It’s that time of the year again when people are bugging me about my annual forecast. The truth is, I thought by this time, I would have timed this to be about the end of my 1000th post. But that was not the case. And so today I announce that I might no longer finish the 1000 article and that this blog shall end really soon.

This is going to be my last annual forecast, and this annual Feng Shui forecast will be different from my usual annual forecasts. It’ll be less technical and more direct to the point. Truth be told, I almost didn’t write this anymore, but Guru Lama said that I should still write this last one, and a big part of this forecast was written in Singapore at Guru Lama’s temple.

This is going to be my shortest annual forecast since I started this blog, but this may be the most controversial as well and most stressful given that some groups of people wanted to read this forecast first before I post it. They said they don’t want it to be political and that they don’t want me to write about negative things that may cause fear. One of the reasons that they raised was when I wrote 2 years ago that the dollar – peso exchange rate will hit US$ 1.00 to Php 52.00, then after a while go up again and hit Php 54.00 where it will more or less stabilize for some time. I made this forecast December of 2015 for the 2016 annual forecast, then reiterated it again December 2016 for 2017 and 2018. It happened, and somehow these group of people blames me for its accuracy.

Furthermore, last year I also made a forecast that 2018 will become a problematic year for POTUS Trump, and that this year might spell the beginning of his end. It is happening and I also made some forecast alluding to what might happen here in the Philippines. This again this doesn’t sit well with some people and now they want to “interfere” with my annual forecast. There was some diplomatic back and forth with a reader coming out of her comfort zone to come to my defense. However, an ideal agreement was not settled, primarily because these people want me to write what they want me to write (it was said in so many words) and Guru Lama said that I should just write what I saw base on my calculations. Of course, I still made sure that reviewed this with him and my Feng Shui teacher in Hong Kong.

And so here is my ANNUAL FENG SHUI FORECAST FOR 2019 YEAR OF THE EARTH PIG! This is still base on the Flying Stars, 24 Mountain Stars Formula, and the Annual Bazi Chart (Paht Chee Chart).

2019 lunar year will definitely be a better year compared to 2018 lunar year. Chinese New Year or 2019 Year of the Earth Pig officially starts on Feb. 5, 2019. And as I said, this will definitely be a better year compared to 2018. Harmony is in the air, so if 2018 was really chaotic, 2019 should be a bit more peaceful. What’s more wealth luck is also good, which is really the opposite of 2018.

The younger generation will become more prominent this year. They might also be able to tap to that wealth luck easier than the older generation.

Another really good thing about the year is that we have all the elements – water, fire, wood, metal, earth on the years Paht Chee Chart / Bazi Chart, making this a balance year. Starting new business ventures last year was really a bad idea, but this year it’ll be good to start new ventures. This is a year wherein having self-confidence is good because it will help propel you to success and attaining that wealth luck.

If 2018 sorely lacks wealth energies, this year money luck, financial luck and wealth luck is brought in by the energies of the Earth Pig or Earth Boar! This both refers to being able to tap in to old wealth or new wealth luck! This will peak towards the end of the year. However, it should be noted that while there is wealth luck, in grander scale of things the people will only feel this if their government is able to handle wealth properly also, because there is also a negative star this year that is loosely translated as the Squander Star, this means all of us have to be careful about squandering money and the government might also “squander” money due to corruption. Please note that I don’t refer to any particular country or government here, but obviously whether a country is affected or not depends on the kind of leadership the country has, but more importantly, depends on what kind of politicians it’s citizens allows the country to have.

This year the element of wealth is ruled by the fire element. So, it will be good to make your offices, especially your cashier or accounting office really bright, especially if they’re in the South but not if they’re in the North. If possible, if the seat of your money (cashier, finance or accounting department) is in the North move it somewhere else. Move it to the center of the building or to the South.

Everybody will also benefit by wearing more red, it’ll be good to check your Bazi Chart, if you have a high fire rating then you can do away with red, but if not red is definitely the color of the year to enhance wealth luck. Wear more red, or pink, or orange. Wear red jewelries like ruby or other red stones.

Another thing that is prominent this year is the significance of having power and recognition. This year, he who has power and enjoys recognition will also gain more control on the year’s wealth luck. Having said that, it should be noted that all of us should strive to have power and recognition because this will give us a competitive advantage, not only to have wealth luck, but also to be able to do what we need to do, because this year timidity is not the way to go. Misplaced humility will destroy a person. It should be noted power and recognition, for this year, is controlled by the element earth and that the earth element will also have control over the fire element which for 2018 year of Earth Pig controls wealth luck. Thus, by wearing more gems, especially jade will help energize the fire element also and bring in more wealth luck as well. Jade is also usually green and is high in the wood element, which produces more fire so jade is definitely a stone of the year together with ruby or garnet.

The year’s Bazi Chart has an abundance of the water element. This means that change is in the air, but change can mean good or bad. In the US, because the people have recognized their mistakes it seems like change, although it may be politically tumultuous which may even result to the resignation or force eviction of the POTUS, change seems to be for good. In other countries, that will largely depend on the opposition, on how they harness power, and the general public should start recognizing and accepting their mistakes. Humility should be present. Otherwise, change will be for the worse, and wealth luck will be present but will definitely not be evenly distributed. But change is definitely happening, and remember the energies brought about the water element is neutral it is up to us to make it positive (change for good) or negative (change for the worse)!

Furthermore, the water element of 2019 lunar year of the Earth Pig stands for alliances. Some will say that it is about friendship, but I will not use the word friendship because it carries a lot of positive feel. Because again the energy is neutral, it can be good or bad. But if you want to have a change in the government, learn to have positive alliances that will help bring about positive change. In the US, this alliance was manifested by their media, they support each other, well, with the exception of one network owned by the POTUS.

Note, that all of us, or each of the animal sign, namely – RAT, OX, TIGER, RABBIT, DRAGON, SNAKE, HORSE, SHEEP, MONKEY, ROOSTER, DOG, PIG (BOAR) – has to strengthen our Lung Ta. The Ox, Rooster, and the Snake already has an advantage but still it’ll be good to ensure that one wears an amulet to strengthen the Lung Ta. To do this, one can wear THE BODHISATTVA WISHFULFILLING AND MASTER PROTECTION AMULET PENDANT or carry the VAJRAPANI RUEL.

A lot of people from the Philippines are asking me about the dollar – peso exchange rate. Will it continue to go up or down? Base on the chart, it will temporarily stabilize on Php 53.00, but next year, it will go down further before it goes up. 2019 is a critical year for the Philippines. What happens next year will definitely have a long-term effect to the country. I cannot and was restricted in going direct to the point, but this I can say, if we do right next year then we can see a better Philippines. If we do wrong, it’s effects might be felt for a very long time, for generations even.

I hope I’m wrong, and although I humbly accept the fact that I have a very high batting average when it comes to my annual forecast, I hope only the good happens. Every year from the first time I have written my annual forecast, my forecasts has always come to fruition. I am the only Feng Shui writer who has specifically pointed out the calamity of Typhoon Haiyan / Typhoon Yolanda happening in the Visayas before it happened. But I recognize that the forecast although base on scientific calculations of the stars, can change with powerful prayers, acceptance of the things that we have to do, and humility.

In my next post, I will write about the annual forecast for each Chinese Animal Zodiac Sign. However, I will make it more concise and straight to the point compared to my past posts. Like this one I will no longer discuss how I came to that forecast but rather I will go straight to the point, and instead as a farewell, will write another article as to what one needs as a perpetual amulet base on your Chinese Animal Zodiac Sign.

It’s that time of the year again when people are bugging me about my annual forecast. The truth is, I thought by this time, I would have timed this to be about the end of my 1000th post. The Victory Banner is considered as one of the 8 Auspicious Object in Buddhism.

The Victory Banner is considered as one of the 8 Auspicious Object in Buddhism.

I have previously written about the Mystic Knot, and the Victory Banner. If you wish to know more about it, please just click on the following link:

The last object on the 8 Auspicious Objects of Buddhism is the Dharmachakra Wheel.

The truth is Dharmachakra means Wheel, so to call it Dharmachakra Wheel is a bit redundant, however, Dharmachakra Wheel is a term where most people outside Tibet are familiar with, so it is the term that I’ll be using here.dharmachakra wheel

The Dharmachakra Wheel is a symbol of Buddha’s teaching, however, the different parts each have their own iconography. The rim represents the factor of limitation, the hub represents the Earth’s axis, and the eight spokes shows the Eightfold Path dictated by Buddha.

In Feng Shui, the Dharmachakra Wheel is a powerful symbol to use for surmounting all shortcomings. Furthermore, the Dharmachakra Wheel is a powerful protection symbol that we can use to protect all the non-material things that are important to us.

The Eight Auspicious Objects of Buddhism: The Conch Shell

Published Abril 9, 2013 by jptan2012

conch-shellIn ancient times the Conch Shell is used as a trumpet horn, and was considered as a symbol of strength and sovereignty. It is also said that ‘heroic figures’ are also given the conch shell as a symbol of gratitude from the ruler. Religiously, specially in Tibetan Buddhism, the conch shell is a ‘vessel’ for holy water and holy oil, and is also used as a trumpet to signify the start of an important religious event.

In Feng Shui, the conch shell is a powerful tool for those who wants to be able to prosper in their business ventures. It is also extremely beneficial for politicians to carry a conch shell because it will help them be stable in their position.

Carrying a conch shell is also a powerful tool to help a person attain a higher level of meditation.

The Eight Auspicious Objects of Buddhism: The Lotus

A pink lotus flower and lily pads with saturated colorThere are a lot of Buddhist and Taoist icons that are depicted either sitting on a lotus or are holding a lotus. This is because the growth pattern of  a lotus represents the development that a being can make. The lotus has the ability to blossom out of dirty or muddy water – which represents materialism, the it grows past the water – which indicates experience, and make its way towards the sun – which represents enlightenment. It is a symbol of both mental and spiritual purity. The lotus which is a water flower is a symbol of blossoming decent deeds, that results in purification of the both mind and body.

In Feng Shui, the lotus also has the power to transform bad luck into good luck, and it is also said that the lotus has the power to drive out negative energies.

Wearing an image of the lotus made of a white stone or jade will help bring lots of blessings. It will also help in the attainment of the enlightenment.

The Eight Auspicious Objects of Buddhism: The Wealth Vase or Treasure Vase

wealthvase1In one of my earlier post entitled FENG SHUI TIPS TO ENHANCE WEALTH LUCK,  I talked about the treasure vase, now allow me to briefly talked about it again. The treasure vase, even without the ritual and powerful ingredients that goes with it is a very powerful wealth – granting symbol or object. It is a powerful object that brings tons of material and financial prosperity.

In China, a lot of the rich people their has wealth vase hidden in their cupboard or cabinets. Some of the noveau rich in China also has wealth vase in their living rooms. I personally believe that wealth vases should be hidden and not displayed.

golden fishA pair of fish represents harmony, good family life, happiness, fertility and recovery. Given that the pair of fish are golden, it also represents abundance. In China, the fish also symbolizes unity and loyalty, and it is for this reason that the golden fish are often offered as wedding gifts to symbolize an abundant long peaceful life of the couple.

Thus a pair of golden fish is good for people who are facing financial troubles with their partners.

The Eight Auspicious Objects of Buddhism: An Introduction and The Parasol

Published Abril 4, 2013 by jptan2012

I know I have written about some of the 8 Auspicious Objects of Buddhism in passing before, but I really haven’t written about all of them. So please allow me to introduce you to The Eight Auspicious Objects of Buddhism and it’s Feng Shui use.8 Auspicious

Before anything else, allow me to share that the 8 Auspicious Objects are a series of different symbols that individually and collectively represents different forms of luck. The Eight Auspicious Objects, which is also called as the Eight Auspicious Symbols, appeared on many different types of Buddhist artifacts like paintings, carvings, etc. Each symbol on its own represents a feature of Buddhist teaching, and corresponds to a certain blessing. When shown together, they become some form a wish-fulfilling symbol of the different aspirations and also becomes a protective symbol.

The Eight Auspicious Objects are the parasol, the wealth vase, lotus, the conch shell, the mystical mystic knot (also known as the endless knot), a pair of golden fish, the victory banner, and the dharmachakra wheel.

The first of these 8 Auspicious Symbols is the Parasol.

As most people know, the parasol which is an umbrella used for protection from the heat and rays of the sun. The parasol is an ancient symbol of protection used by the royalty, thus it represents protection, which is bestowed upon the beholder of this auspicious object.

The Parasol is said to prevent sadness, anguish, and obstacles. Its secondary effect is to protect us from devious spiritual forces. Thus this is the object carried by one of the most powerful protection goddess of Buddhism – the WHITE UMBRELLA GODDESS.

The White Umbrella Goddess which is a powerful protection goddess holds the Parasol.

As it is use by royalty, it can also represent a good life blessed with wealth especially those who are venturing into new things.
