A friend’s cousin moved into their new home which is a townhouse. The unit is in a premium place and they are quite happy that they were able to move in there.
However, a few months after moving in, they notice that their family relationship is slowly deteriorating. Husband and wife started bickering against each other, their 3 kids started fighting amongst each other and answering their parents back. On top of that, the business of both the husband and the wife started encountering serious cash flow problems.
The couple knows that the concern is in the house but they are unable to determine the concern because they had a Feng Shui consultant looked at their place before the move in. Besides, they said that a Taoist mystic from Sta. Mesa has looked at their place and said that it is perfect and that they should get it!
My friend contacted me to request that I check on his cousin’s house. Aesthetically the house is really beautiful, but it does have a lot of Feng Shui blunder. The facing direction of the house is not fit for the main breadwinner of the family. But perhaps the biggest blunder is that their dining table is directly under a toilet. As you can see, like most townhouse, the lot area is quite limited and the developer had to come up with a way to maximize the space. And the architect was able to do it perfectly and with great aesthetic feature, but as it happens, the Feng Shui was not taken into consideration.
Always eating under the toilet is bad. Really bad, and it is quite difficult to remedy this kind of situation. What saved the day is the Vajrapani Rueland a mirror.
As you know, I don’t like using mirror so much, because if not done properly it will create havoc than good. Furthermore, one has to be specific in the measurement until the installation of the mirror. But in this case, because moving out is not an immediate option, we have to settle in putting a Vajrapani Ruel on the table, and carefully hiding it and protecting it by putting a special aesthetic ornament at the middle of the table, then also put a mirror on the ceiling of the dining area on top of the dining table so that it double the ‘blessings’ on the table.
I’m just really happy that it did worked from them. My friend recently told me that his cousin and his cousin –in-law told him that things are again harmonious and business is doing good.
Some of these things I have written in the past, some maybe just now. But allow me to quickly share a few things that one should avoid doing during the Hungry Ghost Month (Ghost Month) especially the Hungry Ghost Festival (Ghost Festival) which for this 2017 is on September 5.
Things to avoid:
Avoid disturbing around and under the altar because the hungry ghosts loves to dwell around those areas because they want the yang energy.
Avoid disturbing the kitchen or dining area or even the market or anywhere where there is food. Hungry Ghosts crave for food and so they might be in those areas.
Do not put new fish tanks or aquarium in your house, because this might enhance the yin energy that is already pervasive during the ghost month.
Do not hand wind chimes. Contrary to popular Feng Shui belief, there are a number of non – commercialized, traditional Feng Shui masters and Feng Shui experts who doesn’t believe in the use of wind chimes because a wind chime attracts spirits. I also subscribe to this belief They attract both good and bad spirits, so how can you siphon the good from the bad?
Do not leave red cloths or red strings lying around the house? Red has one of the strongest yang energy and hungry ghosts will naturally crave for them.
Avoid whistling especially after dark. Same principle with the wind chime, they may get attracted with the sound and they might latch on to you.
Avoid properly putting any footwear beside your bed, always turn the footwear away from the bed or turn one of them over. Properly placed footwear may attract spirits to you.
Do not hang your clothes overnight. Hungry Ghosts are not just hungry, they also lack clothes, while they don’t need it, they might feel that they need one because they still long for their human body. Hanging it overnight might lead them to ‘try it’ and it will cause extreme bad luck or even some hauntings.
Do not pick up money on the streets or on the floor if you don’t know who owns them. Even if they’re just coins. A spirit might have latched on to it already and you will bring them with you.
Do not look back if you hear a ‘pssst’ or if you hear somebody calls you in an empty space or street.
I also received some emails and questions as to what one can do if one really has to undergo a medical procedure this ghost month. I have written about this before and you can check it out by clicking here. However, please note to try to avoid this and if this is not possible, for major operations, or for medical procedure, which may be considered routine but involves senior citizens or children below 7 years of age, it is best to have the Vajrapani Ruel and/or a gold Kalachakra pendant.
The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It’s important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless. The Vajrapani Ruel itself is only about 1 to 2 inches and it varies from one ruel to another.
This is a Kalachakra pendant released by Lillian Too. I really love this pendant but find it too expensive. The Kalachakra Symbol is a powerful protection symbol. It is actually ten syllable mantra compressed into one symbol. The mantra is HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. However, it is usually chanted with OM AH HUM thus making the complete mantra as OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. It is because off this that for the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, I decided to put the symbolic script OM AH HUM on top of Kalachakra Symbol.
