Top 10 Things to do if Your House is Haunted!

Published Agosto 8, 2018 by jptan2012

I strongly believe that there are houses that are haunted. I personally have encountered several such house. And as I said in a previous article, it is not really the haunting like seeing ghosts, light turning on and off by themselves, or moving objects and curious sounds that’s the scariest. It is how these negative chi affects us that’s scarier.

Aside from the physical hauntings, it is how they affect our thinking, mood, personality, and luck that is scarier that the actual haunting. Or in some rare cases, how they try to possess some people.

So, what are the things you need to do if you believe your house or office is haunted.

  1. First, do not try to banish them on your own. If not done properly they will become stronger or will get angry. You might also start to attract more negative chi.
  2. Light some incense as a peace offering so that you can live in harmony. But do not be submissive to them.
  3. Ignore them, attention gives them energy. Fear gives them energy.
  4. Put an image of a Chung Kwei (made of black tourmaline/black jade/onyx/gold) in your house.

    Chung Kwei Black Jade

This is a rare black jade pendant image of Chung Kwei. Was fortunate enough to find one in Beijing, China in a small shop. Remember in choosing a Chong Kwei or Chung Kwei or Zhung Kwei or Zhong Kwei, always get a something that’s made of a black stone or gold. Otherwise, it might not be very effective.

  5. Put a Vajrapani Ruel or Surangama Mantra Amulet or both inside your house.
  6. If there’s a baby or an elderly make sure they carry with them one or two (depending on the strength of the spirit) of the following with them all the time: gold Kalachakra pendant, Vajrapani Ruel, Surangama Mantra Amulet, Special Gold Piyao.
  7. If you suspect somebody is being possessed or is being psychologically or emotionally manipulated or influenced by the spirits let them wear 2 or 3 of the following: VAJRAPANI RUEL, SURANGAMA MANTRA AMULET, SPECIAL GOLD PIYAO, GOLD KALACHAKRA PENDANT, GOLD OR HOLY JADE PENDANT IMAGE OF BODHISATTVA SANGHARAMA (also known as Qie Lan Pu Sa, Kuan Kong, Guan Gong, Guan Yu, Kuan Yu, Guan Te Yah, Kuan Te Yah), GOLD or BLACK TOURMALINE or BLACK JADE or ONYX or BLACK OBSIDIAN PENDANT IMAGE OF CHUNG KWEI. Please note that some stores will say that an image of a Chung Kwei is real obsidian or onyx or tourmaline, but real ones will definitely not cost you below US$150.00.

    Kuan Kong Pendant2

Kuan Kong also spelled as Guan Gong is a warrior god. He is a very good protector and wealth god.

  8. Always make sure that you put on bright lights.
  9. Play happy music, make sure there is always yang energy but do not be noisy.
  10. Try to have somebody perform a puja for the spirits.

If Nothing Seems to Go Right and Everything Seems to Go Wrong in Your Life You Might Have An Afflicted Bazi! – How Chanting of Mantras and Offering of Flowers Can Help!

Published Marso 25, 2017 by jptan2012

I once had a person come to me to tell me that everything seems to go wrong with his life and nothing seems to go right. In fact, he said, everything is so wrong in his life that he really wants to commit suicide already. He is seriously contemplating taking his own life.

My first recommendation for him is to immediately get professional counseling. I’m certainly not equipped to handle this kind of case, at least, not in the perspective of professional help. I’m glad that he took my advice and has started to get better. He has become a little bit more equipped in handling his problems.

Nevertheless, he still contacted me to ask for help because while counseling has helped him get better with how he copes with his problems, the problems are still there. You see he really has a lot of problem. He lost his only child then his wife left him for another man, and she took all their savings. Furthermore, his mother got sick and paralyzed, while his father continue to launder their money for his mistress.

He certainly has a lot of problems and upon checking his Bazi Chart / Paht Chee Chart it shows that his Bazi is terribly afflicted. There were a lot of conflicting elements and signs!

It’s quite difficult to cure this kind of problem. The Vajrapani Ruel(1) may help things get better a little but it certainly will not or it will take a lot of year for it to cure the afflicted Bazi. One way to cure this is to use the Ing Deng Pay(1), which I have written before. However, the Ing Deng Pay(2) or Landlord’s Tablet is quite pricey. And this particular person is unable to afford it. And so he decided to simply get the Vajrapani Ruel(2) and resorted to chanting mantras. Told him to chant the following mantras:

MANTRA OF BODHISATTVA KUAN YIN: OM MANI PADME HUM

MANTRA OF MEDICINE BUDDHA: TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKNADZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA

MANTRA OF BODHISATTVA VAJRAPANI: OM VAJRAPANI HUM

Also told him to offer flowers and half – sack to one sack of rice everyday to the image of Bodhisattva Guan Yin (also spelled or called as Kuan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Avalokitesvara, Kannon).

He followed my advice and was told that things are a little better than before.

I believe that if one has at least one powerful amulet and is sincere and is able to chant mantras at the deep meditative level, no matter how bad is your bazi is, things will get better.

Myth Buster 43: Incense Smoke Brings Our Prayers to Heaven

Published Nobyembre 17, 2016 by jptan2012

When I was in still elementary and going to a Christian school, my Christian teacher told us that when Buddhist (collectively referring to Taoist and Buddhist) pray they light an incense because the incense smoke brings the prayer the wishes to heaven. Of course, given that she is our teacher, a lot of us believe this. and later on I found out that this is a very common beliefs amongst non – Taoist or non – Buddhist, but more than that this is also a common belief amongst Taoist and Buddhist as well.

There is no truth to that belief. When we chant – a – mantra, or recite – a – sutra, or even pray, we don’t need to light incense for the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas to hear our prayer. In fact, the sutra says even before we say our heart’s wishes or desires, the Buddhas and the Bodhisattvas already know them. We only light incense as an offering to the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or Taoist Gods.

A Special Ritual to Truly Benefit from the ’15 Merit Days’ – Give Honor and Make Offerings to the Powerful Bodhisattva Vajrapani (February 15, 2016)!

Published Pebrero 15, 2016 by jptan2012

Regular readers of this blog know how much of a believer I am of Bodhisattva Vajrapani and of course the Vajrapani Ruel. In fact, when I first wrote about the Vajrapani Ruel, other than the hardcore Buddhist sites, not much has been written about Bodhisattva Vajrapani. Now, after a year, things has changed, a lot of Feng Shui experts now talks or even mention Vajrapani Bodhisattva on their online sites and several even went as far as recommending that people chant Bodhisattva Vajrapani’s mantra – OM VAJRAPANI HUM.

vajrapani

Vajrapani is one of the lesser known but equally powerful and compassionate Bodhisattva!

Furthermore, a lot of my readers who has requested for the Vajrapani Ruel have shared their miraculous stories. These stories ranges from financial blessings to healing to protection. There are a lot more that I haven’t written about but in my upcoming books, one has a working title of – MIRACLE IN A POUCH: THE VAJRAPANI RUEL MIRACULOUS STORIES. This book will talk about the Vajrapani Ruel Stories from this blog, but will include 5 other stories that have never been written before. What is so nice about this is that some of the people who experienced these miracles will no longer be anonymous but they will be named and for some photos are included.

Anyway, I’m getting side tracked here. All I wanted to say is getting the merit of Bodhisattva Vajrapani will surely give you a lot of blessings.

In my post – THE WORLD’S MOST POWERFUL AMULET IN THE BUDDHIST PANTHEON CALLED VAJRAPANI RUEL – I talked about how Bodhisattva Vajrapani came out to protect Siddhartha Gautama from some demons because they are tempting and distracting him from his Samadhi so that he won’t achieve his enlightenment. It was Vajrapani Bodhisattva who came out to protect him and drive away the demons. As a result, the demons flee and their 90,000 spirit sentient flowers took refuge under Shakyamuni Buddha. This will show how powerful Vajrapani Bodhisattva. Not to mention that what is not highlighted is amongst all the Bodhisattva, he was the one chosen by Amitabha Buddha to protect the then future Shakyamuni Buddha. As a result of Bodhisattva Vajrapani’s act, Siddhartha got enlightened and became a Buddha.

Vajrapani Ruel

The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It’s important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless. The Vajrapani Ruel itself is only about 1 to 2 inches and it varies from one ruel to another.

Today is the day we celebrate that day and if one chant the mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani today one will surely earn a lot of merits. All you have to do is chant OM VAJRAPANI HUM a minimum of 108 times, better if more. I intend to do 100 full malas for this day.

Furthermore, you can also offer some flowers, light (candle), and incense in front of an image of Bodhisattva Vajrapani. If you don’t have an image of Bodhisattva Vajrapani but has the Vajrapani Ruel, you can put it on your altar and make the offering. Simply doing these things, you will definitely be blessed by Bodhisattva Vajrapani by gaining a lot of merits. The merits that you gained this day will surely double or even triple!

Basic Courtesy When Offering Fruits and Flowers To The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas!

Published Hulyo 22, 2015 by jptan2012

flower offered to buddhaI don’t know whether courtesy is the right word, but for now I think it will suffice.

If you are to offer fruits or flowers to the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas, it’s customary or a basic courtesy that you only select them by how they look. It’s considered highly improper and a disrespect to the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas when you smell them. This is because it seems like you are getting or tasting something before you offers something to a being that is way above you. In the same manner, do not ever smell the flowers or fruits while they’re still on the altar.

What if you accidentally smelled them? Then it is customary to whisper “Offering to the Buddha”!

I know some Westerners or non – Buddhist will find this a little too much, but it only sows how most Buddhist respects the Buddha or Bodhisattva.

Taking Home Some Good Chi from Holy or Sacred Places

Published Marso 31, 2012 by jptan2012

Whenever I go on a trip, I always make sure to visit a holy or sacred place. In China, I always try to visit a famous temple or a sacred site like Mt. Putuo. In Bangkok, I visit the famous Four – Faced Buddha. In France, I try to visit Lourdes.

An image of the largest Kuan Yin in the world which is found in the holy mountain in China - Mt. Putuo.

It doesn’t matter whether the holy or sacred place is a Buddhist site or a Muslim site or a Catholic place. As long as it’s considered holy or sacred I try to visit it and take with me a slice of good chi from the holy site.

I do this by getting a small amount of earth from the site, or in the case of Lourdes I buy some ‘holy water’, or I get some burnt incense ash from their incense burner.  I then bring them home and put them on my altar or in the garden.

The natural things found in these places imbibes the positive chi of the holy or sacred place and bringing them to your house will ‘bless’ your place with their chi.

However, you should make sure you mentally ask permission first before you get anything from these places. It is also advisable that you do a thank you offering for the ‘blessing’ that you’re taking home.

There are different ways of doing an offering. You can either offer some flowers, incense, or donate some money.

Myth Buster 7: Potpourri Makes for a Good Offering

Published Marso 16, 2012 by jptan2012

I’ve never really heard of Buddhist offering potpourri to their images, but a number of people has asked whether it’s okay to use a potpourri as an offering because it’s an offering of flowers and scent!

The truth a potpourri is considered as a very inauspicious offering. A potpourri is cut up dried flowers. Meaning its dead flower. Therefore, it’s high in Yin energy and is not suitable as an offering to your Buddhas or Bodhisattvas.

Furthermore, it’s actually not suitable to be placed in a room because it creates Yin energy that may be harmful to us. It might create bad luck for the people who occupy the room, or it might even steal the energy of a good Feng Shui.

I know they may seem nice but it’s best to avoid potpourris!
