The Vajrapani Ruel Stories (6): Getting to Work Abroad

Published Pebrero 28, 2015 by jptan2012

work-abroadOne of the most recent readers who requested for the Vajrapani Ruel is a 32 years – old Filipino nurse. DA is the eldest of 3 children, and while not the breadwinner of her family, she certainly contributes a lot to her family income.

She was supposed to leave for Singapore 8 months ago to work as a nurse, but for some unknown reason her work order was revoked by her Singaporean employer. The bad news is that she has already resigned from her job here in the Philippines and is unable to get back. As a result, she lost her income, and had to rely on her savings and family. This caused her to get a little depressed.

She pursued looking for another job here and at the same time pursued her job application for Singapore. But nothing happened!

When she read about the Vajrapani Ruel about a month ago, she thought of getting it, but because she doesn’t have any source income she felt she can use the money for something else, but about 2 weeks ago, she decided to use part of her remaining savings to get the Vajrapani Ruel.

The Vajrapani Ruel looks simple, maybe even rustic, but this simple amulet is packed with a special talisman paper inside, with various ingredients, which includes Namtso Salt, soil, various herbs and plants, crystal, and a relic from a high lama. It's important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless.

She called me last Monday day to inform me that she is leaving for Singapore on Thursday (yesterday)! She got another job request and 2 days ago she told me that this time there is no chance of being revoked, but that just to be sure she wants me to continue praying for her. Earlier, her brother called me to inform me that her sister has left for Singapore yesterday, and that she had called them that she’s in Singapore already perfectly fine!

By the way, she got the news that she got another job in Singapore 2 days after she got the Vajrapani Ruel.

Remember my post – AURALITE: A GIFT OF LIGHT FROM A READER – about the Auralite that I received from my reader and friend Atty. B?

It turns out that aside from using the Auralite for my own healing, I can use it to help do healing to a dear friend.

CL is a dear friend from college. He has been a believer in Feng Shui and tries to incorporate Feng Shui philosophies in designing his place in San Diego, California, where he works as a financial consultant.

One day, I got a frantic call from him and he was telling me that he was down with the flu and that he has a very important meeting in 2 days. He was asking for an immediate cure.

auralite2I told him to chant the Mantra of the Medicine Buddha but he felt he needed more. I called up my Feng Shui teacher in Hong Kong, and he remembered that I was given the Auralite by a reader, so he instructed me to put a picture of CL in front of me, then place the Auralite, in front of the picture, pointed side in facing the picture, then I should chant the Mantra od the Medicine Buddha then see the power going into the Auralite from the flat side then going out to the pointed side directly going to CL’s picture.

I did, and a few hours after CL was miraculously healed of his flu!

A Reader Receives a Precious Gift from the Abbess of the Lotus Temple and Some Quaint Vajrapani Ruel Stories

Published Pebrero 25, 2015 by jptan2012

Today, I would like to share with you several quaint wonderful stories that happen to a reader MA, who has since then become a friend.

MA first contacted me to get the Vajrapani Ruel, and as soon as I met her, I sort of felt a certain affinity with her. In Filipino, we usually call this affinity ‘magaan ang loob’ or in Chinese ‘Gan Ying’.

As mentioned her experiences about the Vajrapani Ruel are quaint, and can be associated with several factors and not just about the Vajrapani Ruel. It can also be about her affinity with Kuan Yin.

Anyway, according to MA, who owns several businesses, one of which is an entertainment bar, for years she has been contacting this famous singer to perform in her bar. However, no matter how much she tried, said famous singer never responded to her FB messages and various forms of communications, even though she has left number for him to get in touch with her. One night, while holding the Vajrapani Ruel, and putting a pyrite on top of her mobile she sincerely wished that she be able to get said famous singer to perform in her bar. I think it was instinct that drove her to put the pyrite on top of her mobile phone. The next thing you know, the famous singer’s agent contacted her!

It’s important to put the ruel inside a amulet holder or something sturdy as to not ruin it. If the cloth had tear which exposes or spill the ingredients inside, the ruel becomes useless.

Another quaint miracle is that one time she got really angry. According to MA she was really mad, when all of a sudden she felt heat emanating from her amulet holder where she put the Vajrapani Ruel. And just like that MA was reminded to be calm, and she did. I believe that prevented her from contributing more harm to the situation.

Just recently, she was in a deep earnest prayer, when all of a sudden she felt like the Vajrapani Ruel holder that she has on her body seems to expand. She was awakened from her prayer reverie, but she dismissed it as part of her imagination. She started praying in earnest again, and the same thing happened. She knew then that it’s not just imagination and that the Vajrapani Ruel was somehow assuring her that everything is going to be fine.

I am not sure whether this next story has something to do with the Vajrapani Ruel, or it is simply because she has an affinity with Kuan Yin. MA and I were supposed to meet last Chinese New Year, but because I was really busy I was only able to contact her the eve of CNY. However, she missed my call so we weren’t able to meet. The funny thing is that she didn’t even see my missed call. We were supposed to go to different temples, but because we didn’t get to talk she decided to just go to Lotus Temple on her own with her family. The funny thing is she only saw my missed call the night before when she arrived or when she left Lotus Temple, I don’t really remember, but the point is it was too late for us to meet.

At the Lotus Temple, after praying and lighting her incense, a relative asked her to inquire whether there are books in the temple that they can buy. MA then approached the volunteers at the temple’s office. They initially didn’t take notice of her. When MA finally got their attention, she inquired for books and added that she’s also looking for images that she can buy, she specifically mentioned Kuan Yin. They were surprised and thought she was Chinese, when she said she’s not, they then thought she’s a collector, she said no but that she just loves Kuan Yin.

They made her wait outside the office after a while the Abbess gave her an old Kuan Yin image, and she was told that it’s an antique. She got the image for free. The price of Kuan Yin doesn’t really matter, an image of Kuan Yin is AN IMAGE OF KUAN YIN regardless of the material or whether it is antique or not. But seeing it, it does look like an old beautiful piece. The designed is patterned after Ming Dynasty portrayal of Kuan Yin. Later I was able to come across a similar material image of Amitabha Buddha, which cost approximately Php 13,000.00 (US$ 225.00) 10 years ago! But that’s not the highlight, because I never heard that the temple giving out images for free, not to mention expensive images. But later on I was able to confirm with the Abbess that something prompted her to give MA that particular Kuan Yin!

This is the picture of the Kuan Yin image that MA got from the temple. It's about 4 inches tall.

Before I finish this story, I just would like to ask that MA’s other business which is dealership of a commercial product of one of the country’s top beverage, won Top 3 as best dealer! What’s surprising is that she’s just 3 years in the business and definitely one of the youngest amongst all the dealers!!!!

Feng Shui is Also About Establishing Good Habits

Published Pebrero 23, 2015 by jptan2012

Good Feng Shui especially those who are looking for success luck should not only look into wearing Feng Shui charms or amulets like the Vajrapani Ruel or the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing and Mantra Pendant. As I have written in the past their are 3 aspects to Feng Shui, which is Heaven’s Luck (past life karma that decides where we are born, the situation we are born in, the family that we have, etc. ), Earth’s Luck (Feng Shui via surroundings), and Man’s Luck (thing that we do).

Having good habits is part of Man’s Luck, so I would like to share with you an article that I found online that talks about the habits of the world’s richest – 7 Habits of the World’s Richest People – all you have to click on the link.

So remember while the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant and Vajrapani Ruel are enjoying a lot of positive personal testimonies, each one has to do our share.

Being Really Good or Simply Being ‘Holier – Than – Thou’

Published Pebrero 20, 2015 by jptan2012

There are people who appear to be really good. Outwardly, they seem to care for all sentient beings and their philosophy in life seems to be that communicates love and goodness for all forms of earthlings, human and non – humans alike.dual personality

However, no one can really see the intention of a person, so the best judge for this is oneself. Nevertheless, there are some guidelines. How is that person at home? How does this person treat his spouse, children or most specially parents? How does the person treat their subordinates? How does that person treat those around him that may or may not be like him? How does that person treat his superiors? How does that person treat criminals? These are just some of the basic guidelines to see what’s inside a person’s heart.

A person may even think that he or she is really good, but in the end, all of us have to analyze and look within. Are we really good or simply having a subtle ‘holier – than – thou’ attitude?

Get to Know the Peace Loving Tai Suey God of the 2015 Year of the Wood Sheep – Great General Yang Xian

Published Pebrero 18, 2015 by jptan2012

Tonight is the eve of the Chinese Lunar New Year that will usher in the Year of the Sheep. And so, I think it is only fitting to introduce to you tonight the Tai Suey God of the year, I have briefly mentioned in my post 2015 YEAR OF THE WOOD SHEEP FENG SHUI FORECASR BASE ON BAZI, FLYING STARS, AND 24 MOUNTAIN STARS FORMULA: A BALANCE YEAR FILLED WITH WEALTH AND RESOURCS BUT MAY BE RULED BY ARGUMENTS AND FIGHTING (2).

This year’s Tai Sui God or Grand Duke Jupiter is called Great General Yang Xian, although he never became a General and is only called as such as an honor given to him for being part of the 60 Tai Suey Gods, he is one of two Tai Sui Gods that never became a General in their human life.2016 tai suey

The truth is General Yang Xian is more of a yogi master, and while he was a scholar he dedicated his life meditating and going on retreat interspersed with giving out lectures on peace and how to attain spiritual knowledge. If you have been a long time reader and understand the basics of Feng Shui you would have decipher that the character of the Tai Suey God will have an effect on the year, and it is in this sense that we are lucky, because as mentioned in my annual forecast that the year is ruled by a very strong #3 Flying Star which makes this year quite ‘heated’ both on a personal and macro level. If Great General Yang Xian has become a War of God, this year would see much more fighting, but since he is a peaceful god, the strong effects of the ‘Argumentative Star’ or the #3 Flying Star will no longer be heightened.

People born on the sign that ‘offends’ either directly or indirectly Great General Yang Xian, need not worry so much because he kind hearted and peace loving and is not quick to anger, but that doesn’t mean that one should not wear a Piyao.

Attracting Love Thru a Simple But Powerful Ritual

Published Pebrero 14, 2015 by jptan2012

Valentines-Day-Free-31Today, we celebrate Valentine’s Day, and I’m sure a lot of people will be interested, especially for those who are single and wanting to find their significant partner.

Aside from the things that I have shared 3 years ago in a post entitled FENG SHUI TIPS TO ENHANCED LOVE AND MARRIAGE LUCK, the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant, which is unfortunately no longer available has been found to be effective for enhancing love luck also. According to my Guru Lama, the Vajrapani Ruel will help you to identify whether the love for you of your significant other is pure or not.

However, today allow me to share with you a special but very simple ritual to enhance your love luck. All you have to do is go to a temple and offer 9 pieces of apple to an image of a Buddha or Bodhisattva if it’s a Buddhist temple or to a Taoist God or Deity if it’s a Taoist temple. The 8 apples should be of the same color and the ninth one should be different one, on that single different piece, write your name followed by the Chinese character for love or an image of a heart, and draw a stick figure of a man or woman. Then leave at the altar or at the foot of the image.

It is believe that by doing this heaven will conspire you to have your significant love.

For the apples, you can use 8 green apples and one red apple or vice versa, or Fuji apples and then one Washington Red apples. Any apples will do as long as the ninth one is of a different variant. Use a black or blue fine marker to write your name if the apple is a dark color one, use red if it’s a light color apple.

The Vajrapani Ruel Stories (5): In the Nick of Time and Money Problems Solved with the Help of the ‘Hated’ Gift

Published Pebrero 13, 2015 by jptan2012

money-problemsToday, I would like to share with you two different Vajrapani Ruel stories or personal testimonies of readers who have acquired the Vajrapani Ruel. There are two different stories, and one was just shared with me earlier by a reader turned friend.

For regular readers of this blog, you would know how rare and precious a Vajrapani Ruel is, given that it was last made 40 – 50 years ago. That’s a generation ago!!! I know that the Vajrapani Ruel is one of the most powerful ‘amulet’ in Buddhism for it is made of 70 to 90 different ingredients that includes precious first class Buddhist relics. But even then I’m still a little surprised as to how fast the testimonies started pouring in, like EL’s and JS’s stories both of which I have shared here on my blog.

Reader turned friend GS was one of the few people who got the Vajrapani Ruel even before I wrote about it. Unlike JS and EL she doesn’t have a spectacular story to share but she believes that the Vajrapani Ruel that she acquired solved a lot of the small nuances that she normally experience in her daily life.

Today, she shared with me again another Vajrapani Ruel story that although may seem petty, she believes exhibits the wonderful power of the Vajrapani Ruel. I’ll start off with her story before sharing MC’s story, which is short of miraculous in solving his money problems.

GS has a meeting in Quezon City and she also has a flight to catch. Her meeting in QC was with her biggest client so she was unable to cancel it, despite of the terrible traffic that we experienced in the Metro today. Her flight was at around 6:30PM but her meeting finished at around 4:15PM, and considering that she was supposed to be at the airport 3 hours before her flight she knew that there was not much hope. In fact, her assistant told her to just rebooked her flight. But she decided to hold the Vajrapani Ruel on her palm while driving and she got to the airport at 6PM! Just before the check – in counter closed. Everybody who lives in Metro Manila knows that for a Friday, payday, Valentine’s weekend, and on rush hour, this is quite an impossible feat! But she made it and she said it was because of the Vajrapani Ruel. In fact, she called me as was I planning to write about MC’s story.

If GS’s story is quite simple, MC’s story is short of being miraculous. MC was one of the few people who got the Vajrapani Ruel right after I wrote about it. A few days ago, MC called me to share with me her personal testimony about it.

MC is 26 years – old fourth child of a brood of six. MC has been requesting for the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant but because of production delays, I advised him not to get it. When he read about the Vajrapani Ruel he decided to get it instead.

As it turns out, he bought it for his sister who was left by her husband and was experiencing so many financial problems. According to MC, PY her sister is the best sister anyone can request for, because she helped their parents send the other siblings to school. So when MC found out that PY has been having financial problems because she is single handedly sending her 3 kids to school and rearing them up, he and his other siblings have been helping out heir eldest sister who have been really nice towards them.

However, like other financial problems, the bills and the problems seem to just keep on piling up. MC desperately wants to help PY and he cannot think of any other way but to help create good opportunity for her. As mentioned he initially decided to get the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant, but in the end settled for the Vajrapani Ruel.

MC gave the Vajrapani Ruel as gift to his eldest sister, PY. PY didn’t hide the fact that she hated the gift especially she felt that they could have used simply used the money for something more practical. But to simply amuse MC she decided to carry it anyway. That was several weeks ago.

Just recently, MC called me up to share with me that they totally believe, and by they he refers to his family and even PY, that the Vajrapani Ruel did worked for his sister. According to MC, her sister PY just recently got promoted and bypassed 2 levels up, so the additional pay is very significant. But more than that, PY was informed by the parents of her ex – husband, that they just recently found out that their son has not been supporting his children, and that they would like to help and they in fact has sort of disowned their son.

It has to be noted that PY has maintained good relationship with her parents – in – law despite of her relationship with their son getting really sour. This is because her ex – husband’s parents, according to MC, has always been fair and really nice towards MC.

Myth Buster 19: Friday the 13th

Photo uploaded from Google Images

The title needs no more explanation because ‘Friday the 13th’ says it all, both in Westerners or Easterners knows about the belief the Friday the 13th is such a bad day.

But is there truth to it?

Base on Buddhist, Taoist, and Feng Shui perspective there is no truth to the belief that Friday the 13th is a bad day. But why is it so many people believe that when the 13th day of the Western calendar falls on a Friday it creates a bad luck? Well, there are actually two explanations to it; one was discussed by Dan Brown in his book ‘The Da Vinci Code’. Let’s discuss that first.

The Knights Templar used to be a very powerful secret order. At that time King Philip IV of France feared their power and decided to order some key personnel of the Knights Templar and the slaughtering of the rest of its members. Base on Dan Brown’s book it is said that it was Pope Clement V who instigated this, but a number of historians believes that it was King Philip IV who made the order and that Pope Clement V initially vehemently protested the king’s decision. The slaughtering of the Knights Templar happened on October 13, 1307 and it was on a Friday.

Another story has something to do with the belief about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It is said Jesus’ sacrificed happened between Maundy Thursday to Black Saturday, and that there were 13 people on the Last Supper.

Please note that the belief in ‘Friday the 13th’ started on the 20th century. And it is said that charlatans to make themselves popular used these.

So don’t worry, it is quite safe to go out on a Friday the 13th!

Create Your Own Luck with the Light Offering

These days, candle light offerings are only usually done during special occasions or for daily light offerings.
Photo was uploaded from Google Images.

I totally debated whether to write this post or not, because I can’t seem to find the actual story on the net, however, I thought I will because it is substantiated by similar stories.

It is said, that another passenger was supposed to be on the TransAsia Airways Flight GE235, however 20 minutes before he was about to check – in at the TransAsia Airways check – in counter at the airport, he received a call from one of his biggest clients. Apparently, they talked for quite some time, and since the matter was considered to be quite important he decided to cancel his flight.

The rest is history. Because of that he was saved from the tragic accident that could have cost him his life or at the very least give him a very traumatic experience.

What saved him? Chance? Pure luck? But what is luck anyway? Do we create luck?

If you asked the mom, she would say that it was the Buddhas that saved her son. The mother, being a devout Buddhist would always go to the temple to donate an annual light offering. This is so that images of the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas will have a light offering 24/7 for one whole year. The mom shares that she usually do this on the first day of the Chinese New Year, but on that day, something prompted him to got to the temple and make the annual light offering ahead of the Chinese New Year, and she also decided to dedicate the merits of the annual light offering to his son. When she and her son got to talk about it, they realized it was at the time that she was making the annual light offering that her son also got the call! Unbelievable?LIGHT OFFERING5

The truth is I have been trying to look for this particular news on the net, but I can’t seem to find it. Maybe it wasn’t considered major news, but a Buddhist monk, showed me the news on YouTube. But it’s in Chinese. For readers in Taiwan, you might have heard of this particular story.

I decided to write about it anyway because I totally believe this is true and it can be substantiated by other similar stories.

Light offering is a very common practiced amongst Buddhist. There is the daily light offering, weekly, monthly and annual. It is believed that one gets a lot of good luck or good karmic merits if one offers light to the Buddhas. This is why most Buddhist homes will have an artificial candle on their altars. But if one sincerely offers light to the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas or Deities or Arhats in the temple, it is believed that this merit is doubled because most temples rely on donations.

If you sincerely offer light to Buddhas at the temple, you will get merits that will bring you good life, good health, wealth, and peace of mind.

Nowadays, artificial light are used. You can see the smaller lights lighting the image of the small Buddhas, those are usually for annual light offerings. using artificial light does not make the act less powerful. It's the sincerity that counts.

Nowadays, artificial light are used. You can see the smaller lights lighting the image of the small Buddhas, those are usually for annual light offerings. using artificial light does not make the act less powerful. It’s the sincerity that counts.

As I mentioned I decided to share this story even if I don’t have the necessary links or pictures to prove it because I totally believe that the story is entirely possible but more than that there are other stories that can substantiate it. Let me share one here.

IP, is a 58 years old housewife, mother, and grandmother. She has a good life and practically has everything that she has or want and can never ask for anything anymore. All her children are well educated and are very respectful towards her. In fact, when she never prays to the Buddhas or Bodhisattvas for anything anymore, because she believes to ask for more is an act of extreme selfishness. But everyday she chants the mantras to dedicate its merits to other people and to give thanks for her good life.

However, one day bad luck indirectly happened to her, the doctor told her daughter who was pregnant that she will have to terminate her pregnancy because of some complications. If she doesn’t terminate her pregnancy, she might die. According to her it’s not a choice between mom and baby because the baby will surely die anyway. Her son – in – law decided that she will save his wife and encouraged IP’s daughter to terminate the pregnancy, but IP’s daughter decided that she wants to keep the baby and in the process risk both their lives. The doctor then again reiterated that it’s not a choice; the baby will die no matter what.

IP was leaning towards encouraging her daughter to terminate the pregnancy because she doesn’t want to lose her. However, the Buddhist in her doesn’t believe in mercy killing, but neither does she want to lose her daughter. But everybody else in the family, especially her son – in – law has decided to let her daughter to terminate the pregnancy, and it is only IP (having second thoughts) and her daughter who doesn’t believe in terminating the pregnancy. Please note that the daughter was firm in her decision and IP was more or less torn on what to decide.

Another sample of the light offering.

Another sample of the light offering.

IP decided to consult a Buddhist monk, this particular monk believes that IP and the baby inside her are both repaying a bad karma that they did in their past life. It is because of this decided to offer light to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of various temples, and she dedicated all the merits of this act to her daughter and most especially to her unborn grandchild.

Slowly, the doctors of her daughter became puzzled because they were absolutely sure of their findings, but as time goes by the prognosis becomes better. The baby in the stomach is now a 13 – year – old boy, and IP and her whole family believes that it was the merit of the light offerings that IP did that saved her grandchild and daughter. By the way, one of the doctor who was a born – again Christian before slowly turned into Buddhist and now goes to the same temple where IP and her family goes.

I decided I want to share this story also because we should realize that although I’m a firm believer of the power of amulets or Feng Shui charms like the Vajrapani Ruel and a lot more, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas has provided ways for her to be able to tap into their blessings simply by showing our sincerity. Even without the Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant, the Vajrapani Ruel, the various amulets, one can still create luck for oneself by sincerely offering sincere acts to the Buddhas.

Is The Monk Dead or In Deep Meditative State?

Published Pebrero 5, 2015 by jptan2012

mummified monkWhile a lot of people were surprised with the MUMMIFIED MONK that was found in Mongolia, to a lot of Buddhists this bit of news may not be as surprising. For those who are familiar with Buddhism, Tukdam, or one of the highest form of meditation, is not entirely surprising. In fact, this particular mummified monk, is not the first monk to attained tukdam. With Tukdam, it is entirely possible that the monk remain in a high level of meditation for several years without food or water, most of Tukdam leads to their consciousness or death, which is for the lack of term death, but not all Tukdams leads to this death of consciousness (again for the lack of term).

It is said that only very highly enlightened lamas or monks who have access to sacred tantric energies can achieve this. The monks who makes the Vajrapani Ruel, that has gathered a lot of views since I wrote about the, are amongst them.
