Today’s Lunar Eclipse Affecting the Harvest Moon Signifies Double Bad Luck!

Published September 16, 2016 by jptan2012

I’m on the road today stuck in traffic reviewing some messages when I remembered that there is a lunar eclipse later. Then I remembered that yesterday was just the Mid – Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival, which means we still have the Harvest Moon today, and with eclipse happening which will last 4 hours, signifies something quite not nice.

I decided to write this while stuck in traffic and hope to be able to upload this using a pocket Wi-Fi. Hope it works.

If you were familiar with Feng Shui you would know that eclipse often affects the good chi of the universe, this usually signifies some sort of worldwide bad luck happenings. It can be war, weird weather occurrence, world market disturbance, etc. On top of that, if we are out when an eclipse happens, we will also get affected on a personal level. For those who are experiencing some bad luck, it is very important to avoid being out of the house during a lunar eclipse or even a solar eclipse. You should even avoid opening your windows and look at the eclipse.

The effect of the lunar eclipse happening later is worse than an ordinary eclipse. Why? Because it happens right after the Mid – Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival and as you might have read, Mid – Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival is actually a celebration of good harvest. Feng Shui experts have also taken this as an opportunity to ‘cleanse’ or renew oneself from the negative chi of the previous month, which is the Hungry Ghost Month.

For an eclipse to happen right after the Mid – Autumn Festival signifies that there might be some be some crisis or calamity that is about to happen soon. On a personal level the effect of this eclipse will be most likely has something to do with financial luck or wealth luck or bad luck. But of course, if you already have a problem and you are out of the house while the eclipse is happening, then chances that problem will intensify, regardless whether the problem is financial or personal.

Furthermore, although technically not covered by Feng Shui or Eastern Astrology, base on Western Astrology we are still under the Mercury Retrograde, so this Mercury Retrograde should further impede some problems and add to the negative effects of a lunar eclipse happening on a harvest moon. This also signifies that it may affect relationship problems other than those what was mentioned above.

The best things to do is stay indoor and close your windows and doors. Whether indoor or if you can’t avoid being outdoor while the eclipse is happening, it is best to totally protected. For this, I would strongly suggest for you to wear the Kalachakra symbol made of gold or jade, Vajrapani Ruel, or Surangama Mantra Amulet. If you don’t have these, you can wear the symbolic script of the manta of Buddha Amitabha, or Bodhisattva Vajrapani, or the Deity Kalachakra.

Half – A – Million Pesos Financial Luck for the Husband; A Career Luck of Promotion for the Only Child; And Continuous Flow of Money Luck and Wisdom Luck of Creativity for A Reader Who Got the Vajrapani Ruel and the Illness Suppression Amulet: Another Personal Testimony of A Reader!

Published August 10, 2016 by jptan2012

There are a lot of people like, Angie, whose personal testimony we are sharing today, who have wished for luck not just for themselves but also for their loved ones. However, Angie herself profess that she claims them even before it happens, but at the same time she remains selfless and humble.

Honestly I don’t know why would I start of by describing Angie, who requested that her family name not be shown, maybe it is because somewhere deep inside me I know that her nice predisposition in life has something to do with how fast and effective both the Vajrapani Ruel and the Illness Suppression works for her.

Angie and her family has received some financial luck or wealth luck, career luck, and money luck. But this is not the first time it happened to her. She previously has written to me about her personal miraculous testimonies about the Vajrapani Ruel and the Illness Suppression Amulet. Some of you might even remember her because her first email is a constant item in the ‘Most Read List’.

The first two articles written about and by Angie are the following:

I have received another email from Angie, and this time she shares with us about her husband financial luck who got more than half – a – million pesos (Php 500,000.00) from his stocks investment. Angie also shares about how her son got promoted, and lastly, she shares about her own miracles. But I would not further dilute it by writing it, it is better if you read it straight from Angie’s very own words. Below is the email of Angie which I copy – pasted here.

 Hi JP,

I would like to share more good news about my Vajrapani Ruel and Illness & Accident Suppression Amulet. Recently, my husband profited more than half a million pesos from his investments in the stock market. My son, who is a Director at a multinational credit/debit card company, was promoted to a higher position and will be posted soon in Australia as an expat. This is because he was able to exceed his target this year; signing up new, big accounts with the big banks which previously, his company couldn’t get. My son’s wife is a grade school teacher at an international school and has an online business that has been growing by leaps and bounds in the last 4 months. They both just vacationed in the US for 2 weeks. Meanwhile, money is continuously flowing into my life from expected and unexpected sources. These are not very huge amounts, but enough to enable me to buy what I want to buy so that I am continuously able to do what I love to do.

But what is more important is that I am getting new ideas everyday to expand my career. It is as though I am being guided by an unseen hand to pursue new ventures and meet new people who can help me expand my career. I will keep you updated on this phase of my career.

Last Aug. 1, we had dinner with our son and he told us that he was absent from work that day because when he woke up that morning, he had fever and LBM but as the day passed, he got better. He said that he took medicines and that he was fine. Next day, I read your warnings about the August Hungry Ghost Month and that the unlucky stars are now in the center of the house, so I decided to give him my Illness & Accident Suppression Amulet even if he doesn’t believe in it. He and his wife are born-again believers. I told him to keep it with him just until the end of the month. I am hoping that he will keep it beyond that, so I am now getting another one for myself.

I believe that both amulets have enabled me to exclude illness last month. Although I was feeling low energy and was about to get sick, I consulted with my doctor in time to get a new supplement that enabled me to have a strong immune system. Last year, when I experienced the same symptoms, my doctor prescribed many supplements and treatments that failed to work at first but eventually healed me after 3 months of hit and miss diagnoses. The Illness & Accident Suppression Amulet really works!

Many spiritual teachers and websites have also issued warnings about this month ranging from very strong cosmic energies bombarding the earth, to aligning of certain planets, etc. Have you noticed that there are a lot of accidents, killings, and deaths occurring now here and abroad? As one of your readers, I am constantly grateful that I was led to your blog so I can find the cures and remedies for these negative external forces. Thank you, JP, for your advice and for your blog. You are a great blessing to all of us. May I request not to mention my name if you will post my letter because not everyone who knows me will understand what we are doing.

In Feng Shui A Little Common Sense Will Help Appease Our Worries!

Published August 2, 2016 by jptan2012

Several months ago somebody called me who is quite frantic, because her prayer bead or mantra bead or mala broke while she was using it. She was really scared that this is an omen of extreme bad luck. In the same manner, I was reminded of another call that happened a few years back, a friend called me because his citrine with nine – eyed DZI bracelet broke just when he was about to take it off. He became worried also that this is also an omen of financial bad luck.

But you see the lady who called me about the broken mala has been using her mala for more than 10 years already. And the guy has had his citrine beads with nine – eyed DZI bracelet for almost 2 years, and he takes it off and wears it everyday. So you see, common sense dictates that there is no omen. It is really just bound to happen because of wear and tear.

Nevertheless, I cannot blame them from panicking, because a lot of Feng Shui writers will attribute such occurrence as an omen. And in some way, they may be correct, but this is where common sense should come in.

If you have been using your mala for more than 10 years it is bound to break, maybe earlier if the quality of the string used is not so good. Beaded bracelet needs to be replaced every year because the garterized thread or nylon thread used in those bead bracelets if stretched everyday will only last about a year, sometimes even shorter if you live in a hot weather and if the quality is bad. So you see, they are bound to break, and not every breakage is a sign of bad omen.

When should you worry, if the incident of the breakage is somewhat can’t be explained. Like a 2 – week old mala breaking off, or a bracelet breaking off without an apparent reason, that’s when it should be considered as a bad omen. What should you do if this happened? Consult a Feng Shui or if one is not available, take a sea salt or rock salt bath to help take away the negative energy.

Chant – A – Mantra (3g): Daily Mantras to Chant – Wealth Luck, Financial Luck, and Money Luck Granting Mantras!

Published July 25, 2016 by jptan2012

Today, I would like to further share with you some more mantras that I chant daily. With this one, I would like to focus on one of the major concern of more people, and that is to increase their wealth luck, or financial luck, or money luck.

Although not included here, because I have previously written about it already in this series, it should be noted that chanting the Mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani – OM VAJRAPANI HUM – is also a very good wealth, money and financial luck enhancement mantra. Even not really about chanting mantras, a lot of my readers who has acquired the Vajrapani Ruel has experienced wonderful miraculous stories that totally boost their financial, wealth or money luck.

Chanting the mantra of Vajrapani Bodhisattva and the following mantras will help enhance your wealth luck or financial luck or money luck:

OM TARE TUTTARE TURE DANAM ME DADA SOHA (Mantra of the Wealth Granting Tara) – Wealth Granting Tara is another manifestation of Goddess Tara, chanting her mantra will help grant you showers of financial blessing.

wealth granting tara

WEALTH GRANTING TARA is not a very popular but very powerful manifestaion of GODDESS TARA. There are very few images of the WEALTH GRANTING TARA in the market or on the net. So far, one of the best rendition is that of Lillian Too’s WEALTH GRANTING TARA, which is available in WOFS or World of Feng Shui.

OM SHRI VASUDHARA RATNA NIDHANA KASHETRI SOHA (Mantra of Goddess Vasudhara) – Goddess Vasudhara is another manifestation of the Goddess Tara. According to the sutra, a generous and compassionate man who needs wealth to help the poor, requested the then human Shakyamuni Buddha (Sakyamuni Buddha) for financial abundance. The Historical Buddha, Shakyamuni, then gave him the mantra of Goddess Vasudhara. But more than the material abundance, chanting this mantra will help attain spiritual growth as well.VASUDHARA-TIBETAN-PROSPERITY-DEITY-BUDDHIST-TANGKA-THANGKA-PAINTING-3

OM PADMO KRODA ARYA DZAMBHALA HRIH DAYA HUM PHAT (Mantra of White Dzambhala) – There are different Dzambhala’s, (also spelled as Zambala, or Jambala), there is red, yellow, black, green and also white. I have talked about the Yellow Dzambhala. Like the mantra of the Yellow Dzambhala, chanting the mantra of the White Dzambhala will help enhance your wealth luck and give you material abundance.white dzambhala

Chant – A – Mantra (3f): Daily Mantras to Chant – Protective Mantras!

Published July 19, 2016 by jptan2012

Today, allow me to continue talking about the daily mantras that I chant, which you can also adopt for yourself. I know there are a lot, and if you are newbie in chanting mantras you can start with a few first and gradually work your way up to chanting more mantras.

All mantras are protective, but like the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, some mantras have a special characterization. Some of the well-known protective mantras are the Mantra of Buddha Amitabha, Mantra of Bodhisattva Vajrapani and the Mantra of Bodhisattva Sangharama. But of course, Vajrapani Bodhisattva and Sangharama Bodhisattva are also known for business, money, career, financial and wealth growth, especially Vajrapani Bodhisattva. The many people who have the Vajrapani Ruel or the readers of this blog would know that by now.

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you would know already that I always take the stance that one should protect oneself first before enhancing one’s luck. But with mantras, you automatically do both. That’s the beauty of it.

Now, allow me to share with you other protective mantras that I chant everyday!

These mantras are the following:

  1. OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT (Mantra of Tantric Deity Kalachakra) – the Kalachakra symbol is one of the most powerful protective symbols in the Buddhist tradition. It actually consists of the 10 – syllable symbolic script compressed together. However, when chanting it’s mantra, you OH AH HUM, so that one cleanse oneself first of negative karma before invoking the protection from the powerful Tantric Deity Kalachakra. Simply wearing a Kalachakra will certainly protect you from both physical and esoteric harm. But chanting the mantra daily will also imbibe you with the same amount of protection, and having both will certainly double or event triple it’s protective effect. Aside from that chanting or wearing its symbol will also protect you from negative energies that may prevent you from achieving your utmost financial or wealth potential.
  2. NAMO SAPTANAM SAMYAKSAM BUDDHA KOTINAM TADYATHA OM CHALE CHULE CHUNDI SOHA (Mantra of Bodhisattva Cundi Avalokitesvara / Bodhisattva Chundi Avalokitesvara) – Cundi Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (also spelled as Chundi Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva) is another manifestation of Bodhisattva Kuan Yin or Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. Cundi Avalokitesvara is sometime called Cundi Kuan Yin (Cundi Guan Yin). Bodhisattva Chundi Avalokitesvara is usually depicted with 18 arms with various implements. Chanting the mantra of Bodhisattva Cundi Avalokitesvara will provide you with a protection from business and political problems. It will be great that this mantra be chanted to help protect you from office politics and also hostile business atmosphere. The mantra is also spelled NAMO SAPTANAM SAMYAKSAM BUDDHA KOTINAM TADYATHA OM CALE CULE CUNDI SOHA.CUNDI AVALOKITESVARA
  3. OM BHRUM SOHA OM AMARITA AYUR DADAY SOHA (Mantra of Buddha Namgyalma) – Namgyalma Buddha is another Buddha that is considered as a very powerful protector. Chanting the mantra daily will ensure that you are always free from danger. The mantra is sometimes spelled as OM BHRUM SOHA OM AMARITA AYUR DADE SOHA or OM BHRUM SOHA OM AMARITA AYUR DADI SOHA. Daday/Dade/Dadi is pronounced as ‘the – die’.NAMGYALMA
  4. TADYATHA OM ANALÈ ANALÈ KHASAMÈ KHASAMÈ BHAYRÈ BHAYRÈ SAUMA SAUMÈ SARVA BUDDHA ADISHTANA ADISHTÎTÈ SOHA TADYATHA OM USHINISHA SITATAPUTRA HUM PHAT HUM MAMA HUM NÌ SOHA (Mantra of the White Umbrella Goddess – Ushinisha Sitataputra) – Chanting this mantra will provide one with long life and good health. It prevents accidents and help prevents you from falling ill. It does protect one from evil or negative energies.WHITE UMBRELLA GODDESS
  5. NAMO WEI TUO PU SA (Mantra of Bodhisattva Wei Tuo) – Wei Tuo Bodhisattva is a Bodhisattva known for protective the dharma and the sutras. If you are a student of dharma, chanting the mantra of Wei Tuo Bodhisattva will block the negative forces that might want to prevent you from being a serious dharma student. Chanting the mantra will also help protect you from esoteric harm.Skanda-Weituo 3b

Chant – A – Mantra (1): A Reintroduction to the Wonderful Benefit of Chanting A Mantra!

Published July 5, 2016 by jptan2012

Today, I would like to start a new series about chanting mantras. I felt this is an important topic / series to write because a lot of my readers are hooked with getting amulets. I know that the Vajrapani Ruel enjoys a certain amount of popularity amongst my readers and it has garnered a lot of o personal testimonies attesting to its miraculous power and effectiveness. However, the sad truth is that the Vajrapani Ruel is quite pricey for a lot of people, and more than that it is also relatively quite limited in the sense that it is not forever that we can have it. Not to mention the difficulty in making it and smuggling it out of Tibet, which is under the Mainland Chinese (China) rule that doesn’t allow it to be made or be brought out. So if you have the Vajrapani Ruel, consider yourself to be very lucky.

But as I said, sometimes we are very caught up to having the Vajrapani Ruel that if can’t have it we sort of go into some sort of despair. That shouldn’t be the attitude because the truth is the Buddha Himself has given us enough tools to assist us in our daily life. We have the sutras and at the same times we have the mantras.

It was several years back since I first introduced the power of mantras to my readers, and I will not write about it again. If you are a new reader and is not familiar with the power of mantras, I suggest you revisit my old post about it entitled – MANTRA: THE INSTURMENT TO TAP THE POWER OF SYMBOLIC SOUND, SCRIPT, AND THOUGHT – to know more about it.

But what I would like to reiterate today is that chanting mantras, again like reciting the sutras, should be done comfortably loud. That is because of the same reasons that I have discussed in RECITE A SUTRA 6: WHY DO WE HAVE TO LOUDLY RECITE SUTRAS? However, more that the reason discussed in the preceding post, reciting it loudly also helps us get attuned with the Buddha or Bodhisattva whose mantra we are chanting.

Whenever we chant a mantra, it is like an offering to the Buddha or Bodhisattva whose mantra we are chanting, but at the same time it is also like a call for help and establishing a link or a ‘relationship’ with them.

mala

In chanting a mantra, it is best to be use a mala so that you can keep track of the number of times you’ve chanted a mantra.

Chanting a mantra can make wonders, and this blog has been testament to what are the powers of chanting a mantra can do. But now that I’m actively writing about it again, I hope to show you more of these wonderful miracles that simply chanting a mantra can do.

A lot of people are concern about properly pronouncing the mantra. I always say that they shouldn’t sweat it that much. Right pronunciation is important but it will come to you sooner or later, what is more important is the sincere heart in chanting the mantras. I suggest that you read the post entitled – A HERMIT AND A MONK: A LESSON IN RECITING YOUR MANTRA! – as to what Lama Zopa Rinpoche has to say about pronunciation of the mantras.

But what are the benefits of chanting a mantra:

  1. Protection.
  2. Wealth, financial, money blessings.
  3. Good health.
  4. Family luck and/or relationship luck.
  5. Happiness.
  6. Peace.
  7. Miracles will happen more frequently.

I also decided to write this series because the previous mantras that I have shared before are anchored on the Buddha or Bodhisattva, which is really the proper way to present a mantra. However, having a predominantly Christian reader, I felt this approach is not very effective in making you understand it. So I will present the mantras on a per need basis. And whenever possible I will still present stories, real personal testimonies of either readers or friends or families who have used the mantra. I will also present combination mantras for more effective and swifter results.

One last thing, simply chanting a mantra will have an effect, but remember, chanting it under deep meditative state give you the ultimate effectiveness.

Recite A Sutra (6): Why Do We Have Loudly Recite Sutras?

Published July 4, 2016 by jptan2012

One of the most common question people ask me is as to why do we need to recite sutras loudly? And is silently reciting it will not have any effect?

First, the Buddha or Shakyamuni (also spelled as Sakyamuni) Buddha himself said that merely having a sutra around us would already have some effect. Or simply holding a sutra will already give us some blessing; so silently reciting it will definitely have some merits that may translate to wonderful blessings.

But why do Buddhist monks encourage us to chant it loudly or with voice? The truth is I myself believe in loudly reciting the sutra. And by loudly I don’t mean that we have to recite it at the top of our voice, but we don’t murmur either, it has to be recited with voice and as comfortably loud as possible. The key word here is comfortable. I believe in this because it is what my Guru Lama told me to do, and as my study about Buddhism went deeper I began to see the merit in loudly reciting the sutra, and I also saw that it is what the Buddha himself taught us to do, and it is what the Buddha also did when He still has a physical body.

But again why do we have to do it?

Buddhists believe in unseen entities and hungry ghosts. These unseen beings may be former humans or other spirit beings. They are simply around us, even though we don’t see and feel them. However, they may see or feel us.

We recite the sutra loudly primary because of them. Some of these beings lives in a lower realm, and they might not be able to access sutras. By loudly reciting a sutra they get to ‘hear’ the sutra and learn more about Buddhism. We even bless them simply by loudly reciting a sutra. And by blessing them we also get to gain more merits. And by continue reciting the sutra loudly, we might even help these beings get reborn in a better realm, and if we become that channel we will also gain bigger merits.

Furthermore, by loudly reciting the sutras, we vocally utter the very words of the Buddha, and even if it has been translated to English or any other language, there are still some degrees that those are the very words of the Buddha some 2,500 to 3,000 years ago. And simply doing that Heavenly Beings gets attracted by those words and listen to us, thus they hover over us and they also become instruments in giving us more blessings. They will ‘conspire’ to do what is best for us.

The above two reasons are what the Buddha Himself said in His sutras. So you see, whether we recite it loudly for heavenly beings to ‘bless’ us, or we recite it loudly to help bless those in the lower realms, at the end either of the two we still get blessed!

I know that when reciting the sutras, some people find it quite weird, because it is like reading a storybook. In a way it is because we get to read the real stories of what happened before and what the Buddha directly taught His disciples. But that’s the beauty of it, because we get to ‘witness’ thru reading the Buddha’s ways.

One reason I started this ‘Recite A Sutra’ series is because I believe you, as a reader will get a lot of blessings if we simply recite a sutra. The blessings that we get in reciting a sutra may vary from wealth luck to financial luck or money luck, or from family luck to descendant luck. The protection luck that we get is also enormous, regardless of the sutra that we recite.

But of course it is very important that we treat the sutra, no matter if the printing is bad, as a very holy object that it is.
