How To Make Medicines More Potent!

Published Mayo 24, 2016 by jptan2012

medicinesRegular readers of this blog already know that the year is ruled by the #2 Flying Star or Illness Star. And a lot of you might have been feeling the effects already. It is because of this that my Guru Lama has come up with the Illness Suppression Amulet, which I prefer to call the Illness and Accident Suppression Amulet because it is an amulet that helps prevent accidents also. Wearing this amulet may help prevent accidents or illness from visiting you, or it might help in curing a person.

Anyway, not all can have the said amulet, but there are other ways of dealing with the Illness Star. If you are already ill or feeling ill, the first thing you should do is to go and see a doctor. And to help in your recovery, chant the Medicine Buddha Mantra over your medicines, or recite the Medicine Buddha Sutra over your medicines. After chanting or reciting them, please blow over your medicines, doing this will have aurically energized the potency of your medicine, making it more effective.

Here are the links of my Medicine Buddha posts. And you will find His mantras and sutras within these posts:

Is It Right? : How A Surangama Mantra Amulet Short Personal Testimony Of A Reader Got Me Thinking.

Published Nobyembre 9, 2015 by jptan2012

A few days ago, I received an sms from a reader who got a few Vajrapani Ruel and Surangama Mantra Amulet for herself and for her family. Her story is one of the stories featured in the post called – COUNTING MONEY AND COUNTING MORE MONEY: SIMPLE AND SHORT VAJRAPANI RUEL STORIES ABOUT READERS WHO INCREASED THEIR WEALTH LUCK. One of the Surangama Mantra Amulet went to her daughter, Mia. For now I will not hide her under an initial because as you can see the message below has her name anyway, but I will not be putting her family name.

Please see the message:Reader SMS

For those who don’t read or understand Filipino, allow me to translate it for you. It says:

Mia is asking whether is it allowed that she temporarily stop using her Surangama Mantra Amulet so that it can rest for awhile. Very toxic (toxic na toxic). (Meaning she has a lot of patients)

I then replied:

She doesn’t want to have lot of patients?

She then replied:

She’s really happy! It was just a joke. Because I always pick her up. We usually have to stay up to 7:30 (PM) and (her clinic hours) are really just up to 5:30PM.

When I got to talk to her that her daughter, Mia, a pediatrician, started wearing the Surangama Mantra Amulet, the number of patients who sees her apparently increased also. Of course, I was happy to hear about this short testimonial, but it also got me thinking. Is it proper or morally right to be happy to have more patients?

Pure Land Buddhists believes that when you wear a Surangama Mantra Amulet, heavenly beings that has an affinity with you will hover over you.

Pure Land Buddhists believes that when you wear a Surangama Mantra Amulet, heavenly beings that has an affinity with you will hover over you.

I called up the Pure Land Buddhist Monk who supplied the Surangama Mantra Amulets to raise fund for their temple and ask him about this, and allow me to explain in my words, how I understand what he explained here.

Off hand, it’s wrong to be happy that people are getting sick but having more patients and more people, or in the case of Mia who is a pediatrician, more children who are sick are two different things. She is happy because her medical practice is booming, but nobody is happy that more people are getting sick. Besides a doctor pediatrician clarified that for pediatric medicine not all who comes in are sick, sometimes they are just there for a check – up or a vaccination.

The point here is whether Mia is around or not her patients will get sick and will need vaccinations and check – ups. It’s not like she prayed for them to get sick or it’s not like the Surangama Mantra Amulet got them sick so that Mia will have patients. All the Surangama Mantra Amulet did is to direct them to her, and I believe that Mia must be a doctor with a good heart otherwise the Surangama Mantra Amulet would not have worked this way for her. The monk even clarified that there is a very good possibility that Mia’s patients has in fact benefitted by being around her not just because of her knowledge as a physician but also because she was wearing the Surangama (also spelled as Shurangama) Mantra Amulet.

P.S. Short Announcement. On Nov. 11 of 2015 we will be celebrating the ‘feast day’ of Medicine Buddha.

Sutra & Mantra Retreat and Vajrapani Empowerment Ritual!

Published Nobyembre 4, 2015 by jptan2012

I have always believe in the power of chanting mantras and reciting / reading sutras. When people get in touch with me asking for the Vajrapani Ruel and because they can’t afford it or its not available at the time of request, I always tell them to chant some mantras or recite some sutras because these are very powerful tools or rituals that can help us surpass our problems. In fact, regular readers of this blog will see some personal testimonies of readers who simply chanted some mantras and were able to get their wishes.

That is why I’m very happy to announce that my Guru Lama is coming to the Philippines early next year to do a two – day Sutra and Mantra retreat and one day Vajrapani Empowerment Ritual. What’s even better is that the retreat and the Vajrapani Empowerment Ritual are going to be absolutely free!

I can’t clearly express as to what are the benefits of chanting a mantra and reciting a sutra because the wonderful blessings that one can get from them if properly done is simply enormous. It has the power to heal the sick, turn bad luck into good luck, create some wealth and financial luck. If these things are done for our recently departed relatives, it may give them a chance to be reborn with a good life.

The Sutra and Mantra retreat is going to be for 2 days from 6:30AM to 2:30AM straight! It seems quite tiring, but the truth is it’s not and if one is in the middle of it you’ll feel that 8 hours is simply nothing. Nevertheless, we’ll have 5 minutes bathroom break every hour or every hour ninety minutes, depending on the mantra and sutra being chanted or recited. On the first two days, which is the Sutra and Mantra retreat, we will be chanting and reciting different mantras and sutra for 8 hours each day straight! Well…almost straight!

On the third day, my Guru Lama is going to conduct a Vajrapani Empowerment Ritual or Puja.

What is an empowerment ritual or puja?

An empowerment ritual or puja is a ritual that is headed by a certified Lama that invokes the power of a Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deity. This is to request blessings and protection from the Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deity being invocated. This kind of ritual is rarely done in the Philippines and one needs a highly ordained monk or lama to be able to do this. For this particular empowerment ritual, we are invocating Vajrapani Bodhisattva, to get to know more about Vajrapani Bodhisattva please read my post called – THE WORLD’S MOST POWERFUL AMULET IN THE BUDDHIST PANTHEON CALLED VAJRAPANI RUEL.

Vajrapani Bodhisattva is primarily a protective bodhisattva but as you see in the various testimonials of people who has requested for the Vajrapani Ruel, a lot of these involve other things which is other than simply protection. For you to know more about these miracles you read some of the stories you can find below.

I will announce the exact date and time and location of the Sutra and Mantra Retreat and the Vajrapani Empowerment Ritual once we have finalized the details but this is confirmed and will happen soon after Chinese New Year of 2016.

As mentioned these events are absolutely free of charge. A reader who has experienced a Vajrapani Ruel miracle has committed to sponsor the vegetarian lunch (although it is going to be served after the retreat which is after 2:30pm). The vegetarian lunch is going to be cooked by Buddhist nun and volunteers of the host temple. Please note that although this is free we encourage you to bring some fruits as an offering to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. We will also encourage you to give a Sangha Offering, which is customary for every Buddhist ritual. A Sangha Offering is done by giving you a red envelope and you can put any amount inside the envelope, which you will then offer on the altar. The money inside can be as low as twenty – five centavos and nobody will know the amount that you will put because it will be then passed on to the host temple without being opened. We do this because the host temple will have some expenses by hosting us that goes to electricity, water, incense, and manpower.

As early as now I will also like to say that during these events no late comers will be allowed to join, and we will start promptly using the Philippine Standard Time as our official time. Should you feel that the even is taxing and tedious we suggest you leave during one of the bathroom breaks, but once you leave you will not be allowed to enter again. This is because in events like this we have to be very conscious that you don’t disturb the presiding lama and the participant. Phones are also going to be collected for safekeeping. No phones and/or any gadgets are allowed inside the ceremony hall to preserve the solemnity of the hall and the retreat or ritual.

I’m sure a lot of you will be asking as to what are the Sutras and Mantras that we are going to recite and chant. Please see the list below in no particular order.

For the Sutras:

  2. The Buddha Speaks of Amitabha Sutra

For the Vajrapani Empowerment Ritual, it will be open to all people who has the Vajrapani Ruel and their friends and family. Again reservation is required. You will be ask to bring your Vajrapani Ruel so that my Guru Lama can further empower it. This is also a great opportunity for those who requested the Vajrapani Ruel to meet other readers who requested it also.

On top of it, according to my Guru Lama everybody who attends will be given a Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantra or Lama Atisha Amulet. You can also bring your Buddhist pendants or amulets for additional blessings of Guru Lama.

The Vajrapani Ruel Stories (2): How A Man Got His Land Back After A 20 – Year – Old Legal Battle

Published Enero 21, 2015 by jptan2012
The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It's important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless.

The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It’s important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless.

Not surprisingly a lot of people requested for the Vajrapani Ruel right after I first wrote about it on a post entitled – THE WORLD’S MOST POWERFUL AMULET IN THE BUDDHIST PANTHEON CALLED VAJRAPANI RUEL. And of course, just earlier, in a post that was a written awhile back but was only posted earlier, I also shared about the Vajrapani Ruel personal stories shared with me by my Guru Lama. You can read the stories by reading the post entitled – THE VAJRAPANI RUEL STORIES. But what I find surprising is the fact that when one of my reader got the Vajrapani Ruel, he claims to have immediately felt it’s effect.

JS is a 43 year – old businessman, married and with 5 children. JS is the son of a Chinese businessman out of wedlock. His father is married before he even met JS’s mother. JS has 4 siblings from his father’s wife. When his father’s wife passed away, he then took JS’s mom as his second wife, but they never got married.

According to JS it was a challenging childhood for him, being the only child from the ‘2nd wife’, and with his other siblings much older he became a loner. His half – siblings resented the fact that their father got another woman, and JS and his mom earn the anger of his half – siblings.

His father died without a will but a few months before he passed away he decided to leave one of his properties to JS and his mom. He made it appear that he sold them the property and told them not to meddle with the other properties because he knows that his other children will not share anything with JS and his mom. JS’s mom gave him their word that they won’t. This should have settled everything but just a few months after JS’s father passed away they decided to do everything to claim the property that ‘sold’ to JS’s mom and JS. They argued that it was impossible for them to buy the property because JS and his mom don’t have their own income at that time. Thus began a 20 year long legal battle that lead to the court granting JS’s half – siblings to claim the property.

Throughout the years, JS and his mom would approach his half – siblings to try to settle with them, but they remain to be quite firm with their decision not to make peace with JS and his mom and not to return the property to them. Many times, JS would like to just simply give up the fight and give them the property, specially now that he has his own business and is slowly building the dreams of his own family, but his mom is adamant that they get it back because ‘…she believes that it is rightfully ours and that it was your father’s last wish that we have it!’ In fact, although the property that was left with the original family was much bigger and that legally speaking JS has a claim to it, they never pursued any of the other properties.

JS initially wanted to get the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, but I told him about the long production timeline and that we are currently experiencing severe delays in the delivery of the pendant, so when he read about the Vajrapani Ruel, he decided to request for it instead. Time is of an essence for JS because his mother is now sick and although her mind is still very much conscious her body is already giving up. JS wanted to extend her life a little longer and hope that she will be able to see her only wish come true and that is to have the property back.

When probed as to what his wish really is, JS was clear that he wants to get it so that his mom’s life will get extended. It’s pretty obvious that JS has given up on the fact that they will get the property back.

I was on a trip when JS emailed me, and I was not able to reply right away, and when I opened my email when I return, there is JS’s NUMEROUS email, and when I say NUMEROUS it is really NUMEROUS and as guarantee that I’ll receive his email, JS decided to create several accounts. He also left his number so I can contact him ASAP.

JS got his Vajrapani Ruel, and within 2 days after getting the Vajrapani Ruel, JS was calling me again. I was not able to reply then because my phone was not with me for several days, so it was only recently that I found out about his story. He said, in less than 48 hours after he got the Vajrapani Ruel, he got a call from one of his half – siblings. Without any explanation, he was told that they can get the property back, and was told that their lawyer will contact him. JS was left without words and no explanation was given. JS was surprised and found this too good to be true so he decided to hold off telling anybody about it. The following day, the lawyer of his half – siblings called him and from him JS was able to find out more about the situation, although it really is not necessarily more. He was told by the lawyer of his siblings, who have been friendly towards JS and who has been pushing for a settlement, told JS that he is also totally clueless about what lead to this decision. Like JS he also got a call a day earlier from JS’s siblings instructing him to facilitate the transfer of the property to JS. It has to be noted that this particular lawyer is actually the 8th or 9th lawyer who handled the 20-year-old legal battle.

Just like that JS got his mom’s lifelong wish. JS totally swears that it is because of the Vajrapani Ruel that he got the property back. As of the moment, he is in close contact with his sibling’s lawyers and the transfer of the property back to them is now on it’s way. JS claims that he also hope that his mom will also start getting better.

I believe it is the wealth luck activating power of the Vajrapani Ruel that manifested here. Even though he doesn’t necessarily badly need the property, JS said that aside from fulfilling his mother’s wish, having the property will give him the chance to build his family home in that property. He need not worry about buying a lot.

I personally totally believe in the wonderful powerful effect of the Vajrapani Ruel but in the interest of transparency, there are 4 more people who got the Vajrapani Ruel before or around the time that JS got his Vajrapani Ruel and so far it is only JS who has personal testimony to share.

Feng Shui Won’t Make Problems Totally Disappear

Published Hunyo 12, 2014 by jptan2012

feng shuiI believe one common mistake of Feng Shui writer (myself included) and Feng Shui consultants and teachers is that unconsciously communicate to the public that doing proper Feng Shui will make ALL problems go away. This is a wrong belief.

Doing proper Feng Shui will not make problems go away; they will help mitigate it and lessen its impact. It doesn’t mean that if you wear the Holy Gourd or an image of the Medicine Buddha, you’ll never get sick. There are a lot of other factors that one has to consider, for example karma or how you treat yourself. No amount of Feng Shui can prevent you from getting old or get sick if you don’t eat properly, etc.

Aside from karma and how you treat yourself, there are other factors who will definitely create some problems for you, for example, the Flying Stars, whether these are the annual flying stars, the monthly flying stars, the weekly flying stars, the daily flying stars or even the hourly flying stars, these stars will definitely have some effect on you and they will surely bring some sort of problem or blessing depending on the star that affects you. Plus your life chart or bazi / Paht Chee will also have some effect.

Which leads us to the question why then should we still bother practicing Feng Shui? To answer that let me draw an example from my own experience.

I have been practicing Feng Shui for a very long time and it doesn’t mean I never had a problem, or it doesn’t mean that I never had to work because wealth luck just comes in, I still have to work hard on my business, I still encounter some bumps. But with Feng Shui these are easily mitigated or sometimes I easily recognize that a problem is about to happen and I’m able to act on it right away.

For example, my life chart coupled with the monthly stars shows that I have to be really careful with backstabbing, bad mouthing, and big quarrel. A few months ago somebody from Malaysia or Singapore sent me an email telling me that they saw on one of website traffic meter site that my blog enjoys a high volume of traffic everyday. This person then proceeded to suggest that I should carry their amulets to help more people. I declined this offer because I’m really not a seller and I only write about things that I totally believe in. They wrote me twice and I declined their offer twice, and now I find my blog being attacked by a site that sells amulets. It’s funny how this happened a few weeks after I declined an offer to sell amulets. I got bothered and irritated for about 10 – 15 minutes and realized that this is simply a reminder of what my real intentions are when I first started blogging. I never cared whether people read my blog, I simply want to write, why then I should I care if people attack me or if people believes the attacks against me or my blog in the end I will just write and write and if people likes my blog and they get some benefits and learn things from my blog, I will be thankful.

So you see I still encounter ‘problems’ and I still experience some of the things my chart shows, but because I believe I practice good Feng Shui these things becomes peripheral. It’s done by people that I don’t personally know and who don’t personally know me and because of Feng Shui these things weren’t done by people I work with or by people who are really close to my like family and friends.

So you see Feng Shui doesn’t mean there’s an absence of a problem. It only means problems will not bother or affect you as much.

Can Water ‘Infused’ With Words and Thoughts Affect Us?

Published Setyembre 6, 2013 by jptan2012

When I was younger my parents would always bring jugs or bottles of water to the temple and leave it at the altar for three days, get it back, and they’ll have us, their children, drink it. They will always say that the water from the temple will makes us healthier, wiser, and also protect us. In fact, whenever we’re sick they’ll make sure that we’ll drink what I called ‘Temple Water’.

Soon the jugs and bottles were replaced by store bought mineral water or bottled water. I never understood the concept of doing this until I was already into Feng Shui and a real Buddhist student. A monk told me that leaving water on the altar would make energize and bless the water with their mantras and prayers. Furthermore, the water surrounded by mantras and images of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will absorb the positive energy of the images and the sounds of the prayers and mantras, turning the water into a blessed healing water or energized water.hiddenmessages

My belief on this matter was half hearted given that I don’t really see how simple images can have an affect on a non – living thing, in this case, the bottled water. Until a few years back I came across with a book called THE HIDDEN MESSAGES IN WATER, which was written by the controversial Japanese author and entrepreneur Masuro Emoto.

I say controversial because Mr. Masaru Emoto’s studies are widely criticized as much as it is widely accepted. I’m not here to argue whether his studies are legit or not, but rather I would like to present them to you as to how I understood it.

Mr. Masaru Emoto, the controversial author of Hidden Messages in Water

Mr. Masaru Emoto, the controversial author of Hidden Messages in Water

According to Mr. Masaru Emoto, water has the ability to absorb our thoughts, but more than that, water has the ability to ‘understand’ (my word) the words written and ‘shown’ to it. When exposed to different thoughts or words, positive or negative, the water will then absorb the energy and it will change its properties. I will not talk about how he did his research, but rather will post some links later for you to better understand it.

Some of the respected scientific psychic in the world like Caroline Myss believes in Mr. Masuro Emoto’s research, however, there are a lot of scientist who doesn’t believe in him and has criticized the lack of details in how he did the research.water20pics1

But as I said, I’m not here to argue whether his research is true or not. Nevertheless, if true, his studies will confirm what Buddhists and Taoists, even Catholics, has believed in so many years. Base on Mr. Masuro Emoto’s studies it is really possible to make water holy.

I’m writing this post  because on my next post I will write about a reader’s testimony that is related to Mr. Masuro Emoto’s research and the age-old Buddhist practice of chanting mantra over water.

White Tara: An Emanation of Goddess Tara that Grants Fertility, Longevity, and Helps Overcome Life’s Hardships

Published Setyembre 2, 2013 by jptan2012

More than a year ago, I wrote about Goddess Tara who is one of the most revered Goddess in Tibetan Buddhism. Regular readers of this blog would know that she is considered as a The Mother of Swift Liberation because of how fast she acts on our request.

For those who are not familiar with Goddess Tara, I suggest that before continuing to read this post that you check out my earlier post about Goddess Tara. Please just click on the link:

GODDESS TARA, THE MOTHER OF SWIFT LIBERATION

PAYING HOMAGE TO GODDESS TARA

GET WEALTH ABUNDANCE AND FINANCIAL SECURITY THROUGH THE WEALTH GRANTING TARA

Today, I would like to introduce to you to one of the most powerful emanation of Goddess Tara, which is the White Tara.White Tara2

White Tara is a very powerful emanation of Goddess Tara that grants fertility. One of my cousins had a hard time conceiving and when I suggested that she pray to the White Tara she conceived just after 2 months of chanting White Tara’s mantra.

More than being a Goddess of Fertility, White Tara is also a Goddess of Longevity. People who are sick or people who are in physical danger can simply call on White Tara, recite her mantra and they can be assured that help will come.

Lastly, White Tara is a goddess who helps overcome life’s hardships or obstacles. An elderly woman whom I met in Singapore attested this to me; I was looking for some pendants when we got to talk to each other. On my hand at that time was an image of Goddess Tara in jade pendant. She started talking to me asking me whether I’m a devotee of Goddess Tara, I said yes, and she also shared that she is a devotee of Goddess Tara, especially White Tara.

According to BL, she got widowed an early age of 25, and she already had three children then. She used to live in China, when her husband brought her to Singapore, her in-laws didn’t like her so she they ‘abandoned’ her when her husband died. According to her she was so poor that she had to beg for food. Going back to China was not an option because of the Chinese tradition that you don’t really go back to your family once a woman got married, on top of that, like most Chinese woman her age, she was illiterate and won’t be able to write a letter even if she knows where to send the letter. BL at that time we met was approximately 73 years old.

Not having of friends of her own and being abandoned by her husband’s family, she had to work for herself and for her to survive, she begged for food, and according to her the lowest moment of her life was when she had to give up her youngest child. A childless couple adopted her baby.

BL said to make things worst she was unable to get a decent good paying job because she was illiterate. However, an elderly woman took pity of her and got her as a maid. It was this elderly woman who introduced BL to White Tara. According to BL, as soon as she started praying to White Tara, and saying White Tara’s mantra everything just got better.

BL now spends her time busying herself helping single moms through her foundation is funded by her 3 children. She named the foundation after the elderly woman who took her in.

Her children all grew up to have their own business. And while she never officially got her youngest child back, she said it doesn’t matter, because the one who adopted her youngest child became family as well, and in fact they live in the same building, with units right beside each other.

All these blessings according to BL are because of White Tara.

One curious thing though that BL shared with me is that she notice that for her White Tara works best if its carved out of a meteorite. She doesn’t have an explanation as to why because she doesn’t even understand it.

A White Tara pendant from my personal collection. I still don't know why but I agree with BL that a White Tara pendant carved out of a meteorite is more effective or powerful.

Because of her statement, I started my quest for a White Tara image and pendant carved out of a meteor. I now have in my possession 3 White Tara pendant carved out of a meteorite but to this day, I’m still looking for an image of White Tara carved out of a meteorite that I can put on my altar.
