Why Did Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Manila Closed?: A Feng Shui Analysis!

Published Mayo 5, 2017 by jptan2012

I was hesitant to write this piece because other Feng Shui practitioners were involved. However, I decided to write it anyway because I want my readers to be aware that Feng Shui is not limited to the inside of the house, you should be very conscious of what is outside the house also.

Yesterday or in my preceding post, I talked about how the statue of Lapu Lapu in Magellan Shrine might have caused the death of several incumbent mayors. Today, I would like to share with you why I think Mandarin Oriental closed down. It is very similar to what happened in the said incumbent mayors who all died in office.

As I said, I was first hesitant to write about this article, but I would like to make it clear, when I first noticed what I notice I did talked to two professional Feng Shui Consultants with close affinity to the said hotel. What am I talking about?

Obviously, if you talk to the owners or management of Mandarin Oriental, they would give you various reasons as to why they decided to close. In fact, the official statement is that the property is “no longer in keeping with its luxury hospitality offering.” Of course, that would be another way of saying that they are losing money because they are no longer able to serve their guests with the amount of service they are able to provide. If they have the money they could have renovated the hotel several floors at a time, this was done by Philippine Plaza, which is now Sofitel.

So what really caused the ‘downfall’ of Mandarin Oriental? I firmly believed that the putting of some heroic statues with active stance that is directed towards Mandarin Oriental was the cause of this bad luck or lowering of sales of Mandarin Oriental.

In my preceding post, I talked about how the image of Lapu Lapu in Magellan Shrine might have caused the successive deaths of successive incumbent mayors; it is the same manner that the said statues (see picture) might have caused the bad luck of Mandarin Oriental. Although one of the images shows that the sword is not directed at Mandarin Oriental, the direction of the call for attack is directed towards Mandarin Oriental. Furthermore, there is another statue of a warrior (not sure whether it is Lapu Lapu) who is looking at Mandarin Oriental. Both images are of heroes that are warrior, meaning they are aggressive images and this is the reason why I think Mandarin Oriental closed down.

As mentioned, when I first noticed this, I brought it to the attention of two professional Feng Shui consultant, but for some reason they both said the fan like image logo of the hotel will ‘fan’ away the negative energies brought about by the statues and that the figures are relatively small compared to the sturdy structure of the hotel. And at that time I also thought that their explanation is not only plausible but also valid. So like them I came to the conclusion that it will not have any effect or if does, the fan like logo of the hotel will ‘fan’ it away.

But in hindsight, there are several flaws in that belief.

First, the logo is a shell and not a fan, shells easily cracks so it won’t protect the hotel from the negative energies.

Second, and perhaps the more important reason, the images are of long time heroes, older than the hotel, and they are immortalized because of the statue, so it does carry a lot of energies, not only from the statue itself from the history that it carries with it that was transferred in the making of those images. It carries years, hundred of years, even thousands of years of energies that makes really strong. And so because no one was careful, everyone was lax, Mandarin Oriental is now no more.

The lesson here is that we should be careful with our surroundings because it does affect our Feng Shui and more than that, we should not be complacent about it.

I also wrote this article to demonstrate that even an institution like Mandarin Oriental can be affected by a poison arrow or a hostile energy. This shows that we have to be more vigilant with our surroundings. Note that these arrows is not limited to statues, but it can as simple as a pointed object or image from a neighbor’s house or any structures outside our house or office.

Myth Buster 37: Bite A Tree or A Faucet When You Dream that Someone Died!

Published Nobyembre 16, 2015 by jptan2012

One day when I got to one of my favorite coffee shop I was heartily welcomed by one of the employee. She knows me quite well because she sees me a lot in that particular coffee shop and have often strike a conversation with me. She also started reading my blog when she found out that I blog about Feng Shui. She has always been cheerful when she sees me but this day was extra ordinary and I was further surprised when she quipped that she needs and practically demanded and somewhat beg that the Vajrapani Ruel be made available for her.

She furthered explained that she has been waiting for me for 4 days, and have been praying that I come to the shop. I asked her why she was so frantic to see me, and that’s when I learned the whole story.dream death dying

TK, is a 39 – year – old manager of my favorite coffee shop, and I also know that she is a wife and a mother to a teenage son, however, what I didn’t know until then is that when she got pregnant with her son she had some complications and that she will not be able to conceive again. She also told me that a few nights before she dreamt that her 12 – year – old died and was fetch by her deceased father. The dream was really short and she can’t even describe the surroundings and the nature of the death, all she was sure of is that her son died, and her son’s maternal grandfather, her father came to pick him up. And that is why she has decided that she really needs the Vajrapani Ruel to help save her son. She also clarified that she and her husband has tried to prevent that dream from happening by listening to what their elders told them that they should bite into a tree or a faucet. This is a popular Filipino belief, but since they are not sure, which one they should bite into, they said to bite both, but just to be sure she still want the Vajrapani Ruel. More than that she said she also has prohibited her son from going out without any company. Now, if she hadn’t been so serious and really worried that simply telling me her dream is making her cry, I would have laugh!

Why? Well, I can assure you I’m not being cruel but for those of you who have been reading my blog might remember a previous Myth Buster post entitled – MYTH BUSTER 23: DREAMS ARE THE OPPOSITE OF REALITY – DREAMING OF A POT OF GOLD!

TK’s case is no different. As I said in that particular post there is a popular misconception that dreams are the opposite of reality, and I quote myself on that particular post: “Now I would like to address here the myth that all dreams are opposite of the reality. For example, a lot of people believe that you dream of laughing that would mean there is sadness. Or if you dream of wealth you’ll have a problem. That is a big myth. There is no truth to it. Dreams are seldom interpreted that way. There is no clear-cut way of interpreting dreams. So don’t believe that it is always the opposite of truth.”

However, having said that, dreams should also not always be interpreted as prophetic. And I would like to clarify myself here; dreams can be prophetic, but even that prophetic one more often than not they are also symbolic.

It was pretty obvious that TK’s dream about his son is quite symbolic and that death here does not mean that her son is going to dye, but that her son’s old self is dying. What about TK’s deceased father picking him up? Well, the way I see it her son is maturing already and he is starting to show personalities, mannerisms, or attitudes that are quite similar to TK’s father.

After assuring TK that nothing bad is happening to her son and that she doesn’t need the Vajrapani Ruel, I told her of my interpretation of her dream. And she laugh because she said her husband has been telling her that their son at age 12 is staring to be mature and that indeed he is showing some personality traits that is very similar to his maternal grandfather.

So the next time you dream of something bad, don’t panic, keep calm and try to analyze its symbolic side. Really it’s the dreamer who can usually explain it, and while I may have help lead TK with the interpretation, she was the one who really was able to concretize everything.

Winning the Lottery and Coming Home. Dreams Fulfilled by the ‘Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant’ – Another Personal Testimony of a Reader

Published Setyembre 4, 2013 by jptan2012

winning lotteryTo be completely honest, I really debated with myself whether I should I write this particular post or not. You see, a few weeks ago a reader mentioned to me that ‘we notice you’ve been actively promoting your pendant’. I was taken aback a little with what she said, because it certainly didn’t seem that way to me. However, upon reviewing my last few posts, I noticed that I indeed have been writing about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT quite a lot and that observation was half correct. I know I have been writing about the pendant a lot, but I wasn’t really promoting it. It’s just that I can’t help it but be happy that a pendant that I designed has become a vehicle for people to receive so many blessings.

To date, there are a little more than a hundred people who has requested and received their WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT. Out of the hundred plus, I’ve received more than fifty plus testimonials. This is quite overwhelming because that means the pendant has become a vehicle of blessing to at least 50% of the people who has requested for it. I have written a few of them here, and there are a few more whose story about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT are quite astounding that I will definitely soon write about it. Not all of the testimonials that was shared with me are ‘astoundingly miraculous’, some of them simply shared that the feel like the pendant has make them a calmer person, I believe there are about 3 of them who said this, one is an oncologist, and then there are others who said that they seem to be happier and more relax, and yet there are others who said that everything seems to be easier. What I’m trying to say is that not all testimonials are miraculous. Some are subtle. And of course, there are those who I’ve never heard from again after getting the pendant.

But then I thought why should I allow one erroneous observation get into me. There are simply so much more that I want to write, and there are so much more testimonials that I can share here. But at the end of the day, I write because I want to. In fact, as everybody can observe the title of this blog has nothing to do with Feng Shui, because the main purpose of this blog is for me to be able to write what I want to write, when I can write them. In the process, it became a Feng Shui blog, and as egoistical as it may sound, it does makes me really happy when I get messages, comments that recommendations on this blog, a Feng Shui charm that I suggested, or the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT has helped them. I’m even happier that several of my readers has since then become my friends, and that several more are willing to fight if this blog was attacked by people who may think that blogging about Feng Shui is a work of the devil.

And so with that, today I write again about a personal testimony of a reader about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT.

Front side of the WISH FULLFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING PENDANT

Allow me to share with you another story shared with me by an Overseas Filipino Worker base in UK. What I like about this particular story is that AT’s story is so astounding in the sense that the effect of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT is almost immediate. If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you’ll notice that most of the testimonials, other than the one that the very first testimonial shared here, usually takes weeks and months, but this one, base on AT’s story was just few days.

AT wrote to me several months ago. Unfortunately, her emailed went unanswered. She wrote again for a second time and this time I was able to read it. This was last at the end of April. AT has been working in UK for 13 years, and is the sole active breadwinner of the family because her husband who is a decade older than she is has high blood, and a heart problem. The doctor has prevented him from working hard labor, and being a carpenter is the only thing that he knows to do, but the doctor has prevented him from doing it. According to AT she can’t say anything about her family because her children (she has 3) are good children and they are obedient and studies really hard. Her husband, according to her is also a good husband, and was a good provider even if his job as carpenter only gets him a meager amount of salary.

AT went to UK to work as nurse aide, even she’s a nurse here in the Philippines, because no matter how much they work hard they are unable to make ends meet. Through her hard work and the support of her husband, they were able to put up a house, and they are able to pay for their children’s schooling. Her eldest son soon graduated and was helping out to send the other two to school. However, her eldest also soon married his childhood sweetheart, which is perfectly fine for them because the son is earning anyway. In fact, according to AT, despite of the fact that the son having his won family they decided to still leave at AT’s home and this suit everybody better, because both the young husband and wife are able to work, and the AT’s husband will take care of their granddaughter. Furthermore, because the son and her daughter – in – law need not pay rent, they are able to help out in the household bill.

Everything seems to be fine and AT and her husband has entertained the idea that as soon as the other two younger children finished school (they’re both in college), AT can come home and stop slaving herself abroad.

But fate seems to be a little cruel. Her son and his wife went to attend a wedding of a friend in Baguio (a mountainous province in the Philippines). They decided to take a day trip, going there past midnight so they’ll get to Baguio in the morning, attend the wedding, skip the reception, and come back to Manila. However, they had an accident on their way to Baguio and AT’s daughter – in – law and son both died.

Obviously, this misfortune crushed their world, and after they’ve managed their grief, AT soon realized that it will be unfair for her to ask her two other children to support their orphaned niece. AT and her husband soon realized that they will literally become their granddaughter’s parents. It was because of this that AT decided to write to me.

After some email exchange, AT insisted to get the pendant. I used the word insisted because as AT can attest, given that I know how important every penny is for them, I dissuaded her from getting the pendant. I even told her she could just recite some mantras. Nevertheless, as mentioned, she insisted on getting the pendant. It took her longer to get the pendant, which was originally promised to her that she’d get it in 3 weeks.

Her husband with one of their other son met me at a mall to pick up the pendant a few weeks ago, and according to AT instead of sending her the pendant right away, her husband decided to delay sending it to her by a day so he can try his luck with the lottery first.

Much to their surprise, they won the grand jackpot prize! AT and her family totally attributed this wonderful miracle and luck to the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT.

Needless to say, according to AT she’ll be back by the last week of September. I know because she just told me about it.

By the way, AT is putting up a small business and the rest according to her are going to be invested.

Be Receptive to Celestial Messages: Omens of Good Luck

Published Mayo 31, 2012 by jptan2012

I always believe that before anything happens we always receive omens or signs that’s something is about to happen. Previously, I’ve written about a post wherein I shared some signs that indicated that my father’s travel luck is quite bad, because we were not as receptive as we need to be, the said signs were ignored and as a result my father had an aneurysm and died in China.

Today, I try to pay close attention to the different signs and omens we receive every day. I still need to improve a lot on my ‘receptiveness’, because there are times that I still miss out on some important omens that either serves as a warning or bringer of good news.

Before I share some of the most common good omens, I first would like to share what are omens. I believe that omens are celestial messages, meaning these are messages from the celestial world or the universe or the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Deities, Immortals, etc. to communicate with us what may happen. There are a lot of possible omens but for now allow me to share some of the most common omens.

In the morning, if I hear birds singing or chirping, it’s an indication that my day is going to be good.  This is more so if I have a big event or something important going on that day. Other than chirping birds, if I see a bird outside of my window I also take it, as an indication that the day will either be good or that there’s good news coming my way.

Generally speaking, if chirping birds wakes you up or if you see a bird outside your room it’s an indication that there’ll be good news.

If while thinking of a problem that you’re going through you suddenly meet a pregnant woman who for without reason smiles to you, or if she’s well dressed and wears nice big jewelries, this would mean that you’re problem is going to be alright and there’s no need for you to worry.

A group of happy children, or bumping into a religious celebration such as a ‘fiesta’, or if you come across a person carrying religious items/symbols/images (except for a cross) it usually means that something good is on your way.

If you or somebody in the family or somebody you love is sick, and one of the first thing that you see white flowers seven times in the first 3 hours after you wake up it usually means that whoever is sick is going to get well. The seven white flowers may be real flowers or images in the TV or magazine or newspaper, however, please note that if you have existing images of white flower in your house or offices they don’t count as part of the seven. The white flower may come as one piece or a bunch of white flowers, but you need to see it 7 different times.

Butterflies are also bringer of good news. Bees are an indication of good news also, although this would also indicate that the good news might come in a ‘bad packaging’ or blessing in disguise sort of good news.

In countries that has a lot of Buddhist monk this doesn’t count much, but for non-Buddhist countries like the Philippines, bumping into or coming across a Buddhist monk or nun is also generally a sign of good news.
