Do We Really Need Amulets? And Why Are REAL Amulets so Pricey?

Published Enero 31, 2017 by jptan2012

I’m a strong advocate of real amulets and a firm believer of one. In fact, a lot of times amulets has become my ‘security blanket’, something that I really need to be able to help me go through my day or week. In fact, last 2016 I greatly relied on amulets to protect myself from bad the effects of the bad stars.

But the question is whether do we really need amulets and why are real amulets so pricey?

Allow me to answer the first question first. Do we really need amulets?

To answer that question allows me to share you the story of somebody who may be familiar already to my readers. BM is a reader who became a friend. She is successful and regardless of what happens she seems always at peace. She may get frazzled a little but it doesn’t really last long. I have featured BM on this blog several times and it would be nice if you read some of the articles that I have written about her.

BM is successful, rich, businesswoman and sure enough she has the Vajrapani Ruel(1), the Surangama Mantra Amulet(1), the Illness Suppression Amulet(1), the Traditional Sutra Amulets(1) and a whole lot more. But truth be told, if you were to ask me what are the causes of her success, I wouldn’t put the use of amulets and Feng Shui as top.

So what do I think are the causes of her success?

First, her spirituality. I will not describe her as religious. At least, not in the sense of the word on how we describe it. She goes to church everyday, she hear mass everyday, she prays the rosary and do novenas everyday. In fact, she prays the rosary more than once everyday. And yes to some extent she can be described as religious, but she is really more than that. She is spiritual. Religion for her goes much more deeper that the essence of the word. And you know what is really fascinating about her? She never or seldom prays for herself. Her prayers are always for other people. With or without problems she goes to church and says her prayers, maybe even more so when everything is good. This is I think is the first ingredient of her success.

Second, she has a good heart and is very compassionate. She is compassionate; many times she has shared with me whether directly or indirectly how it is to be truly compassionate. And she really has a good heart. I know she gives to charity only because there are times that it is unavoidable for her to share it with me, which is done in the process of sharing with me some lessons. A truly compassionate person will always be blessed.

Third, she works really hard. She is intelligent, but more than that she works really hard. When I went to see her, one of her staff told me that her boss, BM, is really hardworking. In fact, she rarely goes home before sunset.

I think those are the main ingredients of her success. But more than her success she has a good family life also and I can see her husband is still ‘madly’ in love with her. I haven’t really had a long interaction with her children, but they seem to be respectful children. Mind you, they should already be in their rebellious stage.

The amulets for her are simply just an added protection or enhancer, and it is not the main ingredient of her good life. In a way, the amulets are simply an added sugar.

Note: Remember that Feng Shui consists of Heaven’s Luck, Man’s Luck and Earth’s Luck!

Allow me to share something else with you. The Buddhist monks or nuns rarely carry with them any amulets, aside from the powerful protective symbol Kalachakra. While I know that the Dalai Lama, and the Karmapa, while escaping the Chinese government did carry an amulet they seldom carry one all the time. The Dalai Lama carried an unknown amulet, and the Karmapa is said to have carried a Vajrapani Ruel(2) with him. But other than that, Buddhist monks and nuns don’t carry amulets with them, or if they do it is limited to one piece only. But, of course, most of them do meditations and chanting of mantras and reciting of sutras and do various rituals more than half of their day, everyday!

So to answer the question whether does we really need amulets, my response would be NO. It helps. It helps a lot. For some people and in some circumstances it may be essential, but if we get to the bottom of it, if we have a strong relationship with the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas, or Taoist Gods, or for Christians to your Lord, or for Islam’s to Allah then my answer is no. There is no denying that amulets like the Vajrapani Ruel(3) has helped a lot of people, but there are people who have survive without it. At the end of the day, have a strong faith, be truly compassionate, and work hard both for your career and for your relationships, and you’ll find things will be going smoothly.

Now, then the second question is why are real amulets really pricey?

First, take note of the keyword real. Real powerful amulets are seldom massed produce. Sure they can make more than 1,000 pieces per batch, it is seldom made out of a machine. They are always made by hand. A real amulet is made several days and will be mostly likely involves being made inside a temple, in front of Buddha or a Bodhisattva and should include some relics has part of the ingredient (like the Vajrapani Ruel4) or at the very least being consecrated in front of a relic. It is definitely made by a trained Buddhist Monk and cannot be made by ordinary practitioner. Sometimes, it will include some rituals outside the temple, but will definitely include a process being done inside the temple.

The Jatukam involves some rituals by the sea and mountains. And has a relic from the temple being included in the process. They make several thousand pieces by the batch and sometime take awhile before they can make the next batch. The Vajrapani Ruel(5) involves a relic of a high lama, and can never be made without it, so the last time it was made was a little more than half – a – century ago. This batch that we have now has about a little more than 1,000 pieces but it is considered limited because we don’t know when it is going to be made again. And it can only be made in certain places in Tibet.

The Illness Suppression Amulet(2), and the others are not as difficult to make, but still they are made or consecrated only by a lama that is recognized to have the capabilities of invoking the energies of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas to make the amulet holy and become an extension of the Buddha or Bodhisattva whose essence is being invoked.

Furthermore, while making it is customary to offer a fruits, vegetables, flowers, incense, and oil lamps. So when acquiring an amulet, this is what you pay for. But that’s not what makes it pricey.

It is also customary to give a ‘donation’ to the monk who made it. But this is a misnomer because in truth the money doesn’t go to the one who made the amulet but rather it goes to the temple, for the building of additional temples or halls, for images of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or for feeding the monks.

In the case, of the Vajrapani Ruel(6), Illness Suppression Amulet(3), the Avatamsaka Amulets(1) the Traditional Sutra Amulets(2) and other amulets, the money goes to the offerings of fruits, incense, vegetables, flowers, oil lamps, etc. But more than that it goes to acquiring of the image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva that goes to a hall in a temple that is being built in India (for the Vajrapani Ruel(7) a big chunk of the money goes back to Tibet in helping the people there who are oppressed by the Chinese government) and it becomes a perpetual offering of the person who acquired the amulet.

These are the things that make a real amulet quite pricey.

But again strictly speaking the amulets are not for sale. To understand this better please read my post called: THE EVOLUTION OF ACQUIRING AN AMULET.

The Bazi Is Never Linear!

Published Oktubre 19, 2016 by jptan2012

One of the most common questions I usually get is whether Bazi Chart or Paht Chee Chart of a person determines the luck or life of person as if it is set in stone.

After more than 700 articles, it is quite difficult to determine whether this is something that I have written or even simply mentioned before. But I believe it is worth writing about it now given that this is the most common question that I received from my readers and even friends.

The Bazi or Paht Chee is determined by getting the exact birthdate of a person, from it people who knows how to compute a Bazi will be able to determine what kind of life a person has or will have. Please note though that being familiar with Feng Shui doesn’t necessarily mean that one is also familiar with the Paht Chee, it is something much more difficult to learn. But for one to be able to do personal Feng Shui really well, one has to analyze the Bazi of a person.

One of the earliest article that I have written about is clarifying that our luck consists of mainly three things, and they are: HEAVEN’S LUCK, EARTH’S LUCK, and MAN’S LUCK.

Heaven’s Luck is basically determined by our birthdate or Paht Chee. This is who are our parents, siblings, where we are born, when we are born, personality and character. This is something that is basically what life has thrown to us. This is also basically karma.

Earth’s Luck is basically Feng Shui.

Man’s Luck is basically what we do with what is thrown to us. This is us. How we handle things, how we work things out, how we react to things.

If you’ll notice, Man’s Luck is in a way still dependent on Heaven’s Luck in a way that our personality is determined by Heaven’s Luck. But at the same time, these are the things that we can control. For example, you can be born in a poor family, but if you strive hard you might have a better life. True it might be more difficult for you but it certainly is not impossible.

Sometimes, these lucks mix. For example, I always say that the first line of defense is maintaining a positive outlook in life. When we consciously do that, that is man’s luck, the effect is Earth’s Luck.

Feng Shui is Earth’s Luck that needless to say also has an effect on Man’s Luck.

Displaying an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deities or Gods is made with a conscious effort by man, so in a way it is Man’s Luck. Then using as a cure it becomes Earth’s Luck but the help that comes in is basically Heaven’s Luck.

Using an amulet is also basically a combination of all three, although is predominantly Heaven’s Luck followed by Earth’s Luck.

Going back to the question whether a Bazi or Paht Chee is set in stone, and using the above argument, it becomes clear that it is not. However, things indicated in the Bazi or Paht Chee is never linear. It is not about a single path. There is one clear major path, but good Feng Shui students will tell you that there are minor paths.

Allow me to share with you the story about the mother of a reader. When I checked the chart of the mother, it shows that she will have an accident that may kill her. Most likely, it is man made accident, something violent and caused by a person with ill intent.

It is a strong indication in the chart meaning it is something that is surely will happen. This was confirmed both by my Feng Shui teacher and my Guru Lama. As a remedy, my reader got a Vajrapani Ruel and a gold Kalachakra pendant for her. Told them to be ready also because with the help of Feng Shui teacher we were able to narrow down the possible to within two weeks of the month September in 2015.

My reader’s mom, during daytime is usually left at home by herself. One day, her grandchild’s school was suspended, so it was an unusual day because somebody was with her in the house. This was in September. While the grandchild was playing he saw a man, or two men (he can’t be sure) (the grandchild was only 8 years old at that time) trying to break in to their house. Frightened he screamed for her grandma. Her grandma in a rush to go to her grandchild fell on the stairs and broke her leg.

What was indicated in her Bazi didn’t happen, at least not to the level it was indicated because with the Kalachakra and the Vajrapani Ruel, used as an Earth’s Luck interfere. The grandmother or mother of my reader still had to go through some accident, but not serious enough as indicated in her chart because she was protected.

Another story is about a man who according to his Bazi, which was reviewed by several Feng Shui masters – not less than 7 of them, indicates that he will grow up poor and as a meek employee all throughout his life, meaning he will never become a person of significance in the corporate world. Because of this his parents and later the guy himself did everything to turn this around. His parents started with Feng Shui (Earth’s Luck) and continuously plead the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas (Heaven’s Luck), and then when the man grew up, he continued to do both plus he worked really hard. Now the man lives a comfortable life.

So the answer is Bazi or Paht Chee is never linear.

The Promotion Ladder and Fatherhood Through the ‘Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant’ – Another Personal Testimony of a Reader

Published Setyembre 7, 2013 by jptan2012

I know, I know, it’s about a personal testimony of a reader again about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT(1). But as mentioned in one of my posts about the personal testimony of a reader about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT(2), I have been receiving a lot of testimonies about the pendant, and it has inspired me to write again and more than that it makes me happy that I’m able to share these stories, the personal testimonies about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT(3), with my other readers.

Today, I will like to share again one such story about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT(4). BS is a 34-year-old corporate man who has been married for 6 years now. He first wrote to me several months back, but I was not able to answer his email right away. He then emailed again the second time. This time I got to read his email.promotion

According to BS, he has been with his current job for several years now. He has been promoted once and seems to have been stuck on his current position. Somebody younger and relatively newer in the company has been promoted and he is now contemplating whether he should leave his company. The pay is still good but his superiors seem to have not notice his hard work and his contributions to the company. This is giving him extreme dissatisfaction and also some sort of insecurity.

On the home front, BS and his wife are also longing to have a baby. They’ve been married for 6 years and they have always wanted to have a baby right away, however, descendant luck seems too elusive as well. Furthermore, this is creating some sort of a friction between them because BS’s parents would often call them up and sort of blame BS’s wife for not being able to conceive.father

Both BS and his wife have consulted doctors but test shows that they are able to conceive so they don’t really know what’s wrong with them.

To be honest, BS and I corresponded at a time that I was quite busy so I really wasn’t able to delve into his problem. Fortunately though I was able to send him the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT(5) that he requested for.

To make the long story short, according to BS, within 3 weeks after wearing the pendant, he was told that he was being promoted. It’s not an ordinary promotion because his promotion, according to BS, was unprecedented in their company. He was being promoted 2 ranks high. Meaning he’ll be ‘skipping’ a level. Something that their company hasn’t done before.

On top of that approximately 3 months after getting the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, his wife found out that she’s pregnant(6)!

When I first designed the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT(7) for myself and for my family, I never imagined that the pendant would be such a wonderful vehicle of blessings for a lot of people. I know that there are those who don’t feel its blessings right away, and there are even more people who only felt a subtle change in themselves or in the way things are going around them. But miracles whether small or big, for me are still miracles.
