The 2015 Year of the Wood Sheep (also called as Goat or rarely Lamb) doesn’t usher in until Feb. 19, 2015, but as early as now people are already clamoring for a forecast. So here is the first part of my analysis base on the year bazi or paht chee, flying stars and 24 mountain stars formula.

The bazi or Paht Chee of the year of the Wood Sheep (2015) is a balanced chart, meaning it has all the 5 elements: wood (3), earth (2), water (1), metal (1), and fire (1).

This is the first of three series.

Let us focus on the Wood element first because it has the highest number of appearance on the chart that is not counting the hidden elements. Wood, represents wealth this year, and I’m really happy that the number 3 is just perfect because would it have been 4 and 5 it might mean that we will all be aspiring for wealth that is totally unattainable, so 3 is just right. Having said this, it is clear that 2015 Year of the Wood Sheep presents a lot of wealth luck potential for all of us. Unlike in 2014 Year of the Wood Horse, wherein wealth is largely concentrated on the first half of the year; this year’s wealth luck is spread throughout the year. However, much of our wealth and resources luck has been depleted this year, it might take us awhile to actually feel the wealth potential of 2015. It has to go through some sort of regeneration. This only mean that the last half of the year is going to be better than the first half, or at most we will start to feel the wealth luck by the 4th lunar month of the 2015 Year of the Wood Sheep. The hidden element shows two more fire, and again this serves to contribute to our wealth luck, what does this mean, even if you don’t have a clear way of making money, if you just work hard you’re sure to get it. Kuan KongTo further enhance this wealth luck you can invite the image of Kuan Kong or Sun Wukong or Maitreya Buddha (Happy Buddha) to your home, wearing their images, as a pendant is also really good. Aside from their images you can also wear either a pendant of the three – legged toad.

Next we have two earth elements, again not counting the hidden elements, and for this year the earth element represents resources. Again, as you can see this is a very good sign because this shows that we won’t lack for personal and professional resources. This totally makes sense because resources will also lead us to wealth luck, but this also mean that even if we only a small share of resources it will still lead to great wealth. As you can see the coming year, as shown on its bazi or Paht Chee chart is showing a lot of potential for us. The hidden element shows 2 more earth elements, and this translate in the fact that when one humble oneself, and one perseveres, one will surely find the resources that they need. To enhance this year’s earth element so that you can fully tap into the luck that it brings, it is also advisable to wear any kind of gemstone. One will do and because I believe that all of us regardless of your Basket of Elements should have a jade, then let it be jade.

I'm a firm believer that everybody should have at least one jade. That is regardless of your animal sign and basket of elements.

I’m a firm believer that everybody should have at least one jade. That is regardless of your animal sign and basket of elements.

If you’re familiar with Bazi or Paht Chee reading and with the relationships of the elements, you’ll notice that there is destructive pillar in the chart. I’m referring to the Wood element and the Earth element. This might mean that there might be significantly destructive earthquakes happening next year, especially in the first half of the year. Or it could also mean any kind of calamity that has something to do with earth or agriculture. It could also mean potential landslides brought about the storm. Again, what I write here are not fortunetelling, these are base on calculations from the year’s Bazi and my own analysis. A lot of human factor is involved so I can be wrong. For example, although, as pointed out by a reader, I was able to accurately ‘predicted’ (for the lack of word) the Yolanda (Typhoon Haiyan) crisis last 2013 down to the point as to where it might happen, I was not able to accurately analyze that there is going to be another Super Typhoon hitting the Philippines this 2014. Although, I did say that while this year is going to be really warm, strong rains is also going to happen. While my analysis was correct, I was not able to predict the Super Typhoon Ruby or Hagupit. But in hindsight, it should have been obvious but human factor; specifically my emotions disrupted the process in having a very good analysis because my emotions and mind is unable to conceive of another super typhoon hitting us.

Going back to the analysis, it should be mentioned that this destructive pillar also needs to symbolically happen because in Taoism wood destroying earth means there is a release of wealth that’s going to transpire. Figuratively, it needs to be released from its hiding place, which is believed to be deep with the earth or mountains. So again this destructive pillar is another indication that wealth luck is going to be good. And again, wood represents wealth this year, and it shows that wood is destroying earth, so again it means that if you use your resources wealth is going to come. If the destructive earthquake should happen, there is a possibility that it will happen in a part of the world where it is mountainous, because as I said it has to ‘release’ the wealth from the mountain, and there is also a possibility of it happening in Asia. That’s another good analysis of the chart but obviously we have to go through some cathartic process.

There is one element of water in the chart, and the hidden element shows no other water. Water, which represents intelligence in the 2015 Year of the Wood Sheep, simply shows that this year once intelligence is not going to be the main factor in attaining success and luck this year.

There is also one metal element found in the chart. And again this is good news because this year the metal element represents either friends or foe, it represents the self – element of the year, and if this high it will mean that it’s going to be a very competitive year, and having a low metal element means it’s going to be a year that will make those who are friendlier and not very maliciously competitive, and whose approach are not aggressive more successful. This shouldn’t be confused on the fact that this is going to be peaceful friendly year, because this year’s flying chart is ruled by #3 star, a star that shows that there will be a lot of fighting and quarrelling, this is not contradictory with each other, but more on this later.

Lastly, there is a single fire element, which is enhanced by 2 hidden fire elements, which indicates power and authority. This is good because this means that those in power or those who have authority will tend to be more helpful towards who don’t have it, but more than that, all of us will enjoy some sort of power and authority. The difference will come on how we use it. This means all of us will have some kind of leverage.

Earlier on this post, I mentioned of the destructive pillars. But the good news is there are also productive pillars. I will not go into details what are these hidden elements but I would like to state that this would manifest in enabling stability. This will manifest more in one’s career and social position.

And here’s another piece of good news for this year, this year we also have the Star of the Powerful Mentors and this manifest in the form of elderly or influential people extending help. To attract and enhance the Star of Powerful Mentor, it is beneficial to wear an image either of Amitabha Buddha, Kuan Kong/Sangharama Bodhisattva or Lu Dongbin.

Unfortunately, also base on the flying star, the year ruled by the #3 flying star that is also known as the Argumentative Star. This star brings about a lot of fighting and arguments. There will be possible lawsuits and to top it off, there might be violence brought about this star. To subdue this star, all of us must wear either the image of Kuan Kong or Ksitigarbha’s Fireball. However, to continue to protect oneself from the peripheral effect of this star, one can wear a Kalachakra made of gold or jade. Lastly, it is not enough to subdue and protect oneself from the peripheral effects of this star, it is also important to create harmony, and we can do this by wearing an image of Kuan Yin while carrying the Heart Sutra. If you can get the Kuan Yin with the Heart Sutra at the back, all the better. For those who have the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, all you need is to get an image of Kuan Yin, because the pendant already has the image of Kuan Kong and the Kalachakra. I consider Kuan Yin, Kuan Kong, and the Kalachakra as the holy trinity of protection of the year.

Front side of my Kuan Yin Pendant. This is one of my favorite pendant because I just love that it has the Sutra at the back. Please note that this pendant is not for sale.

Back side of my Kuan Yin pendant. You can see though it's small the The The Heart of the Prajna Paramita Sutra is written behind it.

Back side of my Kuan Yin pendant. You can see though it’s small the The The Heart of the Prajna Paramita Sutra is written behind it.

An analysis of the 24 Mountain Stars also indicates a generally positive year. There are so much more positive stars than negative ones. One of these stars that are quite strong is the Big Auspicious star, and almost all animal signs is actually going to feel this star. Again, to further enhance this star is recommended that you wear an image either of Kuan Kong, Sun Wukong, Yellow Dzambhala, White Dzambhala or Maitreya Buddha.

Adopted Abandoned Dogs Are Saving Their Humans

Published Mayo 29, 2014 by jptan2012

A few days ago I wrote about how burying dead pets on your yard creates a lot of yin energy. This prompted one of my readers to email and send me an sms. She was lucky enough that I was able to read her email right away, and because I know how serious this matter is I agreed to meet her and go to her place.

MLS said that when they transferred to their new house, things started going sour with some of the things in their life. There are several things that she shared with me, but one of the major problems that they encountered is it seems that her husband’s professional life took a nose dive. She said she noticed when she moved to their house and when they buried five puppies in their yard.

When I get to their house, the first thing I noticed is that their main house door is slanted. I call this ‘dragon door’, because if done right they have the ability to bring dragon luck, which is an enormous amount of luck into one’s life. However, this is a very tricky thing to do and I’ve never seen any modern Feng Shui consultants execute this. In fact, I personally don’t feel comfortable doing this because a slight error in measurement, it will then become a ‘yin dragon door’. This means it will bring a tremendous amount of bad luck. MLS has a dragon door, judging from how it was done, it looks like that it has become a ‘yin dragon door’ and he has 4 such doors in her house. To top it off, there are several more Feng Shui blunders that I pointed out to them. Not to mention, there are also dead puppies buried in their yard.

I don’t really remember whether I told them this, but I felt that they’re still lucky, because with so much major Feng Shui blunders in one house things could have been at its worst!

Puti, relaxing in front of the air conditioner on a very warm lazy aftenoon.

Puti, relaxing in front of the air conditioner on a very warm lazy aftenoon.

There are several possible factors why they didn’t get to feel the full effects of the major Feng Shui blunders. They may be good people and have garnered so much positive karma that even if the Feng Shui blunders in their house are so big, they weren’t that affected. But one thing I noticed is that they have two aspins or Asong Pinoy, a Filipino non-breed dog that are usually found on the streets. MLS’s family, especially her husband and children took care of the dogs when they were surely destined to have died on the street or eaten by drunkards.

The dogs are Puti and Matic and both of them are female dogs. The carpenters who were building their house when she was still a puppy bought Puti. They want to bring her up so that they can slaughter and eat her. Matic on the other hand was an abandoned dog that gave birth to her puppies on the street. AS, MLS husband then saved Matic and her puppies. Unfortunately, Matic’s puppies all died of parvo. They’re the ones who are now buried in their yard.

Adopting a pet and ensuring that they become well balanced is one sure way of wiping our negative karma or fighting off bad luck. In the case of MLS and AS, I can only imagine the good karma that they got from adopting both Puti and Matic without even thinking about karma or luck.

Puti and Matic are now indoors dogs and love to seat in front of the air conditioner. Also, while they used to scavenge for food, their humans now know their favorite food. According to MLS they love to eat Menudo (pork with liver stew) but are not very fond of Sinigang (Filipino hot sour soup).

AS and MLS and their children changed the lives of both Puti and Matic and now I believe just because they’re happy dogs they’re also helping their humans by giving them positive chi!

Is Working as a Call Center Agent Creating Bad Luck?

Published Mayo 12, 2014 by jptan2012

work1Today, I would like to share with you a question of a call center agent. DS is 34 years old call center agent. He’s been working as a call center agent for 7 years now and he said he noticed while his income has always been steady, the financial progress is quite limited, but worse is his personal life.

You see DS is always sick, on top of that his personal relationships has been deteriorating, his wife left him for another man, and he is left with his 2 kids who seems unable to connect with him. He was desperate so his cousin who happens to be a reader who became my friend convinced him to talk with me. His cousin then convinced me to meet up with DS.

When I met with DS, DS shared with me his woes, emphasizing that his life used to be good until he decided to join the call center industry. He said, that’s when he noticed the changes that happened to him and it was an about 2 years after it that his relationship with his wife started to go sour. He said that relationship problem is common amongst his colleagues and amongst call center agents, and they usually attribute this to the fact that they work in the evening and that they are usually dead tired when they go home in the morning, which makes it hard for them to have meaningful relationships with their partners because of the difference in working time.

What I didn’t say that while that is indeed an explanation, it doesn’t explain as to why in a research study it shows that call center agents generally find it hard to have meaningful relationships, on top of that, promiscuity tends to be higher amongst them. As a marketing consultant, I also became privy in a study that shows that the highest selling product of convenience stores located near call center offices is a condom. To top it off, and without generalizing it, one of the highest HIV infection rate is amongst the call center agents. These studies tell us something. But what is the problem?

Personally, I think it is because most call center agents work in the evening, which is generally considered Yin time. Too much exposure in the Yin energy without being counter acted by Yang time is bad for all of us. It will create a lot of problems, whether it is financial, relationships or health. I say this from experience.

Several years back, I worked as a news writer for a TV network. I used to go to work 4pm and go home at around 4:30am. I will only get to experience and exposure to yang energy for a few minutes. It will be usually be between my travels from my house to my workplace. Soon I started noticing some problems cropping up in my life, I called up my Feng Shui master and he explained I don’t have enough yang time.

What I did I was requested my superiors to move me to a better time. They did and that solved the problem. But I’m well aware that not all of us will have that luxury. So what can one do?

First, try to engage in some yang energy ‘sessions’ once a week. During your rest day do expose yourself to the sun’s yang energy. Play with kids or your pets if you have any, they exudes yang energy. Play good yang music everyday, these are music that are fun and have messages of happiness.

Wearing a pink or red (made of good quality stone) or a gold Kuan Yin pendant will greatly boost your young energy. Kuan Yin will protect you from yin energy at the same time pink, red, or gold will give off some yang energy. It will also help if you can have an image of the Medicine Buddha or it’s mantra or sutra somewhere in your body.

This is rare Kuan Yin collection carved from a pink chalcedony. While pink chalcedony and Kuan Yin images are not rare it is rare to have a Pink Chalcedony Kuan Yin. There are a lot of fake pink chalcedonys in the market. While price should not be the only basis in choosing a good pink chalcedony because it is very to price a fake one high to make it look real, it is good to take note that really cheap ones are usually fake pink chalcedony.

How to Counter the Negative Chi of A Hospital

Published Mayo 7, 2014 by jptan2012

Today, I would yet like to share with you another natural way of countering negative chi. It is almost inevitable that at one point in our life we will either be hospitalized, have a loved one who’s going to be hospitalized, or visit somebody in the hospital.

As I mentioned before the hospital is one of the most yin place one can visit, and it is extremely important that one is totally protected when we enter the hospital, either as a patient or as a visitor.Ft. Belvoir Hospital

I personally just wear my WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT and/or the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT whenever I go to the hospital. The WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT has the image of The Great Sage, Equal of Heaven Sun Wukong who is one the most powerful protector deity. The WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA pendant on the other hand has the image of the Medicine Buddha, Kuan Kong, Kalachakra, both the immediate and the negative karma cleansing mantra, which are all very powerful protector from the yin energy that a hospital emits.

However, the truth is not everyone can afford the pendants that I mentioned. But there are other ways of protecting oneself from the yin energy of the hospital without having to buy either of the pendants.

As a patient if the doctor’s recommendation is that you be confined in the hospital, ask a love to make sure to put rock salt in the 4 corners of your room and in the 4 corners of the restroom. About a teaspoon each will do. You personally, should have about a teaspoon of rock salt beside your bed and make sure that you always have flowers inside the room. Try to choose colorful ones rather than those that are quite dull in color. Having fruits in the room will also help. So having the salt and flowers and/or fruits will ensure that the yang energy of these things will counter the yin energy of the room or of the hospital.

Flowers are a great way of dispelling the negative chi or yin energy of a hospital. Furthermore, it can make a sick person feel better. (Photo lifted from Google Images)

Upon discharge, take a piece of flower with you and some salt as you leave. Throw them out on your way home, just before you get home.

If you are taking care of a love one or are visiting a loved one, try to have a small packet of rocket salt and put it in your pocket. Throw them out every time you leave the hospital and bring a new one whenever you’re going there. If possible also get a flower and throw it out just before you reach your home.

Additional piece of advice, if you can, before entering your hospital room, have a love one knock on the door first, open the door, and act as if someone is getting out of the room. This is to make sure that if there are any lingering spirits inside, they hopefully take the cue that they need to leave the room.

Learning to Love the Summer Heat!

Published Abril 7, 2014 by jptan2012

sunshineIt’s now summer in the Philippines, although it’s a weird one because of pending typhoon, no one can deny that the summer heat is already here. In fact, the heat is so bad that the water level in Angat Dam, which supplies water in the whole of Metro Manila, is threatening to dry up.

I personally don’t like summer. I’m the type of person who loves cold weather. However, whenever I remember that with the summer heat comes the summer intense sunshine and with it also comes the yang energy of the sun! This is a good time for people to tap into the power of the sun to reenergize ourselves with yang energy, especially for those who are suffering from a series of bad luck.

It’s quite simple. Simply take a walk or do outdoor exercises or yoga or simply bathe yourself with the energy of the morning sun. The best time is between 6am and 9am! While doing it, imagine yourself being cleansed with the healing energy of the sun!

This technique is so simple and best of all its free! Just make sure you don’t burn yourself too much!

2014 Year of the Wood Horse Bazi and Flying Star Feng Shui Forecast: An Imbalanced Chart that Creates an Abundance of Love War

Published Disyembre 12, 2013 by jptan2012
Image lifted from google images.

Image lifted from Google images.

Once again it’s the time of the year where I’m busy with my business, because as early as now a lot of companies are doing their annual planning for the following year. But also, I have been receiving emails and text messages asking for my annual forecast, which I started 2 years ago.

Chinese New Year this year will usher in the Wood Horse, and this will show that this year those who are able to bring their positive traits will be the one who are likely to succeed. This doesn’t mean that one has to be flamboyant about their achievement, but neither it is a year to have ‘false’ humility. A silent worker who succeeds will not be recognized, but a hard worker who is able to humbly ‘show off’ his achievements will gain recognition.

Like last year, this year my forecast will include both the Bazi or Paht Chee, and at the same time the Flying Star. As regular readers of this blog will know forecast with the use of Flying Star is not as difficult as most Feng Shui experts would want us to believe. All you have to do is remember the Flying Star number, it’s effect, find out where it’s location for the year and that’s it, you’ll already know the effect.

Let’s start off with the Flying Star forecast. Like before we’ll start off with the East sector.

THE EAST HAS THE #2 FLYING STAR CALLED ILLNESS STAR

Effects: As the name implies, this star causes illness and to some extent it can be fatal or terminal. Sometime, this star can also cause some accidents that may make you invalid for a long time if not permanently. For this year, the star directly affects people born under the year of the Rabbit, and it might create some effect also with people born under the sign of the Tiger and Dragon. Technically speaking this should no longer affect people born under the sign of the Ox. However, due to the magnetic effects of some bad stars of the 24 Mountains calculation, this star will also greatly affect people under the sign of the Ox. People whose room is in the East section of their house should also take note. Furthermore, it will affect the eldest son or the only son of a family. The Flying Star #2 is also going to affect people whose house door faces East also.

Feng Shui Cure: The primary cure for the ILLNESS STAR is the Medicine Buddha. Wear an image of the Medicine Buddha as pendant or wear the symbolic script of the mantra of the Medicine Buddha to help counter the ill effects of the said star. Chanting the mantra of the Medicine Buddha is also a great way to manage the said star. Secondary cure is Wulou (also spelled as Wu Lou) or Holy Gourd. Please note that it is considered very disrespectful if you put an image of the Medicine Buddha in your room, so in this case one can put the Holy Gourd.

THE SOUTHEAST HAS THE #3 FLYING STAR CALLED THE ARGUMENTATIVE STAR

Effects: The Flying Star #3 also known, as the Argumentative Star is a star that causes relationship problem, numerous bickering, litigation problems, quarrels and problems/conflicts with people in authority. This year it will also greatly affect people born under the signs of the dragon and horse. And people whose room or office is in the Southeast section of the building or house. Not to mention, houses whose door faces the Southeast section will also encounter problems that were mentioned.

Feng Shui Cure: The best cures for this star are either the Ksitigarbha Fireball or the Nine – Ring Sword of Kuan Kong. The image of Kuan Kong is also a very good cure for this star. People affected by this star can wear or carry an image of the cures. The Maitreya Buddha also known as the Happy Fat Buddha is also a great help.

The Ksitigarbha Fireball is a pearl on the hand of Ksitigarbha Buddha that fires up when there are negative energies.

THE SOUTH HAS THE #8 FLYING STAR CALLED WEALTH STAR BUT THE TAI SUEY ALSO GOES TO THE SOUTH SECTOR

Effects: This star is a very good star. It gives you abundance and to some a ‘bottomless’ pocket filled with money. This star is not just about money wealth but this is also for over – all abundance. This is a star ruled by the earth element that moved into a sector ruled by fire. Regular readers of this blog knows that earth is strengthen by the Fire element, and as we discussed the Paht Chee or Bazi of the year, you’ll know that we can find a strong fire element this year, so this is a star that is particularly strong this year. People born under the year of the horse, snake, and sheep will benefit from this star.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Faux gold Coins or Bars or Ingots should be place on this sector. Wear an image of a Wealth Deity like the Maitreya Buddha, Kuan Kong, or Sun Wukong.

Faux golld bars, ingots, and coins.

Faux gold bars, ingots, and coins.

Sun Wukong aka Monkey God aka Pilgrim aka 'Great Sage, Equal to Heaven' is a very powerful wealth and protector god. He is one of the few deities worshipped both in Taoism (also spelled as Daoism) and Buddhism.

Sun Wukong aka Monkey God aka Pilgrim aka ‘Great Sage, Equal to Heaven’ is a very powerful wealth and protector god. He is one of the few deities worshipped both in Taoism (also spelled as Daoism) and Buddhism.

However, it should be noted that this year, the Tai Suey God is also in the South. It has to be noted that Tai Suey is not part of the Flying Star but we need to always take this into consideration because offending the Tai Suey will create a lot of bad luck.

The Taoists, where most of how we do Feng Shui originated, believes that a certain God called Tai Suey or Tai Sui or Grand Duke in English rules a year. This year’s Tai Suey God is General Zhang Ci. However, you have to understand a little about Taoist Gods for you to be able to understand why we have to be careful in dealing with the Tai Suey.

The 2014 Tai Suey God is General Zhang Chi.

The 2014 Tai Suey God is General Zhang Chi.

Taoist Gods are like humans with supernatural powers. They have magical and godly powers but they may also have human temperament and they also have characters and personalities. Meaning, they can get angry with our acts, they can be disturbed and get angry with us and thus render a punishment to us, or maybe the simple act of them getting irritated with us might create some misfortune. However, they can also be appease and happy with us and render us some good blessings, or again, the simple act of the Tai Suey getting happy with us will create some good fortune.

To help ensure that Tai Suey is happy with us always carry an image of the Pi Yao or Pi Xiu. This celestial animal will help appease the Grand Duke or Tai Suey. Another image that can help manage the Tai Suey God is to carry, display or wear an image of the Wind Horse or Lung Ta. People born in the year of the horse and rat, who are directly afflicted by the Tai Suey and Snake and Sheep who are in side conflict and Pig / Boar and Ox who are in semi – conflict with the Tai Suey should have either the Piyao or Lung – Ta. Also, if your door faces South, or if your bedroom and office is in the South you should also put the image of the Piyao or Lung Ta or Windhorse. People who are occupying the south also should wear or carry the image of the Piyao or Lung Ta.Piyao4

THE SOUTHWEST HAS THE #1 FLYING STAR CALLED WHITE VICTORY STAR

Effects: This star brings luck to your endeavors. It helps ensure your success. This year the White Victory Star also ensures that mothers will have a ruling power over their children.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Put in your bedroom or carry or wear one of the following images – Victory Banner, Lung – Ta or Wind Horse, Kuan Kong.

The Victory Banner is considered as one of the 8 Auspicious Object in Buddhism.

The Victory Banner is considered as one of the 8 Auspicious Object in Buddhism.

Furthermore, the Southwest also has the star of Golden Deity. So having gold colored Kuan Kong or Kuan Yin or Yellow Dzambhala in this sector (unless it’s a bedroom) will enhanced the energy of the White Victory Star. Also, wearing the image of Yellow Dzambhala, or Kuan Kong or Kuan Yin in gold will also help enhance the energy of the White Victory Star.

There are several different forms or manifestations of Dzambhala (also spelled as Jambala or Dzambala). Dzambala is a Buddhism Wealth God. The one in the picture is the most common or most famous manifestation of Dzambhala which is the Yellow Dzambhala.

THE WEST HAS THE #6 FLYING STAR CALLED HEAVEN’S BLESSINGS AND MENTOR STAR

Effects: This star helps set the ‘tone’ of the year for people whose office, or room is in the West side of the house or building. Meaning, if you continuously do more good the more blessed you’re going to be. This also means that if you’re Chinese Animal Zodiac is not so good, you will have help from Heaven (Buddha, Bodhisattvas, Deities, Immortals, or Saints). This also means that you’ll be lucky enough to have people who will help you achieve your goal.

Feng Shui Enhancers: In your room or office put some crystal ball or 6 White Jade tied with a red string. People who are staying in this sector and people born in the year of the Rooster will do well if they invite an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deity or Immortal by wearing their image as a pendant. I personally suggest one of the following: Kuan Kong, Avalokitesvara aka Kuan Yin, Maitreya Buddha aka Happy Fat Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Yellow Dzambhala, Green Tara.

Goddess Tara is also known as Green Tara because of her green color.

THE NORTHWEST HAS THE #5 FLYING STAR OR THE DREADED FIVE YELLOW STAR

Effects: The 5 – Yellow Star is the worst of all negative stars! It’s the most dreaded star. It is said to bring 5 different kinds of misfortunes!

Feng Shui Cure: AGAIN! AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE MOVE OUT FROM THIS SECTION OR DON’T USE THIS SECTION. You can also use the Five Element Pagoda ( 5 – Element Pagoda ), or the Kalachakra. For people who stays in this section of the house or building and if you can’t move out of this sector, it is very important that you wear either the Kalachakra or the Five Element Pagoda. Furthermore, people born in the year of the Dog and Pig or Boar should also ensure that they wear either the Five Element Pagoda or the Kalachakra.

The Kalachakra Symbol is a powerful protection symbol. It is actually ten syllable mantra compressed into one symbol. The mantra is HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. However, it is usually chanted with OM AH HUM thus making the complete mantra as OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. It is because off this that I decided to put the symbolic script OM AH HUM on top of Kalachakra Symbol.

THE NORTH HAS THE #9 FLYING STAR CALLED THE MULTIPLYING AND FUTURE PROSPERITY STAR AND IT IS JOINED BY THE THREE KILLINGS

Effects: Technically speaking, this is neither a good or bad star. The power of this star is to let you reap whatever you sow. This star basically multiplies whatever karma you accumulate. If you do more good things you’ll have more good luck in the future, but if you continue to do a lot of bad things, you multiply your negative karma as well. The Rat is also affected by this star thus it will be good if he/she can be more conscious of the things he/she does.

Feng Shui Cure: Last year, I didn’t put any enhancer or cure recommendations because I want people to be more conscious about what they do. However, a reader told me that there are times that we simply, without intending to be bad, create some things that earn us negative karma. For this I highly recommend either the image of the Medicine Buddha or the symbolic script of the mantra OM AH HUM or OM HANU PASHA BARA HE YE SOHA both of which are on the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT.

This year the Three Killings also found its way to the North. Unlike the Tai Suey or the Five Yellow Star, which we must avoid, the 3 – Killings is something that we must confront. Meaning, the best way to deal with it is to face the Three Killings and not turn our back against it. If the 3 Killings is not confronted then it can wreak three kinds of misfortunes to a person. The three misfortunes are accident, financial loss, and illness.

Another good way of dealing with the Three Killings is to place the image of the Three Celestial Guardians or images of three different Buddha, Bodhisattva, Deity or Immortal in the North section of the room, house, office, and building. Those who are staying in the South or North section of their house, office, building, or room must wear an image of the Three Celestial Guardians or images of three different Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or Deities or Immortals.

The Three Celestial Guardians are the Fu Dog, Chi Lin (also spelled as Qi Lin or Chilin or Chi Lin) and Piyao (also spelled or called Pi Yao, Pi Xiu, Pixiu).

Three Celestial Guardinas consists of the Fu Dog, Pi Yao (Piyao), and Chi Lin (Chilin).

THE NORTHEAST HAS THE #7 FLYING STAR ALSO CALLED THE VIOLENT STAR

Effects: The star brings hostility and loss through robbery, theft, or even manipulation. This year it will greatly affect people under the sign of the ox and tiger.

Feng Shui Cure: One of the following items – Image of Sun Wukong (aka Monkey God), Image of Kuan Kong (also known as Kuan Ti, Guan Ti, Kuan Te Ya, Guan Te Ya, Guan Gong), Image Elephant with Rhinoceros. For people who are staying on this side have the house or office, or for people born under the sign of the Ox and Tiger, it is advisable to wear an image of Sun Wukong, Kuan Kong, or a Mantra Pendant. The WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT that has the image of THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN – SUN WUKONG, and the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT that has the image of Kuan Kong are also advisable.

Sun Wukong or The Great Sage Equal of Heaven (aka Monkey God, Monkey King, Victorious Fighting Buddha, Bimawen, Pilgrim) is a very powerful protector and wealth god. He is one of the few deities/buddha reverred both in Taoism and Buddhism. As far as I know this is the only Sun Wukong pendant made of real gold. Have been looking for one for quite some time because I know that Sun Wukong is both a wealth and protector god, however, I can't find any, not even in China, HK, Singapore, and Taiwan, so I decided to just make my own. If interested to get this pendant please email me at sanaakosirickylee@gmail.com .

THE CENTER HAS THE #4 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE SCHOLASTIC AND ROMANCE STAR

Effects: Romance luck is heightened if your room is on this side of the house. For single people, you might have the possibility of finding love. For partnered people, you might find your love getting more ‘fragrant’. However, for married couple the effect might be two fold. First, you might find yourself loving each other more deeply, but there might also be the possibility of a third party getting involved. It is also called Scholastic Star because it also has a good effect on the scholastic pursuits of a person. Meaning, students may become more studious, and professionals might find that it’s easier to understand documents. Since this stars goes to the center this year it affects all of us.

Feng Shui Enhancer: For single person you can put a Rose Quartz Mandarin Ducks on your bedside. For married couple, you can hang the Double Happiness on your headboard. To safeguard yourself from a third party, tie an Amethyst Geode with Red String on the foot of your bed. You can also use the power of Green Tara to ensure that this star works for the positive only.

And like before, we should take into consideration the year’s Paht Chee or Bazi. This year’s Bazi shows an imbalanced chart. There are 4 Yang Fire elements, 3 Wood elements 2 of which are Yang, and 1 Yin Metal. It’s pretty obvious that earth and water elements are missing. The good news here is that the year pillar shows a productive cycle or relationship and that is of the Wood and Fire element. This means that for this year, it is those who are aggressive that will enjoy great amount of success.

However, the relationship of the elements in the Bazi also shows that there is a tendency for people to misunderstand each other and for people to enter a lot of arguments. Thus, we might see more fighting both on a personal level and on a larger scale. The Philippines and China Scarborough problem will continue. It might even escalate.

This also means that people who are diplomatic will also tend to shine. These are the sheep, rabbit, pig or boar and dog. In fact, if you want peace in the family, bring in images of dogs and better yet get a real dog but do this only if and only if you can take care of the dog properly and that you can ensure that he or she grows up a well-rounded dog. You can also get a rabbit, but ensure that you take care of it properly also.

People whose Bazi chart shows a lack of Fire and/or high Earth elements will also do well this year. It is important to note that although the year is lacking of water element, there is no need to enhance the water element. In fact, people with high water rating on their bazi will see themselves having some problems, unless, of course this is negated by having very low or lacking personal fire element.

For this year, it is highly advisable that we should all have at least some gemstones on our body. Wearing jade, amber, and / or other precious or semi – precious stones will help enhance the positive chi of the year and serves as a protection against the negative effects of an imbalanced chart.

If there’s something that one should really worry about this year is the love energy. The love energy doesn’t always mean it’s good because while it can create romantic luck, it can also create extra marital affairs. Arguments that may lead to litigation or irrevocable fight or even war is also quite strong force this year. The best Feng Shui cures to use against these are the Kalachakra and the image of Kuan Kong. Tapping into the loving energy of the Buddha of Compassion Avalokitesvara or Kuan Yin and the healing energy of the Medicine Buddha are also powerful means to help counter the negative energy of that causes arguments.

Before I end this forecast, I would like to share that a lot of people are having some problems with the number of charms to wear and to keep track of the cures and enhancers that one has to wear to protect and enhance their Feng Shui. This is why I created, first, the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, which was followed by the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT. The WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT feature SUN WUKONG, and has the images of the Three Celestial Guardians and the Ksitigarbha Fireball and Five Element Pagoda. While the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT features Medicine Buddha, Kuan Kong, Yellow Dzambhala, the Kalachakra, Victory Banner, Lung – Ta or Wind Horse, and the symbolic scripts of the mantra OM AH HUM, the mantra of the Medicine Buddha, the Wish Fulfilling and the Karma Cleansing Mantra with the seed syllable of the Goddess Tara. I designed the pendant to make sure that I don’t have to change the pendant every year. With the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT I don’t have to worry about the annual, monthly, or even the daily Flying Star. Since writing about it a lot of people has requested for the pendant, and my only frustration about it is that it is quite pricey.

If you wish to know more about some of the things mentioned in this blog please click on the following: Kuan Yin, Yellow Dzambhala, Kuan Kong (1), Kuan Kong (2), Medicine Buddha, Sun Wukong, Piyao, Three Celestial Guardians, Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant, Wealth and Master Protection Pendant, Maitreya Buddha or Happy Fat Buddha, Goddess Tara (1), Goddess Tara (2).
