Vajrapani Ruel Stories (26): Raising Enough Money to Finish One’s House And An Unexpected Additional Business!

Published Nobyembre 25, 2015 by jptan2012

house-with-moneyI’m a little hesitant to write this story because it might appear that it criticizes a certain image of a major religious sector. However, I have since written about it and the response was generally positive with several affirmations from readers that they did experience some bad Feng Shui because of that particular image. You’ll soon see what I am talking about but here’s the story of PL and SL.

PL and SL a married couple who both works as a Overseas Filipino Worker in the Middle East. Throughout their married life their biggest challenge is being separated from their 5 children because they both have to work abroad. However, this was somewhat tempered by SL’s mother presence and she was able to raise PL’s and SL’s kids properly.

According PL and SL their kids are great kids, and they would never ask for anything expensive. In fact, unlike the children of their Filipino colleagues abroad, their kids never asked for mobile phones or any other gadgets. Their school grades are average, and their middle child is even an honor student. To some extent their family although they are miles away from their children are almost perfect.

Their eldest and second child are now also working and without prompting they also contributed to the expenses at home, and because of this it was easier for them to built their own house. Since they are both working abroad it was their eldest, their second child and SL’s mom, the maternal grandmother of the children, who took care of the building of the house. And so little by little they built their home. It took them almost three years to finish their house not because it was big but because they really have to save up and build a portion, then save up and build another portion, until October last year they finished their small but loving home! The only thing left to do is decorating it and putting the section of the house where they’ll put up a small store and small computer shop and the dirty kitchen.

Their kids and SL’s mom decided to hold off finishing the decorating because they want PL and SL to finish the decoration of the house. But their eldest thought it would not to put a picture of their parents in the biggest wall of the house, which is in the dining room. They initially wanted to do it in the living room, but there is no place for it there. But as agreed they will wait for their parents to come and wait for their decision.

November came and PL and SL came back to see their new home, and also to finish the small store, small computer shop and the dirty kitchen. They were really happy to see their new home almost finished. The kids told them of the blank wall in the dining room and having the picture of their parents there. However, SL has always been fascinated with the image of The Last Supper and so they decided to place The Last Supper on that wall. In less than a week’s time they had it there.

PL and SL plans to go back abroad for their last term of contract before they settle here in the Philippines by late January, unfortunately, SL was informed just between Christmas and New Year that contrary to what they initially agreed on she won’t be renewed by her employer. This came as a shock, and she was told that because her employer is having some business problems and they are terminating the contract of several overseas contract staff and since SL is in the Philippines, she’s among the first few contract workers to be terminated. Although Pl and SL got really worried, they took it as a sign that she has to stay home and it will just be PL to leave and work abroad, they made some financial calculations it’s going to be a little risky but they should just make the small store and the computer shop work and they will survive it.

But after New Year, they got another shock! PL will also not be able to go back to his employer because his brother who works with him, embezzled some money before he came back to the Philippines, which was just 3 days before Christmas. And it was only discovered after New Year! Furthermore, he has some money that he remitted through his brother to avoid being questioned why s he remitting or bringing a big amount of money and this seems to have been stolen from him by his brother. His brother also didn’t went home for Christmas, instead he went directly to province of his wife where his wife and children lives. They initially didn’t get worried because they were able to talk to him during Christmas, but when the news about his embezzling the money of the company broke out, they were unable to get in touch with him, not even his wife or any of his wife’s family.

They’re at a lost as to how this can happen to them and it seems that they got their bad luck because they SL was betrayed by her employer that she has faithfully served for several years and PL was betrayed by his brother. He was unable to go back by virtue that the one who embezzled money is his brother. For the Arabs it doesn’t make any difference, for them they’re one and the same.

All of a sudden their dream house although built already won’t be finished because they have to save the money for what seems to be an uncertain future. But still they pursued and instead of being sad tried to look for here in the Philippines. But they find it hard to get a good job primarily because of their age.

Their eldest who happens to be my reader took pity on them and contacted me. She said although her parents are trying to be strong. At that time I really haven’t met PL and SL and I still don’t know about the image of THE LAST SUPPER that in Feng Shui may cause betrayal.

The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It's important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless. The Vajrapani Ruel itself is only about 1 to 2 inches and it varies from one ruel to another.

Anyway, their daughter decided to get the Vajrapani Ruel and I told her that since it’s her parents who are having the problems really it’s better if she will give it to one of her parents. And so she gave it to his father who is more open in trying out these kinds of things, her mom, SL, is very religious and a devout Catholic and might not be open to trying out Feng Shui, especially amulets of Buddhist origin.

Soon after carrying it PL experienced his first miracle, he got a job whose pay is even more than what he gets in the Middle East, then after that some money was ‘mysteriously’ deposited in his account, which correspond to the amount that he remitted through his brother. Because of these developments they’re able to finish their home!

PL and SL through their daughter contacted me because they want to get another Vajrapani Ruel, while we’re talking she inquired as to what can cause the betrayal, to which I replied all the possible reasons that I can think of. I haven’t written about the image of THE LAST SUPPER then and although I was hesitant to mention it to them, in my experience a lot of people experienced some form of betrayal and sadness when they have the image. If you want to know more about it you can read the following posts:

PL and SL decided to simply donate the image of THE LAST SUPPER to a church, and replace it with the image of the HOLY FAMILY.

Meanwhile, SL did get another Vajrapani Ruel and although she has decided to simply manage their small store and computer shop, an unexpected opportunity ‘landed on her lap’ when two different people contacted her to help sell their processed meat and cooked meal respectively. This also proves to be a very good additional business and now they have added some tables outside their small store to serve food!

Their daughter, PL and SL all believes that it is because of the Vajrapani Ruel that they all this good luck!

The Last Supper (Part 3): A Reader Responds And What To Do With The Image of The Last Supper.

Published Oktubre 29, 2015 by jptan2012

last supperA reader emailed me in response to my post about THE LAST SUPPER being a bad Feng Shui image. For those who are not familiar with it, please click on the title of the post so that you can understand what we are talking about here.

  1. ‘The Last Supper’ in the Dining Room: Good or Bad Feng Shui (Part 1)
  2. ‘The Last Supper’ in the Dining Room: Good or Bad Feng Shui (Part 2)

I did not alter any of his statement and is posting them here verbatim. I have inserted ( ) wherein I felt the word needs clarification.

   Hi Bro,

Enjoyed all your post and will continue to do so.

I’m a born Roman Catholic but I’ve come to practice Buddhism at the same time.

So my humble take with regards to the last supper and feng shui:

1. Different ppl (people) interpret art differently.  One man may say, betrayal, sorrow, pain ets.. Another may say good or bad family is family no matter what, others may say well that sacrifice was  a pivotal part of history to which we would now not be enjoying what we have. Also there’s the artist take on what he wanted to depict and why.

A question if you don’t mind, what happens if a good feng shui item which does good but makes the owner doubtful or perhaps a painting that makes him sad or fearful?

But I must agree with you that if the general consensus in an area or the owner has a negative interpretation  about something it’s best removed.

If something brings a positively reinforced feeling then surely it can do no harm.

Growing up I feared the look of certain Buddhas due to wrathful appearance and different peoples opinion but having come to understand for myself I have come to find I’m no longer fearful instead I see why and the beauty of it.

In the end, it is my humble belief that much more than beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.

TP, the reader who sent me this email raised some valid points that are totally worth considering.

I also would like to share that I did get a lot of email and text messages informing me that since they had their image of THE LAST SUPPER, they or their family did experience a lot of betrayal. If you remember BM, she is somebody that I have written about several times on this blog. She has a beautiful wood carving of THE LAST SUPPER and she said that true enough she experienced betrayals from her staff, from people that she nurtured and taken care of. While these betrayals are not bad enough to ruin her business, for BM it hurt more because she sincerely cared for these people. Another reader also emailed me that they were a happy family until the father had a fling, she felt betrayed, and she said the relationship they found out started about a year ago. She said they have a fairly new image of THE LAST SUPPER that they bought in Italy about 18 months ago. (Please note that date of posting does not necessarily reflect date of writing.)

A lot of people were asking me also on what to do with the image of THE LAST SUPPER. Most people would want to take it off. But what to do with it? I suggest donating it to a church or religious institutions.

However, one particular reader still lives with her parents and she can’t take it out because her mom does not believe in Feng Shui. If this is the case, I suggest putting a powerful protective amulet behind the image, such as the Vajrapani Ruel, Surangama Mantra Amulet, or the Kalachakra.

Pure Land Buddhists believes that when you wear a Surangama Mantra Amulet, heavenly beings that has an affinity with you will hover over you.

The Kalachakra Symbol is a powerful protection symbol. It is actually ten syllable mantra compressed into one symbol. The mantra is HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. However, it is usually chanted with OM AH HUM thus making the complete mantra as OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. It is because off this that I decided to put the symbolic script OM AH HUM on top of Kalachakra Symbol.

Devastating Feng Shui Blunder Didn’t Affect the People Living in the Said House: A Story of A Good Person with Good Karma!

Published Oktubre 22, 2015 by jptan2012

Slanted Ceiling.

Several exposed beams.

A wooden sculpture of “The Last Supper”.

Window by the headboard of the bed.

These are just some of the Feng Shui blunders that this house in Davao has. When I first look at the pictures of the said house, all I can say is that whoever lived in that house should have extreme bad luck. Sent the said pictures to my Feng Shui teacher in Hong Kong and he also said the same thing. Whoever lived in that house had or is having a bad life. In fact, what he said was ‘extremely’ bad life.

But here is the clincher. I know who lives in the said house. She is happily married, she has two obedient and intelligent children, she is financially stable if not well – off, she has several businesses are doing quite well, she owns several more properties both here and in Davao. So how is it that we’re wrong in our interpretation. I know the person so I was not that surprised, not as surprised as my Feng Shui teacher.

Remember BM? Talked about her in the post entitled – UNEXPECTED HIGH SALES ATTRIBUTED TO THE SURANGAMA MANTRA AMULET – and – WHAT’S EVEN MORE POWERFUL OR IMPORTANT THAN FENG SHUI OR AN AMULET? – the house belongs to her.

You see this will be a very long post if I have to talk all about her good deeds but needless to say I think her being compassionate, self – less, and generous person has prevented them to experience all the bad effects of the Feng Shui blunders of her house. Furthermore, when I talked to her about how being a good person had given her good karma that is strong enough to protect them from the most damaging effects of the Feng Shui blunders of her house, she would always demure and clarify that it is her parents that are really the kindest. And I’m sure that her parents good karma has also benefited them so it is also but fitting to give them the credit. But BM’s brother is not as lucky, and I hope BM doesn’t hate me for saying this because maybe he is not as good hearted as BM. He might have broken off the link of good karma and BM might have inherited all of it. Now people who are around BM benefits as well!

So remember that it is not all about Feng Shui or amulets. Next time that you see an extremely bad Feng Shui blunder remember…

A wholehearted donation to the church or temple…

A selfless prayer for somebody else…

A simple donation to the beggar…

Send somebody to school if you can…

Be kind…

Be generous…

Be thoughtful…

Be compassionate…

…these are Feng Shui cures or amulets as well. I know because BM is the living proof !

“The Last Supper” in the Dining Room: Good or Bad Feng Shui? (Part 2)

Published Oktubre 3, 2015 by jptan2012

In my preceding post, I talked about solving some family problems by taking out the image of THE LAST SUPPER, which a lot of Catholic Filipinos loves to put in their dining room.

As I said, I was hesitant to write about it because people might brand me as anti – Catholic or anti – Christian, or worst, anti – Christ. Please note that I’m not, and DS whose story I shared on the preceding post remains to be a devout Catholic. And maybe it is worth mentioning that my mom, my aunts still remains to Chinese Buddhist – Catholic.

But let me share why I think that the image of THE LAST SUPPER sheds of bad Feng Shui. First, we have to take into context the story of THE LAST SUPPER.last supper

THE LAST SUPPER is an interpretation of Leonardo Da Vinci of the last supper of Jesus Christ with his disciples. The picture projects betrayal, denial, the breaking of relationships, sadness and suffering, and to some extent death. Judas is betraying Jesus for silver, Peter is about to deny Jesus, the disciples are about to be ‘broken’ to different factions, and Jesus was sad and already suffering from emotional pain. Lastly, it was a prelude to his death.

Need I say more?

I will not deny that to this day if people call me to ask for the Vajrapani Ruel to help solve their family disharmony problems, or they are usually betrayed by people, I usually ask them whether they have THE LAST SUPPER in their house. If yes, I tell them of my opinion and suggest that they take it out. Sometime they won’t and will opt and push for to get the Vajrapani Ruel. But those that I was able to convince to hold off getting the Vajrapani Ruel and simply try taking out the image of THE LAST SUPPER, that simple act usually solves their problems. But I would like to stress that I maintain that I respect the belief of people who uses the image of THE LAST SUPPER as an image to remind them of God’s love.

“The Last Supper” in the Dining Room: Good or Bad Feng Shui? (Part 1)

Published Oktubre 2, 2015 by jptan2012

last supperI’m extremely hesitant to write this post because it might be misinterpreted but I thought I should do it because a lot of people have been asking about it.

The question is “Is THE LAST SUPPER a positive image to put in the dining room or anywhere in the house?”

To answer this question, allow me to share a short story that happened a long time ago. Back when I was young and still had time to do home Feng Shui audits, I came across a wife and mother whose problem is that her family seems to be breaking down. This lady, DS, is a friend of my aunt. She’s a devout Catholic and have been doing novenas and walking on her knee in Quiapo Church to petition that her family gets the peace that they used to have.

DS blames money as the cause of the family woes. Their business was doing better, they have moved to a new house but as her children grow older they have become more stubborn, they fight each other, they betray each other’s trust, and it has come to point that they fight a lot over money. Her children are all college graduates and still living with her and they all have joined the family business.

She was desperate to make sure that her family doesn’t become a broken family or a chaotic one. When she was crying her heart out to my aunt, my aunt suggested that she has her house Feng Shui-ed. Then my aunt volunteered my services saying that it’s free!

I agreed to check the Feng Shui her house and aside from minor blunders I didn’t see anything that will cause the problem, neither did I see anything in their birth charts or Bazi or Paht Chee!

We were discussing her family problems and my findings or the lack of it to explain her problems when something inside me stirred and thought that it may be the painting of THE LAST SUPPER in her dining room that is causing the problem. I was hesitant to mention this because (1) she is a devout Catholic; (2) and I was not sure. How can a religious painting cause problem. But I slowly broach the topic and I can see the disbelief in her eyes. But out of desperation to have peace in her family she agreed.

Two months after that she called and she said she thinks that my recommendation to take out the painting of THE LAST SUPPER seems to be working. Several years after, even until now, she still claims and tell her friends about it and while she remains to be devout Catholic, she would always tell people to take out a painting of THE LAST SUPPER whenever she sees one.

Is this an isolated incident? No. I have encountered this kind of concern several times and whenever I can’t find any obvious reason base on the Bazi or home Feng Shui, I would suggest that they take out the painting or image of THE LAST SUPPER and it seems to always solve the problem.
