I usually get my stones when I travel or in some selected few retailers in Ongpin (Philippine’s Chinatown), they are usually the small ones from Mainland China and are not commercialized and has not come out on TV. However, even in Ongpin they sell fake. Recently though I came across an online seller who has a FB page. So far I have observed that their stones are really nice and relatively affordable. A lot of my readers who got their crystals or stones from them are quite happy with the quality that they got. You can check them out by clicking here.

Please note though that I’m in no way connected to them or know them personally.

Crystals: A Simple Way to Protect Yourself and Improve Your Luck

Published Agosto 29, 2015 by jptan2012

TumbledGemsToday, allow me to share with you another natural and simple way to protect yourself from bad energies and improve your luck. As the title suggests, I’m talking about using crystals.

Crystals are natural predominantly earth elements that carries some kind of energy or chi. I say predominantly because most crystals carry other elements, which can identified by its color. For example, an amethyst, ruby, carnelian or even rose quartz carries the energies of a fire element; malachite, jade, aventurine and other green stones carries the energies of a wood element; sapphire, lapis lazuli, sodalite, and other blue stones carries the energies of a water element; onyx, black tourmaline, and other black stones carries the energies of a water element also; citrine, yellow jasper and other yellow stones further carries the energies of the earth element; clear quartz, Herkimer diamonds, diamonds and other clear stones carries the energies of a metal element.

There are some stones that carries the element of more than one element other than the predominant earth element. Some of these stones are turquoise, which carries the energies of both water and wood; pyrite, which also carries the energies of metal and added earth element; hematite, and moonstone, which also carries the energies of the water and metal elements.

Using them is also quite easy, get them, I prefer the tumbled ones, physically clean them by wiping them with a wet cloth they dry them, then clean them of negative energies by putting them on top of a salt for 7 hours or overnight and simply put them on your pocket.

How do they work? The crystals energies will interact with your own chi creating a stronger life force and as magnet of luck.

Which crystal to use? I suggest getting one of each element, but if cost is a problem, then I suggest getting one clear quartz, one amethyst and one black stone. Some people choose to wear them as bracelets also then works as well.

Just remember to cleanse them of negative energies every 2 weeks. You do this by putting them on top of a rock salt or by lighting incense and letting the smoke ‘touch’ the crystals.

Turquoise: A Powerful Protection and Wealth Amulet (Helping Nepal and Tibet)

Published Mayo 8, 2015 by jptan2012

I’m once again TEMPORARILY BREAKING my vow to take a short blog break to write an important piece on how to help the people of Nepal and Tibet.
Nepal Earthquake
A few posts ago, I mentioned that all the Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras Amulet bought until the end of the year will go to the helping all sentient beings affected by the killer quake in Nepal and Tibet. Also, all the money from the remaining Vajrapani Ruels will also go to the people of Tibet who unfortunately because they are under China’s rule won’t be able to get as much international aid.

Today, I just want to write about another way you can send help and at the same time receive blessings. My Guru Lama has sent me several pieces of special Tibetan Turquoise. Because I’m on blog break, this Tibetan Turquoise will be made available only to people whom personally knows me. This is to help raise funds for the sentient beings of Tibet, who were also severely affected by the earthquake.

But what is a Turquoise. A Turquoise is a kind semi – precious stone that has very good protective, wisdom generating, and wealth stone. The internet is a treasure trove of information about all the wonderful energies and power or luck what can get with a turquoise so I really won’t go into detail about it. But allow me to share here, verbatim, what the website Crystal Vault has to say about the power of Turquoise.

For centuries Turquoise has been recognized as possessing the power to protect riders from injury due to falls. First used as amulets by Turkish soldiers, on their persons and attached to their bridles and trappings, it later came to be used for protection against falls of any kind. [Kunz, 109] Turquoise is also reputed to be influenced by the physical condition of the person who wears it. It is thought to grow pale when its owner is sick or sad, lose all color when the person dies, and gradually recover its color when transferred to a new healthy owner, its color deepening each day. [Fernie, 268]

Historically, Turquoise is credited with the property of securing friendly regard, verifying the traditional saying that “he, or she, who owns a Turquoise will never want for a friend.” [Fernie, 37] In the Orient, a Turquoise ring was worn as a protector against all things evil. The proverb states: “Given by a loving hand it brings with it happiness and good fortune.” However, the ring emitted protective energy only if the stone was given by a friend. It was believed to restore clear vision to the mind when the thinking became muddled and thus ensured good fortune. [Mella, 111]

Turquoise has always been valued as an ornamental gem, often considered a symbol of male power. Anselmus de Boot, court physician of Emperor Rudolph II, wrote in 1609 that Turquoise was so highly regarded by men that no man considered his hand to be well adorned unless he wore a fine Turquoise. [Kunz, 111] Today, we know Turquoise empowers men and women equally, and worn or carried, it is a talisman of luck, success, ambition, creativity and wealth. [Eason, 239]

In the workplace, Turquoise promotes leadership, assists relocation or regular travel associated with career, and helps avoid unwise investments. It helps overcome writer’s block, and is a stone of clear communication when giving information; an especially good amulet for those who work in the law, or for local or central government. [Eason, 41, 239] Turquoise is especially recommended for accountants and computer operators for mental relaxation, for those who work in radio or television to release anxiety, and for laborers to protect from bodily harm. [Mella, 129-132]

As a crystal for travel, Turquoise protects you and your possessions against theft, loss or attack, helps prevent accidents, especially falls, and even guards your pet. [Eason, 41-42] Attached to a collar, bridle, or cage, Turquoise prevents animals from straying or being stolen, and makes horses sure-footed and obedient to their riders.

It is especially useful for clearing the Throat Chakra, and blockages of suppressed self-expression. [Hall, 307] As jewelry it is worn by men and women alike, and considered a promise of fidelity and protectiveness to a lover or partner. It is used in sacred prayer beads, adorns musical instruments, prayer wheels and bells, and a Turquoise rosary is said to relate prayer to whatever deity is being invoked. Tibetan Turquoise is traditionally received as a gift to pass on its natural fortune-bringing powers, so if you buy your own, make it a gift to yourself. [Eason, 256]

But what I really want to share about this particular turquoise is that these are special pieces that have been with my Guru Lama since he was a novice, and was handed to him by his own Rinpoche. He was given 3 sets of this stone in which he should be giving to deserving monks, he has given one set to his own attendant who uses it as a prayer bead. The remaining two sets, because of the much needed help in Tibet, he decided to break into several pieces to make available to raise funds for the people of Tibet who were afflicted by the earthquake as much as Nepal. The only difference is since they are under the Chinese rule, international aid and news are unable to go in.

These Turquoise beads of my Guru Lama are highly blessed. Please note that these are mala beads broken into single powerful beads for people who wants to avail them to help the Sentient Beings in Tibet and Nepal.

These Turquoise beads of my Guru Lama are highly blessed. Please note that these are mala beads broken into single powerful beads for people who wants to avail them to help the Sentient Beings in Tibet and Nepal.

These pieces are very holy because for about 3 decades they reside in a temple and are under different precious relics, most recently with the tooth relic of the Buddha. Not only that Turquoise is already powerful crystals, but also these pieces are inscribed with powerful symbols of double happiness and longevity. So giving a piece of this to people who are sick or whose lives may be in danger will surely help extend their life and protect them from harm. Furthermore, having this will ensure that your romantic luck, and at the same time bring back lost love, or wandering husband or wife.

But most important of all, remember all those who wish to invite this will also send financial help to Tibet.

Namtso Salt: A Rare Buddhist Artisan Salt Used for Protection from Negative Energy and for Enhancing Wealth Luck!

Published Nobyembre 29, 2014 by jptan2012

namtso-lake-tibet-china (2)
Despite being one of the largest salt-water lakes in Asia, Namtso is still relatively an unknown name to most people. But from this unknown lake comes one of the rarest Buddhist artisan salts that are good in combating and protecting us from negative chi and also helps generate wealth luck.
Namtso Lake is more popularly known as the ‘Heavenly Lake’ and is considered as the third holiest lake in Tibet. It is also the largest salt-water lake in Tibet.
Before China invaded Tibet, Namtso Lake is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites; inspite of it’s relatively being inaccessible. The famous Tashi Dor monastery is located at the southeastern corner of the lake. Now it has simply become a tourist spot because the Chinese government has disallowed that it be considered a pilgrimage and holy site. namsto.4
I’ve never been to Namtso Lake, but according to my Guru Lama, Namtso Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes one can ever see. Its water is turquoise in color giving it a look of an ocean. It is believed that Namtso Lake has been an apparition site of various Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, namely, Avalokitesvara (Kuan Yin in her original form), White Dzambhala, Medicine Buddha. Furthermore, it is said the Guru Rinpoche himself has declared the lake to be holy.
There is no clear history as to when it started but Namtso Lake being a holy salt-water lake, gave rise to one of the most powerful salt in combatting negative energy and helping to enhance wealth luck.
Namtso Salt is a whole round chunk of salt as big as a small baby’s head. It is usually process in a clay pot and is considered as one of the purest salt. Placing the Namtso salt in a room will protect the room from negative chi. It is extremely advisable for one to use Namtso Salt if one doesn’t know whether a Feng Shui of the room is good or bad. Furthermore, a Namtso Salt that has been blessed by a monk can drive away evil spirits.
Aside from driving away evil spirits and protecting us from negative chi, Namtso Salt placed on the center table of the living room and on the dining table acts as a very potent wealth enhancer. According to my Guru Lama, he personally witnessed this when a 2nd generation Tibetan refugee migrated to Singapore to seek for greener pastures. However, after 2 years of staying in Singapore he was unable to improve his life and has not been able to send a single centavo to his family in India. Worst, he is not even able to send letters because he was so poor that he doesn’t have money for postage and of course, emails is out of the question. Out of frustration, he seeks out the help of a monk who happens to be a student of my Guru Lama. This particular young monk then brought his story to the attention of my Guru Lama. My Guru Lama then decided to do a special puja for him, but since he has a small chunk of Namtso Salt with him, he decided to bless it and gave it to the Tibetan refugee. His luck then has since has a great turn around, it has been 10 years since it happened, and he has now went back home to India where he now has his won business. He got his capital in Singapore and has largely recognized that his luck started to change for good after he received the Namtso Salt.
Making the Namtso Salt is a very tedious process, and takes months before one is finally available.
First, Buddhist monks usually gathered fallen woods from the forest. They will the soak the woods in the Namtso Lake for 6 months. After 6 months, they will then chop the woods into smaller chunks and dry them out under the sun. The process usually takes up to 5 days. Then they will slowly burn the said wood, once the wood is burnt into ashes they will then put more Namtso Lake salt water and put it into clay pots. That’s when they’ll cook the salt. The salt is cooked once the clay pots broke. namtso salt
To my knowledge, there is only one other place who do a similar artisan salt this way, and that’s here in the Philippines. Bohol also has a similar process, but unlike the Namtso Salt the one in Bohol is made for cooking.
In using the Namtso Salt as a protection against negative energy or to drive away evil spirits, it’s advisable to place one whole Namtso Salt in each room of the house or in the room where the evil spirit dwells. If you’re confined in a hospital, it’s also good to bring one whole Namtso Salt and place it in your hospital room.
Breaking a Namtso Salt into smaller pieces can also act as protection amulet. Again it will drive away evil spirits and protect us from negative energy. It is recommended when carried on as an amulet, place a small chunk (about the size of a tablespoon) in a red cloth and carry it with you. Carrying when going to the yin places like cemeteries, hospitals, etc. will also protect us from the yin energy of the place. These small chunks will also act as a micro wealth luck enhancer.
As mentioned, to use the Namtso Salt as wealth enhancer, one can place it on the dining table and on the center table of the living room.
Placing a whole Namtso Salt on the front door will repel all negative energies, and putting them inside the toilet, will help alleviate the negative energies cause by having a toilet in that section of the house.
Taking a Namtso Salt bath is also the most effective salt bath. One you can do is get a small chunk about a size of a tablespoon and put it in the tub.
China’s invasion of Tibet has made the making of the Namtso Salt even more difficult. It was already extremely difficult to make a batch of Namtso Salt before but it was even harder now, so much so that per batch of Namtso Salts are only made every 10 to 15 years. Furthermore, this is usually smuggled out of Tibet because the Chinese government in an effort to stop Buddhism has also made it illegal to make and export Namtso Salts out of Tibet.
A very limited number of Namtso Salts is being made available for the readers of this blog thru the kindness of my Guru Lama. Proceeds of the sale of the said Namtso Salts are to be given to either for the food of the Buddhist monks or to Tibetan refugees. However, because of the bulkiness of the Namtso Salts, there will only be limited areas or countries that can receive them. Also, for shipments we might have to do it by bulk.
