Understanding the Power of Jade – Powerful Holy Jade Items for Wealth, Health, Harmony and Protection!

Published Hunyo 13, 2018 by jptan2012

jade-zoom-1I have been receiving a lot of messages encouraging me to continue this blog. However, it is already a “done deal” that this blog will end once it reaches the 1000th post. This is also the reason why my most recent articles focus more on empowering you to do your own Feng Shui and to understanding what needs to be done in case there is a Feng Shui blunder.

Some people are also asking about getting amulets after I have ended this blog. Well, it is possible that amulets will find their way to you if you are ready for it. However, you have to understand that sometimes you need to be able to understand when that time has come, sometimes an amulet that comes your way now because you need it will not present itself again in the future should you decide to let go of that opportunity.

Speaking of amulets, today’s article is about some special amulets. I think this is something being made available to us by Guru Lama because of the pending ending of this blog.

Those who have been with me in this journey of Feng Shui blogging right when it started will know that one of the most powerful natural Feng Shui tool from nature aside from the metal gold is the power of gemstones. For the Chinese, the foremost of all these gemstones is the jade.

I have written about the power of jade. In fact, the Piyao (also called or spelled as Pi Yao, Pixie, Pi Xie, Pi Xiu, or Pixiu) is only truly effective when it is made of gold or jade. Needless to say, real jade because there are so many fake jades in the market. It is not an exaggeration when I say that most jade Piyaos in the market now are made of fake jade. Of course, the most powerful ones are those that are blessed by a high lama or monk, and are made of empowered gold like the SPECIAL GOLD PIYAO or empowered jades. They are empowered thru mantras, sutras, and/or pujas performed by Bhiksus or Bhiksunis or high lamas.

It also has fierce but still friendly face, this indicates that while you can be fierce in business or work, you will still gain the support and admiration of the people around you. This also means that you can you charm to get to your wealth luck.

HISTORICAL POWERFUL MYSTICAL USES OF JADE

Let me go back to the power of jade.

Contrary to popular belief that a jade is a Chinese stone, jade is actually used in various cultures and nations and Ancient Civilization or Ancient Societies, but I think it was given it highest regard by the Chinese. But history shows that jade is revered by a lot of cultures. Not to mention jade is also found in different countries like Mexico, India, Canada, New Zealand, and a lot more. However, they jade experts believes that superior jade is found in China, Russia, and Myanmar, formerly known as Burma.

These countries who also had the jade believes in the power of the jade.

In fact, the ancient Mexicans has very high regard for the jade. Like the Chinese they make that jade is use in the carving of their gods. In fact, Kukulcan and Quetzalcoatl, the supreme gods of the ancient Mexicans are traditionally depicted with jade in their eyes and navel. They believe that if jade is not used in their eyes and their navel the images are just plain simple images and will not be able to channel the energies of the said god.

It was also a custom of the Mayans to place small pieces of jade in the mouth of their ruler the Jaguar Bird at his death. It is said that the jade will act as the receptacle of the dead ruler’s spirit. The Mayans also associate the jade with water (money), vegetation (wealth), the sky (heavenly blessings), life (chi or energy), renewal and rebirth. You will notice that this is very similar to the Chinese. If you remember a previous article, it is customary for the Chinese to put a jade cicada in the mouth of a person who has just died to ensure good rebirth.

The belief of putting a jade in the mouth of the dead was shared by other ancient cultures. Some of you might find it surprising the jade was found in the tombs or even in the pyramids of Egyptian rulers. They were place at the heart of the Egyptian ruler. No definite study was made to understand why use jade as representative of the heart, that we can only surmise that they believe that jade is the stone that can aid good rebirth and capture the good essence of the heart of a person as the Chinese belief states.

Furthermore, in Mesoamerica, a jade is considered so precious and powerful that people of the “lower” class bracket are not allowed to own a jade. Because they believe that this will make the person powerful. A person of the “lower” social class bracket was found to have a jade, no matter how small, they would be immediately executed. Many books have written about this, but none has written about it as extensively as Peterson Fredrick wrote in his book “Ancient Mexico: Introduction to the Pre-Hispanic Cultures.”

According to Peterson Fredrick, the Aztecs has a law for a “man of low quality” to own a jade, because the stone was reserved for high priests and nobility. It is also considered as one of the most important offering, still much like what Chinese Buddhists do in offering jades and gold these days. That jade is used as a special sacred offering is fully evident in Cenoté and Chichen Itzá.

In the ancient Southwest Pacific, they believe that when you give a jade to a person, you also give a part of your soul. Thus, it is only given to a loved one or parent to child or vice versa.

CHINESE BUDDHIST AND TAOISTS CONTINUE TO USE JADE FOR ITS POWERFUL MYSTICAL PROPERTIES

But as mentioned, nobody has used jade and revered it as much as the Chinese does. Chinese Buddhist and/or Taoists believes that an image of a Buddha, or Bodhisattva, or deity or god made of jade is superior to other images. Contemporary Buddhist monks try to downplay this belief because they don’t want people to have a misplaced belief that non – jade images are worthless, but to this day a lot of Buddhist monks believes this to be the case.

From ancient times to this day, the Chinese believes that everyone should own at least one jade. The stone will serve to protect you, bless you with wealth and health. I for one owns several pieces of jade, including a very rare piece of Chung Kwei black jade. My black jade is only one of the two black jades in the country. On top of owning a black jade, every single member of the family has at least one small piece of jade. The younger generation are all gifted with a jade, but of course, my generation and the older generation all have several pieces. I have mentioned several times in this blog my jade Kuan Yin pendant and several pieces of Piyao jade, I still wear this jade everyday even though I already have the very powerful SPECIAL GOLD PIYAO. On top of that I also have a jade ring set in gold. Sharing all these not to brag about my jade collection, but to show how much value and belief I have in a jade. In fact, Lillian Too, who perhaps is the world’s most famous Feng Shui writer has repeatedly mentioned and given credit to her jade bangle for her success and wealth.

Chung Kwei Black Jade

This is a rare black jade pendant image of Chung Kwei. Was fortunate enough to find one in Beijing, China in a small shop. Remember in choosing a Chong Kwei or Chung Kwei or Zhung Kwei or Zhong Kwei, always get a something that’s made of a black stone or gold. Otherwise, it might not be very effective.

But more than success and wealth, a jade is also a very good protection stone. I remember, when we were still young, my sister had an accident in school. She feels from the stairs, she was not hurt, even though the stairs were made of hard stone. Her jade bangle broke into two though.

I can go on and on and on about how powerful a jade is. In fact, one can write a book simply talking about its mystical properties and wonderful stories from people who experienced these energies. But one of the most powerful way to know this is simply by experiencing the power of a jade. Regular readers of this blog know that I always say that each and every person should at least own one piece of jade.

GETTING TO KNOW THE GEMSTONE JADE

Now another misconception about jade is that it is always green. That’s not true. There are brown jade, yellow jade, white jade, pink jade, purple or violet jade, orange jade, red jade, and as mentioned the rare black jade. But of course, the most common one is a green jade. But even the green jade has various shade. There is the ice jade, which is a clear type or opaque type of a very light almost white jade, there is the natural green jade, there is the imperial jade, the ink jade, which a lot of scrupulous sellers will tell you is the much-coveted black jade but is not the same as that of the black jade.

NOTE: AN INK JADE WILL LOOK BLACK, UNTIL YOU FLASH SOME LIGHT AT THE BACK WHERE IT WILL SHOW IT’S TRUE GREEN COLOR. THE BLACK JADE IS NOT REALLY BLACK BUT GRAYISH WITH WHITE. SEE THE PHOTO OF MY BLACK CHUNG KWEI.

One point of concern is that it is quite difficult to distinguish a real jade from a fake jade, and also quite difficult to distinguish a low-grade jade to a high-grade jade unless you have developed the skill to see it. Some people will also say that aventurine is a jade, aventurine is aventurine and it is a not a jade. Chrysophrase and Dioptase are two other green stones that are very jade like but are more porous. A lot of sellers will tell you that these stones are high quality jade but if you have developed the eye for real jade, or if you got them and wear them you will soon notice that they are not real jade.

Jade actually only has two major varieties, and they are nephrite and jadeite. Of all the jade, other than the black jade, it’s the Burmese imperial jade.

POWERFUL HOLY JADE ITEMS FOR HEALTH, WEALTH, HARMONY AND PROTECTION

Those of you who live in China, Honking, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Nepal, Myanmar, etc. Knows that it is customary for Buddhists who have been blessed or who are asking for a favor from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to donate gold such as rings, necklaces, or even gold bars or gold coins. Recently, some of these, after being empowered, were again made available to the public by way of the SPECIAL GOLD PIYAO. However, it has to be noted that it is also EQUALLY customary to donate jade and/or other gemstones. But more often than not jade is offered because a lot of Buddhists considers jade to be a superior jade as compared to emerald, ruby, and even diamonds. It is only the best first-class jades that are donated to the temple.

These jades and other gemstones are also put at the foot of an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva where they receive strong positive chi from the chanting of mantras, reciting of sutras, and pujas performed by Bhiksus, Bhiksunis and/or high lamas like Guru Lama. These jades are then included in the images of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas. However, Guru Lama’s temple has acquired so many of these jades, and people are still continuously donating high quality jade to the temple. So, Guru Lama thought of making these a FEW of these jades available to the public to help raise funds for food for novice monks, building temples, and for their charity work. By doing these the ones who will received these jades in exchange of stipulated amount for exchange of energies will also receive not just high-quality jade but also comes with the jade the energies from the pujas, chanting of mantras, and recitation of sutras.

These jades are going to be made available to the public so that they will be blessed. Some of these jades are gem quality and thus they will be made thru a ring with a mantra. It will come in different sizes so hopefully all those who are interested will find one that will fit them.

But more than that, there are 15 of almost century old jade ingot. You all know that an ingot is one of the most powerful symbol to welcome wealth, money or financial luck in Feng Shui. Made from either jade or gold it becomes more powerful. But if it comes from the temple who has been empowering it for almost a century it should be extremely magical. There are 15 of these holy jade ingots, but only 3 are being made available thru this blog. Having this holy jade ingot will definitely bring in a lot of wealth luck to a family or person where this ingot is. This is especially highly recommendable who have their own house and/or are moving to their own house/new house.

holy jade ingot 1

This HOLY JADE INGOT is a very powerful tool to bring in wealth luck. Specially good for those moving to a new house or already have their own home. This jade is roughly a century old jade. The actual size of this is about 3 inches in length. Approximately.  Apologies for the amateur photo. The monks who took the picture are not camera savvy.

On top of that, there 3 holy jade teapots. These holy jade teapots are about half – a – century old, and one will be made available thru this blog. For those who are familiar with Feng Shui will know that a teapot is also a powerful wealth symbol and harmony symbol. Those who are running a business and wish to close a deal can put rock salt in the holy jade teapot for 7 days, then put water in it and pour the water onto your head on the day of business transaction. This is also a powerful house cleansing tool. The process of which will be shared with the person who is lucky enough to get this.

This HOLY JADE TEAPOT is around half – a – century old. Just like the HOLY JADE INGOT, this is hand carved and hand polished. Very good wealth luck and financial luck enhancer and also good for powerful protection ritual. Also very good harmony Feng Shui tool. Apologies for the amateur photo. The monks who took the picture are not camera savvy.

This HOLY JADE TEAPOT is around half – a – century old. Just like the HOLY JADE INGOT, this is hand carved and hand polished. Very good wealth luck and financial luck enhancer and also good for powerful protection ritual. Also very good harmony Feng Shui tool. You can pool rock salt, sea salt, pink himlayan salt, or black lava salt inside. Apologies for the amateur photo. The monks who took the picture are not camera savvy.

Of course, there a few more jades, some are rings, or gem quality that can be made into a ring or pendant. There are different images also like the Cicada, Piyao, Happy Buddha. Naturally all these are empowered thru the pujas, chanting of mantras and recitation of sutras performed by Bhiksus, Bhiksunis and other high lamas like Guru Lama.

These are all very old pieces, and you can actually see some signs of age to this holy pieces. I think it’s really part of the charisma of these pieces. Imagine these pieces receiving all the energies from the pujas, mantras, and sutras for decades!!!!

The truth some of these jade have been made available to a small selected group of readers in the past. Either with exchange of energies of or as a gift.

But this time it will be made available to everybody.

However, please note that these are going to be on a first – come, first – served basis and are limited. Also, please note that not because you want it and has the means to send the monetary exchange of energies you will have it. Guru Lama will decide if you can have it base on your birthdate, this is especially true for the holy jade ingot and the holy jade teapot. For the others, Guru Lama will decide what you can have base on your birthdate or whether you’ll be allowed to have them.

To understand about the exchange of energies, please read the article called THE EVOLUTION OF ACQUIRING AN AMULET.

DO YOUR OWN FENG SHUI BY LEARNING ABOUT THE KUA NUMBER AND IDENTIFYING YOUR GOOD AND BAD DIRECTIONS!

Published Abril 27, 2018 by jptan2012

As mentioned, the last articles before the eventual ending of this blog is going to be more of an ‘educational’ posts, I will talk about how you can do your basic Feng Shui.

All of us has good and bad directions base on our birthdate or birthday, this is going to be determined thru our Kua number. I have written about this before, but I think it is important that this be discussed again, because this is something that is quite important and needs to be understand by everybody. It is also quite important that everyone learns how to determine their own good and bad directions. If you know this, you would have already dealt with 1/4th of your Feng Shui.compass

To achieve good Feng Shui it is important that you face your good directions when eating or working, your head should be directed towards one of those directions when sleeping, your bedroom should be in that sector of the house, and most importantly your house door or office door should be facing one of those directions.

Likewise, you should avoid the bad directions.

There are different Feng Shui schools of thought, and one of them is the Compass Feng Shui. Calculating the Kua number is a sub-thought of the Compass Feng Shui.

But before I discuss that, allow me to share the different good and bad directions.kua chart

The four different good lucks are SHENG CHI (Success), TIEN YI (HEALTH), NIEN YEN (Relationship/Love) and FU WEI (Personal Development/Growth).

SHENG CHI, which I have indicated as the ‘Success’ direction, is actually loosely translated as ‘generating chi’ or ‘generating energy’. Most Feng Shui experts and Chinese believes that this is the best amongst all the four-different luck, because this largely governs your personal success, especially in business, or if it is wealth growth and prosperity that you’re looking for. This direction also governs your ‘political’ potential. By political I don’t mean it to be the real sense of politics but more of how you handle situation in your professional life.  This is also the direction that governs your recognition luck.

TIEN YI is loosely translated as ‘heaven’s doctor’. This largely governs one’s health. If you are experiencing health problems or is afflicted with the illness star it’s best to have your head face the direction of your Tien Yi when sleeping, just make sure that the illness star is not in that direction on that particular year. This is also the direction that concerns your wealth luck, financial luck, money luck. However, Tien Yi is not only about health, it also provides medium range wealth and career luck. So, some people consider this as the second-best luck.

NIEN YEN’s loose translation is ‘descendant and longevity’, but as you can see the English translation that I indicated is RELATIONSHIP/LOVE, because this direction basically deals with primarily family relationship luck and descendant’s luck. This is also the luck that governs your all your relationship that includes love life. This is also a secondary health direction, so if you’re sick and is unable to face your Tien Yi direction, this is the second option.

FU WEI’s loose translation is ‘basic self’. This is the direction that largely governs your personal growth but is not related to career and/or financial growth. This direction is largely associated with people who need to seek enlightenment or needs to know what they want to do in life. This is also a direction that is largely beneficial to those who need to seek spirituality and clarity. If you’re going through a lot of personal problem, this is the direction to activate.

It’s quite easy for us to misinterpret that Sheng Chi is the best luck; in fact, this is the case with most Chinese and some Feng Shui experts. However, I don’t think this is the case, each of the lucky and its corresponding directions base in your Kua number serves its own purpose. For example, you may be enjoying career success and financial luck but is going through a tough personal fulfillment phase; you can activate your Fu Wei and need not concentrate too much on your Sheng Chi. You also may be a successful businessman, but your health of family life is bad, then you can activate your Tien Yi and Nien Yen respectively. It’s really finding the right balance and looking for what’s missing in your life or what would be your priority.

How do you activate these directions, it’s quite simple, you just face that direction when working and eating. When sleeping your head should be towards the direction you want to activate.

Now, the good directions are really just half of it. There are bad directions also, and in this case, it’s a perfect yin and yang concept.

Allow me to share the four bad directions.

One of these bad lucks is called HO HAI, which is loosely translated as ‘accidents and mishaps’, this is an unlucky direction in the sense that continuously confronting or activating this luck by facing its corresponding direction base on your Kua number will create some bad luck that should have been otherwise preventable. For example, you can fall off the stairs and break a leg, or through carelessness might miss out on some detail with work that might create some problem with your boss or colleagues or clients.

Another bad luck is the WU KWEI, literal translation is “Five Ghost’. This may sound scary and to some extent it is really quite scary. For people who have requested me to read their Bazi, I call this luck as ‘Personal Bad Luck’, because Wu Kwei tends to attack anything that’s quite personal. For example, if you’re a parent a child might get hurt, it can also create a lot of disharmony and quarrels both in your work place and at home. You might also have problems with fire and theft.

LIU SHA or “Six Killings’ is another bad luck. This basically attacks your career and wealth luck. Meaning, you might lose a job or get into trouble because of it. Its secondary effect is with the family, you might have a broken family or have some financial problems because of family matters like a family member that gets into gambling or an illness that will need long term care thus creating financial problems.

The last of these bad lucks is CHUEH MING, which is also directly can be translated into “Total Loss’, this may be scariest of all the bad luck direction base on your Kua number.  This is considered as the most fatal of all directions, because it might create total bad luck. Continuously facing or ‘activating’ this direction might even negate your good karma and good Feng Shui.

All these good and bad directions are based on your kua number.

Basically, your Kua number determines the lucky and unlucky directions of your life. I’ll discuss about these lucky and unlucky directions in details on my next post. But knowing your Kua number will determine whether you are an East or West group person and your corresponding lucky and unlucky directions.

The numbers one (1), three (3), four (4) and nine (9) belongs to the East Group. The numbers two (2), six (6), seven (7) and eight (8) belongs to the West Group. The number 5 (five) is replace by eight (8) for women, and by two (2) for men.

The four lucks are: SHENG CHI (Success), TIEN YI (HEALTH), NIEN YEN (Relationship/Love) and FU WEI (Personal Development/Growth).

The four bad lucks are: HO HAI (Unlucky), WU KWEI (Five Ghosts), LIU SHA (6 Killing), CHUEH MING (Total Loss).

If your Kua Number is 1 your lucky directions are – Southeast (SHENG CHI), East (TIEN YI), South (NIEN YEN) and North (FU WEI). Your unlucky directions are – West (HO HAI), Northeast (WU KWEI), Northwest (LIU SHA), Southwest (CHUEH MING).

If your Kua Number is 2 your lucky directions are – Northeast (SHENG CHI), West (TIEN YI), Northwest (NIEN YEN), and Southwest (FU WEI). Your unlucky directions are – East (HO HAI), Southeast (WU KWEI), South (LIU SHA), and North (CHUEH MING)

If your Kua Number is 3 your lucky directions are – South (SHENG CHI), North (TIEN YI), Southeast (NIEN YEN), and East (FU WEI). Your unlucky directions are – Southwest (HO HAI), Northwest (WU KWEI), Northeast (LIU SHA), and West (CHUEH MING).

If your Kua Number is 4 your lucky directions are – North (SHENG CHI), South (TIEN YI), East (NIEN YEN), and Southeast (FU WEI). Your unlucky directions are – Northwest (HO HAI), Southwest (WU KWEI), West (LIU SHA), and Northeast (CHUEH MING).

If your Kua Number is 6 your lucky directions are – West (SHENG CHI), Northeast (TIEN YI), Southwest (NIEN YEN), Northwest (FU WEI). Your unlucky directions are Southeast (HO HAI), East (WU KWEI), North (LIU SHA), South (CHEUH MING)

If your Kua Number is 7, your lucky directions are – Northwest (SHENG CHI), Southwest (TIEN YI), Northeast (NIEN YEN), and West (FU WEI). Your unlucky directions are – North (HO HAI), South (WU KWEI), Southeast (LIU SHA), and East (Chua Ming).

If your Kua Number is 8, your lucky directions are – Southwest (SHENG CHI), Northwest (TIEN YI), West (NIEN YEN) and Northeast (FU WEI). Your unlucky directions are – South (HO HAI), North (WU KWEI), East (LIU SHA), and Southeast (CHEUH MING).

If your Kua Number is 9, your lucky directions are – East (SHENG CHI), Southeast (TIEN YI), North (NIEN YEN), and South (FU WEI). Your unlucky directions are – Northeast (HO HAI), West (WU KWEI), Southwest (LIU SHA), and Northwest (CHUEH MING).

Calculating the Kua number of a guy from a girl slightly differ from each other. For the guy, what you need to do is take the last 2 digits of your birth year. Add them together and keep on adding them until you get a single digit. If you were born before the year 2000, deduct this number from the number 10, and 9 if you were born in the year 2000 or later. The result is your Kua number.

For example: 1973 (7+3=10 / 1+0=1 / 10-1=9) Kua Number is 9

For the women, you also take the last two digits of your birth year. Add them together and keep on adding until you get a single digit. Add 5 to this number if you were born before the year 2000, add 6 if you were born in the year 2000 or later. If the result is a two-digit number, keep adding it again until you again get a single digit. This is your Kua number.

Please note that if you were born before Feb. 4 of the year, your birth year is that of the year before. For example, if you were born between Jan. 1 and Feb. 3, your birth year is that of the previous year. Let’s say you were born on Feb. 3, 2000, that means your birth year is still 1999.

As mentioned you must avoid your bad directions, but the reality of life is sometimes one can’t avoid them. There are a few cures available like putting rock salt, the problem is that you have to constantly replace them and many people forgot. The past few years, I have taken into recommending some amulets and these amulets have proven to be very effective in curing the negative effects of facing wrong directions. The cures are VAJRAPANI RUEL, SURANGGAMA MANTRA AMULET, and lately Guru Lama said that the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS AMULET & LAMA ATISHA COMBINED AMULETS is also a very powerful tool to counteract the negative effects of facing your bad directions. Please note that when it’s your bedroom door or house door that is facing the bad direction, you have to carry the said amulet and at the same time put one on the door of your bedroom or house door. The SPECIAL GOLD PIYAO is also a very good cure for this concern.

2018 Year of the Earth Dog Feng Shui Forecast Base on the Bazi Chart, Flying Stars Formula, and 24 Mountain Stars Formula: A Year that Brings Success Although It Lacks Wealth Luck! (Four Things to Remember – Wear Gold, Be Hardworking, And Most Importantly Have Faith and Be Determined!) – Part 1

As soon as middle of November hits, I always get a barrage of request to write my forecast. Before I would post my forecast in January only because I want people to understand that the annual forecast is really for the lunar year and not the western or Gregorian calendar. Lunar year, usually starts end of January or sometime in February, rarely it does start in early March. However, the past two years because of some very important factors in the forecast, I have posted my forecast articles sometime in December. But I think this is by far the earliest I’m posting forecast.

Why? Because for 2018 Year of the Earth Dog (Lunar Year) which happens on February 16, 2018 early preparation is key. Furthermore, since I wrote an article that gives a peak to what’s in store in 2018 lunar year, which is the Year of the Earth Dog, I have been barraged to write the whole forecast. To be fair, I have worked on the formulas and the charts already, but there are a several things that I want to be revalidated by Guru Lama and by my Feng Shui teacher in Hong Kong. After my formulas and charts has been validated, I had to compare notes with them regarding my analysis. You see, this year is quite especial, and as I always say a year is rarely all good or all bad, there some things in the chart this is a cause for concern. But I will not jump ahead of myself, I would like to present it properly so that you will understand it clearly.

Aside from the computations, analysis and validations with Guru Lama and my Feng Shui teacher, it also takes a while for me to write my posts, because I will have to organize it properly as to where I should start, and I have to choose my words carefully so that it doesn’t subject itself to misinterpretation. Writing alone of these forecasts usually takes 7 – 10 days, minimum of 2 hours day. It takes long because for me technically speaking it’s a one – man act, I don’t have a pool of staff who do the calculations, draft the charts, do the analysis and the writing. That is why it is a bit of tedious process. Nevertheless, the good news is that I’m not able to post my Feng Shui forecast for 2018 Year of the Earth Dog base on the Bazi Chart (Paht Chee Chart), Flying Star Formula and 24 – Mountain Stars Formula.

2018 Bazi Chart

PHOTO LIFTED FROM GOOGLE IMAGES

Another reason why I need to write this forecast early, is because while the energies of the 2018 Year of the Earth Dog doesn’t come early, unlike the last 2 entrances of lunar years, it does enter at the end of the last quarter of lunar year of 2017, which is the Year of the Fire Rooster, and the last quarter (November 2017, December 2017, and January 2018) are of conflicting energies, a little negative at that.

Some of you might be familiar already in reading a chart, and with one look at the chart of 2018 lunar year, one thing you will notice is that it is an imbalanced chart. It has a lot of wood, and unfortunately there is no metal. This year metal is the element that rules wealth or money or financial.

And so looking at the chart is already quite obvious that there is no wealth luck / financial luck / money luck to be had for this year. This means that income generation may be a little bit challenging. This goes for everybody, and so for this year, what is really important is for us to prepare for the coming year. One can do this by securing business deals or projects or ensuring that it will be difficult for business partners or stakeholder to rescind on agreements, for employees, one can make sure that your superiors notice how hardworking and also make sure that they notice your contributions. However, we are never a lone man, most of the time, what we make is dependent on how others do also. For example, even it is hard for a business partner to rescind on an agreement, if they are pushed to the wall, and because their own business is doing really bad, sometimes one can’t do anything about it. So, it is extremely important that one should put metal into one’s life. Make sure that the missing element is present in your life. For those, who knows their ‘Basket of Elements’ base on their Bazi Chart or Paht Chee Chart, and if it has a high metal rating then you are already a step ahead of the others, however, you should also still add more metal to your life to compensate for the missing element of the year.

How does one compensate the lack of metal in the year’s bazi chart? We should all wear the metal element. We should surround ourselves with it. Any metal is in a way a representation of the missing element, but because we also need the yang energy of the metal, the best metal to have is a yellow gold! It might be wrong for me to say that silver, stainless, and other metals are useless, but these are not going to be as powerful as having real gold, and not just any gold, I wouldn’t even suggest white gold or red gold (rose gold) unless if you are born in the year of the Ox, in which case the rose gold ore red gold might serve another purpose. But I’ll discuss that more in detail in the forecast for the Chinese animal zodiac.

If you don’t wear gold rings, earrings, necklace, pendants, this is the time to wear one. And the key to wearing gold this year, all you have to remember is that there is no such thing as excessive jewelry. Unless, if it becomes exaggerated, but wearing a ring on both hands, a bracelet, several pendants, earrings, bracelets is not considered as excessive. Wearing more white also helps. In your home or office, you can put white curtains, display gold images, which may be real or not, as long as it’s painted gold. Put more metal displays to compensate for the lack of the metal in the Bazi Chart of the year.

You should remember though that in wearing gold also it will be more beneficial if you wear gold that has an auspicious symbol or symbol of wealth.

At this point, I would like to point out that there appears a single metal element in one of the hidden stems. Making it a hidden metal. What does this mean? It means that money luck or wealth luck or financial luck is STILL SLIGHTLY POSSIBLE if one works really hard, or in business one has to be really creative or very strategic to create money luck or wealth luck or financial luck.

Knowing that this is going to be the situation this year, Guru Lama has released to wealth enhancing amulets. First, allow me to share with you the Special Gold Piyao, regular readers should know about this already and some of them even have shared their experience about it. You can read about their personal testimonies here:

A Piyao (also spelled called as Pi Yao, Pixiu, Pi Xiu, Pixie, Pi Xie) is a celestial being or celestial creature, or celestial animal that only eats gold and silver. This is one of the most powerful wealth amulet or charm one can wear if you want to attract wealth. I have shared with my readers that since I learned Feng Shui about 2 decades ago, I have since worn a Piyao in my body, and I’m never without it. I also have shared that the best Piyao if to be worn as an amulet are either gold or jade. But for this year, and in the years where wealth luck is bad, gold takes precedence over jade. The Special Gold Piyao is of an active stance, and the design is special in a way that it will be easy for it to attract wealth. There are two designs, one is with only coin (heavenly coin) at the bottom, and this is to signify that the Piyao need not look for money or wealth anymore, but rather it is walking on wealth. The other is with a heavenly coin and auspicious words to attract different kind of prosperity into one’s life. In a way, this signifies that one need not look for wealth, but rather one would be ‘walking’ on wealth.

But what makes the Special Gold Piyao really special aside from the design is that the gold used in making this Piyao is from the ‘treasury’ of the temple. It is from the donations of the Sangha members, and these golds are place in special containers then put at the food of different Buddhas, they then receive the energy or power from the chanting of the mantras, reciting of the sutras, or pujas performed by Bhiksus, Bhiksunis, or High Lamas like Guru Lama.

The Special Gold Piyao is really one of the must have for the year, and forms part of the Holy Trinity of Amulet for the lunar year 2018, which is the Year of the Earth Dog. Since there is no metal in the basket, everyone needs to have this Special Gold Piyao.

Other than the Special Gold Piyao, Guru Lama has also released this year the VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET. I have written extensively about this amulet and have shared some of testimonies shared with me by Guru Lama. He again released this in preparation for the coming year, although needless to say it is extremely powerful even if the year is not lacking of wealth luck, maybe even more if the year is not lacking of wealth luck. It is quite special in a way that it helps create wealth luck or financial luck or money luck even if there is none in the chart. Unlike other amulet where it pulls from other paths in your bazi, this amulet creates wealth. The VAISARAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET is an amulet rediscovered by Guru Lama in one of the holy tantric scriptures. Because I have written about this extensively, I will no longer discuss it fully here, but you can check the following posts to understand it more:

Now that I have mentioned one of the most important aspect of the bazi chart of the year, and how can we deal with it, allow me to discuss further what is instore for the year base on its basket of elements in the bazi chart or path chee chart.

Looking at the Bazi Chart of the 2018 Year of the Earth Dog, we should all be reminded that it is a year, that is not just about money. Especially when we consider the Flying Stars formula, which I’m going to discuss in the 2nd part of this forecast, we will notice it is about a year where success is not measured by money, as it should not be. It is a year when financial success is not only the measure of success, and so those who persevere will reap a different kind of harvest, not financial but career or personal success or fulfillment.

It is also a good year for us to prepare the path for a better future. I know money is important and that preparing the path for a better future is difficult with money, thus the need for the Special Gold Piyao and the VAISRVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET, but this year one should focus more on the future, on the long term, rather than just on the present and the now.

Whatever one does, it is important that one should think twice or thrice. Do not be hasty in anything, especially in making a decision. Do not be timid but do not be hasty. Weigh things properly so that you are sure you are not running into a financial trap.

Do not be impatient. The year will favor those hardworking people who shows determination. Be determined, even if sometimes you think your plan or your hard work is not paying off, study the situation, understand the problems but continue to be hardworking and be determined in what you want to achieve. If the goal is not personal or professional success but rather financial or wealth or money in nature, and you don’t have the Special Gold Piyao or the VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET, remember that financial success is not the only basis whether your hard work is paying off, and that success need not come within the year

This is a year when one has to be careful in using one’s resources, whatever nature of this resources is. Be it wealth, or support, or any other resources. This is a year when resources get depleted but is not replenished easily. Thus, this is also a year that favors those who have a good inner chi or life chi.

Those born in the year of the Dragon, Rabbit, Tiger, and Ox has naturally strong inner chi or life chi, although this may vary based on your bazi chart or path chee chart. These signs will be able to fare better this year than the rest of the Chinese animal zodiac. One of the most powerful thing to do to create inner chi and/or life chi is to wear an image of Earth Store Bodhisattva (also known as Di Zhang Wang Pu Sa or Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva) made of gold. Actually, this form the second trinity in the Holy Trinity of Amulets for the year.

ksitigarbha statue

Again, if using an image of Ksitigarbha at home, I prefer to use the one with the crown, unless, he is placed the ancestral altar.

While this is not yet the annual forecast for each of the Chinese animal zodiac, it is important to say that those born in the year of the Rat and Pig, base on the year’s bazi chart are the most affected with the year’s somewhat negative energies. These two signs might feel lethargic and down, and they should remember to persevere and gather some inner strength.

As I always say, a year is seldom all bad or all good. That’s just the way it is, and so for the good part is that in term of yin – yang, the year is quite balanced. There are two yin pillars and two yang pillars on the chart, and this means that people who tend to be abusive might mellow a little, and those who are oppressed will be more heard now. This is also a very positive outlook for women’s rights, especially this year where the #MeToo campaign started again, the coming 2018 will show more of a balanced relationship between men and women.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, depends on how you look at it, and maybe where you live, the chart also shows there is an overpowering presence of the wood element, which for this year signifies authority. This means that there is enough power or energy for rule of law to prevail. However, this is also the same element that gives power and energy to authority. This means people in authority will enjoy their power, now this may be good or bad depending on what kind of leaders we have. If it becomes unbalanced this means people who are in the position of absolute power or unquestioned power will become authoritarian. The only good news is that authority here doesn’t just refer to people who are in power. This also refers to people who have great life chi, so it means people who have a strong commanding star or commanding energy may be able to rule over those potential authoritarians. It is not charm that will work it is the show of command or power that will work this year. For those who want to have more authority, one can wear an image of Kuan Kong (also spelled or called as Guan Gong, or Kuan Yu, Guan Yu, Qie Lan Pu Sa, Guan Te Ya, Kuan Te Ya) or a Vajrapani Ruel.

Some Feng Shui experts says that this is a year where common sense will prevail over irrational hotheads and troublemakers. This I’m not sure, but I guess it is only possible if the majority is of common sense and not of irrational behavior.

Largely, I believe how this energy will take effect will largely depend on the sign and Bazi Chart of a leader. In this sense, I think 2018 is going to be a challenging year for POTUS Donald Trump, this is a year where if he continuous to act the way he does, might show his downfall, or at least the start of it. Other leaders like him will start to feel that pressure also but then again, it still depends on their personal Bazi Chart. I would like to categorically say now that I will not write about the president of the Philippines.

The strong presence of wood my also signify an increase in natural calamities. Will discuss in a future post.

Another good news is that this year the Bazi Chart or Paht Chee Chart forms a powerful star called Jiang Xing. This is a very auspicious star in the sense that it helps bring in wealth also, and furthermore it brings auspicious fortune to a person who knows how to activate it. The Star Jiang Xing serves as a charm for a person to stand out, and this year standing out and getting noticed is important if you are not to be put aside, and also standing out is important for people to remember you and for your battle or in your quest to have more money. The Jiang Xing also gives you authority and a sense of trustworthiness. To summarize it brings wealth and recognition. But the unfortunate thing is that this star needs to be activated this year, because we solely lack metal element and it relies on metal element to be really powerful. So again, wearing more gold specially the Special Gold Piyao gives strength to this star. But more importantly, it is very important that one wears the combine power of the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS AMULET and the LAMA ATISHA AMULET placed in a metal amulet holder. Placing them in a metal amulet holder is very important because we need metal. But more than activating the Jiang Xing, the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS AMULET and the LAMA ATISHA AMULET are also very powerful protective amulet and FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS AMULET is also a very powerful wish fulfilling amulet. And this year, wish fulfilling is actually very important. This combined amulet actually forms the third amulet of the Holy Trinity of Amulet of the year.

This is an amulet that has been featured before and was released before, however, it is now placed in a metal casing. You can read more about it here:

As you can see, while there may be a cause for concern this year, this year is not at all bad. While the lack of wealth opportunities may be a little bothersome, we should remember that there are tools for us to use already so that we can make things better. The Holy Trinity of Amulets for the year is an important must – have regardless of your sign and stature in life. The major concerns are lack of wealth, and the general atmosphere of low inner chi and/or life chi. Even the Ox, Rabbit, Tiger, and Dragon who are considered to have a stronger inner chi and/or life chi will also be faced by a lot of challenges which may fall into a depletion of these energies. But these concerns are addressed by having either the Special Gold Piyao or the VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET, and the concern about inner chi or life chi can be addressed by wearing a gold pendant of the image of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha (also called Di Zhang Wang Pu Sa or Bodhisattva Earth Store).

Lastly, we are lucky enough to have the Jiang Xing which is a star that brings wealth and recognition, but we have to activate this with the combined amulets FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS AMULET and the LAMA ATISHA AMULET in a metal casing.

And while this year maybe not as good as other years in terms of wealth, we will be presented an opportunity to truly realize that wealth or money should not be the only measure of success. This year we will have the opportunity to grow ourselves psychologically, emotionally, mentally. And this year we will be able to see our inner strength. We should learn to be hardworking, and have determination, but more importantly we should all have faith… faith in yourself, faith that things will always get better, and faith in a higher being, whether that is Allah, Buddha, or God. And allow me to share what a good friend and reader shared with me before: LET OUR FAITH BE STRONGER THAN OUR FEARS!

The Challenging Last Quarter of the Year: What to Do and How to Protect Oneself (Part 2) – Chant – A – Mantra (15)

Published Oktubre 26, 2017 by jptan2012

In the first part of this post which was posted last week, I talked about how the energies of the year has started to be quite challenging. To make it easier for you to understand it, I have taken to share the article here again:

Late last year, I wrote that the lunar year 2017 would become challenging at the start of the 3rd quarter until the last quarter. The third quarter dawn upon us a lot of calamities both manmade (economic/political) and it is very likely that there is something that has started in the 3rd quarter whose effect we will feel this last quarter of the lunar year (November, December, January) or will feel it’s effect next lunar year, which starts in February 16, 2018.

The remaining energies of the year is not very nice, it is quite hostile, and this would most likely be felt in the financial aspect, although technically speaking all fronts are affected – personal, health, and political or even natural aspect.

There will be some economic of financial imbalanced and money will be quite hard to come in, so it is highly advisable for you everyone to have a strong wealth or money amulet. The VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET is a very good amulet to have because it helps ensure stability and it helps create not just attracts money luck or wealth luck or financial luck.

Politically speaking, and even personally level, it might be a little more chaotic, so politicians are advised to have the Ruyi to strengthen their power and or the Vajrapani Ruel. On a personal level this will manifest in having more arguments, blockage to success or career path and also lost of support.

Health wise some people might be more prone to accidents and/or illness, thus it would be nice to have the gold Kalachakra pendant and/or the Illness Suppression Amulet.

Overall speaking, one has to protect oneself and wearing images of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas should help. I personally suggest wearing the image of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (also known as Earth Store Bodhisattva or Di Zhang Wang Pu Sa). I also strongly recommend for one to wear the FOUR DHARMAKYA RELIC MANTRAS WITH THE LAMA ASTISHA AMULET, an amulet that I have previously written. You can read more about it by clicking here.

It is also highly advisable for everybody to start saving up and plan for long-term financial investments.

If it’s any relevance, it is not only me who is saying this, other reputable Feng Shui experts or writers are saying the same thing. The world famous Malaysian Chinese Feng Shui expert and writer, Lillian Too, has also announced the same thing. A friend told me that she has shared some mantras that you can chant to protect yourself by downloading her video for a fee.

As for me, I have shared with you the amulets that one would need to protect oneself from these hostile energies brought about by the last quarter.

However, as per consultation with Guru Lama, there some mantras that you can chant also. Please note that these mantras should be chanted under deep meditation, with a minimum of 108x (one full mala) or under extreme condition, chant 10 full malas of 1,080x each.

The protection mantras one should recite are the following:

Mantra of Buddha Amitabha: OM AMI DEWA HRIH

Mantra of Medicine Buddha: TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA

Mantra of Buddha Namgyalma: OM BHRUM SOHA OM AMARITA AYUR DADAY SOHA

Note: Buddha Namgyalma is powerful protector Buddha.

Mantra of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara: OM MANI PADME HUM

Note: Avalolitesvara Bodhisattva is also known as Guan Shi Yin / Guan Yin / Kuan Shi Yin / Kuan Yin / Quan Shi Yin / Quan Yin / Kannon / Goddess of Mercy / Bodhisattva of Compassion / Chenrezig.

Mantra of Bodhisattva Earth Store: OM AH KSITIGARBGA THALENG HUM

Note: Earth Store Bodhisattva is also known as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

Mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani: OM VAJRAPANI HUM

Mantra of the White Umbrella Goddess – Ushnisha Sitataputra: TADYATHA OM ANALE ANALE KHASAME KHASAME BHAYRE BHAYRE SAUMA SAUME SARVA BUDDHA ADISTHANA ADISHTHITE SOHA OM SARVA TATHAGATHA USHNISHA SITATAPUTRA HUM PHAT HUM MAMA HUM NE SOHA

Protective Mantra of Tantric Deity Kalachakra: OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT

Mantra of King Vaisravana of the Four Heavenly Kings: OM VAISRAVANA YE SOHA

Mantra of Yellow Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE SOHA

If you find yourself extremely affected in the financial aspect and you don’t have the VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET, aside from the above mantras you can add the following:

Mantra of the Wealth Granting Tara: OM TARE TUTTARE TURE DANAM ME DADA SOHA

Mantra of the Green Dzambhala: OM KARMA DZAMBHALA AH SOHA

Mantra of the White Dzambhala: OM PADMO KRODA ARYA DZAMBHALA HRIH DAYA HUM PHAT

Mantra of the Red Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE DANAM MEDIHI HRIH DAKINI DZAMBHALA SAMBHARA SOHA

Mantra of the Blue/Black Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE BASHU DHARINI SOHA

The Four Heavenly Kings: Getting to Know Four Powerful Buddhist Gods that Helps Bestow Wealth, Success, Peace, and Protection.

Published Agosto 30, 2017 by jptan2012

Today is a very good day and an exciting day (please note that actual writing and date of posting are usually different from each other) for me and in a way for my regular readers and believers of Feng Shui and Buddhism it should be a good day for you also, because today is the day I was told by my Guru Lama to share with you about the Four Heavenly Kings.four heavenly kings

The Four Heavenly Kings has been featured in numerous Buddhist Sutras, one of which is in The Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva; Earth Store Bodhisattva is also known as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva or Di Zhang Pu Sa. In this particular sutra, Sakyamuni Buddha (The Historical Buddha) directly addressed the Four Heavenly Kings to help propagate the Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva. They were also prominently mentioned in the highly revered Golden Light Sutra.

It is said that those who recite the Golden Light Sutra will be protected by the Four Heavenly Kings themselves. Furthermore, those who recite and keep the Lotus Sutra will also be protected by the Four Heavenly Kings.

From this we can see that the Four Heavenly Kings are powerful protector Buddhist gods, however, as you read on you will that they don’t only protect us but they each also have a specific function which is different from each other.

At this point, I would like to clarify that the Four Heavenly Kings are gods in the Buddhist pantheon; it means they are not yet Bodhisattvas or Buddhas, and they serve the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas.

Again, The Four Heavenly Kings are Buddhist gods, each of who watches over their assigned cardinal direction of the world. The cardinal directions are East, West, North, and South. In Chinese they are originally known or called as “Fēng Tiáo Yǔ Shùn” (風調雨順), which literally translates to “Good climate”, but in the translation in the Chinese version of sutras they are called “Sì Dà Tiānwáng” (四大天王) which means “Four Great Heavenly Kings”.four heavenly kings 2

In most Chinese Buddhist Temples, one will normally see the THE HEAVENLY KINGS HALL. This is usually one of the first most majestic halls one will see.

The Four Heavenly Kings resides in Mt. Sumeru, a celestial and cosmic mountain where the heavens are. They are also the protector of the world and they fight evil, each of the 4 Heavenly Kings are able to command a legion of supernatural creatures to protect the Dharma or people who follow the Dharma.

Each of the Four Heavenly Kings serves Sakra, the of the devas (gods) of the Trayastrimsha Heaven. In Buddhism there are many heavens, and the Tranyastrimsha Heaven is the heaven nearest to our world, which is called Jambvudpiva is Buddhist sutras.

Although they are more commonly called as the Four Heavenly Kings, each one of them has a name and their specific directions and functions. Allow me to introduce to you the Four Heavenly Kings:

VAISRAVANA (He Who Hears Everything)Vaisravana.

  • Is the chief of the Four Heavenly Kings and is the main protector of the cardinal direction North. He is sometimes likened to Bodhisattva Kuan Yin (also spelled or called as Quan Yin, Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Quan Shi Yin, Avalokitesvara, Kannon, Chenrezig, Bodhisattva of Compassion, Goddess of Mercy) whose literal translation is THE WHO HEAR THE CRIES OF THE WORLD.
  • Vaisravana is also known as Kubera, Namtose (Namthose), Vessavana, Thao Kuwen, Wetsawan, Wetsuwan, Wéthawún Nat Min, Duō Wén Tiānwáng.
  • Vaisravana is the rule of water or rain, which is also the element that represents wealth or money. The umbrella or the pagoda are his symbolic weapons. Vaisravana is considered as a very powerful god of wealth.
  • In fact, Vaisravana rules over the famous gods of weatlh, which are the Five Dzambhalas (also spelled as Dzambhala, Dzambala, Jambala, Jambhala, Zambhala, Zambala) namely Red Dzambhala, Yellow Dzambhala, White Dzambhala, Black or Blue Dzambhala, and Green Dzambhala. He rules over the Dzambhalas amongst other Yaksha (also spelled as Yaksa) which are generals of the heavenly realm.
  • Vaisravana is often associated with the colors yellow and green.
  • Symbols of Vaisravana: Umbrella, Stupa, Pagoda, Mongoose
  • Cardinal Direction: North

VIRUDHAKA (He Who Causes To Grow)Virudhaka

  • Is the king of the South. He is the ruler of the wind. And is the god who helps cause good growth of roots or crops.
  • His symbolic weapon is the sword, which he carries in his right hand to protect the Dharma and also to symbolize power over ignorance.
  • Virudhaka is also known as Virūḷhaka, Thao Wirunhok, Virúlaka Nat Min, Zēng Zhǎng Tiānwáng, Zōchō-ten, Jeungjang-cheonwang,
  • Virudhaka rules over Kumbhanda, which are a group of dwarfish spirits and is considered as one of the lesser deities in Buddhism.
  • Virudhaka is often associated with the color blue.
  • Symbol of Virudhaka: Sword
  • Cardinal Direction: South

DHRTARASTRA (He Who Upholds the Realm)Dhrtarastra

  • Is the king that rules over East. He is also considered as the God of Music.
  • His symbolic weapon is a stringed instrument called pipa.
  • It is said that Dhrtarastra uses music to convert all sentient beings to Buddhism. While all of the Four Heavenly Kings are harmonious and compassionate, Dhrtarastra is considered to be a god that helps promotes harmony and compassion.
  • Dhrtarastra is also known as Dhrutharashṭa, Thao Thatarot, Daddáratá Nat Min, Chí Guó Tiānwáng, Jikoku-ten, Jiguk-cheonwang, Yülkhorsung.
  • Dhrtarastra rule over the gandharvas, which are male nature spirits that has superb heavenly and celestial musical skills. They are part animal usually a bird or a horse, and acts as messenger between gods and humans.
  • Dhrtarastra are often associated with the color white.
  • Symbol of Dhrtarastra: Pipa
  • Cardinal Direction: East.

VIRUPAKSA ( He Who Sees All)Virupaksa

  • Is the king that rules over the West. He is considered as the one who sees everything that happens in the Dharma world.
  • His symbolic weapons are snake or a red cord that is representative of a dragon.
  • It is said the Virupaksa watches over us in the sky, and that when we solemnly call on him in time of danger, he will guard and protect us. And if you are not Buddhist and for some reason knows a lot of Buddhism, it is said that it Virupaksa is the one who feeds you these informations.
  • Virupaksa is also known as Virūpakkha, Virūpaksha, Thao Wirupak, Virúpekka Nat Min, Guăng Mù Tiānwáng, Kōmoku-ten, Gwangmok-cheonwang,
  • Virupaksa rules over the Nagas, which is a deity that has taken the form of a very great snake.
  • Virupaksa is often associated with the color red.
  • Symbols of Virupaksa: Snake, Stupa, Pearl.
  • Cardinal Direction: West

According to Guru Lama praying to the Four Heavenly Kings will provide us with wealth and prosperity (thru King Vaisravana), success and progress (thru King Virudhaka), peace and harmony (thru King Dhrtarastra) and, good health and protection from danger (thru King Virupaksa). Placing their images at home also serves as one of the most powerful protection amulet one can have.

Guru Lama shares with me a story about how when he was assigned by the Dalai Lama to leave Dharamsala, India to help spread Buddhism and build temple in other parts of Asia, he has personally tapped into the blessings and power of the Four Heavenly Kings.

That was a few decades ago and when he left India, he was only given small amount money to travel and spread the Dharma and eventually build a temple. Guru Lama said he was a little apprehensive because a few years back they just left Tibet because of Chinese oppression, and when he was asked to leave again to spread the Dharma, he was apprehensive and really nervous even though he was excited and felt honored to be entrusted with the task of spreading the Dharma.

A few months before leaving India, he started preparing himself physically and mentally to this overwhelming task. He would always meditate on the teaching of the different sutras and would always draw strength from Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (aka Kuan Yin, Quan Yin, Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Quan Shi Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Chenrezig, Kannon) and Bodhisattva Vajrapani. One night in his sleep he received a vision that Vajrapani Bodhisattva visited him and that he was shown the images of the Four Heavenly Kings. Upon waking up he knew then that he would need the help of the Four Heavenly Kings to help progress in his endeavor.

This totally make sense, because if you go back to the description of the Four Heavenly Kings, he will need wealth and prosperity to help build a temple, success and progress so that people will see the good side of what he was about to do, peace and harmony so that he can transmute that feeling to the people around him, good health for this overwhelming task, and protection to ensure that he doesn’t come to harm’s way in spreading the Dharma.

And so my Guru Lama started worshipping and praising the Four Heavenly Kings by making offerings to them and by chanting the mantras of the Four Heavenly Kings. He also vigorously recited The Golden Light Sutra, and The Lotus Sutra (full title is called “Sūtra on the White Lotus of the Sublime Dharma”). And the rest is history. According to Guru Lama he was able to become an instrument into building a temple and building a Sangha (Buddhist community) with relative ease. Money for the temple just kept on pouring in.

Note: To this day Guru Lama still actively participate in building temples. The stipulated donation from the amulets goes to the feeding of the monks or building temples or making of images of Buddhas or Bodhisattvas.

And so today, again for the first time, I want to share with you a powerful mantra that will help you attract wealth and prosperity, success and progress, peace and harmony, lastly, good health and protection, you can recite the mantras of each of the Four Heavenly Kings.

Here are the mantras of each of the Four Heavenly Kings:

  1. For Wealth and Prosperity recite the Mantra of King Vaisravana: OM VAISRAVANA YE SOHA
  2. For Success and Progress in Life recite the Mantra of King Virudhaka: OM VIRUDHAKA KUMBHANDADHIPATA YE SOHA
  3. For Peace and Harmony recite the Mantra of King Dhrtarastra: OM DHRTARASTRA RALAPRAVADHAHA SOHA
  4. For Good Health and Protection recite the Mantra of King Virupaksa: OM VIRUPAKSA NAGA DHIPATA YE SOHA

Singapore’s Success Is Attributed to A Clever But Risky Feng Shui Cure!

Published Hulyo 26, 2017 by jptan2012

Singapore is one of the most successful and progressive countries not only in Asia but also in the world. For such a small country with no natural resources, it has turned itself around from a poor third world country to a first world country.

Obviously, they were lucky enough to have hard working and sincere leaders who truly love their country. But, without undermining the efforts of their leaders and of their citizens, it is said that Feng Shui plays a big factor in their progress and success.

The Merlion in itself is said to guard and symbolized progress. In a much earlier post I also have talked about the dragon doors of Singapore, but perhaps one of the most innovative Feng Shui application that they did is to have all Singaporeans carry a Bagua, which symbolizes an equal balance of life’s aspirations.

At that time, they were having a big problem about Singapore’s progress. A Feng Shui master suggested that everyone should have Bagua, but they cannot force everybody to do it, because (1) not all Singaporeans are Chinese, (2) not everybody believes in Feng Shui. The solution is to come up with the one Singapore dollar in a bagua form. They later on extended this with some of their bills having the bagua sign. Furthermore, after a while they had the license sticker for their cars have the shape of the bagua also.sgd1

The Singaporean government has not acknowledged whether this is true or not, but it will certainly make you wonder why would the bagua symbol be found in their money.singaporemoney

I would like to add though that the use of Bagua, contrary to popular belief, is not always suggested by responsible Feng Shui experts or masters, because a slight mistake in the placement and/or in the application it can cause more problems that good chi. In fact, these days the bagua is only suggested as a last resort and also is applied with extreme caution. A Feng Shui master should always manage the placing of bagua. If somebody suggest you put a bagua without checking the location or without personally managing or overlooking it, then it is a sure sign that that person is not a real or is not a responsible Feng Shui consultant.

Chant – A – Mantra 8: Creating An Auric Amulet (1000 Days of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Mantra for a Good Prosperous Life and Ultimate Protection)

One of the most common question people ask me is whether we all really need an amulet. What if we don’t have one does that mean success and luck and protection is going to be more elusive?

The answer to this is that amulets are simply but tools for us to continuously tap into the energies or blessings or power of the Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deity to which an amulet is made from. And it is an effective means of tapping into said power. In fact, His Holiness the  Dalai Lama when escaping the Chinese oppression and flee Tibet to India is said to have carried a powerful amulet and a Kalachakra with him. The current and acknowledged 17th Karmapa is said to have a Vajrapani Ruel with him, also another Tibetan Monk who was sent to hard labor and was considered as a political prisoner was also believed to have been given a Vajrapani Ruel to pave the way for his release. You can read the last two stories in a post entitled – VAJRAPANI RUEL STORIES: THE 17TH KARMAPA’S RELATIVELY EASY ESCAPE; THE MIRACULOUS RELEASE OF A TIBETAN MONK FROM CHINESE PRISON AND LABOR CAMP; AND THE WEALTH LUCK BESTOWED UPON THE PRODIGAL SON. So we cannot deny the importance and relevance of carrying or wearing an amulet. However, the truth is the best amulets are those that are aurically created. Something that is not physically tangible but is strong enough to give us physical and psychically protect us and also gives us some of our heart’s wishes.

KsitigarbhaThere are many ways to ‘make’ such an amulet, however, it takes times and some are quite difficult to create and requires a very strong inner chi and deep knowledge of the spiritual esoteric practices or rituals.

Nevertheless, on THE SUTRA ON THE PAST VOWS OF EARTH STORE BODHISATTVA (Earth Store Bodhisattva is also known as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva) Shakyamuni Buddha (also spelled as Sakyamuni Buddha and also called as Historical Buddha) shared with us one way to make auric amulet. An amulet that is not physically tangible. It does take time to make an amulet but according to my Guru Lama it is one of the most powerful amulet one can have. In fact, according to my Guru Lama when done properly one can also experience an abundance of wealth and financial luck as well as happy life. He is not taking this simply base on the said sutra, but rather he has recommended this to a Singaporean vendor several years ago and who after doing this went to become a very successful and rich businessman.

How to make this auric amulet?

First, it will be easier to do this is you have an image of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha OR A copy of THE SUTRA OF THE PAST VOWS OF EARTH STORE BODHISATTVA. Light an incense and chant mantra NAMO DA YUAN DI ZHANG WANG PU SA 1000 times a day for 1000 days (which is a little more than 3 years). By doing this, Lord Brahma and Lord Shakra, will always protect you and no harm will come to you and your family, on top of that they will be channel of auspicious blessings that will come your way.

This is a copy of the traditional SUTRA OF THE PAST VOWS OF BODHISATTVA KSITIGARBHA that my Guru Lama sent me.

NOTE: It has to be the mantra NAMO DA YUAN DI ZHANG WANG PU SA and not the other forms of mantra for this ritual to be effective.

Note: Will write about Lord Brahma and Lord Shakra in future articles.

I know it’s quite long but technically speaking it is not long for something so powerful. According to my Guru Lama doing this will give you an auric amulet that may even be more powerful than the Vajrapani Ruel. And the Vajrapani Ruel is considered as one of the most powerful amulet in the Buddhist pantheon, in fact, a lot of those who requested for it has shared their wonderful personal testimonies.

Remember this has to be done everyday; you miss a day you have to start all over again.

To avoid confusion, you can simply chant 10 full malas, which is equivalent to 1080 a day. My Guru Lama said chanting more than 1000 of the Earth Store Bodhisattva mantra is fine as long as it is not less than 1000 a day.
