Chant – A – Mantra (14): It’s Not All About Amulets!

Published Setyembre 27, 2017 by jptan2012

chanting mantraOne of the things that I hate most when writing about amulets is that I know that it is not for everybody. Some people simply can’t afford the amount of exchange of energies needed to acquire an amulet.

Note: To understand why there is an stipulated amount of donation for an amulet, please read the article – THE EVOLUTION OF ACQUIRING AN AMULET.

But at this point, I would like to share that there are people who have gotten some of the amulets for ‘free’ only because they already have made the ‘exchange of energies’ through their good deeds or sometimes they’re simply lucky to have good karma to receive it from people who are willing to share amulets with them.

Recently, my Guru Lama released a powerful wealth amulet called VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET; he discovered this amulet about 20 years ago in a copy of a sacred tantric scripture or book called “Maha Biddhuya Vaircona Abihidisambohi Vikurvitadthisnana Vaipulya Sudrentaha Raja Nama Dharma – Paryaya”. There were a lot of request for the amulet and now three of those who requested said that they could already see the progress and betterment of their financial future. However, as my Guru Lama said, he can only afford to make this wealth amulet once a year, and so he can makes it by batches, the first batch of which is fast running out. But for those who won’t be able to request the amulet do not despair, because it is not all about amulet.

Vaisravana Dzambhala Wealth Amulet

The Vaisavana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet has the consecrated copies of the mantras of King Vaisravana of the Four Heavenly Kings and the mantras of the Five Dzambhalas. Furthermore, there are some special ingredients in powder form that are included to add to the potency of the amulet. Before it is sealed it is furthered consecrated on the image of The Four Heavenly Kings. It is placed in a metal case, not just for its durability and protection but according to the Tantric Buddhist Scripture book where Guru Lama got the instructions for this amulet, it has to be placed in cylindrical metal case to symbolize continuity and stability.

I have a reader who is quite famous in Davao, in this blog she is simply called BM, and I have written about her a number of times. Although she has several amulets, she has had a good life. Why? It is simply because she has a good heart and is a very kind hearted, compassionate person. I have written about her several times and you can find the link below. I suggest you take time out to read about her and the lessons that she has imparted to my readers thru me.

I also have another reader who at one time really wants the Vajrapani Ruel(1), however, she simply can’t afford the stipulated donation or exchange of energy for the Vajrapani Ruel(2). Real and effective amulets can really get quite pricey. And so I told her to chant the mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani – OM VAJRAPANI HUM. She did it under deep meditation everyday, and it worked for her, although in the end she still opted to get the Vajrapani Ruel(3).

Amulets can hasten things and it will really help because amulets when properly done and are consecrated then further blessed by high lamas serves as an extension of a Buddha or Bodhisattva. They sort of ‘lock’ a part of the energy of the Buddha or Bodhisattva. But we need not despair for we can still directly tap into these energies. How do we do that? Simply by chanting their mantras.

For the Vajrapani Ruel(4), one can simply chant OM VAJRAPANI HUM 108x a day.

Vajrapani Ruel

The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It’s important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless. The Vajrapani Ruel itself is only about 1 to 2 inches and it varies from one ruel to another.

For the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet(2) one should chant the mantra of King Vaisravana of the Four Heavenly Kings 1,080 times or 10 full malas. One mala is 108 times. The mantra is OM VAISRAVANA YE SOHA.

It should be followed by the mantras of the Five Dzambhala (also spelled as Jambala, Dzambala, Jambhala, Zambhala, Zambala). Each mantra should be chanted 108 times.

Here the mantras of the Five Dzambhalas:

  • Green Dzambhala: OM KARMA DZAMBHALA AH SOHA
  • White Dzambhala: OM PADMO KRODA ARYA DZAMBHALA HRIH DAYA HUM PHAT
  • Yellow Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE SOHA
  • Red Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE DANAM MEDIHI HRIH DAKINI DZAMBALA SAMBHARA SOHA
  • Blue/Black Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE BASHU DHARINI SOHA

NOTE: FOR THESE MANTRAS TO BE EFFECTIVE AS AN AMULET, ONE SHOULD RECITE IT UNDER DEEP MEDITATION, A LEVEL WHEREIN ONE IS ALMOST NO LONGER AWARE OF ONE’S SURROUNDINGS.

The Creation of Wealth: Is Wanting to Get Wealthy A Sin and A Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet Miraculous Story Shared by My Guru Lama!

Published Setyembre 1, 2017 by jptan2012

wealthEncountering new amulets is always a unique and wonderful experience. Being one of the instruments to make the amulet available to some people is even a bigger blessing. Just recently another powerful wealth amulet was introduced in this blog, the amulet is called the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet, and while it is a fairly new amulet to be read about, it is technically an old amulet since the instruction of it was found by my Guru Lama about 20 years ago in a Tantric Buddhist Scripture, whose original copy is said to have been written by high lama in Tibet approximately 1,200 years ago. This means, the amulet itself has been existing at the very least 1,200 years or maybe even more. There were several initiation for an amulet in the said Tantric Buddhist Scripture, and several are in use now, however, as to why this particular amulet has not been regularly used, nobody knows.

In the post called THE VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET: AN INTRODUCTION TO A VERY POWERFUL WEALTH AMULET, I wrote about how Guru Lama in a deep meditative state discovered the holy book (a copy of the original one) where the instruction and ritual in making this amulet was written. He also made this amulet for the first time for one of his Sangha member who at that time lives in poverty but is now one of the famous rich Singaporean businessmen.

Although that was the first time Guru Lama made the amulet, it was definitely not the last. From time to time, he will make the amulet for some people who badly need it. And today, I will share one of the stories whom Guru Lama has blessed by making this amulet for that person.

Chun Qiet (CQ) is a Malaysian – Chinese who was born in Singapore. His parents are both devout Buddhist and are Sangha members of the temple where Guru Lama serves as Abbot. His family would always go to temple and Guru Lama knows the family quite well. One day, tragedy strike, CQ’s family had an accident and both of CQ’s parents died.

CQ was left with his father’s business. But CQ was only 19 then and he is not familiar with the business. An uncle came to help, but after 4 years they soon found out that he is not capable of running his brother’s business and suggested to CQ to just sell the business. Since CQ is close to Guru Lama, he sought him out and asked for blessings. CQ confessed that if he doesn’t sell the business he might be left with nothing. He might have to sell their house. But at the same time he confessed that he doesn’t want to sell his father’s business because he feels that it is his father’s legacy.

Guru Lama doesn’t agree that CQ’s father’s legacy is the business because he believes the CQ’s father’s legacy is CQ himself, who has proven himself to be a responsible and good young man.

After that conversation that Guru Lama had with CQ, he decided to make the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet for CQ.

Note: That was not the second time Guru Lama made the amulet; he has made it for several other people.

After receiving the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet, CQ was approached by an old friend of his father to ask about his welfare and the business. CQ opened up about his dilemma, and surprisingly this ‘uncle’ offered to invest in the business so CQ can help bring it back up, but on top of that he offered to help in the business. CQ’s uncle was initially reluctant because he was afraid that his brother’s friend would just take over the business. But somehow CQ realized that he got nothing to lose and he decided to just plunge into it, besides he felt that the amulet would help him.

Well, it did. That was 14 years ago. CQ is now again the sole owner of the business he inherited from his father. He has since made the business bigger. His father’s only guided him in the business for 3 years after which he gradually left the business until it was made official thru legal papers again 7 years after he invested and ‘meddled’ in the business. CQ has since then ‘bought him out’ of the business again, obviously this was done amicably. CQ firmly believes that it was because of the amulet that he was fortunate enough to be reacquainted with his father’s friend.

Vaisravana.

King Vaisravana a powerful Buddhist wealth god is the chief of the Four Heavenly Kings.

Guru Lama explains that the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is not an amulet that gives you a quick rich blessing. Although, he has seen this happened also. However, he said the main effect of the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is protection; protection that you don’t lose your wealth or money, but it is also helps you create your wealth by leading you to the right people and to the right sources. Guru Lama explains that in “Maha Biddhuya Vaircona Abihidisambohi Vikurvitadthisnana Vaipulya Sudrentaha Raja Nama Dharma – Paryaya”, the Tantric Buddhist Scripture or book where he found the guideline for the initiation of the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet, it clearly states that this particular wealth amulet is an amulet that helps gather wealth sources for you, then helps you actualize your wealth, after which it will stabilize it and makes it a continuous process to help your wealth grow bigger and bigger. Thus it is imperative that the container is a cylindrical metal to represent continuity and stability. What does this mean? It means it is unique in such a way that it doesn’t pull out from your bazi or karma or own luck the money, but rather it creates wealth luck for you. Other amulets like the Vajrapani Ruel, which is mainly a protective amulet but has a very high percentage of wealth luck manifesting features, will bring wealth luck to you if you have wealth luck base on your bazi or karma. Our life are pre – determined, but this doesn’t mean that it is only pre – determined on a single path, it is pre – determined with various paths, the normal is 3 – 4 paths, sometimes more, but there are times that it is only 2. However, admittedly there is a single path is more dominant than all the other paths. And what the Vajrapani Ruel and the other amulet does is get your wealth luck from all the other paths. The Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is unique in such a way that even if there is no wealth luck in all the ‘paths’ of your life, it creates it for you. So in a way it changes your wealth destiny. So this amulet is very good for people who absolutely don’t have wealth luck. Nevertheless, for those who have wealth luck already but are unable to tap into it, the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet helps pull those luck for you, make it attainable and then creates a new path for you so that it becomes sustainable and continuous, it is not a “one time, big time” thing.

Inside the metal container are the consecrated mantras of King Vaisravana, the chief of the Four Heavenly Kings, and a known wealth god, with the consecrated mantras of the Yaksa (also spelled as Yaksha) wealth gods: Green Dzambhala, White Dzambhala, Yellow Dzambhala, Red Dzambhala, and Blue Dzambhala/Black Dzambhala!

Note: Dzambhala is also spelled as Dzambala, Jambhala, Jambala, Zambhala, Zambala.

The mantras were printed under strict Mahayana guidelines found in the Tantric Buddhist book and then consecrated under strict Mahayana – Hinayana initiations. It was then sealed under special prayers and mantras that a high lama like Guru Lama can chant.

Some of you might be asking why create a wealth amulet. That is because whether we accept it or not we are living in a time where there is a lot of uncertainty and money problems or financial problems seems to becoming more common. We all want and need financial blessings or money blessings and there is nothing wrong with it. It boils down to the intent and purpose; those are the things that determine the goodness or evilness of having money.

Majority of my readers are Christians, which is ironic because a lot of those attack my site as evil are also Christians, and I’m sure a lot of you will be asking whether isn’t this bad because ‘money is the root of evil’.

Money is not the root of evil. Money is simply that money, it’s a tool. It’s just like a computer or an iron or a chair or car, how we use it makes it evil or good. We are the root of evil, but we are also definitely the root of goodness. What we make of it determines whether it becomes evil or not.

To further answer whether money is bad, or wanting to be wealthy is bad or not, allow me to share something with you.

There is a silent but big number of theologist and scholars who believes that Christianity actually evolved from Buddhism. I have written about this in the past but to briefly put it, Christianity existed about 500 to 1000 years after Buddhism. And the similarities are simply astounding. For example, the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit are very similar to the concept of the Holy Trinity of Buddhism which consists of Amitabha Buddha (who even is not considered as Shakyamuni Buddha’s father is actually an ‘older’ Buddha and was the one who sent Bodhisattva Vajrapani to protect Sakyamuni Buddha on the eve of his full enlightenment), Buddha Sakyamuni (who is the Buddha of our world, who became human first and it has to be noted, if there is a tempting of Jesus Christ, there was also a tempting of Sakyamuni Buddha on the eve of his enlightenment), and Bhaysajyaguru Buddha or better known as Medicine Buddha (which is the only celestial Buddha, a Buddha that didn’t assume a human physical form). As you can see one can see that here this three Buddhas is similar to the Holy Trinity of the Christians.

Furthermore, the concept of the Holy Mother or the Virgin Mother can be akin to Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara who became Kuan Yin Bodhisattva. Even the white dress with the veil is very much similar. Not to mention her ascension is very similar to the ascension story not of Bodhisattva Kuan Yin but rather of Buddha Sakyamuni’s earthly mother.

Note: Bodhisattva Kuan Yin is also called, as already mentioned Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and the other names are Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva, Quan Shi Yin Bodhisattva, Quan Yin Bodhisattva, Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva, Guan Yin Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva Chenrezig, or Kannon Bodhisattva.

Not only that, the concept of Second Coming is very similar to the concept of the coming of the next Buddha, which is Maitreya Buddha. I can go on and on about the other similarities but I think that is a topic for another post.

I say this because I find it surprising the despite of the many similarities, one of the major difference is how one looks at money or wealth. Most Christians whether Catholic or otherwise are not comfortable talking about wanting to have more money or increasing their wealth. That is despite of the fact churches are quite rich. In Buddhism, there is nothing wrong in wanting more money or having the desire to increase wealth. In fact, Buddhism teaches that wealthy people have good karma, it may or may not be from this life but it can be from past life or past lives. Also, being wealthy makes it easier to practice Dharma and to become kinder and helpful to other people. I’m not saying that it is a prerequisite, but what I’m saying is that it is a good tool to make oneself become more compassionate and be helpful.

Allow me to share a story that supposedly happened thousand of year ago:

Lama Atisha, the revered lama and Mahasiddha, came across an old man, dying of starvation in Bodghaya. Lama Atisha offered his own flesh, cut from his body, to save the old man. But the old man said, “How can I eat a monk’s flesh?” Lama Atisha felt helpless in the face of this suffering. In Lama Atisha’s moment of despair, Chenrezeig (Guan Yin), the Compassionate One, appeared to Atisha and said, “Out of my eye, will manifest Jambhala, the Buddha of wealth, to help suffering beings. I shall alleviate their poverty so they will not be distracted from practicing the good heart.”

This is just one version of the timeless story of Jambhala, a “wealth deity,” a profoundly simple story that illustrates why wealth is not necessarily the root of all evils. Again, I would like to bring your attention to the statement that says: I SHALL ALLEVIATE THEIR POVERTY SO THEY WILL NOT BE DISTRACTED FROM PRACTICING THE GOOD HEART. For me this is very important.

Note: The use of Buddha of Wealth is debatable whether it was really the term use. However, some scholars argue that sometimes Buddha is use every time there was selfless act done out of extreme compassion.

Buddhism is all about non – materialistic, and I think it’s teaching about wealth and being non – materialistic perfectly compliment each other. If you are wealthy and is non – materialistic then you have practiced or is practicing one of the greatest dharma.

When Jonathan Ciliberto, a famous writer and critic of books especially Buddhist books, reviewed the book “A Shower of Jewels: Deities of Wealth” he wrote that “a lack of money is an obstacle to practice” to dharma or Buddhism. He further stated that, “Poverty itself, can make practice difficult. It is difficult enough to find birth in the precious human realm, our opportunity to practice the Dharma, without adding to suffering with the burden of poverty. One of the great perfections of practice is generosity—helping all sentient being. Instead of thinking of wealth as selfish (or feeling guilt about its accumulation), we should instead consider the Buddhist concept that wealth can be a virtuous means to help others.”

In Christianity or even in the West (generally speaking) there is some stigma attached to the idea of accumulating wealth when discussing spirituality and generosity.

Venerable Zasep Rinpoche, during a teaching at Gaden Choling explained that in eastern countries wealth practice is not frowned upon as it might be in western cultures. (I would like to clarify that eastern here refers to non – Christian countries). He further added that while meditating on and trying to accumulate wealth might be perceived as the opposite of generosity, as always with Buddhist philosophy, it comes down to intention. If the intention is to achieve virtuous deeds like generosity, healing, relieving the suffering of others and oneself, then wealth practice and accumulation is a meritorious deed.

Approximately 1.5 inches in height.

In the book “World of Transformation: Tibetan Art of Wisdom and Compassion”, which was authored by Marilyn Rhie, David Jackson and Robert A.F. Thurman, the father of Hollywood actress Uma Thurman who happens to be a good friend of Dalai Lama and Tibetan Buddhism scholar and professor, it stated that, These deities of prosperity are… benevolent, and are helpful to spiritual people by supporting the educational purpose of life in the Buddhist perspective.”

It makes sense, if we live in poverty and if we constantly look for money for our day to day survival, we won’t be able to progress in our spiritual growth and more importantly we are unable to help other.

The purpose of practicing wealth rituals or wearing or carrying amulets with high wealth effect like the Vajrapani Ruel, Surangama Mantra Amulet or the Traditional Sutra Amulets or wealth amulets like the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is mainly to provide the means to help oneself and others. Its purpose is not to live a life of luxury but it’s to remove the obstacle to the spiritual practice like eliminating poverty, which is certainly a hindrance.

This reminds me of people like Nanay Socorro Ramos (of the famous National Bookstore) or Bill Gates, or some of my readers like the one in Malaysia or Davao (BM) who despite of being really rich, they maintain a humble and most of all they benefit other people with their wealth. They use their money to help other people.

Now is there anything wrong in wanting to get rich, have money and become wealthy? Well, Buddhism says if the intention is pure, then there is nothing wrong with it.

The Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet: An Introduction to a Very Powerful Wealth Amulet!

Published Agosto 30, 2017 by jptan2012

In my previous post I talked about the Four Heavenly Kings, which are actually Buddhist Gods. If you haven’t read that post, I suggest go and read it first for you to truly understand this post better. Read it by clicking here.

One of the most common concern of people in the past, in the present, and I presume in the future is financial stability. In Buddhism, money is not evil; in fact, one sign of a blessed life is having money. Nevertheless, what we do with the money is what determines evil or good, but that is a topic for another post.

After some discussion, Guru Lama has told me to write about The Four Heavenly Kings and today’s post so that people will know that in the midst of what seems like a worldwide phenomenon of financial problem or struggles, there is still something that we can do so that we don’t get pulled into the mud of financial struggle. In the Philippines, a lot of people are complaining about the continuous weakening of the Philippine peso, and while we can complain and complain, in reality we should all strive to work harder, pray harder, and gather our inner strength to fight this concern.

A famous Feng Shui expert has talked about King Vaisravana or Namtose (Namthose) already, and it is largely because of this also why Guru Lama has said that I should start writing about the Four Heavenly Kings and to write this post, to really put everything in the perspective that he felt it should be written. Note though that this is just how Guru Lama wants it put and that although we don’t know in detail what was said about King Vaisravana, I’m writing it in a way that Guru Lama thinks is the best way to explain it.

Note: The post about the Four Heavenly Kings and this post have both been reviewed first by Guru Lama prior to posting.

Guru Lama felt it is only proper to talk about the Four Heavenly Kings first to disabuse the notion that in Buddhism, our gods are all about money.

In the preceding post about the Four Heavenly Kings, I mentioned that King Vaisravana the head of all the Four Heavenly Gods is wealth god himself, and that he rules over all Yaksas (also spelled as Yaksha), and amongst these Yaksas are the Dzambhalas or the Five Dzambhalas (also spelled as Dzambala, Jambhala, Jambala, Zambala, Zambhala). In this blog, I have already talked about Yellow Dzambhala and White Dzambhala, but as instructed by Guru Lama, allow me to talk about all the 5 Jambhalas again.

First, what are the Jambhalas?

Jambhala (again also spelled as Dzambhala, Dzambala, Jambala, Zambhala, Zambala) is what we call the God of Wealth or Gods of Wealth of the Buddhist. They are known 5 Dzambhala, who are member of the Jewel Family of the Buddhist tradition. Some say that Dzambhalas are manifestations of Bodhisattvas and Buddhas in Yaksha form to help people have a better grasp of their worldly powers. Each Dzambhala has its own mantra to help eliminate poverty and create financial stability.

According to Gyalten Sogdzin Rinpoche Dzambhalas are products of a Bodhisattva’s tears that turn into a Yaksha to aid sentient being to have material and spiritual wealth as well as to help have attain financial stability.

Because in this world, there are all kinds of wrathful and negative emotions or bad spirits, and sometimes they will harm you and other sentient beings, Dzambhala must take on such a wrathful and powerful form to protect us from these harmful spirits and negative karma. Especially, Dzambhala helps us minimize or decrease all misfortunes and obstacles and helps us increase all good fortune and happiness.”

The Five Dzambhalas are Green Dzambhala, Yellow Dzambhala, White Dzambhala, Red Dzambhala, Blue or Black Dzambhala. In Buddhism and Feng Shui as well as Taoism Blue and Black are considered as the same color.

GREEN DZAMBHALAJambala green

  • Is the chief of the 5 Dzambhalas and is said to be the yaksha. He is usually depicted to be standing upon a corpse and holding a mongoose in his left hand and a Kapala (a skull cap) in his right hand. He is usually depicted carrying a jewel producing mongoose in his right hand and has a consort. When depicted as seated, he sits in a vajra position with a Dakini in front of him. His right foot is almost always above a snail and a lotus flower.
  • The mantra of Green Dzambhala is: OM KARMA DZAMBHALA AH SOHA

WHITE DZAMBHALAjambala white

  • Is a Dzambhala who removes suffering from poverty and sickness. He also purifies non – virtuous karmic obstacles, and van averts illness and disaster. White Dzambhala is said to have been born from the right eye of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (Also known or spelled as Chenrezig, Kannon, Quan Yin, Quan Shi Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Kuan Yin), which is also known as the Bodhisattva of Compassion.
  • White Jambhala sits on a snow lion or dragon, and is holding a mongoose in his left hand. The mongoose is said to spit out diamond and other precious items. He also holds a Wealth Banner in his left arm, some Buddhist traditions claims that it is a Victory Banner that he holds. In his right arm is a gold sword.
  • The mantra of White Dzambhala is: OM PADMO KRODA ARYA JAMBALA HRIH DAYA HUM PHAT

YELLOW DZAMBHALAjambala yellow

  • Perhaps the most famous or known Dzambhala of all Dzambhalas. It is said that he is the most powerful of all the Wealth Gods. Yellow Dzambhala can increase good virtues, life span and wisdom. He can also remove poverty with the six realms.
  • A lot of you are familiar with Yellow Dzambhala so I won’t really go into detail about him.
  • The mantra of Yellow Jambhala is: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE SOHA

RED DZAMBHALAjambala red

  • Uniquely, Red Jambhala is the only Dzambhala constantly depicted as practicing with his consort, which is the heavenly mother of wealth that is in – charge of the wealth in the human realm. According to Guru Lama in the olden days, Red Dzambhala is only introduced to the Kings and Emperors, or people with authority or position of power, because the power was then deemed to be only suitable for them for it could attract not only wealth but also fame. It is said that chanting the mantra of Red Dzambhala wealth, fame but it will also gather support of the people. Furthermore, the mantra of Red Jambhala can also attract marital bliss and harmony within the family.
  • The mantra of Red Dzambhala is: OM DZAMBHAL DZALIN DRAYE DHANAM MEDIHI HRIH DAKINI DZAMBHLA SAMBHARA SOHA

BLUE DZAMBHALA / BLACK DZAMBHALAjambala black

  • Is said to have manifested from the waters of the river and gave transmission of generating wealth to king whose kingdom was under extreme financial difficulty. It is said the Blue Jambhala (Black Jambhala) greatly benefits and favors the people who are in extreme poverty if they chant his mantra. It is said that he will purify all bad lucks and obstacles that cause financial problems. He also prevents loss of wealth thru debts and robbery or theft. He can also subdue a human’s ego and eliminate greed.
  • Please note that one should not confuse Black Dzambhala with that of Bodhisattva Vajrapani.
  • The mantra of Blue Dzambhala/Black Dzambhala is: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE BASHU DHARINI SOHA

It is inevitable for me to explain, as instructed by Guru Lama, for me to explain and talk about the Four Heavenly Kings first and to introduce all the God of Wealth – Dzambhalas, before I can really talk about and share with you the good news about the powerful Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet.

Some might consider this as a fairly young and unknown amulet, but according to Guru Lama, this perception is false, for the instructions on how to make this amulets are found in Tantric Buddhist Scriptures.

About two decades ago, when Guru Lama was much younger but who is already heading a temple as it’s Chief Abbot, he was approached by one his Sangha member (temple goer) who goes to the temple, this person is a devout Buddhist and is one of the most compassionate person Guru Lama has met. He will seldom complain, but because he goes to temple almost everyday, Guru Lama would talk to him a lot, and from there he realized that this man has lived a difficult life mostly because he was in poverty. Guru Lama seldom notices how a person dresses, it is as if he sees through the dress or clothes and will just see the person devoid of his financial status in life. But according to Guru Lama, one day this man can’t bear the hardship much longer because he was unable to pay for his wife’s hospitalization and medicines that he just cried and cried while talking to Guru Lama. According to Guru Lama, it is as if he was awakened and notices that the man’s clothes are worn out and to put it simply and directly, he does look poor.

Guru Lama set out to help the man and raise funds for him. However, he knew that this was a temporary help. And so he meditated to know what he could do for this man. In his meditative state he saw a book fell off from one of the shelves in their temple library, which according to Guru Lama was much smaller than it is now. He knew right away that he has been guided by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to check out this book. He remembers clearly which book ‘fell off from the shelf’ in his meditative state and so he went to check this book. Much to his dismay it was a Tantric Buddhist Scripture that can only be read by senior lamas. He was already a senior lama at that time, but a Tantric Buddhist Scripture is one of the most difficult books or books in Buddhism. But since he knew the answers could be found in those pages, he set out to read it.

Three weeks after he came across the instruction on how to make the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet, and knew immediately that this what the Sangha member needs, and so following all the rules and strict guidelines, he set out to make one.

When he gave the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet, which is an amulet that has to be consecrated under the Four Heavenly Kings (not just King Vaisravana) and the Five Dzambhalas, he gave him the instruction as mentioned in the Tantric Buddhist Scripture book he read, to chant the mantras of the three of the Four Heavenly Kings three times, and chant the mantra of King Vaisravana 49 times, and each of the mantra of the Five Dzambhalas 108 times.

The Sangha member followed the instruction and the rest soon became history. To this day, that Sangha member remains to be one of the wealthiest famous people in Singapore. Throughout all these years he continues to wear the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet.

I’m sharing this with you because Guru Lama, after long contemplation, which started early this year, has decided to make this amulet available to the public. The Vajrapani Ruel is almost running out, meaning there are only a few pieces left, and Guru Lama felt that in these uncertain times, especially with the extreme financial stability or volatility, we can all use some help from this powerful amulet called Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet. It is placed in a metal case, not just for its durability and protection but according to the Tantric Buddhist Scripture book where Guru Lama got the instructions for this amulet, it has to be placed in cylindrical metal case to symbolize continuity and stability.

Like any other amulets, the stipulated donation for this amulet will go to the feeding of the monks, building of temples, or making an image of a Buddha or a Bodhisattva. To understand further on acquiring an amulet, I suggest you read the post – The Evolution of Acquiring An Amulet.

The Four Heavenly Kings: Getting to Know Four Powerful Buddhist Gods that Helps Bestow Wealth, Success, Peace, and Protection.

Published Agosto 30, 2017 by jptan2012

Today is a very good day and an exciting day (please note that actual writing and date of posting are usually different from each other) for me and in a way for my regular readers and believers of Feng Shui and Buddhism it should be a good day for you also, because today is the day I was told by my Guru Lama to share with you about the Four Heavenly Kings.four heavenly kings

The Four Heavenly Kings has been featured in numerous Buddhist Sutras, one of which is in The Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva; Earth Store Bodhisattva is also known as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva or Di Zhang Pu Sa. In this particular sutra, Sakyamuni Buddha (The Historical Buddha) directly addressed the Four Heavenly Kings to help propagate the Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva. They were also prominently mentioned in the highly revered Golden Light Sutra.

It is said that those who recite the Golden Light Sutra will be protected by the Four Heavenly Kings themselves. Furthermore, those who recite and keep the Lotus Sutra will also be protected by the Four Heavenly Kings.

From this we can see that the Four Heavenly Kings are powerful protector Buddhist gods, however, as you read on you will that they don’t only protect us but they each also have a specific function which is different from each other.

At this point, I would like to clarify that the Four Heavenly Kings are gods in the Buddhist pantheon; it means they are not yet Bodhisattvas or Buddhas, and they serve the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas.

Again, The Four Heavenly Kings are Buddhist gods, each of who watches over their assigned cardinal direction of the world. The cardinal directions are East, West, North, and South. In Chinese they are originally known or called as “Fēng Tiáo Yǔ Shùn” (風調雨順), which literally translates to “Good climate”, but in the translation in the Chinese version of sutras they are called “Sì Dà Tiānwáng” (四大天王) which means “Four Great Heavenly Kings”.four heavenly kings 2

In most Chinese Buddhist Temples, one will normally see the THE HEAVENLY KINGS HALL. This is usually one of the first most majestic halls one will see.

The Four Heavenly Kings resides in Mt. Sumeru, a celestial and cosmic mountain where the heavens are. They are also the protector of the world and they fight evil, each of the 4 Heavenly Kings are able to command a legion of supernatural creatures to protect the Dharma or people who follow the Dharma.

Each of the Four Heavenly Kings serves Sakra, the of the devas (gods) of the Trayastrimsha Heaven. In Buddhism there are many heavens, and the Tranyastrimsha Heaven is the heaven nearest to our world, which is called Jambvudpiva is Buddhist sutras.

Although they are more commonly called as the Four Heavenly Kings, each one of them has a name and their specific directions and functions. Allow me to introduce to you the Four Heavenly Kings:

VAISRAVANA (He Who Hears Everything)Vaisravana.

  • Is the chief of the Four Heavenly Kings and is the main protector of the cardinal direction North. He is sometimes likened to Bodhisattva Kuan Yin (also spelled or called as Quan Yin, Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Quan Shi Yin, Avalokitesvara, Kannon, Chenrezig, Bodhisattva of Compassion, Goddess of Mercy) whose literal translation is THE WHO HEAR THE CRIES OF THE WORLD.
  • Vaisravana is also known as Kubera, Namtose (Namthose), Vessavana, Thao Kuwen, Wetsawan, Wetsuwan, Wéthawún Nat Min, Duō Wén Tiānwáng.
  • Vaisravana is the rule of water or rain, which is also the element that represents wealth or money. The umbrella or the pagoda are his symbolic weapons. Vaisravana is considered as a very powerful god of wealth.
  • In fact, Vaisravana rules over the famous gods of weatlh, which are the Five Dzambhalas (also spelled as Dzambhala, Dzambala, Jambala, Jambhala, Zambhala, Zambala) namely Red Dzambhala, Yellow Dzambhala, White Dzambhala, Black or Blue Dzambhala, and Green Dzambhala. He rules over the Dzambhalas amongst other Yaksha (also spelled as Yaksa) which are generals of the heavenly realm.
  • Vaisravana is often associated with the colors yellow and green.
  • Symbols of Vaisravana: Umbrella, Stupa, Pagoda, Mongoose
  • Cardinal Direction: North

VIRUDHAKA (He Who Causes To Grow)Virudhaka

  • Is the king of the South. He is the ruler of the wind. And is the god who helps cause good growth of roots or crops.
  • His symbolic weapon is the sword, which he carries in his right hand to protect the Dharma and also to symbolize power over ignorance.
  • Virudhaka is also known as Virūḷhaka, Thao Wirunhok, Virúlaka Nat Min, Zēng Zhǎng Tiānwáng, Zōchō-ten, Jeungjang-cheonwang,
  • Virudhaka rules over Kumbhanda, which are a group of dwarfish spirits and is considered as one of the lesser deities in Buddhism.
  • Virudhaka is often associated with the color blue.
  • Symbol of Virudhaka: Sword
  • Cardinal Direction: South

DHRTARASTRA (He Who Upholds the Realm)Dhrtarastra

  • Is the king that rules over East. He is also considered as the God of Music.
  • His symbolic weapon is a stringed instrument called pipa.
  • It is said that Dhrtarastra uses music to convert all sentient beings to Buddhism. While all of the Four Heavenly Kings are harmonious and compassionate, Dhrtarastra is considered to be a god that helps promotes harmony and compassion.
  • Dhrtarastra is also known as Dhrutharashṭa, Thao Thatarot, Daddáratá Nat Min, Chí Guó Tiānwáng, Jikoku-ten, Jiguk-cheonwang, Yülkhorsung.
  • Dhrtarastra rule over the gandharvas, which are male nature spirits that has superb heavenly and celestial musical skills. They are part animal usually a bird or a horse, and acts as messenger between gods and humans.
  • Dhrtarastra are often associated with the color white.
  • Symbol of Dhrtarastra: Pipa
  • Cardinal Direction: East.

VIRUPAKSA ( He Who Sees All)Virupaksa

  • Is the king that rules over the West. He is considered as the one who sees everything that happens in the Dharma world.
  • His symbolic weapons are snake or a red cord that is representative of a dragon.
  • It is said the Virupaksa watches over us in the sky, and that when we solemnly call on him in time of danger, he will guard and protect us. And if you are not Buddhist and for some reason knows a lot of Buddhism, it is said that it Virupaksa is the one who feeds you these informations.
  • Virupaksa is also known as Virūpakkha, Virūpaksha, Thao Wirupak, Virúpekka Nat Min, Guăng Mù Tiānwáng, Kōmoku-ten, Gwangmok-cheonwang,
  • Virupaksa rules over the Nagas, which is a deity that has taken the form of a very great snake.
  • Virupaksa is often associated with the color red.
  • Symbols of Virupaksa: Snake, Stupa, Pearl.
  • Cardinal Direction: West

According to Guru Lama praying to the Four Heavenly Kings will provide us with wealth and prosperity (thru King Vaisravana), success and progress (thru King Virudhaka), peace and harmony (thru King Dhrtarastra) and, good health and protection from danger (thru King Virupaksa). Placing their images at home also serves as one of the most powerful protection amulet one can have.

Guru Lama shares with me a story about how when he was assigned by the Dalai Lama to leave Dharamsala, India to help spread Buddhism and build temple in other parts of Asia, he has personally tapped into the blessings and power of the Four Heavenly Kings.

That was a few decades ago and when he left India, he was only given small amount money to travel and spread the Dharma and eventually build a temple. Guru Lama said he was a little apprehensive because a few years back they just left Tibet because of Chinese oppression, and when he was asked to leave again to spread the Dharma, he was apprehensive and really nervous even though he was excited and felt honored to be entrusted with the task of spreading the Dharma.

A few months before leaving India, he started preparing himself physically and mentally to this overwhelming task. He would always meditate on the teaching of the different sutras and would always draw strength from Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (aka Kuan Yin, Quan Yin, Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Quan Shi Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Chenrezig, Kannon) and Bodhisattva Vajrapani. One night in his sleep he received a vision that Vajrapani Bodhisattva visited him and that he was shown the images of the Four Heavenly Kings. Upon waking up he knew then that he would need the help of the Four Heavenly Kings to help progress in his endeavor.

This totally make sense, because if you go back to the description of the Four Heavenly Kings, he will need wealth and prosperity to help build a temple, success and progress so that people will see the good side of what he was about to do, peace and harmony so that he can transmute that feeling to the people around him, good health for this overwhelming task, and protection to ensure that he doesn’t come to harm’s way in spreading the Dharma.

And so my Guru Lama started worshipping and praising the Four Heavenly Kings by making offerings to them and by chanting the mantras of the Four Heavenly Kings. He also vigorously recited The Golden Light Sutra, and The Lotus Sutra (full title is called “Sūtra on the White Lotus of the Sublime Dharma”). And the rest is history. According to Guru Lama he was able to become an instrument into building a temple and building a Sangha (Buddhist community) with relative ease. Money for the temple just kept on pouring in.

Note: To this day Guru Lama still actively participate in building temples. The stipulated donation from the amulets goes to the feeding of the monks or building temples or making of images of Buddhas or Bodhisattvas.

And so today, again for the first time, I want to share with you a powerful mantra that will help you attract wealth and prosperity, success and progress, peace and harmony, lastly, good health and protection, you can recite the mantras of each of the Four Heavenly Kings.

Here are the mantras of each of the Four Heavenly Kings:

  1. For Wealth and Prosperity recite the Mantra of King Vaisravana: OM VAISRAVANA YE SOHA
  2. For Success and Progress in Life recite the Mantra of King Virudhaka: OM VIRUDHAKA KUMBHANDADHIPATA YE SOHA
  3. For Peace and Harmony recite the Mantra of King Dhrtarastra: OM DHRTARASTRA RALAPRAVADHAHA SOHA
  4. For Good Health and Protection recite the Mantra of King Virupaksa: OM VIRUPAKSA NAGA DHIPATA YE SOHA

2017 Year of the Fire Rooster Feng Shui Forecast Base on Bazi, Flying Star, and 24 Mountain Stars Formula: A Balance Chart But A Conflicting Year (Part 2)

Published Disyembre 27, 2016 by jptan2012

In my preceding post, which happens to be the first part of this post – 2017 YEAR OF THE FIRE ROOSTER FENG SHUI FORECAST BASED ON THE BAZI, FLYING STAR, AND 24 MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA: A BALANCED CHART BUT A CONFLICTING YEAR (PART 1) -I talked about what the year’s Bazi has in store for us. There I talked about how power will play an important role for all of us this year, and how it is quite likely that there is a manmade catastrophe that will happen on the 2nd half of the year. This is quite bothersome on my part because in the previous years, the analysis on the charts has been almost accurate. This started with the Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) to the Nepal Earthquake, and lastly to the financial instability that we are experiencing at the moment. And so if the analysis of the chart is correct again, what may happen may be something big and will be most likely in a political sense.

At any rate, allow me to share with you now the analysis base on the Flying Star Formula and 24 Mountain Stars Formula.2017-flying-star

THE CENTER HAS THE #1 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE VICTORY STAR.

This means that the ruling star of the year is a good star or positive star or White Star. This is quite auspicious because this will in some way temper the challenging Bazi chart (Paht Chee chart) of the year, especially at the beginning to the year. As mentioned the beginning of the year may prove to be quite difficult for people who wants or have some projects to take off, but also towards the 2nd half of the year shows a lot of conflicts on the chart that it may affect a lot of us either personally and professionally and even financially. Although, technically the year proves to have a lot of money making opportunities but this may be hindered by year’s conflicting energies. For those who have a very good center in their houses or office will prove to be more successful. This also means the China might become more powerful this year.

Effects:

This star brings luck to your endeavors. It helps ensure your success. This year the White Victory Star also ensures that people whose bedroom or office is in the center will have wondrous victory luck.

Feng Shui Enhancers:

Put in your bedroom / office or carry or wear one of the following images – Victory Banner, Lung – Ta or Wind Horse, Kuan Kong, or Vajrapani Ruel or Surangama Mantra Amulet.

Note: That if the center of your house or office is a stockroom or washroom /comfort room/ rest room this is really bad and you should try to avoid using that room.

kuan kong 2

Kuan Kong (Guan Gong, Guan Yu, Sangharama Bodhisattva)

THE EAST HAS THE #8 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE WEATLH STAR BUT IT ALSO HAS THE THREE KILLINGS OF THE 24 MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA

Effects:

This star is a very good star. It gives you abundance and to some a ‘bottomless’ pocket filled with money. This star is not just about money wealth but this is also for over – all abundance.

Feng Shui Enhancers:

Faux gold Coins or Bars or Ingots should be place on this sector. Wear an image of a Wealth Deity like the Maitreya Buddha, Kuan Kong, Bodhisattva Earth Store (Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha) or Sun Wukong.

24 Mountains:

This year the Three Killings also found its way to the EAST, Unlike the Tai Suey or the Five Yellow Star, which we must avoid, the 3 – Killings is something that we must confront. Meaning, the best way to deal with it is to face the Three Killings and not turn our back against it. If the 3 Killings is not confronted then it can wreak three kinds of misfortunes to a person. The three misfortunes are accident, financial loss, and illness.

So a good way of dealing with the Three Killings is to place the image of the Three Celestial Guardians or images of three different Buddha, Bodhisattva, Deity or Immortal in the East section of the room, house, office, and building. Those who are staying in the East section of their house, office, building, or room must wear an image of the Three Celestial Guardians or images of three different Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or Deities or Immortals.

The Three Celestial Guardians are the Fu Dog, Chi Lin (also spelled as Qi Lin or Chilin or Chi Lin) and Piyao (also spelled or called Pi Yao, Pi Xiu, Pixiu).

3-celestial-guardians

Three Celestial Guardinas consists of the Fu Dog, Pi Yao (Piyao), and Chi Lin (Chilin).

THE SOUTHEAST HAS THE #9 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE MULTIPLYING AND FUTURE PROSPERTIY STAR.

Effects:

Technically speaking, this is neither a good or bad star. The power of this star is to let you reap whatever you sow. This star basically multiplies whatever karma you accumulate. If you do more good things you’ll have more good luck in the future, but if you continue to do a lot of bad things, you multiply your negative karma as well.

Feng Shui Cure:

Two years ago, I didn’t put any enhancer or cure recommendations because I want people to be more conscious about what they do. However, a reader told me that there are times that we simply, without intending to be bad, create some things that earn us negative karma. For this I highly recommend either the image of the Medicine Buddha or the symbolic script of the mantra OM AH HUM or OM HANU PASHA BARA HE YE SOHA both of which are on the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT. For those who don’t have the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant, you can simply chant the mantras mentioned above or wear the Surangama Mantra Amulet or Vajrapani Ruel.

24 Mountain Stars:

However, the SouthEast has the Yearly Killing Star.

If your bedroom or office is in the SouthEast of the building or house, I suggest that you put a Prayer Wheel. And if the entrance of your house or office is in the Southeast or if the entrance is in the Southeast, I strongly suggest that you carry or wear a Prayer Wheel or wear an image of a Bodhisattva such as Kuan Yin Bodhisattva or Earth Store Bodhisattva made of gold.

Nevertheless, you also have the Small Auspicious Star and this should prove to be a small luck that may make a difference by counteracting the negative effects of the Yearly Killing Star, especially if coupled with an image of Bodhisattva made of gold worn as a pendant.

Prayer wheel solar

A solar prayer wheel is a prayer wheel that spins on its own with the use of solar energy.

THE SOUTH HAS THE VERY DREADED #5 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE 5 – YELLOW STAR OR WU WANG.

Feng Shui practitioners all know that this is the most dreadful star amongst all the 4 bad flying stars. In fact, sometimes it doesn’t matter whether you’re lucky base on your Bazi chart, if you are afflicted with this you are going to face a very challenging year. This year, the Wu Wang is ever more dreadful because it lands on the South sector, maybe not as dreadful as when it landed in the Northeast on 2016 but still it is more dreadful than usual. That is because the South is ruled by the fire element, which produces earth thus making the Wu Wang, an earth element even stronger or powerful. So the effects may be doubled. If you stay (office, room) in this sector or if your house faces this sector or if you are born in the year of the Horse, it’s IMPERATIVE that you deal with this star. If you are on a budget and there is only one thing that you can deal with this year, deal with this. I cannot stress enough the importance of dealing with this.

Effects:

The 5 – Yellow Star is the worst of all negative stars! It’s the most dreaded star. It is said to bring 5 different kinds of misfortunes!

And as mentioned this year the Wu Wang is much stronger.

Feng Shui Cure:

AGAIN! AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE MOVE OUT FROM THIS SECTION OR DON’T USE THIS SECTION. If that is not possible, you can also use the Five Element Pagoda (5 – Element Pagoda), and the Kalachakra made of gold. But I only recommended this as a secondary option. There is going to be a slight difference on how you use the Five Element Pagoda. First, make sure you are using a new one, take away the old ones and get a new one. Make sure also that it is something that can be opened (please see image below). Inside the top opening, instead of putting a soil, put a crystal. In that case you will still have use an earth element but with a very positive chi. Then at the bottom opening, you have to put three to five powerful amulets or mantras or sutras. I strongly recommend the following:

Please note that you should have at least have 2 of the first three suggestions.

For people who stays in this section of the house or building and if you can’t move out of this sector, it is very important that you wear either the Kalachakra (gold, jade or clear quartz) and the Five Element Pagoda (strictly in gold) and also carry with you at least 3 of the mentions amulets that has to be placed inside the Five Element Pagoda. Furthermore, people born in the year of the Horse should also ensure that they wear either the Five Element Pagoda (gold) and the Kalachakra (gold, crystal quartz, jade) and carry the above-mentioned amulets. The logic of this advice will be explained on the forecast for the Horse.

Admittedly, the 5 – Element Pagoda and the Kalachakra pendants can be hard to find, especially you need to wear them in gold. For the Kalachakra pendant you can search the web to look for one, there are some online stores that sell them in gold or clear quartz or jade. It might be a little pricey though. For the Five – Element Pagoda gold pendant, unfortunately, I have been searching the web where to get this but I can only find two sources. One is thru Lillian Too’s online store.

The other one is through a private seller. I only have praises for the one sold online in Feng Shui Megamall of Lillian Too, but the only draw back is that it can be quite pricey (relatively speaking) and with the tax and shipping fee involved, it’s price is almost doubled.

I also asked my Feng Shui teacher about other alternatives for the cure against the Wu Wang, and as of now it remains to be the 5 – Element Pagoda or (secondary) the Kalachakra and nothing else.

But I’m glad that a reader from Davao has since then provided me a 5 – Element Pagoda and Kalachakra with superb craftsmanship, unlike my previous jeweler, she has also proven to be quite professional and trustworthy. Her Five Element Pagoda pendant and Kalachakra pendant both fashioned in gold which is quite important for the purpose of protection is as good as that of the ones found online but with half or only 1/5 (for the Kalachakra) of the price.

It is worth noting again that for this year the Five – Element Pagoda should include some powerful mantra or sutra amulets and instead of soil put some crystals. For those who will need to wear the Five – Element Pagoda pendant it has to be in gold and carry 3 of the mentioned powerful mantra or sutra amulets above.

It is also important to get these cures early not only because they may be quite difficult to find but also because the energies of 2017 can be felt as early as January of the western calendar.

24 Mountain Stars:

The good news for the people who stays in the South is that unlike last year with the Northeast, this year the South is flank by two small auspicious stars. If you are aptly protected from the strong Five Yellow Star, these small auspicious stars should prove to be quite useful. For people who stays in the South and for Horse born people, it is important to protect yourself from the Wu Wang then enhance this star by wearing the semi – precious stone citrine and victory banner or an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva pendant made in gold.

THE SOUTHWEST HAS THE #7 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE VIOLENT STAR WHICH IS THE 2ND MOST DREADED STAR IN THE FLYING STAR FORMULA.

Effects:

The star brings hostility and loss through robbery, theft, or even manipulation. Next to the Five Yellow Star or Wu Wang, this is one of the most dreaded stars. This year people born in the sign of the Sheep and Monkey are affected by this star and those who stays in the Southwest are also side afflicted with the dreaded #5 Flying Star also known as Five Yellow Star. But more on that on the succeeding post. This year because of it’s side affliction with the Five Yellow Star or Wu Wang, the Violent Star is made stronger also.

Feng Shui Cure:

Since this is one most the more serious star that we have to take care of, it’s important that people whose houses are facing Southwest or simply staying in the Southwest side of their house or office should have the following: Vajrapani Ruel and 5 – Element Pagoda or Kalachakra.

24 Mountain Stars:

While the Southwest is also affected by the Small Auspicious Star, it is also unfortunately side afflicted by the Wu Wang (of the Flying Star Formula) and the Yi Duo. To help counter the negative effect of this star, it is important that you put a Surangama Mantra Amulet or a Traditional Sutra Amulet on this sector. For those who stay on the Southwest, it is important for you to protect yourself from the Yi Duo by wearing a Surangama Mantra Amulet.

sutra-amulets

These are just one copy each of the very limited copies sent to me by my Guru Lama of the THE SUTRA OF THE PAST VOWS OF THE KSITIGARBHA BODHISATTVA, THE DIAMOND OF PERFECT WISDOM SUTRA and THE MEDICINE BUDDHA SUTRA. Sutras are also used as very powerful amulets, that is why you will often old Buddhist Chinese houses has a copy of the Sutra on their altar though they might not be reciting the sutra itself.

THE WEST HAS THE #3 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE ARGUMENTATIVE STAR.

Effects:

The Flying Star #3 also known, as the Argumentative Star is a star that causes relationship problem, numerous bickering, litigation problems, quarrels and problems/conflicts with people in authority. If not controlled and suppressed, this star will bring about tremendous problems with your family and officemates or business partners. It can also cause a lot of unnecessary legal issues. This star has to be suppressed.

Feng Shui Cure:

The best cures for this star are either the Ksitigarbha Fireball or the Nine – Ring Sword of Kuan Kong. The image of Kuan Kong is also a very good cure for this star. People affected by this star can wear or carry an image of the cures. The Maitreya Buddha also known as the Happy Fat Buddha is also a great help. These are what I normally recommend. But lately I noticed that another great cure for this are the Surangama Mantra Amulet and Kuan Yin with Heart Sutra Pendant. However, for this year, it is highly recommended because of the Fire Element of the Rooster, which resides in the West, might make this star a little stronger than usual. So instead of simply using the Ksitigarbha Fireball, it might help to have Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (Earth Store Bodhisattva) himself. You can place His image on this sector or for those people whose office or bedroom is in this sector should wear the image of Earth Store Bodhisattva pendant made of gold.

24 Mountain Stars:

This year the Three Killings also found its way to the EAST which is the opposition position of the West, thus making it facing the Three Killing. Unlike the Tai Suey or the Five Yellow Star, which we must avoid, the 3 – Killings is something that we must confront.

However, it should be noted that this year, the Tai Suey God is in the West. It has to be noted that Tai Suey is not part of the Flying Star or 24 Mountain Star but we need to always take this into consideration because offending the Tai Suey will create a lot of bad luck.

The Taoists, where most of how we do Feng Shui originated, believes that a certain God called Tai Suey or Tai Sui or Grand Duke in English rules a year. This year 2017, Tai Sui of the year is General Tang Jie (唐杰). However, you have to understand a little about Taoist Gods for you to be able to understand why we have to be careful in dealing with the Tai Suey.tai-sui-2017-ofss

Taoist Gods are like humans with supernatural powers. They have magical and godly powers but they may also have human temperament and they also have characters and personalities. Meaning, they can get angry with our acts, they can be disturbed and get angry with us and thus render a punishment to us, or maybe the simple act of them getting irritated with us might create some misfortune. However, they can also be appease and happy with us and render us some good blessings, or again, the simple act of the Tai Suey getting happy with us will create some good fortune.

To help ensure that Tai Suey is happy with us always carry an image of the Pi Yao or Pi Xiu. This celestial animal will help appease the Grand Duke or Tai Suey. Another image that can help manage the Tai Suey God is to carry, display or wear an image of the Wind Horse or Lung Ta. People born in the year of the Roosters and Rabbits are directly affected by the Tai Suey God (also spelled as Tai Sui, Tai Sue) regardless of where there room is, also affected are the Horse and Rat, and they should have the Piyao. Also, if your door faces Weast, or if your bedroom and office is in the West you should also put the image of the Piyao. People who are occupying the West also should wear or carry the image of the Piyao. Also one of the best protections for the Tai Suey is an image of the Goddess of the North Star or Dou Mu Yuan Jun, thus having her image is also highly advisable.

THE NORTHWEST HAS THE #2 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE ILLNESS STAR.

Effects:

As the name implies, this star causes illness and to some extent it can be fatal or terminal. This star also causes some accidents that may make you invalid for a long time if not permanently. Everybody who stays in this sector is affected.

Feng Shui Cure:

To counter the effects of this star, it is important that one constantly recite the Sutra of the Medicine Buddha and the Medicine Buddha Mantra (TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA). Secondary cure for this displaying a Wu Lou (also spelled as Wulou) or Holy Gourd and putting it at the Northwest of the house.

Last year my Guru Lama has come up with a special Illness Suppression Amulet and that is he has combined three of the most powerful anti – illness and anti – accident mantras, which he has consecrated under the Tooth Relic of Shakyamuni Buddha and included some powerful Dharma Pills.

I shall write about the Dharma Pills in my succeeding post. But basically a Dharma Pill is a special small object that is made of second-class relics of high lamas and is highly consecrated. Please note consecration is better than simply blessing it.

The mantras that are included in this Illness Suppression Amulet are the Medicine Buddha Mantra printed in a blue paper, Namgyalma Mantra and White Umbrella Goddess Mantra printed on a white paper, and Amitayus Mantra printed on a red paper. Aside from wearing this, this should definitely be in the Northwest sector of the house or office. For this year, my Guru Lama has made an enhanced ‘version’ of this amulet. I still don’t have it but will see it soon.

Illness Suppression Amulet3

The Illness Suppression Amulet or Illness Protection Amulet is a special highly consecrated amulet made by my Guru Lama as a cure for the Illness Star a star that also causes accidents. It has the energies of the Medicine Buddha, Namgyalma Buddha, Amitayus Buddha and White Umbrella Goddess. Furthermore, the small black thing you see at the bottom of the glass amulet holder is a Dharma Pill, which is made from a second – class relic of a confirmed holy lama. It also has a small amount of ash from the last Medicine Buddha holy initiation conducted by my Guru Lama, and aside from individual special consecration, the whole amulet was further consecrated under the Tooth Relic of Shakyamuni Buddha.

24 Mountain Stars:

The Illness Star in this sector is further strengthened by the Yin Chia Xing star of the 24 Mountain Stars; this is a star that will definitely make the Illness Star stronger. To help counter this star, it is quite important for one to have the Traditional Sutra Amulet on this sector. If you stay in this sector also it is important to have a Traditional Sutra Amulet (small size) in your body or a Vajrapani Ruel or a Surangama Mantra Amulet.

The good news is that this sector also has two Golden Deity stars of the 24 Mountain Stars formula. This is one of the most auspicious stars one can have, and it should help to counter the effects of the Illness Star and the Yin Chia Xing. To activate this star, it will be very well to invite a golden image of a Buddha or a Bodhisattva or a Deity or Taoist God. However, my suggestion is since Earth Store Bodhisattva is an image that plays a very important role this year.

THE NORTH HAS THE #6 FLYING ALSO KNOWN AS THE HEAVEN’S BLESSING AND MENTOR STAR.

Effects:

This star helps set the ‘tone’ of the year for people whose office, or room is in the North side of the house or building. Meaning, if you continuously do more good the more blessed you’re going to be. This also means that if you’re Chinese Animal Zodiac is not so good, you will have help from Heaven (Buddha, Bodhisattvas, Deities, Immortals, or Saints). This also means that you’ll be lucky enough to have people who will help you achieve your goal.

Feng Shui Enhancers:

In your room or office put some crystal ball or 6 White Jade tied with a red string. People who are staying in this sector and people born in the year of the Rat will do well if they invite an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deity or Immortal by wearing their image as a pendant. I personally suggest one of the following: Kuan Kong, Avalokitesvara aka Kuan Yin, Maitreya Buddha aka Happy Fat Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Yellow Dzambhala, Green Tara and Earth Store Bodhisattva.

The #6 Flying Star is a star ruled by the metal element and North is ruled by the water element. If it is the other way around their relationship would have been on a productive cycle, however, at this state they are on a exhaustive cycle, so it means it may weaken this star, so it is quite important to enhance this star by putting any of the above recommendations that is made of metal.

24 MOUNTAIN STAR:

The good news this sector is further strengthened by the Big Auspicious star. However, there is also the Annual Conflict star, which may dampen the effects of the good star. You can remedy this by placing a Vajrapani Ruel or a Traditional Sutra Amulet on this sector of the house or building or bedroom or office.

THE NORTHEAST HAS THE #4 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE ROMANCE AND SCHOLASTIC STAR.

If the Northeast was the worst sector in 2016, it is now one of the best sectors despite of a presence of a strong negative star from the 24 Mountain Star formulas.

Effects:

Romance luck is heightened if your room is on this side of the house. For single people, you might have the possibility of finding love. For partnered people, you might find your love getting more ‘fragrant’. However, for married couple the effect might be two fold. First, you might find yourself loving each other more deeply, but there might also be the possibility of a third party getting involved. It is also called Scholastic Star because it also has a good effect on the scholastic pursuits of a person. Meaning, students may become more studious, and professionals might find that it’s easier to understand documents.

Feng Shui Enhancer:

For single person you can put a Rose Quartz Mandarin Ducks on your bedside. For married couple, you can hang the Double Happiness on your headboard. To safeguard yourself from a third party, tie an Amethyst Geode with Red String on the foot of your bed or ask your partner to wear a gold image of Kuan Kong. You can also use the power of Green Tara to ensure that this star works for the positive only. For those single people hoping to find love, you can also wear a Surangama Mantra Amulet or gold Kuan Yin Bodhisattva (also called or spelled as Avalokitesvara, Kannon, Guan Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Kuan Shi Yin) pendant.

24 MOUNTAIN STARS:

While this sector also has the Robbery star, a star that has to be taken seriously because robbery here doesn’t only mean physical / material robbery but also as well as ideas, businesses, or more importantly the greater possibility of having a third party for those who are married or attached who stays in this sector. For those who are in business this may means losing some business opportunities. Nevertheless, it is quite to remedy this, one simply has to put a Vajrapani Ruel or a Traditional Sutra Amulet in the said sector of their office and/or house.

But the good news is that this sector also houses two very auspicious stars, and that is the Big Auspicious star that will surely bring a lot of good things, but also it has the Earth Seal, and this star is one of the most besotted star. For this year, where one needs strong power to really be able to tap into once wealth luck the Earth Seal will show that it gives you a boost of power. However, like in any other years where the Earth Seal appears, this is a star that needs to be activated. One can do this by putting more crystals, especially Citrine on this sector. Also one very powerful way, if this sector is not a bedroom or bathroom or a toilet, putting an image of the Earth Store Bodhisattva (also known as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva) made of metal is a very powerful image to use to boost the full potential of the Earth Seal.

The Forecasted Financial Crisis of 2016 And What We Can Do About It!

Published Oktubre 3, 2016 by jptan2012

Late last year I made some predictions base on the analysis of the year’s (2016) Bazi Chart / Paht Chee Chart. One of the more significant predictions that I had was when I said that we might experience some financial crisis or the start of a financial crisis. The truth, I made another prediction but I would rather not discuss the other one because of it may be deemed controversial but I did write about it.

Anyway, as I said I mentioned in that forecasted financial crisis seems to be happening now. Stock is it at lowest in 7 years, with the longest streak of fall in recent history. On top of that, foreign investors or businesses are already pulling out with the President of Europe Chamber of Commerce saying that they are already pulling out of the country. Add to that that for the longest time the dollar has hit above Php 49.00 again.

Is there a reason for worry? As of now, I don’t think we should go on a panic, it definitely won’t do anything. Let’s still put our hope and trust on the government and believe that they know what they are doing. Nevertheless, it is wise to exercise prudence in spending money and also in making investments.

Feng Shui wise wearing the 9 – Eyed DZI Bead with Citrine and Pi Xiu (Pi Yao, Piyao, Pixiu, Pi Xie, Pixie) is essential. Also, displaying the 3 – Legged Toads might help.

To help deflect or minimize the effect of energy of financial problem, it is highly recommended that you carry the following Buddhist items or symbols or images that serves as an amulet – Vajrapani Ruel and / or the Kalachakra Pendant made in Gold. To gain more wisdom in managing things, especially financial matters, and to put you ahead of possible hostile competitors, wearing the image of Sakyamuni Buddha (also spelled as Shakyamuni Buddha) is highly recommended.

Chanting the following mantras are also highly recommended:

  • OM MUNI MUNI MAHA MUNI YE SOHA
  • OM MANI PADME HUM
  • OM VAJRAPANI HUM
  • OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT

Furthermore, wearing the image of Bodhisattva Sangharama or other Wealth Deity Yellow Dzambhala is also highly recommended. But for this type of financial crisis, I believe one of the most effective wealth enhancing deity is Ji Gong, though not very famous wealth god called Ji Gong or Che Kong (濟公). Also spelled as Ji Kong or Che Gong. which I have written about a few years ago. You can click here to know more about him.

At the end of the day, I rally that we support the positive things that the government is doing. Realize that the government’s success should be our success also. However, we should also exercise wisdom, after all, the government is run by people who like us may be prone to errors also. So let us support but we should also let our voice be heard if you think the government is pursuing the wrong path. But in voicing our belief, first we must truly seek to understand where the government is coming from and never ever be divisive. We can have different opinions but remain in harmony.

And for a more universal cure to this concern, let us always light an incense and recite the following sutras for our government and for our world:

Chant – A – Mantra (3g): Daily Mantras to Chant – Wealth Luck, Financial Luck, and Money Luck Granting Mantras!

Published Hulyo 25, 2016 by jptan2012

Today, I would like to further share with you some more mantras that I chant daily. With this one, I would like to focus on one of the major concern of more people, and that is to increase their wealth luck, or financial luck, or money luck.

Although not included here, because I have previously written about it already in this series, it should be noted that chanting the Mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani – OM VAJRAPANI HUM – is also a very good wealth, money and financial luck enhancement mantra. Even not really about chanting mantras, a lot of my readers who has acquired the Vajrapani Ruel has experienced wonderful miraculous stories that totally boost their financial, wealth or money luck.

Chanting the mantra of Vajrapani Bodhisattva and the following mantras will help enhance your wealth luck or financial luck or money luck:

OM TARE TUTTARE TURE DANAM ME DADA SOHA (Mantra of the Wealth Granting Tara) – Wealth Granting Tara is another manifestation of Goddess Tara, chanting her mantra will help grant you showers of financial blessing.

wealth granting tara

WEALTH GRANTING TARA is not a very popular but very powerful manifestaion of GODDESS TARA. There are very few images of the WEALTH GRANTING TARA in the market or on the net. So far, one of the best rendition is that of Lillian Too’s WEALTH GRANTING TARA, which is available in WOFS or World of Feng Shui.

OM SHRI VASUDHARA RATNA NIDHANA KASHETRI SOHA (Mantra of Goddess Vasudhara) – Goddess Vasudhara is another manifestation of the Goddess Tara. According to the sutra, a generous and compassionate man who needs wealth to help the poor, requested the then human Shakyamuni Buddha (Sakyamuni Buddha) for financial abundance. The Historical Buddha, Shakyamuni, then gave him the mantra of Goddess Vasudhara. But more than the material abundance, chanting this mantra will help attain spiritual growth as well.VASUDHARA-TIBETAN-PROSPERITY-DEITY-BUDDHIST-TANGKA-THANGKA-PAINTING-3

OM PADMO KRODA ARYA DZAMBHALA HRIH DAYA HUM PHAT (Mantra of White Dzambhala) – There are different Dzambhala’s, (also spelled as Zambala, or Jambala), there is red, yellow, black, green and also white. I have talked about the Yellow Dzambhala. Like the mantra of the Yellow Dzambhala, chanting the mantra of the White Dzambhala will help enhance your wealth luck and give you material abundance.white dzambhala
