THE POWER OF PRAYER: A Christian Prayer Coupled with A Buddhist Prayer Made A Critical Day Run Really Smooth!

Published Abril 21, 2017 by jptan2012

Recently I have to travel to Davao as a favor to BM. We have to do some ceremonies or ritual at her husband’s office. I really don’t want to go because it will take a lot of time and it will eat up a day of my official business time. Anyway, Guru Lama told me to go and so I went.

The problem is this; I can only fly via Cebu Pacific in the morning and leave also on the same day. And so BM booked me on flight that leaves at around 430am. But I have to be in Davao at around 7am or 730am because that’s the time we should start the first part of the ritual, which will be followed by another ritual around 930am and then at 1130am.

If you are from the Philippines, you know that most domestic flights gets really delayed, not by an hour or two but sometimes even for 8 hours!!!! And so I was beginning to think that we might have made the wrong decision of booking my flight in the morning of when we should do the ritual. I expressed this concern to BM and she said to just pray and trust that everything will be smooth.

The day before my flight I thought of requesting my flight be rebooked for that night to I can come a day ahead and stay there for the night, but I realized that this is financially impractical because it will end up causing more than the original price, it will look like that two tickets were bought. Again, BM said let’s just pray and be positive. Of course, it was awkward that a reader should remind me of this because always tell my readers that being positive is always the first line of defense in Feng Shui.

On the day of my flight on the car going to the airport, I decided to hold my Vajrapani Ruel and I kept on chanting OM VAJRAPANI HUM. Whenever, I’ll chant 108 times, I’ll say a short prayer to Bodhisattva Vajrapani to help make it to Davao on time. When I get to the airport, I saw that the first Cebu Pac flight to Davao was delayed. And so I told the ground steward to just put me in the first flight, which was delayed because I really need to be in Davao by 7am. However, I was told that the first flight is fully booked and I cannot be accommodated. And so I continued to chant OM VAJRAPANI HUM while holding my Vajrapani Ruel. At the same time, relying on BM’s prayers that I will make it on time.

To my surprise, my flight was on time, and in fact we left Manila ahead of the first flight to Davao. And so I made it on time to Davao.

And we were able to push through with the ritual without a hitch.

Nevertheless, I still need to come back to Manila. Although I no longer have appointments that evening, I still need to want to fly back to Manila on time because I badly need rest and I still have a meeting the following day. But of course, I was not very hopeful that I’d get lucky. But guess what? My flight was on time on the dot. So I thought that Cebu Pacific flights are now on time. So I told that flight attendant that it’s good that flights now are on time because my morning flight and evening flight are both on time. The flight attendant smiled and replied in Filipino, “You just got lucky because delays are still really bad!”

No I did not get lucky, two flights in a day cannot be about luck, it was the power of BM’s prayers and the power of my prayers to Vajrapani Bodhisattva while holding the Vajrapani Ruel that made my flight fly on time and for everything to go smoothly that day.

Amulet 101 (B): Unseen Forces Might Prevent You From Getting Hold of An Amulet!

Published Hunyo 13, 2016 by jptan2012

I remember that several years back my aunt from my father side was trying to get hold of THE DIAMOND OF PERFECT WISDOM SUTRA AMULET. She was going through something at that time, and I was the one who suggested for her to get one, especially she was scheduled to go to China when we got to talk. And I told her of a temple that she can visit that has THE DIAMOND OF PERFECT WISDOM SUTRA AMULET that is blessed by a high ranking monk, but I also warned her that it might be quite difficult to go to that place. She said she will get it and called up her travel agency to include it in her itinerary.

NOTE: ‘The Diamond of Perfect Wisdom Sutra” is also called “The Diamond Sutra”, “The Vajra Cutter Perfection of Wisdom Sutra”, “The Vajra Sutra”, “The Vajra Cutter Sutra”. You can also read more about THE DIAMOND OF PERFECT WISDOM SUTRA by clicking on this link.

However, two weeks prior she was to fly for China, she found out that she lost her passport. So she sent out for her to be replaced, when she found out how much money she has to pay for it to come out on time, she wanted to back out. I told her that it is just a minor inconvenience since she can afford the said amount.

A week before she was to leave, her grandson got really ill, which prompted her to cancel her flight again. Again I said that she should just continue with her plan. Meanwhile, her problems is getting worse, unfortunately, I’m unable to share here the details of the said problem because of its sensitive nature.

Then on the day she is about to leave, she missed her flight; the only saving grace is that her daughter convinced her to simply take the next flight out. When she arrived in China she experienced several more ‘hindrances’ and she would call me long distance to ask me whether she should just cancel everything. I continued to tell her to just move on with her trip.

Then a day before she is set to go to the said temple, which is a plane ride away, she found that there was a big storm in the said area. She was traveling with some friends and her son (my cousin) and her daughter – in – law. Her friends got scared and cancelled. She set to do the same thing. Not wanting to risk her life, I said maybe she should simply cancel, but at the same time, I can’t help but feel that it seems she is experiencing a lot of hindrances for her to get the amulet. This convinced me all the more that she should get it. But, of course, I don’t want to be accused that I was the one who pushed her to go should she get into some accident. So as I said I told her not to go.

But then I called my Guru Lama, and his advised his to ask my aunt to go. I called my cousin, and he and his wife need no convincing, because they want to see the said place also. And maybe because they are young they are a bit more adventurous and don’t worry about the possibility of airplane accident because of the bad weather. I also talked to my aunt and she agreed to risk it and go. The flights were not cancelled anyway but they were warned beforehand that it would be rough flight. But to be completely honest, I knew then that she was already having second thoughts because she herself said, maybe she is not meant to get the amulet. And because I know that her problems are getting worse everyday, I told her maybe unseen forces are blocking her from getting the amulet, and all the more she should pursue in getting the amulet.

They told me later the flight was really bad and scary that even my adventurous cousin and his wife got really scared. Then when they got to the hotel in the said town, my auntie slipped at the lobby and her left foot had to be bandaged. She can still walk though albeit with some difficulty and has to be assisted. That night she called me to inform me about, I knew then that she really needs to get THE DIAMOND OF PERFECT WISDOM SUTRA AMULET because what is happening is definitely beyond normal and that unseen forces are stopping her from getting it. I already gave her some mantras that she can chant, and I added a few more.

It took her another two days before they were able to go to the said temple because of the heavy rains for two or three days. When she got to the temple, the Abbott of the said temple who I think is psychic told her that she her problems will end if she let my uncle wears the amulet. She was told that she couldn’t wear the amulet. So it was placed in a special pouch, they did some ritual, and she was told to bring it out only when her husband, my uncle can wear it.

So they set to come home. Then the airline lost one of their check – in luggage, which happens to be the one to have the amulet. She had trouble getting her luggage back, and to make the long story short, it required several more mantras and exactly 19 days before she got her luggage back. Thankfully the amulet is still inside.

She then asked her husband to wear the said amulet. About a month after wearing the amulet, her concerns started to get it straighten out!

I want to share this story with you because we should all realize that sometimes the more you need the amulet, the more ‘unseen forces’ might prevent it from happening. So the more one should pursue in getting it. These unseen forces can be negative elements like hungry ghost or evil spirits, or it can be karmic. Whatever the reason, you should remember that if you have problems acquiring an amulet all the more you should pursue in getting it.

How The Vajrapani Ruel Helped Fixed The Flight Problem of the Personal Plane of My Business Client and Publisher!

Published Pebrero 10, 2016 by jptan2012

I recently had to take a trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was very fortunate that my business client, who later on found out that I’m the person behind this blog and decided to publish my upcoming books, sent his personal private plane to pick up.

I was excited to take the private jet plane but little did I know that flying private could cause a lot of hassle. On the day of flight, I went to the airport at the designated time. The said private plane landed and was set to take off again after three hours. But as expected, they missed out on one document that created a lot of delay. Well, as it turn out this error prevented us from flying to KL at the designated time, and because our scheduled flight was in the evening, we have to postpone our flight for the following day.

I also had to help fix some of the documents since he really doesn’t have local staff in the Philippines. However, while fixing the needed documents I’m met with one problem after the other. At this time, so as not to have problems with customs, I have decided to put some of my amulets in my ‘check – in luggage’ although technically flying private this is really not called ‘check – in’. My Vajrapani Ruel is one of those amulets I have decided to put inside my luggage. Since I’m encountering a lot of problems in fixing the needed additional documents, I decided to get my Vajrapani Ruel and while holding it on my left hand I chanted OM VAJRAPANI HUM 108 times. And voila all hurdles seems to have ease up and we were given the permission to fly!

Vajrapani Ruel

The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It’s important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless. The Vajrapani Ruel itself is only about 1 to 2 inches and it varies from one ruel to another.

Mine is just one simple story that shows that the Vajrapani Ruel is not for financial luck, although a lot of the stories here has something to do with financial and wealth luck, it only shows that the Vajrapani Ruel is simply a powerful amulet that can help ease any problems.

Vajrapani Ruel Stories (11): Acquiring a Property, Avoiding Problems Brought About By A Natural Calamity, and Life Simply Becomes Easier All Because of A Wonderful Gift of Luck!

Published Hulyo 8, 2015 by jptan2012

Remember my post entitled ‘8 SIMPLE STEPS TO GIVE THE GIFT OF LUCK’ where I talked about my Cebu – based reader who gave out a Vajrapani Ruel to a friend? Today, I would like to share how MS, my Cebu – based reader’s friend benefitted from the Vajrapani Ruel.

MS was really happy that by giving out the Vajrapani Ruel, although it is quite pricey, she was able to help a her friend. I don’t know her friend’s name, so for the purpose of this blog, we will just call him HF.

The reason that MS gave HF the Vajrapani Ruel is because she took pity with HF for experiencing a lot of problems. So even if the Vajrapani Ruel is a little pricey, she wholeheartedly, generously, and sincerely gave her very own Vajrapani Ruel to her friend.

I believe that at that time HF was experiencing a lot of problems, however, because of the ruel, his problems slowly ceased to exist. But HF has some very significant stories that she shared with MS who then shared those stories with me.

According to MS, before having the Vajrapani Ruel, HF was acquiring a property in – front of his already existing property. However, it seems like the owner was not interested in selling him property. HF would always chase after the owner and on top of that the price quoted was ridiculously high that it seems like he really wasn’t interested in selling it to him. On top of that, HF also knows that there are a lot of people who are vying for the said property and it seems like he has the least opportunity to avail of it.Acquiring Property

It seems like an almost hopeless case but when HF got hold of the Vajrapani Ruel, things started to turn around. No longer actively pursuing the property, the owner started calling HF. It was now his turn to chase after HF. But that’s not the real miracle; the miracle is when HF was able to get the property at a low price, certainly, if I understand it correctly, lower than he was willing to pay for it. On top of that, the trust that the owner showed was also short of miraculous. Even if HF hasn’t fully paid for the said property, the owner or I should say the former of the property gave HF the signed copy of the Deed of Sale and all the other necessary documents that would make HF the rightful owner of the property.

The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It's important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless.

But the Vajrapani Ruel miraculous stories of HF don’t end there. More recently, HF who is also from Cebu has to fly to another province. Despite of the strong typhoon that hit Visayas recently, their flight was almost uneventful, meaning they didn’t feel the effects of typhoon even if it was raining when they arrived at the province. They need to do a few more travelling to reach their final destination, but if it rains, their trip will surely be hindered. I’m not so sure whether HF did what MS instructed him to do, that in case of in need of help from the Vajrapani Ruel that he should chant the mantra OM VAJRAPANI HUM. But nevertheless, HF firmly believes that the Vajrapani Ruel really did worked for him, because the rain stopped just when they needed it to stop, and they were able to arrive safely to their final destination. It only started raining when they got to the final destination.

Now HF is bugging as to what really is the Vajrapani Ruel, because it did worked so well for him.

The Vajrapani Ruel Stories (5): In the Nick of Time and Money Problems Solved with the Help of the ‘Hated’ Gift

Published Pebrero 13, 2015 by jptan2012

money-problemsToday, I would like to share with you two different Vajrapani Ruel stories or personal testimonies of readers who have acquired the Vajrapani Ruel. There are two different stories, and one was just shared with me earlier by a reader turned friend.

For regular readers of this blog, you would know how rare and precious a Vajrapani Ruel is, given that it was last made 40 – 50 years ago. That’s a generation ago!!! I know that the Vajrapani Ruel is one of the most powerful ‘amulet’ in Buddhism for it is made of 70 to 90 different ingredients that includes precious first class Buddhist relics. But even then I’m still a little surprised as to how fast the testimonies started pouring in, like EL’s and JS’s stories both of which I have shared here on my blog.

Reader turned friend GS was one of the few people who got the Vajrapani Ruel even before I wrote about it. Unlike JS and EL she doesn’t have a spectacular story to share but she believes that the Vajrapani Ruel that she acquired solved a lot of the small nuances that she normally experience in her daily life.

Today, she shared with me again another Vajrapani Ruel story that although may seem petty, she believes exhibits the wonderful power of the Vajrapani Ruel. I’ll start off with her story before sharing MC’s story, which is short of miraculous in solving his money problems.

GS has a meeting in Quezon City and she also has a flight to catch. Her meeting in QC was with her biggest client so she was unable to cancel it, despite of the terrible traffic that we experienced in the Metro today. Her flight was at around 6:30PM but her meeting finished at around 4:15PM, and considering that she was supposed to be at the airport 3 hours before her flight she knew that there was not much hope. In fact, her assistant told her to just rebooked her flight. But she decided to hold the Vajrapani Ruel on her palm while driving and she got to the airport at 6PM! Just before the check – in counter closed. Everybody who lives in Metro Manila knows that for a Friday, payday, Valentine’s weekend, and on rush hour, this is quite an impossible feat! But she made it and she said it was because of the Vajrapani Ruel. In fact, she called me as was I planning to write about MC’s story.

If GS’s story is quite simple, MC’s story is short of being miraculous. MC was one of the few people who got the Vajrapani Ruel right after I wrote about it. A few days ago, MC called me to share with me her personal testimony about it.

MC is 26 years – old fourth child of a brood of six. MC has been requesting for the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant but because of production delays, I advised him not to get it. When he read about the Vajrapani Ruel he decided to get it instead.

As it turns out, he bought it for his sister who was left by her husband and was experiencing so many financial problems. According to MC, PY her sister is the best sister anyone can request for, because she helped their parents send the other siblings to school. So when MC found out that PY has been having financial problems because she is single handedly sending her 3 kids to school and rearing them up, he and his other siblings have been helping out heir eldest sister who have been really nice towards them.

However, like other financial problems, the bills and the problems seem to just keep on piling up. MC desperately wants to help PY and he cannot think of any other way but to help create good opportunity for her. As mentioned he initially decided to get the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant, but in the end settled for the Vajrapani Ruel.

MC gave the Vajrapani Ruel as gift to his eldest sister, PY. PY didn’t hide the fact that she hated the gift especially she felt that they could have used simply used the money for something more practical. But to simply amuse MC she decided to carry it anyway. That was several weeks ago.

Just recently, MC called me up to share with me that they totally believe, and by they he refers to his family and even PY, that the Vajrapani Ruel did worked for his sister. According to MC, her sister PY just recently got promoted and bypassed 2 levels up, so the additional pay is very significant. But more than that, PY was informed by the parents of her ex – husband, that they just recently found out that their son has not been supporting his children, and that they would like to help and they in fact has sort of disowned their son.

It has to be noted that PY has maintained good relationship with her parents – in – law despite of her relationship with their son getting really sour. This is because her ex – husband’s parents, according to MC, has always been fair and really nice towards MC.

Create Your Own Luck with the Light Offering

Published Pebrero 9, 2015 by jptan2012
These days, candle light offerings are only usually done during special occasions or for daily light offerings. Photo was uploaded from Google Images.

These days, candle light offerings are only usually done during special occasions or for daily light offerings.
Photo was uploaded from Google Images.

I totally debated whether to write this post or not, because I can’t seem to find the actual story on the net, however, I thought I will because it is substantiated by similar stories.

It is said, that another passenger was supposed to be on the TransAsia Airways Flight GE235, however 20 minutes before he was about to check – in at the TransAsia Airways check – in counter at the airport, he received a call from one of his biggest clients. Apparently, they talked for quite some time, and since the matter was considered to be quite important he decided to cancel his flight.

The rest is history. Because of that he was saved from the tragic accident that could have cost him his life or at the very least give him a very traumatic experience.

What saved him? Chance? Pure luck? But what is luck anyway? Do we create luck?

If you asked the mom, she would say that it was the Buddhas that saved her son. The mother, being a devout Buddhist would always go to the temple to donate an annual light offering. This is so that images of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas will have a light offering 24/7 for one whole year. The mom shares that she usually do this on the first day of the Chinese New Year, but on that day, something prompted him to got to the temple and make the annual light offering ahead of the Chinese New Year, and she also decided to dedicate the merits of the annual light offering to his son. When she and her son got to talk about it, they realized it was at the time that she was making the annual light offering that her son also got the call! Unbelievable?LIGHT OFFERING5

The truth is I have been trying to look for this particular news on the net, but I can’t seem to find it. Maybe it wasn’t considered major news, but a Buddhist monk, showed me the news on YouTube. But it’s in Chinese. For readers in Taiwan, you might have heard of this particular story.

I decided to write about it anyway because I totally believe this is true and it can be substantiated by other similar stories.

Light offering is a very common practiced amongst Buddhist. There is the daily light offering, weekly, monthly and annual. It is believed that one gets a lot of good luck or good karmic merits if one offers light to the Buddhas. This is why most Buddhist homes will have an artificial candle on their altars. But if one sincerely offers light to the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or Deities or Arhats in the temple, it is believed that this merit is doubled because most temples rely on donations.

If you sincerely offer light to Buddhas at the temple, you will get merits that will bring you good life, good health, wealth, and peace of mind.

Nowadays, artificial light are used. You can see the smaller lights lighting the image of the small Buddhas, those are usually for annual light offerings. using artificial light does not make the act less powerful. It's the sincerity that counts.

Nowadays, artificial light are used. You can see the smaller lights lighting the image of the small Buddhas, those are usually for annual light offerings. using artificial light does not make the act less powerful. It’s the sincerity that counts.

As I mentioned I decided to share this story even if I don’t have the necessary links or pictures to prove it because I totally believe that the story is entirely possible but more than that there are other stories that can substantiate it. Let me share one here.

IP, is a 58 years old housewife, mother, and grandmother. She has a good life and practically has everything that she has or want and can never ask for anything anymore. All her children are well educated and are very respectful towards her. In fact, when she never prays to the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas for anything anymore, because she believes to ask for more is an act of extreme selfishness. But everyday she chants the mantras to dedicate its merits to other people and to give thanks for her good life.

However, one day bad luck indirectly happened to her, the doctor told her daughter who was pregnant that she will have to terminate her pregnancy because of some complications. If she doesn’t terminate her pregnancy, she might die. According to her it’s not a choice between mom and baby because the baby will surely die anyway. Her son – in – law decided that she will save his wife and encouraged IP’s daughter to terminate the pregnancy, but IP’s daughter decided that she wants to keep the baby and in the process risk both their lives. The doctor then again reiterated that it’s not a choice; the baby will die no matter what.

IP was leaning towards encouraging her daughter to terminate the pregnancy because she doesn’t want to lose her. However, the Buddhist in her doesn’t believe in mercy killing, but neither does she want to lose her daughter. But everybody else in the family, especially her son – in – law has decided to let her daughter to terminate the pregnancy, and it is only IP (having second thoughts) and her daughter who doesn’t believe in terminating the pregnancy. Please note that the daughter was firm in her decision and IP was more or less torn on what to decide.

Another sample of the light offering.

Another sample of the light offering.

IP decided to consult a Buddhist monk, this particular monk believes that IP and the baby inside her are both repaying a bad karma that they did in their past life. It is because of this decided to offer light to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of various temples, and she dedicated all the merits of this act to her daughter and most especially to her unborn grandchild.

Slowly, the doctors of her daughter became puzzled because they were absolutely sure of their findings, but as time goes by the prognosis becomes better. The baby in the stomach is now a 13 – year – old boy, and IP and her whole family believes that it was the merit of the light offerings that IP did that saved her grandchild and daughter. By the way, one of the doctor who was a born – again Christian before slowly turned into Buddhist and now goes to the same temple where IP and her family goes.

I decided I want to share this story also because we should realize that although I’m a firm believer of the power of amulets or Feng Shui charms like the Vajrapani Ruel and a lot more, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas has provided ways for her to be able to tap into their blessings simply by showing our sincerity. Even without the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant, the Vajrapani Ruel, the various amulets, one can still create luck for oneself by sincerely offering sincere acts to the Buddhas.

Improve Your Work Feng Shui with the Seed Syllables of Buddhism

Published Mayo 1, 2012 by jptan2012

In my past posts I talked about the different FENG SHUI TIPS FOR THE WORKPLACE (1 and 2), and about the different FENG SHUI TIPS FOR THE WORKING PERSON. Today, allow me to share how one can improve their Work or Career Feng Shui by using symbols use in Buddhism.

I personally use some of the things that I’m going to suggest here and I found them to be truly powerful that enables me to accomplish the things that I need to accomplish even those that I think are unachievable Furthermore, it helps maintain my ‘sanity’ and not give into pressure.

One of the most common and very powerful Buddhist symbols that I always use for my work is the Victory Banner. I’ve discussed about the Victory Banner before and I will not discuss about it here. If you want to know more about the Victory Banner please read the following posts – FENG SHUI TIPS FOR THE WORK PLACE (2) and THE VICTORY BANNER: A POWERFUL FENG SHUI TOOL FOR CAREER SUCCESS.

The other Buddhist tools that you can use to help you with your work are by tapping into the power of Mantras! I’ve wrote about mantras entitled – MANTRA: THE POWER TO TAP THE SYMBOLIC SOUND, SCRIPT, AND THOUGHT – please do read more about it for you to be able to understand more how they work. But also equally powerful with the mantras are the seed syllables.

Seed Syllables are basically shortened version of the mantras. However, they in itself are very powerful and create a different form or energy on its own. There are different kinds of seed syllables and I won’t be able to share them all here. However, there are different seed syllables that are works well for the different field of work or work environment.

The one that I use a lot is the seed syllable HRIH. It’s a wonderful amulet for those who are in marketing and public relations (like me); it’s also very good for those who are in advertising, legal profession (lawyer, judge, police), sales, journalism. The seed syllable HRIH has the ability to ensure that it wearer will have the ability to overcome any hostile and emotionally stressful environment.

Another powerful seed syllable is BAM. It’s a seed syllable that is good in protecting people who deal with nature or environment a lot. It has the power to block off negative energies brought about by the beings in the third dimension. It is also a powerful tool against unintentional evil eye brought about by envious and jealous people. Therefore it’s a good charm for people who hold powerful position. It’s also very good for those who’s work involve the environment like – rigging, mining, quarrying, even construction, environmental scientist, agriculture, aquaculture, etc.

Next is HUM. HUM is one of the most common syllable, which can be found in a number of powerful mantras like OM MANI PADME HUM or OM PADMO UNSHNISHA VIMALE HUM PHAT or OM VAJRASATTVA HUM. HUM is a very powerful seed syllable of protection. People whose job involve a lot of traveling or involve some delicate situation will benefit from this seed syllable. If you’re a pilot, a captain of a ship, a flight and ship steward, traveling sales agent, military, tour guide, you’ll benefit a lot from this seed syllable.

Though not exactly a seed syllable but more of a mantra, I would like to include OM AH HUM here. The mantra OM AH HUM has the power to clear our your surroundings from negative chi, so if you work in a hospital, morgue, cemetery, it is advisable for you to wear the symbolic script of the mantra OM AH HUM.

HOW DO YOU WEAR THE SAID SYLLABLES?

You can buy it as a jewelry or you can simply print a copy, enclose it a case and carry it with you.
