Recently, a good friend called me up to ask me about a concern. Apparently they are having a financial problem, which started a few months ago. He assured me that they didn’t do any renovations and that everything in their house and office stayed pretty much the same.
I initially thought that it might be karmic, but in the course of our conversation, he mentioned that his neighbors on the left and right side of his townhouse, which is apparently owned by the same family who have migrated to Canada has left the houses empty. I knew immediately that this might be the problem, because I know for a fact that in the morning to afternoon nobody is in the house of my good friend because they are all either in school or office.
The empty houses beside them will have an excess of yin and because all through out the day nobody is inside their house, there will be too much yin also in their house and this can cause bad luck.
Normally, the cure for his is to arrange for a small bulb of light to be turn on all the time. For houses that don’t share the same wall, you can also arrange for a spotlight to be turn towards the side of that house or to be turned on that side of the house. However, these recommendations are not possible for my good friend.
And so the only recommendation is for them to put a Vajrapani Ruel or a Surangama Mantra Amuleton their wall nearest to that side of the house. The said amulets will provide the yang energy that will help neutralize the excessive yin energy.
I know that their finances will start getting better soon.

A reader who has since become a good friend gave me a CD produced by Lillian Too. It’s called Praises to Tara. According to my friend, DU, since she started listening and playing the CD her life has slowly improved. I personally don’t find this surprising because I’m familiar with the effects of mantra, even if one just listens to it.
But there is always something new to learn, and I’m really happy that DU gave me the CD as a gift, not only I find this kind of gift really wonderful but also listening to it I know I’ll also get some blessings. Also, Lillian Too’s voice is quite soothing, but she said something in the CD that made me think that sometimes I may be looking at the effects of Feng Shui, and writing it in a wrong way. The testimonials I write about mostly seem outrageously amazing, and maybe it is sometimes a function of how I write. However, as Lillian Too mentioned on her CD, that continuously practicing the Praises to Tara will not create an outrageous miracle, but instead it will create ordinary miracles that one day you will just realize that whatever you wish for has happened.
I think this is true not only with regards to the practice of Tara but rather it is true to all Buddhist rituals and Feng Shui cures. It is the ordinary miracles that are astounding because it is the one that helps you go through the process and learn along the way. I know that a lot of what I’ve written, especially the ones that I call WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT miracles, seems always so astounding, and there is no denying that some of them are, but the truth is most of them are ordinary miracles. Like LC’s new business and his father winning the elections. The truth is along the way they have to work hard and it took weeks or months before it happened. Also, about the wife finding love, it’s also a process and experiencing ordinary miracles before it became a true miracle! DU and Lillian Too made me realize that it is the ordinary miracles that are truly wonderful and astounding. It is what makes you grow as a person because it’s the process that makes you a better person.
I believe I’ve written a blog before about tempting fate. Today, I once again would like to share my personal story wherein I once again felt insusceptible to yin energies and tempted fate.
I know that being born under the sign of the Ox that despite of having a very good year I can be quite susceptible with several negative energies, not to mention that I’m also affected by the ‘Multiplying Star’ which is neither a good star or a bad star. However, I’ll be the first person to admit that I can be quite careless. I know that it is very bad to pass under the stairs and even though I know the serious effects of doing this, but I know that my Feng Shui amulets like the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra pendant(1) will protect me from the ill effects of doing these Feng Shui blunders.
During this time, I would also go with my friend and his brother to a cemetery and worst of all we would always go in the evening, which is a big Feng Shui blunder.
The cemetery is such a yin place and going there in the evening is a double whammy feng shui blunder.
I know this but because of the maybe I thought since I’ve been doing this for the long time that I would be ‘invincible’ to the bad effects of what we are doing.
In Feng Shui, it’s best to always avoid going to a yin place like a cemetery, however, if one must really go, its best to go in the morning or afternoon, but totally avoid going in the evening which is a yin time. I defied all this, and because of this I am now having some problems with a person who I have been dealing with for a long time but now decided to be totally unfair in the way he deals business.
The moral of the story, although continue practicing Feng Shui and reciting mantras will give you some continues protection. It’s best not to tempt fate.
