Getting Support Through Feng Shui

Published Disyembre 1, 2012 by jptan2012

In my recent trip to San Diego, California, my best friend’s brother and sister-in-law generously volunteered to host me all throughout my stay there. I’m really glad that I took on their offer to stay in the house because I don’t have to eat hotel food, and to be honest, I saved up a lot of money because I don’t have to pay for hotel room and J, my best friend’s sister-in-law always make sure that I have food and I don’t go hungry. That only downside is that I gained some pounds and fat, a big thing for somebody who is trying to lose some weight. I really love J’s cooking, she has put a lot of American twist to the Filipino dishes.

It is in their house, one dinner, that I met W, a German – American guy who works in a bank in the States. During our dinner, conversation went into Feng Shui, and this is when W consulted me about his problem in the office.

According to W, he believes that he is fairly successful and that he has a good life. However, there’s something that has always bothered him, everything he does in the office, he always have to ‘…fight for it, fight with a capital F-I-G-H-T…’. W said he never seemed to have gotten his superiors’ support even though he has fairly proven himself and that his projects has mostly been successful. He once thought that it is a personality difference issue but even when one of his superior was replaced, he still faces the same problem with the new one. He gets along with his new superior on a personal level, but somehow it seems like he is unable to get the superior’s professional support.

P, my best friend’s brother, and J suggested to W to request me to Feng Shui his office. I told W if he believes in Feng Shui I’d be willing to do it for him and told him to bring me to his office. We then agreed on a date.

When W brought me to his office, I immediately saw the problem. He has a spacious office, but the office also has a glass wall, and when seated his back is facing the window/glass wall. This means that he doesn’t have any support coming from his back!!!

The problem is pretty obvious and quite simple to cure. Having an ‘empty space’ behind your work area will translate to a literal support-less atmosphere for you in your work. Like what W experienced, if there’s nothing behind you, you also won’t get any support, no matter how good you are in what you do. Sometimes, even if there’s a window behind you but there’s a building behind you, and it’s quite near your own building, then that building may act as a Feng Shui support. In the case of W, there’s no tall building behind him that can act as a Feng Shui support.3 Peak Mountain

Since he already has a small table behind him, I suggested that he put a Feng Shui 3-Peak Mountain behind him. Normally, what I would suggest is to put a painting of a mountain, however, since it’s a glass wall that also serves as a window, it’s impossible to hang a painting here, thus a Feng Shui Three-Peak Mountain will do. When it comes to effectivity, they’re both quite effective. It’s just that a Feng Shui 3-Peak Mountain might look a little out-of-place in his office.

Some 3-Peak Mountain has the Three Celestial Guardians. This works quite well as well.

I think, the Feng Shui 3-Peak Mountain is the solution to his problem, but I also suggested for him to wear a Ruyi pendant or carry it as a keychain to give him more authority.

It’s been about 2 months since I suggested the cure and W emailed me to say that he can now feel the significant change in the way his superiors look at his projects or proposals. They now give him their support. A colleague also commented that there is some change in W, according to W, the colleague said that he now seems more confident and authoritative. I’m guessing it’s because of the Ruyi pendant he started wearing.

I just want to give some guidelines about having a mountain and choosing a mountain picture to get support.

This is an ideal painting of a mountain that you can use for Feng Shui.

This is an ideal painting of a mountain that you can use for Feng Shui.

  1. Never put the mountain in front of you. It will be confronting the mountain, thus it will create your downfall.
  2. Make the painting or picture of the mountain big enough to make it noticeable but not so big that it overcomes you.
  3. A good mountain picture is something that doesn’t have a very sharp peak or sharp ridges.

Remember, a mountain behind you will give you solid support in your work and career!

Feng Shui Tips for the Work Place (2)

Published Abril 29, 2012 by jptan2012

Yesterday, I talked about the different FENG SHUI TIPS FOR THE WORK PLACE. Today, I’m writing about more Feng Shui tips for the work place. But before anything else, allow to me reply here regarding a question that was emailed to me by reader.

D emailed and shared that her table is directly against the wall, and she is literally facing the wall. She’s asking whether this is ok. This is also actually bad and while a wall behind you signifies support, a wall that is directly in front of you signifies problem. But the remedy for this is quite simple. All you have to do is put a picture or painting of a scenery, as long as it’s not of a mountain.

While my post yesterday focused on what you should avoid, today I’ll focus more on what you need to have to help ensure a smooth working environment.

AN IMAGE OF A ROOSTER. Readers of this blog knows that a rooster with a fan will help ensure that there’s no third party involvement in a relationship. However, a plain rooster is one of the essential charms that a working person needs. This is to prevent any politicking or rumors about you from circulating your co-workers. You can either place this on your table or wear it as a pendant.

SIX CRYSTAL Ball. Again readers of this blog knows that six pieces of crystal ball or crystal spheres will help ensure harmony at home. Having this is the office is also a very effective tool to ensure harmony in the office. If your boss doesn’t believe in Feng Shui but you have your own table, you can just place a smaller version of this on your table.

THE RED PHOENIX ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF YOUR OFFICE OR TABLE. Birds bring in good fortune and a Phoenix is a mythical bird. Also a Phoenix represents fire that makes a Phoenix a firebird. The South is empowered by fire and putting a Red Phoenix will help enhance your career luck and help you be recognize. But more than that it will also help block whatever bad luck that may come your way and create new opportunities for you.

FLOWERS. Put some colorful flowers on your table. While fresh flowers are preferred, a picture of a flower will also do. However, never use a flower made of plastic, and if you use fresh flowers make sure that you don’t wait for it to wilt before replacing them. Flowers will help ensure that you don’t absorb too much negative energy and stress.

DRAGON TORTOISE. A Dragon Tortoise is a combination of the two of the 4 guardian or Feng Shui animals (Dragon, Tortoise, Tiger, and Phoenix); furthermore the Dragon Tortoise is a combination of a celestial animal and a real animal. Having a Dragon Tortoise will not only give you support but also it will also give you a competitive advantage. A Dragon Tortoise is also a very powerful tool of protection if you’re not sure whether your working area has good or bad Feng Shui. The best place to put a Dragon Tortoise is behind you, however, putting it on your table will also work as well. You can also wear it as a pendant or as a bracelet.

VICTORY BANNER. I have previously written about the Victory Banner. Please do read about it. I just would like to say that the Victory Banner is one of the most powerful tools that one can use to ensure that most, if not all, of your endeavors or projects becomes a success. I have personally utilized the Victory Banner with all my big projects. You can place an image of the Victory Banner on your table or wear it as a pendant. This is the reason why I have included the Victory Banner in the special pendant that I designed, the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT.
