Myth Buster 14: Feng Shui Works 100% of the Time

Published Setyembre 1, 2013 by jptan2012

I recently got an email asking whether Feng Shui works 100% of the time. This got me thinking, whether Feng Shui really works 100% of the time. The truth is I’ve already written about WHY FENG SHUI DON’T ALWAYS WORK more than a year ago.

However, I believe that it is worth writing about it again, this time I would like to stress two of the major reasons that I have observed why Feng Shui don’t always work. The reasons I’m writing about now is an expounding of the last reason that I’ve written in WHY FENG SHUI DON’T ALWAYS WORK which is BEING TOO NEGATIVE.

A number of emails that I receive are from women who looking for love or wants to have the ‘love of their life’ return to them. Modesty aside, I’m happy to share that there are a number of them who got their lover/partner back, and that’s because they either got the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT or thru asking them to fix something in their room or house, or one which is through a powerful amulet pendant from Thailand.

Nevertheless, recently one of them got separated again, and she came to me complaining that Feng Shui only worked for her for a while. Since I already got to know them pretty well, I’ve already formed some ideas as to why they got separated again, but, I thought I’d still talk to the husband as to why he left her again for the 3rd time.

The husband who is also a believer and practice Feng Shui said that no amount of Feng Shui can help his wife. He said, she simply was not the woman she married. She has become very negative, often times very offensive and downright disrespectful to everybody. He said, all their money has gotten to her head and that she no longer sees the poor woman she married that’s very loving and caring with everybody.

This confirmed my belief that the woman has become very negative that the husband decided to leave. He also added that he still loves her but she should start helping herself and change herself.good_or_bad_attitude

I totally agree. I know for a fact that this woman will make a person suffer just because she didn’t like what that person did. One time, she even bragged that she sent a former friend some threatening messages just because the former friend failed to deliver on time the things the woman requested her to buy. She said that she send it anonymously using a different number so that her former friend will not be able to send her negative thoughts. WRONG! Karma is in the act that one did not in the thoughts sent by another person.

I have already warned her about attracting too much negative energy, but since she continuously gets good financial luck, she just ignored my warnings. However, the negative energy that she’s accumulating is attacking her through her personal life. She still hasn’t conceived even her Bazi / Paht Chee shows that she has descendant luck. Now her husband has left her for the third time.

Writing this now, because I notice this to be true with a lot of people, they want all the luck but they remain to be very negative. Not only negative in terms of being pessimistic but also negative in a bad attitude way. The bad news is Feng Shui can only do so much. One has to learn to change also.

Myth Buster 11: Pregnant Women Brings Luck to the House

Published Mayo 30, 2012 by jptan2012

There’s a belief that pregnant women naturally brings luck to the house and drives away negative energies. Well, generally speaking this is a myth.

Generally speaking, the belief that a pregnant woman brings good luck and drives away negative energies and/or evil spirits is a myth.

Pregnant women doesn’t bring luck per se but it’s more of an indication or omen that good luck is about to come your way, and this is true only if you bump into a pregnant women who doesn’t live with you. If you have a problem and while thinking about it you bumped into a pregnant woman, or open the TV and saw a pregnant woman then it’s a very good sign that whatever problem you’re going through is going to turn out fine.

Second, having pregnant woman in the house will bring good luck and drive away negative energies is very much true in the olden times, but, I’m afraid that while it may still have some truth to it, it is not because of the pregnant woman itself but more of the process of giving birth.

What brings luck is the yang energy brought about by the process of giving birth , which in the olden times usually happens at home. It’s the blood spilled in the process of birth that cleanses the house of the woman from negative energies and/or evil spirits thus cleansing the house. One other thing that brings luck to the house is the fresh and pure yang energy of a healthy baby.

Myth Buster 10: Lucky Rabbit’s Foot

Published Mayo 13, 2012 by jptan2012

When I was a still a young boy, I remembered being given a rabbit’s foot by my father’s friend. It was supposedly to be a good luck charm. While this belief is not as famous here in the Philippines as it is abroad, I realized that they’re a lot of people who really believes in it.

Nowadays, it is generally believed that a rabbit’s foot serves as a good luck charm for the one who carries it, but the truth is it really started out as protection charm or amulet rather than a good luck charm. It was first used as a good luck charm of young men during the times when hunting is still one of the basic way of getting food on the table. However, it’s use as a protection charm turn into lucky charm because when the world started to become more ‘civilized’ and ‘safer’, its appeal as a protection charm started to lose its appeal. It is then when it because a lucky charm and not a protection charm.

But it is really not clear whether when this belief really started. The most prevailing belief is that it started during the pre-Celtic era when young boys, are trained to hunt. One of the first thing that they’ll hunt for are rabbits, and they will be given the foot of the very first rabbit that they hunted.

Nevertheless, the question is is there truth to the belief that a rabbit’s foot is a lucky or protection charm. If you analyze the history that I just shared, you’ll see that the original use of the rabbit’s foot is not as a charm or amulet, but it’s more of a symbol of a passage from being a boy to being a young amateur hunter, albeit still a boy.

If you look at it in a Feng Shui perspective, a rabbit’s foot creates bad chi, thus it is neither a protection nor lucky amulet. One will have to assume that the rabbit’s foot is actually from a dead rabbit, in Feng Shui, anything that’s dead creates a Yin energy thus it is bad for humans who should be predominantly Yang. If we are to assume that it’s from a living rabbit, it still creates bad chi, because you will have to cause pain to the rabbit to get it. Something that is totally anti-thesis of Feng Shui and Buddhist teaching.
