2018 Year of the Earth Dog – A Year With Bleak Financial Forecast and Poor Moneymaking Capacity: Understanding What Has Been Written and Also What Has to Be Done!

Published Nobyembre 8, 2017 by jptan2012

2018 dogI have initially written and scheduled a different article to be posted today. However, the overwhelming response to the two previous articles about the 2018 Year of the Earth Dog and how the metal element, which represents wealth luck / financial luck / money luck for the year, is totally absent from the year’s Bazi Chart (Paht Chee Chart).

Note: It might be better for you to read the first two articles preceding this post – (1) AN IMPORTANT PEEK TO THE 2018 YEAR OF THE EARTH DOG: A BLEAK FINANCIAL FORECAST AND EARLY PREPARATION IS KEY! and (2) A SPECIAL GOLD PIYAO EMPOWERED BY A CRYSTAL TO INVITE WEALTH LUCK.

The responses to the said two articles are overwhelming that I have decided to write another article about it to clarify some of the things. I have taken some of the most common or frequent questions sent to me via email or sms or even phone calls and decided to answer it here.

  1. Who is affected?

Technically speaking, almost all of us are affected. The severity of it will depend on several factors:

  • Your Chinese Animal Zodiac (Chinese Zodiac Sign) and I should write about this in the main forecast.
  • Stability of your business. Naturally the more stable your business is the less you will feel the effect.
  • Stability of your tenure in the company, if you are an employee. Again, if you have proven yourself to be a valuable employee the less chances of you being affected.
  • Stability of your Feng Shui either at home or office. It is important that you have a strong Feng Shui foundation in the sense that there is no or not much Feng Shui blunder. You might be stable but because you have a Feng Shui blunder which you have ignored so far because you are making money anyway, you might be affected by this. You see a slightly stronger negative energy combining with the negative effect of your Feng Shui blunder might create havoc for you.
  • Degree of compassion or kindness in your heart. I don’t mean to sound so dramatic, and this is definitely not a cliché, but the amount of goodness of your heart will definitely have an effect on how malevolent energies affect you. If you are sincerely a good person, you’ll find yourself being able to fight this negative effect of the absence of the metal element, ergo the absence of wealth and money, in the chart of the year. I don’t just say this out of the blue. One my reader turned friend BM, whom some of you might be familiar with because I often wrote about her is a living testament to this. Last year, being born in the year of Ox, she has one of the worst luck. But because she is a truly and genuinely good person who is very compassionate and kind and selfless, she breeze through the year with only minor hitch that are easily taken care of and it didn’t cause her any serious trouble.

  1. Is it all negative for 2018?

No. Definitely not! In my main forecast, you will see the good things. I shall write about it soon. But the lack of wealth luck as signified by the absence of metal element on the year’s bazi chart is a serious and important matter, thus the need to write about it sooner so that we can all prepare.

  1. Is this only base on my computation, analysis and interpretation of the chart? And how accurate are the forecast?

I always do my own computation, analysis, and interpretation of the annual bazi chart. From that process I create my forecast. However, this is something that I alone concluded and shares. My Feng Shui teacher in Hong Kong has the same interpretation, my Guru Lama has warned about this a long time ago thus he decided to come up with the VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET and the SPECIAL GOLD PIYAO. But importantly, outside my circle the more prominent and reliable Feng Shui experts are also saying the same thing. Not to name drop, but even the world’s most famous Feng Shui expert, Lillian Too, is saying the same thing. I just don’t know how serious does she consider this as a concern.

Vaisravana Dzambhala Wealth Amulet

The Vaisavana – Dzambhala Wealth Amulet has the consecrated copies of the mantras of King Vaisravana of the Four Heavenly Kings and the mantras of the Five Dzambhalas. Furthermore, there are some special ingredients in powder form that are included to add to the potency of the amulet. Before it is sealed it is furthered consecrated on the image of The Four Heavenly Kings. It is placed in a metal case, not just for its durability and protection but according to the Tantric Buddhist Scripture book where Guru Lama got the instructions for this amulet, it has to be placed in cylindrical metal case to symbolize continuity and stability.

Regarding to how accurate are the forecasts. That would be hard to say, I would say that no forecasts are 100% accurate. However, given that several, in fact most, reputable Feng Shui experts are saying that the absence of the metal element in the bazi chart is of concern should show some degree of accuracy. Furthermore, and modesty aside, you can also review all my annual forecast, since I forecasted the havoc of Typhoon Haiyan (Typhoon Yolanda) in the Visayas (the only Feng Shui writer or believer at that who has pinpointed that a calamity will happen in Visayas almost a year before the actual event and not post – event), I have always been credited of a more or less accurate annual forecast, that includes even the earthquake in Nepal. I say this with modesty, but I thought it’s worth raising this not to scare people but to make people aware. It is useless knowing something may happen if we cannot do anything about it.

  1. What can we do to be protected?

There are several ways to ensure that you are protected and I have written about this extensively on the first article about this year’s forecast. You can click on the link to read it: AN IMPORTANT PEEK TO THE 2018 YEAR OF THE EARTH DOG: BLEAK FINANCIAL FORECAST AND EARLY PREPARATION IS KEY!

In that article I talked about the fact that you should start now by ensuring that should there be a financial crisis you will not be affected. For business owners, do this by ensuring that clients cannot rescind your contract in a whim. That is one way of ensuring that you are protected. One has to save up also. For employees, do not spend all your 13th month pay and Christmas bonus this December. Spend wisely.

As mentioned, being sincerely good will reaps you good or better karma and it should help.

I have also discussed the use of amulets, and of course the VAJRAPANI RUEL is still going to be very useful, but for situations like this you might want to use or have the amulet that was recently rediscovered by Guru Lama, which has recently made and released because he has long since known of the bleak financial prospects of the last 3 lunar months of 2017 and of the lunar year 2018. I’m talking about the VAISRAVANA – DZAMBHALA WEALTH AMULET(2). Click on the link to read about it.

Also, Guru Lama has used some blessed or empowered gold from the temple to fashion a specially designed PIYAO (also called or spelled as Pi Yao, Pi Xiu, Pixiu, Pi Xie, Pixie) to address this concern. This Special Gold Piyao has special designs to address this concern, but you will see that it is more than just for 2018, a Piyao whether with financial crisis or not is a good wealth amulet, and it is also a good protection charm. Read my post about it – A SPECIAL GOLD PIYAO EMPOWERED BY A CRYSTAL TO INVITE WEALTH LUCK! The money for the exchange of energies for this will go feed the novice monks, for clothes, and also an image of Buddha or Bodhisattva will be made plated in gold under your name.

However, that’s not the only thing that you can do. These amulets can be really pricey as most real and powerful amulets are, because of the process in making it, and the rituals or offerings that has to be made under your name. To understand this better, read this post – BASIC BUDDHISM 5: THE EVOLUTION OF ACQUIRING AN AMULET.

But of course, it is not all about amulets. In fact, if you can go under deep meditation and chant some mantras, it might even be more powerful that wearing amulets. Amulets are just but tools for us to tap into the power of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas. In my post – THE CHALLENGING LAST QUARTER OF THE YEAR: WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO PROTECT ONESELF– I wrote about the different protective mantras one can chant. Remember that these mantras are extremely powerful when chanted under deep meditation. For financial luck you can chant the following combination of mantras 108x each mantra under deep meditative state. A state wherein you are no almost not aware of your surroundings. The mantras are the following:

  • Mantra of the Compassionate Bodhisattva Kuan Yin: OM MANI PADME HUM
  • Mantra of King Vaisravana of the Four Heavenly Kings: OM VAISRAVANA YE SOHA
  • Mantra of Yellow Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE SOHA
  • Mantra of White Dzambhala: OM PADMO KRODA ARYA DZAMBHALA HRIH DAYA HUM PHAT
  • Mantra of Red Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE DANAM MEDIHI HRIH DAKINI DZAMBHALA SAMBHARA SOHA
  • Mantra of Green Dzambhala: OM KARMA DZAMBHALA AH SOHA
  • Mantra of Blue/Black Dzambhala: OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE BASHU DARINI SOHA
  • Mantra of Wealth Granting Tara: OM TARE TUTTARE TURE DANAM ME DADA SOHA

  1. What if I can’t afford the amulets and don’t want to chant mantras?

I still believe rather strongly that a sincere PRAYER WORKS!!! I don’t think I need to expound about this. But we should always remember that a prayer works!!!!

Lastly, I want to share what a wise woman from Davao whom I fondly call BM here on this post said to me just today. She said that in times like this WE SHOULD TRUST THAT OUR FAITH IS STRONGER THAN OUR FEARS!

Basic Buddhism 7: Buddha Dipankara – A Powerful Protector, A Wealth Enhancing and Wealth Protecting Buddha, Patron Protector Buddha for Sailors or Seamen, and the Buddha Who Predicted the Enlightenment of Sakyamuni Buddha!

Published Setyembre 22, 2016 by jptan2012

A lot of you, especially if you are a regular reader of this blog, may know Amitabha Buddha, Sakyamuni Buddha / Shakyamuni Buddha, and Medicine Buddha. But not many will know Dipankara Buddha (also spelled as Dipamkara Buddha), however, serious students will most likely have an inkling as to which Buddha Dipankara is and or at the very least would have read about Him in some of the sutras. In fact, if you follow one of my suggestions to recite – a – sutra, especially “The Diamond of Perfect Wisdom Sutra” (also called The Diamond Sutra, The Vajra Cutter Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, The Vajra Sutra, The Vajra Cutter Sutra) mentions Buddha Dipankara several times. In the said sutra, Buddha Sakyamuni told his followers that Dipankara Buddha was His teacher in a previous life.

Buddha Dipankara is a very powerful protector, and is considered as the patron protector Buddha for sailors. According to my Guru Lama, Dipamkara Buddha is also the patron protector Buddha of all seamen and sea women. Practically anybody who works on a ship or in the sea. You have to note that during early times major traders or major trading involves sailor and the sea, thus Buddha Dipankara is considered as a powerful wealth enhancing and wealth protecting Buddha. Not only will he protect your wealth, but he will also help enhance your wealth luck.

But who is Dipankara Buddha?dipamkara-buddha1

Dipankara / Dipamkara Buddha is called as on the Buddha of the Past. Most of you would know that there have been a lot of Buddha in the past, and Buddha of the Present is Sakyamuni Buddha, and the Buddha of the Future is going to be Bodhisattva Maitreya (otherwise known as “The Happy Fat Buddha”). Dipankara Buddha is one of the Buddha of the Past, but since he plays a prominent role in the life and eventual enlightenment of the Buddha of the Present, the Historical Buddha – Sakyamuni Buddha, Dipankara Buddha is considered as THE Buddha of the Past in the Buddhas of the Three Times.

The Buddhas of the Three Times are: Dipankara Buddha (Buddha of the Past), Sakyamuni Buddha (Buddha of the Present), and Maitreya Buddha (Buddha of the Future).

Dipankara Buddha in Chinese is called 燃燈佛 (pinyin Rándēng Fo).dipankara-buddha-2

In Buddhism, it is estimated that Dipankara Buddha lives on Earth about one hundred thousand years ago. While there no archeological proof of Buddha Dipankara’s existence, he was prominently mentioned by Shakyamuni Buddha himself in several of the sutras.

Dipankara means “Lamp Bearer”, and he was accorded this name because he was the one who showed and predicted that Sakyamuni Buddha is going to be a Buddha, and this happened even before Sakyamuni Buddha was born in his latest physical body as Siddhartha Gautama.

Dipamkara Buddha is usually depicted as a sitting Buddha, although there a few one’s that shows him as a standing Buddha these are usually found in Laos, Nepal, and some parts of China. The most common images of Dipankara Buddha depict him together with Bodhisattva Manjushri and Bodhisattva Vajrapani. This is because it is stated in the sutras that Vajrapani Bodhisattva is also one of the most powerful protector amongst the Bodhisattvas and Bodhisattva acts as his ‘assistant’ (for the lack of an appropriate term) when it comes to protecting people, and Manjushri Bodhisattva because we all need wisdom even when we are protected. Another image of Dipankara Buddha is with Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (also known as Kuan Yin Bodhisattva, Guan Yin Bodhisattva, Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva, Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva) and still Bodhisattva Vajrapani. Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara is to represent compassion. If you notice Bodhisattva Vajrapani is present at both times because Vajrapani Bodhisattva is one of the most powerful protective Bodhisattva, but like Buddha Dipankara he is also great wealth enhancing Bodhisattva.

Both Dipankara Bodhisattva and Vajrapani Bodhisattva have very similar qualities that they usually go together. In fact, in making with what is regarded as the most powerful amulet in the Buddhist pantheon, the Vajrapani Ruel, the high-ranking monks usually also call on Buddha Dipankara (this was shared with me by my Guru Lama).dipankara-buddha

The secondary depiction of Buddha Dipamkara is with Buddha Sakyamuni (Buddha Shakyamuni) and Buddha Maitreya. This is to represent their stature as the Buddha of the Three Times.

One of the greatest manifestation of Buddha Dipankara is when he predicted the enlightenment of Buddha Sakyamuni, furthermore, it is said that he also predicted that Mahakasyapa and Ananda would be Shakyamuni Buddha’s acolytes.

To be able to tap into the power or energies of Buddha Dipankara, you can wear his image, prominently display his image in your home or office, and more importantly honor him by chanting Namo Rándēng Fo or Namo Dipankara Buddha. Do it 108x under deep meditation.

According to my Guru Lama, chanting the Namo Rándēng Fo and Om Vajrapani Hum while holding the Vajrapani Ruel will make the ruel more powerful.

All People in the Leadership Position Needs the Help of the Historical Fundamental Teacher, Buddha Sakyamuni!

Published Agosto 18, 2016 by jptan2012

Buddha-Shakyamuni-3-transparent-800x803The first time I wrote about Sakyamuni Buddha (also known as The Historical Buddha, and The Fundamental Teacher) is in a post called – BASIC BUDDHISM (2): THE THREE JEWELS – BUDDHA, DHARMA, & SANGHA – but in so many ways, it was really a short article meant to be a very basic introduction.

Writing about the life of Siddhartha Gautama (also spelled as Siddartha / Siddharta) is a very big task, because there is just simply a lot of information about Him, and I really don’t know how to write about Him in this blog.

Today is a special day because this is my 700th article, and I thought I’d write about Buddha Sakyamuni (also spelled as Shakyamuni) because in a way I have reached a milestone. However, I still don’t know how to write about his life, but instead I will write about one of the most frequent question people ask me: If Amitabha Buddha is known for protection and Medicine Buddha is known for health and wealth, what is Sakyamuni Buddha known for?

First, all Buddhas or Bodhisattvas are capable of doing all things, it’s just that they have certain vows or certain character drawn from vows or life as written in the sutra that makes them known for certain virtues.

Buddha Sakyamuni is the Historical Buddha because He is the Buddha who manifested in human form in this lifetime. Amitabha Buddha also manifested in human in a different lifetime. And in the next lifetime Bodhisattva Maitreya is the one foretold to be the Buddha who will manifest in a human form. Anyway, Buddha Sakyamuni is also called the Fundamental Teacher because all the Buddhist teachings that we know now and all the Buddhist practices that we know now came from Him. It is in this regard that Buddha Sakyamuni is said to bring about wisdom for all of us. But more than that His wisdom is especially for leaders who lead their country, city, business, or even department.

In a hostile environment, having the Vajrapani Ruel to tap into the power of Bodhisattva Vajrapani is important to give us a winning edge. But pairing the Vajrapani Ruel with the power of Buddha Sakyamuni, will help give you wisdom how to diffuse the hostile environment. Buddha Sakyamuni, when He was still in human form also managed several Sangha communities, each Sangha community consists of about 2,000 Bhiksus (monks) and several more Bhiksunis (Buddhist nuns) and most of these communities also have Upasakas (male Buddhist students – not monks) and Upasikas (female Buddhist students – not nuns). And he is able to manage all of them all of these Sangha communities without having major concerns or problems. So when we tap into the power of Sakyamuni Buddha (Shakyamuni Buddha) we are able to tap into His power of managing a community (in present life businesses, departments, etc.) in a way we are able to gain respect and love but at the same time leadership powers.

Furthermore, Sakyamuni Buddha in so many ways is also a diplomat. Politicians (Emperors, etc.) would go to Him and seek His advice, more than that He has curbed some wars and conflicts. This shows that when we tap into His power we are able to become diplomat and deal with high statesmen with confidence.

The best way to tap into the power of Sakyamuni Buddha and honor Him is by chanting His mantra, wearing His image, and more also lighting incense and making offerings in front of his image.

The mantras of Sakyamuni Buddha are:

OM MUNI MUNI MAHĀ MUNI YE SOHA

NAMO PEN SHI SHI CHIA MUNI FO

Basic Buddhism 4: What Is Buddhism?

Published Setyembre 26, 2015 by jptan2012

Buddhism is considered as a religion. However, technically speaking, even if it has an estimated 300 million people around the world who are considered as Buddhist, Buddhism is not a religion in the sense that there in no God in Buddhism. Buddha is not a God. But more on that on my next post about Buddha.

Buddhism has its origins about 2,500 to 3,000 years ago when Siddhartha Gautama, known as the Buddha, was himself got enlightened. Buddha itself means ‘the enlightened one’.

To a lot of Buddhist, Buddhism is a way of life, a kind of philosophy because philosophy means ‘love of wisdom’ and the ultimate of Buddhism is to be truly enlightened with the right wisdom.

Buddhism explains the real purpose of life and also helps you attain it. I know of a lot of Christians who has turn into Buddhism because it answers the basic question as to why people suffer. Buddhism explains why injustice and inequality happens. But more importantly it provides a guide on how to live one’s life that will lead to true happiness.

Basic Buddhism 3: Basic Buddhist Ideals

Published Abril 27, 2015 by jptan2012

Buddhist believes that everyone can be awakened, that all of us can become a Buddha. This is definitely stressed by Shakyamuni (also spelled as Sakyamuni)Buddha himself. To be awakened means to see reality as it is and not as we think it is. To see reality is to gain true wisdom and this wisdom will free us.

We are not trapped by external conditions, but by our misperceptions and prejudices. Whatever we do, our actions create reactions that come back to affect us. Because of this, we are responsible for our actions. Also because of this, we are responsible for our own salvation. Each one of us is capable of achieving perfection, it may not be easy, but we are definitely capable of it. The Dharma which was mentioned in Basic Buddhism 2 teaches us how.

It is said that there are many ways to achieve Buddhahood, and they fall into three general categories:
1. Performing Good Deeds
2. Meditation
3. Studying the Dharma

Basic Buddhism 2: The Three Jewels – Buddha, Dharma, Sangha

Published Abril 21, 2015 by jptan2012

three jewelsThe word buddha means ‘The Awakened One’, this refers to being awakened to the ultimate reality, to the true nature of the mind; being one who understands the world and all sentient beings without delusion, one who is perfect in wisdom and compassion. The Buddha is also sometimes called as the ‘Thus Come One’ or Tathagata, or the ‘World – Honored One’ or Bhagavat.

The Buddha is a historical being, and enjoys more evidence and historical facts than Jesus Christ that he actually existed. He is a Indian prince whose given name is Siddhartha. I will try to write more about Buddha extensively in future posts, but allow me to share briefly some of the highlights of his life now.

After years of diligent practice, Siddhartha, sitting under a Bodhi tree reach supreme enlightenment. Please note that the Bodhi tree was not called Bodhi tree then, it came after. When Siddhartha reached enlightenment, it is said that his very first words are, “Wonder of wonders! All sentient beings are inherently complete and perfect! But they do not realize it because of their delusions and cravings.”

When he reached enlightenment, he became known as Sakyamuni or Gautama Buddha. Gautama is from his name Siddharta Gautama, he then also embarked on an endless but untiring journey to teach living beings how to see the reality, how to gain true wisdom, and how to free themselves and attain true peace and joy.

Sakyamuni Buddha’s teachings are called Dharma.

Sakyamuni Buddha also gained several followers who renounced their home life to devote their lives to the practice of  Dharma, and to teach other sentient beings. They formed the ordained community of Buddhist monks and nuns and is called as the Sangha.

Sangha means ‘harmony’ or ‘harmonious assembly’. They are responsible for preserving and propagating the Dharma.

Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha are collectively called as the Three Jewels, because they are considered as the true treasures of the World.

Basic Buddhism (1): An Introduction and What to do When You Meet A Buddhist Monk or Nun

Published Enero 26, 2015 by jptan2012

My email has been barraged with questions and requests for the Vajrapani Ruel, unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be able to read all emails and between emails about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, the FOUR DHARMKAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS AMULET, the NAMTSO SALT, and now the VAJRAPANI RUEL, I think there would be more unanswered emails and I’m really sorry for this.

The internet has made it possible for people to know more about Buddhism and Buddhist amulets, however, I’m afraid that the internet has also, in a way, distorted the real concept of Buddhism. Buddhism is not simply about lighting incense, or wearing images of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or Deities, or chanting mantras. Buddhist is all that but it is definitely much more than that, what I’ve written here on this blog, despite of the fact that some people saying it is substantial, is in reality just a fraction of what Buddhism really is.

The popularity of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT with it’s numerous personal testimonies, the demand for the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS AMULET, the rising popularity and demand both for the NAMTSO SALT and the VAJRAPANI RUEL, which is considered as the most powerful amulet the Buddhist pantheon, may have diverted some people from understanding real Buddhism.

Yes, the NAMTSO SALT, the VAJRAPANI RUEL, and the FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS AMULET are some of the most powerful amulets in the world. In fact, according to Lama Zopa Rinpoche, all stupas should contain the Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras! (Speaking of Stupas and Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras, in the next few days you shall read my post about it and regarding the special gift I got from a reader, AC. These are all written already but will be posted automatically via the scheduled post.) But these things are not available to everybody, and having a bigger picture of what Buddhism is all about is way better than simply having one of these items. The WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, which is no longer available for new requests until we have delivered all requests for it, also garnered some popularity the past two years with my inbox loaded with a lot of personal testimonies about it. Again, these are just tools, Buddhism is all so much more about that.

Thus, I have decided to come up with a new category and series called BASIC BUDDHISM. The objective of which is really to talk about Buddhism outside the amulets, the wearing of pendants. The topics are going to be pretty basic because I don’t think I can talk about Buddhism deeply, but the topics should be able to give you some basic guideline on Buddhist protocol and on basic Buddhism. Nevertheless, you should understand, that there are many lineage of Buddhism. In Tibetan Buddhism alone, there are four lineages, and there is Mahayana Buddhism and there is Zen Buddhism, and Pure Land Buddhism, their basic teachings are basically the same but there may be some variations. What I will discuss here is the Buddhism that I practice, which is a mixture of Tibetan, Mahayana and Zen Buddhism. I will try my best to be very specific as to what kind of Buddhism I’m talking about if it’s possible.Buddhist monks2

After the long introduction, today let me start with something quite simple, let me talk about a basic Buddhist protocol and I chose this topic because a lot of people have been asking me about this.

What to do when you meet a Buddhist monk or nun?

Let me start for non – Buddhist. Please do not stare at them, and if you have some belief and respect for Buddhism bowing your head is already a sign of respect.

For Buddhist, it is customary to greet Buddhist monks and nuns with OM MANI PADME HUM, or AMITOFU, or NAMASTE. Do this and do a half – bow, which is actually bowing, from your waist. Make sure that you put your palms together.

Make sure you don’t touch them, especially if you’re of different gender, this is considered disrespectful. In some countries, like Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, the Buddhist monks there are not even allowed to receive things from women.

It is customary to let them pass first and bow once they have pass.

For some lineage, especially Tibetan Buddhism, it is important that you don’t stand taller than the lama; so bending your knee a little is widely appreciated.
