Vajrapani Ruel Stories (13): Migrating to Canada and Breaking Up with the Live – In Partner!

Published Hulyo 16, 2015 by jptan2012

I know that the title of this post seems to be a mixture of good and bad news but the truth is it’s really a set of good news.

According to IT, a mother of 3 children, she had to email me a total of 17 times before I was able to reply to her email, but that it seems all worth it. She is one of the few people who contacted me about the Vajrapani Ruel as soon as she read about it. She professed that she is a devout Catholic but that her problem with her son and his live – in partner has driven her to seek alternative solution, other than what her religion offers.

IT said her second son RT is a good son, and an intelligent one at that. In fact, he was suppose to leave for Canada but met a girl who seemed to have destroyed his dreams of migrating abroad.

RT met his live – in partner thru another friend. He fell in – love and they decided to live together. RT also dropped his dream of migrating to Canada to work. canada

According to IT, she initially liked RT’s girlfriend, but soon found out that she was not the sweet girl she appeared to be. She found out that she is manipulative and very vindictive. She is also a sort of a material girl. She also started bringing IT to bars every night, and this has started to affect RT’s work as well.

To top it off, IT’s daughters (RT’s sisters) once saw RT’s live – in partner flirting with another guy and they heard from common friends that she already had 2 kids from 2 different guys (something that they later were able to confirmed), on top of that, her last boyfriend left her because he caught her cheating on him with another guy. They told this to RT but RT being madly in love said that it was all in he past. IT thought RT had a point but it seems RT was also blind to her live – in partner’s emerging bad attitude, which are all very evident on IT and her daughters.

When IT first shared with me her problems I gently probed to make sure that she is not just a mother who is jealous because her son now has a woman in his life. But IT seemed to me very fair and not prone to unfair judgment and jealousy. And so she got the Vajrapani Ruel and gave it to her son, hoping that her son will come to his senses and that the girl will change.

Well, she didn’t get everything that she wished for. The girl didn’t change, but her son caught her in a middle of a vicious lie. That happened 3 weeks after she gave her son the Vajrapani Ruel. Her son, RT, was devastated for a few weeks but things turn out for the better, because her son has pursued his dream to migrate to Canada, and in fact has just left. IT said she believes that her son is now on his way to start a new and better life.

The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It's important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless.

The title needs no more explanation because ‘Friday the 13th’ says it all, both in Westerners or Easterners knows about the belief the Friday the 13th is such a bad day.

But is there truth to it?

Base on Buddhist, Taoist, and Feng Shui perspective there is no truth to the belief that Friday the 13th is a bad day. But why is it so many people believe that when the 13th day of the Western calendar falls on a Friday it creates a bad luck? Well, there are actually two explanations to it; one was discussed by Dan Brown in his book ‘The Da Vinci Code’. Let’s discuss that first.

The Knights Templar used to be a very powerful secret order. At that time King Philip IV of France feared their power and decided to order some key personnel of the Knights Templar and the slaughtering of the rest of its members. Base on Dan Brown’s book it is said that it was Pope Clement V who instigated this, but a number of historians believes that it was King Philip IV who made the order and that Pope Clement V initially vehemently protested the king’s decision. The slaughtering of the Knights Templar happened on October 13, 1307 and it was on a Friday.

Another story has something to do with the belief about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It is said Jesus’ sacrificed happened between Maundy Thursday to Black Saturday, and that there were 13 people on the Last Supper.

Please note that the belief in ‘Friday the 13th’ started on the 20th century. And it is said that charlatans to make themselves popular used these.

So don’t worry, it is quite safe to go out on a Friday the 13th!

Myth Buster 13: A Child Who Goes Under a Woman’s Skirt Will Have a Bad Luck

Published Agosto 29, 2013 by jptan2012

Often times, especially for Chinese, we hear that if a child, again most specially for a boy, who goes or ‘hide’ under their mom’s skirt will have bad luck.baby under skirt

Feng Shui experts are divided on this. Some Feng Shui consultants like Lillian Too believes that this is true. I’m not sure what is her explanation. As for me, I believe that this is a myth, most probably started when older woman gets uncomfortable when they see their grandsons or granddaughters hiding under their mom’s skirt. Most likely, this is simply uttered out due to the uncomfortable and unpleasant sight of a child hiding under their mom’s skirt. Remember, back in those days, Chinese are pretty conservative.

Heaven, Earth, Mankind: The Holy Trinity of Luck

Published Marso 3, 2012 by jptan2012

Is Feng Shui everything?

It’s easy to simply focus on Feng Shui because its mysticism is quite alluring but more than that it’s really comforting and easy to rely with something that we can buy or with something that we can simply adjust. However, Feng Shui is not everything. Feng Shui is not the only thing that affects our luck…our destiny. The truth is Feng Shui is simply 1/3 of the equation. There are other factors that governs our destiny our life.

The three factors that determine our fate are the HEAVEN, EARTH, AND MANKIND LUCK, which is also called the HOLY TRINITY OF LUCK. The word luck here might be a little misleading or limiting, because, without the prefix bad, we usually associate luck with good things. LUCK here refers to either bad luck or good luck.

Each of the Holy Trinity of Luck all affects our destiny and as you will see after reading my explanation of each luck they are all interconnected with each other.

HEAVEN’S LUCK is something that is dictated by our birth and maybe the least of the 3 lucks that can be controlled. If you’ve been reading my blog, you now more or less understand that the principles of BAZI or Feng Shui states that our birth determines what kind of luck we’ll have or what kind of relationships are we going to have with our family and friends. In fact, it even defines our personality and character. Furthermore, it defines where we’re born, when we’re born, what kind of family we’re born into.  So this is something that’s beyond control, and this already dictates 1/3 of your life luck and may be hard to change. However, another school of thought states that our Heaven’s Luck is actually determined by our karma created in our past lives. This may be a little controversial for people who don’t believe in reincarnation, but Buddhism and Taoism both states that we do in our past life of past lives affects our present life, in the same manner, whatever we do now will have an effect on our Heaven’s Luck in our future life.

Also, in Buddhism, Heaven’s Luck refers to the intervention of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, thus the need to recite mantras, read and/or carry the Sutras, make offerings of incense, offerings of flowers, water, and food, etc.

The Taoist has a slightly different view regarding this matter, they believe praying to Taoist Gods, Deities, and Immortals can only bring so much help. Taoist believe that Taoist Gods can only help us up to the extent that is allowed by the luck determined by one’s Heaven’s Luck. Meaning, the power of Taoist Gods are not infinite when it comes to changing one’s karma. Our past deeds will have the final say as to the 1/3 Heaven’s Luck we have.

EARTH LUCK is Feng Shui. Most of you who have been reading my blog now will have basic understanding of how Feng Shui works, so I really won’t discuss EARTH LUCK here. However, I would like to say that we still don’t have full control of this because the truth is, although I really haven’t discuss it further on this blog, is that Feng Shui of our homes, office, neighbors, or personal Feng Shui are not the only Feng Shui that affects us. To a certain extent Feng Shui of the city, the province, the country and its relation to its location affects us also. As you will see this is also partly due to our Heaven’s Luck.

MANKIND LUCK is the thing that we may be able to totally control, but also more often than not it’s the thing that we neglect most. Mankind Luck refers to our thoughts, words, and actions that all create an immediate karma that also contributes to our over-all luck.  Furthermore, Mankind Luck basically refers to our everyday decision and course of actions on things that we do about every day matters like how we act or react on things done to us by our relatives, friends, colleagues, boss, or clients. It also refers on the things that we do on to ourselves, or on decisions regarding our work or business or career. Some Feng Shui teachers state that Mankind Luck is also defined by the actions of the people who surround us.

As you will notice these three lucks is not a stand-alone luck. They all work hand in hand. You might have a really bad Heaven’s Luck but because you practice good Feng Shui and create good MANKIND LUCK by creating good karma and by working hard you already have a 2/3 chance of a better life.

On the other hand, you can have very good Heaven’s Luck and may not be practicing good Feng Shui and/or continuously create bad Mankind Luck by being lazy or doing bad things. You would have obviously wasted your Heaven’s Luck.

In the same manner, you could be energizing your Earth’s Luck with good Feng Shui, however, you really have a bad Heaven’s Luck and continuously to create bad Mankind Luck by being lazy or pessimistic or by creating bad Karma. Then obviously Feng Shui won’t do anything long term or worthwhile for you. You would have negated all the good Feng Shui you created.

Furthermore, if you were to subscribe to the belief of karma and reincarnation, Mankind Luck will also have great effect on Heaven’s Luck. In the same manner that practicing good Feng Shui like what was suggested in my previous post about the Cicada will also help ensure a good rebirth, which is Heaven’s Luck.

I guess, what I’m trying to say is simple. Feng Shui works, but you need to work also. Furthermore, have faith in your God whatever religion you may have.
