A Quick Post About the Things to Avoid During the Hungry Ghost Month!

Published Agosto 28, 2017 by jptan2012

Some of these things I have written in the past, some maybe just now. But allow me to quickly share a few things that one should avoid doing during the Hungry Ghost Month (Ghost Month) especially the Hungry Ghost Festival (Ghost Festival) which for this 2017 is on September 5.

Things to avoid:

  1. Avoid disturbing around and under the altar because the hungry ghosts loves to dwell around those areas because they want the yang energy.
  2. Avoid disturbing the kitchen or dining area or even the market or anywhere where there is food. Hungry Ghosts crave for food and so they might be in those areas.
  3. Do not put new fish tanks or aquarium in your house, because this might enhance the yin energy that is already pervasive during the ghost month.
  4. Do not hand wind chimes. Contrary to popular Feng Shui belief, there are a number of non – commercialized, traditional Feng Shui masters and Feng Shui experts who doesn’t believe in the use of wind chimes because a wind chime attracts spirits. I also subscribe to this belief They attract both good and bad spirits, so how can you siphon the good from the bad?
  5. Do not leave red cloths or red strings lying around the house? Red has one of the strongest yang energy and hungry ghosts will naturally crave for them.
  6. Avoid whistling especially after dark. Same principle with the wind chime, they may get attracted with the sound and they might latch on to you.
  7. Avoid properly putting any footwear beside your bed, always turn the footwear away from the bed or turn one of them over. Properly placed footwear may attract spirits to you.
  8. Do not hang your clothes overnight. Hungry Ghosts are not just hungry, they also lack clothes, while they don’t need it, they might feel that they need one because they still long for their human body. Hanging it overnight might lead them to ‘try it’ and it will cause extreme bad luck or even some hauntings.
  9. Do not pick up money on the streets or on the floor if you don’t know who owns them. Even if they’re just coins. A spirit might have latched on to it already and you will bring them with you.
  10. Do not look back if you hear a ‘pssst’ or if you hear somebody calls you in an empty space or street.

I also received some emails and questions as to what one can do if one really has to undergo a medical procedure this ghost month. I have written about this before and you can check it out by clicking here. However, please note to try to avoid this and if this is not possible, for major operations, or for medical procedure, which may be considered routine but involves senior citizens or children below 7 years of age, it is best to have the Vajrapani Ruel and/or a gold Kalachakra pendant.

Singapore’s Success Is Attributed to A Clever But Risky Feng Shui Cure!

Published Hulyo 26, 2017 by jptan2012

Singapore is one of the most successful and progressive countries not only in Asia but also in the world. For such a small country with no natural resources, it has turned itself around from a poor third world country to a first world country.

Obviously, they were lucky enough to have hard working and sincere leaders who truly love their country. But, without undermining the efforts of their leaders and of their citizens, it is said that Feng Shui plays a big factor in their progress and success.

The Merlion in itself is said to guard and symbolized progress. In a much earlier post I also have talked about the dragon doors of Singapore, but perhaps one of the most innovative Feng Shui application that they did is to have all Singaporeans carry a Bagua, which symbolizes an equal balance of life’s aspirations.

At that time, they were having a big problem about Singapore’s progress. A Feng Shui master suggested that everyone should have Bagua, but they cannot force everybody to do it, because (1) not all Singaporeans are Chinese, (2) not everybody believes in Feng Shui. The solution is to come up with the one Singapore dollar in a bagua form. They later on extended this with some of their bills having the bagua sign. Furthermore, after a while they had the license sticker for their cars have the shape of the bagua also.sgd1

The Singaporean government has not acknowledged whether this is true or not, but it will certainly make you wonder why would the bagua symbol be found in their money.singaporemoney

I would like to add though that the use of Bagua, contrary to popular belief, is not always suggested by responsible Feng Shui experts or masters, because a slight mistake in the placement and/or in the application it can cause more problems that good chi. In fact, these days the bagua is only suggested as a last resort and also is applied with extreme caution. A Feng Shui master should always manage the placing of bagua. If somebody suggest you put a bagua without checking the location or without personally managing or overlooking it, then it is a sure sign that that person is not a real or is not a responsible Feng Shui consultant.

Four Years: A Reflection, An Apology, And A Heartwarming Gratitude!

Published Disyembre 19, 2015 by jptan2012

This month marks the 4th anniversary of this blog. I’m feeling a little sad because this blog as you know it will start to make some changes in the next few weeks. It will cease to exist as a blog that some of you and I definitely got accustomed with. The changes that are happening are because I want more transparency to happen on this blog. I have always been truthful about what I write, no matter what a few people might believe, but of course I had always maintain a certain level of anonymity and maintained the same with that of the people who have experienced some miracle in their life whether the miracle was through one of the items made available thru me or thru the recommendations I’ve made or more importantly thru their own experience not prompted by an item that they got thru me or thru what they’ve read here.

I still remember that I simply started this blog because I simply want to share stories. Stories that I heard or stories that read. I want to share my views regarding what’s happening. One thing was for sure. I simply wanted to write and not care whether people get to read what I write.

My biggest mistake, which prompted this blog to morph into something that I never intended it to be, is to write my first Feng Shui article, which is a forecast for 2012. Soon, people are emailing me asking me questions and then I started writing more Feng Shui articles and as most of my regular readers know this have become a Feng Shui blog.

I said biggest mistake because that single article that prompted me to take this path of being a somewhat reluctant Feng Shui consultant. I didn’t know how to handle the popularity of this blog and because I don’t care whether people read my blog or not, I somewhat don’t care also about my readers. Please don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate having readers and I try to accommodate as many questions and request as much as possible but I somehow didn’t institute a system only because I felt I don’t have a responsibility to my readers.

Furthermore, with the popularity of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, I further made some mistakes. There were so much requests that I accepted more than what me and my jeweler can handle. Add to that, my jeweler lost his ‘platero’ (the one who cast the jewelry). This causes some delays and failure to deliver some of the pendant and so some people got angry with me. Soon, some people started attacking me online also, some of them honestly has some ‘ax to grind’ against me but a lot of them are somewhat simply riding on the bandwagon.

This led me to take a back seat and reexamine myself and what I do. The very first questioned I asked myself as to why a person like me who writes about Taoism, Buddhism, and Feng Shui will experience these attacks. I do my best to practice what I preach. When I consulted my Guru Lama about this, he said, that while I take responsibility on the things that I write and while I do try my best to be responsible to my readers, I never took that responsibility into heart. Subconsciously I always have look at this blog as something that I simply want to do for myself. I still don’t care whether people read it or believe it or not. This, my Guru Lama said, is a wrong attitude. He further explained that some of the things that I was going through is because of karmic reasons, things that I did in one of my previous past lives is the root cause, and so I really have to go through it. On top of it, being online and read by numerous number of people there are things that simply can’t be controlled. He then told me to stop writing for a while and take a meditation retreat. I did follow all my Guru Lama’s advice.

I came back writing with a deeper fervor. I now believe I have responsibility to my readers and to myself. Trying to fix some of the problems, especially the ones I have unintentionally created. I’m also that a lot of those involved in the legitimate concerns on how I handled their request are now friends with me again. Some of them had even requested for the Vajrapani Ruel(1) and/or the Surangama Mantra Amulet(1). And speaking of the Vajrapani Ruel(2), my Guru Lama initially didn’t allow me to own one, but I’m really happy that he has since then given me the permission to have one. Of course, being the a small vehicle to be the source of the Vajrapani Ruel(3) and Surangama Mantra Amulet(2) is a blessing on its own.

Feng Shui expert or not, there are things that I still need to learn and I think I have learned some of them and hope to continue to learn more.

On the other hand, despite of some false accusations against me like that says I’m a self – proclaim master, which by the way is totally not true and I challenge anybody who thinks otherwise to read all my post here not one did I mentioned I’m a master of Feng Shui, and on the contrary you’ll read on several post that I clarified that I’m not a Feng Shui master and neither am I a professional Feng Shui consultant, there are still some people who believes in my sincerity. This has not been more apparent than the last few weeks.

I will not go into details because it might be sound self – serving, but I was really touched when several people who I thought has no knowledge about the bashing against me, admitted when I told them about it that they know of those things but they said for some reason they felt my sincerity. Some of these people I now consider as friends and a lot of them have worked with on some of their personal problems that have since been resolved.

I guess what I really want to share here is let all my readers realized the fact that while I studied Feng Shui since I was 19 years old, and while I may know more than most people, this is still a journey for me. Having an ‘expertise’ in Feng Shui, and I guess I speak for other Feng Shui experts especially those who are commercially available, doesn’t make us inhuman. We are in the end still humans. And like all humans we might create mistakes.

But if there were also one thing that I learned I think that would be accept that we are all humans and make mistakes. Our mistake doesn’t define us and that in the end people will see your sincerity and continue to believe in you.

Thank you for taking this journey with me. In the next few days a few more article will come out here on this blog as it is now, but soon some changes will happen and I hope this changes will be for the good. Please continue taking this journey with me.

Myth Buster 29: “Let’s Cross the Bridge When We Get There!” Is Just An Idiom.

Published Hulyo 11, 2015 by jptan2012

We all have heard have the phrase or idiom ‘Let’s cross the bridge when we get there.’ Or ‘We’ll cross the bridge when we get there.’ Of course, almost all the people who use that phrase use it as an idiom to signify that for a pending problem that one does not have a solution at present, it will be just dealt with when the problem arises.

But for Feng Shui experts, ‘Let’s Cross the Bridge When We Get There’ is not just an idiom. It has real Feng Shui significance.cross a bridge small

In ancient China, the idiom is not used as an idiom but rather as a Feng Shui cure. If they envision a problem that has no solution, they will say that ‘Let’s Just Cross THE / A BRIDGE WHEN WE GET THERE.’ to signify that they will solve their problem with one of the oldest Feng Shui ritual to rid oneself from problems. They literally cross the bridge to get rid of a problem.

How is this done?

When encountering a problem, I suggest you do the ‘Cross the Bridge’ ritual to get rid of your problems. This is done by looking for a bridge that may be visually proportionate to your problems, meaning the bigger the problem, the bigger the bridge that you should use.

cross-the-bridgeDo the ritual in the morning between 6AM and 10AM. Go to one end of the bridge, and go to the side of the bridge and pour some clean water, a half-cup of water will do, and then place 7 pieces of uncooked rice grains. These serves as an offering to the spirits that resides in the bridge. Please also light an incense if possible. Then stand straight, and focus on your problems, do this for about 30 seconds and start walking. As you walk, imagine that your problems are slowly dissipating, until it’s gone when you get towards the center of the bridge. Then, consciously get yourself to feel lighthearted and happy, as you continuously walk towards to the other end of the bridge. All throughout the process don’t ever look back even if somebody calls you. It’s best to arrange for somebody to pick you up at the end of the bridge, because it is better to take another route in going back to your place. Avoid the said bridge for 3 days.

I personally haven’t tried this ritual, but my Feng Shui master in Hong Kong swears by the efficacy of this ritual.

The Landlord’s Tablet: More Than Just A Symbol of Power and Wealth

Published Marso 20, 2015 by jptan2012

“…the crowd, intoxicated with the unstructured power bestowed upon them by the government barge into the house of the man’s palatial house. They searched for the Landlord’s Tablet, and unfortunately for the man and his family, they have two. The tablets were used to hit them repeatedly. At the end, the master of the house with his children, in – laws, and grandchildren were all severely bruised. The mistress of the house was not so lucky, because she died in the process.”

In his book HUNDRED DAY WAR, which is considered as one of the most accurate book about the Cultural Revolution and the Communism that preceded it in China, William Hinton made mention of the Landlord’s Tablet. The Landlord’s Tablet is also known as the Rich Man’s Tablet.

The Landlord’s Tablet is called as such because in the olden times it is usually the rich person or a landlord who has this kind of tablet. It is also sometimes called as the Statesman’s Tablet. In some way, it has become a symbol of a rich man’s status and power, but the Landlord’s Tablet, which is also known as the Rich Man’s Tablet is not some kind of an official tablet declaring their wealth and power or that they are from the government. It is actually a Taoist – Feng Shui amulet that is put in the house.

Officially, for traditional Feng Shui masters and Taoist priests the Landlord’s Tablet, or the Rich Man’s Tablet or the State Man’s Tablet is actually called Ing Deng Pay (Pay is pronounce as pie), which is also called Ing Tiak Pay.

The Ing Deng Pay became commonly known as the Landlord’s Tablet or State Man’s Tablet or Rich Man’s Tablet because the ones who usually have are the landlords or rich man or government officials.

The truth is the Ing Deng Pay is one of the greatest Taoist – Feng Shui cure or enhancer one can have. Not all Feng Shui experts are familiar with this, and needless to say not all Feng Shui masters can make one. In the same manner, not all Taoist priests are familiar with making one. Usually, to make an Ing Deng Pay it will take for a Taoist Priest who is familiar with it and a Feng Shui Master who is also familiar with it to collaborate with each other.

Recently, my Feng Shui teacher has found a Taoist priest who is familiar with making the Ing Deng Pay and they have set out to making it available to people. The Ing Deng Pay is usually made of marble, granite, any hard stone, or hard wood. Sometimes it might have some crystals, depending on one’s birthday and/or needs.

In the old times, a Chinese businessman or politician will usually hire a professional Feng Shui master or a Taoist priest, most of the time both, or a Taoist priest who is also a Feng Shui expert to do a Bazi (also call Paht Chee) analysis and an analysis of his property. Especially if his property is missing a sector. They will then make an Ing Deng Pay to ensure that missing sector is countered and continuously cured of its adverse effect. In a way, having the Ing Deng Pay makes an auric or psychic sector. For example, if the missing sector is the South, having the Ing Deng Pay made under the chart of the master of the house and the missing sector will create an psychic South sector and thus it becomes like there’s no missing sector. Furthermore, more than creating a auric or psychic sector, the Ing Deng Pay is also usually incorporated with powerful inscriptions that brings in wealth and power luck. That is why most people that have the Ing Deng Pay are not only wealthy and powerful but has very good social standing in the community.

A painting of a Chinese rich man or statesman.

A painting of a Chinese rich man or statesman.

The Ing Deng Pay is usually hidden because if somebody who is familiar with the art of understanding and making an Ing Deng Pay and wishes to do you harm, they can come up with another Ing Deng Pay that will counter the inscription of your Ing Deng Pay sneak it in to your house and your Ing Deng Pay might lose it’s power. Furthermore, the master of the house usually keeps his Ing Deng Pay hidden because if somebody in the house wants to create bad luck for the master of the house they can steal his Ing Deng Pay and destroy it. Some Ing Deng Pay is hidden under the ground.

However, the Ing Deng Pay as written in my first post about it –ARE YOU SUFFERING FROM AN AFFLICTED BAZI THAT’S CAUSING SEVERE MONEY, CAREER, RELATIONSHIP, OR PERSONAL PROBLEMS? AN ING DENG PAY IS A POWERFUL TAOIST CURE FOR THESE PROBLEMS -was first created not for the missing sectors. The original formula of the Ing Deng Pay is originally for those people whose Bazi is severely afflicted with a lot of conflicting elements or signs. When a child is born, specially if its a son, the father will usually ask a Feng Shui master to check on the Bazi of the baby, if they see it’s afflicted they then make an Ing Deng Pay for him. It is said that the members of the royal family will have their Ing Deng Pay guarded 24/7.

It was not until the 17th century when a famous Taoist priest who is also a Feng Shui master discovered (or created) the formula for creating an Ing Deng Pay for the house. Since then, the formula was handed down from one generation to the other until Mao Zedong’s ruling disrupted it when he banned China. And to ensure that people get scared of acquiring and Ing Deng Pay the government seeded to the army and later on the Red Army of the cultural revolution for them to use the Ing Deng Pay to hit and reeducated landlords.

It has been a long time dream of my Feng Shui teacher to make an Ing Deng Pay, he is well familiar with the formula but he is not very confident. But it’s a good thing that he was introduced to a Taoist priest last year that is also knowledgeable to make the Ing Deng Pay, they then sent out to making Ing Deng Pay/s available to the public.

Note: I’m not showing a picture of an Ing Deng Pay because of privacy reasons. Some information, for those who are familiar with it, may reveal information about the owner of the Ing Deng Pay.

If you wish to know more about the Ing Deng Pay you can read the following blog posts:

Wishes Fulfilled with the ‘Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant’ and a Big Business Break with the ‘Wealth and Master Protection Pendant’ – Personal Testimonies of Readers

Published Setyembre 18, 2013 by jptan2012

When I first started this blog I never thought I would be part, in a very small way, to a lot of wonderful ‘miraculous’ events in the lives of the people who would become my readers. Furthermore, I never thought the a simple Feng Shui charm that I designed incorporating the things that I’ve learned from my various Feng Shui teachers or masters, and from Buddhist monks and Taoist monks will create so much good things in the lives of a lot of people. What’s ironic is that these pendants were never designed for the public but rather for the use of my family, relatives, and to some extent some of our friends.

I’m talking about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT and the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT. The truth is these pendants were designed because of our (my family and I) frustrations about how we have to change Feng Shui cures or enhancers every years, and how do we have to wear a lot of things around our neck, wrist, fingers and have so much heavy objects around our pockets and bags. Furthermore, these Feng Shui cures and enhancers had to be replaced every year, especially, when they’ve become tarnished.

The first of these pendants is the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT; you can read more about it by clicking here. However, I no longer accept requests for the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, because it’s quite big and cost so much money. That’s the first story I would like to talk about.

At the back of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION are the Chinese character for 'THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN' and the images of the Three Celestial Guardians (provides protection against the 3 Killings), Five Element Pagoda (provides protection from the Five Yellow Star or Flying Star #5) and the Ksitigarbha Fireball (provides protection against the Argumentative Star).

Last, February 2013, a couple, a husband and wife businessmen contacted me. The first thing that I sense about them is that they’re a little ‘secretive’ about their true identity. While they have a house here in Manila, they’re mainly base in Cebu. After several conversations, I agreed to meet them. I suggested that we meet in a mall, but they requested that we meet in a hotel in Makati instead. I agreed.

When I saw them, I had the feeling that I’ve seen them before. The feeling is not that I vaguely know them but rather that I’ve seen them before. At the middle of our conversation, their son joined us, that’s when I realized that I’ve seen them on TV before. Their son is now trying to make a life for himself on a different industry while he still tries to help out in their family business.

They requested for the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, I told them that it is no longer available because of it is very expensive, but they insisted so I agreed to get them the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, one for each one of them. As it turned out, the husband is a devotee of THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN – SUN WUKONG, and is as long been looking for a gold or jade pendant that bares the image of the SUN WUKONG. For those who’ve read my post about THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN you’d know that SUN WUKONG is great for those who need money and who are in business.

'The Great Sage, Equal of Heaven' Monkey King called Sun Wukong is a very powerful wealth and protector god that's both highly revered in Taoism and Buddhism.

‘The Great Sage, Equal of Heaven’ Monkey King called Sun Wukong is a very powerful wealth and protector god that’s both highly revered in Taoism and Buddhism.

They told me that they’re bidding for a construction project in China and needs all the help they can get because they’re not necessarily the biggest company in the country, and neither are they the biggest company participating in the bidding, but that they really want this project. They said that it will be a long and tedious process and expects the result to come out in November or December.

Just about a couple of weeks ago they called me up again to tell me that they won the project. I told them that isn’t it quite early and they said that it is part of the good news that the Chinese end made an early announcement. It’s part of the good news because the agony of waiting is sometimes a little too much for them.

And what’s even greater news is that they got 5 more WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, not for themselves but for them to be able to sell it at half the price of how much they got it. They said, they want more people to experience the blessing of WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, and that it is their way of sharing the blessing.

Incidentally, I would like to stress that I still am not making the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT available to those who are requesting it, because it is really pricey. Almost as expensive as some of Lillian Too’s pendants.

The second good news is about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT. I have posted several personal testimony about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT and the truth is there are so much more about that I haven’t written about and there are several more emails or stories told me by readers who has requested for it.

Front side of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA'S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT

Front side of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT

This time it’s a story of a DJ and part time actress, but because she is somebody who might become famous in the next few months or years I will not use her first name initial and last name initial. I’ll just stick to her first name initial. A has been a radio DJ for quite some time now, and she has appeared in a movie before. However, she felt that her career has been stagnant even before it has taken off, also she has been in a long time relationship and although she and her boyfriend is about to get married, she’s a little bothered that both her parents and that of her boyfriend’s parents doesn’t approve of their relationship.

The back side of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA MANTRA BLESSING PENDANT has the images of the Victory Banner, Lung-Ta or Windhorse, the seed syllable of the Goddess Tara - TAM, and the symbolic script of the MEDICINE BUDDHA MANTRA, WISH FULFILLING MANTRA, and the NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA.

I met A through a mutual friend who has gotten the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT himself. A is a very nice person and although she is part of a life that enjoys a lot of attention, I felt that she’s very humble and nice. I’m writing the story now because a month after getting the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, A got an offer for an endorsement of a food company, and after that she’s about to become the face of an advocacy campaign that’s just about to come out soon.

Furthermore, her mother has taken to liking his boyfriend already and her future mother – in – law has been reaching out to her by inviting her to dinners and lunches. She said it’s all because of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT.

Stories like these give so much joy that something that started as personal thing has become bigger and has benefitted a number of people. But then again the pendants are quite pricey and not everybody can afford it. For those who can’t afford it please remember that reciting the WISH FULFILLING MANTRA and NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA works as well.

Incidentally, I also have some good news about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET. Both are powerful Buddhist amulet or charms. I’ve always wanted to write about it but both will need special permission from a Lama before one can I write about them. However, I recently got the permission and will be writing about them tomorrow or in the next few days.
