Feng Shui and Buddhist Love Spells and Love Rituals!

Published Pebrero 14, 2017 by jptan2012

I don’t know whether you have notice this but I don’t really write a lot about Feng Shui love rituals or Feng Shui love spells for that matter. The longest article I have written about the topic was written several years back, and quite surprisingly it is constantly one of the most read article of this blog.

However, since a lot of you have been sending me emails or messages asking questions about how to attract love or on how to reignite the flame of love, this is especially true for those who are already married.

Today, allow me to share with you some of the said rituals that have worked for some readers and acquaintances or friends. Thought of writing these now because it is the month of love and February 14 is Valentine’s Day!

I will avoid writing about those things that I have written in the past, but will instead focus on those that I have never talked about on this blog before.

FENG SHUI CANDLE LOVE RITUAL TO BRING LOVE INTO YOUR LIFE OR BRING BACK A LOST LOVE:

You will need four white votive candles, one pink votive candle, and one red votive candle. Preferably they should all be of the same size.

Do this ritual in a private place where you can have a small pool or a tub or Jacuzzi. If the tub or Jacuzzi is in the same room as the toilet, make sure to do a thorough physical and auric cleaning first by scrubbing the whole bath and toilet with salt water.

Place all the white votive candle on the side of the pool or a tub or Jacuzzi. Follow the compass directions East, West, North, and South. Light them starting from the East, followed by South, then West, then North. Position yourself on the center of the tub or small pool or Jacuzzi then light or as a trusted friend to light the pink and red candle first. Have a small container to hold them so that the wax doesn’t drip on your palms. Then visualize that the light from the pink candle (which should be on your left hand) goes clockwise mixing with the light from the red candle (which should be on your right hand). The light covers you going a clockwise direction. Then imagine that the light from the four white candles becomes a protective shield for you. Do this visualization for about 5 to 10 minutes for 7 days. Making sure that the fire from the candles melts the wax completely.

After each visualization you can put the red and pink candle aside still lighted.

I first learn of this ritual several years ago, when I was still trying to learn Feng Shui. A colleague wanted to do a love ritual that will help her get the love and a partner in life. She did this, and two months after she met a guy who will later on become her husband. She believes that it was this ritual that brought her husband in her life. They have now married for 17 years and have two daughters.

According to my Feng Shui teacher the same ritual can bring back a lost love.

INVOKING THE HELP OF BODHISATTVA KUAN YIN TO BRING BACK A LOST LOVE. A BUDDHIST LOVE RITUAL.kuan yin 5

This is perhaps one of the most powerful Buddhist love ritual that I have recommended. Several of my readers and friends have tried this and all attest to its power to bring back a lost love. However, this ritual only works if the lost love is only due to minor karmic predicament, and not ancestral problem or not a very strong flaw in the Bazi chart or Paht Chee chart of the couple. I noticed that this is mostly for married couples.

The ritual is quite simple. All you have to do is write your name and birthday and that of your husband or wife or partner in a small piece of plain white or plain yellow paper. Make sure that you use red ink.

Go to a temple or if you have an image of Kuan Yin Bodhisattva (Guan Yin, Guan Shi Yin, Kuan Shi Yin, Avalokitesvara, Kannon). Light three incense sticks and say: NAMO KUAN SHI YIN PUSA (3X), MAY I AND –name of your partner- RECEIVE THE BLESSING OF YOUR COMPASSION SO THAT OUR RELATIONSHIP WILL STRAIGTHEN OUT.

Then chant 108x (one full male) of OM MANI PADME HUM.

Then place the piece of paper at the foot of the image of Bodhisattva Guan Yin. Do this either in the temple or on your own altar. Doing it in the temple and placing the piece of paper at the foot of the image of Bodhisattva Guan Shi Yin in the temple is better and it will work faster, however, you have to make sure that the temple allows it.

I have recommended this several times to my readers, I would say there are about 19 people/couple who have tried it. Only one claims that it didn’t work for her, and I lost contact with another one.

THE 100 DAYS FENG SHUI LOVE RITUAL TO BRING LOVE INTO YOUR LIFE.

If you are single and wants to be in a relationship, you should get yourself a locket and on a small piece of plain yellow or plain white write your name with a red ink and your simple wish. Place it inside the locket and everyday of 100 days; place a fresh petal inside the locket. The petal should be pink or red in color. Place the petal in the morning before 7AM, and take it out the following morning replacing it with a fresh petal. Do it for 100 days. And you soon find love. I have several readers, who did this, and what is amazing about this is that not all of them found love of a partner; sometimes they just learned to love themselves.

Surangama Mantra Amulet N

Pure Land Buddhists believes that when you wear a Surangama Mantra Amulet, heavenly beings that has an affinity with you will hover over you.

I’ve shared before about this Chinese woman who with the use of Surangama Mantra Amulet and some Feng Shui was able to find a husband for her daughter. The Surangama Mantra Amulet when worn is said to attract and activate your connection with the heavenly beings, so much so that they ‘hover’ you. This does not only become a protective amulet but it gives you charisma and charm also because it lightens your aura. My Guru Lama has a treasure trove of stories that I will share in the future posts about people who were able to find love or bring back a lost love when they started wearing the Surangama Mantra Amulet.

I would like to clarify though that the Surangama Mantra Amulet should not be considered as a love amulet, although it has that kind of effect.

TAP INTO THE POWER OF A TRADITIONAL SUTRA AMULET TO GET RID OF THE HINDRANCES THAT PREVENTS US FROM RECEIVING THE LOVE WE HAVE.

Recently, I wrote about the story of Grace who got separated with her husband, and along with receiving some financial blessing, also reunited with her husband because of the Traditional Sutra Amulet. There are different Traditional Sutra Amulet (TSA) and all has the power to shower us the blessing of acquiring our wishes be it financial or love or relationship luck. The one used by Grace was THE DIAMOND SUTRA, but for love luck that is experiencing some road blocks or hindrances, THE AVATAMSAKA SUTRA is the best, this works specially well for those two people who are in love but are victims of circumstances. For examples, parents are not in favor, third party, poverty, etc.

All you have to do is put your name and that of your partners name on piece of plain white or plain yellow paper. Use red ink. Then just place it inside the TSA. But as you can see, Grace need not do this. She just had it and it worked for her.

There are a lot of other ways to attract love or mend a lost love. In fact, my Guru Lama performs a special ritual for selected people to get two people together. But this ritual is only for couples that are definitely for each other but are broken apart by different circumstances. Remember the rituals mentioned above will only work if you are also meant for each other. It is not witchcraft to make people fall in love with you, but rather it simply eradicates the hindrances.

How Fast Does An Amulet Work?

Published Oktubre 18, 2016 by jptan2012

One of the most common question people ask me is – HOW FAST DOES AN AMULET WORK?

In Buddhism, he standard belief is that it takes 3 months to 7 months before you start to feel something that is brought about by the amulet. However, it is not totally alien for Buddhist to sometimes feel something already even before they physically get an amulet, simply the thought of acquiring an amulet and making a move to acquire it, like sending a donation, sometimes already signifies the start of your ‘relationship’ o affinity with the amulet. Furthermore, if for example a love one acquired an amulet for the purpose of giving it to somebody, sometimes the one who will receive it can already feel some changes brought about by the amulet. This is what happened to one of my readers, Cecile.

Cecile, intends to give an amulet to her sister so that she can patch things up with her mom, amongst other things, and Cecile believes that even before he sister received the Vajrapani Ruel, the miracle has already worked on them.

image23

TRANSLATION OF WHAT CECILE SAID:”Hi! Do you know just it was only earlier that I was able to give the Vajrapani to my Sister, but as early as yesterday she has patch things up with my mother. In fact, she even to Divisoria with her. Isn’t it great?! Even before she get it, the miracle has already happened to her. ” – The last part of her sms she talked about my article about ripped jeans, which she suspects is the cause of the lowering of her child’s grades. Then she talked about being vegan.

The Vajrapani Ruel itself enjoys some miracles that are quite instantaneous, so even if Buddhist beliefs states that it should be about 3 months to 7 months, sometimes it can be so much faster than that, and it’s totally possible as proved by some of the personal testimonies found on this blog.

But what are the factors that makes it work faster than others?

Well, there are several factors. Belief plays a role in it, but as you can see in the post entitled – Vajrapani Ruel Stories (25): Illegal Detention and Murder Cases Against An Underdog Politician Dropped (How The Vajrapani Ruel Saved A Person Without Him Knowing)– the one who was actually helped didn’t even know that he has the Vajrapani Ruel. The Karma plays an important role also. For example, some people are bound to have a specific luck, and acquiring a powerful amulet makes it faster. Still about Karma sometimes a powerful amulet takes awhile to work because it still needs to cleanse some negative karma that serves as an hindrance to the luck that one is aspiring for. Sometimes, additional or support energies help to make things faster, such as chanting of mantras, lighting of incense or candles, etc., or even good wishes from friends or loved ones.

For the Vajrapani Ruel, I notice that going Vegetarian, especially Vegan, makes it work faster.

At the end of the day, our attitude towards the amulet contributes to the efficacy of the amulet. Note, I stated that our attitude contributes but I would like to make it clear that it’s not the determining factor because an amulet will work or not whether we believe in it or not. Especially if its a powerful amulet.

Recite – A – Sutra (7): Recite the Ullambana Sutra on the 15th Day of the 7th Lunar Month – How the Hungry Ghost Month Is Not Just About Negative Energies – It Is Also Time To Change One’s Bad Fate to A Positive One!

Published Agosto 15, 2016 by jptan2012

Today is such a special day, not for any other reason but because today (again time of writing does not necessarily reflect day of posting, although this will be posted on August 16, 2016) I get to share with you, as instructed by my Guru Lama the Ullambana Sutra, which is one of the most important Mahayana Sutra that has to be chanted on the fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month that is popularly known as the Hungry Ghost Festival, but as you will see the worst day of the year is also the Ullambana Day, which is a tool for us to turn this day into a positive one.

But I think I’m getting ahead of myself. I really don’t know where to start because I’m really excited to share this. I have been wanting to write about this but my Guru Lama has prohibited me from doing so, but now he has agreed that I write about it.

So let me see. Where do I start?

The Hungry Ghost Month, which happens on the 7th lunar month, is a dreaded month. Its peak is on the 15th day of the 7th lunar month. For this year, the peak happens on August 17, 2016. So it’s eve, which is on August 16 and a day after that which is the 18th of August are considered to be the second most dread day. There are a lot of negativities associated with the Hungry Ghost Month and the Hungry Ghost Festival, in fact, I have written much about it also, and the following are just some of it:

If you notice, there was a particular attention on the 2014 Hungry Ghost Month only because the effects of the Hungry Ghost that year was particularly strong. It was quite a bad year that year. A lot of the negative worldwide things that are still happening now started that year.

It is because of the things that I have written about that the Hungry Ghost Month is one of the most dreaded months of the year. And rightly so because the threat that it brings are very real. In fact, this year, the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro was filled with a lot of flaps from World Class athletes, there were also a lot of accidents and problems. Furthermore, on a personal level, I won’t be surprised if a lot of you are experiencing illness, depression, loss of money, or even loss of a relative, or had some accidents.

I have written extensively about the cures of the Hungry Ghost Month and will not write about them anymore but as some sort of review, the cures are Chung Kwei, Vajrapani Ruel, gold Kalachakra pendant, Surangama Mantra Amulet or even the Illness Suppression Amulet.

But today, what I would like to talk about is how the Hungry Ghost Festival, the day of the Hungry Ghost itself can be turned into a day of positive energy and attract good luck especially wealth luck and family luck.

I always say that when there is bad luck, I’m quite sure that the Buddha has provided us with the tools already. Sometimes we just have to discover them and find out about it.

The answer to countering this bad luck and turning it into a positive one is with the ULLAMBANA RITUAL. Needless to say the main ingredient in this ritual is by reciting the ULLAMBANA SUTRA!

First, what are the Ullambana Ritual and the Ullambana Sutra?

The Ullambana Sutra is one of the earliest sutras shared by Buddha Shakyamuni back at the days when He still has a physical body. The Ullambana Ritual is one of the oldest rituals; because it was first held during the time of Shakyamuni Buddha, again back at the days where He still has a physical body. Roughly speaking the ritual is about 3,000 years old. (Buddhism is about 500 years older than Christianity.)

If one does the Ullambana Ritual and chants the Ullambana Sutra, one has the power to save the lives of your elders up to 7 generations up. What good will this do? It will also create a tremendous amount of good luck for the one who did the ritual.

Ullambana is a Sanskrit word that means ‘to save from suffering’. Ullam means ‘being hung upside – down’, which was derived from a form of suffering experienced by Hungry Ghosts, and Bana means ‘to save’.

In the Buddha Speaks of the Ullambana Sutra, Maudgalyayana one of Buddha’s great disciple, Venerable Maudgalyayana, upon gaining the enlightenment and the Wisdom Eye, saw his mother became Hungry Ghosts and he saw that she is suffering and has an image of skin and bone, unable to take any food or drink. Venerable Maudgalyayana immediately made some food offering to his mother, but food when it was about to eaten by the spirit of his mother, turned into ashes. Venerable Maugdalyayana was deeply worried and asked Buddha for help.

At this point, allow me to lift several paragraphs from the website of BPL Monastery about the Ullambana Sutra and Ullambana Ritual:

Buddha told Maudgalyayana that due to his mother’s heavy karma Maudgalyayana alone was not enough to save her. On the 15th of July on the lunar calendar when all the monastics finished their summer retreat, he must offer to Sangha of the ten directions with a hundred kinds of delicacies. With the strengths of all the Sangha and the merit and virtue from such offering, he could then save his parents of the current life and seven lives past, and relatives from the suffering of the three evil paths.

Venerable Maudgalyayana followed Buddha’s instructions and was successful rescuing his mother from suffering as a hungry ghost. He then asked Buddha if Buddha’s disciples of the future wishing to practice filial piety could follow the Ullambana offering to help their parents of current and up to seven lifetimes past. Buddha answered, “Those who wish to practice compassionate filial conduct for the sake of the parents who bore them, as well as for the sake of fathers and mothers of seven lives past, on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, the Day of the Buddhas’ Delight, the Day of the Sangha’s Pravarana, they should vow to cause the length of life of the present father and mother to reach a hundred years without illness, without sufferings, afflictions, or worries, and also vow to cause seven generations of fathers and mothers to leave the sufferings of the hungry ghosts, to be born among men and gods, and to have blessings and bliss without limit.”

Who should do the Ullambana Ritual?

Well, technically speaking, we should all do the Ullambana ritual for our parents and other family members who passed away. We can also do this for all our ancestors and also for all sentient beings who are suffering in the realm of the Hungry Ghost.

However, if you notice that your suffering or bad luck started when a parent or family member passed away then you should definitely do the Ullambana ritual for that family member. Also, if you are suffering from lack of financial luck and also if you have a tremendous family problem you should definitely do the Ullambana ritual.

How often should you do it?

Do it every year, even if your parents are not in the realm of Hungry Ghost, or even if they have been reborn or reincarnated already, they will still benefit from the Ullambana ritual.

But more than that, we who offer them the Ullambana ritual will also gain a lot of blessings, but this should not be the primary reason, the primary concern should be for those relatives who have moved on.

How to do the Ullambana ritual?

Nowadays, Buddhist temples have made it easy for us to do the Ullambana ritual. All you have to do is go to the temple, and then register or enroll the name of the dead person whom you want the benefits of the ritual be offered to. The temple will arrange for you all the necessary offerings. You may or may not attend the actual ritual, but attending is highly encouraged because the merits gained when you attend is so much better or higher if you are physically and emotionally participating in the said ritual.

However, the purpose of this post is to teach you on how to do the ritual. Why? Because doing it yourself is so much better than having it done. What I usually do is enroll the name of my departed ancestor to a Buddhist temple and let them do the ritual, but at the same time, we also do the ritual at home.

Doing the ritual is actually easy, albeit it might be a little tedious.

Below is the step-by-step guide on how to do the ritual on the 15th day of the 7th lunar month:

Note: You can do the ritual anytime of the day, but it is better to do it early in the morning. Also preparing the ingredients a day before will make things easier. The most ideal time to do this is around 2AM.

  1. Brush your teeth and take a bath. Do not eat anything.
  2. Put on decent clothing.
  3. On a big table, put in the center an image of a Buddha or a Bodhisattva.
  4. Then put the following:
    1. Bowl of cooked rice put some chopsticks or spoon.
    2. A bowl of each vegetable that is either boiled or steamed: Broccoli, Carrots (cut into cubes), Cauliflower, Upo (White Squash / Sitting Vegetable) or Sayote (Chayote), Sweet Potatoes (Cut into Cubes), Mushroom, Radish (cut into cubes).
    3. The following fruits arrange into a small pyramid like structure: Apples, Oranges, Pears.
    4. One brunch or piece each of the following fruits: Pineapple, Banana, Grapes, Papaya or Pomelo or Watermelon or Melon.
    5. Three bottled water.
    6. Three blankets.
    7. Three Red Envelopes (Ang Pao) with some money.
    8. Optional: One to three sacks of rice.
    9. Optional: Fabric that is similar to what the monks wear.
  5. Light a single incense stick and chant the INCENSE PRAISE:
    1. The censer is now lit, suffusing the Dharma realm;
    2. And from afar the scent is inhaled by the True Buddha Assembly.
    3. Auspicious are the gathering clouds, as we now request,
    4. With sincere and earnest hearts, that all Buddha manifests.
    5. Homage to the Enlightened One, cloud canopy of fragrance, Bodhisattvas, Mahasattvas. (3x)
  6. Then light a candle or lamp.
  7. Then on a piece of yellow paper (lengthwise of a standard size bond paper), write the name of the person, date of birth and date of death. You can also put “ANCESTORS OF (YOUR NAME)”. Then place the paper near the foot of the image of the Buddha or Bodhisattva. You can do the writing before hand. If more than one name, one paper for each name. Use a red pentel pen in writing the names of the dead person.
  8. Then put the incense on an incense burner or incense holder or on the rice.
  9. Then face the table (standing) or make shift altar and chant the following three times while your palms are together in front of your chest, about an inch below your chin:
    1. Namo Fundamental Teacher Shakyamuni Buddha
  10. Then still in the same position, chant the following:
    1. The dharma infinitely profound and subtle, is rarely encountered even in a million of kalpas. We are now able to hear, recite, and follow it, may we realized the Tatagatha’s true meaning.
  11. Then take a seat.
  12. Chant the Ullambana Sutra (3x). Download  The Buddha Speaks of the Ullambana Sutra here.
  13. After chanting the mantra, stand up again and chant the following: LI PO LI PO TI, QIO HÊ QIO HÊ TO, TUO LO NI DI, NI HÊ LA TI, PI LI NI DI, MO HÊ QIE TI, QIEN LING QIE TI SA PO HÊ (3X)
  14. Get the bowl of rice and pinch a small amount and throw it on the East, then do the process again, this time West, then South, then North, then Northeast, Southeast, Northwest, and Southwest.
  15. Then burn the yellow papers.
  16. Dismantle the make shift altar, starting with the image of the Buddha or Bodhisattva.
  17. Keep the blanket, and also the sack of rice (if you offered them). Also keep the cloth (if you offered them).
  18. Keep the ang pao or red envelope with money.
  19. Bring the blanket, sack/s of rice, cloth and red envelope (ang pao) to a temple and donate it.

Some Buddhist temple will do the Ullambana for 7 consecutive days. Some will do it a few days before the Ullambana festival itself, but if you’re doing it at home, it is so much better to do it on the day of the Ullambana Festival itself (15th day of the 7th lunar month / coincides with the Hungry Ghost Festival).

You can also recite the Ullambana Sutra after the Ullambana Festival/Hungry Ghost Festival without doing the full ritual. Always end the reciting of the Ullambana Sutra by saying: I DEDICATE THE MERIT OF THIS DEED TO MY “PARENTS” OR “NAME OF A PERSON” OR “ANCESTORS”.

Let Us All Pray for Peace and Protection for the Philippines and Asia!

Published Hulyo 15, 2016 by jptan2012

The Philippines is currently in a very volatile situation, we just won the in the international court in The Hague, and while there is much reason to celebrate; the country was also put in a compromising situation. Why? Because China is a big bully and it is clear that they won’t honor the ruling and in fact has already called it null and void. The Philippines interim Department of Foreign Affairs secretary, Perfecto Yasay, who was involve in a controversy when he was still a SEC Chairman, has acknowledge this but unfortunately he has offered a less appealing ‘solution’ which earned him the ire of many Filipinos.

I will no longer go into the details of the matter. Simply Google it and you would know what is the case all about. Whether it is called South China Sea or West Philippine Sea, one thing is clear, the country is in a volatile situation at the moment. Worst situation is go into war, and while other countries has started to show their support by sending forces in the country, when China declares war with us and if with our without allies it is going to be a delicate and precarious situation with us.

It is because of this I strongly urge all my readers to please pray for the Philippines and the Southeast Asian countries. Please pray the following mantras everyday, 108 times a day each mantra, for the next 6 months:

  1. OM AMI DEWA HRIH
  2. OM MUNI MUNI MAHĀ MUNI YE SOHA
  3. TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA
  4. OM MANI PADME HUM
  5. OM MAITRI MAHĀ MAITRI MAITREYA SOHA
  6. OM AH KSITIGARBHA THALENG HUM
  7. OM TARE TUTTARE TURE MAMA AYUR PUNYE JNANA PUSHTIM KURU SOHA
  8. OM VAJRAPANI HUM
  9. OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT
  10. TADYATHA OM ANALE ANALE KHASAME KHASAME BHAYRE BHAYRE SAUMA SAUME SARVA BUDDHA ADISHTANA ADISHTITE SOHA OM SARVA TATHAGATHA USHNISHA SITATAPUTRA HUM PHAT HUM MAMA HUM NI SOHA

Then you can recite the following sutras everyday also:

  1. The Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra
  2. The Diamond SutraEarth Store Bodhisattva Sutra
  3. The-Sutra-On-The-Original-Vows-And-Merits-Of-The-Medicine-Master-Lapis-Lazuli-Light-Tathagata or Medicine Sutra

Lastly, you can also offer oil, flowers, light (candle or synthetic), fruits and vegetables to images of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for peace and protection.

Dedicate all the merits of these deeds to the protection of the Philippines and SEA and also for peace.

Furthermore, those who have the Vajrapani Ruel, which is regarded as the most powerful amulet in the Buddhist pantheon, or the Surangama Mantra Amulet can help by putting the Vajrapani Ruel on top of the Philippines in a printed map, and the Surangama (also spelled as Shurangama) Mantra Amulet at center of Asia.

What’s More Powerful than A Vajrapani Ruel?

Published Agosto 26, 2015 by jptan2012

powerSeveral people have been inquiring about the Vajrapani Ruel, especially after reading that it is the world’s most powerful amulet in the Buddhist pantheon. But the truth is the Vajrapani Ruel, although a lot more affordable than the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant is still quite pricey and also at the same time the truth is the Vajrapani Ruel is also quite limited. My Guru Lama has recently sent me a few more pieces, 14 pieces to be exact but that’s just it.

The Vajrapani Ruel, which is indeed one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful amulet I have ever encountered, has given so much blessing to a lot of people, not only to those whose stories I have written about but also to those whom I have not written about. Of course, for the sake of transparency, I cannot say that the miracle of those who got the Vajrapani Ruel is not 100%. There are some who has not experienced a wonderful miracle, but almost all said that it indeed has given them some comfort or ease in life gradually although the miracle is not very outstanding. There is one in Bohol who said she seem not to have experienced anything. Sharing this as part of my desire to be transparent.

The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It's important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless. The Vajrapani Ruel itself is only about 1 to 2 inches and it varies from one ruel to another.

But is there something more important than the Vajrapani Ruel? Especially, since I’ve already mentioned here that it is quite pricey and limited.

In my earlier post entitled – WHAT’S MORE IMPORTANT THAN AN AMULET OR FENG SHUI? I mentioned that kindness, compassion, and generosity are more important that amulets and Feng Shui. As an example, I shared with you the story of BM, who is one of my readers in Davao City.

If that article talked about what’s more important than Feng Shui or an amulet, today’s articles I would like to tell all my readers who can’t get the Vajrapani Ruel, that I totally believe that there is something more powerful than the Vajrapani Ruel, and that is kindness, compassion, and generosity coupled with mantras, reading of Sutras, and sincere offerings to the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or to your fellowmen. If you’re a Christian then sincere offerings to your God and Saints.kuan yin 5

I would like to suggest that you make the following offerings: incense, flowers, light (candle or artificial candle), and fruits. One at a time will do but it will be better if you do it all at the same time.

Regarding the saying of the mantras, 108x (one full mala) a day for each mantra will do, but if you really want it to be very effective, chant 10 to 100 malas of each mantra a day.

What mantra to chant? My blog has several you can choose one from those that I have written but if you can only chant one do chant the mantra of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Kuan Yin – OM MANI PADME HUM.

8 Simple Steps to Give the Gift of Luck!

Published Hunyo 24, 2015 by jptan2012

goodluck-large-bpx-500x500I have a reader in Cebu who has a very generous spirit. She bought the Vajrapani Ruel(1) for herself, but when she found out that her friend is experiencing some problems, she was very generous to give her Vajrapani Ruel(2) to him, even if the Vajrapani Ruel(3) is not very affordable. In fact, it can be considered quite expensive. But I know because she was sincere in giving it and she is very generous, that simple act of passing on the Vajrapani Ruel(4) gave her a lot of good merit.

However, I know that not all of us will have enough money to give out expensive amulets, but what can one do if we see somebody experiencing a lot of problems and we want to help them thru Feng Shui.

There are a lot of things one can do that are not expensive, and it might not even cause you a single centavo. Here are some of them:

  1. Chant a mantra for them.
  2. Read a sutra and dedicate the merits of the act for them.
  3. Light some incense for them.
  4. Light some candle for them.
  5. Offer or fruits or flowers to the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas for them.
  6. Give them some fruits.
  7. Give them some flowers.
  8. Give them rice or sugar or salt as a gift.

Numbers 6 to 8 are gifts that has natural yang energy and the act of sincerely giving it to them also offers an added yang energy that will surely help them. Numbers 1 to 5 are very good acts that you can do for them. It may not be as strong as if they do it themselves but the act, when sincerely done, is filled with a lot of merits that it’s impossible that it doesn’t help them. What’s more by simply sincerely doing for them, you will also have some merits yourself.

So remember, while giving of images of Buddhas or Bodhisattvas, or amulets, or Feng Shui charms creates a lot of good luck for both the recipient and the giver, these things can get quite costly. So don’t feel helpless because the 8 simple acts mentioned above will work ‘magic’ as well.

Myth Buster 22: Cutting Your Finger Nails At Night Causes You to Meet Some Accident

Published Hunyo 6, 2015 by jptan2012

trimming-nailsThere’s a Filipino superstitious belief that cutting nails in the evening is bad luck and might cause you to meet some accidents. Is there truth to this?

Feng Shui wise, there’s no truth to this but why is this belief so prevalent to a lot of Filipinos?

The truth is very simple, during the olden times when there was still no electricity and cutting nails is still quite primitive for some provinces here in the Philippines because they don’t use nail cutters, and they will have to cut nails under a lamp or candle, it can be quite hard, and the person doing this usually hurts himself. Parents would then warn their kids not to cut their nails in the evening because it will hurt them. How did hurt become accident? Well, for the simple reason that a lot of us has the propensity to exaggerate.

Some parents would warn children without giving a valid reason, and soon fact because of the condition then became a superstitious belief. So go ahead cut your nails in the evening, I can assure you won’t meet any accident, just don’t do it in the dark so you don’t hurt yourself.
