Since this may be the last time I’m writing about the Hungry Ghost Month on this blog, I thought I’ll put some of the highlights that all of you have to remember.

  1. Hungry Ghost Month happens every 7th Lunar Month of the year.
  2. During this time, the gates of hell are opened to let the hungry ghosts in hell roam and have their food.
  3. Remember, that hungry ghosts are sometimes in this world and not in hell. The said hungry ghosts who lives amongst us are strengthen.
  4. During this time, yin energy or negative chi (energy) is pervasive.
  5. It is not good for you to move to a new house, new office, new work during this time.
  6. It is advisable not to go to any yin places during the hungry ghost month. Yin places are cemetery, funeral, and hospitals.
  7. Do not undergo any medical procedures during this time.
  8. It is highly advisable to put some food outside of your house so that the hungry ghost will not go inside your house to look for food.
  9. Make sure to make offerings to your dead relatives.
  10. Do not go out in the evening.
  11. Do not travel.
  12. Do not pick up a coin on the street.
  13. Do not look if you hear somebody calling you ‘psst…’ or if the voice calling you is unfamiliar.
  14. Do not goof around so much in the evening.
  15. Do not tap anybody on the shoulder.
  16. Remember that even if you have the good stars of the flying stars this could be tempered or ruined by the pervading yin chi of the month.
  17. If you have negative stars this will definitely be aggravated by the pervasive yin energy of the hungry ghost month.
  18. Remember negative effects of Feng Shui blunders such as poison arrows, having sa septic tank inside or in front of your house, crossing or walking under the stairs, etc., are doubled, tripled, or greatly heightened this time.
  19. Do not sign any contract during this time.
  20. Avoid partying in your house.
  21. Avoid leaving food in your room, specially left over food.
  22. If you feel a presence, a negative energy or chi, ignore them. Do not attempt to cleanse them or get rid of them if you are not familiar how to do it properly. You might attract more and encourage them to stay.
  23. When inside the movie house or theater avoid seating of the front row. It is said that the spirits are attracted to the yang energy of a play, concert, movie and will stay on the front row.
  24. Do not leave your clothes outside of your house in the evening. Especially clothes of baby or young children. The spirit might attached themselves to it.
  25. Make sure you cover the eyes of dolls, human figurines, the hungry ghost might possess them.
  26. Don’t drive too fast. Be very conscious. If you hit something or somebody, make sure first that you did hit a living thing. This might be a ploy of a spirit to ‘hitch’ a ride and attach itself to your car or to you.
  27. Do not look into a body of water in the evening.
  28. Do not go swimming.
  29. Do not spit on the street or on random places. You shouldn’t be doing this anyway whether it is hungry ghost month or not.
  30. Most importantly if this is preceded by an eclipse whether lunar eclipse or solar eclipse know that it is an ill omen about the coming hungry ghost month.

As such, it is highly advisable that one remains protected during this time.

The best protections are the following: Chung Kwei pendant made of real / genuine black tourmaline or onyx or obsidian or black jade or gold; Vajrapani Ruel with gold Kalachakra pendant; gold Bodhisattva Sangharama pendant (also known as Kuan Kong, Guan Gong, Kuan Te Yah, Guan Te Yah, Guan Yu, Guan Yu, Qie Lan Pu Sa).

For those who are haunted it is also very good to have a SPECIAL GOLD PIYAO with the Chung Kwei or Vajrapani Ruel and Surangama Mantra Amulet.

Is the Philippines Starting to Have so much Yin Energy?

Published Oktubre 5, 2017 by jptan2012

In the preceding post I talked about how Feng Shui experts believes that we have entered the darker half of the year, and how my Guru Lama himself has confirmed that the energies of the year has started to shift to a bit more negative.

Today, I would like to talk about the Philippines, since I’m from the Philippines and many of my readers are from the Philippines. Furthermore, it is easier for me to analyze this because I’m here and I’m able to know what is happening thru the news and thru friends who are in the know.

I admire the President’s resolve and determination to stop drugs. However, as a Buddhist and as a Feng Shui writer I would like to humbly say that I don’t quite agree with all the killing that is happening. I’m not so sure of the official number now, but the last time they released a statement they have put the number at 6,000 deaths. That was several months ago, a friend who works for the government says that the number now is at around 13,000 deaths. Let’s just say it is at 6,000, we are 100% higher than those who died in the US – Iraq war.

As a Feng Shui writer, what bothers me more is the effect of these deaths in the country. It is safe to say that all these deaths are sudden deaths, meaning, the souls or the consciousness of these people who died might not be able to adjust to the other world. And because it is sudden and quite violent it means there is a very big chance that these souls or consciousness (as Buddhist would call it) will all become hungry ghost, perhaps even angry hungry ghosts. Now where do you think will they be? Most of them would be roaming around the streets, and aside from the yin energy from these hungry ghosts, the yin energies created by the process of killing will create so much yin energy that will be hard to cleanse because it constinuously happens.

I’m not saying that we should not eradicate drugs. But maybe we can eradicate it in a more positive way. And again, I’m strictly speaking as a Buddhist and as a Feng Shui writer. Perhaps strengthening our education and eradicating poverty, rather than what appears to be eradicating the poor, might be a better solution, besides Thailand and Colombia has done what is being done here and they failed, and not only they failed, they failed miserably. Furthermore, what doesn’t sit well with me is that the admission of the government that ‘incentives’ are given to the police for neutralizing an addict or a drug user.

Again, I’m aware that there are heinous crimes done by people under the influence of drugs, but perhaps if one cuts the neck or the source of drugs, these drug dependents will not be able to use drugs. It might lessen the crime, and perhaps if enforcement of the law is done better, it might help curb all these crimes.

Another thing that bothers me as a Feng Shui writer is how divisive the country is now. How much people fight in a negative way to defend what they believe in. It is as if healthy debate is no longer accepted. Look at it this way, in Feng Shui if you quarrel a lot in your house, it creates a lot of negative energies and might bring some bad luck, most of my regular knows this because I have written about it a lot at the start of this blog. These fighting will create the same effect on the country because we are also doing it on a bigger scale.

And so I’m afraid that we are creating so much yin energy for our country.

Thus we should all endeavor to fight for what is right in a positive way. We should all try to make our voice heard if what is done is negative. We should try to keep a steady flow of yang energy in the hope that this energy will also affect the country. One way of doing that is simple. Let us all pray, and pray positively.

Infertility Caused By Bad Feng Shui!

Photo uploaded from Google Images

A few months ago a couple got in touch with me because they want to have a child. The couple has been married for 8 years now and has been wanting to conceive but find it hard to do so. They have consulted several medical specialists about their concern, both here and in Singapore but it was all to no avail. They were asking whether the Surangama Mantra Amulet or the Vajrapani Ruel could help them have a child.

When I checked their bazi it showed that while both their descendant luck is not that strong, there is no reason for them not to have a child or two. So I called up Guru Lama to ask what would be the best cure for them, whether it is the Surangama Mantra Amulet or the Illness Suppression Amulet. The Vajrapani Ruel might not work for their situation.

However, Guru Lama said, I should just check the Feng Shui of the house because what is preventing them from conceiving a child is really because of bad Feng Shui. And since it was Guru Lama who asked me to check on the Feng Shui of their house, I don’t have much choice but to take time out to see it and squeeze it in my already busy schedule.

There were several minor Feng Shui blunders in their house and I told them how to fix it, but the biggest Feng Shui blunder that’s preventing them from conceiving can found in the couple’s bedroom.

First, there were several potpourris in vases in their room, furthermore, the wife who is an artist makes framed artworks from dried leaves. These are all dead energies, and no new life will sprang from it. It’s bad enough to have these when you’re single, but as a couple, it only means no new life will develop so they will find it hard to conceive. Potpourri and dried leaves all has yin energy.

Furthermore, under their bed they have placed all the ‘old items’ that they don’t want to use but want to keep, so it becomes some sort of a storage area. So in a way, it is again symbolic of a dead energy. I really think that these two things are what are preventing them from conceiving.

Three months after I did their Feng Shui and after clearing out the potpourri and the dried leaves artwork and clearing out the things under their bed, they called me to tell me the a child is on their way. A few days ago they called to say that they’re expecting twins and want me to be the godfather.

Sometimes our problems in life are really just cause by a simple Feng Shui blunder.

A Quick Post About the Things to Avoid During the Hungry Ghost Month!

Published Agosto 28, 2017 by jptan2012

Some of these things I have written in the past, some maybe just now. But allow me to quickly share a few things that one should avoid doing during the Hungry Ghost Month (Ghost Month) especially the Hungry Ghost Festival (Ghost Festival) which for this 2017 is on September 5.

Things to avoid:

  1. Avoid disturbing around and under the altar because the hungry ghosts loves to dwell around those areas because they want the yang energy.
  2. Avoid disturbing the kitchen or dining area or even the market or anywhere where there is food. Hungry Ghosts crave for food and so they might be in those areas.
  3. Do not put new fish tanks or aquarium in your house, because this might enhance the yin energy that is already pervasive during the ghost month.
  4. Do not hand wind chimes. Contrary to popular Feng Shui belief, there are a number of non – commercialized, traditional Feng Shui masters and Feng Shui experts who doesn’t believe in the use of wind chimes because a wind chime attracts spirits. I also subscribe to this belief They attract both good and bad spirits, so how can you siphon the good from the bad?
  5. Do not leave red cloths or red strings lying around the house? Red has one of the strongest yang energy and hungry ghosts will naturally crave for them.
  6. Avoid whistling especially after dark. Same principle with the wind chime, they may get attracted with the sound and they might latch on to you.
  7. Avoid properly putting any footwear beside your bed, always turn the footwear away from the bed or turn one of them over. Properly placed footwear may attract spirits to you.
  8. Do not hang your clothes overnight. Hungry Ghosts are not just hungry, they also lack clothes, while they don’t need it, they might feel that they need one because they still long for their human body. Hanging it overnight might lead them to ‘try it’ and it will cause extreme bad luck or even some hauntings.
  9. Do not pick up money on the streets or on the floor if you don’t know who owns them. Even if they’re just coins. A spirit might have latched on to it already and you will bring them with you.
  10. Do not look back if you hear a ‘pssst’ or if you hear somebody calls you in an empty space or street.

I also received some emails and questions as to what one can do if one really has to undergo a medical procedure this ghost month. I have written about this before and you can check it out by clicking here. However, please note to try to avoid this and if this is not possible, for major operations, or for medical procedure, which may be considered routine but involves senior citizens or children below 7 years of age, it is best to have the Vajrapani Ruel and/or a gold Kalachakra pendant.

Guide Lines In Going To The Cemetery!

Published Oktubre 25, 2016 by jptan2012

cemeteryThe month of November is a double black month in the sense that the #2 Flying Star, which is also known as the Illness Star, a star that causes not only illness but grave accidents is doubled this month in the center. Furthermore, the most dreaded star, the #5 Flying Star or Wu Wang also called as Five Yellow Star is doubled in the Northeast. This affects all the people whose rooms (office / bedroom) are in the northeast, or whose house door or office door faces northeast, but most especially, people born under the year of the Ox and Tiger.

We all know that this means the month of November is going to be bad for those who are affected, as mentioned above, but also we have to be careful about being sick and accidents. This will not happen until November 7, 2016, but since we are going through Halloween, it is best to take precautions.

The cemetery or a columbarium is negative place, it is a place where yin energy rules. So going to the cemetery might not be advisable especially since we are going through a yin month. This is especially true for those born in the year of the Ox and Tiger.

But All Saints Day / All Souls Day is a big deal for a lot of Filipinos. We really have to go to the cemetery to pay our respect to our departed loved ones. So what do we do then?

First, make sure you go there in the morning, and don’t stay until in the evening. Because evening is considered as yin. Then make sure you go there at a time where a lot of people are in the cemetery, because having a lot of people creates a lot of yang energy, so it is better to be around the yang energy while you are at the cemetery. I know some people would like to go there before All Saints Day / All Souls Day so that it will not be too crowded. But it is better to go there while a lot of people are at the cemetery because, as mentioned, you will need the yang energy.

Make sure also you wear your powerful amulets. If you don’t have the Vajrapani Ruel or the Kalachakra pendant or Surangama Mantra Amulet, wear something you really believed in and are powerful and that you are sure will protect you.

It is also advisable to wear something bright and happy. Don’t wear black or blue.

On your way to the cemetery alternately chant the mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani – OM VAJRAPANI HUM – and OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT.  Stop only upon entering the site where your loved one is buried. Then first thing you should do is light a candle. Light a red candle if he/she has passed away more than 3 years. Then use yellow if under 3 years.

Also if possible, bring a Mantra Box (a device that plays mantras – see photo) and play it there while you are there. It’s best to play the mantra of Amitabha Buddha – NAMO AMITUOFO – or – OM AMI DEWA HRIH.

mantra box

When leaving for a long period of time get a small mantra box like the one in the picture. Don’t get anythings that’s really fancy such as those with lights, they consume battery energy faster. These are more energy efficient and 2 AA Batteries will last for a longer period of time.

On your way out start chanting the two mantras again and then if possible swing by a temple and light an incense. If you can swing by a temple go and eat at a restaurant before going home.

When you get home, make sure you take off all your clothing and have them wash with a teaspoon of salt. You should also take a salt bath or shower. Remember that it has to be sea salt, rock salt, or pink Himalayan salt.

Cleanse Yourself From the Effects of the Harvest Moon (Post Mid – Autumn Festival) Eclipse Last Week!

Published Setyembre 19, 2016 by jptan2012

All eclipses are bad because it signifies the imbalance of Yin and Yang. All brightness whether it is from the sun or from the moon, which signifies Yang energy, is blocked out therefore bringing darkness, which signifies Yin Energy. So needless to say, all eclipses are bad.

Last week, while stuck in traffic, I wrote about the lunar eclipse happening on a Harvest Moon (Mid – Autumn Festival / Mooncake Festival). Because it was written in haste, I was not able to explain further the significance of Harvest Moon.

You can read my post about the eclipse entitled – TODAY’S LUNAR ECLIPSE AFFECTING THE HARVEST MOON SIGNIFIES DOUBLE BAD LUCK – by clicking here.

For the Chinese right after Mid – Autumn Festival is called Harvest Moon because the harvest season continues. This is one of the most celebrated events because it signifies ushering in of renewed good chi; especially we are coming from the previous month of negative chi because of the Hungry Ghost Month!

Because I was late in posting it, a lot of you might have read the post after you have been already exposed from the negative chi of the lunar eclipse, and naturally a lot of you emailed me and several of you who knows my mobile number sent a message and called frantic about being exposed to the effect of the lunar eclipse. And so I decided to write about how to cleanse yourself from the effects of the Harvest Moon Eclipse last week and move the original post for some other day.

If you have been exposed or if you are outdoor while the eclipse happened but wears the Vajrapani Ruel, Surangama Mantra Amulet, or a Kalachakra during or immediately after the exposure, then you need not worry, you should be fine. If until now you haven’t worn those amulets or you don’t have them I suggest you wear or carry the symbolic script of the immediate negative karma cleansing mantra OM AH HUM. (Please see photo)om-ah-hum

Also for the next 7 days put 2 tablespoon of rock salt or sea salt, or pink Himalayan salt on your tub and soak yourself in it for about 5 minutes, all the while chanting OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. If you don’t have a bathtub, you can put it in a pail of water or in a basin then use that as your first wash. Chant OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT while dousing yourself with the water. If you use a shower, you can get two handful of salt and slowly rub it on your body before your final wash. While rubbing chant OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT and then let the salt stay your body for two minutes and chant the same mantra.

DID BEING HIT BY A LIGHTNING CAUSE A PERSON TO WIN THE LOTTERY YEARS AFTER?

Published Agosto 1, 2015 by jptan2012

lightningMost of us are afraid of lightning and I can’t say that there is no reason for us to be afraid of it. First, there are no obvious and practical reasons that a lightning gives us. Second, who wouldn’t be scare of the thousands of volts going through one’s body? In fact, lightning is almost always destructive and fatal.

Recently, I read news about a man getting hit by a lightning and then he won the lottery. This got me thinking whether there is a connection between being hit by a lightning and winning the lottery. Let me explain why.

My Feng Shui teacher actually loves lightning, he said this is one of the most powerful Yang energy can tap into that is if we can fully tap into its yang energy. Come to think of it, a lightning is a very powerful Yang energy that it lightens up a Yin energy of the night. I’m sure most of us are familiar as to how can the skies or our surrounding becomes so bright for a fraction of a second if there’s a lightning. Furthermore, even if we have a lightning in the daytime, we can still see that the lightning is capable of brightening the sky a little.lottery

A lot of the wrathful images of Buddhas or Bodhisattvas depict them holding a lighting bolt; this is to signify their power over darkness. In fact, the ruling Bodhisattva of the Vajrapani Ruel, Vajrapani Bodhisattva has a Vajra, which is ball of lightning or thunderbolt or lightning bolt. Vajrapani Bodhisattva himself is a member of the Vajra family.

They say that being hit by a lightning and winning a lottery has a combined chance of 1 in 2.6 trillion, so maybe being hit by a lightning and surviving it gave him this chance of winning it. I remember a deaf person when he was hit by a lightning survived it and started to hear again.

According to my Feng Shui teacher if we can tap into the yang energy of a lightning even just a fraction of it, this will help boost our luck.

On my next post, I will talk about how one can tap into a very small fraction of the yang energy of a lightning.

Don’t Sleep in Total Darkness!

Published Hulyo 17, 2015 by jptan2012

sleepingI know some people prefers to sleep in total darkness and admittedly sometimes one would feel that it gives us a much more restful sleep. However, in Feng Shui sleeping in total darkness is not a very good idea.

Sleeping in total darkness will create total yin energy. While we sometimes need yin energy to avoid from having too much yang energy, being totally yin atmosphere is also bad. I once had an officemate who always feel that he slept soundly with all the light out, but we noticed that he seems to be more prone to minor accidents. When he consulted me, I told him to try putting a night light while he sleeps to simply add a little yang energy and to avoid being in total yin room. Reluctantly, he did it, and surprisingly it worked, the accidents stopped!

Embracing a Tomb and Taking Pictures of It Attracts Bad Chi!

Published Hunyo 2, 2014 by jptan2012

tombThe other day a friend showed me a feed on his Facebook about a mother who went to her daughter’s tomb. The mother took pictures of the tomb while she was embracing the tomb. This bothered me because what she was doing is attracting a lot of bad chi.

I believe I’ve mentioned in my previous posts that it is better to cremate a person, because a tomb will create a Feng Shui energy that will certainly affect the family of the deceased and the future generations. This aspect of Feng Shui that deals with the tomb is called Yin Feng Shui, and personally I don’t want to deal with it, it is much more difficult aspect of Feng Shui. Cremating a person will devoid any form of chi or energy thus in Feng Shui it is a preferred mode of internment.

However, as mentioned this mom took pictures of her visiting the tomb of her child and posted it on Facebook. This should be fine if one wants to share her feelings to friends and families who are abroad, but I think embracing the tomb is a little too extreme.

Generally speaking in Feng Shui taking pictures of a tomb creates bad energy, it is literally copying and/or duplicating the Yin energy of the tomb. Needless to say, that is bad.

This mom went a little further, she lied on top of the tomb and acted like she is embracing the tomb. What she is doing is fully absorbing the yin energy of the tomb, which is a very bad thing to do. You might think or say that she is only a mom who misses her child so much that she embraced the tomb because she feels that the body of her child is in the tomb. This may be true, but at the risk of sounding cruel or heartless, it still doesn’t change the fact that no matter what is your religious belief the person is no longer in there, the ‘body’ has become an empty vessel!

Adopted Abandoned Dogs Are Saving Their Humans

Published Mayo 29, 2014 by jptan2012

A few days ago I wrote about how burying dead pets on your yard creates a lot of yin energy. This prompted one of my readers to email and send me an sms. She was lucky enough that I was able to read her email right away, and because I know how serious this matter is I agreed to meet her and go to her place.

MLS said that when they transferred to their new house, things started going sour with some of the things in their life. There are several things that she shared with me, but one of the major problems that they encountered is it seems that her husband’s professional life took a nose dive. She said she noticed when she moved to their house and when they buried five puppies in their yard.

When I get to their house, the first thing I noticed is that their main house door is slanted. I call this ‘dragon door’, because if done right they have the ability to bring dragon luck, which is an enormous amount of luck into one’s life. However, this is a very tricky thing to do and I’ve never seen any modern Feng Shui consultants execute this. In fact, I personally don’t feel comfortable doing this because a slight error in measurement, it will then become a ‘yin dragon door’. This means it will bring a tremendous amount of bad luck. MLS has a dragon door, judging from how it was done, it looks like that it has become a ‘yin dragon door’ and he has 4 such doors in her house. To top it off, there are several more Feng Shui blunders that I pointed out to them. Not to mention, there are also dead puppies buried in their yard.

I don’t really remember whether I told them this, but I felt that they’re still lucky, because with so much major Feng Shui blunders in one house things could have been at its worst!

Puti, relaxing in front of the air conditioner on a very warm lazy aftenoon.

Puti, relaxing in front of the air conditioner on a very warm lazy aftenoon.

There are several possible factors why they didn’t get to feel the full effects of the major Feng Shui blunders. They may be good people and have garnered so much positive karma that even if the Feng Shui blunders in their house are so big, they weren’t that affected. But one thing I noticed is that they have two aspins or Asong Pinoy, a Filipino non-breed dog that are usually found on the streets. MLS’s family, especially her husband and children took care of the dogs when they were surely destined to have died on the street or eaten by drunkards.

The dogs are Puti and Matic and both of them are female dogs. The carpenters who were building their house when she was still a puppy bought Puti. They want to bring her up so that they can slaughter and eat her. Matic on the other hand was an abandoned dog that gave birth to her puppies on the street. AS, MLS husband then saved Matic and her puppies. Unfortunately, Matic’s puppies all died of parvo. They’re the ones who are now buried in their yard.

Adopting a pet and ensuring that they become well balanced is one sure way of wiping our negative karma or fighting off bad luck. In the case of MLS and AS, I can only imagine the good karma that they got from adopting both Puti and Matic without even thinking about karma or luck.

Puti and Matic are now indoors dogs and love to seat in front of the air conditioner. Also, while they used to scavenge for food, their humans now know their favorite food. According to MLS they love to eat Menudo (pork with liver stew) but are not very fond of Sinigang (Filipino hot sour soup).

AS and MLS and their children changed the lives of both Puti and Matic and now I believe just because they’re happy dogs they’re also helping their humans by giving them positive chi!

Don’t Create Yin Energy with Your Dead Pet’s Body

Published Mayo 14, 2014 by jptan2012

cute dogMy readers would know that I love dogs and I would always remind my readers that while dogs gives us good Feng Shui, this can only happen if we put their well being a priority and if we ensure that they become a balance dog.

However, allow me to share the story of one former officemate who had a very good life, until one day he came to me crying to tell me that his father fell ill and that his brother was involved in an accident. Furthermore, there were a lot of bickering in the house, and it used to be a loving and tight family. She wants to know what she can do to stop all the negative things that have been happening to them.

Told her of the necessary cures, and to her credit she followed all my advice, but she said while things are a little better, the problem it’s just a little better and now they’re in danger of losing their savings because of the expensive cost of their father’s treatment.

I decided to visit their house and did a Feng Shui audit. Except for minor adjustments, everything seems to be fine. I didn’t see anything that would cause all the problems, and I’m beginning to think that all the problems were of a collective karmic nature. However, when I went into the yard, I saw a really nice figure of dog and mentioned it because it was really nice. My ex-officemate casually mentioned that they put it there in memory of their beloved dog Meimei! I thought it was Meimei’s favorite spot and mentioned this to my ex-officemate and she clarified that it’s where they put Meimei’s dead body when she passed away! Bingo! I now know the problem.

I asked them whether all the problems started when Meimei died, and they said that in hindsight that it did. I then clarified that her death didn’t cause the problems but her dead body in the yard did. We all know that anything dead whether it’s fruit or vegetables or pets creates yin energy!

But what to do with the body of a dead pet? Bury them somewhere else, or if it might prove to be impractical and expensive. Cremate the body, scatter the ashes on your garden, or put the ashes in an urn and place it somewhere in your house or garden, or if you want you can bury the urn with ashes on your garden.

I believe I’ve mentioned this before, ashes of a dead person or pet is considered neither yin nor yang. It simply doesn’t have a chi so it won’t affect your luck or Feng Shui.

They immediately had the body exhumed, cremated it (or at least what’s left of it), we did a cleansing ritual where it was buried, then they took the ashes home and buried it again in the same spot.

Last I heard from her, they’re doing really well again.

How to Counter the Negative Chi of A Hospital

Published Mayo 7, 2014 by jptan2012

Today, I would yet like to share with you another natural way of countering negative chi. It is almost inevitable that at one point in our life we will either be hospitalized, have a loved one who’s going to be hospitalized, or visit somebody in the hospital.

As I mentioned before the hospital is one of the most yin place one can visit, and it is extremely important that one is totally protected when we enter the hospital, either as a patient or as a visitor.Ft. Belvoir Hospital

I personally just wear my WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT and/or the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT whenever I go to the hospital. The WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT has the image of The Great Sage, Equal of Heaven Sun Wukong who is one the most powerful protector deity. The WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA pendant on the other hand has the image of the Medicine Buddha, Kuan Kong, Kalachakra, both the immediate and the negative karma cleansing mantra, which are all very powerful protector from the yin energy that a hospital emits.

However, the truth is not everyone can afford the pendants that I mentioned. But there are other ways of protecting oneself from the yin energy of the hospital without having to buy either of the pendants.

As a patient if the doctor’s recommendation is that you be confined in the hospital, ask a love to make sure to put rock salt in the 4 corners of your room and in the 4 corners of the restroom. About a teaspoon each will do. You personally, should have about a teaspoon of rock salt beside your bed and make sure that you always have flowers inside the room. Try to choose colorful ones rather than those that are quite dull in color. Having fruits in the room will also help. So having the salt and flowers and/or fruits will ensure that the yang energy of these things will counter the yin energy of the room or of the hospital.

Flowers are a great way of dispelling the negative chi or yin energy of a hospital. Furthermore, it can make a sick person feel better. (Photo lifted from Google Images)

Upon discharge, take a piece of flower with you and some salt as you leave. Throw them out on your way home, just before you get home.

If you are taking care of a love one or are visiting a loved one, try to have a small packet of rocket salt and put it in your pocket. Throw them out every time you leave the hospital and bring a new one whenever you’re going there. If possible also get a flower and throw it out just before you reach your home.

Additional piece of advice, if you can, before entering your hospital room, have a love one knock on the door first, open the door, and act as if someone is getting out of the room. This is to make sure that if there are any lingering spirits inside, they hopefully take the cue that they need to leave the room.
