Chant – A – Mantra (14): It’s Not All About Amulets!

Published Setyembre 27, 2017 by jptan2012

chanting mantraOne of the things that I hate most when writing about amulets is that I know that it is not for everybody. Some people simply can’t afford the amount of exchange of energies needed to acquire an amulet.

Note: To understand why there is an stipulated amount of donation for an amulet, please read the article – THE EVOLUTION OF ACQUIRING AN AMULET.

But at this point, I would like to share that there are people who have gotten some of the amulets for ‘free’ only because they already have made the ‘exchange of energies’ through their good deeds or sometimes they’re simply lucky to have good karma to receive it from people who are willing to share amulets with them.

Recently, my Guru Lama released a powerful wealth amulet called VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET; he discovered this amulet about 20 years ago in a copy of a sacred tantric scripture or book called “Maha Biddhuya Vaircona Abihidisambohi Vikurvitadthisnana Vaipulya Sudrentaha Raja Nama Dharma – Paryaya”. There were a lot of request for the amulet and now three of those who requested said that they could already see the progress and betterment of their financial future. However, as my Guru Lama said, he can only afford to make this wealth amulet once a year, and so he can makes it by batches, the first batch of which is fast running out. But for those who won’t be able to request the amulet do not despair, because it is not all about amulet.

Vaisravana Dzambhala Wealth Amulet

The Vaisavana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet has the consecrated copies of the mantras of King Vaisravana of the Four Heavenly Kings and the mantras of the Five Dzambhalas. Furthermore, there are some special ingredients in powder form that are included to add to the potency of the amulet. Before it is sealed it is furthered consecrated on the image of The Four Heavenly Kings. It is placed in a metal case, not just for its durability and protection but according to the Tantric Buddhist Scripture book where Guru Lama got the instructions for this amulet, it has to be placed in cylindrical metal case to symbolize continuity and stability.

I have a reader who is quite famous in Davao, in this blog she is simply called BM, and I have written about her a number of times. Although she has several amulets, she has had a good life. Why? It is simply because she has a good heart and is a very kind hearted, compassionate person. I have written about her several times and you can find the link below. I suggest you take time out to read about her and the lessons that she has imparted to my readers thru me.

I also have another reader who at one time really wants the Vajrapani Ruel(1), however, she simply can’t afford the stipulated donation or exchange of energy for the Vajrapani Ruel(2). Real and effective amulets can really get quite pricey. And so I told her to chant the mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani – OM VAJRAPANI HUM. She did it under deep meditation everyday, and it worked for her, although in the end she still opted to get the Vajrapani Ruel(3).

Amulets can hasten things and it will really help because amulets when properly done and are consecrated then further blessed by high lamas serves as an extension of a Buddha or Bodhisattva. They sort of ‘lock’ a part of the energy of the Buddha or Bodhisattva. But we need not despair for we can still directly tap into these energies. How do we do that? Simply by chanting their mantras.

For the Vajrapani Ruel(4), one can simply chant OM VAJRAPANI HUM 108x a day.

Vajrapani Ruel

The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It’s important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless. The Vajrapani Ruel itself is only about 1 to 2 inches and it varies from one ruel to another.

For the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet(2) one should chant the mantra of King Vaisravana of the Four Heavenly Kings 1,080 times or 10 full malas. One mala is 108 times. The mantra is OM VAISRAVANA YE SOHA.

It should be followed by the mantras of the Five Dzambhala (also spelled as Jambala, Dzambala, Jambhala, Zambhala, Zambala). Each mantra should be chanted 108 times.

Here the mantras of the Five Dzambhalas:

  • Green Dzambhala: OM KARMA DZAMBHALA AH SOHA
  • White Dzambhala: OM PADMO KRODA ARYA DZAMBHALA HRIH DAYA HUM PHAT
  • Yellow Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE SOHA
  • Red Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE DANAM MEDIHI HRIH DAKINI DZAMBALA SAMBHARA SOHA
  • Blue/Black Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE BASHU DHARINI SOHA

NOTE: FOR THESE MANTRAS TO BE EFFECTIVE AS AN AMULET, ONE SHOULD RECITE IT UNDER DEEP MEDITATION, A LEVEL WHEREIN ONE IS ALMOST NO LONGER AWARE OF ONE’S SURROUNDINGS.

The Creation of Wealth: Is Wanting to Get Wealthy A Sin and A Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet Miraculous Story Shared by My Guru Lama!

Published Setyembre 1, 2017 by jptan2012

wealthEncountering new amulets is always a unique and wonderful experience. Being one of the instruments to make the amulet available to some people is even a bigger blessing. Just recently another powerful wealth amulet was introduced in this blog, the amulet is called the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet, and while it is a fairly new amulet to be read about, it is technically an old amulet since the instruction of it was found by my Guru Lama about 20 years ago in a Tantric Buddhist Scripture, whose original copy is said to have been written by high lama in Tibet approximately 1,200 years ago. This means, the amulet itself has been existing at the very least 1,200 years or maybe even more. There were several initiation for an amulet in the said Tantric Buddhist Scripture, and several are in use now, however, as to why this particular amulet has not been regularly used, nobody knows.

In the post called THE VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET: AN INTRODUCTION TO A VERY POWERFUL WEALTH AMULET, I wrote about how Guru Lama in a deep meditative state discovered the holy book (a copy of the original one) where the instruction and ritual in making this amulet was written. He also made this amulet for the first time for one of his Sangha member who at that time lives in poverty but is now one of the famous rich Singaporean businessmen.

Although that was the first time Guru Lama made the amulet, it was definitely not the last. From time to time, he will make the amulet for some people who badly need it. And today, I will share one of the stories whom Guru Lama has blessed by making this amulet for that person.

Chun Qiet (CQ) is a Malaysian – Chinese who was born in Singapore. His parents are both devout Buddhist and are Sangha members of the temple where Guru Lama serves as Abbot. His family would always go to temple and Guru Lama knows the family quite well. One day, tragedy strike, CQ’s family had an accident and both of CQ’s parents died.

CQ was left with his father’s business. But CQ was only 19 then and he is not familiar with the business. An uncle came to help, but after 4 years they soon found out that he is not capable of running his brother’s business and suggested to CQ to just sell the business. Since CQ is close to Guru Lama, he sought him out and asked for blessings. CQ confessed that if he doesn’t sell the business he might be left with nothing. He might have to sell their house. But at the same time he confessed that he doesn’t want to sell his father’s business because he feels that it is his father’s legacy.

Guru Lama doesn’t agree that CQ’s father’s legacy is the business because he believes the CQ’s father’s legacy is CQ himself, who has proven himself to be a responsible and good young man.

After that conversation that Guru Lama had with CQ, he decided to make the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet for CQ.

Note: That was not the second time Guru Lama made the amulet; he has made it for several other people.

After receiving the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet, CQ was approached by an old friend of his father to ask about his welfare and the business. CQ opened up about his dilemma, and surprisingly this ‘uncle’ offered to invest in the business so CQ can help bring it back up, but on top of that he offered to help in the business. CQ’s uncle was initially reluctant because he was afraid that his brother’s friend would just take over the business. But somehow CQ realized that he got nothing to lose and he decided to just plunge into it, besides he felt that the amulet would help him.

Well, it did. That was 14 years ago. CQ is now again the sole owner of the business he inherited from his father. He has since made the business bigger. His father’s only guided him in the business for 3 years after which he gradually left the business until it was made official thru legal papers again 7 years after he invested and ‘meddled’ in the business. CQ has since then ‘bought him out’ of the business again, obviously this was done amicably. CQ firmly believes that it was because of the amulet that he was fortunate enough to be reacquainted with his father’s friend.

Vaisravana.

King Vaisravana a powerful Buddhist wealth god is the chief of the Four Heavenly Kings.

Guru Lama explains that the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is not an amulet that gives you a quick rich blessing. Although, he has seen this happened also. However, he said the main effect of the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is protection; protection that you don’t lose your wealth or money, but it is also helps you create your wealth by leading you to the right people and to the right sources. Guru Lama explains that in “Maha Biddhuya Vaircona Abihidisambohi Vikurvitadthisnana Vaipulya Sudrentaha Raja Nama Dharma – Paryaya”, the Tantric Buddhist Scripture or book where he found the guideline for the initiation of the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet, it clearly states that this particular wealth amulet is an amulet that helps gather wealth sources for you, then helps you actualize your wealth, after which it will stabilize it and makes it a continuous process to help your wealth grow bigger and bigger. Thus it is imperative that the container is a cylindrical metal to represent continuity and stability. What does this mean? It means it is unique in such a way that it doesn’t pull out from your bazi or karma or own luck the money, but rather it creates wealth luck for you. Other amulets like the Vajrapani Ruel, which is mainly a protective amulet but has a very high percentage of wealth luck manifesting features, will bring wealth luck to you if you have wealth luck base on your bazi or karma. Our life are pre – determined, but this doesn’t mean that it is only pre – determined on a single path, it is pre – determined with various paths, the normal is 3 – 4 paths, sometimes more, but there are times that it is only 2. However, admittedly there is a single path is more dominant than all the other paths. And what the Vajrapani Ruel and the other amulet does is get your wealth luck from all the other paths. The Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is unique in such a way that even if there is no wealth luck in all the ‘paths’ of your life, it creates it for you. So in a way it changes your wealth destiny. So this amulet is very good for people who absolutely don’t have wealth luck. Nevertheless, for those who have wealth luck already but are unable to tap into it, the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet helps pull those luck for you, make it attainable and then creates a new path for you so that it becomes sustainable and continuous, it is not a “one time, big time” thing.

Inside the metal container are the consecrated mantras of King Vaisravana, the chief of the Four Heavenly Kings, and a known wealth god, with the consecrated mantras of the Yaksa (also spelled as Yaksha) wealth gods: Green Dzambhala, White Dzambhala, Yellow Dzambhala, Red Dzambhala, and Blue Dzambhala/Black Dzambhala!

Note: Dzambhala is also spelled as Dzambala, Jambhala, Jambala, Zambhala, Zambala.

The mantras were printed under strict Mahayana guidelines found in the Tantric Buddhist book and then consecrated under strict Mahayana – Hinayana initiations. It was then sealed under special prayers and mantras that a high lama like Guru Lama can chant.

Some of you might be asking why create a wealth amulet. That is because whether we accept it or not we are living in a time where there is a lot of uncertainty and money problems or financial problems seems to becoming more common. We all want and need financial blessings or money blessings and there is nothing wrong with it. It boils down to the intent and purpose; those are the things that determine the goodness or evilness of having money.

Majority of my readers are Christians, which is ironic because a lot of those attack my site as evil are also Christians, and I’m sure a lot of you will be asking whether isn’t this bad because ‘money is the root of evil’.

Money is not the root of evil. Money is simply that money, it’s a tool. It’s just like a computer or an iron or a chair or car, how we use it makes it evil or good. We are the root of evil, but we are also definitely the root of goodness. What we make of it determines whether it becomes evil or not.

To further answer whether money is bad, or wanting to be wealthy is bad or not, allow me to share something with you.

There is a silent but big number of theologist and scholars who believes that Christianity actually evolved from Buddhism. I have written about this in the past but to briefly put it, Christianity existed about 500 to 1000 years after Buddhism. And the similarities are simply astounding. For example, the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit are very similar to the concept of the Holy Trinity of Buddhism which consists of Amitabha Buddha (who even is not considered as Shakyamuni Buddha’s father is actually an ‘older’ Buddha and was the one who sent Bodhisattva Vajrapani to protect Sakyamuni Buddha on the eve of his full enlightenment), Buddha Sakyamuni (who is the Buddha of our world, who became human first and it has to be noted, if there is a tempting of Jesus Christ, there was also a tempting of Sakyamuni Buddha on the eve of his enlightenment), and Bhaysajyaguru Buddha or better known as Medicine Buddha (which is the only celestial Buddha, a Buddha that didn’t assume a human physical form). As you can see one can see that here this three Buddhas is similar to the Holy Trinity of the Christians.

Furthermore, the concept of the Holy Mother or the Virgin Mother can be akin to Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara who became Kuan Yin Bodhisattva. Even the white dress with the veil is very much similar. Not to mention her ascension is very similar to the ascension story not of Bodhisattva Kuan Yin but rather of Buddha Sakyamuni’s earthly mother.

Note: Bodhisattva Kuan Yin is also called, as already mentioned Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and the other names are Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva, Quan Shi Yin Bodhisattva, Quan Yin Bodhisattva, Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva, Guan Yin Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva Chenrezig, or Kannon Bodhisattva.

Not only that, the concept of Second Coming is very similar to the concept of the coming of the next Buddha, which is Maitreya Buddha. I can go on and on about the other similarities but I think that is a topic for another post.

I say this because I find it surprising the despite of the many similarities, one of the major difference is how one looks at money or wealth. Most Christians whether Catholic or otherwise are not comfortable talking about wanting to have more money or increasing their wealth. That is despite of the fact churches are quite rich. In Buddhism, there is nothing wrong in wanting more money or having the desire to increase wealth. In fact, Buddhism teaches that wealthy people have good karma, it may or may not be from this life but it can be from past life or past lives. Also, being wealthy makes it easier to practice Dharma and to become kinder and helpful to other people. I’m not saying that it is a prerequisite, but what I’m saying is that it is a good tool to make oneself become more compassionate and be helpful.

Allow me to share a story that supposedly happened thousand of year ago:

Lama Atisha, the revered lama and Mahasiddha, came across an old man, dying of starvation in Bodghaya. Lama Atisha offered his own flesh, cut from his body, to save the old man. But the old man said, “How can I eat a monk’s flesh?” Lama Atisha felt helpless in the face of this suffering. In Lama Atisha’s moment of despair, Chenrezeig (Guan Yin), the Compassionate One, appeared to Atisha and said, “Out of my eye, will manifest Jambhala, the Buddha of wealth, to help suffering beings. I shall alleviate their poverty so they will not be distracted from practicing the good heart.”

This is just one version of the timeless story of Jambhala, a “wealth deity,” a profoundly simple story that illustrates why wealth is not necessarily the root of all evils. Again, I would like to bring your attention to the statement that says: I SHALL ALLEVIATE THEIR POVERTY SO THEY WILL NOT BE DISTRACTED FROM PRACTICING THE GOOD HEART. For me this is very important.

Note: The use of Buddha of Wealth is debatable whether it was really the term use. However, some scholars argue that sometimes Buddha is use every time there was selfless act done out of extreme compassion.

Buddhism is all about non – materialistic, and I think it’s teaching about wealth and being non – materialistic perfectly compliment each other. If you are wealthy and is non – materialistic then you have practiced or is practicing one of the greatest dharma.

When Jonathan Ciliberto, a famous writer and critic of books especially Buddhist books, reviewed the book “A Shower of Jewels: Deities of Wealth” he wrote that “a lack of money is an obstacle to practice” to dharma or Buddhism. He further stated that, “Poverty itself, can make practice difficult. It is difficult enough to find birth in the precious human realm, our opportunity to practice the Dharma, without adding to suffering with the burden of poverty. One of the great perfections of practice is generosity—helping all sentient being. Instead of thinking of wealth as selfish (or feeling guilt about its accumulation), we should instead consider the Buddhist concept that wealth can be a virtuous means to help others.”

In Christianity or even in the West (generally speaking) there is some stigma attached to the idea of accumulating wealth when discussing spirituality and generosity.

Venerable Zasep Rinpoche, during a teaching at Gaden Choling explained that in eastern countries wealth practice is not frowned upon as it might be in western cultures. (I would like to clarify that eastern here refers to non – Christian countries). He further added that while meditating on and trying to accumulate wealth might be perceived as the opposite of generosity, as always with Buddhist philosophy, it comes down to intention. If the intention is to achieve virtuous deeds like generosity, healing, relieving the suffering of others and oneself, then wealth practice and accumulation is a meritorious deed.

Approximately 1.5 inches in height.

In the book “World of Transformation: Tibetan Art of Wisdom and Compassion”, which was authored by Marilyn Rhie, David Jackson and Robert A.F. Thurman, the father of Hollywood actress Uma Thurman who happens to be a good friend of Dalai Lama and Tibetan Buddhism scholar and professor, it stated that, These deities of prosperity are… benevolent, and are helpful to spiritual people by supporting the educational purpose of life in the Buddhist perspective.”

It makes sense, if we live in poverty and if we constantly look for money for our day to day survival, we won’t be able to progress in our spiritual growth and more importantly we are unable to help other.

The purpose of practicing wealth rituals or wearing or carrying amulets with high wealth effect like the Vajrapani Ruel, Surangama Mantra Amulet or the Traditional Sutra Amulets or wealth amulets like the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet is mainly to provide the means to help oneself and others. Its purpose is not to live a life of luxury but it’s to remove the obstacle to the spiritual practice like eliminating poverty, which is certainly a hindrance.

This reminds me of people like Nanay Socorro Ramos (of the famous National Bookstore) or Bill Gates, or some of my readers like the one in Malaysia or Davao (BM) who despite of being really rich, they maintain a humble and most of all they benefit other people with their wealth. They use their money to help other people.

Now is there anything wrong in wanting to get rich, have money and become wealthy? Well, Buddhism says if the intention is pure, then there is nothing wrong with it.

The Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet: An Introduction to a Very Powerful Wealth Amulet!

Published Agosto 30, 2017 by jptan2012

In my previous post I talked about the Four Heavenly Kings, which are actually Buddhist Gods. If you haven’t read that post, I suggest go and read it first for you to truly understand this post better. Read it by clicking here.

One of the most common concern of people in the past, in the present, and I presume in the future is financial stability. In Buddhism, money is not evil; in fact, one sign of a blessed life is having money. Nevertheless, what we do with the money is what determines evil or good, but that is a topic for another post.

After some discussion, Guru Lama has told me to write about The Four Heavenly Kings and today’s post so that people will know that in the midst of what seems like a worldwide phenomenon of financial problem or struggles, there is still something that we can do so that we don’t get pulled into the mud of financial struggle. In the Philippines, a lot of people are complaining about the continuous weakening of the Philippine peso, and while we can complain and complain, in reality we should all strive to work harder, pray harder, and gather our inner strength to fight this concern.

A famous Feng Shui expert has talked about King Vaisravana or Namtose (Namthose) already, and it is largely because of this also why Guru Lama has said that I should start writing about the Four Heavenly Kings and to write this post, to really put everything in the perspective that he felt it should be written. Note though that this is just how Guru Lama wants it put and that although we don’t know in detail what was said about King Vaisravana, I’m writing it in a way that Guru Lama thinks is the best way to explain it.

Note: The post about the Four Heavenly Kings and this post have both been reviewed first by Guru Lama prior to posting.

Guru Lama felt it is only proper to talk about the Four Heavenly Kings first to disabuse the notion that in Buddhism, our gods are all about money.

In the preceding post about the Four Heavenly Kings, I mentioned that King Vaisravana the head of all the Four Heavenly Gods is wealth god himself, and that he rules over all Yaksas (also spelled as Yaksha), and amongst these Yaksas are the Dzambhalas or the Five Dzambhalas (also spelled as Dzambala, Jambhala, Jambala, Zambala, Zambhala). In this blog, I have already talked about Yellow Dzambhala and White Dzambhala, but as instructed by Guru Lama, allow me to talk about all the 5 Jambhalas again.

First, what are the Jambhalas?

Jambhala (again also spelled as Dzambhala, Dzambala, Jambala, Zambhala, Zambala) is what we call the God of Wealth or Gods of Wealth of the Buddhist. They are known 5 Dzambhala, who are member of the Jewel Family of the Buddhist tradition. Some say that Dzambhalas are manifestations of Bodhisattvas and Buddhas in Yaksha form to help people have a better grasp of their worldly powers. Each Dzambhala has its own mantra to help eliminate poverty and create financial stability.

According to Gyalten Sogdzin Rinpoche Dzambhalas are products of a Bodhisattva’s tears that turn into a Yaksha to aid sentient being to have material and spiritual wealth as well as to help have attain financial stability.

Because in this world, there are all kinds of wrathful and negative emotions or bad spirits, and sometimes they will harm you and other sentient beings, Dzambhala must take on such a wrathful and powerful form to protect us from these harmful spirits and negative karma. Especially, Dzambhala helps us minimize or decrease all misfortunes and obstacles and helps us increase all good fortune and happiness.”

The Five Dzambhalas are Green Dzambhala, Yellow Dzambhala, White Dzambhala, Red Dzambhala, Blue or Black Dzambhala. In Buddhism and Feng Shui as well as Taoism Blue and Black are considered as the same color.

GREEN DZAMBHALAJambala green

  • Is the chief of the 5 Dzambhalas and is said to be the yaksha. He is usually depicted to be standing upon a corpse and holding a mongoose in his left hand and a Kapala (a skull cap) in his right hand. He is usually depicted carrying a jewel producing mongoose in his right hand and has a consort. When depicted as seated, he sits in a vajra position with a Dakini in front of him. His right foot is almost always above a snail and a lotus flower.
  • The mantra of Green Dzambhala is: OM KARMA DZAMBHALA AH SOHA

WHITE DZAMBHALAjambala white

  • Is a Dzambhala who removes suffering from poverty and sickness. He also purifies non – virtuous karmic obstacles, and van averts illness and disaster. White Dzambhala is said to have been born from the right eye of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (Also known or spelled as Chenrezig, Kannon, Quan Yin, Quan Shi Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Kuan Yin), which is also known as the Bodhisattva of Compassion.
  • White Jambhala sits on a snow lion or dragon, and is holding a mongoose in his left hand. The mongoose is said to spit out diamond and other precious items. He also holds a Wealth Banner in his left arm, some Buddhist traditions claims that it is a Victory Banner that he holds. In his right arm is a gold sword.
  • The mantra of White Dzambhala is: OM PADMO KRODA ARYA JAMBALA HRIH DAYA HUM PHAT

YELLOW DZAMBHALAjambala yellow

  • Perhaps the most famous or known Dzambhala of all Dzambhalas. It is said that he is the most powerful of all the Wealth Gods. Yellow Dzambhala can increase good virtues, life span and wisdom. He can also remove poverty with the six realms.
  • A lot of you are familiar with Yellow Dzambhala so I won’t really go into detail about him.
  • The mantra of Yellow Jambhala is: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE SOHA

RED DZAMBHALAjambala red

  • Uniquely, Red Jambhala is the only Dzambhala constantly depicted as practicing with his consort, which is the heavenly mother of wealth that is in – charge of the wealth in the human realm. According to Guru Lama in the olden days, Red Dzambhala is only introduced to the Kings and Emperors, or people with authority or position of power, because the power was then deemed to be only suitable for them for it could attract not only wealth but also fame. It is said that chanting the mantra of Red Dzambhala wealth, fame but it will also gather support of the people. Furthermore, the mantra of Red Jambhala can also attract marital bliss and harmony within the family.
  • The mantra of Red Dzambhala is: OM DZAMBHAL DZALIN DRAYE DHANAM MEDIHI HRIH DAKINI DZAMBHLA SAMBHARA SOHA

BLUE DZAMBHALA / BLACK DZAMBHALAjambala black

  • Is said to have manifested from the waters of the river and gave transmission of generating wealth to king whose kingdom was under extreme financial difficulty. It is said the Blue Jambhala (Black Jambhala) greatly benefits and favors the people who are in extreme poverty if they chant his mantra. It is said that he will purify all bad lucks and obstacles that cause financial problems. He also prevents loss of wealth thru debts and robbery or theft. He can also subdue a human’s ego and eliminate greed.
  • Please note that one should not confuse Black Dzambhala with that of Bodhisattva Vajrapani.
  • The mantra of Blue Dzambhala/Black Dzambhala is: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE BASHU DHARINI SOHA

It is inevitable for me to explain, as instructed by Guru Lama, for me to explain and talk about the Four Heavenly Kings first and to introduce all the God of Wealth – Dzambhalas, before I can really talk about and share with you the good news about the powerful Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet.

Some might consider this as a fairly young and unknown amulet, but according to Guru Lama, this perception is false, for the instructions on how to make this amulets are found in Tantric Buddhist Scriptures.

About two decades ago, when Guru Lama was much younger but who is already heading a temple as it’s Chief Abbot, he was approached by one his Sangha member (temple goer) who goes to the temple, this person is a devout Buddhist and is one of the most compassionate person Guru Lama has met. He will seldom complain, but because he goes to temple almost everyday, Guru Lama would talk to him a lot, and from there he realized that this man has lived a difficult life mostly because he was in poverty. Guru Lama seldom notices how a person dresses, it is as if he sees through the dress or clothes and will just see the person devoid of his financial status in life. But according to Guru Lama, one day this man can’t bear the hardship much longer because he was unable to pay for his wife’s hospitalization and medicines that he just cried and cried while talking to Guru Lama. According to Guru Lama, it is as if he was awakened and notices that the man’s clothes are worn out and to put it simply and directly, he does look poor.

Guru Lama set out to help the man and raise funds for him. However, he knew that this was a temporary help. And so he meditated to know what he could do for this man. In his meditative state he saw a book fell off from one of the shelves in their temple library, which according to Guru Lama was much smaller than it is now. He knew right away that he has been guided by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to check out this book. He remembers clearly which book ‘fell off from the shelf’ in his meditative state and so he went to check this book. Much to his dismay it was a Tantric Buddhist Scripture that can only be read by senior lamas. He was already a senior lama at that time, but a Tantric Buddhist Scripture is one of the most difficult books or books in Buddhism. But since he knew the answers could be found in those pages, he set out to read it.

Three weeks after he came across the instruction on how to make the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet, and knew immediately that this what the Sangha member needs, and so following all the rules and strict guidelines, he set out to make one.

When he gave the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet, which is an amulet that has to be consecrated under the Four Heavenly Kings (not just King Vaisravana) and the Five Dzambhalas, he gave him the instruction as mentioned in the Tantric Buddhist Scripture book he read, to chant the mantras of the three of the Four Heavenly Kings three times, and chant the mantra of King Vaisravana 49 times, and each of the mantra of the Five Dzambhalas 108 times.

The Sangha member followed the instruction and the rest soon became history. To this day, that Sangha member remains to be one of the wealthiest famous people in Singapore. Throughout all these years he continues to wear the Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet.

I’m sharing this with you because Guru Lama, after long contemplation, which started early this year, has decided to make this amulet available to the public. The Vajrapani Ruel is almost running out, meaning there are only a few pieces left, and Guru Lama felt that in these uncertain times, especially with the extreme financial stability or volatility, we can all use some help from this powerful amulet called Vaisravana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet. It is placed in a metal case, not just for its durability and protection but according to the Tantric Buddhist Scripture book where Guru Lama got the instructions for this amulet, it has to be placed in cylindrical metal case to symbolize continuity and stability.

Like any other amulets, the stipulated donation for this amulet will go to the feeding of the monks, building of temples, or making an image of a Buddha or a Bodhisattva. To understand further on acquiring an amulet, I suggest you read the post – The Evolution of Acquiring An Amulet.

The Four Heavenly Kings: Getting to Know Four Powerful Buddhist Gods that Helps Bestow Wealth, Success, Peace, and Protection.

Published Agosto 30, 2017 by jptan2012

Today is a very good day and an exciting day (please note that actual writing and date of posting are usually different from each other) for me and in a way for my regular readers and believers of Feng Shui and Buddhism it should be a good day for you also, because today is the day I was told by my Guru Lama to share with you about the Four Heavenly Kings.four heavenly kings

The Four Heavenly Kings has been featured in numerous Buddhist Sutras, one of which is in The Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva; Earth Store Bodhisattva is also known as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva or Di Zhang Pu Sa. In this particular sutra, Sakyamuni Buddha (The Historical Buddha) directly addressed the Four Heavenly Kings to help propagate the Sutra of the Past Vows of Earth Store Bodhisattva. They were also prominently mentioned in the highly revered Golden Light Sutra.

It is said that those who recite the Golden Light Sutra will be protected by the Four Heavenly Kings themselves. Furthermore, those who recite and keep the Lotus Sutra will also be protected by the Four Heavenly Kings.

From this we can see that the Four Heavenly Kings are powerful protector Buddhist gods, however, as you read on you will that they don’t only protect us but they each also have a specific function which is different from each other.

At this point, I would like to clarify that the Four Heavenly Kings are gods in the Buddhist pantheon; it means they are not yet Bodhisattvas or Buddhas, and they serve the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas.

Again, The Four Heavenly Kings are Buddhist gods, each of who watches over their assigned cardinal direction of the world. The cardinal directions are East, West, North, and South. In Chinese they are originally known or called as “Fēng Tiáo Yǔ Shùn” (風調雨順), which literally translates to “Good climate”, but in the translation in the Chinese version of sutras they are called “Sì Dà Tiānwáng” (四大天王) which means “Four Great Heavenly Kings”.four heavenly kings 2

In most Chinese Buddhist Temples, one will normally see the THE HEAVENLY KINGS HALL. This is usually one of the first most majestic halls one will see.

The Four Heavenly Kings resides in Mt. Sumeru, a celestial and cosmic mountain where the heavens are. They are also the protector of the world and they fight evil, each of the 4 Heavenly Kings are able to command a legion of supernatural creatures to protect the Dharma or people who follow the Dharma.

Each of the Four Heavenly Kings serves Sakra, the of the devas (gods) of the Trayastrimsha Heaven. In Buddhism there are many heavens, and the Tranyastrimsha Heaven is the heaven nearest to our world, which is called Jambvudpiva is Buddhist sutras.

Although they are more commonly called as the Four Heavenly Kings, each one of them has a name and their specific directions and functions. Allow me to introduce to you the Four Heavenly Kings:

VAISRAVANA (He Who Hears Everything)Vaisravana.

  • Is the chief of the Four Heavenly Kings and is the main protector of the cardinal direction North. He is sometimes likened to Bodhisattva Kuan Yin (also spelled or called as Quan Yin, Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Quan Shi Yin, Avalokitesvara, Kannon, Chenrezig, Bodhisattva of Compassion, Goddess of Mercy) whose literal translation is THE WHO HEAR THE CRIES OF THE WORLD.
  • Vaisravana is also known as Kubera, Namtose (Namthose), Vessavana, Thao Kuwen, Wetsawan, Wetsuwan, Wéthawún Nat Min, Duō Wén Tiānwáng.
  • Vaisravana is the rule of water or rain, which is also the element that represents wealth or money. The umbrella or the pagoda are his symbolic weapons. Vaisravana is considered as a very powerful god of wealth.
  • In fact, Vaisravana rules over the famous gods of weatlh, which are the Five Dzambhalas (also spelled as Dzambhala, Dzambala, Jambala, Jambhala, Zambhala, Zambala) namely Red Dzambhala, Yellow Dzambhala, White Dzambhala, Black or Blue Dzambhala, and Green Dzambhala. He rules over the Dzambhalas amongst other Yaksha (also spelled as Yaksa) which are generals of the heavenly realm.
  • Vaisravana is often associated with the colors yellow and green.
  • Symbols of Vaisravana: Umbrella, Stupa, Pagoda, Mongoose
  • Cardinal Direction: North

VIRUDHAKA (He Who Causes To Grow)Virudhaka

  • Is the king of the South. He is the ruler of the wind. And is the god who helps cause good growth of roots or crops.
  • His symbolic weapon is the sword, which he carries in his right hand to protect the Dharma and also to symbolize power over ignorance.
  • Virudhaka is also known as Virūḷhaka, Thao Wirunhok, Virúlaka Nat Min, Zēng Zhǎng Tiānwáng, Zōchō-ten, Jeungjang-cheonwang,
  • Virudhaka rules over Kumbhanda, which are a group of dwarfish spirits and is considered as one of the lesser deities in Buddhism.
  • Virudhaka is often associated with the color blue.
  • Symbol of Virudhaka: Sword
  • Cardinal Direction: South

DHRTARASTRA (He Who Upholds the Realm)Dhrtarastra

  • Is the king that rules over East. He is also considered as the God of Music.
  • His symbolic weapon is a stringed instrument called pipa.
  • It is said that Dhrtarastra uses music to convert all sentient beings to Buddhism. While all of the Four Heavenly Kings are harmonious and compassionate, Dhrtarastra is considered to be a god that helps promotes harmony and compassion.
  • Dhrtarastra is also known as Dhrutharashṭa, Thao Thatarot, Daddáratá Nat Min, Chí Guó Tiānwáng, Jikoku-ten, Jiguk-cheonwang, Yülkhorsung.
  • Dhrtarastra rule over the gandharvas, which are male nature spirits that has superb heavenly and celestial musical skills. They are part animal usually a bird or a horse, and acts as messenger between gods and humans.
  • Dhrtarastra are often associated with the color white.
  • Symbol of Dhrtarastra: Pipa
  • Cardinal Direction: East.

VIRUPAKSA ( He Who Sees All)Virupaksa

  • Is the king that rules over the West. He is considered as the one who sees everything that happens in the Dharma world.
  • His symbolic weapons are snake or a red cord that is representative of a dragon.
  • It is said the Virupaksa watches over us in the sky, and that when we solemnly call on him in time of danger, he will guard and protect us. And if you are not Buddhist and for some reason knows a lot of Buddhism, it is said that it Virupaksa is the one who feeds you these informations.
  • Virupaksa is also known as Virūpakkha, Virūpaksha, Thao Wirupak, Virúpekka Nat Min, Guăng Mù Tiānwáng, Kōmoku-ten, Gwangmok-cheonwang,
  • Virupaksa rules over the Nagas, which is a deity that has taken the form of a very great snake.
  • Virupaksa is often associated with the color red.
  • Symbols of Virupaksa: Snake, Stupa, Pearl.
  • Cardinal Direction: West

According to Guru Lama praying to the Four Heavenly Kings will provide us with wealth and prosperity (thru King Vaisravana), success and progress (thru King Virudhaka), peace and harmony (thru King Dhrtarastra) and, good health and protection from danger (thru King Virupaksa). Placing their images at home also serves as one of the most powerful protection amulet one can have.

Guru Lama shares with me a story about how when he was assigned by the Dalai Lama to leave Dharamsala, India to help spread Buddhism and build temple in other parts of Asia, he has personally tapped into the blessings and power of the Four Heavenly Kings.

That was a few decades ago and when he left India, he was only given small amount money to travel and spread the Dharma and eventually build a temple. Guru Lama said he was a little apprehensive because a few years back they just left Tibet because of Chinese oppression, and when he was asked to leave again to spread the Dharma, he was apprehensive and really nervous even though he was excited and felt honored to be entrusted with the task of spreading the Dharma.

A few months before leaving India, he started preparing himself physically and mentally to this overwhelming task. He would always meditate on the teaching of the different sutras and would always draw strength from Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (aka Kuan Yin, Quan Yin, Guan Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Quan Shi Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Chenrezig, Kannon) and Bodhisattva Vajrapani. One night in his sleep he received a vision that Vajrapani Bodhisattva visited him and that he was shown the images of the Four Heavenly Kings. Upon waking up he knew then that he would need the help of the Four Heavenly Kings to help progress in his endeavor.

This totally make sense, because if you go back to the description of the Four Heavenly Kings, he will need wealth and prosperity to help build a temple, success and progress so that people will see the good side of what he was about to do, peace and harmony so that he can transmute that feeling to the people around him, good health for this overwhelming task, and protection to ensure that he doesn’t come to harm’s way in spreading the Dharma.

And so my Guru Lama started worshipping and praising the Four Heavenly Kings by making offerings to them and by chanting the mantras of the Four Heavenly Kings. He also vigorously recited The Golden Light Sutra, and The Lotus Sutra (full title is called “Sūtra on the White Lotus of the Sublime Dharma”). And the rest is history. According to Guru Lama he was able to become an instrument into building a temple and building a Sangha (Buddhist community) with relative ease. Money for the temple just kept on pouring in.

Note: To this day Guru Lama still actively participate in building temples. The stipulated donation from the amulets goes to the feeding of the monks or building temples or making of images of Buddhas or Bodhisattvas.

And so today, again for the first time, I want to share with you a powerful mantra that will help you attract wealth and prosperity, success and progress, peace and harmony, lastly, good health and protection, you can recite the mantras of each of the Four Heavenly Kings.

Here are the mantras of each of the Four Heavenly Kings:

  1. For Wealth and Prosperity recite the Mantra of King Vaisravana: OM VAISRAVANA YE SOHA
  2. For Success and Progress in Life recite the Mantra of King Virudhaka: OM VIRUDHAKA KUMBHANDADHIPATA YE SOHA
  3. For Peace and Harmony recite the Mantra of King Dhrtarastra: OM DHRTARASTRA RALAPRAVADHAHA SOHA
  4. For Good Health and Protection recite the Mantra of King Virupaksa: OM VIRUPAKSA NAGA DHIPATA YE SOHA

Chant – A – Mantra (3g): Daily Mantras to Chant – Wealth Luck, Financial Luck, and Money Luck Granting Mantras!

Published Hulyo 25, 2016 by jptan2012

Today, I would like to further share with you some more mantras that I chant daily. With this one, I would like to focus on one of the major concern of more people, and that is to increase their wealth luck, or financial luck, or money luck.

Although not included here, because I have previously written about it already in this series, it should be noted that chanting the Mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani – OM VAJRAPANI HUM – is also a very good wealth, money and financial luck enhancement mantra. Even not really about chanting mantras, a lot of my readers who has acquired the Vajrapani Ruel has experienced wonderful miraculous stories that totally boost their financial, wealth or money luck.

Chanting the mantra of Vajrapani Bodhisattva and the following mantras will help enhance your wealth luck or financial luck or money luck:

OM TARE TUTTARE TURE DANAM ME DADA SOHA (Mantra of the Wealth Granting Tara) – Wealth Granting Tara is another manifestation of Goddess Tara, chanting her mantra will help grant you showers of financial blessing.

wealth granting tara

WEALTH GRANTING TARA is not a very popular but very powerful manifestaion of GODDESS TARA. There are very few images of the WEALTH GRANTING TARA in the market or on the net. So far, one of the best rendition is that of Lillian Too’s WEALTH GRANTING TARA, which is available in WOFS or World of Feng Shui.

OM SHRI VASUDHARA RATNA NIDHANA KASHETRI SOHA (Mantra of Goddess Vasudhara) – Goddess Vasudhara is another manifestation of the Goddess Tara. According to the sutra, a generous and compassionate man who needs wealth to help the poor, requested the then human Shakyamuni Buddha (Sakyamuni Buddha) for financial abundance. The Historical Buddha, Shakyamuni, then gave him the mantra of Goddess Vasudhara. But more than the material abundance, chanting this mantra will help attain spiritual growth as well.VASUDHARA-TIBETAN-PROSPERITY-DEITY-BUDDHIST-TANGKA-THANGKA-PAINTING-3

OM PADMO KRODA ARYA DZAMBHALA HRIH DAYA HUM PHAT (Mantra of White Dzambhala) – There are different Dzambhala’s, (also spelled as Zambala, or Jambala), there is red, yellow, black, green and also white. I have talked about the Yellow Dzambhala. Like the mantra of the Yellow Dzambhala, chanting the mantra of the White Dzambhala will help enhance your wealth luck and give you material abundance.white dzambhala

Time really flies so fast, it seems that I have just recently written about the 2014 Year of the Wood Horse forecast and in what seems a short time, I am now again writing about the 2015 Year of the Wood Sheep forecast.

In my previous posts, 2015 Year of the Wood Sheep Feng Shui Forecast Base on Bazi, Flying Stars, and 24 Mountain Stars Formula: A Balanced Year Filled with Wealth and Resources But May Be Ruled By Arguments and Fighting (Part 1) (Part 2), I talked about the year being ruled by the #3 Flying Star, which is also called the Argumentative Star. But really this star can cause more than just arguments, so it is important for you to remember that regardless of your Chinese Animal Zodiac Sign, you need to have the Holy Trinity of Protection for the year.

Note: To know more about the particular recommendation please click on the link. Some links may lead you to a different post that has different title but as you read along you’ll find that that particular recommendation is mentioned on that link. This only mean that I haven’t written about it separately. It might also lead you to a different site if I haven’t written about that particular recommendation at all. More importantly, I’m not selling any of the items below. Some are from my personal collection and some were just lifted from the net. You’ll also notice that some of the pictures are repetitive. This is for the benefit of the people who may opt to skip the signs that doesn’t matter to them.

This is also the third of the series of three posts. It will be nice if you can read all three posts to get a better picture of what’s in store for the year.

The Holy Trinity of Protection for the year are the following:

  1. Kuan Kong or Namo Sangharama Bodhisattva to suppress the #3 Flying Star.kuan kong pendant
  2. Kuan Yin with Heart Sutra to actively create harmony. As mentioned a Kuan Yin (1) (2) (3) pendant with the Heart Sutra can be very difficult to find, and although this is my top preference, separately carrying a Heart Sutra with you will definitely work as well.
This is from my personal collection. The reason I love this pendants so much is because it has a inscription of the Heart Sutra at the back. I wear the smaller one everyday.

My Kuan Yin pendant has the The Heart of Prajna Paramitra Sutra. Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to look for this kind of pendant.

  3. Lastly, a Kalachakra pendant, to continue protect you from the peripheral effects of the star, which may be cause by other people.

The Kalachakra Symbol is a powerful protection symbol. It is actually ten syllable mantra compressed into one symbol. The mantra is HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. However, it is usually chanted with OM AH HUM thus making the complete mantra as OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. It is because off this that I decided to put the symbolic script OM AH HUM on top of Kalachakra Symbol.

You can get a Kalachakra pendant as well.

It has to be mentioned that Chinese New Year or the Lunar New Year that will usher in the year of the Wood Sheep doesn’t happen until Feb. 19, 2015. That is the day when we can really say it’s the New Year.

Furthermore, for the animal zodiac sign forecast, one should also remember that these are general forecast and difference will still happen base on your actual birth date. By birth date I refer to the month, day, and time. However, this should still serve as basic guideline.

Now lets move to the different animal signs.

The RAT…

General Traits: Artistic, imaginative, creative, talented, charming, resourceful, opportunist, ambitious, lively, pleasure-seeking, problem solver, resilient, sometimes unscrupulous, selfish, short tempered, spendtrift, insecure, usually successful, tend to gossip.

General Traits: Artistic, imaginative, creative, talented, charming, resourceful, opportunist, ambitious, lively, pleasure-seeking, problem solver, resilient, sometimes unscrupulous, selfish, short tempered, spendtrift, insecure, usually successful, tend to gossip.

Is synonymous to lucky this year. Maybe the luckiest of all the 12 animal signs, you will not lack of resources, opportunities, success, and if you play your cards right, even wealth. Your luck is brought about by the wonderful #8 Star also known as the Wealth Star! Furthermore, you are flanked by two Big Auspicious Star from the 24 Mountain Stars calculation! The name says it all and there’s no need to explain this. All you have to do is to focus on what is there to take, focus on the positive and your biggest enemy for the year is yourself if you are filled with self – doubt.

The only slightly hindrance to attaining your full luck potential is by the appearance of the Wu Duo Star. This normally bring about the loss of money, however, a large group of Feng Shui experts believes that when Wu Duo appears between two Big Auspicious stars then the effects are either lessened or totally negated. Nevertheless, it is still better to keep yourself aware of this possible loss so that you can be careful.

Recommendations:

To further enhanced your wealth luck and at the same time give you the confidence you can wear a Wind Horse or Lung – Ta coupled with one of the following images Kuan Kong, Sun Wukong, Maitreya Buddha (Happy Buddha), Yellow Dzambhala, or Three – Legged Toad. Preferably wear them in gold.

To help manage the Wu Duo star you can wear a prayer wheel with the mantra of Bodhisattva of Compassion, Kuan Yin or Guru Rinpoche.

 The OX…

Very intelligent, logic and clear thinking, calm but stubborn, independent, trusting, industrious, deep and original in thought, reliable, a good leader, intolerant, peace loving.

General Traits: Very intelligent, logical and clear thinking, calm but stubborn, independent, trusting, industrious, deep and original in thought, reliable, a good leader, intolerant, peace loving.

Aside from the #3 star that affects everybody, is surrounded by auspicious stars from the Flying Star formula, on the ‘house’ of an Ox lies the #6 flying star also known as the Heaven’s Blessing and Mentor Star, on the right is the #8 flying star that is also called wealth star and lastly on the left lies the #1 flying star known as the White Victory Star! All three combined creates the auspicious three – digit number 168. Furthermore, you also have the Big Auspicious star of the 24 Mountain Star formulas. The only conflict is that you’re Sui Po this year, which means you’re in direct conflict with the Tai Sui of the year, and on your left is the Annual Conflict star also from the 24 Mountain Star formulas.

What does this mean? This mean that you’re greatly blessed this year and wealth is definitely within your reach. Furthermore, you may always be victorious in all your endeavors and to top it off you won’t run out of help from powerful individuals who can make things easier for you. On top of that, if you remain good and harvest good karma, help will definitely come from heaven.

You just have to be careful about the Sui Po and the Annual Conflict star, because this can divert your attention from the real price. This translates into making you more susceptible to the effects of the #3 Star. So always remember that for you the best thing to do this year is simply to quietly walk away from arguments and quarrels. Don’t let it lead you to disaster and forget about better things.

The Ox is also greatly affected by the #3 Ruling Star.  So better watch out for your temper.

Recommendations:

To enhance the good stars wear the White Victory Star wear the Victory Banner. You can also wear the image of Kuan Kong and Sun Wukong to enhance both the #6 and #8 flying stars.

Front side of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT.

Front side of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT. This pendant is no longer available. This is just placed here to illustrate a Sun Wukong pendant.

Wear an image of the Piyao (Pi Xiu, Pixiu, Pi Xie, Pixie, Pi Yao) or Dou Mu Yuan Jun to appease the Tai Sui God of the year. I together with a help of a reader might come up with a Master Tai Sui Protection pendant. It’s called the Master Tai Sui Protection pendant because it will bear the image of Dou Mu Yuan Jun (to know more about her please click here) and a pair of Piyao. Hopefully, at the back it will bear the Tai Sui protection prayer. But more than that it is a Tai Sui pendant that will cover all the Tai Sui God, so one need not replace the Tai Sui amulet every year. Hope this comes to fruition.

Gold Piyao pendants worn as amulets are also very auspicious.

Gold Piyao pendants worn as amulets are also very auspicious. This is a Piyao designed by Lillian too.

Dou Mu Yuan Jun or Goddess of the North Star is a powerful Deity to counter the effects of Tai Suey. She is said to be the creator of all the Tai Suey Gods does has the power to rule or control over them.

To protect oneself from the effects of the Annual Conflict, make sure you always have something red on your body. Just a little will do. So a little red gemstone worn, as jewelry will do.

Lastly, to protect oneself from the combined effects of the Sui Po and Annual Conflict stars, which create another negative chi, wear a gold Kalachakra or an image of Amitabha Buddha or Amitabha Buddha’s symbolic script.

This is a Kalachakra Pendant designed by Lillian Too. She has included some mandala sands inside the pendant to make it more potent. I personally love this pendant and has one that is made of white gold. The Kalachakra Symbol is a powerful protection symbol. It is actually ten syllable mantra compressed into one symbol. Please note that some Ox because of the effect of the Paht Chee is highly susceptible to have health issues this year. This is specifically true to Ox born in the years 1973 and 1985. So wear an image of the Medicine Buddha or Medicine Buddha’s symbolic script or a prayer wheel containing the mantra of Medicine Buddha.

 The TIGER…

General Traits: Lucky, powerful, proud, aggressive, courageous, a good leader, vivacious, high self-confident, energetic, impulsive, dignified, handsome, self-concerned, arrogant.

Is another animal sign that enjoys tremendous luck, while you don’t have the Wealth Star, remember that base on the Bazi of the year wealth is quite accessible for all of us. But you do have the #6 Flying Star and the #1 Flying Star, this means with the help from mentors or influential people and from Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Deities, Gods, you can certain attain success in all your endeavors.

However, the 24 Mountain Stars formula of Feng Shui shows you are affected by the Annual Conflict and you are slightly facing the Three – Killings. The Annual Conflict star will make you more susceptible to the #3 Flying Star that is also known as the Argumentative Star. The Three – Killings might also present some problems. Normally, the way to manage the Three Killings is to confront it but this year because the 5 Yellow Star resides in the same sector, confronting the 3 Killings might do more harm than good. But the good news is that you also the Heavenly Seal, which means help from Heaven will surely come your way, this should temper all the bad effects a little.

Lastly, don’t forget that you are also slightly facing the Tai Suey, so better protect yourself from the ill effects of the wrath of the Tai Sui God.

Recommendations:

To enhance the good stars wear the White Victory Star wear the Victory Banner. You can also wear the image of Kuan Kong or Sun Wukong to enhance both the #6 and #8 flying stars. Alternately, a citrine with 9 – eye DZI will also help bring in wealth luck.

Had a tough year this 2014. A lot of people born under the sign of rabbit fell into some kind of health issues. Some were easily remedied with rest or popping a few pills, but a lot was a lot more serious. This year should be better, but a lot of you might still continue feeling a little under the blue. But other than your health issues, this should be a good year for people born under the sign of the rabbit. The #1 Flying Star called White Victory Star goes into your sector, this means that you will be victorious with your endeavors. Success will come easy to you.

On top of that in the 24 Mountain Star formula, you got the General Star or Star of the General. This means Rabbit born people who are in the leadership position will find themselves becoming real leaders, there will be more strength in your voice and you will be commanding with confidence.

You are also directly facing the 3 – Killings, and as we said this used to be an easy star to deal with, but this year because it resides at the West and is joined by the Five Yellow Star, it is best to avoid directly confronting the 3 – Killings.

Is one of the luckiest signs the past years, but in the year 2015, which is lead by the Wood Sheep you’ll see yourself losing some steam. You’re usually brimming with self – confidence, however, due to the effects of the year’s bazi, you’ll find yourself losing some of these confidence. You might face a lot of challenges also. Whenever you faced self – doubt please just remember that you are right beside the #1 Flying Star, which is the White Victory Star. This should aid you in remembering that you can still be victorious as long as you regain that self – confidence and do away with all the negative thoughts.

More than the White Victory Star you should also know and always remember that you have the Big Auspicious Star from the 24 Mountain Star formulas. This means that this should be an auspicious year for you. Plus you also the Star of Golden Deity, thus you can expect help from the Gods.

Also you’re afflicted with the Illness Star, which is the #2 Flying Star. While this year the said star is not as strong as last year, it is still wise to make sure that you take care of yourself, what your health and do not participate in any dangerous activities.

Recommendations:

Self – confidence is something difficult to deal with because it has something to do with your personality, so the best cure for this is really to remind yourself your worth. Nevertheless, to help keep an upbeat disposition in life, do wear a Star of David Crystal pendant; wear something that is made of citrine, amethyst, or clear quartz.

The Star of David pendant is a crystal pendant that is faceted in such a way that they call Star of David. It has a lot of uses, but one use of Star of David is to help strengthen your inner essence, and help renew energies.

Enhance the White Victory Star by wearing the Victory Banner and this should serve as a reminder to yourself that you do have the White Victory Star. Wearing a Kuan Kong will also help enhance this star.

Kuan Kong also spelled as Guan Gong is a warrior god. He is a very good protector and wealth god.

The best way to activate the Star of Golden Deity is by inviting to your house or wearing an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deity or a Taoist God in gold. I suggest one of the following: Kuan Yin, Kuan Kong, Sun Wukong, Yellow Dzambhala. In fact, you can get a different image for your house and a different one for a pendant. But since you are also suffering from self – doubt and lack of self – confidence I strong recommend wearing a gold pendant of an image of Kuan Kong or Sun Wukong.

Should also have a good year. This is largely because of the effects of this year’s bazi to the fortune of the horse. You don’t have much wealth luck this year if fortune is going to be solely base on the Flying Star formula, but remember, wealth luck is accessible for all of us this year base on the year’s bazi. Your personal Windhorse is also your greatest asset this year.

You should be ready to take charge of the success that comes your way this year, don’t be timid, and while caution is always advice, be bullish and aggressive but at the same you should remain humble.

Furthermore, base on the 24 Mountain Stars formula, two Big Auspicious stars also visit you, this is great news, and on top of that, like the Dragon, you also have the Star of Golden Deity. All these should be enough to make your year a wonderful one.

But also take note that you were visited by the #2 Flying Star that is the Illness Star, but this year the star is not very strong but still it is best to take caution, because if you’re naturally weak or unhealthy this could have a grave effect on your health. Take note, you should also not tempt fate by engaging in dangerous activities or sports.

Recommendations:

To attract more wealth luck you should have one of the following: Kuan Kong, Sun Wukong, Three – Legged Toad.

Is going to have a balanced year that in the sense that the luck that affects you is quite mixed. Because the sheep is an astrological ally, this would mean that the year would be generally in favor of you. Nevertheless, you have the flying star #7 known as the Violent Star or Star of Violence. There is a potential of robbery or some sort of violence happening in your life. So be extra careful and avoid going out at night and be carefree or careless.

While wealth luck is generally good for a lot of people, you should take extra care in being cautious in how you spend money. It is also possible that even if money is already within reach, sometimes you’ll see it getting lost.

The 24 Mountain Stars formula also indicates that you were sandwiched by two Big Auspicious Star, which means that this should be an auspicious year for you, but another adversary for the year is the Star of Reducing Energy that will manifest itself in making you feel tired and losing both physical and inner energy, this is further heightened by the fact that you are also in side conflict with the Illness Star. So better watch out for your health and always ensure that you stay in top shape because this will be your greatest stumbling block from attaining your full potential for the year. Remember, it is not only the body that may feel tire, but also your inner drive, your inner energy.

On top of that, you’re also in side conflict with the Tai Sui or Tai Suey, thus if not managed this might pose further problems with the Tai Sui God making things harder for you.

Recommendations:

To counter the effects of the #7 Flying Star you can invite into your home and wear the image of the following: Kuan Kong, Sun Wukong, Amitabha Buddha, or Kalachakra symbol. A Blue Rhinoceros with a Blue Elephant Feng Shui charm will also be helpful.

This is a Kalachakra pendant released by Lillian Too. I really love this pendant but find it too expensive. It is because off this that for the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA'S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, I decided to put the symbolic script OM AH HUM on top of Kalachakra Symbol.

For the Star of Reducing Energy, always make sure that you keep yourself in shape, and wear a Star of David made of amethyst or clear quartz. Furthermore, you’re also affected by the Illness Star and the Star of Reducing Energy might make it’s effect worse than normal, so you should definitely have Medicine Buddha pendant or Medicine Buddha Prayer Wheel.

I personally have a hand held, table top, and pendant Prayer Wheel. A Prayer Wheel has a very good calming effect.

Might have the notion or belief that this is going to be good year because this their year. Like always, I again would like to remind everybody that this is a misconception, and there’s no exception for this year. But it doesn’t mean it is going to be an extremely bad year for the Sheep (some will say Goat or Lamb). One thing you should realize is that you should appease the Tai Suey, if you do this properly you will definitely get his support and he will definitely help in making this year a very good year for you.

Base on the 24 Mountain Stars formula you have both the Big Auspicious and Small Auspicious stars, the difference is only in the amount of auspiciousness that they will bestow on you, but all you have to understand is that these are good stars and auspiciousness is definitely just around you.

You have to take note also that you have the #9 Flying Star or the Multiplying and Future Prosperity Star. Technically speaking, this is neither a good or bad star. The power of this star is to let you reap whatever you sow. This star basically multiplies whatever karma you accumulate. If you do more good things you’ll have more good luck in the future, but if you continue to do a lot of bad things, you multiply your negative karma as well. So if you’ve been good you need not worry because this year you’ll reap some of the good karma and help you go through the year, but if you’ve been bad you should try to negate all those negative karma and take advantage of this star by sincerely doing good. Remember, the operative word is sincerely.

Unfortunately, you’re in side conflict with the #7 Flying Star (also known as the Violent Star) and the #5 Flying Star (also known as the Five Yellow Star), which is one of the most dreaded stars. Thus you have to be really careful and ensure that you tempt fate by going out in the evening a lot. Always make sure that you are cautious, not totally paranoid, but cautious. The Five Yellow Star is also said to bring in 5 different kinds of misfortunes, so ensure that you get the help of the gods to keep you safe.

Lastly, your personal Lung – Ta or Windhorse is not very strong either, and this might make you feel a little down. So better strengthened your personal Lung – Ta also.

Has superb inner essence and Windhorse or Lung – Ta and this is your greatest asset for the year. Just remember to keep an open mind and remember while challenges await you, draw strength from your inner strength and go forward. Remember that for the year it is important to focus on small successes that will lead to the big ones. Do not be too aggressive and ignore the small ones just because you have your eyes set on the golden apple. Remember before you to the million you will need to start with the smallest coin.

The Flying Star formula shows that you have the Multiplying and Future Prosperity Star, technically speaking; this is neither a good or bad star. You’re also in side conflict with the Tai Sui so it is important that you appease him because an angry Tai Sui can make it a difficult year for you.

Remember that you are also in side conflict with the #7 Flying Star, also known as the Violent Star or Star of Violence. Thus it is important that you be very careful. This coupled with the Robbery Star of the 24 Mountain Stars formula is a sure indication that you will have to be careful, be wary of possible backstabbing and betrayal also. There is a possibility of loss of money also.

Lastly, you are also in side conflict with the dreaded #5 Yellow Star, which 5 kinds of misfortunes, thus you must remember that you should definitely protect yourself against this star.

While you are in side conflict with the 3 – Killings this should pose no threat to you. Luckily, you also have the Star of Small Auspicious, and this should reiterate that you should focus more on smaller successes that leads to the big one rather than go straight for the biggest prize.

General Traits: Moody, dreamy, talkative, vain, outgoing, extravagant, over-confident, self-confident, attentive to friends, rarely successful, flamboyant, unaided, dignified, handsome, headstrong, arrogant, vain.

General Traits: Moody, dreamy, talkative, vain, outgoing, extravagant, over-confident, self-confident, attentive to friends, flamboyant, unaided, dignified, handsome, headstrong, arrogant, vain.

Is going to face a challenging year ahead, BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT YOU HAVE A STRONG LUNG – TA AND INNER ESSENCE SO THIS SHOULD HELP YOU GET THROUGH IT. The energies of the year are quite hostile towards people born under the sign of the rooster. The best thing to do for the Rooster this year is to work hard, strive hard, but keep a low profile. Don’t challenge the universe. Wealth luck is not impossible because the year’s bazi shows that wealth luck is attainable and therefore if you keep yourself protected you should be able to go through the year with problem.

You do have to be wary about the dreaded Five – Yellow Star or the #5 Flying Star though. This star is also Wu Wang; it says to cause 5 kinds of misfortunes that may affect your health, wealth, personal relationship, safety amongst others. Thus ensure other than getting the support of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or Deities or Taoist Gods to keep you protected and safe. You do have to watch out for your temper and manage stress because little things might lead to bigger problems. The #3 Flying Star, which is the ruling star that affects all the animal sign, will also affect you more than the other signs also. Thus remember to always keep your temper and feelings in check.

You’re also affected by the Three – Killings, and if you read my posts about the 2015 Year of the Wood Sheep forecast, I said that for the year you shouldn’t really deal with the 3 – Killings because it is with the 5 – Yellow Star, but because you’re in the same sector, you will be naturally dealing with it, therefore it should not pose any problem. Nevertheless, it is still best to keep yourself protected.

Lastly, also with 24 Mountain Stars Formula, you are further affected by the Natural Disaster Star, and this stars doesn’t really just refer to rains or earthquakes but may also mean personal disasters that may naturally occur.

Recommendations:

To manage the Five Yellow Star or #5 Flying Star, wear a gold Kalachakra or a 5 – Element Pagoda (Five Element Pagoda) note that the pagoda pendant should be made of metal, either silver or gold, not jade or other semi – precious stone.

The mantra is HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. However, it is usually chanted with OM AH HUM thus making the complete mantra as OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. It is because off this that for the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA'S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, I decided to put the symbolic script OM AH HUM on top of Kalachakra Symbol.

There are different versions of the 5-Element Pagoda. However, personally the original version and a small one, I believe, is okay and powerful enough to counter the effects of the 5-Yellow Star.

To deal with the 3 Killings, all you have to do is wear an image of the Three Celestial Guardian, namely the Piyao, Fu Dog and Chi Lin (Qi Lin), or you can also wear an image of 3 different Buddhas, or Bodhisattvas, or Deities, or Taoist Gods or Goddesses. For those who have the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, please note that the image of Medicine Buddha, Kuan Kong, and Yellow Dzambhala are more than enough to deal with the 3 Killings.

Admittedly, its difficult to find a '3-Celestial Guardian' Pendant. A key chain will do. However, that's also the reason why I designed my WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT with the 3-Celestial Guardian at the back.

Wear a Windhorse or Lung – Ta to further enhance it and add a Star of David made of either citrine, amethyst, or clear quartz to further enhance your inner strength. Add the seed syllable OM also to further help enhance life forces. Furthermore, a Victory Banner is also going to be helpful in making sure you get some victories in your endeavor.

Also wash yourself with a salt bath for the first 7 days of the week, and another 7 days in the middle of year. Getting a Namtso Salt for your bedroom, office, and living room will also be very beneficial.namtso salt

Lastly, get extra protection from the Natural Disaster by wearing an image of one of the following: Kuan Kong, Sun Wukong, and Amitabha Buddha.

The DOG…

Loyal, just, strong sense of morality, reliable, dutiful, patient, caring, sincere, compassionate, honest, generous, intelligent, confident, idealistic, affectionate, a worthy leader, tend to become lazy and depressed, pessimistic.

General Traits: Loyal, just, strong sense of morality, reliable, dutiful, patient, caring, sincere, compassionate, honest, generous, intelligent, confident, idealistic, affectionate, a worthy leader, tend to become lazy and depressed, pessimistic.

Will see that while wealth luck is within reach, this is a year to focus more on family, personal, and scholastic life. The wealth that a person born under the sign of a dog will come from this year bazi and not the flying star. This means that you will have to be more resourceful that usual, and you can get this luck by having a scholastic approach, meaning do research and study about the situation carefully. Whatever you do, remember career and wealth should not be your main goal this year. It should be your personal and family life.

The 24 Mountain Stars formula also indicate that you have the Star of Annual Killing or Yearly Killing, the effect of this star is that you have the tendency to become emotionally imbalance and mentally imbalance, this does not mean that you’ll go crazy, but this will mean that you may not be in your usual self when dealing with things. I hate being negative, but it seems that this star is quite strong this year and that some event that may be traumatic and may grave effect on your psychological and emotional well – being is really likely to happen. Furthermore, the Star of the Yin House also visits you, this means you will be more susceptible to the effects of Yin energies and you have to make sure that you continuously have a dose of Yang energy to counter this. Lastly, you are also in side conflict with the Three – Killings, but this should not pose any serious problem but it is still better to protect yourself from it.

Before we end the forecast for the Dog, you should also remember that you’re in side conflict with the 5 Yellow Star of the flying star formula, this star is said to bring 5 kinds of misfortunes, thus it is best to keep yourself protected from this star.

It’s quite easy to manage the Yin House, engage in Yang activities like sports, go out and enjoy nature specially the sun, play positive games, eat out with friends, listen to good music, and I know my friend and reader DU will be happy to hear this, wear gold. By gold I mean yellow gold, make this in the image of Buddhas or Bodhisattvas and other powerful images to make it more Yang.

The PIG…

General Traits: Just, discerning, wise, intellectual and well-informed, lucky with money and in friendship, always admired, self-indulgent, cultured, loyal, reliable, naïve, tend to get frustrated due to lack of knowledge

General Traits: Just, discerning, wise, intellectual and well-informed, lucky with money and in friendship, always admired, self-indulgent, cultured, loyal, reliable, may be naïve at times, loves to gain more knowledge, may be flamboyant.

Has quite a confusing year ahead. Wealth luck both from the Flying Star and the year’s Bazi or Paht Chee is available for the Pig or Boar to take, however, initial glance on the year’s bazi to the effects on a person born under the sign of the pig shows that there is some form of lethargy that will be experienced. Your personal Windhorse is also somewhat weakened and this might have an effect on your overall success and victorious luck for the year. You might feel easily disappointed or discouraged. On top of your inner essence is a little weak thus making you more susceptible to negative energies or negative chi.

You’ll also find yourself better pursuing personal and family luck rather than career and wealth luck, but this doesn’t mean that the last two will be elusive it only means, your personal and family life should take a front seat this year. When it comes to money or career, it is better if you engage more on a scholastic approach, this doesn’t mean that your luck is limited to education or research but whatever you do you should do your research and study the matter really well.

The 24 Mountain Stars formula shows that you the Star of Big Auspicious and the Earth Seal Star. The Big Auspicious star will bring a lot of auspiciousness to different aspects of your life and it might balance out some of the negative effects of the flying star and the year’s bazi or Paht Chee, but what you really should be happy about is the Earth Seal Star, because this brings about stability in all your endeavors. However, those who will find themselves changing career might not benefit from this star so much.

However, you have to be careful about the Yin House Star. This means that the star will make you more vulnerable to yin energies or may make you more susceptible to it. The effects depending on the how much Yin attracts may be from a simple setback, slight fever, or to accidents and grave misfortune.

You are also in side conflict with the Five Yellow Star, the effect of this star is greater for people born under the sign of the Dog, but nevertheless it is better if you protect yourself from the 5 misfortunes brought about this star.

Of course, wearing a Windhorse is also highly recommended. And to strengthen the Star of Earth Seal, wear any gemstones. I personally believe that everybody should have at least one jade, so hit two birds in one stone, and just wear jade. An image of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is also a very powerful enhancer for the powers of the Earth Seal. Furthermore, you need a lock coin pendant to help catch on the wealth luck.

It is quite easy to deal with the Star of Yin House, all you have to do is engaged in Yang activities like go out and have fun, listen to uplifting music, play some mantras, or chant mantras, eat out with families and friends, be surrounded by naturally more yang animals like dogs and birds, be surrounded with flowers, and much to my friend and reader DU’s happiness wear gold. To add more yang wear gold in the image of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas or Deities. By the way, a Happy Buddha is also very Yang.

This piece looks much better in person than in this picture but I know somebody who got this pendant. The person was having a hard time deciding, but for some reason when this picture was taken there seem to appear an aura like image. Also, this particular Maitreya Buddha pendant or Happy Buddha pendant is quite different because if you look at its face it has a happy but calm or serene face. By the way, I'm sure there is a valid scientific explanation for the appearance of the aura, but for it to happened at the time when the person is deciding to get it or not, is something that can't be easily explained.

In my previous post, I talked about the forecast for the 2015 Year of the Wood Sheep, mainly focusing on the Bazi or Paht Chee with the annual Flying Stars and 24 Mountain Stars. There I talked about the Holy Trinity of Protection for the year, which are the images of Kuan Yin, Kuan Kong and a Kalachakra.

flying-star-2015

Image lifted from Google Images.

In all my forecast I start with the East, but I’d like to change that a little this time. Let’s start with the center because this is quite important.

This is the second of three series of forecast:

The Center has the #3 Flying Star, which is also, called the ARGUMENTATIVE STAR, because of this, the year is then ruled by this particular star. The 3# Flying Star’s element is also wood, and as we know, if coupled with the Bazi reading of the year which is largely ruled by the Wood element it thus then make the ruling star a very strong one. Its natural strength is enhanced and doubled.

Effects: The Flying Star #3 also known, as the Argumentative Star is a star that causes relationship problem, numerous bickering, litigation problems, quarrels and problems/conflicts with people in authority. This year it will greatly affect all of us. And it is further doubled if your office or room is in the center of the house, building, establishment, etc. Furthermore, as mentioned in the earlier post, there’s a destructive pillar in this year’s Paht Chee chart, namely the word element destroying the earth element this further strengthens the quarrelsome nature of the star. If not controlled and suppressed, this star will bring about tremendous with your family and officemates or business partners. It can also cause a lot of unnecessary legal issues. This star has to be suppressed.

It also has to be noted for this year, that all of us are affected by this star, but the most affected are the animal signs whose intrinsic element is earth and people whose self – element is earth are the most affected.

Feng Shui Cure: Normally the best cures for this star are either the Ksitigarbha Fireball or the Nine – Ring Sword of Kuan Kong. The image of Kuan Kong is also a very good cure for this star. People affected by this star can wear or carry an image of the cures. The Maitreya Buddha also known as the Happy Fat Buddha is also a great help. These are what I normally recommend. However, for this year, as mentioned in my previous post, we will all need the Holy Trinity of Protection for 2015 Year of the Wood Sheep. The said Holy Trinity of Protection are Kuan Kong, which will suppressed the said star, Kalachakra for the peripheral effect, and Kuan Yin with Heart Sutra (you can carry the Heart Sutra separately) to create harmony. It is not enough for us to simply suppress and protect ourselves from the effects of the said star, we must actively create harmony. Inviting the said images in your home, and wearing their images as a pendant will protect us from the terrible effects of the said #3 Argumentative Flying Star. For those who have the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant, all you need is to get an image of Kuan Yin and a Heart Sutra that you can carry around.

In wearing a Kuan Kong pendant remember to look for one that has a fierce face and better to get them in gold or something that has a red face.

The Kalachakra symbol is one of the most powerful protection symbol in Buddhism. It actually consists of ten syllable mantra, with it symbolic script condensed into one. The mantra itself is HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. However, the mantra of the Kalachakra is never chanted without the mantra OM AH HUM. Making the complete mantra of Kalachakra - OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. This is the reason why I decided to put the symbolic script of the mantra OM AH HUM on top of the Kalachakra symbol. As mentioned this is a very powerful protection symbol and can be likened to the Scapular of the Catholics. In fact, you'll seldom see a Tibetan Monk with wearing the symbol of the Kalachakra on their body. It may be hidden but most likely they have it somewhere on their body. But you'll never see them have the symbolic scripts tattooed because it is considered extremely bad luck to have a mantra tattooed on your body.

If you wish to wear or invite ‘non – religious’ images for this star, you can use the Ksitigarbha Fireball or Nine – Ringed Sword with apple, and Kalachakra. Kalachakra is a religious image but it doesn’t bear the image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva.

The Ksitigarbha Fireball is a pearl on the hand of Ksitigarbha Buddha that fires up when there are negative energies.

However, I think what is more important to know here is that depending on the location of the seat power, some countries might experience more political instability because of fighting. Some countries might even brew a possibility of war. Middle East countries are definitely affected with this star and the China might also be affected, although knowing China, it is highly possible that this is going to be because of their own doing. South East Asia is technically not very much affected of this star, but since this is the ruling star and because of their proximity to China, this might affect them. For the Philippines, base on the chart, our sea dispute with China might further escalate. We can only hope that the peaceful Tai Suey and ruling sign of the year will be enough to temper the effects of this star. Leaders who are calm are needed now.

THE EAST HAS THE #1 FLYING STAR CALLED WHITE VICTORY STAR

Effects: This star brings luck to your endeavors. It helps ensure your success. This year the White Victory Star also ensures that people whose main door faces the east will have wondrous victory luck.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Put in your bedroom or carry or wear one of the following images – Victory Banner, Lung – Ta or Wind Horse, Kuan Kong.

Banner of Victory Pendant

THE SOUTHEAST HAS THE #2 FLYING STAR CALLED ILLNESS STAR

Effects: As the name implies, this star causes illness and to some extent it can be fatal or terminal. Sometime, this star can also cause some accidents that may make you invalid for a long time if not permanently. However, while it will still affect the eldest daughter of the family, this year it is a weak star.

Feng Shui Cure: The primary cure for the ILLNESS STAR is the Medicine Buddha. Wear an image of the Medicine Buddha as pendant or wear the symbolic script of the mantra of the Medicine Buddha or wear a Medicine Buddha prayer wheel to help counter the ill effects of the said star. Chanting the mantra of the Medicine Buddha is also a great way to manage the said star. Secondary cure is Wulou (also spelled as Wu Lou) or Holy Gourd. Please note that it is considered very disrespectful if you put an image of the Medicine Buddha in your room, so in this case one can put the Holy Gourd.

THE SOUTH HAS THE #7 FLYING STAR ALSO CALLED THE VIOLENT STAR

Effects: The star brings hostility and loss through robbery, theft, or even manipulation.

Feng Shui Cure: One of the following items – Image of Sun Wukong (aka Monkey God), Image of Kuan Kong (also known as Kuan Ti, Guan Ti, Kuan Te Ya, Guan Te Ya, Guan Gong), Image Elephant with Rhinoceros. For people who are staying on this side have the house or office, or for people born under the sign of the horse, it is advisable to wear an image of Sun Wukong, Kuan Kong, or a Mantra Pendant. The WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT that has the image of THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN – SUN WUKONG, and the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT that has the image of Kuan Kong are also advisable.

Sun Wukong aka Monkey God aka Pilgrim aka 'Great Sage, Equal to Heaven' is a very powerful wealth and protector god. He is one of the few deities worshipped both in Taoism (also spelled as Daoism) and Buddhism.

Sun Wukong aka Monkey God aka Pilgrim aka ‘Great Sage, Equal to Heaven’ is a very powerful wealth and protector god. He is one of the few deities worshipped both in Taoism (also spelled as Daoism) and Buddhism.

THE SOUTHWEST HAS THE #9 FLYING STAR CALLED THE MULTIPLYING AND FUTURE PROSPERITY STAR AND IT IS JOINED BY THE TAIS SUEY GOD OF THE YEAR

Effects: Technically speaking, this is neither a good or bad star. The power of this star is to let you reap whatever you sow. This star basically multiplies whatever karma you accumulate. If you do more good things you’ll have more good luck in the future, but if you continue to do a lot of bad things, you multiply your negative karma as well.

Feng Shui Cure: Last year, I didn’t put any enhancer or cure recommendations because I want people to be more conscious about what they do. However, a reader told me that there are times that we simply, without intending to be bad, create some things that earn us negative karma. For this I highly recommend either the image of the Medicine Buddha or the symbolic script of the mantra OM AH HUM or OM HANU PASHA BARA HE YE SOHA both of which are on the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT.

However, it should be noted that this year, the Tai Suey God is also in the South. It has to be noted that Tai Suey is not part of the Flying Star but we need to always take this into consideration because offending the Tai Suey will create a lot of bad luck.

The Taoists, where most of how we do Feng Shui originated, believes that a certain God called Tai Suey or Tai Sui or Grand Duke in English rules a year. This year 2015, Tai Sui of the year is Great General Yang Xian. However, you have to understand a little about Taoist Gods for you to be able to understand why we have to be careful in dealing with the Tai Suey.

Great General Yang Xian is the 2015 Tai Sui God.

Great General Yang Xian is the 2015 Tai Sui God.

Taoist Gods are like humans with supernatural powers. They have magical and godly powers but they may also have human temperament and they also have characters and personalities. Meaning, they can get angry with our acts, they can be disturbed and get angry with us and thus render a punishment to us, or maybe the simple act of them getting irritated with us might create some misfortune. However, they can also be appease and happy with us and render us some good blessings, or again, the simple act of the Tai Suey getting happy with us will create some good fortune.

To help ensure that Tai Suey is happy with us always carry an image of the Pi Yao or Pi Xiu. This celestial animal will help appease the Grand Duke or Tai Suey. Another image that can help manage the Tai Suey God is to carry, display or wear an image of the Wind Horse or Lung Ta. People born in the year of the Sheep and Ox are directly affected by the Tai Suey God (also spelled as Tai Sui, Tai Sue) but those born under the sign of the horse, monkey, tiger and rat are also indirectly afflicted by way of side of afflictions. should have either the Piyao or Lung – Ta. Also, if your door faces SouthWest, or if your bedroom and office is in the SouthWest you should also put the image of the Piyao or Lung Ta or Windhorse. People who are occupying the SouthWest also should wear or carry the image of the Piyao or Lung Ta. Also one of the best protections for the Tai Suey is an image of the Goddess of the North Star or Dou Mu Yuan Jun, thus having her image is also highly advisable.

Always get a Pi Yao pendant that has an active stance.

Dou Mu Yuan Jun or Goddess of the North Star is a powerful Deity to counter the effects of Tai Suey. She is said to be the creator of all the Tai Suey Gods does has the power to rule or control over them.

THE WEST HAS THE #5 FLYING STAR OR THE DREADED FIVE YELLOW STAR AND THE THREE KILLINGS

Effects: The 5 – Yellow Star is the worst of all negative stars! It’s the most dreaded star. It is said to bring 5 different kinds of misfortunes!

Feng Shui Cure: AGAIN! AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE MOVE OUT FROM THIS SECTION OR DON’T USE THIS SECTION. You can also use the Five Element Pagoda (5 – Element Pagoda), or the Kalachakra. For people who stays in this section of the house or building and if you can’t move out of this sector, it is very important that you wear either the Kalachakra or the Five Element Pagoda. Furthermore, people born in the year of the Rooster should also ensure that they wear either the Five Element Pagoda or the Kalachakra.

This year the Three Killings also found its way to the West, thus making a double whammy on this sector. Unlike the Tai Suey or the Five Yellow Star, which we must avoid, the 3 – Killings is something that we must confront. Meaning, the best way to deal with it is to face the Three Killings and not turn our back against it. If the 3 Killings is not confronted then it can wreak three kinds of misfortunes to a person. The three misfortunes are accident, financial loss, and illness. However, since it’s with the #5 Star confronting it might be bad for us.

So a good way of dealing with the Three Killings is to place the image of the Three Celestial Guardians or images of three different Buddha, Bodhisattva, Deity or Immortal in the West section of the room, house, office, and building. Those who are staying in the West section of their house, office, building, or room must wear an image of the Three Celestial Guardians or images of three different Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or Deities or Immortals.

The Three Celestial Guardians are the Fu Dog, Chi Lin (also spelled as Qi Lin or Chilin or Chi Lin) and Piyao (also spelled or called Pi Yao, Pi Xiu, Pixiu).

Three Celestial Guardinas consists of the Fu Dog, Pi Yao (Piyao), and Chi Lin (Chilin).

THE NORTHWEST HAS THE #4 FLYING STAR ALSO KNOWN AS THE SCHOLASTIC AND ROMANCE STAR

Effects: Romance luck is heightened if your room is on this side of the house. For single people, you might have the possibility of finding love. For partnered people, you might find your love getting more ‘fragrant’. However, for married couple the effect might be two fold. First, you might find yourself loving each other more deeply, but there might also be the possibility of a third party getting involved. It is also called Scholastic Star because it also has a good effect on the scholastic pursuits of a person. Meaning, students may become more studious, and professionals might find that it’s easier to understand documents.

Feng Shui Enhancer: For single person you can put a Rose Quartz Mandarin Ducks on your bedside. For married couple, you can hang the Double Happiness on your headboard. To safeguard yourself from a third party, tie an Amethyst Geode with Red String on the foot of your bed or ask your partner to wear a gold image of Kuan Kong. You can also use the power of Green Tara to ensure that this star works for the positive only.

THE NORTH HAS THE #8 FLYING STAR CALLED WEALTH STAR

(Thank you to the one who called my attention for the typo.)

Effects: This star is a very good star. It gives you abundance and to some a ‘bottomless’ pocket filled with money. This star is not just about money wealth but this is also for over – all abundance. People born under the sign of Rat, Ox, and Pig or Boar will benefit from this star.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Faux gold Coins or Bars or Ingots should be place on this sector. Wear an image of a Wealth Deity like the Maitreya Buddha, Kuan Kong, or Sun Wukong.

Faux Gold Coins, Ingots, and Bars are available in Ongpin. If you can't find one please contact me at sanaakosirickylee@gmail.com

THE NORTHEAST HAS THE #6 FLYING STAR CALLED HEAVEN’S BLESSINGS AND MENTOR STAR

Effects: This star helps set the ‘tone’ of the year for people whose office, or room is in the NE side of the house or building. Meaning, if you continuously do more good the more blessed you’re going to be. This also means that if you’re Chinese Animal Zodiac is not so good, you will have help from Heaven (Buddha, Bodhisattvas, Deities, Immortals, or Saints). This also means that you’ll be lucky enough to have people who will help you achieve your goal.

Feng Shui Enhancers: In your room or office put some crystal ball or 6 White Jade tied with a red string. People who are staying in this sector and people born in the year of the Tiger and Ox will do well if they invite an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva or Deity or Immortal by wearing their image as a pendant. I personally suggest one of the following: Kuan Kong, Avalokitesvara aka Kuan Yin, Maitreya Buddha aka Happy Fat Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Yellow Dzambhala, Green Tara.Kuan Yin
