Top 10 Things to do if Your House is Haunted!

Published Agosto 8, 2018 by jptan2012

I strongly believe that there are houses that are haunted. I personally have encountered several such house. And as I said in a previous article, it is not really the haunting like seeing ghosts, light turning on and off by themselves, or moving objects and curious sounds that’s the scariest. It is how these negative chi affects us that’s scarier.

Aside from the physical hauntings, it is how they affect our thinking, mood, personality, and luck that is scarier that the actual haunting. Or in some rare cases, how they try to possess some people.

So, what are the things you need to do if you believe your house or office is haunted.

  1. First, do not try to banish them on your own. If not done properly they will become stronger or will get angry. You might also start to attract more negative chi.
  2. Light some incense as a peace offering so that you can live in harmony. But do not be submissive to them.
  3. Ignore them, attention gives them energy. Fear gives them energy.
  4. Put an image of a Chung Kwei (made of black tourmaline/black jade/onyx/gold) in your house.

    Chung Kwei Black Jade

This is a rare black jade pendant image of Chung Kwei. Was fortunate enough to find one in Beijing, China in a small shop. Remember in choosing a Chong Kwei or Chung Kwei or Zhung Kwei or Zhong Kwei, always get a something that’s made of a black stone or gold. Otherwise, it might not be very effective.

  5. Put a Vajrapani Ruel or Surangama Mantra Amulet or both inside your house.
  6. If there’s a baby or an elderly make sure they carry with them one or two (depending on the strength of the spirit) of the following with them all the time: gold Kalachakra pendant, Vajrapani Ruel, Surangama Mantra Amulet, Special Gold Piyao.
  7. If you suspect somebody is being possessed or is being psychologically or emotionally manipulated or influenced by the spirits let them wear 2 or 3 of the following: VAJRAPANI RUEL, SURANGAMA MANTRA AMULET, SPECIAL GOLD PIYAO, GOLD KALACHAKRA PENDANT, GOLD OR HOLY JADE PENDANT IMAGE OF BODHISATTVA SANGHARAMA (also known as Qie Lan Pu Sa, Kuan Kong, Guan Gong, Guan Yu, Kuan Yu, Guan Te Yah, Kuan Te Yah), GOLD or BLACK TOURMALINE or BLACK JADE or ONYX or BLACK OBSIDIAN PENDANT IMAGE OF CHUNG KWEI. Please note that some stores will say that an image of a Chung Kwei is real obsidian or onyx or tourmaline, but real ones will definitely not cost you below US$150.00.

    Kuan Kong Pendant2

Kuan Kong also spelled as Guan Gong is a warrior god. He is a very good protector and wealth god.

  8. Always make sure that you put on bright lights.
  9. Play happy music, make sure there is always yang energy but do not be noisy.
  10. Try to have somebody perform a puja for the spirits.

A Quick Post About the Things to Avoid During the Hungry Ghost Month!

Published Agosto 28, 2017 by jptan2012

Some of these things I have written in the past, some maybe just now. But allow me to quickly share a few things that one should avoid doing during the Hungry Ghost Month (Ghost Month) especially the Hungry Ghost Festival (Ghost Festival) which for this 2017 is on September 5.

Things to avoid:

  1. Avoid disturbing around and under the altar because the hungry ghosts loves to dwell around those areas because they want the yang energy.
  2. Avoid disturbing the kitchen or dining area or even the market or anywhere where there is food. Hungry Ghosts crave for food and so they might be in those areas.
  3. Do not put new fish tanks or aquarium in your house, because this might enhance the yin energy that is already pervasive during the ghost month.
  4. Do not hand wind chimes. Contrary to popular Feng Shui belief, there are a number of non – commercialized, traditional Feng Shui masters and Feng Shui experts who doesn’t believe in the use of wind chimes because a wind chime attracts spirits. I also subscribe to this belief They attract both good and bad spirits, so how can you siphon the good from the bad?
  5. Do not leave red cloths or red strings lying around the house? Red has one of the strongest yang energy and hungry ghosts will naturally crave for them.
  6. Avoid whistling especially after dark. Same principle with the wind chime, they may get attracted with the sound and they might latch on to you.
  7. Avoid properly putting any footwear beside your bed, always turn the footwear away from the bed or turn one of them over. Properly placed footwear may attract spirits to you.
  8. Do not hang your clothes overnight. Hungry Ghosts are not just hungry, they also lack clothes, while they don’t need it, they might feel that they need one because they still long for their human body. Hanging it overnight might lead them to ‘try it’ and it will cause extreme bad luck or even some hauntings.
  9. Do not pick up money on the streets or on the floor if you don’t know who owns them. Even if they’re just coins. A spirit might have latched on to it already and you will bring them with you.
  10. Do not look back if you hear a ‘pssst’ or if you hear somebody calls you in an empty space or street.

I also received some emails and questions as to what one can do if one really has to undergo a medical procedure this ghost month. I have written about this before and you can check it out by clicking here. However, please note to try to avoid this and if this is not possible, for major operations, or for medical procedure, which may be considered routine but involves senior citizens or children below 7 years of age, it is best to have the Vajrapani Ruel and/or a gold Kalachakra pendant.

What You Do and What You Watch May Create Negative Energies!

Published Hunyo 15, 2016 by jptan2012

I recently saw an article on Rappler (a online news website) about the different ghostly manifestations that happened on the set of various high profile movies.

The truth is I was not surprised that these things happened, because what we do may attract negative energies. But not only that, what we watch may also attract negative energies.

In one of my recent trip to the North of the Philippines, a friend’s friend consulted me because of a haunting in their house. They would hear crying and sometimes there would be weird noises. I clarified that I’m not an exorcist and ghostly hauntings are not my expertise. However, my friend begged me to just see the place of his friend. I did. I immediately notice that they have a large collection of DVD Movies, and a lot of them are horror movies. My instinct says that this was the cause of the hauntings in their house. I told them about it and they immediately got rid of the DVD Movies and vowed to stop watching horror movies from then on. I also suggested that they put a Vajrapani Ruel, which is regarded as the most powerful amulet in the Buddhist pantheon. They did.

Two weeks after they threw out the DVDs and placed the Vajrapani Ruel, the hauntings were gone!

On the other hand, those involved in the making of these horror movies may experience temporary hauntings, or sometimes it can be quite permanent. One famous story is that of Linda Blair, the famous actress who starred in The Exorcist. The movie was a big hit and it made Linda Blair even more famous, but after a while she had a slumped in her career that never recovered.

You see, these things we watch will greatly affect our emotions, mind, and energy even after watching the movie, even if we don’t feel like we hot scared. And all these can attract negative energies that may be strong enough to attract negative entities.

Empty Vases and Empty Jars Causes Misfortune and Hauntings!

Published Oktubre 14, 2015 by jptan2012

At the beginning of the year one of my cousins called me to ask for help, his brother – in – law, the elder brother of his wife, is having some tremendous financial problem and they believe that this is cause by the bad Feng Shui of his father – in – law’s burial site. He initially wanted to get several Vajrapani Ruels, believing that it is the only solution to their problem. But he also requested that I check on the burial site.

I was hesitant to take on the problem because Yin Feng Shui, which is the branch of Feng Shui that concerns burial sites or graveyards, is not my expertise. This is a very difficult branch of Feng Shui. However, my cousin insisted that I help; he said he is worried that he and his wife are also going to be affected soon. So I agreed, but when I ask where is the burial site they told me the name of the temple, and I found out that my cousin’s father – in – law was actually cremated and I knew right away that his ‘burial site’ is not the one that is causing the problem because if a person is cremated you actually kill all the chi and is the best way to ‘bury’ a person.

So what is causing the problem?

I decided to look at their chart, and it seems that everything is fine so I decided to do a Feng Shui audit.

They live near us, which is very good because I’m able to go to their place easily. When I entered their house, I notice that they have a lot of antique vases, which looks really looks beautiful and expensive. I commented on this and they said that they got it from their parent’s house (my cousin’s parents – in – law’s house) and when their father passed away and their mom moved in with them they got all the vases and big jars.vases

I decided to finish first the Feng Shui audit before I told them that I think that it is the vases and the jars that are causing their problems. I told them that vases and jars in Feng Shui symbolize good luck only if you fill them up with coins or faux gemstones or even faux gold. Without those things inside it, they may cause bad luck because it signifies emptiness. They questioned my finding because they said it has been with their family for quite some time and obviously their parents didn’t have any financial problems. This is when the matriarch of the family, my cousin’s mother – in – law clarified that back in their house they filled up those jars and vases with coins or crystals but she had her helper removed them when she moved in with his son and daughter – in – law. She didn’t realize that it would make a lot of difference.

I also added that sometimes empty jars will attract some spirits and make it their dwelling place, my cousin’s sister – in – law was surprised because she said her house help has been complaining about seeing a lady beside one of the jars! They thought that she was just either making up a story or that she might be imagining things because she can be quite superstitious.

My recommendation was for them to fill up with the jars and vases with coins or crystals or faux gold, and for the one where their helper saw the lady, they added a Vajrapani Ruel.

Sharing this now because they said they’re now back on their feet!
