Receive Wonderful Blessings of Wealth, Peace, and Protection from the Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras and Lama Atisha Combined Amulet (2): A Focus on Lama Atisha Amulet!

In my previous post, I introduced you the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS, now allow me to introduce you to another very powerful Buddhist amulet called – LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET.

This is said to be one of the most powerful protection amulet in Buddhism. According to Lama Zopa Rinpoche, simply seeing or touching a copy of the said amulet will bring a person tremendous protection against physical harm.

It functions like that of the scapular for Catholics. If a person has this on his body at that time of his or her death, it is guaranteed that he or she will have a good rebirth and will be saved from the lower realms. If displayed inside the house or office, one will be saved from bad influences of other people and it will help create harmony. It is also very good to have this amulet if one is in the hospital, to protect a person from the yin chi of the hospital, and it will also prevent you from getting the attention of the lost souls. Thus, it is also a very good amulet to have to wear when one is going to a funeral or cemetery.

I don’t have a personal story or story that I heard first hand about the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET, but one of the most popular story associated by the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET, and is widely accepted by the different Buddhist traditions is a story that happened fairly recently. It was suppose to have happened to a young Tibetan man and his family.

As you all know, China has invaded Tibet and a lot of people they are either doing some ethnic cleansing or is slowly erasing the cultures and traditions of the Tibetan who are still in Tibet. The man’s name is Tenzin Choejor ( the truth is Tenzin is a fairly common Tibetan boy’s name because it means ‘holder of Buddhist doctrines’, and the current Dalai Lama’s name himself is Tenzin. I was told that Choezor is not a family name but it is a second name, which means Dharma Wealth. From the name of the man, it can be concluded that his parents are devout Buddhist, but this is not unique because most Tibetans are devout Buddhist.)

Tenzin Choejor’s family is one of the many Tibetans who’ve experienced oppression in Tibet. He was born after the 14th Dalai Lama has fled to Tibet to escape the Chinese oppression, so it can be said that he has never experienced true freedom. He has always long for to escape the Chinese oppression of Tibet but has not dared to do it because all his family are in Tibet. However, his perspective changed when he got married and started to have his own family.

It is said that Tenzin Choejor has planned to escape with his parents, but in a country ruled by oppression and where paranoia is really high, the government soon found out about his plan to escape. It is said that it was possible that another relative or a friend squealed on him. Like most Tibetans who plan to escape or oppose the Chinese government, he was tortured and separated from his family and was put to hard labor for several years. Upon his release, he find it hard to start a new life, because he was considered as an ‘ex-convict’ and even fellow Tibetans who took pity on him will not hire him because they’re afraid that they might earn the ire of the Chinese government. This is when he realized and decided that the only way for him to survive and take care of his family is if they escape Tibet. This time, however, Tenzin Choejor is more careful and he only confided to his father, who told him to ask for the blessing of his grandfather, his father’s uncle, for a blessing because it will be a long journey, a very difficult one, and if caught they might be killed on the spot or if they’re not caught they might die of freezing in the mountains. His father also cautioned him to think again of his plans because Tenzin Choejor’s children then aged 10 and 7 might not survive the trip. However, Tenzin Choejor knew that’s the only way for them to have a better life, and he thought it is better to risk their lives that forever live under the Chinese oppression.

Tenzin Choejor great uncle is one of the few monks left in Tibet who has personally met the Fourteenth Dalai Lama, and because he is monk in a place under Chinese rule, it is expected that he is very poor. So he has nothing to offer Tenzin Choejor but the blessing that Tenzin Choejor seeks from him. He performed some Buddhist protection ritual, which was improvised to adjust to their situation, but then took Tenzin Choejor aside to tell him that there is one thing that he would like to give Tenzin Choejor.

He told Tenzin Choejor that he believe that the only reason he was able to escape the Chinese’s physical oppression, unlike most monks, is because of an amulet that he has kept for a long time. He told Tenzin Choejor that he believes that the amulet is one of the reasons that he remained alive under the hands of the Chinese communist government. He then gave Tenzin Choejor a leather cloth where the image of LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET is printed. He told Tenzin Choejor that the amulet would keep his family safe. It is said that Tenzin Choejor initially refused to accept the amulet, but his great uncle insisted and told him that he has no need for the amulet because of his old age and that he is ready to part with his body.

Tenzin Choejor then proceeded to escape Tibet. It must be noted that after the initial exodus of Tibetans from Tibet, the Chinese communist government has intensified border security, making it harder for all Tibetan planning to go to exile to leave Tibet. There is no exact statistics as to how many people have been killed or captured and tortured just because the seek a better life. Tenzin Choejor armed with determination and faith in his ‘religion’ decided to set out on an escape with his wife and two young children.

On his way to India, Tenzin Choejor encountered several problems, but somehow they manage to get away with it. Among these two things are an encounter with a Chinese soldiers and a fight against nature.

First, on their escape, they literally came across some Chinese soldiers, and because of fatigue and coldness because of the freezing snow, he and his wife noticed them a little too late. They came across two drunken Chinese soldiers, and was almost apprehended, in fact, a gun was already pointed at them. Should the soldiers decided to shoot at them, the soldiers won’t get reprimanded because there is a standing order to shoot to kill all people who are trying to escape. Fearing for the life of his family, Tenzin Choejor used his body to block his wife and kids, and instinctively touched the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET given to him by his great uncle and started to call on the Buddhas. According to their testimony, Tenzin Choejor’s wife didn’t know where he mustered her courage to talk to the soldiers.

Tenzin Choejor’s wife knows how to speak Chinese, being born and raised under the Chinese communist government; Chinese has been her second language. Tenzin Choejor knows the language also but because he grew up in the countryside he understands it better than he can speak. His wife on the other hand knows how to speak it but not fluently either. But she managed to address the soldiers and pretend that she is Chinese, and when asked why Tenzin Choejor’s himself doesn’t speak she told them that her husband is deaf – mute. There are many loopholes to her cover, like how can she explain their looks and what are they doing in the mountain, but because it was dark and maybe because the Chinese soldiers were drunk they let them go. Tenzin Choejor believes that it is because of LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET.

The second ordeal was when they were in the mountain, Tenzin Choejor’s second child got really ill. Without medicine all Tenzin Choejor and his wife can do are to call on the help of the Buddhas. Tenzin Choejor decided to take off the amulet and placed it on top of his son’s body. Needless to say, the son got healed.

After weeks of travelling in the mountain they finally got to the border of Tibet and India, where they plan to go in exile and seeks the Dalai Lama’s protection. But little did they know that India besieged by thousands and thousand of Tibetan exiles and without a place to put them has made it harder for Tibetans to go inside their country. Though they don’t understand each other, Tenzin Choejor understands the problem with their facial and body language. He started to touch the amulet again and hope for the best. Soon they were met by a Tibetan who took their story. Three days after they were put on a holding area, luckily with food, they were told that they could stay in India.

According to Tenzin Choejor, and these were acknowledge by the highest ranking lamas, it was because of the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET that Tenzin Choejor and his family survived the ordeal.

But who is LAMA ATISHA?

For that allow me to share his story using Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s own words. The following was lifted from the archive of FPMT.

Having a little bit of understanding of the life story of Atisha is very beneficial for our mind, so we can try to understand the teaching he wrote. By understanding Atisha’s life story and how he practiced Dharma and achieved realizations, devotion arises and we can feel that his teaching is most precious and pure. 1

Actually it is a very long life story, and it is divided into three parts. In order to have some idea about the great bodhisattva Atisha and how he benefited sentient beings, there are stories about his birth, his home, his birthplace and his early life. The stories explain how he achieved great knowledge and realizations with that holy body. Then after achieving the knowledge and realizations of the path, he benefited the teachings and helped sentient beings— he led the disciples and sentient beings to happiness.

Atisha’s birthplace was in Bengal, India. He was born as a prince and his family was extremely wealthy. He was surrounded by servants and workers, and there were 100,000 people just in his palace. The palace had thirteen golden roofs and 25,000 golden banners on the top, and there were also many pools, like in the West. At the palace there were 25,000 pools and beautiful parks, gardens of beautiful flowers that people could enjoy, seven bridges, and special trees that only grow in India.

When Atisha was three, he became an expert in general education—in astrology, letters, the brahmas, these things. He also became expert in discriminating the inner and outer being, so his parents wanted him very badly to take the place of the king. They tried very hard, but after some time he left with 300 horses, disguised as an army going to fight.

Many people went into the forest with Atisha to seek the guru. He took many teachings on refuge and bodhicitta, and then the guru sent him home to check up and try to understand the suffering of life. This happened three times. He came back, the guru sent him to another guru, and that guru sent him home to check up on the shortcomings of worldly life. His parents tried very hard to have him marry and take the place of a king. They invited all the beautiful women of the country to a party, and let them all dance around, but it didn’t work.

Atisha explained, “ There is no difference for my mind between this palace and a prison. There is no difference between beautiful, expensive clothes and the torn cloth in the garbage. There is no difference between delicious food and dog meat and pus. There is no difference between princesses and mara women—devil women.” Why devil women? Because they transform into beautiful bodies and cheat us. His parents listened to him.

Atisha followed 157 gurus perfectly and received many teachings, initiations and Vajrayana teachings. Once, while he was at home, Tara, the female aspect of Buddha, instructed him in a dream not to be attached to the samsaric happiness of worldly life. After this, Atisha went to see his guru. Then one day, after receiving many initiations, he thought, “There is no Vajrayana teaching left that I don’t know. I have become the most learned.” He felt a little bit of pride. That night, he had a dream that many female dakinis— transformations of buddhas who have high realizations of tantra—showed him many Vajrayana texts that he had never seen before. This made him lose his feelings of pride.

Atisha wanted to receive Mahamudra realization in his lifetime, by living in Vajrayana conduct. One of his gurus, Rahula, suddenly realized with his psychic power that Atisha was thinking this. Without any resistance, Rahula appeared in front of Atisha and instructed him, “What are you doing, forgetting all the sentient beings by leaving them? Take ordination and do great work for the teachings. This will be greatly beneficial for the teachings.” So, Atisha took ordination when he was twenty-nine years old. He was persuaded to do so by his guru and also by the buddha’s female aspect, Tara, Guru Shakyamuni Buddha, Maitreya Buddha and many other buddhas and Vajrayana deities such as Heruka, in his dreams.

After some time, when he was going around the Bodhgaya stupa—the temple in India, the most holy place where Guru Shakyamuni Buddha received enlightenment— above the stupa, in space, he saw the transformation of a young woman asking an old woman a question. At that time Atisha was concerned with quickly receiving enlightenment, and in space the young woman was asking the old woman, “What path should we practice in order to quickly receive enlightenment?” The old woman said, “Train the mind in love and compassion, in bodhicitta.”

Again, when Atisha was going around the stupa, there were paintings on the walls that talked to each other. One painting asked the other what path we should follow to reach enlightenment quickly, and the other answered, “Train the mind in love and compassion, and bodhicitta.”

Again, when Atisha was going around near Nagarjuna’s caves, he saw the statues of Buddha communicating, saying, “Train the mind in love and the compassionate thought, bodhicitta.” There was one ivory statue, and it said, “Yogi, if you want to quickly receive enlightenment, train the mind in love and compassion, and the thought of bodhicitta.” Many statues spoke like this.

Atisha went to see Guru Serlingpa, and he spent about twelve years taking the complete teachings on bodhicitta. In the presence of Guru Serlingpa, he received the actual realization of bodhicitta. Then Lama Serlingpa predicted that he should go to Tibet, the northern snow land.

At that time, there was a lot of degeneration of the teachings in Tibet. The people did not know how to practice the teachings, and they were confused about the practice of sutra and tantra together. The king of Tibet, Lha Lama Yeshe Ö, sent twenty-one boys to India to study Dharma and all of them except two died from the heat. These two came back to Tibet and told the king that everyone was talking about Atisha, the pandit, and that they should invite him to Tibet to help. These two translators’ names were Rinchen Sangpo and Legshey.

As soon as Lha Lama Yeshe Ö, the king of Tibet, heard the name of Atisha, incredible devotion arose in his mind, and he decided to invite Atisha to Tibet. He sent many gold offerings to India to invite Atisha, but it didn’t work. Then afterwards, he went himself to find gold for Atisha, and he was captured and put in the prison by an irreligious king who didn’t want the spread of Dharma in Tibet.

King Lha Lama Yeshe Ö’s nephew, Jangchub Ö, came to see him in prison. The irreligious king told Jangchub Ö, “I won’t free your uncle until you find gold the size of his body.” So, Jangchub Ö found enough gold to reach up to his neck, but still the irreligious king was not satisfied. He said, “If you don’t bring gold the size of his head, I won’t let him be free from prison.” Again, Jangchub Ö went to his uncle, the king of Tibet, and explained all these things.

The imprisoned king of Tibet, Lha Lama Yeshe Ö, explained to his nephew that since a lot of gold was offered to the irreligious king and he was still not satisfied, Jangchub Ö should not offer this king even one handful of gold. King Lha Lama Yeshe Ö said he was now very old and did not have long to live, and it would be more beneficial for his nephew, Jangchub Ö, to take the gold. He said to Jangchub Ö, “I don’t care if I die in prison. Take all this gold and ask Atisha to come to Tibet and spread the Dharma.” Then the king sent a message to Atisha through his nephew, saying, “I gave up my life to invite you to Tibet. Please guide me with your compassion. What I have in my mind is only for you to come to Tibet and spread the teachings.”

The imprisoned king sent the message with Jangchub Ö with a suffering, frantic voice, and then he passed away in prison. His nephew sent a translator with many gold offerings to invite Atisha, but the kings and abbots of India wanted Atisha to stay there. Finally, Atisha received permission and he came secretly to Tibet and helped spread the Dharma there. According to his teachings, he wrote the Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment there.

Atisha spread the pure Mahayana teaching like the rising sun, and all conflict, ignorance, and wrong conceptions were destroyed. His text was translated into English by some Tibetan lamas and other translators. I am reading the translation of this teaching because it is extremely beneficial. It is so short. Atisha did great work and brought so much benefit to India and Tibet. In India he destroyed many followers of other religions, wrong paths and wrong conceptions. He did great work.

These days, many young people from the West have the chance to hear the teachings and to understand and practice these meditations on the gradual path to enlightenment. They can find satisfaction in their lives, and they can make their lives meaningful and happy. They integrate it in their own mind, and they understand that there is a chance to make their lives meaningful. All these things are due to the kindness of Atisha, the great bodhisattva.

This great bodhisattva, Atisha, lived in discipline, and had the realization of moral conduct. He kept the 253 precepts purely, and on the basis of that, the bodhisattva’s precepts, the moral conduct precepts and the Vajrayana precepts. He had unshakeable, firm, one-pointed concentration that could last for years—even if hundreds of rockets were flying nearby they couldn’t disturb or shake his meditation. He had perfect realization of shunyata, the absolute nature, and he achieved high tantric realizations, seeing himself in the form of deities.

Atisha had high tantric realization without projections, and he did not see ordinary places—we see an ordinary house built of mud or cement, an impure place, but Atisha had only pure projections and pure view, and he always saw the view of the mandala of the deities. He had high Vajrayana realizations and he was able to transform even kaka into nectar and poison into medicine.

We can meditate like this to increase devotion to Atisha’s teachings. We can do checking meditation according to that. We may find it difficult at the beginning of the subject, and it may take time to understand, but by checking and understanding more and more the various meditations and teachings, gradually it will become clear within our mind.

2018 Year of the Earth Dog Feng Shui Forecast Base on Bazi Chart, Flying Stars Formula, and 24 Mountain Stars Formula: A Year that Brings Success Although it Lacks Wealth Luck but the Flying Stars Formula Offers A Little More Hope! (Four Things to Remember – Wear Gold, Be Hardworking, and Most Importantly Have Faith and Be Determined!) – Part 2

In the first part of this post, I wrote about my general Feng Shui forecast on the year, largely base on the bazi chart of the year, here I will share more base on the Flying Stars and on the 24 Mountain Stars. There I wrote about what should we generally expect in the lunar year to come, and while there is a bleak forecast about wealth luck/financial luck/money luck, there are some good things that we can expect also.

I’m always a little apprehensive about some of the things that I write especially if there is a bleak forecast, because since I earned the reputation of being the only Feng Shui writer or Feng Shui enthusiast at that who was able to accurately forecast the tragedy of Typhoon Haiyan / Typhoon Yolanda and the devastation it brought prior to the calamity and not post – calamity, my annual predictions, especially the significant ones has all come to fruition. I did this during the annual forecast for the year. And so while I still believe that the bleak financial forecast will also come true, I also believe that arming ourselves with hard work, determination, faith in higher being, and with Feng Shui charms or Buddhist and Taoist amulets will definitely see us through this dilemma. For this year, it is important that we wear gold. More importantly we should wear the Holy Trinity of Amulets which are the (1) Special Gold Piyao and/or the VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET, (2) GOLD PENDANT IMAGE OF BODHISATTVA KSITIGARBHA (also known as Di Zhang Wang Pu Sa, Earth Store Bodhisattva), and (3) the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA combined amulet in a metal holder. If you want to understand about these amulets better, I suggest you read the first part of this post. Actually, you have to read the PART 1 of this forecast so that you see the whole picture.

Anyway, allow me to share with you the forecast base one the 24 MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA and the FLYING STARS FORMULA.

THE CENTER HAS #9 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE MULTIPLYING AND FUTURE PROSPERITY STAR!

Technically speaking, this is neither a good or bad star. The power of this star is to let you reap whatever you sow. This star basically multiplies whatever karma you accumulate. If you do more good things you’ll have more good luck in the future, but if you continue to do a lot of bad things, you multiply your negative karma as well.

However, for this year though because it landed in the center means it brings the SUM OF 9 luck. While this is quite difficult to explain here, all you need to know is that it brings in some good luck and uplifts a little the bleak forecast base on the bazi chart. Having said that, it is also a star that indicates, if you continue to do good, you will surely be rewarded, however, if you harvested bad you will also surely reap bad karma.

For those who have planted good deeds also, this will be a year where you can reap those rewards of good karma. And so, while there is a bleak Feng Shui forecast in the year, you might fare better than others because of your good karma. Alternately, those who sow bad karma, well, this is a year where you will need help.

Recommendations:

Before I don’t really put any enhancer or cure recommendations because I want people to be more conscious about what they do. However, a reader told me that there are times that we simply, without intending to be bad, create some things that earn us negative karma. For this I highly recommend either the image of the Medicine Buddha or the symbolic script of the mantra OM AH HUM or OM HANU PASHA BARA HE YE SOHA both of which are on the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT. For those who don’t have the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant, you can simply chant the mantras mentioned above or wear the Surangama Mantra Amulet or Vajrapani Ruel.

For those who believes that they might have sowed bad karma, it will be extremely be beneficial for you, to help protect and cleanse you from the negative chi that you have planted, to wear a gold image of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha.

 

 

THE EAST HAS THE 2ND MOST DREADED STAR IN THE FLYING STAR FORMULA WHICH IS THE #7 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE VIOLENT STAR!

IT ALSO HAS THE BIG AUSPICIOUS STAR AND THE ANNUAL CONFLICT STAR OF THE 24 MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA

The star brings hostility and loss through robbery, theft, or even manipulation. Next to the Five Yellow Star or Wu Wang, this is one of the most dreaded stars. This year people born in the sign of the Rabbit are directly affected by this star and those who stays in the Northeast and Southeast are also side afflicted with the dreaded #5 Flying Star also known as Five Yellow Star. But more on that on the succeeding post. All people affected by this star either by virtue of their Chinese Animal Zodiac or because their home or office face East or is in the East sector should make sure that they take care of themselves. This is a powerful dreaded star that, as mentioned brings hostility and loss, either thru robbery, theft or even manipulation.

Recommendations:

Since this is one most the more serious star that we have to take care of, it’s important that people whose houses are facing East or simply staying in the East of their house or office should have the following: Vajrapani Ruel / Kalachakra / The Combined Amulet of the Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras Amulet and the Lama Atisha Amulet.

The East also has two stars from the 24 Mountains Formula. These are namely the Big Auspiciousness Star and Annual Conflict Star. As you can deduce already, the Big Auspiciousness Star is the good star to have and you can further enhance this star by wearing the Special Gold Piyao. The Annual Conflict Star is a star that brings in some misfortune either in a big way or in ways that creates small stresses that builds up to a big one. The good news is that this can be suppress by the Special Gold Piyao or an image of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha (also known as Di Zhang Wang Pu Sa or Earth Store Bodhisattva).

 

 

THE SOUTHEAST HAS THE FAVORED #8 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE WEALTH STAR!

IT ALSO HAS THE SUI PO, ANNUAL CONFLICT STAR, AND THE HEAVENLY SEAL STARS OF THE 24 MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA!

This star is a very good star. It gives you abundance and to some a ‘bottomless’ pocket filled with money. This star is not just about money wealth but this is also for overall abundance. This year, this is considered as the luckiest star because it will bring wealth where the year shows there is none. That is not to say though, that this star is as strong as the previous years, because it while it brings wealth, it has to pull off wealth from somewhere. Thus, it has to be activated.

With the 24 Mountain Stars, the Sui Po is so weak this year that you can almost ignore it. The Heavenly Seal is auspicious it brings in heavenly support. Furthermore, and it will help strengthen the #8 Flying Star or the Wealth Star. However, the Annual Conflict Star is a cause for concern, because it brings misfortune thus there is a need to protect oneself from it.

Recommendations:

Faux gold Coins or Bars or Ingots should be place on this sector. Placing an image of a Wealth Deity like the Maitreya Buddha, Kuan Kong, Bodhisattva Earth Store (Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha) or Sun Wukong is also going to be extremely auspicious. If the door of your office or office building or home, and/or if your bedroom or office is on this sector, it will be good for you to wear a Special Gold Piyao or a VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET to help activate the #8 Flying Star that will bring in wealth luck.

While you need not do anything to activate the Heavenly Seal Star, you can help strengthen it by wearing or hanging the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA combined amulet on this sector. If you are on this sector a lot, you can wear one also. Lastly, to protect yourself from the Annual Conflict Star, you can simply wear the Special Gold Piyao which is also the one you need to activate the Wealth Star.

THE SOUTH HAS THE #4 FLYING STAR WHICH IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE ROMANCE AND SCHOLASTIC STAR!

IT ALSO HAS THE NATURAL DISASTER OF THE 24 MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA AND IS THE FACING THREE – KILLINGS LOCATION OF THE YEAR!

Romance luck is heightened if your room is on this side of the house. For single people, you might have the possibility of finding love. For partnered people, you might find your love getting more ‘fragrant’. However, for married couple the effect might be two- Fold. First, you might find yourself loving each other more deeply, but there might also be the possibility of a third party getting involved. It is also called Scholastic Star because it also has a good effect on the scholastic pursuits of a person. Meaning, students may become more studious, and professionals might find that it’s easier to understand documents.

Unfortunately, it also has the Star of Natural Disaster, and while this star has no direct effect on a personal level, countries that is in the South Sector of the map, or provinces that is in the South side of a country might find that there is an increase of calamities.

This is also the Facing of the Three Killing. And while the three killing stars might bring conflict, it is quite easy to deal with it, you simply face it. And in a way, just by being on this sector, you are already dealing with it.

Recommendations:

For single person, you can put a Rose Quartz Mandarin Ducks on your bedside. For married couple, you can hang the Double Happiness on your headboard. To safeguard yourself from a third party, tie an Amethyst Geode with Red String on the foot of your bed or ask your partner to wear a gold image of Kuan Kong. You can also use the power of Green Tara to ensure that this star works for the positive only. For those single people hoping to find love, you can also wear a Surangama Mantra Amulet or gold Kuan Yin Bodhisattva (also called or spelled as Avalokitesvara, Kannon, Guan Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Kuan Shi Yin) pendant.

 

THE SOUTHWEST HAS A FAVORED STAR WHICH IS THE #6 FLYING STAR OR THE HEAVEN’S BLESSING AND MENTOR STAR!

IT ALSO HAS THE YIN JIA, YI DUO, GOLDEN DEITY STARS OF THE 24 MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA!

This star helps set the ‘tone’ of the year for people whose office, or room is in the Southwest side of the house or building. Meaning, if you continuously do more good the more blessed you’re going to be. This also means that if you’re Chinese Animal Zodiac is not so good, you will have help from Heaven (Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Deities, Immortals, or Saints). This also means that you’ll be lucky enough to have people who will help you achieve your goal.

While the Yin Jia and Yi Duo Stars are a cause for concern, you can easily protect yourself from it by wearing a protection amulet.

The good news is that you also have the Golden Deity Star, and having this star means you’ll get blessings from various deity. This is also an auspicious star that helps brings in wealth, and so this is considered as an extremely auspicious star, especially in a year when the energies are lacking of wealth luck / financial luck / money luck.

Recommendations:

In your room or office put some crystal ball or 6 White Jade tied with a red string. People who are staying in this sector and people born in the year of the Sheep or Monkey will do well if they invite an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deity or Immortal by wearing their image as a pendant. I personally suggest one of the following: Avalokitesvara aka Kuan Yin, Shakyamuni Buddha, and/or Earth Store Bodhisattva (also known as Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha or Di Zhang Wang Pu Sa.

To enhance the Golden Deity Star, it is best to wear an image of Bodhisattva Earth Store.

You can easily protect yourself from the ill effects of the Yin Jia and Yi Duo Stars by wearing the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and LAMA ATISHA combined amulet.

 

 

THE WEST HAS THE #2 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE ILLNESS STAR!

IT ALSO HAS THE ANNUAL CONFLICT AND REDUCING ENERGY STARS OF THE 24 MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA!

As the name implies, this star causes illness and to some extent it can be fatal or terminal. This star also causes some accidents that may make you invalid for a long time if not permanently. Everybody who stays in this sector is affected.

Both the Annual Conflict Stars and the Reducing Energy Stars of the 24 Mountain Stars Formula are negative stars, and thus these are stars that will definitely be dealt with. The Annual Conflict star will definitely bring in a lot of stress that may develop into something serious, but having this star both in WEST 1 and WEST 3 sectors will definitely make things so much worse. Then the Reducing Energy star, joining the Illness Star will definitely make things bad for people who stays in this sector.

Recommendations:

To counter the effects of this illness star (also of the reducing energy star of the 24 Mountain Stars Formula), it is important that one constantly recite the Sutra of the Medicine Buddha and the Medicine Buddha Mantra (TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA). Secondary cure for this displaying a Wu Lou (also spelled as Wulou) or Holy Gourd and putting it at the West of the house.

Two years ago my Guru Lama has come up with a special Illness Suppression Amulet and that is he has combined three of the most powerful anti-illness and anti-accident mantras, which he has consecrated under the Tooth Relic of Shakyamuni Buddha and included some powerful Dharma Pills.

I shall write about the Dharma Pills in my succeeding post. But basically, a Dharma Pill is a special small object that is made of second-class relics of high lamas and is highly consecrated. Please note consecration is better than simply blessing it.

The mantras that are included in this Illness Suppression Amulet are the Medicine Buddha Mantra printed in a blue paper, Namgyalma Mantra and White Umbrella Goddess Mantra printed on a white paper, and Amitayus Mantra printed on a red paper. Aside from wearing this, this should definitely be in the West sector of the house or office. For this year, my Guru Lama has made an enhanced ‘version’ of this amulet. I still don’t have it but will see it soon.

This year he has replaced the holder and made it into metal, because the metal elements helps suppress the illness star.

People in this sector can also wear the Special Gold Piyao to suppress the double effects of the Annual Conflict Star.

 

THE NORTHWEST HAS #1 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE VICTORY STAR!

IT ALSO HAS THE SMALL AUSPICIOUSNESS STAR AND THE STAR OF ROBBERY OF THE 24 MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA. THIS YEAR, THE TAI SUEY OR THE GRAND DUKE JUPITER ALSO RESIDES ON THIS SECTOR!

This is quite auspicious because this will in some way temper the challenging Bazi chart (Paht Chee chart) of the year, especially at the beginning to the year. As mentioned the beginning of the year may prove to be quite difficult for people who wants or have some money – making projects to take off. This is a good star especially for those who have projects that are not wealth – centric. This also gives an advantage for those who stays in this sector in their career.

This sector also has the Small Auspiciousness Star, but for this year, every small blessing is big and so those whose house or buildings or office, or those who stay in this sector are quite lucky to have this star.

Unfortunately, you also have the Star of Robbery, and so as the name of the star implies you have to be careful about robbery. However, robbery here doesn’t only imply to actual robbery, although it could be that, but more of being robbed off your hard work on a project like recognition, or losing the project at its final stage.

Recommendations:

Put in your bedroom / office or carry or wear one of the following images – Victory Banner, Lung – Ta or Wind Horse, Kuan Kong, or Vajrapani Ruel or Surangama Mantra Amulet.

Note: That if the center of your house or office is a stockroom or washroom /comfort room/ rest room this is really bad and you should try to avoid using that room.

For the Star of Robbery, having the Vajrapani Ruel or the Special Gold Piyao or the Kalachakra Pendant made of gold is enough protection for you not to be affected by this star.

It is extremely advisable for you to activate the Small Auspiciousness Star by having the Special Gold Piyao.

However, it should be noted that this year, the Tai Suey God is in the Northwest. It has to be noted that Tai Suey is not part of the Flying Star or 24 Mountain Star but we need to always take this into consideration because offending the Tai Suey will create a lot of bad luck.

The Taoists, where most of how we do Feng Shui originated, believes that a certain God called Tai Suey or Tai Sui or Grand Duke in English rules a year. This year 2018, the Tai Sui (Tai Suey) God of the year is Supreme General Jiang Wu. However, you have to understand a little about Taoist Gods for you to be able to understand why we have to be careful in dealing with the Tai Suey.

Taoist Gods are like humans with supernatural powers. They have magical and godly powers but they may also have human temperament and they also have characters and personalities. Meaning, they can get angry with our acts, they can be disturbed and get angry with us and thus render a punishment to us, or maybe the simple act of them getting irritated with us might create some misfortune. However, they can also be appeased and happy with us and render us some good blessings, or again, the simple act of the Tai Suey getting happy with us will create some good fortune.

To help ensure that Tai Suey is happy with us always carry an image of the Pi Yao or Pi Xiu. This celestial animal will help appease the Grand Duke or Tai Suey. Another image that can help manage the Tai Suey God is to carry, display or wear an image of the Wind Horse or Lung Ta. People born in the year of the Dog and Pig are directly affected by the Tai Suey God (also spelled as Tai Sui, Tai Sue) regardless of where their room is, also affected are the Horse and Rat, and they should have the Piyao. Also, if your door faces Northwest, or if your bedroom and office is in the Northwest you should also put the image of the Piyao. People who are occupying the West also should wear or carry the image of the Piyao. Also, one of the best protections for the Tai Suey is an image of the Goddess of the North Star or Dou Mu Yuan Jun, thus having her image is also highly advisable.

 

THE NORTH HAS THE MOST DREADED STAR WHICH IS THE #5 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE 5 – YELLOW STAR OR WU WANG!

IT ALSO HAS THE THREE KILLINGS AND NATURAL DISASTER STARS OF THE 24 – MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA!

Feng Shui practitioners all know that this is the most dreadful star amongst all the 4 bad flying stars. In fact, sometimes it doesn’t matter whether you’re lucky base on your Bazi chart, if you are afflicted with this you are going to face a very challenging year. This year, the Wu Wang is ever more dreadful because it lands on the North sector, maybe not as dreadful as when it landed in the Northeast on 2016 but still it is more dreadful than usual. That is because the North is ruled by the water element, which actually reduces the energy of the metal it should make the Wu Wang, an earth element weaker. But this year, the North has weak water energies and the double earth energy of the years makes the Wu Wang stronger. So, the effects may be doubled. If you stay (office, room) in this sector or if your house faces this sector or if you are born in the year of the RAT, it’s IMPERATIVE that you deal with this star. If you are on a budget and there is only one thing that you can deal with this year, deal with this. I cannot stress enough the importance of dealing with this.

Add to that is the Three Killings, and the Natural Disaster Stars. I’m not very worried with the three killings but since North is also weakened you will need extra protection. Not to mention you also have the Natural Disaster Star.

Again, the 5 – Yellow Star is the worst of all negative stars! It’s the most dreaded star. It is said to bring 5 different kinds of misfortunes!

And as mentioned this year the Wu Wang is much stronger.

Recommendations:

AGAIN! AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE MOVE OUT FROM THIS SECTION OR DON’T USE THIS SECTION. If that is not possible, you can also use the Five Element Pagoda (5 – Element Pagoda), and the Kalachakra made of gold. But I only recommended this as a secondary option. There is going to be a slight difference on how you use the Five Element Pagoda. First, make sure you are using a new one, take away the old ones and get a new one. Make sure also that it is something that can be opened (please see image below). Inside the top opening, instead of putting a soil, put a crystal. In that case you will still have use an earth element but with a very positive chi. Then at the bottom opening, you have to put three to five powerful amulets or mantras or sutras. I strongly recommend the following:

Please note that you should have at least have 2 of the first three suggestions.

For people who stays in this section of the house or building and if you can’t move out of this sector, it is very important that you wear either the Kalachakra (gold or jade and the Five Element Pagoda (strictly in gold) and also carry with you at least 3 of the mentions amulets that has to be placed inside the Five Element Pagoda. Furthermore, people born in the year of the Horse should also ensure that they wear either the Five Element Pagoda (gold) and the Kalachakra (gold, crystal quartz, jade) and carry the above-mentioned amulets. The logic of this advice will be explained on the forecast for the Rat.

Admittedly, the 5 – Element Pagoda and the Kalachakra pendants can be hard to find, especially you need to wear them in gold. For the Kalachakra pendant, you can search the web to look for one, there are some online stores that sell them in gold or clear quartz or jade. It might be a little pricey though. For the Five – Element Pagoda gold pendant, unfortunately, I have been searching the web where to get this but I can only find two sources. One is thru Lillian Too’s online store.

The other one is through a private seller. I only have praises for the one sold online in Feng Shui Megamall of Lillian Too, but the only drawback is that it can be quite pricey (relatively speaking) and with the tax and shipping fee involved, it’s price is almost doubled.

I also asked my Feng Shui teacher about other alternatives for the cure against the Wu Wang, and as of now it remains to be the 5 – Element Pagoda or (secondary) the Kalachakra and nothing else.

But I’m glad that a reader from Davao has since then provided me a 5 – Element Pagoda and Kalachakra with superb craftsmanship, unlike my previous jeweler, she has also proven to be quite professional and trustworthy. Her Five Element Pagoda pendant and Kalachakra pendant both fashioned in gold which is quite important for the purpose of protection is as good as that of the ones found online but with half or only 1/5 (for the Kalachakra) of the price.

It is worth noting again that for this year the Five – Element Pagoda should include some powerful mantra or sutra amulets and instead of soil put some crystals. For those who will need to wear the Five – Element Pagoda pendant it has to be in gold and carry 3 of the mentioned powerful mantra or sutra amulets above.

It is also important to get these cures early because you would want the protection energy to build up already.

This year the Three Killings also found its way to the EAST, Unlike the Tai Suey or the Five Yellow Star, which we must avoid, the 3 – Killings is something that we must confront. Meaning, the best way to deal with it is to face the Three Killings and not turn our back against it. If the 3 Killings is not confronted then it can wreak three kinds of misfortunes to a person. The three misfortunes are accident, financial loss, and illness.

So a good way of dealing with the Three Killings is to place the image of the Three Celestial Guardians or images of three different Buddha, Bodhisattva, Deity or Immortal in the East section of the room, house, office, and building. Those who are staying in the East section of their house, office, building, or room must wear an image of the Three Celestial Guardians or images of three different Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or Deities or Immortals. But because the North is already weakened having the FOUR DHARMKAYA RELIC MANTRAS AND LAMA ATISHA COMBINED AMULET is also a must.

The Three Celestial Guardians are the Fu Dog, Chi Lin (also spelled as Qi Lin or Chilin or Chi Lin) and Piyao (also spelled or called Pi Yao, Pi Xiu, Pixiu).

 

 

THE NORTHEAST HAS THE #3 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE ARGUMENTATIVE STAR!

IT ALSO HAS THE ANNUAL KILLING STAR, BIG AUSPICIOUSNESS STAR AND EARTH SEAL STAR OF THE 24 MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA!

The Flying Star #3 also known, as the Argumentative Star is a star that causes relationship problem, numerous bickering, litigation problems, quarrels and problems/conflicts with people in authority. If not controlled and suppressed, this star will bring about tremendous problems with your family and officemates or business partners. It can also cause a lot of unnecessary legal issues. This star has to be suppressed.

The Annual Killing Star is a star that causes a lot of problem, but the good thing is this sector also has the Big Auspiciousness Star and the Earth Seal. The Big Auspiciousness Star is a powerful star that brings in wealth amongst other blessings. The Earth Seal, has the potential to bring in wealth also but you have to ‘cultivate’ it.

Recommendations:

The best cures for this argumentative star are either the Ksitigarbha Fireball or the Nine – Ring Sword of Kuan Kong. The image of Kuan Kong is also a very good cure for this star. People affected by this star can wear or carry an image of the cures. The Maitreya Buddha also known as the Happy Fat Buddha is also a great help. These are what I normally recommend. But lately I noticed that another great cure for this are the Surangama Mantra Amulet and Kuan Yin with Heart Sutra Pendant. However, in the past few years it has been proven that the gold pendant of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (Earth Store Bodhisattva) worn around the neck is also a very powerful tool against this star. Furthermore, the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and LAMA ATISHA combined amulets will also work well for this star. For those people whose office or bedroom is in this sector should wear the image of Earth Store Bodhisattva pendant made of gold.

For the annual killing star one can use the Special Gold Piyao to counter the effects of this star. To help activate the Earth Seal, one can wear an image of Bodhisattva Earth Store as a gold pendant.

One should note though that regardless of your Chinese Animal Zodiac, it will be good for everybody to have the Holy Trinity of Amulets of the year, which is basically are the (1) Special Gold Piyao or the VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET; (2) gold pendant of the image of Di Zhang Wang Pu Sa (Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha / Earth Store Bodhisattva); and the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and LAMA ATISHA combined amulets in a metal holder.

The Four Heavenly Kings: Getting to Know Four Powerful Buddhist Gods that Helps Bestow Wealth, Success, Peace, and Protection.

Today is a very good day and an exciting day (please note that actual writing and date of posting are usually different from each other) for me and in a way for my regular readers and believers of Feng Shui and Buddhism it should be a good day for you also, because today is the day I was told by my Guru Lama to share with you about the Four Heavenly Kings.four heavenly kings

The Four Heavenly Kings has been featured in numerous Buddhist Sutras, one of which is in The Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva; Earth Store Bodhisattva is also known as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva or Di Zhang Pu Sa. In this particular sutra, Sakyamuni Buddha (The Historical Buddha) directly addressed the Four Heavenly Kings to help propagate the Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva. They were also prominently mentioned in the highly revered Golden Light Sutra.

It is said that those who recite the Golden Light Sutra will be protected by the Four Heavenly Kings themselves. Furthermore, those who recite and keep the Lotus Sutra will also be protected by the Four Heavenly Kings.

From this we can see that the Four Heavenly Kings are powerful protector Buddhist gods, however, as you read on you will that they don’t only protect us but they each also have a specific function which is different from each other.

At this point, I would like to clarify that the Four Heavenly Kings are gods in the Buddhist pantheon; it means they are not yet Bodhisattvas or Buddhas, and they serve the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas.

Again, The Four Heavenly Kings are Buddhist gods, each of who watches over their assigned cardinal direction of the world. The cardinal directions are East, West, North, and South. In Chinese they are originally known or called as “Fēng Tiáo Yǔ Shùn” (風調雨順), which literally translates to “Good climate”, but in the translation in the Chinese version of sutras they are called “Sì Dà Tiānwáng” (四大天王) which means “Four Great Heavenly Kings”.four heavenly kings 2

In most Chinese Buddhist Temples, one will normally see the THE HEAVENLY KINGS HALL. This is usually one of the first most majestic halls one will see.

The Four Heavenly Kings resides in Mt. Sumeru, a celestial and cosmic mountain where the heavens are. They are also the protector of the world and they fight evil, each of the 4 Heavenly Kings are able to command a legion of supernatural creatures to protect the Dharma or people who follow the Dharma.

Each of the Four Heavenly Kings serves Sakra, the of the devas (gods) of the Trayastrimsha Heaven. In Buddhism there are many heavens, and the Tranyastrimsha Heaven is the heaven nearest to our world, which is called Jambvudpiva is Buddhist sutras.

Although they are more commonly called as the Four Heavenly Kings, each one of them has a name and their specific directions and functions. Allow me to introduce to you the Four Heavenly Kings:

VAISRAVANA (He Who Hears Everything)Vaisravana.

  • Is the chief of the Four Heavenly Kings and is the main protector of the cardinal direction North. He is sometimes likened to Bodhisattva Kuan Yin (also spelled or called as Quan Yin, Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Quan Shi Yin, Avalokitesvara, Kannon, Chenrezig, Bodhisattva of Compassion, Goddess of Mercy) whose literal translation is THE WHO HEAR THE CRIES OF THE WORLD.
  • Vaisravana is also known as Kubera, Namtose (Namthose), Vessavana, Thao Kuwen, Wetsawan, Wetsuwan, Wéthawún Nat Min, Duō Wén Tiānwáng.
  • Vaisravana is the rule of water or rain, which is also the element that represents wealth or money. The umbrella or the pagoda are his symbolic weapons. Vaisravana is considered as a very powerful god of wealth.
  • In fact, Vaisravana rules over the famous gods of weatlh, which are the Five Dzambhalas (also spelled as Dzambhala, Dzambala, Jambala, Jambhala, Zambhala, Zambala) namely Red Dzambhala, Yellow Dzambhala, White Dzambhala, Black or Blue Dzambhala, and Green Dzambhala. He rules over the Dzambhalas amongst other Yaksha (also spelled as Yaksa) which are generals of the heavenly realm.
  • Vaisravana is often associated with the colors yellow and green.
  • Symbols of Vaisravana: Umbrella, Stupa, Pagoda, Mongoose
  • Cardinal Direction: North

VIRUDHAKA (He Who Causes To Grow)Virudhaka

  • Is the king of the South. He is the ruler of the wind. And is the god who helps cause good growth of roots or crops.
  • His symbolic weapon is the sword, which he carries in his right hand to protect the Dharma and also to symbolize power over ignorance.
  • Virudhaka is also known as Virūḷhaka, Thao Wirunhok, Virúlaka Nat Min, Zēng Zhǎng Tiānwáng, Zōchō-ten, Jeungjang-cheonwang,
  • Virudhaka rules over Kumbhanda, which are a group of dwarfish spirits and is considered as one of the lesser deities in Buddhism.
  • Virudhaka is often associated with the color blue.
  • Symbol of Virudhaka: Sword
  • Cardinal Direction: South

DHRTARASTRA (He Who Upholds the Realm)Dhrtarastra

  • Is the king that rules over East. He is also considered as the God of Music.
  • His symbolic weapon is a stringed instrument called pipa.
  • It is said that Dhrtarastra uses music to convert all sentient beings to Buddhism. While all of the Four Heavenly Kings are harmonious and compassionate, Dhrtarastra is considered to be a god that helps promotes harmony and compassion.
  • Dhrtarastra is also known as Dhrutharashṭa, Thao Thatarot, Daddáratá Nat Min, Chí Guó Tiānwáng, Jikoku-ten, Jiguk-cheonwang, Yülkhorsung.
  • Dhrtarastra rule over the gandharvas, which are male nature spirits that has superb heavenly and celestial musical skills. They are part animal usually a bird or a horse, and acts as messenger between gods and humans.
  • Dhrtarastra are often associated with the color white.
  • Symbol of Dhrtarastra: Pipa
  • Cardinal Direction: East.

VIRUPAKSA ( He Who Sees All)Virupaksa

  • Is the king that rules over the West. He is considered as the one who sees everything that happens in the Dharma world.
  • His symbolic weapons are snake or a red cord that is representative of a dragon.
  • It is said the Virupaksa watches over us in the sky, and that when we solemnly call on him in time of danger, he will guard and protect us. And if you are not Buddhist and for some reason knows a lot of Buddhism, it is said that it Virupaksa is the one who feeds you these informations.
  • Virupaksa is also known as Virūpakkha, Virūpaksha, Thao Wirupak, Virúpekka Nat Min, Guăng Mù Tiānwáng, Kōmoku-ten, Gwangmok-cheonwang,
  • Virupaksa rules over the Nagas, which is a deity that has taken the form of a very great snake.
  • Virupaksa is often associated with the color red.
  • Symbols of Virupaksa: Snake, Stupa, Pearl.
  • Cardinal Direction: West

According to Guru Lama praying to the Four Heavenly Kings will provide us with wealth and prosperity (thru King Vaisravana), success and progress (thru King Virudhaka), peace and harmony (thru King Dhrtarastra) and, good health and protection from danger (thru King Virupaksa). Placing their images at home also serves as one of the most powerful protection amulet one can have.

Guru Lama shares with me a story about how when he was assigned by the Dalai Lama to leave Dharamsala, India to help spread Buddhism and build temple in other parts of Asia, he has personally tapped into the blessings and power of the Four Heavenly Kings.

That was a few decades ago and when he left India, he was only given small amount money to travel and spread the Dharma and eventually build a temple. Guru Lama said he was a little apprehensive because a few years back they just left Tibet because of Chinese oppression, and when he was asked to leave again to spread the Dharma, he was apprehensive and really nervous even though he was excited and felt honored to be entrusted with the task of spreading the Dharma.

A few months before leaving India, he started preparing himself physically and mentally to this overwhelming task. He would always meditate on the teaching of the different sutras and would always draw strength from Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (aka Kuan Yin, Quan Yin, Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Quan Shi Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Chenrezig, Kannon) and Bodhisattva Vajrapani. One night in his sleep he received a vision that Vajrapani Bodhisattva visited him and that he was shown the images of the Four Heavenly Kings. Upon waking up he knew then that he would need the help of the Four Heavenly Kings to help progress in his endeavor.

This totally make sense, because if you go back to the description of the Four Heavenly Kings, he will need wealth and prosperity to help build a temple, success and progress so that people will see the good side of what he was about to do, peace and harmony so that he can transmute that feeling to the people around him, good health for this overwhelming task, and protection to ensure that he doesn’t come to harm’s way in spreading the Dharma.

And so my Guru Lama started worshipping and praising the Four Heavenly Kings by making offerings to them and by chanting the mantras of the Four Heavenly Kings. He also vigorously recited The Golden Light Sutra, and The Lotus Sutra (full title is called “Sūtra on the White Lotus of the Sublime Dharma”). And the rest is history. According to Guru Lama he was able to become an instrument into building a temple and building a Sangha (Buddhist community) with relative ease. Money for the temple just kept on pouring in.

Note: To this day Guru Lama still actively participate in building temples. The stipulated donation from the amulets goes to the feeding of the monks or building temples or making of images of Buddhas or Bodhisattvas.

And so today, again for the first time, I want to share with you a powerful mantra that will help you attract wealth and prosperity, success and progress, peace and harmony, lastly, good health and protection, you can recite the mantras of each of the Four Heavenly Kings.

Here are the mantras of each of the Four Heavenly Kings:

  1. For Wealth and Prosperity recite the Mantra of King Vaisravana: OM VAISRAVANA YE SOHA
  2. For Success and Progress in Life recite the Mantra of King Virudhaka: OM VIRUDHAKA KUMBHANDADHIPATA YE SOHA
  3. For Peace and Harmony recite the Mantra of King Dhrtarastra: OM DHRTARASTRA RALAPRAVADHAHA SOHA
  4. For Good Health and Protection recite the Mantra of King Virupaksa: OM VIRUPAKSA NAGA DHIPATA YE SOHA

Deflecting A Hostile Energy that is Leading to A Fight with the Power of the Seed Syllable Hum and Hrih!

I’m pretty positive that a lot of you have in one way or another got into a fight already. It may be as bad as a physical fight or it can be an intense argument. Sometimes, these things happen instantly that we are left wondering as to what happened, but most of the time, I’m pretty sure that most of us are able to see as to when a fight is about to happen. We can see this by reading the facial and body language of the people involve, or simply being aware of our own emotions. For some you will know that a fight is really about to happen because you actually feel the hostile energy or hostile energies that leads up to it.

Not all arguments leads to a fight, in fact, some of us may see people having argument and it may be heating it up a little but somehow we know that it ends there. This is because we can, albeit subconsciously, feel the hostile energy of a fight is actually not present. In fact, even the body and facial language of the people involve are actually the result of them feeling the hostile energies.

In one of my recent travels, I brought with me a special amulet, as it turn out I cannot just bring it with me on the plane and I had to have some kind of a special permit from the Bureau of Customs and the National Museum. This resulted to some argument between me and my travel companions with the authorities, not because we don’t understand the rules, but due to how they handled the situation. The first time this happened, I just brought to mind as to how one of my readers, BM, will handle the matter, and so the hostile energy was deflected by the calm and peaceful energy I projected.

However, because of that tension, one of my travel companion who happens to be client and is paying for the trip got a little riled, and maybe she sort of absorbed all the hostile energies that seems to be surrounding us at that time, especially she doesn’t believe in Feng Shui and is not wearing any amulet. And truth be told she was also under a lot of stress at that time because it was the first big project that her company entrusted her to lead, and plus we have to deal with some politicians. So after the issue has been cleared with the Custom Officer at the airport and everything should have been sort of mellowed, she is still quite agitated and would get quite heated up with petty matters. So it became a little stressful for the group, although at that time I wasn’t much affected because of the amulets that are with me and I made it a point to project a peaceful and positive energy.

Nevertheless, she seems unable to deflect the negative energy and we got to our destination, she was still riled up and seems to be picking a fight with everybody. At some point, one of her colleague and me became the target of her irritation and she was almost sort of picking a fight. After the first meeting of the day, when we had a 10 minute break, her colleague who believes in Feng Shui took me aside and ask me whether I notice that we have been the target of the irritation of the project head. I said yes, he then said he is really close to fighting back.  It is then I remembered one of the best way to deflect an hostile energy, and that is by using the seed syllables Hum and Hrih, and since there is 2 of us, I told him that I will very quietly chant Hum and he should quietly chant Hrih and send those energies to the project head. We do this by simply looking at her and mindfully sending her the energies.

That’s what we both did and to the surprise of the other guy, she (the project head) calmed down and what nice again. She was back to her natural calm and sweet self.

Before I talk more about the seed syllable Hum and Hrih, it should be stated here that I think she got most affected with the hostile energies simply because she physically hasn’t had enough rest and she was worried about the project, this created a chip on her aura that she began to absorb all the unwanted hostile or negative energies.

Now why did I use the seed syllable Hum and Hrih. Hum is a very powerful protective syllable, and it also has the power to send positive energies, does I decided to use that. Hrih on the other hand is powerful seed syllable to deflect negative energies, in fact, if you are in an highly intense surrounding or profession such as being a lawyer, politician, marketing, or advertising it will be good if you wear the seed syllable Hrih. It makes a good protection amulet.

In my previous post, I introduced you the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS, now allow me to introduce you to another very powerful Buddhist amulet called – LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET.

This is said to be one of the most powerful protection amulet in Buddhism. According to Lama Zopa Rinpoche, simply seeing or touching a copy of the said amulet will bring a person tremendous protection against physical harm.

It functions like that of the scapular for Catholics. If a person has this on his body at that time of his or her death, it is guaranteed that he or she will have a good rebirth and will be saved from the lower realms. If displayed inside the house or office, one will be saved from bad influences of other people and it will help create harmony. It is also very good to have this amulet if one is in the hospital, to protect a person from the yin chi of the hospital, and it will also prevent you from getting the attention of the lost souls. Thus, it is also a very good amulet to have to wear when one is going to a funeral or cemetery.

I don’t have a personal story or story that I heard first hand about the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET, but one of the most popular story associated by the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET, and is widely accepted by the different Buddhist traditions is a story that happened fairly recently. It was suppose to have happened to a young Tibetan man and his family.

As you all know, China has invaded Tibet and a lot of people they are either doing some ethnic cleansing or is slowly erasing the cultures and traditions of the Tibetan who are still in Tibet. The man’s name is Tenzin Choejor ( the truth is Tenzin is a fairly common Tibetan boy’s name because it means ‘holder of Buddhist doctrines’, and the current Dalai Lama’s name himself is Tenzin. I was told that Choezor is not a family name but it is a second name, which means Dharma Wealth. From the name of the man, it can be concluded that his parents are devout Buddhist, but this is not unique because most Tibetans are devout Buddhist.)

Tenzin Choejor’s family is one of the many Tibetans who’ve experienced oppression in Tibet. He was born after the 14th Dalai Lama has fled to Tibet to escape the Chinese oppression, so it can be said that he has never experienced true freedom. He has always long for to escape the Chinese oppression of Tibet but has not dared to do it because all his family are in Tibet. However, his perspective changed when he got married and started to have his own family.

It is said that Tenzin Choejor has planned to escape with his parents, but in a country ruled by oppression and where paranoia is really high, the government soon found out about his plan to escape. It is said that it was possible that another relative or a friend squealed on him. Like most Tibetans who plan to escape or oppose the Chinese government, he was tortured and separated from his family and was put to hard labor for several years. Upon his release, he find it hard to start a new life, because he was considered as an ‘ex-convict’ and even fellow Tibetans who took pity on him will not hire him because they’re afraid that they might earn the ire of the Chinese government. This is when he realized and decided that the only way for him to survive and take care of his family is if they escape Tibet. This time, however, Tenzin Choejor is more careful and he only confided to his father, who told him to ask for the blessing of his grandfather, his father’s uncle, for a blessing because it will be a long journey, a very difficult one, and if caught they might be killed on the spot or if they’re not caught they might die of freezing in the mountains. His father also cautioned him to think again of his plans because Tenzin Choejor’s children then aged 10 and 7 might not survive the trip. However, Tenzin Choejor knew that’s the only way for them to have a better life, and he thought it is better to risk their lives that forever live under the Chinese oppression.

Tenzin Choejor great uncle is one of the few monks left in Tibet who has personally met the Fourteenth Dalai Lama, and because he is monk in a place under Chinese rule, it is expected that he is very poor. So he has nothing to offer Tenzin Choejor but the blessing that Tenzin Choejor seeks from him. He performed some Buddhist protection ritual, which was improvised to adjust to their situation, but then took Tenzin Choejor aside to tell him that there is one thing that he would like to give Tenzin Choejor.

He told Tenzin Choejor that he believe that the only reason he was able to escape the Chinese’s physical oppression, unlike most monks, is because of an amulet that he has kept for a long time. He told Tenzin Choejor that he believes that the amulet is one of the reasons that he remained alive under the hands of the Chinese communist government. He then gave Tenzin Choejor a leather cloth where the image of LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET is printed. He told Tenzin Choejor that the amulet would keep his family safe. It is said that Tenzin Choejor initially refused to accept the amulet, but his great uncle insisted and told him that he has no need for the amulet because of his old age and that he is ready to part with his body.

Tenzin Choejor then proceeded to escape Tibet. It must be noted that after the initial exodus of Tibetans from Tibet, the Chinese communist government has intensified border security, making it harder for all Tibetan planning to go to exile to leave Tibet. There is no exact statistics as to how many people have been killed or captured and tortured just because the seek a better life. Tenzin Choejor armed with determination and faith in his ‘religion’ decided to set out on an escape with his wife and two young children.

lamaatishaprotectionamulet3On his way to India, Tenzin Choejor encountered several problems, but somehow they manage to get away with it. Among these two things are an encounter with a Chinese soldiers and a fight against nature.

First, on their escape, they literally came across some Chinese soldiers, and because of fatigue and coldness because of the freezing snow, he and his wife noticed them a little too late. They came across two drunken Chinese soldiers, and was almost apprehended, in fact, a gun was already pointed at them. Should the soldiers decided to shoot at them, the soldiers won’t get reprimanded because there is a standing order to shoot to kill all people who are trying to escape. Fearing for the life of his family, Tenzin Choejor used his body to block his wife and kids, and instinctively touched the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET given to him by his great uncle and started to call on the Buddhas. According to their testimony, Tenzin Choejor’s wife didn’t know where he mustered her courage to talk to the soldiers.

Tenzin Choejor’s wife knows how to speak Chinese, being born and raised under the Chinese communist government; Chinese has been her second language. Tenzin Choejor knows the language also but because he grew up in the countryside he understands it better than he can speak. His wife on the other hand knows how to speak it but not fluently either. But she managed to address the soldiers and pretend that she is Chinese, and when asked why Tenzin Choejor’s himself doesn’t speak she told them that her husband is deaf – mute. There are many loopholes to her cover, like how can she explain their looks and what are they doing in the mountain, but because it was dark and maybe because the Chinese soldiers were drunk they let them go. Tenzin Choejor believes that it is because of LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET.

The second ordeal was when they were in the mountain, Tenzin Choejor’s second child got really ill. Without medicine all Tenzin Choejor and his wife can do are to call on the help of the Buddhas. Tenzin Choejor decided to take off the amulet and placed it on top of his son’s body. Needless to say, the son got healed.

After weeks of travelling in the mountain they finally got to the border of Tibet and India, where they plan to go in exile and seeks the Dalai Lama’s protection. But little did they know that India besieged by thousands and thousand of Tibetan exiles and without a place to put them has made it harder for Tibetans to go inside their country. Though they don’t understand each other, Tenzin Choejor understands the problem with their facial and body language. He started to touch the amulet again and hope for the best. Soon they were met by a Tibetan who took their story. Three days after they were put on a holding area, luckily with food, they were told that they could stay in India.

According to Tenzin Choejor, and these were acknowledge by the highest ranking lamas, it was because of the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET that Tenzin Choejor and his family survived the ordeal.

But who is LAMA ATISHA?

For that allow me to share his story using Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s own words. The following was lifted from the archive of FPMT.

Having a little bit of understanding of the life story of Atisha is very beneficial for our mind, so we can try to understand the teaching he wrote. By understanding Atisha’s life story and how he practiced Dharma and achieved realizations, devotion arises and we can feel that his teaching is most precious and pure. 1

Actually it is a very long life story, and it is divided into three parts. In order to have some idea about the great bodhisattva Atisha and how he benefited sentient beings, there are stories about his birth, his home, his birthplace and his early life. The stories explain how he achieved great knowledge and realizations with that holy body. Then after achieving the knowledge and realizations of the path, he benefited the teachings and helped sentient beings— he led the disciples and sentient beings to happiness.

Atisha’s birthplace was in Bengal, India. He was born as a prince and his family was extremely wealthy. He was surrounded by servants and workers, and there were 100,000 people just in his palace. The palace had thirteen golden roofs and 25,000 golden banners on the top, and there were also many pools, like in the West. At the palace there were 25,000 pools and beautiful parks, gardens of beautiful flowers that people could enjoy, seven bridges, and special trees that only grow in India.

When Atisha was three, he became an expert in general education—in astrology, letters, the brahmas, these things. He also became expert in discriminating the inner and outer being, so his parents wanted him very badly to take the place of the king. They tried very hard, but after some time he left with 300 horses, disguised as an army going to fight.

Many people went into the forest with Atisha to seek the guru. He took many teachings on refuge and bodhicitta, and then the guru sent him home to check up and try to understand the suffering of life. This happened three times. He came back, the guru sent him to another guru, and that guru sent him home to check up on the shortcomings of worldly life. His parents tried very hard to have him marry and take the place of a king. They invited all the beautiful women of the country to a party, and let them all dance around, but it didn’t work.

Atisha explained, “ There is no difference for my mind between this palace and a prison. There is no difference between beautiful, expensive clothes and the torn cloth in the garbage. There is no difference between delicious food and dog meat and pus. There is no difference between princesses and mara women—devil women.” Why devil women? Because they transform into beautiful bodies and cheat us. His parents listened to him.

Atisha followed 157 gurus perfectly and received many teachings, initiations and Vajrayana teachings. Once, while he was at home, Tara, the female aspect of Buddha, instructed him in a dream not to be attached to the samsaric happiness of worldly life. After this, Atisha went to see his guru. Then one day, after receiving many initiations, he thought, “There is no Vajrayana teaching left that I don’t know. I have become the most learned.” He felt a little bit of pride. That night, he had a dream that many female dakinis— transformations of buddhas who have high realizations of tantra—showed him many Vajrayana texts that he had never seen before. This made him lose his feelings of pride.

Atisha wanted to receive Mahamudra realization in his lifetime, by living in Vajrayana conduct. One of his gurus, Rahula, suddenly realized with his psychic power that Atisha was thinking this. Without any resistance, Rahula appeared in front of Atisha and instructed him, “What are you doing, forgetting all the sentient beings by leaving them? Take ordination and do great work for the teachings. This will be greatly beneficial for the teachings.” So, Atisha took ordination when he was twenty-nine years old. He was persuaded to do so by his guru and also by the buddha’s female aspect, Tara, Guru Shakyamuni Buddha, Maitreya Buddha and many other buddhas and Vajrayana deities such as Heruka, in his dreams.

After some time, when he was going around the Bodhgaya stupa—the temple in India, the most holy place where Guru Shakyamuni Buddha received enlightenment— above the stupa, in space, he saw the transformation of a young woman asking an old woman a question. At that time Atisha was concerned with quickly receiving enlightenment, and in space the young woman was asking the old woman, “What path should we practice in order to quickly receive enlightenment?” The old woman said, “Train the mind in love and compassion, in bodhicitta.”

Again, when Atisha was going around the stupa, there were paintings on the walls that talked to each other. One painting asked the other what path we should follow to reach enlightenment quickly, and the other answered, “Train the mind in love and compassion, and bodhicitta.”

Again, when Atisha was going around near Nagarjuna’s caves, he saw the statues of Buddha communicating, saying, “Train the mind in love and the compassionate thought, bodhicitta.” There was one ivory statue, and it said, “Yogi, if you want to quickly receive enlightenment, train the mind in love and compassion, and the thought of bodhicitta.” Many statues spoke like this.

Atisha went to see Guru Serlingpa, and he spent about twelve years taking the complete teachings on bodhicitta. In the presence of Guru Serlingpa, he received the actual realization of bodhicitta. Then Lama Serlingpa predicted that he should go to Tibet, the northern snow land.

At that time, there was a lot of degeneration of the teachings in Tibet. The people did not know how to practice the teachings, and they were confused about the practice of sutra and tantra together. The king of Tibet, Lha Lama Yeshe Ö, sent twenty-one boys to India to study Dharma and all of them except two died from the heat. These two came back to Tibet and told the king that everyone was talking about Atisha, the pandit, and that they should invite him to Tibet to help. These two translators’ names were Rinchen Sangpo and Legshey.

As soon as Lha Lama Yeshe Ö, the king of Tibet, heard the name of Atisha, incredible devotion arose in his mind, and he decided to invite Atisha to Tibet. He sent many gold offerings to India to invite Atisha, but it didn’t work. Then afterwards, he went himself to find gold for Atisha, and he was captured and put in the prison by an irreligious king who didn’t want the spread of Dharma in Tibet.

King Lha Lama Yeshe Ö’s nephew, Jangchub Ö, came to see him in prison. The irreligious king told Jangchub Ö, “I won’t free your uncle until you find gold the size of his body.” So, Jangchub Ö found enough gold to reach up to his neck, but still the irreligious king was not satisfied. He said, “If you don’t bring gold the size of his head, I won’t let him be free from prison.” Again, Jangchub Ö went to his uncle, the king of Tibet, and explained all these things.

The imprisoned king of Tibet, Lha Lama Yeshe Ö, explained to his nephew that since a lot of gold was offered to the irreligious king and he was still not satisfied, Jangchub Ö should not offer this king even one handful of gold. King Lha Lama Yeshe Ö said he was now very old and did not have long to live, and it would be more beneficial for his nephew, Jangchub Ö, to take the gold. He said to Jangchub Ö, “I don’t care if I die in prison. Take all this gold and ask Atisha to come to Tibet and spread the Dharma.” Then the king sent a message to Atisha through his nephew, saying, “I gave up my life to invite you to Tibet. Please guide me with your compassion. What I have in my mind is only for you to come to Tibet and spread the teachings.”

The imprisoned king sent the message with Jangchub Ö with a suffering, frantic voice, and then he passed away in prison. His nephew sent a translator with many gold offerings to invite Atisha, but the kings and abbots of India wanted Atisha to stay there. Finally, Atisha received permission and he came secretly to Tibet and helped spread the Dharma there. According to his teachings, he wrote the Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment there.

Atisha spread the pure Mahayana teaching like the rising sun, and all conflict, ignorance, and wrong conceptions were destroyed. His text was translated into English by some Tibetan lamas and other translators. I am reading the translation of this teaching because it is extremely beneficial. It is so short. Atisha did great work and brought so much benefit to India and Tibet. In India he destroyed many followers of other religions, wrong paths and wrong conceptions. He did great work.

These days, many young people from the West have the chance to hear the teachings and to understand and practice these meditations on the gradual path to enlightenment. They can find satisfaction in their lives, and they can make their lives meaningful and happy. They integrate it in their own mind, and they understand that there is a chance to make their lives meaningful. All these things are due to the kindness of Atisha, the great bodhisattva.

This great bodhisattva, Atisha, lived in discipline, and had the realization of moral conduct. He kept the 253 precepts purely, and on the basis of that, the bodhisattva’s precepts, the moral conduct precepts and the Vajrayana precepts. He had unshakeable, firm, one-pointed concentration that could last for years—even if hundreds of rockets were flying nearby they couldn’t disturb or shake his meditation. He had perfect realization of shunyata, the absolute nature, and he achieved high tantric realizations, seeing himself in the form of deities.

Atisha had high tantric realization without projections, and he did not see ordinary places—we see an ordinary house built of mud or cement, an impure place, but Atisha had only pure projections and pure view, and he always saw the view of the mandala of the deities. He had high Vajrayana realizations and he was able to transform even kaka into nectar and poison into medicine.

We can meditate like this to increase devotion to Atisha’s teachings. We can do checking meditation according to that. We may find it difficult at the beginning of the subject, and it may take time to understand, but by checking and understanding more and more the various meditations and teachings, gradually it will become clear within our mind.

This is going to be one of my longest post, because this is something that I’ve wanted to write about for the longest time, but only recently got the permission to do so.

I’ve known about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET for quite some time now and I’ve always wanted to write about them, however, THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET both requires a special permission for one to be able to write about them.

In one of my trips to Singapore last year, I met with my guru Lama, and when I informed him about my blog and my desire to write about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET, he said that I can only write about them once he has given me the permission and once we have ensured that writing it will benefit my readers as well and that I will write for a bigger purpose. In short, I cannot write about them only because I believe in THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET and that I want to write about it. He also added that I need to pass several ‘test’ before I can write about them. I cannot go into details as to what are those tests are but it involves an oracle to be done by my guru Lama.

As you can discern, I was already given the permission to write about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET, this is because I did pass the test, and the oracle indicated that I could start writing about them because this has a higher purpose. I’ll write about the higher purpose in the third part of this series.

I will first write about the THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRA. It is not just one of the most powerful mantra in the world, but more than that it is also considered as relic, and it is one of the most powerful relics in Buddhism.

THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS is perhaps one of the most powerful Buddhist relics. It is considered as a first class relic and is considered by high lamas, like Lama Zopa Rinpoche, to be one of the most important mantra and sacred relics in the world.

THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS is compose of four (4 ) different relic mantras, and these are the following:

  • STAINLESS PINNACLE DIETY
  • SECRET RELIC
  • ZUNG OF THE EXALTED COMPLETELY PURE STAINLESS LIGHT
  • 100,000 ORNAMENTS OF ENLIGHTENMENT

To be completely honest, it took me years of on and off lessons before I understood the importance of the THE FOUR DHARMKAYA RELIC MANTRAS, but even then I don’t think I understand it completely.

However, what I’m sure of is having this relic is a great wonderful blessing of incomparable magnitude.

For those who are currently facing some difficulties in their life, THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS is sure to help make things easier. It’s also good to create good karma.

I first heard about the wonderful power of THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS several years back, I was already a student of Feng Shui then but not yet a serious student of Buddhism. This happened in Malaysia. I was looking for a Prayer Wheel that used a microfilm; this was when Prayer Wheels are still mostly made of ordinary paper. When I wasn’t able to get what I was looking for, the seller told me that more than Prayer Wheel; I should get myself a FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and use it as an amulet. That was the first time I heard about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS, and the seller told me about it.

According to the seller, he used to be poor, as in poor as one can be, his mother and himself lives on the street and they were times when they are only able to eat once – a – day and only if somebody will give them their scraps.

One of the places that they frequent is a Buddhist temple, and there a monk, would always give them food whenever he is around. In exchange, his mom would always ask him to help out in the temple. And although the monk doesn’t have much either because of his vow of poverty, and would only eat what was donated to him, he would always make sure that he has something for the seller and his mom.

One time, the monk gave him a 3 pieces of bread (mantou – a siopao dough without the meat). He only ate one, and when asked why, he explained that he would give 2 pieces to his mom. This earned him some praise from the monk. He then left to look for his mom to give the bread. On his way to look for his mom, who is doing some menial jobs in nearby market in exchange for a small amount of money, he came across a boy who looks really hungry. According to the seller he took pity, and decided to give a piece to the boy, although he all said that he had second thoughts because a piece of bread, for somebody who is always looking for food like them is a very big thing. Nevertheless, he said since he knows how it is to be really hungry; he decided to give it to the boy. Little did he know that the monk followed him to give him some fruits. The monk saw what he did and asked told him to bring he should ask his mom to go with him to the temple the next day.

When the seller and his mom arrived at the temple the following day, a monk told his mom about the generous act of the seller, who was a young boy then. The monk told his mom that he is giving both of them a powerful mantra written on yellow paper that they must wear on their body at all times. The said paper was already rolled and put in a leather pouch.

According to the seller, as soon as they started wearing the mantra on their body things started to change. Things started to get better. His mom found a regular job, and he got to go to school with the help of a businessman who owns the company where his mother works as a janitress.

As proof, the seller showed me the mantra given to them by the monk; it is now enclosed in a gold amulet holder, which he wears as a pendant. According to the seller, he has since married and was gifted with 11 children, who all became professionals! He humbly shared that the poor homeless boy now has 2 houses in the US, a house in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Germany! Of course, not to mention his 4 houses in Malaysia. He simply works because he doesn’t want to grow senile and his store also becomes a venue for him to share Buddhist amulets to people who can’t afford them.

It was only later that he found out that the mantra given to him by the monk is a blessed copy of THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS.

I like his story but didn’t put so much thought about the THE FOUR DHARMKAYA RELIC MANTRAS, until my guru Lama gave one copy to me and told me about it’s marvelous benefits.

It has the power to save us from harm and bless us if we strive to have a good heart.

It also has the power to bring us to enlightenment, something that every Buddhists aspire for.

It has the power to give us good rebirth.

It has the power to grant us enough financial wealth luck.

If you don’t know whether a place your going to has good or bad Feng Shui or Chi, wearing a copy of THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS on your body has the ability to protect you from all the negative chi or bad effects of the bad Feng Shui of a place.

Most Buddhist scriptures states that THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS should be put inside a stupa for it to be effective, and most of the teaching of Lama Zopa Rinpoche indicates that it should be put inside a stupa. However, the Dalai Lama said that although a stupa is preferred, it is not a requisite for THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS to be effective. A stupa is not the most practical thing to have by most people. It’s quite difficult to acquire one. And as we can see with the story of the seller, THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS was effective even if it was just place inside a leather pouch. My own copy of the THE FOUR DHARMKAYA RELIC MANTRAS was initially just placed inside a red cloth; I later transferred it to a metal amulet holder.

Allow me to post here what Lama Zopa Rinpoche has to say about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS. Please note that this was originally intended for other monks or Lamas so you have to make some adjustments in its interpretation to make it more applicable to a layperson like us.

The Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras and Their Benefits

The four dharmakaya relic mantras (Stainless Pinnacle Deity, Secret Relic, Zung of the Exalted Completely Pure Stainless Light, and 100,000 Ornaments of Enlightenment) are a sacred relic. They are the highest relics of Buddha, relics of the dharmakaya. Other relics, the ones that we normally see, such as relics of the robes or parts of Buddha’s holy body, are secondary relics. These four mantras are the highest relic. After I learned about the unbelievable benefits of each of these mantras, I had them written down and we printed many. These are normally what we should put inside stupas, statues, and so on. These very special mantras give unbelievable power. If you have put these mantras inside a statue, the devas will come to worship that holy object three times a day.

By putting these mantras inside a stupa, even a bell that is offered to the stupa brings unimaginable benefit. For example, the negative karma of all sentient beings who hear the sound of that bell is purified. They are liberated from the lower realms. Their negative karma is purified and they receive a good rebirth. In that way, there is unbelievable benefit. It makes it so easy for sentient beings to purify negative karma and reach enlightenment.

Also, if you circumambulate a stupa that has these mantras inside even one time, it purifies the negative karma that causes you to be reborn in all the eight hot hells. The negative karma that causes you to be born in all the eight hot hells – from the lightest down to the heaviest, most unbearable suffering hell realm – is completely purified by going around a stupa with these mantras inside just once.

The Very Essence of the Extensive Benefits of the Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras

The benefits of circumambulating and so forth are extensively explained, including the benefits from the tantric side, in the sutra called Arya Compassionate Eye Looking One and in the sutra called Compassionate White Lotus, and so forth.

Stainless Pinnacle Deity Mantra (Tsugtor Drime)
As explained by the Buddha in the Kangyur, there are skies of benefits for making even just one prostration, circumambulation, or offering to a holy object containing the mantra of the Stainless Pinnacle Deity (Tsugtor Drime):

It purifies completely the karmic obstacles of the five uninterrupted negative karmas (killing one’s father or mother, killing an arhat, causing blood to flow from a buddha, and causing a schism in the Sangha).

One will be completely liberated from the hell, hungry ghost, and animal realms and from the evil-gone realm of the yama world.

One will have a long life.

Like a snake changing its skin, when leaving the body, one will have the fortune to go to the blissful realm (i.e., a pure land).

One will never be stained by the smell of the womb.

All one’s wishes will be completely and exactly fulfilled.

If you put this mantra inside a stupa, you will never be reborn in the lower realms and will have a pure life until you achieve enlightenment. You will have good rebirths up until enlightenment is achieved.

This is most amazing. We have so many human problems that we can’t bear, so how could we bear the sufferings of the lower realms, such as being born as an insect, much less being born a hell being, animal, or preta? When human beings have problems, they can communicate. They can try many ways to resolve the problems. But animals and pretas cannot do this, and their suffering is so much greater. They have unbelievable problems, so there is no question about the hell beings whose suffering is unimaginably heavier.

So it is unbelievably precious that we can be freed forever from these sufferings, just by putting the Stainless Pinnacle Deity’s mantra inside stupas (100,000 copies of this mantra should be put into stupas). From now on, we will have pure lives and higher rebirths up until enlightenment is achieved.

So there are incredible benefits from building stupas and putting these Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras inside. It is so easy to purify all the heavy negative karmas from beginningless rebirth. Anyone who has the opportunity to put this mantra inside a stupa is therefore the most fortunate being in the world. They create the cause for long life, as well as to be reborn in a pure land. Of course, this brings a lot of merit, but that didn’t happen without cause and effect and conditions, meaning we created a lot of good karma in the past.

Secret Relic Mantra (Sangwa Rigsel)
Also, as explained by the Buddha in the Kangyur, if you have this mantra inside a holy object, then all the buddhas will abide in that holy object. Therefore, there are skies of benefits for making even just one prostration, circumambulation, or offering to a holy object containing the Secret Relic mantra (Sangwa Rigsel):

One purifies the negative karma of the ten non-virtuous actions and so forth, and will be completely liberated from the eight hot hells, including the unbearable hell (Avici). One also purifies the five uninterrupted negative karmas

One will never turn back from peerless enlightenment. (That is, one will never go down; one’s life will always be directed toward enlightenment. This is irreversible; one will never go in the opposite direction.)

One will always attain higher rebirth.

By printing the Secret Relic Mantra, if you are given the blessing to print it, just once, you collect the same amount of merit as making offerings to 100,000 x 10 million x 100 billion buddhas. This was told to Vajrapani.

Having made offerings to as many buddhas as there are in ninety-nine sesame seed pods – that is how much merit you create and you are always guided by that many buddhas.

This is just a drop from the unimaginable benefits of this mantra.

Zung of the Completely Pure Stainless Light (Özer Drime)
There are many Zung of the Exalted Completely Pure Stainless Light mantras, and they are all contained within the Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras. These mantras have unbelievable, mindblowing skies of benefit. As explained by the Buddha in the Kangyur, there are skies of benefit in making even just one prostration, circumambulation, or offering to a holy object containing the Zung of the Completely Pure Stainless Light (Özer Drime):

If one offers even a bell to a stupa containing this mantra, all the sentient beings in that area, animals or humans, by hearing the sound of that bell will be completely purified of the five uninterrupted negative karmas.

Normally, committing the five uninterrupted negative karmas causes one to be reborn in the lowest hot hell, which is extremely heavy suffering, but having this mantra inside a stupa purifies it all. This shows how unbelievably powerful this mantra is. Since even hearing the sound of a bell offered to such a stupa has incredible power to purify, there is no question that any insect or other being who sees or touches the stupa is purified of negative karma. Even just thinking about the stupa purifies the five uninterrupted negative karmas. That is amazing! It is so powerful! It is like a small flame that eventually grows into a fire that burns many thousands of miles of forest or entire cities.

Even water, rain or dust that just touches the stupa is so blessed that it purifies all the negative karmas of the insects on the ground who come into contact with it. And

the wind that touches such a stupa purifies the negative karmas of people or animals that it contacts and brings a good rebirth. Even if the shadow of the stupa touches people and insects, their heavy negative karma is purified.

From the Kangyur:

If this mantra is put inside a stupa then any being, including evil transmigratory beings, who sees the stupa, hears of the stupa, touches the stupa, or who is touched by dust or wind that comes from this stupa, will be free from all negative karmas. They will be born in the realms of happy transmigratory beings1 and they won’t be reborn in the lower realms.

Everything that touches the land the stupa is on becomes meaningful, including the rain that touches the stupa and then flows to the ground and touches worms. The worms’ negative karma is purified and they will receive a higher rebirth.

If there is a stupa containing this mantra in the center of a road or above a road and cars can pass under it or go around it, this is unbelievable purification. It doesn’t only purify the negative karma of this life, it purifies the negative karma of many past lives and plants the seed of enlightenment.

The Destroyer Qualified Gone Beyond [Shakyamuni Buddha] advised the Bodhisattva Great Sattva: Eliminating All Obscurations, Owner of the Secrecy, Vajra in the Hand [Vajrapani], the four guardians, the deva Unforgettable2 Owner [Brahma], and the devas of Tsangri, the Maha Deva, [the Hindu God Mahashora], and so forth: “You, the capable holy beings, I hand over this heart of the king of the secret mantra. Always keep it, put it in a jeweled samato [container]. Then proclaim it to all places. Continually reveal it to sentient beings. If you make sentient beings hear and see this mantra, their five uninterrupted negative karmas will be purified.”

100,000 Ornaments of Enlightenment (Jangchub Gyänbum)
Finally, as explained by the Buddha in the Kangyur, there are skies of benefits for making even just one prostration, circumambulation, or offering to a holy object containing the mantra of the 100,000 Ornaments of Enlightenment (Jangchub Gyänbum):

By putting even just one mantra of the Ornament of Enlightenment inside a stupa, it brings the same merit as having built 100,000 stupas – whether the stupa is gigantic like Bodhgaya or tiny like the size of a finger. Then, if you dedicate this merit for sentient beings, for their happiness up to full enlightenment, they receive unbelievable benefits and you receive unbelievable merit.

One collects the merit of having made offerings to all the buddhas, to all the Dharma, and to all the Sangha. Why? Because when you make offerings to a stupa

containing the 100,000 Ornaments of Enlightenment Mantra, you are not only making offering to a stupa. It becomes an offering to all the buddhas, the Three Rare Sublime Ones – all the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha that exist in the ten directions, in any universe.

After a person has died, chant that person’s name during the exact moment you put the mantra inside the stupa (before placing it inside the stupa, the mantra should be rolled correctly and covered in yellow cloth). Then you make offerings to the stupa – either actual offerings, or visualized, as in the seven limb prayer. If you visualize offerings, visualize all the flowers inside and outside, all the food offerings, all the water offerings, all the light offerings, everything! You can use all the offerings at my houses in California and Washington, as well as all the offerings at all the FPMT centers.

Buddha said to Ananda: “I explained this sutra for those beings who have very little merit and no devotion, for those who are overcome by doubt and cannot believe in the Dharma. For those sentient beings, I explained the 100,000 Ornaments of Enlightenment mantra.” That means Buddha explained this mantra for us.

Buddha also told Ananda: “In future times, if ordained ones don’t read this sutra that contains the benefits of this mantra and don’t make offering to this mantra, which makes it so unbelievably easy to purify the negative karma that causes one to be reborn in the lower realms and to accumulate the merit to achieve enlightenment and then offer extensive benefit to sentient beings, those ordained ones will suffer in the same way as householders. But if one listens to this teaching and then makes even one stupa with this mantra inside, one makes offering to all the 84,000 teachings of the Buddha.” This means that this mantra is an antidote to the 84,000 delusions, and one creates inconceivable heaps of merit. This is the same as reading the sutra called Tongpa Denpe Do (Sutra of the Ornamented Trunk)

When you put these four dharmakaya relic mantras inside a stupa, even mentioning the name of a person or animal that has died and praying for them brings them a good rebirth, such as birth in a pure land. That person will definitely be liberated from the lower realms. It is very powerful. You can also do the same for very sick people, making dedications for them to be healthy. As you put the mantras inside the stupa (or holy object), you should do the seven-limb practice and make the dedication for that person. This is a very powerful method for healing.

Holy objects such as these liberate sentient beings continuously twenty-four hours a day, every day. They purify the causes of the lower realms and bring sentient beings to the higher realms where they can meet the Dharma and then reach liberation and enlightenment.

Creating holy objects with these special mantras inside and making them available to others brings constant, unbelievable benefit to sentient beings. As soon as stupas and statues of the Buddha are made, they have the power to cause sentient beings to do actions such as circumambulating, prostrating, offering, and so forth, which then become virtuous actions creating the cause of enlightenment, even if those actions are done with the eight worldly dharmas3 and non-virtuous thoughts. These holy objects make it possible for sentient beings to create the cause to meet the Dharma and actualize the path. So even though we who are making these holy objects do not have realizations such as bodhichitta or emptiness, nor have we reached any of the bodhisattva bhumis, the holy objects we make still have the power to liberate sentient beings from the oceans of samsaric suffering, to actualize all the realizations of the path – Guru devotion, the three principles of the path, and the two stages – and then to achieve enlightenment.

These are illustrations of the activity of the Buddha’s unbelievable compassion toward us sentient beings and are but a few of the drops of Buddha’s unbelievable methods to liberate sentient beings quickly from the sufferings of samsara.

Zung is commonly understood to mean “mantra.” Rinpoche has further explained zung as “the unforgettable remembrance special wisdom, functioning to stop non-virtue and create virtue.”

Wishes Fulfilled with the ‘Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant’ and a Big Business Break with the ‘Wealth and Master Protection Pendant’ – Personal Testimonies of Readers

When I first started this blog I never thought I would be part, in a very small way, to a lot of wonderful ‘miraculous’ events in the lives of the people who would become my readers. Furthermore, I never thought the a simple Feng Shui charm that I designed incorporating the things that I’ve learned from my various Feng Shui teachers or masters, and from Buddhist monks and Taoist monks will create so much good things in the lives of a lot of people. What’s ironic is that these pendants were never designed for the public but rather for the use of my family, relatives, and to some extent some of our friends.

I’m talking about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT and the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT. The truth is these pendants were designed because of our (my family and I) frustrations about how we have to change Feng Shui cures or enhancers every years, and how do we have to wear a lot of things around our neck, wrist, fingers and have so much heavy objects around our pockets and bags. Furthermore, these Feng Shui cures and enhancers had to be replaced every year, especially, when they’ve become tarnished.

The first of these pendants is the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT; you can read more about it by clicking here. However, I no longer accept requests for the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, because it’s quite big and cost so much money. That’s the first story I would like to talk about.

At the back of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION are the Chinese character for 'THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN' and the images of the Three Celestial Guardians (provides protection against the 3 Killings), Five Element Pagoda (provides protection from the Five Yellow Star or Flying Star #5) and the Ksitigarbha Fireball (provides protection against the Argumentative Star).

Last, February 2013, a couple, a husband and wife businessmen contacted me. The first thing that I sense about them is that they’re a little ‘secretive’ about their true identity. While they have a house here in Manila, they’re mainly base in Cebu. After several conversations, I agreed to meet them. I suggested that we meet in a mall, but they requested that we meet in a hotel in Makati instead. I agreed.

When I saw them, I had the feeling that I’ve seen them before. The feeling is not that I vaguely know them but rather that I’ve seen them before. At the middle of our conversation, their son joined us, that’s when I realized that I’ve seen them on TV before. Their son is now trying to make a life for himself on a different industry while he still tries to help out in their family business.

They requested for the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, I told them that it is no longer available because of it is very expensive, but they insisted so I agreed to get them the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, one for each one of them. As it turned out, the husband is a devotee of THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN – SUN WUKONG, and is as long been looking for a gold or jade pendant that bares the image of the SUN WUKONG. For those who’ve read my post about THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN you’d know that SUN WUKONG is great for those who need money and who are in business.

They told me that they’re bidding for a construction project in China and needs all the help they can get because they’re not necessarily the biggest company in the country, and neither are they the biggest company participating in the bidding, but that they really want this project. They said that it will be a long and tedious process and expects the result to come out in November or December.

Just about a couple of weeks ago they called me up again to tell me that they won the project. I told them that isn’t it quite early and they said that it is part of the good news that the Chinese end made an early announcement. It’s part of the good news because the agony of waiting is sometimes a little too much for them.

And what’s even greater news is that they got 5 more WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, not for themselves but for them to be able to sell it at half the price of how much they got it. They said, they want more people to experience the blessing of WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, and that it is their way of sharing the blessing.

Incidentally, I would like to stress that I still am not making the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT available to those who are requesting it, because it is really pricey. Almost as expensive as some of Lillian Too’s pendants.

The second good news is about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT. I have posted several personal testimony about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT and the truth is there are so much more about that I haven’t written about and there are several more emails or stories told me by readers who has requested for it.

This time it’s a story of a DJ and part time actress, but because she is somebody who might become famous in the next few months or years I will not use her first name initial and last name initial. I’ll just stick to her first name initial. A has been a radio DJ for quite some time now, and she has appeared in a movie before. However, she felt that her career has been stagnant even before it has taken off, also she has been in a long time relationship and although she and her boyfriend is about to get married, she’s a little bothered that both her parents and that of her boyfriend’s parents doesn’t approve of their relationship.

I met A through a mutual friend who has gotten the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT himself. A is a very nice person and although she is part of a life that enjoys a lot of attention, I felt that she’s very humble and nice. I’m writing the story now because a month after getting the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, A got an offer for an endorsement of a food company, and after that she’s about to become the face of an advocacy campaign that’s just about to come out soon.

Furthermore, her mother has taken to liking his boyfriend already and her future mother – in – law has been reaching out to her by inviting her to dinners and lunches. She said it’s all because of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT.

Stories like these give so much joy that something that started as personal thing has become bigger and has benefitted a number of people. But then again the pendants are quite pricey and not everybody can afford it.
