Do We Really Need Amulets? And Why Are REAL Amulets so Pricey?

Published Enero 31, 2017 by jptan2012

I’m a strong advocate of real amulets and a firm believer of one. In fact, a lot of times amulets has become my ‘security blanket’, something that I really need to be able to help me go through my day or week. In fact, last 2016 I greatly relied on amulets to protect myself from bad the effects of the bad stars.

But the question is whether do we really need amulets and why are real amulets so pricey?

Allow me to answer the first question first. Do we really need amulets?

To answer that question allows me to share you the story of somebody who may be familiar already to my readers. BM is a reader who became a friend. She is successful and regardless of what happens she seems always at peace. She may get frazzled a little but it doesn’t really last long. I have featured BM on this blog several times and it would be nice if you read some of the articles that I have written about her.

BM is successful, rich, businesswoman and sure enough she has the Vajrapani Ruel(1), the Surangama Mantra Amulet(1), the Illness Suppression Amulet(1), the Traditional Sutra Amulets(1) and a whole lot more. But truth be told, if you were to ask me what are the causes of her success, I wouldn’t put the use of amulets and Feng Shui as top.

So what do I think are the causes of her success?

First, her spirituality. I will not describe her as religious. At least, not in the sense of the word on how we describe it. She goes to church everyday, she hear mass everyday, she prays the rosary and do novenas everyday. In fact, she prays the rosary more than once everyday. And yes to some extent she can be described as religious, but she is really more than that. She is spiritual. Religion for her goes much more deeper that the essence of the word. And you know what is really fascinating about her? She never or seldom prays for herself. Her prayers are always for other people. With or without problems she goes to church and says her prayers, maybe even more so when everything is good. This is I think is the first ingredient of her success.

Second, she has a good heart and is very compassionate. She is compassionate; many times she has shared with me whether directly or indirectly how it is to be truly compassionate. And she really has a good heart. I know she gives to charity only because there are times that it is unavoidable for her to share it with me, which is done in the process of sharing with me some lessons. A truly compassionate person will always be blessed.

Third, she works really hard. She is intelligent, but more than that she works really hard. When I went to see her, one of her staff told me that her boss, BM, is really hardworking. In fact, she rarely goes home before sunset.

I think those are the main ingredients of her success. But more than her success she has a good family life also and I can see her husband is still ‘madly’ in love with her. I haven’t really had a long interaction with her children, but they seem to be respectful children. Mind you, they should already be in their rebellious stage.

The amulets for her are simply just an added protection or enhancer, and it is not the main ingredient of her good life. In a way, the amulets are simply an added sugar.

Note: Remember that Feng Shui consists of Heaven’s Luck, Man’s Luck and Earth’s Luck!

Allow me to share something else with you. The Buddhist monks or nuns rarely carry with them any amulets, aside from the powerful protective symbol Kalachakra. While I know that the Dalai Lama, and the Karmapa, while escaping the Chinese government did carry an amulet they seldom carry one all the time. The Dalai Lama carried an unknown amulet, and the Karmapa is said to have carried a Vajrapani Ruel(2) with him. But other than that, Buddhist monks and nuns don’t carry amulets with them, or if they do it is limited to one piece only. But, of course, most of them do meditations and chanting of mantras and reciting of sutras and do various rituals more than half of their day, everyday!

So to answer the question whether does we really need amulets, my response would be NO. It helps. It helps a lot. For some people and in some circumstances it may be essential, but if we get to the bottom of it, if we have a strong relationship with the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas, or Taoist Gods, or for Christians to your Lord, or for Islam’s to Allah then my answer is no. There is no denying that amulets like the Vajrapani Ruel(3) has helped a lot of people, but there are people who have survive without it. At the end of the day, have a strong faith, be truly compassionate, and work hard both for your career and for your relationships, and you’ll find things will be going smoothly.

Now, then the second question is why are real amulets really pricey?

First, take note of the keyword real. Real powerful amulets are seldom massed produce. Sure they can make more than 1,000 pieces per batch, it is seldom made out of a machine. They are always made by hand. A real amulet is made several days and will be mostly likely involves being made inside a temple, in front of Buddha or a Bodhisattva and should include some relics has part of the ingredient (like the Vajrapani Ruel4) or at the very least being consecrated in front of a relic. It is definitely made by a trained Buddhist Monk and cannot be made by ordinary practitioner. Sometimes, it will include some rituals outside the temple, but will definitely include a process being done inside the temple.

The Jatukam involves some rituals by the sea and mountains. And has a relic from the temple being included in the process. They make several thousand pieces by the batch and sometime take awhile before they can make the next batch. The Vajrapani Ruel(5) involves a relic of a high lama, and can never be made without it, so the last time it was made was a little more than half – a – century ago. This batch that we have now has about a little more than 1,000 pieces but it is considered limited because we don’t know when it is going to be made again. And it can only be made in certain places in Tibet.

The Illness Suppression Amulet(2), and the others are not as difficult to make, but still they are made or consecrated only by a lama that is recognized to have the capabilities of invoking the energies of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas to make the amulet holy and become an extension of the Buddha or Bodhisattva whose essence is being invoked.

Furthermore, while making it is customary to offer a fruits, vegetables, flowers, incense, and oil lamps. So when acquiring an amulet, this is what you pay for. But that’s not what makes it pricey.

It is also customary to give a ‘donation’ to the monk who made it. But this is a misnomer because in truth the money doesn’t go to the one who made the amulet but rather it goes to the temple, for the building of additional temples or halls, for images of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or for feeding the monks.

In the case, of the Vajrapani Ruel(6), Illness Suppression Amulet(3), the Avatamsaka Amulets(1) the Traditional Sutra Amulets(2) and other amulets, the money goes to the offerings of fruits, incense, vegetables, flowers, oil lamps, etc. But more than that it goes to acquiring of the image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva that goes to a hall in a temple that is being built in India (for the Vajrapani Ruel(7) a big chunk of the money goes back to Tibet in helping the people there who are oppressed by the Chinese government) and it becomes a perpetual offering of the person who acquired the amulet.

These are the things that make a real amulet quite pricey.

But again strictly speaking the amulets are not for sale. To understand this better please read my post called: THE EVOLUTION OF ACQUIRING AN AMULET.

Forecasted Financial Situation Is Already Happening and Some Suggestions On How To Deal With It!

Published Nobyembre 28, 2016 by jptan2012

Late last year when I wrote about my analysis of the Bazi Chart or Paht Chee Chart of 2016 Year of the Fire Monkey, one of the things I wrote is the big possibility of a financial crisis. In that particular article, what will precipitate the said crisis will happen either the first part or the middle part of the year, but that the crisis will start to happen either middle of the year or last part of the year. Last June, US$ 1.00 is approximately around Php 44.00, and now it is (as of writing) Php 49.95, the highest is more than 8 years, and the first time to steadily jump up after more than 10 years. In another post, which I have decided will not be shared again; I also insinuated the cost of this financial crisis, at least, for our country.

If you look at the trend, US $ to Php should have started going down already because of the OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker)remittances, but on the third week of November it still continues to rise. Hopefully, it will still go down on December given that the OFW remittances are coming in, but even if goes down, it seems that it will jump up again coming January. I’m sharing this because we all need to get ready for this. I haven’t checked the bazi chart for the year 2017, and will do so soon and share with you my analysis as soon as possible.

Having said that, I will like to clarify that this is not a political post, and so I refrain from making assumptions as to what is causing the continues decline of the Philippine peso, but this I will say while the middle class to upper class are not yet feeling the effect of this financial crisis, we should not be blind to the ones on the lower income bracket who has taken a hit already.

In the past 3 months, I came across two former VIP bodyguards who is now an Uber driver or applying to be a driver. Their concern is that a lot of foreign investors have left the country or have downsized, and of course, not so many foreign VIPs are in need of bodyguard. Another reader also emailed me. Her son apparently works as a call center agent, but several smaller call center agencies have close shop, they are smaller but each one still have about 300 call center agents, not to mention janitors, guards, and non – call canter agent employees.

I’m sharing this because it is important that each one of us prepare for this financial crisis, if indeed it will become a full-blown crisis and I’m not saying it will. Although, I forecasted it, like the Yolanda forecast, the Nepal earthquake forecast, this is something that I’m not proud of nor I’m happy that my forecast has been vindicated.

I’m sure each one of us can do something. We can start of by supporting the good that our government is doing but we should also rally against the things that we perceived are wrong. When I say rally, I mean we should let our voices be heard in a non – violent and non – confrontational manner. Let’s email the government, let’s share our thoughts, and let us be the change, the improvement that we so desire to see.

And of course, do not forget the power of prayers, of going to church or temple, of lighting candles and incense and dedicating its merits for the financial improvement of the country, let us chant -a – mantra or recite – a sutra.

On a personal level, we should start protecting ourselves. Save up, invest properly, carry a powerful amulet like the Vajrapani Ruel or now the traditional sutra amulet like THE DIAMOND SUTRA and / or THE SUTRA ON THE PAST VOWS OF EARTH STORE BODHISATTVA, these amulets doesn’t become available now for no reason, they always become available at the right time.

Is The Double Wu Wang in the Northeast this November Fatal?

Published Nobyembre 3, 2016 by jptan2012

My article about the double #5 Flying Star (also called as Five Yellow Star or 5 – Yellow Star) or better known as Wu Wang this coming November was already posted as early as October 20, 2016, this is to give my readers enough time to prepare for the double Wu Wang whammy that will land on the Northeast. This means that everybody who is in the Northeast side of their house, office, room, or everybody whose house faces Northeast, or everybody whose house or office building faces the Northeast are greatly affected.

But more than that all people born in the year of the Ox or Tiger, or every middle born son, whether married or single, whether young or old, as long as you are middle born are affected.

The question now is whether it is fatal. I was bombarded with this question by a number of my readers because according to them Lillian Too on her website wrote that this star is fatal. I was looking for this reference but I was unable to see it, but I did see that she mentioned that one could get into a serious illness or serious accident.

Lillian Too is the world’s most famous Feng Shui expert and teacher. And obviously if she says something we should all take note of it and listen to what she has to say. Now the second question is do I agree that it can cause serious illness and accidents or as some readers asks whether it can be fatal.

To answer that allows me to explain it a little. Wu Wang or the Five Yellow Star or #5 Flying Star on it’s own is the most dreaded star. This star coupled with bad karma can be fatal, and so yes, it can be fatal.

When I first wrote the article, I didn’t want to cause some panic and was cautious to put in strong words, although I felt I already gave fair warning and had couldn’t stress enough how much caution all those who are affected has to take about this double whammy of Wu Wang(s) where the Monthly #5 Flying Star join forces with Annual #5 Flying Star on the Northeast.

I have written about the Wu Wang so many times already and every year I write about it that I will not go into details about it anymore. But needless to say, it is the most dreaded star that can cause so much misfortune. It can cause a lot of problems.

However, what I want to stress now is that yes it can be fatal, but fatal here may refer to not only death by illness or accidents but also fatal business wise or relationship wise. So everybody mentioned above should take extra precaution.

Furthermore, and it is important for all of you to take note of this, people born in the year of the Ox and Tiger, and middle sons (regardless whether you’re already 100 years old and lives in a different house already) who stays in the Northeast or whose house doors or office doors are in the Northeast are doubly affected. Why? Because the ruling sector of people born in the year of the Ox and Tiger, and middle sons is in the Northeast! This means you double the already doubled Wu Wang!

And wait, don’t forget that the ruling #2 Flying Star which is also known as the Illness Star, a star that causes not only illness but also grave accidents is doubled, and while everybody is affected, those who are already affected by the Wu Wang (those people mentioned above) are also more susceptible to this star because your overall energy is already weakened by the Wu Wang or 5 – Yellow Star.

Please read my earlier post – DOUBLE WU WANG WHAMMY FOR PEOPLE BORN IN THE YEAR OF THE OX AND TIGER THIS COMING NOVEMBER! – to understand more about it and also to ensure that you are familiar on how you can get protected.

Nevertheless, what I want to stress in this particular post, especially those who are doubly affected by the double Wu Wang whammy is that aside from protecting yourself with the cures I mentioned like the Vajrapani Ruel, gold Kalachakra pendant, gold Five Element pagoda pendant, 5 – Element Pagoda for the Northeast sectors, the Illness Suppression Amulet, the Traditional Sutra Amulet, AND YOU SHOULD ARM YOURSELF WITH THESE CURES, is that you wear more metal on your body. Wear more jewelries and for the month of November wear more white. But there’s one thing I would like to stress, this is also the time wherein you must have faith in the power of Sutras and Mantras, so recite some sutras and chant some mantras. If you’re a Christian then pray and believe in your God. Have faith! Having said that, you should go to church or temple more often. Go everyday if possible, genuinely and generously give more to those who are in need. These things should help protect you.

NOTE: Fire strengthens the Earth energy of the Wu Wang and Illness Star so avoid wearing very bright fire colors like red, violet, orange, and pink. So lighting candles inside the house or office is not also advisable, but lighting incense and candles in the temple or church is going to be helpful. In the same manner, yellow is an earth color so try to avoid this as well.

Interment or Cremation: A Feng Shui Perspective!

Published Nobyembre 1, 2016 by jptan2012

I understand that the Roman Catholic Church now allows cremation provided that there is going to be a proper interment after.

Some of you, especially my regular readers, would know that I’m a big advocate of cremation. Why? Because this takes out a lot of the possible problem of Yin Feng Shui.

Yin Feng Shui is the branch of Feng Shui that has to do with the Feng Shui or burial sites or cemeteries. I myself am not very familiar with this because this is a critical branch of Feng Shui, something that may cause harm to the one who does this. My Feng Shui teacher in Hong Kong is a certified Yin Feng Shui consultant, and my Guru Lama himself without explicitly telling me is somebody who knows how to handle Yin Feng Shui. But again this is a very delicate branch of Feng Shui. In fact, in Hong Kong there is a famous Feng Shui consultant, one who is adept in doing Feng Shui and who is quite famous because he has attracted some of the richest people in Hong Kong as his clientele. However, when he did a delicate Yin Feng Shui and went to the cemetery, he died right there and then while he was doing it when a landslide happened and buried him alive. I’m sure my readers from Hong Kong and Taiwan would know whom I’m talking about, just as those who are familiar with Feng Shui.

But no matter how delicate Yin Feng Shui is, one has to do it if one opts for an interment, because a Yin Feng Shui, for example wrong placement of the tomb, or wrong direction can lead to really tremendous bad luck to the descendants of the person. Or the person itself might go to the lower realms like Hell or Hungry Ghost or Animal Kingdom or it may make your life next life as a human really bad.

But I repeat, doing Yin Feng Shui that is why I never fully studied about it except for some basic guidelines. And throughout my life as a Feng Shui practitioner, I have never attempted to do Yin Feng Shui except maybe thrice. One is when we have to correct the burial site of my paternal grandmother because the first Feng Shui consultant who did it made a mistake, but in effect I didn’t do it myself because all the decisions were made by my Feng Shui teacher in Hong Kong and all I did was to relay details to him. But even I was just a conduit I made sure that I’m absolutely protected.

Then the second time was when my good friend practically begged me to help him correct his father’s burial site. Again this was done with the help of my Feng Shui teacher and Guru Lama and I again act as conduit.

Last time was when BM who has minor burial site with her mother’s tomb, my Guru Lama guided me what to do. In fact, I really don’t want to do it at that time but my Guru Lama said that I owe it to BM to do it and so I went to Davao and did it. But again, with BM it was just a matter of placing a Vajrapani Ruel and a special amulet and doing some ritual and again I made sure that I’m totally protected. In fact, I even have to wear a special ritual robe for it, which was later burned.

You see a wrong burial or interment process, or bad Yin Feng Shui will cause all sorts of problems to the ones left behind. But, as mentioned, also to the ones that was buried.

What are these problems? Well, it can range from extreme financial bad luck or grave ill health, or even turbulent and chaotic relationships. I know of a person who is unable to have a child only because of an alleged mistake in the burial site of her husband’s grandfather. Another loss all his family’s wealth when he didn’t have the proper direction of his mother’s tomb.

We can get rid of all these problems and potentials issues if one resorts to cremation. Of course, one has to consult a Feng Shui as to what is the best time to cremate a person, but that is the only concern one has to deal with, because with cremation, you actually take out the entire chi left by the consciousness of the person who passed away. In a way, you also get rid of the vessel and in the process you take away the entire chi also. That is why, when Westerners cremate and throw the ashes on the sea or mountain or even Niagara Falls, there is no bad luck that is created because there is no chi that comes with it.

The Lesson That BM Unintentionally Shared!

Published Setyembre 27, 2016 by jptan2012

A lot of my regular readers are quite with BM already because I have written about her on this blog so many times. BM, despite of the bad Feng Shui of her house has had so much good luck, which also trickled to the people around her, because of the kindness and the goodness of her heart. BM is one of the most generous person I’ve ever met.

Today, allow me to share another story of BM, this time she unintentionally imparted a very good lesson simply because she is a very good person who religiously practice her faith.

Although BM believes in Feng Shui, and to some extent Buddhism she is at the root of her being a Catholic.

BM always go to church everyday. When I say everyday, I mean EVERYDAY. Although she admitted to me that she seldom prays for herself, she usually prays for the people around her. It is because she is seen inside a church that people have started talking and asking her whether she is going through a very big problem. The truth is BM has no big problem of her own. Other than some regular and common problems one encounters with running a business, her life is almost perfect. The problems that she has are not hers, they are what my Guru Lama calls, peripheral problems, meaning if BM doesn’t really have to take those things as her problems, but because she has kind, compassionate heart, she takes on those things as her problems also. But BM recognizes that she is blessed and her life has been good. And that is reason why she goes to church everyday, because she recognizes that she is blessed and at the time she continues to pray for other people.

Going back to what people think that she has a very big problem as the reason why she is in church everyday, she always tell people that you don’t go to church only because you have problems, but more importantly you go to church to be thankful for the life that you have and also I think going to church everyday is her way of ‘physically expressing’ her relationship with her God.

However, the bigger story is BM lately has earned a lot of media attention, an attention that she is thankful for but never seek or pursued, because she has been associated with a very high profile politician and his family. I won’t be able to go to details but it shows the trust they have for her. A lot of eyes are focus on her now because of this good luck that she has unconsciously nurtured for a very long time for the simple reason of establishing good will and simply because it is the right thing to do. But for BM this good luck that she is experiencing is a testament and a reason for people to learn to practice their faith. According to BM, now people will see that she is blessed because she goes to church everyday. For BM that’s the most important thing that because of her more people will see the importance of going to church everyday.

Spilling Salt Is A Sign of Bad Luck!

Published Setyembre 16, 2016 by jptan2012

Photo uploaded from Google Images

In the preceding post, I talked about the how salt is used as main and very essential ingredient in making the Catholic Church’s holy water.

Today, I would like to share with you another thing about salt.

Once, while having dinner with some High School friends, one of them accidentally spilled salt. I told him that spilling salt is a sign that bad luck is about to come, meaning a bad thing or bad things may soon happen. As I was about to proceed to tell him how to counter or stop the bad luck from happening, he sort of rudely told me that he is a Christian and that he don’t believes in such things. Another friend who knows my interest in Feng Shui signal for me to just keep quiet. Until now, I still don’t know whether I did the right thing.

For soon after that incident, that particular High School friend entered into a bad business and he almost lost everything. He was reminded of his encounter with me and asked me as to what he should do. Luckily, at that time the Vajrapani Ruel is already available and so he got one. Soon he started to put his business back and got back what he lost.

But the question is whether he can do anything when he spilled the salt to stop the bad luck? The answer is yes. He can be more cautious and be aware of the warning. He can also simply pinch a salt from the spilled salt and throw it over his shoulders while chanting OM AMI DEWA HRIH or OM AH HUM or OM MANI PADME HUM seven times. By doing that one can surely prevent the bad luck from happening or at the very least, it can help you from receiving the full impact of the bad luck.

Having said that, I would like to clarify that spilling salt doesn’t bring bad luck. Spilling salt signifies that bad luck may happen. So the bad luck is already there and is forthcoming, spilling salt serves as a warning.

Salt Is A Key Ingredient in Making the Catholic Church’s Holy Water!

Published Setyembre 14, 2016 by jptan2012

Rock Salt

Regular readers of this blog will know how much I believe in the power of salt, especially rock salt, sea salt, pink Himalayan salt, and if possible the rarer Hawaiian Lava Sea Salt. You use salt to help cleanse an area of a negative energy. You use salt to clean things, especially crystals or gemstones, of negative energies. You use salt to drive away evil spirits, and a whole lot more.

In fact, I write about salt so much that I received an email from a person who introduced herself as a devout Catholic. She said all the things I write about salt are pure evil and encouraged people to be more reliant on salt that on the higher being. In her case, she was referring to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Rock Salt

If I made people rely on salt more than on the Higher Beings, whether it is Jesus Christ or Buddha, Bodhisattvas, or Deities, or Allah, then I would like to apologize, that is not my intention. I simply want to share with people and help people have a better life by introducing them to the power of using salt. Salt really has some Feng Shui use or to be more general and encompassing, it does have cleansing capabilities that goes beyond the physical. I don’t want to argue about religion, but the truth is even the Catholic Church, they make use of salt whenever they make their holy water. Salt is one of the key ingredients in making a holy water, and one of the two physical ‘material’ the other being natural water. The other ingredients are Bible verses and several special prayers.

In fact, salt is used in different religions as a ‘psychic’ or ‘auric’ cleansing agent.

I don’t want you to rely on salt more than you can rely on the higher beings. But there is nothing wrong in using salt, besides I assume even the Pope will need it to make Holy Water.

A Special Ritual to Ensure that We Benefit from the ’15 Merit Days’ – Fifteen Special Merit Acts for the Last Day of the Fifteen Merit Days! (Feb. 22,2016)

Published Pebrero 22, 2016 by jptan2012

Several posts ago, I wrote about the “FIFTEEN MERIT DAYS: A GIFT FROM THE HEAVEN TO HELP PROTECT US FROM THE ILL EFFECTS OF THE YEAR!” I suggest before you read on about today’s post, please read the first two parts of the said post to understand it better. Just click here (Part 1) and here (Part 2).

Throughout the first fifteen days, there are going to be some special days wherein we celebrate or honor a day of a Buddha or Bodhisattva. I suggest you continuously check this blog every morning for 15 days (which started last Feb. 8, 2016) to know whether there is a special ritual for the day. It’s not everyday that we have this ‘special days’ within the Fifteen Merit Days.

This is the last day of the ‘Fifteen Merit Days’ and this is indeed a special day because there are fifteen special merit acts that we can do today to earn more merits for the year.

  1. Do as much as you can if not all of the mantras and sutras found in this post (please click here).
  2. Feed an animal.
  3. Light incense for somebody who is sick or suffering.
  4. Light incense for your country and this world.
  5. Offer flowers to an image of Buddha or Bodhisattva. For Catholics you can do this for your God or Saints.
  6. Make a tea offering in a temple or your home altar. Three teacups will do.
  7. Donate some money to a temple or church.
  8. Donate some money to a Buddhist monk or nun or a priest or a nun.
  9. Donate vegetarian food to a temple or foundation.
  10. Buy as many items as you can from a street vendor.
  11. Wear a prayer wheel.
  12. Go Vegan!
  13. Give an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva (either pendant or for display) to a friend or even a stranger.
  14. Make peace with somebody who has done some bad things to you. E.g. cheated you falsely accused you, said bad things against you, etc.

Devastating Feng Shui Blunder Didn’t Affect the People Living in the Said House: A Story of A Good Person with Good Karma!

Published Oktubre 22, 2015 by jptan2012

Slanted Ceiling.

Several exposed beams.

A wooden sculpture of “The Last Supper”.

Window by the headboard of the bed.

These are just some of the Feng Shui blunders that this house in Davao has. When I first look at the pictures of the said house, all I can say is that whoever lived in that house should have extreme bad luck. Sent the said pictures to my Feng Shui teacher in Hong Kong and he also said the same thing. Whoever lived in that house had or is having a bad life. In fact, what he said was ‘extremely’ bad life.

But here is the clincher. I know who lives in the said house. She is happily married, she has two obedient and intelligent children, she is financially stable if not well – off, she has several businesses are doing quite well, she owns several more properties both here and in Davao. So how is it that we’re wrong in our interpretation. I know the person so I was not that surprised, not as surprised as my Feng Shui teacher.

Remember BM? Talked about her in the post entitled – UNEXPECTED HIGH SALES ATTRIBUTED TO THE SURANGAMA MANTRA AMULET – and – WHAT’S EVEN MORE POWERFUL OR IMPORTANT THAN FENG SHUI OR AN AMULET? – the house belongs to her.

You see this will be a very long post if I have to talk all about her good deeds but needless to say I think her being compassionate, self – less, and generous person has prevented them to experience all the bad effects of the Feng Shui blunders of her house. Furthermore, when I talked to her about how being a good person had given her good karma that is strong enough to protect them from the most damaging effects of the Feng Shui blunders of her house, she would always demure and clarify that it is her parents that are really the kindest. And I’m sure that her parents good karma has also benefited them so it is also but fitting to give them the credit. But BM’s brother is not as lucky, and I hope BM doesn’t hate me for saying this because maybe he is not as good hearted as BM. He might have broken off the link of good karma and BM might have inherited all of it. Now people who are around BM benefits as well!

So remember that it is not all about Feng Shui or amulets. Next time that you see an extremely bad Feng Shui blunder remember…

A wholehearted donation to the church or temple…

A selfless prayer for somebody else…

A simple donation to the beggar…

Send somebody to school if you can…

Be kind…

Be generous…

Be thoughtful…

Be compassionate…

…these are Feng Shui cures or amulets as well. I know because BM is the living proof !

What’s Even More Powerful or Important Than Feng Shui or An Amulet?

Published Agosto 25, 2015 by jptan2012

GenerosityI know that this blog shows that I’m a firm believer of Feng Shui and amulets, but I believe that sometimes there are things that are more powerful than Feng Shui and the wearing of amulets, even if it’s the most powerful amulet in the Buddhist pantheon called Vajrapani Ruel. I would clarify that it’s not I disclaiming everything that I have written about Feng Shui, charms, talismans, and amulets, or even mantras, I certainly am not, but every now and then I come across stories that proves that sometimes there are more powerful things that those I just mentioned.

Let me share with you the story of BM. BM is my reader from Davao whose story I recently shared in a post called – UNEXPECTED HIGH SALES ATTRIBUTED TO THE SURANGAMA MANTRA AMULET: A PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF A READER.

Even before BM requested or invited to have the Vajrapani Ruel or the Surangama Mantra Amulet, she has already been financially lucky, and from what I gather, she is also quite contented with her family life. She has a husband that she loves and that loves her and children that are intelligent but are also very respectful and obedient, not to mention intelligent.

In fact, BM got two Vajrapani Ruels and the Surangama Mantra Amulet not for herself but for her husband and brother. She just wants to help make her husband’s business more progressive and her brother and his family more stable.

BM has several businesses and she also has several properties, some of them are here in Manila, she let her brother and his family stays there for free.

I really don’t know where to start or what to share but BM has manifested an inspiring selfless generosity. She takes care of her brother’s family because her brother and sister – in – law are both of out job, so she helps them. When I say help, she really helps, so much so that her nephews have come to consider her as their second mother. She would not just send money, although she does that also, but she would even cook and send food from airport to airport, and she would do their groceries. BM would always say that she has a duty to her brother, but really what she is doing is beyond duty, because she doesn’t have to take care of every minute detail if it is just duty, but she does because it is really out of love for her brother and his family and also out of generosity.

BM also sends her nephews to school, and it doesn’t end there, she even paid for her nephew’s condo or dormitory so that her nephew will not have to go home everyday something that is terribly inconvenient because the school is several hours away from where they live.

But some of you would say that is her family, she will naturally help them. But that’s the point, her generosity, kindness and compassion is not only for her family. BM would regularly send youths or jobless people to undergo some training. She would even tutor them if the need arises, and she would give them allowance. After they finish school or their training, they have the option to work for BM or somebody else. They’re not tied to her!

She also makes monthly donations to a church or charity. I don’t remember which one or maybe it’s both.

I can say more things, but I guess you get the point. So why am I saying this, because I firmly believe that her good luck comes from her genuine kindness, compassion, and generosity! Who can beat that!

As I write this, her Surangama Mantra Amulet should be on her way to her. I think it will be more effective because BM is a good person. So the next time you want to get the Vajrapani Ruel or the Surangama Mantra Amulet or any other amulet. Think about BM. Yes these things are powerful holy objects that helps us gets blessing, but maybe sometimes the reason you’re not getting any blessings is maybe you’re the opposite of BM. If that’s the case then now you should know where to start.

Cured of Cancer and Addiction is Stopped: How The Chinese Mantra of Medicine Buddha Helped A Wife and Mother in Crisis!

Medicine Buddha

Medicine Buddha

Again, as part of my commitment of more natural remedies to problem, and to prove that they may be as effective as the Vajrapani Ruel, I would like to share with you the story of AG.

AG is a mother of two children. She was 41 when she first found out that she has stage 3-breast cancer, an aggressive form of cancer at that, with both kids still in high school, this news came as doubly devastating for her. However, to make things worst, just before her diagnosis she just found out that her husband is hooked on drugs and has become an addict.

Like most people, it was out of desperation that she searched for a possible cure or help outside of medical science and outside of her own religion. Because of her boss, who happens to be a Chinese and Buddhist, she was introduced to a temple in Quezon City here in the Philippines.

According to AG she was initially wretched with guilt for going to a Buddhist temple, something that was strictly prohibited by their church, however, she said she thought of her children and as to what will happen to them if she dies and if their father, her husband, continues to be an addict. And so she was ‘forced’ to enter the temple accompanied by her boss. After being introduced to a monk and pouring her heart out, she was instructed by the monk to chant the Chinese version of the mantra of Medicine Buddha. She was also given some Temple Water or Auspicious Water to drink.

AG, without the knowledge of her husband decided to follow the instructions of the Buddhist monk. She would chant the mantra in the morning and evening and every time possibly can. She would chant it while going through chemotherapy. Out of instinct, because she was told she can chant the mantra and blow on a glass of water to make the water a healing water, she instinctively chant over her medicines and blow over them while the chemicals are getting inside her body to fight her cancer cells. On top of that, she decided to continuously drink the temple water and would let her husband drink them while she silently chant the mantra with the hope that her husband quit his addiction.

While her cure was not astoundingly miraculous, AG still feels that there was indeed divine intervention. According to her, her doctor has continuously remarked that she was responding to the treatment far better than expected and that the side effects on her was not as bad. She was given 5 years to be careful before they can fully say that she survived cancer.

All this was 17 years ago. I met AG because thru a friend, and she said she could now be totally considered as a survivor. There was no remission in 17 years! AG believes that the miracle was all due to the mantra that she constantly chanted.

As for her husband, her husband suddenly went cold turkey over drugs. It is as if he just woke up one day and thought he can live without drugs, and he did! Also for 17 years now!

I guess one can say that they’re both survivor!

I just want to add that they now have 5 grandchildren from their children!

On my next post, I’ll write about the mantra.

Myth Buster 28: A Broken Picture Frame Is A Bad Omen

Published Hulyo 3, 2015 by jptan2012
Photo uploaded from Google Images.

Photo uploaded from Google Images.

I think it is an international belief that when a picture falls off or if a picture frame breaks, its usually taken as a sign of a bad omen that something bad will happen to the person on the picture. So much so that it usually uses as a minor plot on movies and TV dramas to heightened the drama that something bad is about to happen.

This is both a myth but at the same time, it’s not. Let me explain myself.

Pictures are our extension, so there is some truth that part of our soul is captured once our picture is taken. But of course, it’s not the soul that is being captured but the photo becomes an extension of our chi or life force. This happens without our life force or chi being diminished, and the chi on the picture is so small that some Feng Shui experts and Taoist priest still debates whether it is of any significance.

Personally, I think it is of some significance, but not significant enough to make us paranoid every time we had our picture taken.

Anyway, going back to the topic, if your picture fell from the wall or if your picture frame breaks does that mean that something bad is about to happen.

I think it means that something bad is bound to happen, however, photos being an extension of yourself, might have absorbed it already that you need not be afraid, it means it has been prevented already. However, in some rare instances, if what is about to happen is really something big or something really terrible then maybe something will still happen but whatever it is it definitely has been diminished because your photo has absorbed some of it.

But how do we know whether something will still happen or not? It’s hard to say, so as a safety precaution, one can light some incense, chant a mantra, or make a donation in a temple or church, or wear amulets like the Vajrapani Ruel or wear images of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas.
