Citrus and Salt Solution for Cleansing of Negative Energies!

Published Hulyo 6, 2017 by jptan2012

The preceding post is about how to take away minor negative energies by simply putting some citrus fruit in one’s room for three days.

Today, allow me to share with you a simple and natural way to help take away negative energy. This is especially good if you’re going to a wake or to the hospital and you don’t have a Vajrapani Ruel and/or a Kalachakra pendant.

It’s pretty simple.

All you need is a small spray bottle. Fill it up, but not up to the rim, with water. Then place three drops of a citrus fruit juice. You can use either lemon, Philippine calamansi, lime, pomelo or even orange. But I prefer pomelo or even calamansi. Then get a pinch of rock salt or sea salt or Pink Himalayan Salt and put it inside the bottle with water. Shake it well until the salts are dissolved.

If you go to a wake or hospital or to the cemetery spray a little above your head when you leave. That should cleanse you from any negative energy that might have attached to yourself from the yin place that you just visited.

What’s nice with this is that you can share this solution with other people.

The citrus fruit juice will spoil, so what I do instead is add a little vodka to help preserved the juice. About 7 drops of vodka will do.

Guide Lines In Going To The Cemetery!

Published Oktubre 25, 2016 by jptan2012

cemeteryThe month of November is a double black month in the sense that the #2 Flying Star, which is also known as the Illness Star, a star that causes not only illness but grave accidents is doubled this month in the center. Furthermore, the most dreaded star, the #5 Flying Star or Wu Wang also called as Five Yellow Star is doubled in the Northeast. This affects all the people whose rooms (office / bedroom) are in the northeast, or whose house door or office door faces northeast, but most especially, people born under the year of the Ox and Tiger.

We all know that this means the month of November is going to be bad for those who are affected, as mentioned above, but also we have to be careful about being sick and accidents. This will not happen until November 7, 2016, but since we are going through Halloween, it is best to take precautions.

The cemetery or a columbarium is negative place, it is a place where yin energy rules. So going to the cemetery might not be advisable especially since we are going through a yin month. This is especially true for those born in the year of the Ox and Tiger.

But All Saints Day / All Souls Day is a big deal for a lot of Filipinos. We really have to go to the cemetery to pay our respect to our departed loved ones. So what do we do then?

First, make sure you go there in the morning, and don’t stay until in the evening. Because evening is considered as yin. Then make sure you go there at a time where a lot of people are in the cemetery, because having a lot of people creates a lot of yang energy, so it is better to be around the yang energy while you are at the cemetery. I know some people would like to go there before All Saints Day / All Souls Day so that it will not be too crowded. But it is better to go there while a lot of people are at the cemetery because, as mentioned, you will need the yang energy.

Make sure also you wear your powerful amulets. If you don’t have the Vajrapani Ruel or the Kalachakra pendant or Surangama Mantra Amulet, wear something you really believed in and are powerful and that you are sure will protect you.

It is also advisable to wear something bright and happy. Don’t wear black or blue.

On your way to the cemetery alternately chant the mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani – OM VAJRAPANI HUM – and OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT.  Stop only upon entering the site where your loved one is buried. Then first thing you should do is light a candle. Light a red candle if he/she has passed away more than 3 years. Then use yellow if under 3 years.

Also if possible, bring a Mantra Box (a device that plays mantras – see photo) and play it there while you are there. It’s best to play the mantra of Amitabha Buddha – NAMO AMITUOFO – or – OM AMI DEWA HRIH.

mantra box

When leaving for a long period of time get a small mantra box like the one in the picture. Don’t get anythings that’s really fancy such as those with lights, they consume battery energy faster. These are more energy efficient and 2 AA Batteries will last for a longer period of time.

On your way out start chanting the two mantras again and then if possible swing by a temple and light an incense. If you can swing by a temple go and eat at a restaurant before going home.

When you get home, make sure you take off all your clothing and have them wash with a teaspoon of salt. You should also take a salt bath or shower. Remember that it has to be sea salt, rock salt, or pink Himalayan salt.

Cleanse Yourself From the Effects of the Harvest Moon (Post Mid – Autumn Festival) Eclipse Last Week!

Published Setyembre 19, 2016 by jptan2012

All eclipses are bad because it signifies the imbalance of Yin and Yang. All brightness whether it is from the sun or from the moon, which signifies Yang energy, is blocked out therefore bringing darkness, which signifies Yin Energy. So needless to say, all eclipses are bad.

Last week, while stuck in traffic, I wrote about the lunar eclipse happening on a Harvest Moon (Mid – Autumn Festival / Mooncake Festival). Because it was written in haste, I was not able to explain further the significance of Harvest Moon.

You can read my post about the eclipse entitled – TODAY’S LUNAR ECLIPSE AFFECTING THE HARVEST MOON SIGNIFIES DOUBLE BAD LUCK – by clicking here.

For the Chinese right after Mid – Autumn Festival is called Harvest Moon because the harvest season continues. This is one of the most celebrated events because it signifies ushering in of renewed good chi; especially we are coming from the previous month of negative chi because of the Hungry Ghost Month!

Because I was late in posting it, a lot of you might have read the post after you have been already exposed from the negative chi of the lunar eclipse, and naturally a lot of you emailed me and several of you who knows my mobile number sent a message and called frantic about being exposed to the effect of the lunar eclipse. And so I decided to write about how to cleanse yourself from the effects of the Harvest Moon Eclipse last week and move the original post for some other day.

If you have been exposed or if you are outdoor while the eclipse happened but wears the Vajrapani Ruel, Surangama Mantra Amulet, or a Kalachakra during or immediately after the exposure, then you need not worry, you should be fine. If until now you haven’t worn those amulets or you don’t have them I suggest you wear or carry the symbolic script of the immediate negative karma cleansing mantra OM AH HUM. (Please see photo)om-ah-hum

Also for the next 7 days put 2 tablespoon of rock salt or sea salt, or pink Himalayan salt on your tub and soak yourself in it for about 5 minutes, all the while chanting OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. If you don’t have a bathtub, you can put it in a pail of water or in a basin then use that as your first wash. Chant OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT while dousing yourself with the water. If you use a shower, you can get two handful of salt and slowly rub it on your body before your final wash. While rubbing chant OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT and then let the salt stay your body for two minutes and chant the same mantra.

Salt Is A Key Ingredient in Making the Catholic Church’s Holy Water!

Rock Salt

Regular readers of this blog will know how much I believe in the power of salt, especially rock salt, sea salt, pink Himalayan salt, and if possible the rarer Hawaiian Lava Sea Salt. You use salt to help cleanse an area of a negative energy. You use salt to clean things, especially crystals or gemstones, of negative energies. You use salt to drive away evil spirits, and a whole lot more.

In fact, I write about salt so much that I received an email from a person who introduced herself as a devout Catholic. She said all the things I write about salt are pure evil and encouraged people to be more reliant on salt that on the higher being. In her case, she was referring to the Lord Jesus Christ.

If I made people rely on salt more than on the Higher Beings, whether it is Jesus Christ or Buddha, Bodhisattvas, or Deities, or Allah, then I would like to apologize, that is not my intention. I simply want to share with people and help people have a better life by introducing them to the power of using salt. Salt really has some Feng Shui use or to be more general and encompassing, it does have cleansing capabilities that goes beyond the physical. I don’t want to argue about religion, but the truth is even the Catholic Church, they make use of salt whenever they make their holy water. Salt is one of the key ingredients in making a holy water, and one of the two physical ‘material’ the other being natural water. The other ingredients are Bible verses and several special prayers.

In fact, salt is used in different religions as a ‘psychic’ or ‘auric’ cleansing agent.

I don’t want you to rely on salt more than you can rely on the higher beings. But there is nothing wrong in using salt, besides I assume even the Pope will need it to make Holy Water.

Always Bring A Small Amount of Salt For Protection From Bad Luck!

Published Hunyo 22, 2016 by jptan2012

I always bring a small amount of salt with me. Why?

Regular readers of this blog would know that I’m a firm believer of the cleansing power of sea salt or rock salt and most especially Pink Himalayan Salt.

After more than 650 articles posted on this blog, I’m not sure whether I have written any article solely to talk about the wonderful Feng Shui and esoteric benefits of a sea salt, rock salt, and my favorite Pink Himalayan salt. But I’m sure that I have mentioned it several times on various articles.

himalayan_pink_salt

My favorite for Feng Shui purposes is the Pink Himalayan Salt

And so why do I always bring a small amount of salt? That is because it is a powerful, very affordable, natural and efficient way of protecting oneself, especially if one is experiencing a lot of negativities  or bad luck with his/her day or days. If there are a lot of negativities happening, you can simply sprinkle a small amount of salt around your area and it will sure help cleanse the surroundings and make the day better.

Back when I was still an employee, and one of my bosses was really ‘monstrous’ and is always throwing negativities on her employees. I would always sprinkle a small amount of salt after I had some discussions with her.

If someone throws you an evil eye, then sprinkle that salt and depending on the strength of the negative energy thrown you that energy may be deflected or tempered.

But perhaps one of the most wonderful protections that I experienced from about a teaspoon of rock salt that I experienced was when the company I used to work for had a biking event. This was several years back, more than 15 years ago. Some bikers will bike from Makati to Pampanga. This is basically a short distance from bikers. I tried to warn the organizers that the day they choose for the biking event is bad, but they don’t believe in Feng Shui. So they went ahead with the event. As usual, I have a small amount of salt with me. About a teaspoon. Let me clarify that I was with them to support the event. What happened was it seems like at every kilometer, somebody is into some kind of an accident. Until finally, one of the celebrity bikers who was with us had an accident just before we enter Bulacan. That’s when the head of the organizing team called me and asked whether I can do something. Well, I was not sure whether it would work, but I sprinkled the small amount of salt with me at the head of the “line”. It worked; we no longer had any accident.

So how do we bring the salt with us? Just put in a small plastic, or in a small plastic container and put it in your pocket or wallet. I make sure I change mine every 2 weeks.

5 Ways to Protect Yourself From Evil Eye and/or Witchcraft!

Published Hunyo 16, 2016 by jptan2012

“How do I protect myself from witchcraft or evil eye?”

I have been asked this question a lot. That if I were to charge ten Philippine peso per person every time I’m asked this question, I would have earned several thousands of peso by now.

In order to save time from answering this question, I thought I’d just write about it.

But before we talk about that, it begets the question as to evil eye or witchcraft is real?

If we were to base our answer on Buddhist Sutras and Taoist texts, the answer is definitely yes. In fact, one of the Shakyamuni Buddha’s disciple, Ananda, was bewitched by a witch so that he will break his vow of celibacy and sleep with her daughter who happens to be a hospitality girl. This is where the Surangama Mantra started, and it was followed by the Surangama Sutra.

Evil Eye is basically “usog” in Filipino. This happens when a person who has a strong neutral or bad chi looks at you and intentionally or unintentionally wish you bad thing, and that bad thing happens to you. Or when a person gives you that look and you start to get sick. This is quite common than we realize.

Witchcraft on the other hand is not very common. I believe that it still exist, however, it is not as common as most people think it is. Doing witchcraft is much more complicated and requires a lot of chi. however, contrary to popular belief, despite the negative connotation of the word; witchcraft does not necessary mean evil. There are positive witchcraft, it really depends on what energy you use. But for the purpose of this article, witchcraft here refers to something evil or bad.

Here are top 5 ways to protect yourself from evil eye or witchcraft:

STAY POSITIVE AND STAY GOOD. If we stay positive and if we stay good we only attract positive chi. this should help protect us from all those evil eyes or negative power of witchcraft.

WEAR AN AMETHYST OR CLEAR QUARTZ. Wearing these two crystals will provide us with a positive auric shield. However, this is only effective for evil eyes and light form of witchcraft. If you are attacked with something stronger then this definitely will not work.

TAKE A SALT BATH. If you suspect that you got the evil eye or witchcraft is being done to you. Take a salt bath, make sure you use rock salt, sea salt, pink Himalayan salt, or the rare black salt. Put approximately 1 tablespoon of the salt on a small pail of water and use this at the start before you shampoo or soap yourself. For a bathtub, use about a cup and soak in it for a minimum of 5 minutes. Do this for one to three days for evil eye. If you suspect witchcraft, do this for 7 to 21 days.

WEAR A POWERFUL AMULET. One of the best ways to protect you from evil eye and witchcraft is to wear some powerful amulet. My favorite is definitely the one that is regarded as the world’s most powerful amulet in the Buddhist pantheon called Vajrapani Ruel, but of course the Surangama Mantra Amulet blessed by a high ranking monk should work very well as well, the Illness Suppression Amulet is also a very good protective amulet for evil and witchcraft. The Jatukam Ramathep Amulet is also a very powerful amulet for this purpose.

CHANT PROTECTIVE MANTRAS IN A DEEP MEDITATIVE STATE. Chanting protective mantras in a deep meditative state, in a state that you are almost not aware of your surroundings is a very good protection against evil eye or witchcraft. The following mantras should prove helpful if chanted one after the other: (1.) OM AMI DEWA HRIH       (2.) NAMO SAPTANAM SAMYAKSAM BUDDHA KOTINAM TADYATHA OM CHALE CHULE CHUNDI SOHA       (3.) TADYATHA OM ANALE ANALE KHASAME KHASAME BHAYRE BHAYRE SAUMA SAUME SARVA BUDDHA ADISHTANA ADISHTITE SOHA OM SARVA TATHAGATHA USHNISHA SITATAPUTRA HUM PHAT HUM MAMA HUM NI SOHA.

Chant it 108x each mantra.

What to Do If You Absolutely Have to Had A Medical Procedure this Hungry Ghost Month?

Published Agosto 19, 2015 by jptan2012

medical procedureSometimes medical procedure is an avoidable happening. There are times that one can’t avoid a medical procedure because delaying it might cause more physical harm. So what does one have to do if there is an avoidable medical procedure that one has to go through this Hungry Ghost Month?

If it’s a minor medical procedure, you can light incense on your altar or go to a temple to do this and say a short prayer for all the Hungry Ghosts followed by a short prayer of protection. Make sure you have a Chung Kwei, a Vajrapani Ruel or a Surangama Mantra Amulet. Then while they’re doing the procedure, quietly chant either the Kalachakra Manta (OM AH HUM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT) or the mantra of Vajrapani Bodhisattva (OM VAJRAPANI HUM). Just continue to chant it until the procedure is over.

This is a rare black jade pendant image of Chung Kwei. Was fortunate enough to find one in Beijing, China in a small shop. Remember in choosing a Chong Kwei or Chung Kwei or Zhung Kwei or Zhong Kwei, always get a something that's made of a black stone or gold. Otherwise, it might not be very effective.

For major medical procedure, I suggest go to a Buddhist temple and request them to do an Ullambana Ceremony (will discuss about this more on my succeeding posts), or request a Feng Shui practitioner who is familiar with the Ullambana Sutra to do it for you. Both will require some ‘fees’ because there are items that need to be bought for the said ceremony. The one done in a Buddhist temple is preferred but one that is done by a Buddhist Feng Shui practitioner will be effective as well, as long as he or she is familiar with the Ullambana Sutra and ceremony. Dedicate the ceremony to the ‘spiritual land lords’ of the hospital where the medical procedure is going to take place. On the day of the medical procedure, light some incense, and when you reach the hospital, discreetly scatter some rock salt or sea salt or pink Himalayan salt. Doctors or hospitals will not allow you to have any amulet on your body, so I suggest that you talk to your doctor beforehand and request that a Vajrapani Ruel or a Surangama Mantra Amulet be put at the door of the operating room, as the case may be. If you talk to them and tell them it is because of your religious belief that you are doing this, they will agree to do it. If not, ask a relative or a friend to carry it for you, and he should be as near as possible where the actual procedure is happening.Surangama Mantra

The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It's important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless.

Note that for this, I prefer that you use the Vajrapani Ruel or the Surangama Mantra Amulet, because both amulets provide a larger protective aura.

But again postpone any medical procedure this Hungry Ghost Month if you can.
