Receive Wonderful Blessings of Wealth, Peace and Protection from the Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras and Lama Atisha Combined Amulet (1): A Focus on a First Class Buddhist Relic Called the “Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras”!

This is a long post. In fact, it is one of my longest post. I have written about his before and I decided to do a repost because the “FOUR DHARMKAYA RELIC MANTRAS AMULET” and the “LAMA ATISHA AMULET” will play a very important role this year and the coming years. Separately, both amulets are quite powerful but combined they are simply one of the best. I decided to repost / rewrite this so that you will understand what they are about and how special they are.

I have been wanting to write about these two powerful amulets for a long time, since I started this blog, but it was only 2013 when Guru Lama gave me the permission to write about it.

I’ve known about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET for quite some time now and I’ve always wanted to write about them, however, THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET both requires a special permission for one to be able to write about them.

In one of my trips to Singapore last 2012, I met with my guru Lama, and when I informed him about my blog and my desire to write about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET, he said that I can only write about them once he has given me the permission and once we have ensured that writing it will benefit my readers as well and that I will write for a bigger purpose. In short, I cannot write about them only because I believe in THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET and that I want to write about it. He also added that I need to pass several ‘test’ before I can write about them. I cannot go into details as to what are those tests are but it involves an oracle to be done by my guru Lama.

As you can discern, I was already given the permission to write about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET, this is because I did pass the test, and the oracle indicated that I could start writing about them because this has a higher purpose. I’ll write about the higher purpose in the third part of this series.

I will first write about the THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRA. It is not just one of the most powerful mantra in the world, but more than that it is also considered as relic, and it is one of the most powerful relics in Buddhism.

THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS is perhaps one of the most powerful Buddhist relics. It is considered as a first class relic and is considered by high lamas, like Lama Zopa Rinpoche, to be one of the most important mantra and sacred relics in the world.

THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS is compose of four (4 ) different relic mantras, and these are the following:

  • STAINLESS PINNACLE DIETY
  • SECRET RELIC
  • ZUNG OF THE EXALTED COMPLETELY PURE STAINLESS LIGHT
  • 100,000 ORNAMENTS OF ENLIGHTENMENT

To be completely honest, it took me years of on and off lessons before I understood the importance of the THE FOUR DHARMKAYA RELIC MANTRAS, but even then I don’t think I understand it completely.

However, what I’m sure of is having this relic is a great wonderful blessing of incomparable magnitude.

For those who are currently facing some difficulties in their life, THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS is sure to help make things easier. It’s also good to create good karma.

I first heard about the wonderful power of THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS several years back, I was already a student of Feng Shui then but not yet a serious student of Buddhism. This happened in Malaysia. I was looking for a Prayer Wheel that used a microfilm; this was when Prayer Wheels are still mostly made of ordinary paper. When I wasn’t able to get what I was looking for, the seller told me that more than the Prayer Wheel; I should get myself a FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and use it as an amulet. That was the first time I heard about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS, and the seller told me about it.

According to the seller, he used to be poor, as in poor as one can be, his mother and himself lives on the street and they were times when they are only able to eat once – a – day and only if somebody will give them their scraps.

One of the places that they frequent is a Buddhist temple, and there a monk, would always give them food whenever he is around. In exchange, his mom would always ask him to help out in the temple. And although the monk doesn’t have much either because of his vow of poverty, and would only eat what was donated to him, he would always make sure that he has something for the seller and his mom.

One time, the monk gave him a 3 pieces of bread (mantou – a siopao dough without the meat). He only ate one, and when asked why, he explained that he would give 2 pieces to his mom. This earned him some praise from the monk. He then left to look for his mom to give the bread. On his way to look for his mom, who is doing some menial jobs in nearby market in exchange for a small amount of money, he came across a boy who looks really hungry. According to the seller he took pity, and decided to give a piece to the boy, although he also said that he had second thoughts because a piece of bread, for somebody who is always looking for food like them is a very big thing. Nevertheless, he said since he knows how it is to be really hungry; he decided to give it to the boy. Little did he know that the monk followed him to give him some fruits. The monk saw what he did and asked told him to bring he should ask his mom to go with him to the temple the next day.

When the seller and his mom arrived at the temple the following day, a monk told his mom about the generous act of the seller, who was a young boy then. The monk told his mom that he is giving both of them a powerful mantra written on yellow paper that they must wear on their body at all times. The said paper was already rolled and put in a leather pouch.

According to the seller, as soon as they started wearing the mantra on their body things started to change. Things started to get better. His mom found a regular job, and he got to go to school with the help of a businessman who owns the company where his mother works as a janitress.

As proof, the seller showed me the mantra given to them by the monk; it is now enclosed in a gold amulet holder, which he wears as a pendant. According to the seller, he has since married and was gifted with 11 children, who all became professionals! He humbly shared that the poor homeless boy now has 2 houses in the US, a house in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Germany! Of course, not to mention his 4 houses in Malaysia. He simply works because he doesn’t want to grow senile and his store also becomes a venue for him to share Buddhist amulets to people who can’t afford them.

It was only later that he found out that the mantra given to him by the monk is a blessed copy of THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS.

I like his story but didn’t put so much thought about the THE FOUR DHARMKAYA RELIC MANTRAS, until my guru Lama gave one copy to me and told me about it’s marvelous benefits.

It has the power to save us from harm and bless us if we strive to have a good heart.

It also has the power to bring us to enlightenment, something that every Buddhists aspire for.

It has the power to give us good rebirth.

It has the power to grant us enough financial wealth luck.

If you don’t know whether a place your going to has good or bad Feng Shui or Chi, wearing a copy of THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS on your body has the ability to protect you from all the negative chi or bad effects of the bad Feng Shui of a place.

Most Buddhist scriptures states that THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS should be put inside a stupa for it to be effective, and most of the teaching of Lama Zopa Rinpoche indicates that it should be put inside a stupa. However, the Dalai Lama said that although a stupa is preferred, it is not a requisite for THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS to be effective. A stupa is not the most practical thing to have by most people. It’s quite difficult to acquire one. And as we can see with the story of the seller, THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS was effective even if it was just place inside a leather pouch. My own copy of the THE FOUR DHARMKAYA RELIC MANTRAS was initially just placed inside a red cloth; I later transferred it to a metal amulet holder.

Allow me to post here what Lama Zopa Rinpoche has to say about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS. Please note that this was originally intended for other monks or Lamas so you have to make some adjustments in its interpretation to make it more applicable to a layperson like us.

The Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras and Their Benefits

The four dharmakaya relic mantras (Stainless Pinnacle Deity, Secret Relic, Zung of the Exalted Completely Pure Stainless Light, and 100,000 Ornaments of Enlightenment) are a sacred relic. They are the highest relics of Buddha, relics of the dharmakaya. Other relics, the ones that we normally see, such as relics of the robes or parts of Buddha’s holy body, are secondary relics. These four mantras are the highest relic. After I learned about the unbelievable benefits of each of these mantras, I had them written down and we printed many. These are normally what we should put inside stupas, statues, and so on. These very special mantras give unbelievable power. If you have put these mantras inside a statue, the devas will come to worship that holy object three times a day.

By putting these mantras inside a stupa, even a bell that is offered to the stupa brings unimaginable benefit. For example, the negative karma of all sentient beings who hear the sound of that bell is purified. They are liberated from the lower realms. Their negative karma is purified and they receive a good rebirth. In that way, there is unbelievable benefit. It makes it so easy for sentient beings to purify negative karma and reach enlightenment.

Also, if you circumambulate a stupa that has these mantras inside even one time, it purifies the negative karma that causes you to be reborn in all the eight hot hells. The negative karma that causes you to be born in all the eight hot hells – from the lightest down to the heaviest, most unbearable suffering hell realm – is completely purified by going around a stupa with these mantras inside just once.

The Very Essence of the Extensive Benefits of the Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras

The benefits of circumambulating and so forth are extensively explained, including the benefits from the tantric side, in the sutra called Arya Compassionate Eye Looking One and in the sutra called Compassionate White Lotus, and so forth.

Stainless Pinnacle Deity Mantra (Tsugtor Drime)
As explained by the Buddha in the Kangyur, there are skies of benefits for making even just one prostration, circumambulation, or offering to a holy object containing the mantra of the Stainless Pinnacle Deity (Tsugtor Drime):

It purifies completely the karmic obstacles of the five uninterrupted negative karmas (killing one’s father or mother, killing an arhat, causing blood to flow from a buddha, and causing a schism in the Sangha).

One will be completely liberated from the hell, hungry ghost, and animal realms and from the evil-gone realm of the yama world.

One will have a long life.

Like a snake changing its skin, when leaving the body, one will have the fortune to go to the blissful realm (i.e., a pure land).

One will never be stained by the smell of the womb.

All one’s wishes will be completely and exactly fulfilled.

If you put this mantra inside a stupa, you will never be reborn in the lower realms and will have a pure life until you achieve enlightenment. You will have good rebirths up until enlightenment is achieved.

This is most amazing. We have so many human problems that we can’t bear, so how could we bear the sufferings of the lower realms, such as being born as an insect, much less being born a hell being, animal, or preta? When human beings have problems, they can communicate. They can try many ways to resolve the problems. But animals and pretas cannot do this, and their suffering is so much greater. They have unbelievable problems, so there is no question about the hell beings whose suffering is unimaginably heavier.

So it is unbelievably precious that we can be freed forever from these sufferings, just by putting the Stainless Pinnacle Deity’s mantra inside stupas (100,000 copies of this mantra should be put into stupas). From now on, we will have pure lives and higher rebirths up until enlightenment is achieved.

So there are incredible benefits from building stupas and putting these Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras inside. It is so easy to purify all the heavy negative karmas from beginningless rebirth. Anyone who has the opportunity to put this mantra inside a stupa is therefore the most fortunate being in the world. They create the cause for long life, as well as to be reborn in a pure land. Of course, this brings a lot of merit, but that didn’t happen without cause and effect and conditions, meaning we created a lot of good karma in the past.

Secret Relic Mantra (Sangwa Rigsel)
Also, as explained by the Buddha in the Kangyur, if you have this mantra inside a holy object, then all the buddhas will abide in that holy object. Therefore, there are skies of benefits for making even just one prostration, circumambulation, or offering to a holy object containing the Secret Relic mantra (Sangwa Rigsel):

One purifies the negative karma of the ten non-virtuous actions and so forth, and will be completely liberated from the eight hot hells, including the unbearable hell (Avici). One also purifies the five uninterrupted negative karmas

One will never turn back from peerless enlightenment. (That is, one will never go down; one’s life will always be directed toward enlightenment. This is irreversible; one will never go in the opposite direction.)

One will always attain higher rebirth.

By printing the Secret Relic Mantra, if you are given the blessing to print it, just once, you collect the same amount of merit as making offerings to 100,000 x 10 million x 100 billion buddhas. This was told to Vajrapani.

Having made offerings to as many buddhas as there are in ninety-nine sesame seed pods – that is how much merit you create and you are always guided by that many buddhas.

This is just a drop from the unimaginable benefits of this mantra.

Zung of the Completely Pure Stainless Light (Özer Drime)
There are many Zung of the Exalted Completely Pure Stainless Light mantras, and they are all contained within the Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras. These mantras have unbelievable, mindblowing skies of benefit. As explained by the Buddha in the Kangyur, there are skies of benefit in making even just one prostration, circumambulation, or offering to a holy object containing the Zung of the Completely Pure Stainless Light (Özer Drime):

If one offers even a bell to a stupa containing this mantra, all the sentient beings in that area, animals or humans, by hearing the sound of that bell will be completely purified of the five uninterrupted negative karmas.

Normally, committing the five uninterrupted negative karmas causes one to be reborn in the lowest hot hell, which is extremely heavy suffering, but having this mantra inside a stupa purifies it all. This shows how unbelievably powerful this mantra is. Since even hearing the sound of a bell offered to such a stupa has incredible power to purify, there is no question that any insect or other being who sees or touches the stupa is purified of negative karma. Even just thinking about the stupa purifies the five uninterrupted negative karmas. That is amazing! It is so powerful! It is like a small flame that eventually grows into a fire that burns many thousands of miles of forest or entire cities.

Even water, rain or dust that just touches the stupa is so blessed that it purifies all the negative karmas of the insects on the ground who come into contact with it. And

the wind that touches such a stupa purifies the negative karmas of people or animals that it contacts and brings a good rebirth. Even if the shadow of the stupa touches people and insects, their heavy negative karma is purified.

From the Kangyur:

If this mantra is put inside a stupa then any being, including evil transmigratory beings, who sees the stupa, hears of the stupa, touches the stupa, or who is touched by dust or wind that comes from this stupa, will be free from all negative karmas. They will be born in the realms of happy transmigratory beings1 and they won’t be reborn in the lower realms.

Everything that touches the land the stupa is on becomes meaningful, including the rain that touches the stupa and then flows to the ground and touches worms. The worms’ negative karma is purified and they will receive a higher rebirth.

If there is a stupa containing this mantra in the center of a road or above a road and cars can pass under it or go around it, this is unbelievable purification. It doesn’t only purify the negative karma of this life, it purifies the negative karma of many past lives and plants the seed of enlightenment.

The Destroyer Qualified Gone Beyond [Shakyamuni Buddha] advised the Bodhisattva Great Sattva: Eliminating All Obscurations, Owner of the Secrecy, Vajra in the Hand [Vajrapani], the four guardians, the deva Unforgettable2 Owner [Brahma], and the devas of Tsangri, the Maha Deva, [the Hindu God Mahashora], and so forth: “You, the capable holy beings, I hand over this heart of the king of the secret mantra. Always keep it, put it in a jeweled samato [container]. Then proclaim it to all places. Continually reveal it to sentient beings. If you make sentient beings hear and see this mantra, their five uninterrupted negative karmas will be purified.”

100,000 Ornaments of Enlightenment (Jangchub Gyänbum)
Finally, as explained by the Buddha in the Kangyur, there are skies of benefits for making even just one prostration, circumambulation, or offering to a holy object containing the mantra of the 100,000 Ornaments of Enlightenment (Jangchub Gyänbum):

By putting even just one mantra of the Ornament of Enlightenment inside a stupa, it brings the same merit as having built 100,000 stupas – whether the stupa is gigantic like Bodhgaya or tiny like the size of a finger. Then, if you dedicate this merit for sentient beings, for their happiness up to full enlightenment, they receive unbelievable benefits and you receive unbelievable merit.

One collects the merit of having made offerings to all the buddhas, to all the Dharma, and to all the Sangha. Why? Because when you make offerings to a stupa

containing the 100,000 Ornaments of Enlightenment Mantra, you are not only making offering to a stupa. It becomes an offering to all the buddhas, the Three Rare Sublime Ones – all the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha that exist in the ten directions, in any universe.

After a person has died, chant that person’s name during the exact moment you put the mantra inside the stupa (before placing it inside the stupa, the mantra should be rolled correctly and covered in yellow cloth). Then you make offerings to the stupa – either actual offerings, or visualized, as in the seven limb prayer. If you visualize offerings, visualize all the flowers inside and outside, all the food offerings, all the water offerings, all the light offerings, everything! You can use all the offerings at my houses in California and Washington, as well as all the offerings at all the FPMT centers.

Buddha said to Ananda: “I explained this sutra for those beings who have very little merit and no devotion, for those who are overcome by doubt and cannot believe in the Dharma. For those sentient beings, I explained the 100,000 Ornaments of Enlightenment mantra.” That means Buddha explained this mantra for us.

Buddha also told Ananda: “In future times, if ordained ones don’t read this sutra that contains the benefits of this mantra and don’t make offering to this mantra, which makes it so unbelievably easy to purify the negative karma that causes one to be reborn in the lower realms and to accumulate the merit to achieve enlightenment and then offer extensive benefit to sentient beings, those ordained ones will suffer in the same way as householders. But if one listens to this teaching and then makes even one stupa with this mantra inside, one makes offering to all the 84,000 teachings of the Buddha.” This means that this mantra is an antidote to the 84,000 delusions, and one creates inconceivable heaps of merit. This is the same as reading the sutra called Tongpa Denpe Do (Sutra of the Ornamented Trunk)

When you put these four dharmakaya relic mantras inside a stupa, even mentioning the name of a person or animal that has died and praying for them brings them a good rebirth, such as birth in a pure land. That person will definitely be liberated from the lower realms. It is very powerful. You can also do the same for very sick people, making dedications for them to be healthy. As you put the mantras inside the stupa (or holy object), you should do the seven-limb practice and make the dedication for that person. This is a very powerful method for healing.

Holy objects such as these liberate sentient beings continuously twenty-four hours a day, every day. They purify the causes of the lower realms and bring sentient beings to the higher realms where they can meet the Dharma and then reach liberation and enlightenment.

Creating holy objects with these special mantras inside and making them available to others brings constant, unbelievable benefit to sentient beings. As soon as stupas and statues of the Buddha are made, they have the power to cause sentient beings to do actions such as circumambulating, prostrating, offering, and so forth, which then become virtuous actions creating the cause of enlightenment, even if those actions are done with the eight worldly dharmas3 and non-virtuous thoughts. These holy objects make it possible for sentient beings to create the cause to meet the Dharma and actualize the path. So even though we who are making these holy objects do not have realizations such as bodhichitta or emptiness, nor have we reached any of the bodhisattva bhumis, the holy objects we make still have the power to liberate sentient beings from the oceans of samsaric suffering, to actualize all the realizations of the path – Guru devotion, the three principles of the path, and the two stages – and then to achieve enlightenment.

These are illustrations of the activity of the Buddha’s unbelievable compassion toward us sentient beings and are but a few of the drops of Buddha’s unbelievable methods to liberate sentient beings quickly from the sufferings of samsara.

Zung is commonly understood to mean “mantra.” Rinpoche has further explained zung as “the unforgettable remembrance special wisdom, functioning to stop non-virtue and create virtue.”

A Special Gold Piyao Empowered By A Crystal to Invite Wealth Luck!

In the preceding post – An Important Peek to the 2018 Year of the Earth Dog: Bleak Financial Forecast and Early Preparation is Key! –  I talked about how the remaining three months (November, December, January) of the 2017 Lunar Year,  is besieged with conflicting energies that it becomes a challenging three months. Furthermore, one will find it hard to harness one’s wealth luck or financial luck in the said last three months. But what is quite disturbing is that the Bazi Chart of 2018 Year of the Earth Dog indicates that the year is devoid of the metal element which for the year represents wealth luck / financial luck / money luck.

This means that the year is going to be financially challenging.

And so Guru Lama has recently released the VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET, to help address this concern. But on top of that this year a gold Piyao (also spelled as Pi Yao, Pixie, Pi Xie, Pixiu, Pi Xiu) plays an important role for us to be able to harness wealth luck or financial luck or money luck this year. But if you read thru the post, which a big part has been written in the preceding post, you will see that the Piyao is not just for 2018, it is a Feng Shui charm with Buddhist and Taoist influence (as you will see it a lot in both Buddhist and Taoist temples) and always play an important role in our lives. I personally constantly wear a jade Piyao and makes sure that I have some extras just in case it broke. But this time, I’m upgrading to a gold Piyao and not just any gold Piyao but the Special Gold Piyao designed and released by Guru Lama.

The Piyao is part of the Three Celestial Guardian but on it’s own is a powerful celestial being, when its image is worn or displayed, bestows great merit of protection and wealth!

Guru Lama is releasing a SPECIAL GOLD PIYAO (also spelled as Pi Yao, Pi Xiu, Pixiu, Pi Xie, Pixie). A Piyao is quite common, but as I always say it is best to get the one with an active stance and not the one lying down or relax stance, this is specially true for 2018 Year of the Earth Dog.

A Piyao or Pixiu or Pi Xie is a celestial animal or being known for its protective qualities when facing the Tai Suey. This celestial animal that is part of the Three Celestial Guardian is a great ‘peace’ offering to the Tai Suey or Grand Duke Jupiter. However, more than just as an offering it is a very powerful wealth accumulator.

As mentioned, the Pi Yao or Pi Xie is a mystical creature that is particularly powerful and auspicious. It is said to have a voracious appetite that is infinite. The interesting part is that the Pi Yao does not have an anus, which means things only go in but never come out. On top of that, the Piyao as directed by the Jade Emperor (who is the highest God in Taoism but is a powerful heavenly being in the Buddhism) is only able to eat gold and silver. It is therefore a favorite must-have for businessmen and merchants who want money to come in and not spill out a dime. It is no wonder that Pi Yao can often be seen in banks, casinos, foreign exchange markets and finance companies in Oriental countries. I mentioned earlier that traditionally, a Piyao is not an animal meant to be worshipped, but, in countries like Thailand and Cambodia, people worship the Pi Yao and offer incense and flowers within business premises. Having said this, if your Piyao is made of natural crystal its okay to light an incense in front of your Piyao not to worship it but to cleanse it from a negative ‘energies’.

Aside from this, the Chinese adore the Pi Yao because of its very protective, obedient and loyal nature. It is believed that the Pi Yao will always try its best to grant its owner’s wishes and protect its owner from injuries. Because of these capabilities, smaller versions of Pi Yao are often worn as amulets. Many stories have been told where victims of car accidents or robbery assaults surprisingly escaped the ordeal unharmed and found out later that the Pi Yao amulets they were wearing or keeping had mysteriously broken into two or damaged. It is said that their Pi Yao had sacrificed themselves to protect their owner. Treat your Pi Yao like it’s a real pet – pat them, rub them – a happy Pi Yao will go the extra mile to grant your wishes.

Note: The Pi Yao, like the Dragon, although highly revered and considered as really powerful, are not meant to be worshipped. The Fu Dogs and Piyaos are usually placed and used as temple, imperial court guardians. However, unlike the Fu Dogs, Pi Yao are also usually placed outside business establishments, banks to act not only as guardians but also as wealth catchers. There are some establishments in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan that have the Fu Dogs in their gate or outer door and a pair of Pi Yao in the main entrance or in the lobby.

Regular readers of this blog knows that even if the bazi chart of the year doesn’t lack wealth luck, I still firmly believes in the power of the Pi Yao or Pi Xie or Pi Xiu. But on 2018 Year of the Earth Dog and the coming years, starting this last quarter of the 2017 lunar year, the Pi Yao plays an important role for everybody. It is one of the Holy Trinity for the year, the will ultimately play an important role for one’s security in wealth luck / financial luck / money luck.

Note: Pi Yao is also a wonderful symbol to appease the Grand Duke Jupiter or Tai Sui. Depending on your horoscope sign, you might be offending the Grand Duke in a particular year, directly or indirectly. If your horoscope sign is in conflict with the Grand Duke, you will suffer a year of bad luck and obstacles. Those afflicted with Tai Sui should display the Pi Yao where the annual Grand Duke Jupiter resides in your home as well as carry a Pi Yao protection amulet. The person with the Chinese horoscope sign that is in direct conflict with the Grand Duke Jupiter MUST wear a Pi Yao charm either as a pendant or as a bracelet throughout the year of affliction to guard himself or herself from misfortunes. This practice is highly recommended by Feng Shui enthusiasts.

People who personally know me might have seen the jade Pi Yao that I regularly wear on my wrist with my citrine bracelet. However, this year I will upgrade it to the Special Gold Piyao released by Guru Lama.

There are a lot of Piyao in the market, but what makes this special?

This is specially designed by Guru Lama so that it best represents and embody the wealth acquiring abilities and also fight the negative energies of the remaining lunar months of 2017 and also the lack of money making energies of 2018.

This limited Special Gold Piyao has 4 horns that represents the four cardinal directions – East, West, North, and South. This means that one will be able to take by the horn the challenges to gain financial luck. It also has fierce but still friendly face, this indicates that while you can be fierce in business or work, you will still gain the support and admiration of the people around you. This also means that you can you charm to get to your wealth luck.  Furthermore, it is a ‘special harness’ so one can ‘harness’ it’s energy, this is something that is not found in any other Piyao’s or Pi Xie’s. On top of that they designed the said Pi Xie’s with 12 heavenly money coins to represent wealth luck for each of the 12 lunar months. The coins are found on it’s back and also at the bottom part of the image and on his legs, so this represents that it walks on money and is need not ‘search’ for it. On top of the 12 ‘big’ heavenly money coin, it also has another 5 heavenly money coin on each side of the it’s harness. This further represents that the ‘owner’ of the Pi Yao can harness wealth into his or her life. On each side of its hind legs is the symbol for protection. This represents protection from earthly dangers and envious eyes, and also harmony so that one doesn’t get into a rough, hostile situation is one’s quest to simply get more financial luck to provide for one’s family. Also incorporated is the symbol for longevity to constantly provide good health. Lastly, although quite small and not easily visible, the Piyao was designed to have strong sharp teeth, to represent its power to fight off demons and also negative energies that might cause bad luck. There are a lot of Piyaos especially those that are made out of jade or other stones, but this one is specially designed to confront the remaining negative 3 month of the lunar 2017, and the lack of wealth energies of the 2018 Year of the Earth Dog. But on top of that, the gold used in making the said Piyao are gold from the offering of the Sangha members to the temple.

Buddhist would offer money, food, flowers, oil, incense to an image, but a lot of them especially those are in grave situations will also offer gems and gold. It can be a gold necklace, gold bracelet, gold ring, or gold earrings, but it is not surprising to see even real miniature/small gold bars or gold coins (such are those found in Dubai or China). These gold offerings are recorded for proper auditing and put in a special container under the foot of either the image of Sakyamuni Buddha (Sakyamuni Buddha), Medicine Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, Dipankara Buddha (Dipamkara Buddha), Bodhisattva Kuan Yin (also spelled as Kuan Shi Yin, Guan Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Quan Yin, Quan Shi Yin, Avalokitesvara, Kannon, Chenrezig), Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (Earth Store Bodhisattva / Di Zhang Wang Pu Sa) or Vajrapani Bodhisattva. They are just there for years, and whenever the Bhiksu (Monks) or Bhiksuni (Buddhist nuns) with the higher lamas chant mantras or recite sutras or perform pujas, the said jewelries or gold offerings are blessed as well. Then the once in a while they open one of these containers to melt the gold to make an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva or makes gold flakes out of it so that when we invite an amulets, they can ‘sell’ these gold to make said images of Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or plate images under our name. This becomes a way for them to raise funds to make more images or temple or food for the monks especially the student monks and also for their food.

So you see, because they stay under an image for years, and they get the power from the chanting of mantras, reciting of sutras, or pujas from the Bhiksu, Bhiksuni, or the high lamas like Guru Lama, these gold items becomes really blessed. And this is what Guru Lama has used to make the said Special Gold Piyao.

But simply wearing a Piyao or the Special Gold Piyao is not enough. You need to ensure that the element produces metal is constantly present in your life as well. Thus the Special Gold Piyao is strung along with some crystals. However, this is where it becomes personalized because the crystal or semi – precious stone while largely earth element that will harness the growth of metal, should also be dependent on the element that best represents your own wealth luck. So for some it will be citrine, some will be amethyst (like me), some may have jade or aventurine, some may have clear quartz or a moonstone, and some may have lapis lazuli or tourmaline or onyx.

As mentioned the Special Gold Piyao will play an important role and is one of the Holy Trinity must have amulets of the year. However, having this Special Gold Piyao for the rest of your life will also prove to be a powerful tool to continue to harness wealth luck / financial luck / money luck and also serves a great protection charm. Furthermore, if you find yourself confronted by Tai Suey or the Grand Duke Jupiter, it also serves as great ‘offering’.

Why “Creation of Wealth”?: Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet Is An Amulet That Creates Wealth for You and Other Questions, Answered.

Vaisravana Dzambhala Wealth Amulet

The Vaisavana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet has the consecrated copies of the mantras of King Vaisravana of the Four Heavenly Kings and the mantras of the Five Dzambhalas. Furthermore, there are some special ingredients in powder form that are included to add to the potency of the amulet. Before it is sealed it is furthered consecrated on the image of The Four Heavenly Kings.It is placed in a metal case, not just for its durability and protection but according to the Tantric Buddhist Scripture book where Guru Lama got the instructions for this amulet, it has to be placed in cylindrical metal case to symbolize continuity and stability.

Barely three days since I have written about the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet and I have already been bombarded by various questions.

On this post, I will try some of your questions.

  1. How do you know that the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is effective if it is a fairly young amulet?

 

In the Buddhist tradition, every now and then a new amulet is discovered either thru accident or thru deep meditation of high lama. My Guru Lama rediscovered the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet about 20 years ago, and yes an amulet that is only a few decades old is considered young. However, as I said, this amulet was rediscovered rather than discovered by my Guru Lama. It was in a copy of a 1,200 year old Tantric Buddhist Scripture or book called “Maha Biddhuya Vaircona Abihidisambohi Vikurvitadthisnana Vaipulya Sudrentaha Raja Nama Dharma – Paryaya”. A modern print of a copy of this book is kept in the library of their temple and when he was meditating on how to help one of his Sangha members, he under deep meditative state saw a copy of this book. When he came up of his meditation he went to get the copy of the book and read it, it took him months before he came across the initiation on how to this amulet.

The book is 1,200 years old and so the amulet or its initiation must have been at the very least also 1,200 year old.

As to the question whether it is effective, my Guru Lama first made it about 2 decades ago, and it worked for the person he made it for. He has since then made it for several other people and according to Guru Lama wit works every time.

 

  1. Why wasn’t it famous or rediscovered sooner?

 

Amulets are unique in that sense, there are a lot of amulets, and amulets will be gone and resurface again. Nobody knows the exact explanation for this but Lama Zopa Rinpoche once said that amulets sometimes come and go depending on the collective need of the people. Meaning, there are amulets that we don’t collectively need before but we collectively need now. What determines this is basically the ruling energies of the period we are in.

 

  1. How is the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet different from other amulet?

 

I have written about this in the introductory post about the amulet. But to put it simply, other amulets pull your wealth luck base on the different paths of your pre – destiny, which contrary to popular there are actually more than one path to our destiny/destinies.

Here, allow me to quote again what I have written:

Guru Lama explains that the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is not an amulet that gives you a quick rich blessing. Although, he has seen this happened also. However, he said the main effect of the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is protection; protection that you don’t lose your wealth or money, but it is also helps you create your wealth by leading you to the right people and to the right sources. Guru Lama explains that in “Maha Biddhuya Vaircona Abihidisambohi Vikurvitadthisnana Vaipulya Sudrentaha Raja Nama Dharma – Paryaya”, the Tantric Buddhist Scripture or book where he found the guideline for the initiation of the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet, it clearly states that this particular wealth amulet is an amulet that helps gather wealth sources for you, then helps you actualize your wealth, after which it will stabilize it and makes it a continuous process to help your wealth grow bigger and bigger. Thus it is imperative that the container is a cylindrical metal to represent continuity and stability. What does this mean? It means it is unique in such a way that it doesn’t pull out from your bazi or karma or own luck the money, but rather it creates wealth luck for you. Other amulets like the Vajrapani Ruel, which is mainly a protective amulet but has a very high percentage of wealth luck manifesting features, will bring wealth luck to you if you have wealth luck base on your bazi or karma. Our life are pre – determined, but this doesn’t mean that it is only pre – determined on a single path, it is pre – determined with various paths, the normal is 3 – 4 paths, sometimes more, but there are times that it is only 2. However, admittedly there is a single path is more dominant than all the other paths. And what the Vajrapani Ruel and the other amulet do is get your wealth luck from all the other paths. The Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is unique in such a way that even if there is no wealth luck in all the ‘paths’ of your life, it creates it for you. So in a way it changes your wealth destiny. So this amulet is very good for people who absolutely don’t have wealth luck.Nevertheless, for those who have wealth luck already but are unable to tap into it, the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet helps pull those luck for you, make it attainable and then creates a new path for you so that it becomes sustainable and continuous, it is not a “one time, big time” thing.

 

  1. What is consecrated and how is this different blessing?

 

Blessing is like asking the Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deity to touch the amulet. Consecration is done with a special ritual where a high lama, and only a high lama can do this, will ask the Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deity to leave an imprint of the Buddha’s (etc.) energy on the item being consecrated. There are also a limited number of items that can be consecrated. Also, although a blessing done by a monk is definitely better, all of us can do a blessing ritual, but with consecration only a high lama with the proper knowledge to do a consecration ritual can consecrate an item or amulet. Not all monks or lama can consecrate.

 

  1. Why is the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet being made available now?

 

Guru Lama felt this is the right time to make the amulet available because (1) he notice than more and more people are experiencing some financial difficulty; (2) there seems to be a pervading worldwide of energy of financial instability which is cause by different factors, one of which is also political instability.

 

  1. How can we request for the amulet?

 

Powerful and rare amulets are always difficult to come – by. In the old days, an amulet is given by the abbot to Sangha members (temple goers) who they feel are deserving of the amulet and who do work for the temple. The work may be in a form of monetary contribution, but in those times it is usually actual physical work, like helping to clean, cooking or donating vegetables and fruits. Because there must always be an exchange of energies as a representation of a person acquiring it.

These days, because of the changes in time, people are no longer to spend time in the temple to do work for them. And certainly almost nobody donates fresh fruits and vegetables. So a stipulated donation is normally requested. The said amount doesn’t come ‘cheap’ only because one in a way has to cover the cost of the materials used, the offering offered (flowers, fruits, vegetables, oil, incense, bottles of water, gold flakes, etc.) and it is customary to sort of impose that the person donate an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva for a temple. Technically speaking the amulet itself is not part of it, but there are some conditions for the exchange of energies to be fulfilled. Part of it also if for the feeding of the monks.

  1. What’s inside the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet?

 

Inside the amulet are specially consecrated copies of the mantras of King Vaisravana of the Four Heavenly Kings, and of the Five Dzambhalas. Also inside are several holy ingredients in powder form. Before closing the amulet it is further consecrated the Four Heavenly Kings (to understand this better I suggest you read my post about the Four Heavenly Kings).

Putting it in a cylindrical metal holder or container is extremely important because it is specifically mentioned the initiation guidelines. This is to represent continuity and stability.

According to Guru Lama, it takes him 3 days to fully consecrate the mantras, while he can do several copies at the same time, the consecration before the closing of the amulet can only be done one at a time. Obviously, this is quite tedious so he can only make a few every now and then.

Lastly, the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet also comes with a 7 – Day ritual pack. You will have to do a short ritual everyday for 7 days before one can wear the amulet. This ritual is integral and an important part of the process for the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet reach it’s full potential in creating your wealth luck or in pulling your wealth luck.

Recite – A – Sutra (9): A Sutra Called Avatamsaka Sutra and Powerful Amulet Called Avatamsaka Amulet that Dispels Off the Hindrances in Our Life’s Luck!

Life’s luck is such a curious thing. It shows that we are all connected to one another, sometimes our Bazi Chart (Paht Chee Chart) indicates that we are extremely lucky, however, due to our relationships with some people or maybe due to the bad Feng Shui of our house or office we experience a lot of negative things, or maybe these luck that is set for us becomes unattainable.

This is actually more common that we realize. In fact, a lot of the problems that my readers consult me are problems that sometimes are caused by people around them or by ancestors. Or maybe these are problems caused by circumstances that affect their loved ones.

Let me try to explain it further. What I want to say is that sometimes we are strictly speaking lucky, but there are hindrances to our luck because of the luck experienced by the people around us or people we deal with. This is because our luck whether we like it or not is affected by other people, by the people who is around us.

For example, a husband and wife, the luck of the husband may be very good but the wife has extreme bad luck. The business of the husband may be doing really well, but let’s just say the wife was affected with the illness star and actually got terribly sick. Because of this the husband will not experience his full luck potential, he will be pulled down by his wife’s luck. On the other hand, the wife even though suffering from an illness will not also experienced her full bad luck potential, she will be pulled up by her husband’s luck. It may be her chart indicates that she will have to undergo a serious operation, but because the husband’s business is doing well, he will be able to get her the best doctors and medicines that may find another cure. On the other hand, the husband’s business may be doing well, but because of his wife’s bad luck, he won’t be able to save the money that he wants to save.

That’s just how life is, and I believe this is the case because whether we want it or not, this serves as a lesson that we are all connected to one another and that we should look out for one another.

Let me give you another example. In career or corporate world a person may be enjoying the luck of advancement by way of promotion or monetary incentive. But in a department, you seldom work on your own, you will have to have people work under you, above you or you have to work with colleagues. However, one colleague fell ill, then you would have to strive to work harder. Again, you are somewhat pulled down, but then because you have that luck you might have pulled it off and he might have gotten some of the credits of what you did.

Again, this is not being unfair or I don’t want you to think that we should start checking on who has bad luck or good luck. This is a lesson that we have to learn. Bad luck and good luck becomes all good luck if we strive to put in positive energies by way of creating harmony.

What we have to be careful of is when it seems that negative energies because of the bad luck of the people around us seems to completely tip the scale to bad luck. This happens when our luck is just average, or when we are not strong enough to put in positive energies by way creating harmony. Or this may happen when the bad luck energies are coming from people who are not close enough to us for us to influence their situation. This is pretty common amongst people in business. Sometimes the people we deal with in business has so much bad luck that we are affected because, well, because we deal business with them.

On a personal level this imbalanced tipping of the scale favoring the bad luck happens when in the family the majority has bad luck, and you are the only one who enjoys good luck. One against the others doesn’t necessarily mean that you become the loser and all becomes negative, if you are strong enough to balance the scale it will happen.

Sometimes the scale also becomes imbalanced because of bad Feng Shui in the house or office. Or sometimes simply because of the how our elements from our Bazi Chart reacts with the elements of year’s Bazi Chart. A classic example of this is how 56 – year – old Ox – born people have a low or no financial luck this 2017 because of how their elements reacted to the year’s elements.

When the scale becomes imbalanced and becomes too negative it is extremely helpful for us to seek the help of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. One very powerful way to do this is to tap the power of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas by reciting one of the most powerful but quite long Buddhist sutra called Avatamsaka Sutra (also called as Flower Garland Sutra or Flower Adornment Sutra).

This sutra is one of the longest Buddhist Sutras and is also one of the most highly revered. In fact it is so long that parts of it has been taken out and made into a separate sutra.

But before we move forward, maybe you’d be asking as to what is Avatamsaka Sutra. Avatamsaka is actually a Bodhisattva.

He is not a very popular Bodhisattva these days because of the lack of reading materials about him. But according to my Guru Lama who introduced me to Bodhisattva Avatamsaka, he is one of the Bodhisattvas that were talked about by Sakyamuni (Shakyamuni) Buddha in his more advanced sutras and was highly extolled by the Buddha.

Going back to the Sutra.tibetan

According to Lama Zopa Rinpoche and my Guru Lama reciting this sutra will certainly take away all the hindrances to one’s growth and one’s luck be it personal, wealth, financial, love, or family.

The Traditional Sutra Amulet format of the Avatamsaka Sutra is so rare and the few that exists is so big and heavy. However, just in time for the Chinese New Year, my Guru Lama was able to acquire a few pieces of the chapter of the Avatamsaka Sutra that is about Kuan Yin Bodhisattva (Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Avalokitesvara, Kannon), having this Traditional Sutra Amulet will help dispel all the blockage of your good luck and pave away for good luck. My Guru Lama is making 5 pieces of this available here in the Philippines. The good news is that even without understanding it, one can recite it in Chinese because he made sure that there is a Pin Yin beside the Chinese words, for people who want to recite it. Again reciting it is better than simply having a copy. Although having a copy alone will already work wonders.

One of 5 copies of the Avatamsaka Sutra (Kuan Yin Bodhisattva Chapter) that’s available here in the Philippines.

Furthermore, my Guru Lama has also acquired some Avatamsaka Amulet made by a Tibetan Yogi Monk (a monk that went through a special disciplinary training akin to yoga but much more deeper and stricter). According to my Guru Lama wearing the Avatamsaka Amulet will definitely take away all the hindrances to all forms of bad luck and at the same time provide us with good luck and help us achieve our full potential. However, I’m unable to provide photo of the Avatamsaka Amulet because according to my Guru Lama this is an amulet that one cannot show to somebody. When you have this, you must keep it inside your shirt. I asked Guru Lama as to why is this the case. All he said is that displaying the said amulet might lose its effectivity if people get attracted to it. He is not sure why this is the case, but this is what they observed. To briefly describe the said amulet, it comes in two forms, one is made of wood with glass, and the other one is made of metal. The two forms are basically the same with a slight variation in the ingredients and material. When one requests for it, one will get it covered in a small pouch and my Guru Lama said the Tibetan Yogi Monk who made it said that the one who requests will attract what he needs.

Chant – A – Mantra 8: Creating An Auric Amulet (1000 Days of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Mantra for a Good Prosperous Life and Ultimate Protection)

One of the most common question people ask me is whether we all really need an amulet. What if we don’t have one does that mean success and luck and protection is going to be more elusive?

The answer to this is that amulets are simply but tools for us to continuously tap into the energies or blessings or power of the Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deity to which an amulet is made from. And it is an effective means of tapping into said power. In fact, His Holiness the  Dalai Lama when escaping the Chinese oppression and flee Tibet to India is said to have carried a powerful amulet and a Kalachakra with him. The current and acknowledged 17th Karmapa is said to have a Vajrapani Ruel with him, also another Tibetan Monk who was sent to hard labor and was considered as a political prisoner was also believed to have been given a Vajrapani Ruel to pave the way for his release. So we cannot deny the importance and relevance of carrying or wearing an amulet. However, the truth is the best amulets are those that are aurically created. Something that is not physically tangible but is strong enough to give us physical and psychically protect us and also gives us some of our heart’s wishes.

KsitigarbhaThere are many ways to ‘make’ such an amulet, however, it takes times and some are quite difficult to create and requires a very strong inner chi and deep knowledge of the spiritual esoteric practices or rituals.

Nevertheless, on THE SUTRA ON THE PAST VOWS OF EARTH STORE BODHISATTVA (Earth Store Bodhisattva is also known as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva) Shakyamuni Buddha (also spelled as Sakyamuni Buddha and also called as Historical Buddha) shared with us one way to make auric amulet. An amulet that is not physically tangible. It does take time to make an amulet but according to my Guru Lama it is one of the most powerful amulet one can have. In fact, according to my Guru Lama when done properly one can also experience an abundance of wealth and financial luck as well as happy life. He is not taking this simply base on the said sutra, but rather he has recommended this to a Singaporean vendor several years ago and who after doing this went to become a very successful and rich businessman.

How to make this auric amulet?

First, it will be easier to do this is you have an image of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha OR A copy of THE SUTRA OF THE PAST VOWS OF EARTH STORE BODHISATTVA. Light an incense and chant mantra NAMO DA YUAN DI ZHANG WANG PU SA 1000 times a day for 1000 days (which is a little more than 3 years). By doing this, Lord Brahma and Lord Shakra, will always protect you and no harm will come to you and your family, on top of that they will be channel of auspicious blessings that will come your way.

NOTE: It has to be the mantra NAMO DA YUAN DI ZHANG WANG PU SA and not the other forms of mantra for this ritual to be effective.

I know it’s quite long but technically speaking it is not long for something so powerful. According to my Guru Lama doing this will give you an auric amulet that may even be more powerful than the Vajrapani Ruel. And the Vajrapani Ruel is considered as one of the most powerful amulet in the Buddhist pantheon, in fact, a lot of those who requested for it has shared their wonderful personal testimonies.

Remember this has to be done everyday; you miss a day you have to start all over again.

To avoid confusion, you can simply chant 10 full malas, which is equivalent to 1080 a day. My Guru Lama said chanting more than 1000 of the Earth Store Bodhisattva mantra is fine as long as it is not less than 1000 a day.

The Buddhist Neighbor

I’m really quite happy that I received the traditional copy of THE SUTRA OF THE PAST VOWS OF THE EARTH STORE BODHISATTVA (also called known as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva) and THE DIAMOND OF PERFECT WISDOM SUTRA just when we are settling to our new home. As I have said these traditional sutra amulets provides protection but more than that they also provide wonderful blessings. I have been looking and aspiring to get such sutras to be place in our house or even in my room. However, even if it is quite common for temples to have them, they are not for sale, neither it is regularly given to the temple goers. Furthermore, while they are in itself carries with it some power; it will be better to get one that was consecrated by a qualified lama or monk. Not all monks are qualified to consecrate a sutra amulet.

But what I want to share now is that when we first moved to our new home, and although we got all the most auspicious omens which I have written about a few posts ago, we sometimes still can’t help but miss our old home. We have been living in our old home since 1980, and moving to new home, even one we have grown to love right away still makes us feel a little ‘homesick’. I think one of the reasons for this; we practically don’t know any of our neighbors. My mom who is not in her 70’s had to make new friends in our neighborhood and it would be quite difficult, especially when we never had any other neighbors than Chinese and pure Filipino, but now some of our neighbors are Spanish mestizo or mestizo.

One other reason is that there is no Buddhist temple that is near our place. I think the nearest is about 45 minutes away. Unlike before where it was only 8 minutes away, on top of that, we’ve designed our house to include a big image of a Bodhisattva Kuan Yin (also called or spelled as Avalokitesvara, Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Kannon, Cannon) on our small and humble front lawn, and the image of Guan Yin Bodhisattva can be seen outside. Several times when we light incense or made offerings in that particular image of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, I noticed some car slowing down or there are a few who really can’t resist but to stare. From what I know there are very few Filipino – Chinese in our new subdivision and I really haven’t seen any of them. And maybe there would be even fewer Buddhist, and we were informed by the person who sold us the property that the subdivision is predominantly Catholic.

About a week since we moved in to our new home, neighbors started introducing themselves, and our image of Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva on our small and humble front lawn became the main focus of these conversations. My mom told me that she felt awkward explaining to our new neighbors as to why do we make offerings in front of the image. However, I think this seems to be an indication that they are genuinely interested in what we do and told my mom that she can use this as an opportunity to talk about Buddhism. But she clearly pointed out to me that she doesn’t have the passion of talking about her faith to people.

Anyway, when I received the traditional copies of the sutra amulets, and my Guru Lama said I and my family can have one each of THE SUTRA OF THE PAST VOWS OF THE KSITIGARBHA BODHISATTVA and THE DIAMOND OF PERFECT WISDOM SUTRA (also called THE VAJRA CUTTER PERFECTION OF WISDOM SUTRA or THE VAJRA SUTRA or THE VAJRA CUTTER SUTRA or THE DIAMOND SUTRA), and so as I said I was really happy to place them on the altar. It is customary that each member of the family to have one wish each as you put the sutras on the altar (we got two wishes each because there are two sutras), my youngest nephews all of a sudden uttered that his only wish is for his grandmother (my mother) to meet a Buddhist neighbor so that his grandmother won’t feel like she’s an alien.

Guess what? The next day, one of our neighbors (well they’re from two streets away) rang our bell and welcomed us with a pot of a vegetarian dish. They are a couple around 60 something. The wife is a Filipina and the husband is Irish, and they both happen to be practicing Buddhist for more than 20 years already! They said they’re happy that have a Buddhist neighbor. I wasn’t there at that time, but my mom said that she told them that she was happy to finally have met a Buddhist neighbor!

Take Extra Precaution this Hungry Ghost Month of the 2016 Year of the Fire Monkey – Part 2!

Today is the start of the Hungry Ghost Month, and I’m sure most of you are aware that this is not a good thing. Hungry Ghost Month, which is the 7th month of the lunar calendar is considered as the worst month of the year. During this time, trading is down, and people avoid going on long trips and undergoing medical procedures. Chinese businessmen also avoid making big changes or making big business decisions during this month of the Hungry Ghost. I have written a lot about the Hungry Ghost Month and it would be good if you read about it if you want to understand more about it.

As mentioned, today is the first day of the ghost month this 2016. It’s peak is on the August 17, so from August 16 to 18 we all need to be careful. But while the hungry ghost month of 2016, unlike in 2014, is not really particularly strong, because of the configurations of the Flying Star the ghost month this year becomes particularly dreaded.

The other day I talked about the first part of what in store and what we should do this Hungry Ghost Month of 2016. As I said, while the Hungry Ghost Month this year is not particularly stronger, unlike that of the year 2014, we should still be a little wary because this year’s ruling star is the black star #2, which is also known as the Illness Star, a star that causes not only Illness but also Accidents.

However, there is more to it. This year’s Hungry Ghost Month also coincides with the fact that the monthly flying star brings to the center, thus making it the ruling star of the month, the most dreaded star of the Flying Star formula which is the #5 Flying Star or the Wu Wang or Five Yellow Star.

The Wu Wang is the most dreaded and is considered as the most dangerous of all stars. It causes different kinds of bad luck like financial problems, family and relationship problems, illness and accidents and a lot more. And as mentioned, this month it lands on the center, making it together with the Illness Star as the ruling star of the month. So aside from the Ox and Tiger, for this month all of us is affected by the effects of this star. This is really bad, and mind you, I don’t really want to sound like I’m a doomsayer but two black stars in the center and coupled with the Hungry Ghost Month, you need not be a Feng Shui expert to know that this is really bad. I’m sure all of you who are familiar with basic Feng Shui knows this to be a dreaded fact.

We all need to be very careful!! We already need to be careful during the Hungry Ghost Month, but coupled with these stars, we really need to be armed with some of the most powerful protection amulets or symbols.

The other day I wrote about the different cures for the Hungry Ghost Month. However, friends and other readers has been bugging as to what should they really wear this month.

One of the most effective cure for the Ghost Month is still the image of Chung Kwei. Please read my post about him by clicking here to understand more about Chung Kwei. The two other powerful cures for the Ghost Month are the Vajrapani Ruel and Surangama Mantra Amulet. However, for people born under the year of the Ox or Tiger it is very important to have both the Chung Kwei and the Vajrapani Ruel or the Surangama Mantra Amulet. Why? This is because Ox and Tiger born people are already predisposed to the negative energies of the year. With the annual Wu Wang residing in the Northeast, and annual Illness Star being the years ruling star, coupled with the monthly Wu Wang being the monthly ruling star and the Hungry Ghost Month joining forces then it is a critical month for all of us but especially for people born under the sign of Ox and Tiger.

It is also very important to wear the Illness Suppression Amulet and the Five Element Pagoda gold pendant. For further protection wearing a Kalachakra pendant made of gold or jade is also very important.

People born under the year of the rat, dog, pig, horse and dragon, should make sure that they have either the Chung Kwei or the Surangama Mantra Amulet with the Five Element Pagoda gold pendant or Kalachakra gold pendant. This is because they are the ones more susceptible to the negative energies of the month.
