Clarifications on the Post About the 2014 Hungry Ghost Month and Mercury Retrograde

Published Hunyo 20, 2014 by jptan2012

I know that the information shared on this blog the other day about the 2014 Hungry Ghost Month and Mercury Retrograde entitled – WHAT EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THE 2014 HUNGRY GHOST MONTH AND MERCURY RETROGRADE – & – PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THE ILL EFFECTS OF THE 2014 HUNGRY GHOST MONTH AND MERCURY RETROGRADE – can be a little overwhelming for a lot of you. Almost immediately I was bombarded by literally hundreds of emails, which I really haven’t read. On top of that, there were also an overwhelming number of sms that was sent to me, not to mention several phone calls.

I thought it is only appropriate to clarify something for everybody’s better understanding of the topic.

First, Mercury Retrograde is as mentioned a Western Astrology concept, I’m not an expert and I don’t have mastery of the said topic, however, I know it to be true because:

  1. I know that Western Astrology to be true. Before I dwelt on Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology, Western Astrology was my first interest. My personal bias is that Chinese Astrology is more accurate but it doesn’t change the fact that Western Astrology has some basis.
  2. Mercury Retrograde is a concept that I have read before. In fact, several years back. There are also some famous people who have claimed that they experienced Mercury Retrograde and that it has affected their relationship and work. Some of these people are Ronald Reagan, Cameron Mackintosh, Shirley Maclaine, etc.
  3. The few times I got to meet some reputable Astrologer, this is something that we’ve discussed. And they are all in agreement that this is true.
  4. Particularly this year, when June set in a lot of people have been complaining to me about their relationship problems and communication problems, which prompted me to do more research about this topic.
  5. I believe that it is stronger this year because of several factors that may affect it to become stronger. This is just theory and I didn’t included in the first two article because it is quite difficult for me to substantiate this, but the stronger Hungry Ghost Month this year might be making Mercury Retrograde stronger also.

Second, the stronger Hungry Ghost Month phenomenon is not something new. Although rare it has been known to happen. And it is different from what happened last year, because last year we had a triple whammy, but this year it is simply stronger Hungry Ghost Month that we have to deal with it, and because it is stronger, it also extends itself. As mentioned, I’ve consulted other Feng Shui experts, particularly my teachers; most of them agree that this is indeed the case. However, I would like to clarify that there is one particular Feng Shui expert that said that they (group that she works with) are not sure whether this is an interpretation concern. Meaning, they saw it but they seem to think that this is still subject to further discussion. They are drawing their unclear stand from the ‘Double Negative Theory’; this theory states that in some aspects of Feng Shui a double negative may be a positive sign.

Third, regarding the cures for the 2014 Hungry Ghost Month and Mercury Retrograde, I would like to reiterate that something is still way better than nothing at all.prayer

Lastly, we should not under estimate the power of a prayer. In fact, if you look at the suggested cure, a lot of it is drawing power or protection from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and sutras (Buddhist holy texts that are considered prayer books) and mantras, which is a form of praying. On top of this, I personally believe is also going to create some form of protection. Do good deeds, help people, help people you know, but more than that help people that you don’t know. Do something that is beyond what is JUST COMFORTABLE. The positive energy created by a very good deed is a very powerful protection, and remember a good deed is not measure by how many people you help or by how much you spent. A good deed is measured by sincerity, the amount of compassion you have, and how much of you was shared.

Protect Yourself from the Ill Effects of the 2014 Hungry Ghost Month and Mercury Retrograde

Published Hunyo 18, 2014 by jptan2012

In my previous post – WHAT EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THE 2014 HUNGRY GHOST MONTH AND MERCURY RETROGRADE, I talked about how the combined effect of the annual and monthly flying stars and of the annual and monthly Bazi or Paht Chee are making this year’s Hungry Ghost Month so much stronger that its effects will be felt 15 days before the first day of the Hungry Ghost month which is on July 27, 2014 up to 15 days after its supposed last day which is August 24, 2014. This phenomenon is made worse with the last Mercury Retrograde periods of the year sandwiching this year’s Hungry Ghost month, leaving us with about 5 challenging months in succession.

At the start of the year, a lot of Feng Shui writers and consultants talked about how the first part of the year will show an abundance of luck for most people, and how towards the end of the year it will get depleted. This was obvious on the year’s Paht Chee chart; but nowhere was a definitive explanation of the cause discussed. It is actually only by accident that I came across a possible explanation. I believe the effects of both Mercury Retrograde and the particularly strong Hungry Ghost Month of the year occurring in succession explains why the energy of the year gets depleted towards the end of the year.

As mentioned in my previous blog post, as I wanted to validate my reading of the year’s annual and monthly flying stars and Paht Chee charts especially in relation to the year’s Hungry Ghost Month, I decided to call first my Feng Shui teacher in Hong Kong, and my Guru Lama in Singapore. Both of them confirmed the said phenomenon. After writing the previous blog post, and just before writing this one, I decided to call another Feng Shui teacher from Beijing, China, and he also confirmed the said phenomenon. Lastly, I was also able to discuss the matter with other Feng Shui consultants, who likewise acknowledged the phenomenon. Certain experts, however, are not sure whether they will be discussing it through any of their avenues because of two reasons: (1) they are not sure whether the effects are in fact going to be really bad (this goes into interpretations of the resulting calculations) and (2) if in fact the effects will be very bad, they are not sure whether remedies exist to successfully counter the effects.

In the course of writing this entry, I decided to call another Feng Shui teacher. This particular Feng Shui teacher practices Transcendental Feng Shui, which is also known as Spiritual or Third Dimension Feng Shui. Like the other Feng Shui experts that I consulted, he acknowledges the said phenomenon and like my Guru Lama he believes that we can do something about it.

Before I go into discussing how one can protect oneself from this phenomenon, let me explain that the recommendations below are an aggregation of the different recommendations that I gathered from my Guru Lama, Feng Shui teachers, and a few of my own recommendations based on my own experience. Also, it would be of course best if you follow all the recommendations; and, needless to state, following some is better than following none of them. I would also like to point out that it was a reader who since then has become a good friend, DU, who pointed out this direction of how to remedy this phenomenon.

Always have with you the following:

  1. Kuan Yin pendant, preferably with a sutra.
This is from my personal collection. The reason I love this pendants so much is because it has a inscription of the Heart Sutra at the back. I wear the smaller one everyday.

Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to look for this kind of Kuan Yin pendant.

  2. Chong Kwei (also spelled as Chung Kwei) or Mahakala (a wrathful image of Avalokitesvara or Kuan Yin) pendant. To be honest I’ve been looking for a Mahakala pendant and I’m unable to find one. For this year, according to my Guru Lama, Mahakala is preferred but no one can deny the efficacy of a Chong Kwei pendant during the Hungry Ghost month. Please take into consideration that he may be partial to Mahakala because he is a Buddhist Lama and Chong Kwei is of a Taoist lineage. Your Chong Kwei should be made of a black stone or gold.

This is a rare black jade pendant image of Chung Kwei. Was fortunate enough to find one in Beijing, China in a small shop. Remember in choosing a Chong Kwei or Chung Kwei or Zhung Kwei or Zhong Kwei, always get a something that's made of a black stone or gold. Otherwise, it might not be very effective.

  3. Kalachakra pendant, preferably made of gold or jade or clear quartz.
  4. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva pendant.

From my personal collection. A rare Red Amber Ksitigarbha. Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to get a Ksitigarbha pendant unless you're from Malaysia, Hong Kong, or Singapore.

  5. Wear or carry a Prayer Wheel and spin it as often as you can.
  6. Medicine Buddha pendant or simply carry a Medicine Buddha sutra.
  7. Always carry a Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras or Lama Atisha Amulet with you at all times.

I decided to put THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS inside a test tube type glass holder that I bought in The Bead Shop, then I included the incense ash, Pink Himalayan Salt inside before sealing it. Thank you to DU, a reader and friend who took this photo.

At home and in the office you should have the following:

  1. Figurine of Kuan Yin.
  2. Figurine of Mahakala or Chong Kwei.

This is an image of a Mahakala, the wrathful form of Avalokitesvara or Kuan Yin. Wrathful form doesn't mean that they are really angry, it means that they are largely use for protection. This photo was uploaded from Google images.

  3. Figurine of Medicine Buddha or Kuan Kong. These two are optional.
  4. Figurine of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. It may be pretty difficult to get a figurine of Ksitgarbha Bodhisattva. What you can do instead is print his image, laminate it and put it on your altar. If you don’t have an altar, put them where the other images are.

In looking for an image of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva either as a pendant or a figurine for your home, you will come across with two versions, the one with the 'Amitabha' hat and the one where He is not wearing any hat and shows his bald head. I prefer the one with the hat, because the one where He is bald is usually associated with the spirits of the dead and connotes that he hasn't attain His Buddhahood.

  5. Put Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras or Lama Atisha Amulet on all the doors and windows of your house that are facing the perimeter of your house (living quarters). If you find it difficult to find these, then the second best option would be to use Kalachakra stickers.
  6. Put a small bowl of rock salt in all the rooms of your house.
  7. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: FIX ALL THE FENG SHUI ERRORS OF YOUR HOUSE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE THE YIN EFFECTS OF ALL THESE FENG SHUI ERRORS ARE MULTIPLIED.
  8. Play mantras in all the rooms if possible.

Do the following ‘rituals’:

  1. From July 12, 2014 to Sept. 8, 2014, chant, DAILY, 10 full malas of OM MANI PADME HUM, 10 full malas of the Medicine Buddha Mantra – TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA, and 100 full malas of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s mantra. He has several and you can choose which of the following are you more comfortable with:
    1. OM PRA MANI DANI SOHA
    2. OM AH KSITIGARBHA THALENG HUM
    3. NAMO DI ZHANG WANG PUSA
    4. NAMO KSITIGARBHA BODHISATTVA
  2. Recite both the Wish Fulfilling and Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra.
  3. Do the usual rituals for the Hungry Ghost Month that I’ve written about in the past.
  4. Try to make offerings at the temple or church or give to charity as often as you can.
  5. In reciting the mantra of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, it will be better if you gaze upon his image.
  6. Light some incense and read the following sutras as often as you can – MEDICINE BUDDHA SUTRA and KSITIGARBHA BODHISATTVA SUTRA, which is known as THE SUTRA OF PAST VOWS OF THE EARTH STORE BODHISATTVA. The sutra of the Medicine Buddha is in a blog post that I wrote about Him. Please see link below. If you want a downloadable PDF file of the Sutra of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, please click Earth Store Bodhisattva and KSITIGARBHA BODHISATTVA SUTRA. The two versions are basically the same but slightly differ in the way it was translated. One of the difference is that in one of them Shakyamuni Buddha is simply called Buddha, which is is the more common term in addressing Shakyamuni Buddha is most of the Sutra translations. This is because it is widely accepted that all sutras that we have now are from the time of Shakyamuni Buddha. A sutra is basically a prayer and word of Buddha written in a story or conversation format.
  7. Avoid the usual things that one should avoid during the Hungry Ghost Month.

For the Mercury Retrograde periods (June 7- July 1; October 4 – 25), wear an image of Kuan Kong or Kalachakra, and if possible, wear or carry with you a Prayer Wheel and spin it as often as you can.

Optional for July 12 to Sept. 8 is also to wear the script of the Wish Fulfilling Mantra and the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra.

There are a lot of things mentioned on this post that for some might be hard to understand. For example what really is Hungry Ghost Month, which I didn’t discuss in detail in these 2 posts about the 2014 Hungry Ghost Month, or about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Kuan Yin, four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras, etc. I humbly suggest for you to read some of my previous posts to make you understand things that were discussed here better, or why were such items recommended as a cure.

What Everyone Needs to Know About the 2014 Hungry Ghost Month and Mercury Retrograde

Published Hunyo 18, 2014 by jptan2012

This is perhaps the most important article that I’ll post on this blog for this year and I thank DU for helping me out with this article. Indeed this is the first time I’ve consulted another Feng Shui enthusiast before posting an article.

Lately, I have been receiving a lot of calls, text messages, and emails from people going through a lot of ‘turmoil’ in their life. A lot of them have something to do with relationships, both personal and professional. Also, a number of these people seem to be going through some form of a low life chi: they have started feeling down, feeling low, battling an inner turmoil, and/or getting depressed! Noticeably, a lot of the concerns have something to do with communications.

I believe all the above things I mentioned above are caused by Mercury Retrograde. I’m familiar with the concept of Mercury Retrograde, although it’s a concept of Western Astrology, rather than Feng Shui or Chinese Astrology. I know that whenever Mercury Retrograde occurs, a lot of negative things happen. As I said, I’m only familiar with it but I’m not an expert and do not have mastery of the said topic.

However, based on the site About Astrology, Mercury Retrograde happens 3 to 4 times a year. It is called Mercury Retrograde because the planet Mercury slows down its movement and gives off the illusion that it has stopped moving or has moved backward thus the term “RETROGRADE”.

From what I gather, although there a lot of “negative things” that may happen, Mercury Retrograde is not all bad.

If you wish to understand the concept of Mercury Retrograde better, you can visit the site http://www.astrology.about.com and read for yourself what Mercury Retrograde is all about. For convenience, however, allow me to provide some excerpts from the article written by Molly Hall.

Mercury Madness?:

Mercury is the messenger, and in this time, the delivery is warped or the message gets lost en route. Some people find that their computers go on the fritz or phone lines go down. If you’re at all jittery about it, go ahead and back up your important files.

There can be delays, so give yourself plenty of time to get places. What happens in those down times? Mercury retro is known to be a time of ‘fated’ events — who will you meet? What will be revealed?

A Time-Out:

Mercury retrograde gives us time to catch up with ourselves, and reflect. Something from the past returns in a different form. People, ideas or buried insights that are keys to moving forward, float to the surface. Often it’s felt as a slowed down, contemplative time, and depending on the sign, a chance to go over old ground again, to claim what you missed the first time.

Err on Side of Caution:

There’s a long-held belief that it’s best to avoid making set plans during the Mercury Retrograde. This means holding off on signing contracts, and forming partnerships and alliances. What gets put in writing at this time may turn out to need serious revising after Mercury goes direct. But since tying up loose ends is the domain of retrograde, this type of finalization might fly.

Can you repeat that?:

In our relationships, sometimes we gloss over things that pushed buttons at the time, but which we let slide. What seemed not worth the trouble may reveal itself as a major issue in need of our attention. The Mercury retrograde is a time for review, when the underlying patterns come to light.

Back to the Drawing Board:

Some dreams and goals get lost in the hectic rushing around of daily life. The Mercury Retrograde period can be a rich time of reflection on those longings. This makes it a time for the soul to ponder its destiny. You might look over old journals, review your creative work, muse on serendipities of the past that have pointed you toward your spirit’s calling. It can make the retrograde period a time of solidifying a sense of your personal story and where you’re headed.

What does it mean in each different sign?:

The Mercury retrograde is shaped by the sign through which it is cast. For example, a Mercury retrograde in Cancer turns the mind toward things like family, home and the invisible emotional bonds that connect us. On the other hand, a Mercury retrograde in Aquarius gives it a different spin, with a review of group dynamics, the larger human community, all from a detached perspective.

Making the Most of Mercury Retrograde:

A major cause of stress at Mercury retrograde is frustration from mishaps, things breaking down, computers going black. But if we know it’s cycle, this makes it feel less terminal. If things go pear-shaped, see what’s there to see. Take a break from the usual routine.

Just observe and see what happens, and be open to the past returning for review. If it’s coming back, there’s likely something more to learn or release from it. This can be a good (and productive) time, in its own way.

What is clear from the article is that although it can be a challenging time for us, and a local astrologer told me that Mercury Retrograde will definitely affect 30% to 50% of the world’s population in a negative way, depending on how we act on it it can still be a good time for us.

But why am I writing about Mercury Retrograde? Admittedly, I was bothered since it appears that people are really affected by it considering the rather alarming number of emails, text messages, and calls that I’ve received. This in turn prompted me to do more research about it and study its possible relation to Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology, if any.

Photo Uploaded from Google Images

Photo Uploaded from Google Images

My research and study about its possible relation to Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology led me to ‘discover’ something else about this year’s Hungry Ghost Month. For regular readers of this blog, chances are you’re familiar with the Hungry Ghost Month because this is a topic that I’ve always written about in the past years. For those who are not familiar with it, please read my posts about them. To put it simply, the Hungry Ghost month, which happens on the 7th lunar month of the year, is a month where the hungry ghosts are released so that they can eat. It is believed to be a very bad and dangerous month and most Chinese will avoid going to hospitals and cemeteries during this month. Most Chinese will also avoid signing contracts, traveling, making major decisions, moving houses, getting medical treatment during the Hungry Ghost Month.

Anyway, what I discovered is that this year’s Hungry Ghost month may unfortunately be a lot worse than is normally the case; and this is saying a lot because the Hungry Ghost month is already bad as it is. Before I discuss more about this discovery, let me just point out certain observations regarding the dates of occurrences of Mercury Retrograde and the Hungry Ghost Month for this year.

The second Mercury Retrograde period started June 7 of this year and it will end on the 1st of July. The third period, and I think the last one for the year, is from October 4 to October 25. This year’s Hungry Ghost Month is from July 27 to August 24. You’ll notice that it has been sandwiched by two Mercury Retrograde periods, leaving at least about a month between the end of the second Mercury Retrograde period and the start of the Hungry Ghost Month and also a month between the end of the Hungry Ghost Month and the beginning of the third Mercury Retrograde period. However, this is where it becomes tricky. As mentioned, it is highly probable that this year’s Hungry Ghost Month is going to be more intense than the normal expected yearly Hungry Ghost month. This means that not only will there be a strong and powerful Hungry Ghost month, but also that its effect will be felt 15 days prior to July 27 and 15 days after August 24! Hence, it would appear that there will be a total of approximately 5 challenging months in succession from the second Mercury Retrograde period until the end of the third Mercury Retrograde period.

Returning to my discovery about this year’s Hungry Ghost Month, it is extremely difficult to write about what causes this phenomenon (of the Month being a particularly intense one) because a lot of it will involve explaining several technical terms about the annual flying stars and the monthly flying stars, as well as their relation to the annual Bazi or Paht Chee, again coupled with the Monthly Bazi or Paht Chee! Needless to say, the resulting calculations got me a little worried. I decided that before I start writing about this and cautioning people about it, I’d get confirmation from my Feng Shui teacher in Hong Kong and my Guru Lama in Singapore.

Both of them confirmed this phenomenon although both claimed that this is rare. In fact, my Guru Lama said that this is only the second time he is encountering this situation and he is 78 years old! From the perspective of those who strictly practice straight Feng Shui, there’s not much one can do about this, but in the practice of the Third Dimension, Transcendence, or Spiritual Feng Shui, there’s something that can be done. This relieved me somewhat since a particularly intense Hungry Ghost Month could multiply the effects of the bad Feng Shui of your house, your bad personal Feng Shui, or any negative chi that is brought about by your karma, Paht Chee, or Feng Shui blunders.

During the Hungry Ghost Month, don’t be surprised if big projects might suddenly go awry. It is highly recommended that you finish 15 days prior to July 27 all critical matters that you have to attend to. Also, it would greatly help if you fix all the Feng Shui errors that you know of in your house. Additionally, all of us must carefully watch our health and be wary about going out in the evening.

I admit that I hesitated to write this post because I don’t want to be scaring people. However, I also wanted people to know about these matters because I believe them to be important. This made me look into possible remedies because without these, there would be not much point to sharing the information. In view of these thoughts, I decided to talk to certain people. This is the first time I consulted several people before posting something. One of them is a reader who bought the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant, and has since then become a very good friend. DU, whom I’ve written about, is the person who pointed me to the right direction. My Feng Shui teacher from Hong Kong, who strictly practices straight Feng Shui, felt that there is nothing we can do about this phenomenon. DU refused to believe this and mentioned that mantras should be able to help. This prompted me to call my Guru Lama in Singapore and he did share with me some possible remedies. I consulted people because while the threat of this phenomenon of having an extra strong Hungry Ghost month (sandwiched by 2 Mercury Retrograde periods at that) is I believe a very serious matter, I don’t want to be simply a doomsday prophet.

Again, as I always say, what’s the importance of knowing something if one can’t prevent it from happening or at the very least if one can’t have a remedy against it. While people who are into straight Feng Shui believe that there’s nothing we can do about this, those who practice the Transcendence/Spiritual/Third Dimension of Feng Shui believe that there are some things that we can do to protect us from the ill effects of this phenomenon.

On my next post called PROTECTING OURSELVES FROM THE ILL EFFECTS OF THE 2014 HUNGRY GHOST MONTH AND MERCURY RETROGRADE, you’ll get to read on how we can prepare for the ill effects of the phenomenon mentioned on this particular post.

Receive Showers of Blessings by Tapping Two of the Most Powerful Mantras!

Published Pebrero 18, 2012 by jptan2012

A little over a month ago, I wrote about the power of mantras in a post entitled MANTRA: THE INSTRUMENT TO TAP THE POWER OF SYMBOLIC SCRIPT, SOUND, AND THOUGHT. In that particular post I discussed what is mantra and how it works.

Today, I would like to share with you on how you can receive showers of blessings by tapping two of the most powerful mantras. I’ve mentioned about these mantras in that particular post but I want to talk about it again and share with you some stories about people who had benefitted from these mantras.

The symbolic Script of the Wish Fulfilling Mantra

The mantra I’m talking about are the WISH-GRANTING WHEEL MANTRA more popularly known as the WISH FULFILLING MANTRA – OM PADMO USHNISHA VIMALE HUM PHAT and the NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA – OM HANU PHASHA (sometimes spelled as PASHA) BHARA HE YE SO HA.

Symbolic Script of the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra – OM HANU PASHA BHARA HE YE SOHA

The Wish Fulfilling Mantra and the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra are two of the most powerful mantras given to us by the Buddhas themselves. They are equally as powerful as the Mantra of the Buddha of Compassion, Kuan Yin or Avalokitesvara – OM MANI PADME HUM, or the Mantra of the Medicine Buddha – TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA.

Let me discuss first the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra OM HANU PASHA BHARA HE YE SOHA. Sometimes, you’ll find that some of the things that we long for are always ‘within reach’ but some thing will always happen that will prevent us from getting it. For example, wealth loss through a business project gone bad, or career advancement with higher pay that went to somebody else, or wealth that was swindled away from us, etc. The truth is sometimes this is cause by our negative karma who may be blocking some of the positive chi. Reciting the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra will help unblock these blockages and make us more open to receiving luck or blessings.

A friend’s father has been working really hard for the biggest project of his career life. By closing the said deal would be akin to winning the lottery and after about a year, he did close the deal and a few more months after he got the money, but after about 2 weeks he had a stroke! The prognosis of the doctor is really bad and they were told that his father would not be able to walk or move on his own again. Clearly, he won’t be able to enjoy the fruits of his hard work.

My friend called me to ask me whether his father’s BAZI or Paht Chee analysis will be able to shed some light as to why this happened. I worked on his father’s BAZI and saw that he is in a particular stage of his life wherein he would have enjoyed financial wealth, however, it also indicated that he is at a critical stage of his life. The BAZI as I read it didn’t indicate death, neither did it indicate health problem; all I can discern with the analysis is that he is at this critical stage. Naturally, because of what he is going through, I would have to just assume that the ‘critical’ stage refers to his medical condition. This means also that it could only be because of a strong karmic influence. Whether past life or not I’m not sure.

I explained this to my friend and he requested whether Feng Shui could do anything to help the condition of his father. I told him to use some Feng Shui cures but told him that since this may be karmic, it may be beyond ‘traditional’ Feng Shui, this should be inner or spiritual Feng Shui. His family is Catholic but out of desperation they were willing to try Spiritual Feng Shui.

Told him to recite for his father one full mala of the MEDICINE BUDDHA MANTRA. He should do it aloud so his father can hear him and he should do this five times a day. But more than, I explained, since there is a strong indication that whatever happened to his father is karmic he should also recite the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra five times a day. Preferably, he should do this after he has finished reciting the Medicine Buddha Mantra and like the Medicine Buddha Mantra he should recite the mantra loud enough for his father to hear him.

After about 3 weeks of reciting the Medicine Buddha Mantra and the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra his father started recovering from his stroke. A few more weeks after he was already strong enough to recite the mantras on his own.

At present, his father is again almost back to his old self and in fact has been working again. To this day he continues to recite both mantras and although he didn’t convert to Buddhism he has invited the image of the Medicine Buddha into his home.

The reason that it was also important for him to recite the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra is because obviously his bad karma prevented him from enjoying a wealth luck that is clearly present as indicated by his BAZI analysis. While reciting the Medicine Buddha Mantra will definitely aid him on his recovery, some of the Medicine Buddha’s blessing earned by the merit of the symbolic sound created by reciting his mantra, it may not be as quick because his own negative karma may block these blessings as it has blocked him from enjoying the wealth luck that he received.

The other mantra mentioned earlier is the Wish-Granting Wheel Mantra or, as I said, more popularly called as the Wish Fulfilling Mantra.

The Wish Fulfilling Mantra is a very powerful mantra, which grants us the blessing of receiving the things that we wish for. In fact, the mantra itself is so powerful that simply knowing it is already a blessing.

A Singaporean friend whose cousin greatly benefitted from the Wish Fulfilling Mantra shared this story that I’m about to share with you. For the purpose of this blog, lets just call her M. M is a 28 years old, Singaporean Chinese, who works as a junior marketing officer of an international company in Singapore. She has been with her company for barely a year when their mother company in London had an opening for a higher position with international scope and naturally with a higher pay. M has always dreamed of migrating to US or UK, that’s precisely why she joined this particular company. However, she also knows that she is still considered as ‘neophyte’ in the said company, she’s just a Junior Marketing Officer, and Sing told her cousin that there’s a Senior Marketing Officer, then a Junior Marketing Manager, then a Senior Marketing Manager, then the Sales and Marketing Director. Apparently, the search for the new position in London is not just in Singapore but also in other countries where the company is present, and they are present in all South East Asian countries, the Asia Pacific region, and also in America, as well as some parts of Europe! The competition is tough! Furthermore, junior and senior marketing officers are not even considered for the position.

M felt and knew that she doesn’t stand a chance and shared this with her mom who in turned shared this with a Tibetan Buddhist monk. The Tibetan Buddhist monk told M’s mom to let M try reciting the Wish Fulfilling Mantra. The instruction is for M to recite 7 full mala of the mantra for 3 days. On the fourth day she can try and send her application with her letter of intent. After which she is to recite 3 full mala for the mantra everyday. M felt that there’s nothing to lose in trying so she heeded the monk’s advice.

To make the long story short M is now in London not for the position that was vacated but when they saw her application they saw another position that fits her. They weren’t really just looking for a ‘local’ to fill in the position but somehow they were impressed with M’s resume that the company for the first time in its history hired an Asian for the said position!

Isn’t that wonderful? From a simple wish with zero possibility to a wish fulfilled!

There are other stories that was shared to me or that I personally experienced about these 2 powerful mantras, but I suggest that the best testimonial would be your own experience.

How does one tap into the blessings of these 2 powerful mantras? Why do they usually go together?

The Wish Fulfilling Mantra always goes with the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra because their effects may be complimentary. As shared with you earlier regarding my friend’s father, the Medicine Buddha mantra might not be as effective if his own negative karma is blocking the said blessing, in the same manner, while tapping into the power of the Wish Fulfilling Mantra it is better to make sure that we continuously cleanse ourselves by the negative karma that we accumulate by also tapping into the blessing of the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra and we do this by reciting the mantra.

I usually say 1 full mala of the Wish Fulfilling Mantra followed by another full mala of the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra once a week. If I have a specific wish I recite them more than once a week.

Furthermore, you can also say the Wish Fulfilling Mantra 7 times and blow on some incense. Once the incense is lighted, its smoke will bring blessing to other beings ‘touched’ by the smoke of the incense. Say the Wish Fulfilling Mantra 7 times and blow on your clothes it blesses you.

If you put the symbolic script of the Wish Fulfilling Mantra and the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra above doorways or your door will bless and cleanse all the people who passes underneath them. That’s how powerful these two mantras are.

According to Lama Zopa Rinpoche, who perhaps the most famous Tibetan Buddhist monk next to the His Holiness The Dalai Lama and His Holiness the Karmapa, simply seeing the symbolic script of these 2 mantras will greatly benefit us even if you’re not conscious of it.  To know more about symbolic scripts you can read my previous post called MANTRA: THE INSTRUMENT TO TAP THE POWER OF SYMBOLIC SCRIPT, SOUND, AND THOUGHT.

Also according to Lama Zopa Rinpoche wearing the symbolic script of the WISH FULFILLING MANTRA and NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA as a sacred jewelry will enable us to continuously tap into the blessings of the said mantras. This is precisely why I’ve decided and made sure that both mantras are included in the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT.

I’ve just written about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT yesterday and I’ve already received 7 requests from people from 4 countries who want to get the pendant for themselves. I’ve made this pendant more affordable by making it smaller. Its diameter is only about ¾ of an inch. Unfortunately, I’m not taking any ‘special orders’ right now because I’m still waiting for the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT of my family, relatives, and friends. Please understand that selling Feng Shui charms such as the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT and the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT are only incidental and is not a means of living. Nevertheless, please feel free to email me if you’re interested to get the pendant, no promises, but I’ll try to request my jeweler to make one for you after all the other orders has been served. You can also just copy the design and have your jeweler make one for you.

If you want you can also get the Mantra Ring design by Lillian Too. It has the Wish Fulfilling Mantra and the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra, but it does not have the Medicine Buddha Mantra, Seed Syllable of Green Tara – Tam (a short version of the mantra OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA), image of Kuan Kong, Medicine Buddha, and Yellow Dzambhala. However, you can get them separately.

NOTE: I’m now able to serve request of readers to avail of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT. You can also read a reader’s personal testimony about the pendant by clicking here. She had her wish fulfilled right after she wore the pendant.
