In the first part of this post which was posted last week, I talked about how the energies of the year has started to be quite challenging. To make it easier for you to understand it, I have taken to share the article here again:
Late last year, I wrote that the lunar year 2017 would become challenging at the start of the 3rd quarter until the last quarter. The third quarter dawn upon us a lot of calamities both manmade (economic/political) and it is very likely that there is something that has started in the 3rd quarter whose effect we will feel this last quarter of the lunar year (November, December, January) or will feel it’s effect next lunar year, which starts in February 16, 2018.
The remaining energies of the year is not very nice, it is quite hostile, and this would most likely be felt in the financial aspect, although technically speaking all fronts are affected – personal, health, and political or even natural aspect.
There will be some economic of financial imbalanced and money will be quite hard to come in, so it is highly advisable for you everyone to have a strong wealth or money amulet. The VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET is a very good amulet to have because it helps ensure stability and it helps create not just attracts money luck or wealth luck or financial luck.
Politically speaking, and even personally level, it might be a little more chaotic, so politicians are advised to have the Ruyi to strengthen their power and or the Vajrapani Ruel. On a personal level this will manifest in having more arguments, blockage to success or career path and also lost of support.
Health wise some people might be more prone to accidents and/or illness, thus it would be nice to have the gold Kalachakra pendant and/or the Illness Suppression Amulet.
Overall speaking, one has to protect oneself and wearing images of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas should help. I personally suggest wearing the image of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (also known as Earth Store Bodhisattva or Di Zhang Wang Pu Sa). I also strongly recommend for one to wear the FOUR DHARMAKYA RELIC MANTRAS WITH THE LAMA ASTISHA AMULET, an amulet that I have previously written. You can read more about it by clicking here.
It is also highly advisable for everybody to start saving up and plan for long-term financial investments.
If it’s any relevance, it is not only me who is saying this, other reputable Feng Shui experts or writers are saying the same thing. The world famous Malaysian Chinese Feng Shui expert and writer, Lillian Too, has also announced the same thing. A friend told me that she has shared some mantras that you can chant to protect yourself by downloading her video for a fee.
As for me, I have shared with you the amulets that one would need to protect oneself from these hostile energies brought about by the last quarter.
However, as per consultation with Guru Lama, there some mantras that you can chant also. Please note that these mantras should be chanted under deep meditation, with a minimum of 108x (one full mala) or under extreme condition, chant 10 full malas of 1,080x each.
The protection mantras one should recite are the following:
Mantra of Buddha Amitabha: OM AMI DEWA HRIH
Mantra of Medicine Buddha: TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA
Mantra of Buddha Namgyalma: OM BHRUM SOHA OM AMARITA AYUR DADAY SOHA
Note: Buddha Namgyalma is powerful protector Buddha.
Mantra of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara: OM MANI PADME HUM
Note: Avalolitesvara Bodhisattva is also known as Guan Shi Yin / Guan Yin / Kuan Shi Yin / Kuan Yin / Quan Shi Yin / Quan Yin / Kannon / Goddess of Mercy / Bodhisattva of Compassion / Chenrezig.
Mantra of Bodhisattva Earth Store: OM AH KSITIGARBGA THALENG HUM

Mantra of Yellow Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE SOHA
Regular readers of this blog would already know that the Hungry Ghost Month is one of the most dreaded month of the year. This year it falls on August. But the Hungry Ghost Month or Ghost Month happens on the 7th month of the lunar calendar.
In the previous posts, I’ve talked about the cures and amulets one needs but I also make sure that I supplement these with protective mantras. You will notice that these mantras are the mantras I already chant everyday but what I do during Hungry Ghost Month is to chant these mantras again one more full mala before I go to sleep in the evening, or if I have to go out in the evening.
The protective mantras for the Hungry Ghost Month are the following:
OM VAJRAPANI HUM (Mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani) – aside from always making sure that I have the Vajrapani Ruel with me, I also add a few more rounds of mala of the mantra of Vajrapani Bodhisattva. This is to ensure not only of my protection both physically and psychically, but this is also to help ensure that I still get some financial luck during the Ghost Month.
OM AMI DEWA HRIH (Mantra of Buddha Amitabha)
NAMO QIE LAN SHENG CHONG PU SA (Mantra of Bodhisattva Sangharama)
OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT (Mantra of the Tantric Deity Kalachakra) – wearing the Kalachakra symbol made of gold is also a very powerful protection.
TADYATHA OM ANALÈ ANALÈ KHASAMÈ KHASAMÈ BHAYRÈ BHAYRÈ SAUMA SAUMÈ SARVA BUDDHA ADISHTANA ADISHTÎTÈ SOHA TADYATHA OM USHINISHA SITATAPUTRA HUM PHAT HUM MAMA HUM NÌ SOHA (Mantra of the White Umbrella Goddess – Ushinisha Sitataputra)

Today, allow me to continue talking about the daily mantras that I chant, which you can also adopt for yourself. I know there are a lot, and if you are newbie in chanting mantras you can start with a few first and gradually work your way up to chanting more mantras.
All mantras are protective, but like the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, some mantras have a special characterization. Some of the well-known protective mantras are the Mantra of Buddha Amitabha, Mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani and the Mantra of Bodhisattva Sangharama. But of course, Vajrapani Bodhisattva and Sangharama Bodhisattva are also known for business, money, career, financial and wealth growth, especially Vajrapani Bodhisattva. The many people who have the Vajrapani Ruel or the readers of this blog would know that by now.
If you are a regular reader of my blog, you would know already that I always take the stance that one should protect oneself first before enhancing one’s luck. But with mantras, you automatically do both. That’s the beauty of it.
Now, allow me to share with you other protective mantras that I chant everyday!
These mantras are the following:
OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT (Mantra of Tantric Deity Kalachakra) – the Kalachakra symbol is one of the most powerful protective symbols in the Buddhist tradition. It actually consists of the 10 – syllable symbolic script compressed together. However, when chanting it’s mantra, you OH AH HUM, so that one cleanse oneself first of negative karma before invoking the protection from the powerful Tantric Deity Kalachakra. Simply wearing a Kalachakra will certainly protect you from both physical and esoteric harm. But chanting the mantra daily will also imbibe you with the same amount of protection, and having both will certainly double or event triple it’s protective effect. Aside from that chanting or wearing its symbol will also protect you from negative energies that may prevent you from achieving your utmost financial or wealth potential.
This is a Kalachakra Pendant designed by Lillian Too. She has included some mandala sands inside the pendant to make it more potent. I personally love this pendant and has one that is made of white gold. The Kalachakra Symbol is a powerful protection symbol. It is actually ten syllable mantra compressed into one symbol. The mantra is HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. However, it is usually chanted with OM AH HUM thus making the complete mantra as OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. It is because off this that for the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, I decided to put the symbolic script OM AH HUM on top of Kalachakra Symbol.
NAMO SAPTANAM SAMYAKSAM BUDDHA KOTINAM TADYATHA OM CHALE CHULE CHUNDI SOHA (Mantra of Bodhisattva Cundi Avalokitesvara / Bodhisattva Chundi Avalokitesvara) – Cundi Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (also spelled as Chundi Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva) is another manifestation of Bodhisattva Kuan Yin or Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. Cundi Avalokitesvara is sometime called Cundi Kuan Yin (Cundi Guan Yin). Bodhisattva Chundi Avalokitesvara is usually depicted with 18 arms with various implements. Chanting the mantra of Bodhisattva Cundi Avalokitesvara will provide you with a protection from business and political problems. It will be great that this mantra be chanted to help protect you from office politics and also hostile business atmosphere. The mantra is also spelled NAMO SAPTANAM SAMYAKSAM BUDDHA KOTINAM TADYATHA OM CALE CULE CUNDI SOHA.
OM BHRUM SOHA OM AMARITA AYUR DADAY SOHA (Mantra of Buddha Namgyalma) – Namgyalma Buddha is another Buddha that is considered as a very powerful protector. Chanting the mantra daily will ensure that you are always free from danger. The mantra is sometimes spelled as OM BHRUM SOHA OM AMARITA AYUR DADE SOHA or OM BHRUM SOHA OM AMARITA AYUR DADI SOHA. Daday/Dade/Dadi is pronounced as ‘the – die’.
TADYATHA OM ANALÈ ANALÈ KHASAMÈ KHASAMÈ BHAYRÈ BHAYRÈ SAUMA SAUMÈ SARVA BUDDHA ADISHTANA ADISHTÎTÈ SOHA TADYATHA OM USHINISHA SITATAPUTRA HUM PHAT HUM MAMA HUM NÌ SOHA (Mantra of the White Umbrella Goddess – Ushinisha Sitataputra) – Chanting this mantra will provide one with long life and good health. It prevents accidents and help prevents you from falling ill. It does protect one from evil or negative energies.
NAMO WEI TUO PU SA (Mantra of Bodhisattva Wei Tuo) – Wei Tuo Bodhisattva is a Bodhisattva known for protective the dharma and the sutras. If you are a student of dharma, chanting the mantra of Wei Tuo Bodhisattva will block the negative forces that might want to prevent you from being a serious dharma student. Chanting the mantra will also help protect you from esoteric harm.

One of the most common questions that people ask me is what mantra to chant for specific things. However, I would like to state that if you chant mantras only in time of need, then you are not fully utilizing the power of mantras. I agree that there are mantras or combination mantras that one can chant in specific time of need. But mantras should be treated like vitamins. You have to ‘take’ it everyday so you develop resistance to negative energies or negative chi. Taking it at the time of need might not be very swift.
So the next question is what mantra to chant everyday. Today allow me to share with you the mantras that I chant everyday. Some of the mantras in the list were mantras that my Guru Lama told me to chant, the others are from various Buddhist monks or nuns, and the others are those that I felt I needed to chant everyday. You can come out with your own list, but these are find are very powerful when chanted everyday.
MANTRAS OF THE 3 MAIN BUDDHAS OF OUR TIME:
The 3 Main Buddhas of Our Time. The one in the center is Shakyamuni Buddha, (left side) Amitabha Buddha, (right side) Medicine Buddha.
NAMO AMITUOFO & OM AMI DEWA HRIH (Mantra of Buddha Amitabha) – Amitabha Buddha is one of the 3 main Buddhas of our time. Amitabha used to be human eons and eons ago. When Gautama Siddhartha or Shakyamuni Buddha (Sakyamuni Buddha) was about to reach enlightenment, it was Amitabha Buddha who sent the most powerful Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva Vajrapani, to protect Sakyamuni Buddha. His mantra is very good for protection and over – all auspiciousness. Normally, when a person is about to passed away, Pureland Buddhist and Zen Buddhist will chant his mantra so that the person will be reborn in the Pure Land, which is Amitabha’s dwelling place that can be akin to Heaven.
NAMO PEN SHI SI CHIA MONI FO & OM MUNI MUNI MAHAY MUNI YE SOHA (Mantra of Buddha Shakyamuni) – Sakyamuni Buddha is the Historical Buddha because he is a Buddha who lived during our time. To draw parallelism, he is like Jesus Christ, who became a human being. Although Buddhism under Buddha Sakyamuni started about 500 – 2000 years before Christianity did. Chanting his mantra, will help you attain enlightenment faster and will also provide wisdom. Also it will help you understand the Dharma(s) faster.
NAMO XIAO TSAI YEN SHOW YAW SHI LIO LI KUANG DRU LIE or TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA (Mantra of Medicine Buddha) – Medicine Buddha is the only Buddha amongst the three that is a Celestial Buddha. Meaning he is the only Buddha that has never assumed a human form. As the name implies, chanting his mantra will help cure diseases and prevent illnesses or provide you with health luck. However, what most people don’t know is chanting his mantra will also provide protection from accidents and will also provide wealth luck or financial luck. You can also read all the other posts about Medicine Buddha to know the benefits of chanting of Medicine Buddha.
(If you can only chant three mantras a day, please make sure you chant their mantras.)
