Ordinary Miracles

Published April 24, 2014 by jptan2012

A reader who has since become a good friend gave me a CD produced by Lillian Too. It’s called Praises to Tara. According to my friend, DU, since she started listening and playing the CD her life has slowly improved. I personally don’t find this surprising because I’m familiar with the effects of mantra, even if one just listens to it.Praises to Tara

But there is always something new to learn, and I’m really happy that DU gave me the CD as a gift, not only I find this kind of gift really wonderful but also listening to it I know I’ll also get some blessings. Also, Lillian Too’s voice is quite soothing, but she said something in the CD that made me think that sometimes I may be looking at the effects of Feng Shui, and writing it in a wrong way. The testimonials I write about mostly seem outrageously amazing, and maybe it is sometimes a function of how I write. However, as Lillian Too mentioned on her CD, that continuously practicing the Praises to Tara will not create an outrageous miracle, but instead it will create ordinary miracles that one day you will just realize that whatever you wish for has happened.

I think this is true not only with regards to the practice of Tara but rather it is true to all Buddhist rituals and Feng Shui cures. It is the ordinary miracles that are astounding because it is the one that helps you go through the process and learn along the way. I know that a lot of what I’ve written, especially the ones that I call WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT miracles, seems always so astounding, and there is no denying that some of them are, but the truth is most of them are ordinary miracles. Like LC’s new business and his father winning the elections. The truth is along the way they have to work hard and it took weeks or months before it happened. Also, about the wife finding love, it’s also a process and experiencing ordinary miracles before it became a true miracle! DU and Lillian Too made me realize that it is the ordinary miracles that are truly wonderful and astounding. It is what makes you grow as a person because it’s the process that makes you a better person.

Receive Wonderful Blessings of Wealth, Success, Peace and Protection from Two of the Most Powerful Buddhist Amulets (Part 3): Tap into the Power of The Four Dharmakaya Relic Mantras and Lama Atisha Protection Amulet and Help Feed Buddhist Monk Initiates

Published October 2, 2013 by jptan2012

As I’ve written in the part one of this series of posts called THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET, I mentioned that I’ve been wanting to write about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET, however, especially for THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS one will need a special permission from a Lama and that the writing should include a special higher purpose.

While I cannot go into details, I have passed the test and an oracle done by Lama I cans start writing about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET, provided that I do it for a higher purpose.

My guru Lama wants to help Buddhist monks or novitiates to be able to have sufficient food and eat three meals a day. However, this is a task that proves to be very difficult to accomplish because there are a lot of monastery who lacks food, a lot of them are in India, especially these are Tibetans that went in exile in India. For example, in one monastery alone, like the Sera Je Monastery who has more than 2,500 monks.

My guru Lama thought that it will be nice to request people to donate funds in exchange of a blessed copies of THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET. For full transparency, please note that the said images are available online and can be downloaded for a small amount of donation for various projects. This is possible because it was the Lamas itself who gave the permission to put the images online so that people can download them for a small amount.

However, what was sent to me by my guru Lama is a blessed copy of the THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET. Again, for transparency, the image alone with being bless are already considered to be holy and effective. But, having blessed by a lama will make it more potent, and perhaps, this is just I, holier. Furthermore, my guru Lama also sent me some incense ash, and pink Himalayan salt, which was all, used in a mandala initiation. The instruction for me to do is to mix a little of all these to the THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET to make it more potent.

Although the instruction for me is to make these Buddhist amulets available to the public through my blog, there was no instruction as to how should I do this other than the instruction that I should include a little of the ash and salt.

The idea of raising some funds to further some Buddhist projects by coming up with holy objects and ‘selling’ them at a certain amount are no longer new. There are a lot of similar projects, and the famous Feng Shui Expert Lillian Too also did the same thing before. She made several prayers wheels which were made available to the public and which the proceeds were donated to a Buddhist cause. However, going back to how can I distribute the amulets with the ash and Pink Himalayan Salt without losing them pose a challenge. However, the inspiration again came from Lillian Too, when she had the special Kalachakra pendant with the Kalachakra sand from a Kalachakra initiation lead by the 14th Dalai Lama. With a reader’s help I went to THE BEAD SHOP, bought a small test tube – like small bottle. Realized that it was the almost perfect holder for THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS with the ash and salt. Ideally, I would have wanted it to be put inside a metal amulet holder, but it is far more expensive. So this for now will do.

I decided to put THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS inside a test tube type glass holder that I bought in The Bead Shop, then I included the incense ash, Pink Himalayan Salt inside before sealing it. Thank you to DU, a reader and friend who took this photo.

What is initially available at the moment is THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS, and it would be available for Philippine peso – Php 2,250.00. I know criticism bells are alarming as to why I’m stipulating an amount for the donation.

But let me explain it.

To feed a monk, 3 meals a day for one month would cost US $10.00! Isn’t that surprising?! For Filipinos in the Philippines, approximately Php 425.00 will last for a month!

I thought why not feed 4 or 5 monks, 3 meals a day for a month! To make the computation easier I decided to just put it at a cost of Php 2,000.00. The additional P250.00 is because of the cost of the holder from THE BEAD SHOP. It actually cost Php 245.00 but I decided to just round it off. 100% of the ‘proceeds’ of this project will go to feed Buddhist monks. Receipts will be posted on this site from time to time. The money will be sent every two months, taxes will be bigger if it’s sent as they come in, and it is going to be tedious.

So what is a typical meal of a monk for a day?

Breakfast

1-2 pieces of large bread (10-12 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick)
Choice of Tibetan or Chai TeaBread and Tea

 Lunch

Tofu
Dahl
Rice or Bread
Vegetables
Fruit

Dahl ready to be offered (served) to the Monks.

Dahl ready to be offered (served) to the Monks.

Dinner

Rice and curried vegetables
or noodles and vegetables
or thukpa (Tibetan noodle soup)food

If you think it varies, it only varies from MWF and TThSS but basically weekly it’s the same thing. This shows how lucky most of us are.eat

If you wish to support the Buddhist monk and novitiates without getting the THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET available on this site, you can do so by directly donating through www.fpmt.org/projects/fpmt/seraje . Please note though that this is just one monastery, albeit the biggest one, that we are supporting through amulets available on this blog.

Lastly, if you wish to benefit from THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET without getting from this blog or donating to the food fund or want it to be more affordable, you can simply type THE FOUR DHARMKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and/or LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET and you will see links wherein you can download them. Again in the spirit of full disclosure and transparency, the ones that you can download on the web are effective but are not blessed by a Lama. A blessing adds to the potency of its power and the incense ash and Pink Himalayan salt from the mandala initiation will also add power to the amulet.

Also please note that initially what would be made available is THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS.

You can also read all the posts about this series:

This part was updated Oct. 6, 2013 to include a link of the latest post about this series…

You might want to see a video of a food fund project of the Sera Je Monastery. Please note though that Sera Je is only one of the monastery we’ll be helping through this project.

Wishes Fulfilled with the ‘Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant’ and a Big Business Break with the ‘Wealth and Master Protection Pendant’ – Personal Testimonies of Readers

Published September 18, 2013 by jptan2012

When I first started this blog I never thought I would be part, in a very small way, to a lot of wonderful ‘miraculous’ events in the lives of the people who would become my readers. Furthermore, I never thought the a simple Feng Shui charm that I designed incorporating the things that I’ve learned from my various Feng Shui teachers or masters, and from Buddhist monks and Taoist monks will create so much good things in the lives of a lot of people. What’s ironic is that these pendants were never designed for the public but rather for the use of my family, relatives, and to some extent some of our friends.

I’m talking about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT and the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT. The truth is these pendants were designed because of our (my family and I) frustrations about how we have to change Feng Shui cures or enhancers every years, and how do we have to wear a lot of things around our neck, wrist, fingers and have so much heavy objects around our pockets and bags. Furthermore, these Feng Shui cures and enhancers had to be replaced every year, especially, when they’ve become tarnished.

The first of these pendants is the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT; you can read more about it by clicking here. However, I no longer accept requests for the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, because it’s quite big and cost so much money. That’s the first story I would like to talk about.

At the back of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION are the Chinese character for 'THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN' and the images of the Three Celestial Guardians (provides protection against the 3 Killings), Five Element Pagoda (provides protection from the Five Yellow Star or Flying Star #5) and the Ksitigarbha Fireball (provides protection against the Argumentative Star).

Last, February 2013, a couple, a husband and wife businessmen contacted me. The first thing that I sense about them is that they’re a little ‘secretive’ about their true identity. While they have a house here in Manila, they’re mainly base in Cebu. After several conversations, I agreed to meet them. I suggested that we meet in a mall, but they requested that we meet in a hotel in Makati instead. I agreed.

When I saw them, I had the feeling that I’ve seen them before. The feeling is not that I vaguely know them but rather that I’ve seen them before. At the middle of our conversation, their son joined us, that’s when I realized that I’ve seen them on TV before. Their son is now trying to make a life for himself on a different industry while he still tries to help out in their family business.

They requested for the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, I told them that it is no longer available because of it is very expensive, but they insisted so I agreed to get them the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, one for each one of them. As it turned out, the husband is a devotee of THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN – SUN WUKONG, and is as long been looking for a gold or jade pendant that bares the image of the SUN WUKONG. For those who’ve read my post about THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN you’d know that SUN WUKONG is great for those who need money and who are in business.

'The Great Sage, Equal of Heaven' Monkey King called Sun Wukong is a very powerful wealth and protector god that's both highly revered in Taoism and Buddhism.

‘The Great Sage, Equal of Heaven’ Monkey King called Sun Wukong is a very powerful wealth and protector god that’s both highly revered in Taoism and Buddhism.

They told me that they’re bidding for a construction project in China and needs all the help they can get because they’re not necessarily the biggest company in the country, and neither are they the biggest company participating in the bidding, but that they really want this project. They said that it will be a long and tedious process and expects the result to come out in November or December.

Just about a couple of weeks ago they called me up again to tell me that they won the project. I told them that isn’t it quite early and they said that it is part of the good news that the Chinese end made an early announcement. It’s part of the good news because the agony of waiting is sometimes a little too much for them.

And what’s even greater news is that they got 5 more WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, not for themselves but for them to be able to sell it at half the price of how much they got it. They said, they want more people to experience the blessing of WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, and that it is their way of sharing the blessing.

Incidentally, I would like to stress that I still am not making the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT available to those who are requesting it, because it is really pricey. Almost as expensive as some of Lillian Too’s pendants.

The second good news is about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT. I have posted several personal testimony about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT and the truth is there are so much more about that I haven’t written about and there are several more emails or stories told me by readers who has requested for it.

This time it’s a story of a DJ and part time actress, but because she is somebody who might become famous in the next few months or years I will not use her first name initial and last name initial. I’ll just stick to her first name initial. A has been a radio DJ for quite some time now, and she has appeared in a movie before. However, she felt that her career has been stagnant even before it has taken off, also she has been in a long time relationship and although she and her boyfriend is about to get married, she’s a little bothered that both her parents and that of her boyfriend’s parents doesn’t approve of their relationship.

The back side of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA MANTRA BLESSING PENDANT has the images of the Victory Banner, Lung-Ta or Windhorse, the seed syllable of the Goddess Tara - TAM, and the symbolic script of the MEDICINE BUDDHA MANTRA, WISH FULFILLING MANTRA, and the NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA.

I met A through a mutual friend who has gotten the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT himself. A is a very nice person and although she is part of a life that enjoys a lot of attention, I felt that she’s very humble and nice. I’m writing the story now because a month after getting the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, A got an offer for an endorsement of a food company, and after that she’s about to become the face of an advocacy campaign that’s just about to come out soon.

Furthermore, her mother has taken to liking his boyfriend already and her future mother – in – law has been reaching out to her by inviting her to dinners and lunches. She said it’s all because of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT.

Stories like these give so much joy that something that started as personal thing has become bigger and has benefitted a number of people. But then again the pendants are quite pricey and not everybody can afford it. For those who can’t afford it please remember that reciting the WISH FULFILLING MANTRA and NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA works as well.

Incidentally, I also have some good news about THE FOUR DHARMAKAYA RELIC MANTRAS and the LAMA ATISHA PROTECTION AMULET. Both are powerful Buddhist amulet or charms. I’ve always wanted to write about it but both will need special permission from a Lama before one can I write about them. However, I recently got the permission and will be writing about them tomorrow or in the next few days.

Myth Buster 13: A Child Who Goes Under a Woman’s Skirt Will Have a Bad Luck

Published August 29, 2013 by jptan2012

Often times, especially for Chinese, we hear that if a child, again most specially for a boy, who goes or ‘hide’ under their mom’s skirt will have bad luck.baby under skirt

Feng Shui experts are divided on this. Some Feng Shui consultants like Lillian Too believes that this is true. I’m not sure what is her explanation. As for me, I believe that this is a myth, most probably started when older woman gets uncomfortable when they see their grandsons or granddaughters hiding under their mom’s skirt. Most likely, this is simply uttered out due to the uncomfortable and unpleasant sight of a child hiding under their mom’s skirt. Remember, back in those days, Chinese are pretty conservative.

Get Wealth Abundance and Financial Security Through THE WEALTH GRANTING TARA!!!

Published December 3, 2012 by jptan2012

One of the posts that I’ve ever written here in this blog that has a lot of traffic is about THE GODDESS TARA. Today, allow me to introduce to you another powerful manifestation of the GODDESS TARA, which is THE WEALTH GRANTING TARA!

If you wish to know more about GODDESS TARA, do read my earlier post entitled – GODDESS TARA, THE MOTHER OF SWIFT LIBERATION.

As the name implies, WEALTH GRANTING TARA is a manifestation of GODDESS TARA that helps grants material needs. Like the root manifestation of GODDESS TARA, WEALTH GRANTING TARA is also green in color. The difference is that the WEALTH GRANTING TARA has four (4) arms and hands. Another manifestation of the WEALTH GRANTING TARA is that of an eight (8) arms and hands, however, for this posts let’s focus on the four-armed and hand manifestation.

She is usually depicted as a TARA that is seated on a lotus, with fine adornments. She is usually seen as wearing a bejeweled headdress, bejeweled necklace, bracelets, and anklets.

In her hands are a mala (which signifies that whoever chants her mantra will be blessed), an Uptula flower (which signifies her power), a holy text (which signifies that she’ll grant material and wealth blessing to those who follow Buddhism and that she grants wisdom for those who are in need of it), and her other right hand shows the wish granting mudra (which signifies her power to grant wishes and blessings).

The best way to tap into the power and blessing of WEALTH GRANTING TARA is for us to chant her mantra. For those who are yet familiar about mantras please read my post entitled – MANTRA: THE INSTRUMENT TO TAP THE POWER OF SYMBOLIC SOUND, SCRIPT, AND THOUGHT.

WEALTH GRANTING TARA is not a very popular but very powerful manifestaion of GODDESS TARA. There are very few images of the WEALTH GRANTING TARA in the market or on the net. So far, one of the best rendition is that of Lillian Too's WEALTH GRANTING TARA, which is available in WOFS or World of Feng Shui.

Chant her mantra 108 times a day for you to continuously get her blessings, especially when you are in n need of financial assistance.

A Hermit and A Monk: A Lesson on Reciting Your Mantra

Published March 20, 2012 by jptan2012

Since I started writing about Mantras, I’ve received countless emails and sometimes phone calls asking me about the right intonation of a mantra. I know for people who have just been recently introduced to the power of Mantras, it may be a little daunting because some of the Mantras can be mouthful like the Medicine Buddha Mantra – TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA – or the Prajnaparamita Mantra – TADYATHA OM GATE GATE PARAGATE PARASAMGATE BODHI SOHA. The truth there are other mantras, such as the Cundi Avalokitesvara Mantra – NAMO SAKTANAM SAMYAKSAM BUDDHA KOTINAM TADYATHA OM CALE CULE CUNDI SOHA (I’ll write about Cundi Avalokitesvara soon), that are way longer than the mantras that I’ve talked about on this blog.

I realize that this might be causing a little worry to some of you thinking that your wish might not happen because you are not pronouncing it properly. Also, because you might be agonizing too much on the proper pronunciation that you tend to forget to concentrate on the intent why you’re saying the mantra.

‘A Hermit and A Monk’ is a story that was shared by Lama Zopa Rinpoche, one of the most revered monks of high status.

Lama Zopa Rincpoche is considered as the one strongly propagates Buddhism to people who otherwise wouldn’t have heard of Buddhism. His work with Lillian Too also helped bridge the gap between Buddhism and Feng Shui, which was largely considered to be a Taoist practice. He is also task by the Dalai Lama to lead the Maitreya Project. A very ambitious project that hopes to build the largest Maitreya Buddha – the Future Buddha, in the world.

Lama Zopa Rinpoche first shared this story with the members of the ‘Foundation for the Preservation of Mahayana Tradition’, it was since then shared with other groups like the Amitabha Buddhist Center (a sub-center of FPMT), and he also shared this with Lillian Too.

A HERMIT AND A MONK…

A monk visited a hermit, who lived alone on an island doing retreat. The hermit had given himself three years to complete chanting ten million of the powerful six-syllable mantra of the Compassionate Buddha. The hermit had been told that attaining this level of practice would awaken his yogic powers. The mantra was “OM MANI PADME HUM”.

The monk listened as the hermit did his mantra and, with the best intention in the world, leaned over to him and whispered:

“I think you have got the pronunciation wrong. This mantra should be chanted this way…” and he proceeded to demonstrate. The hermit listened attentively and then watched as the monk walked back to his boat to leave the island.

Ten minutes later when the boat was halfway across the river the monk heard his name being called, and looking around, he spied the hermit and heard him call:

“Listen to this, have I got it right now?” and the hermit proceeded to chant the same mantra but with the monk’s intonation. Astounded, the monk turned around and saw the hermit walking on the water next to his boat. In that instant he realized that the hermit’s faith and sincerity had given his mantra recitation far more power than he had realized.

As you will see, the story state that what counts more is the faith and sincerity in reciting the mantra. This doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t strive hard to do our best to recite them properly, but let’s not agonize about it. If you have faith and sincerity then it’s simply impossible for it not to work!

Receive Showers of Blessings by Tapping Two of the Most Powerful Mantras!

Published February 18, 2012 by jptan2012

A little over a month ago, I wrote about the power of mantras in a post entitled MANTRA: THE INSTRUMENT TO TAP THE POWER OF SYMBOLIC SCRIPT, SOUND, AND THOUGHT. In that particular post I discussed what is mantra and how it works.

Today, I would like to share with you on how you can receive showers of blessings by tapping two of the most powerful mantras. I’ve mentioned about these mantras in that particular post but I want to talk about it again and share with you some stories about people who had benefitted from these mantras.

The symbolic Script of the Wish Fulfilling Mantra

The mantra I’m talking about are the WISH-GRANTING WHEEL MANTRA more popularly known as the WISH FULFILLING MANTRA – OM PADMO USHNISHA VIMALE HUM PHAT and the NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA – OM HANU PHASHA (sometimes spelled as PASHA) BHARA HE YE SO HA.

Symbolic Script of the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra – OM HANU PASHA BHARA HE YE SOHA

The Wish Fulfilling Mantra and the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra are two of the most powerful mantras given to us by the Buddhas themselves. They are equally as powerful as the Mantra of the Buddha of Compassion, Kuan Yin or Avalokitesvara – OM MANI PADME HUM, or the Mantra of the Medicine Buddha – TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA.

Let me discuss first the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra OM HANU PASHA BHARA HE YE SOHA. Sometimes, you’ll find that some of the things that we long for are always ‘within reach’ but some thing will always happen that will prevent us from getting it. For example, wealth loss through a business project gone bad, or career advancement with higher pay that went to somebody else, or wealth that was swindled away from us, etc. The truth is sometimes this is cause by our negative karma who may be blocking some of the positive chi. Reciting the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra will help unblock these blockages and make us more open to receiving luck or blessings.

A friend’s father has been working really hard for the biggest project of his career life. By closing the said deal would be akin to winning the lottery and after about a year, he did close the deal and a few more months after he got the money, but after about 2 weeks he had a stroke! The prognosis of the doctor is really bad and they were told that his father would not be able to walk or move on his own again. Clearly, he won’t be able to enjoy the fruits of his hard work.

My friend called me to ask me whether his father’s BAZI or Paht Chee analysis will be able to shed some light as to why this happened. I worked on his father’s BAZI and saw that he is in a particular stage of his life wherein he would have enjoyed financial wealth, however, it also indicated that he is at a critical stage of his life. The BAZI as I read it didn’t indicate death, neither did it indicate health problem; all I can discern with the analysis is that he is at this critical stage. Naturally, because of what he is going through, I would have to just assume that the ‘critical’ stage refers to his medical condition. This means also that it could only be because of a strong karmic influence. Whether past life or not I’m not sure.

I explained this to my friend and he requested whether Feng Shui could do anything to help the condition of his father. I told him to use some Feng Shui cures but told him that since this may be karmic, it may be beyond ‘traditional’ Feng Shui, this should be inner or spiritual Feng Shui. His family is Catholic but out of desperation they were willing to try Spiritual Feng Shui.

Told him to recite for his father one full mala of the MEDICINE BUDDHA MANTRA. He should do it aloud so his father can hear him and he should do this five times a day. But more than, I explained, since there is a strong indication that whatever happened to his father is karmic he should also recite the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra five times a day. Preferably, he should do this after he has finished reciting the Medicine Buddha Mantra and like the Medicine Buddha Mantra he should recite the mantra loud enough for his father to hear him.

After about 3 weeks of reciting the Medicine Buddha Mantra and the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra his father started recovering from his stroke. A few more weeks after he was already strong enough to recite the mantras on his own.

At present, his father is again almost back to his old self and in fact has been working again. To this day he continues to recite both mantras and although he didn’t convert to Buddhism he has invited the image of the Medicine Buddha into his home.

The reason that it was also important for him to recite the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra is because obviously his bad karma prevented him from enjoying a wealth luck that is clearly present as indicated by his BAZI analysis. While reciting the Medicine Buddha Mantra will definitely aid him on his recovery, some of the Medicine Buddha’s blessing earned by the merit of the symbolic sound created by reciting his mantra, it may not be as quick because his own negative karma may block these blessings as it has blocked him from enjoying the wealth luck that he received.

The other mantra mentioned earlier is the Wish-Granting Wheel Mantra or, as I said, more popularly called as the Wish Fulfilling Mantra.

The Wish Fulfilling Mantra is a very powerful mantra, which grants us the blessing of receiving the things that we wish for. In fact, the mantra itself is so powerful that simply knowing it is already a blessing.

A Singaporean friend whose cousin greatly benefitted from the Wish Fulfilling Mantra shared this story that I’m about to share with you. For the purpose of this blog, lets just call her M. M is a 28 years old, Singaporean Chinese, who works as a junior marketing officer of an international company in Singapore. She has been with her company for barely a year when their mother company in London had an opening for a higher position with international scope and naturally with a higher pay. M has always dreamed of migrating to US or UK, that’s precisely why she joined this particular company. However, she also knows that she is still considered as ‘neophyte’ in the said company, she’s just a Junior Marketing Officer, and Sing told her cousin that there’s a Senior Marketing Officer, then a Junior Marketing Manager, then a Senior Marketing Manager, then the Sales and Marketing Director. Apparently, the search for the new position in London is not just in Singapore but also in other countries where the company is present, and they are present in all South East Asian countries, the Asia Pacific region, and also in America, as well as some parts of Europe! The competition is tough! Furthermore, junior and senior marketing officers are not even considered for the position.

M felt and knew that she doesn’t stand a chance and shared this with her mom who in turned shared this with a Tibetan Buddhist monk. The Tibetan Buddhist monk told M’s mom to let M try reciting the Wish Fulfilling Mantra. The instruction is for M to recite 7 full mala of the mantra for 3 days. On the fourth day she can try and send her application with her letter of intent. After which she is to recite 3 full mala for the mantra everyday. M felt that there’s nothing to lose in trying so she heeded the monk’s advice.

To make the long story short M is now in London not for the position that was vacated but when they saw her application they saw another position that fits her. They weren’t really just looking for a ‘local’ to fill in the position but somehow they were impressed with M’s resume that the company for the first time in its history hired an Asian for the said position!

Isn’t that wonderful? From a simple wish with zero possibility to a wish fulfilled!

There are other stories that was shared to me or that I personally experienced about these 2 powerful mantras, but I suggest that the best testimonial would be your own experience.

How does one tap into the blessings of these 2 powerful mantras? Why do they usually go together?

The Wish Fulfilling Mantra always goes with the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra because their effects may be complimentary. As shared with you earlier regarding my friend’s father, the Medicine Buddha mantra might not be as effective if his own negative karma is blocking the said blessing, in the same manner, while tapping into the power of the Wish Fulfilling Mantra it is better to make sure that we continuously cleanse ourselves by the negative karma that we accumulate by also tapping into the blessing of the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra and we do this by reciting the mantra.

I usually say 1 full mala of the Wish Fulfilling Mantra followed by another full mala of the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra once a week. If I have a specific wish I recite them more than once a week.

Furthermore, you can also say the Wish Fulfilling Mantra 7 times and blow on some incense. Once the incense is lighted, its smoke will bring blessing to other beings ‘touched’ by the smoke of the incense. Say the Wish Fulfilling Mantra 7 times and blow on your clothes it blesses you.

If you put the symbolic script of the Wish Fulfilling Mantra and the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra above doorways or your door will bless and cleanse all the people who passes underneath them. That’s how powerful these two mantras are.

According to Lama Zopa Rinpoche, who perhaps the most famous Tibetan Buddhist monk next to the His Holiness The Dalai Lama and His Holiness the Karmapa, simply seeing the symbolic script of these 2 mantras will greatly benefit us even if you’re not conscious of it.  To know more about symbolic scripts you can read my previous post called MANTRA: THE INSTRUMENT TO TAP THE POWER OF SYMBOLIC SCRIPT, SOUND, AND THOUGHT.

Also according to Lama Zopa Rinpoche wearing the symbolic script of the WISH FULFILLING MANTRA and NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA as a sacred jewelry will enable us to continuously tap into the blessings of the said mantras. This is precisely why I’ve decided and made sure that both mantras are included in the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT.

I’ve just written about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT yesterday and I’ve already received 7 requests from people from 4 countries who want to get the pendant for themselves. I’ve made this pendant more affordable by making it smaller. Its diameter is only about ¾ of an inch. Unfortunately, I’m not taking any ‘special orders’ right now because I’m still waiting for the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT of my family, relatives, and friends. Please understand that selling Feng Shui charms such as the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT and the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT are only incidental and is not a means of living. Nevertheless, please feel free to email me if you’re interested to get the pendant, no promises, but I’ll try to request my jeweler to make one for you after all the other orders has been served. You can also just copy the design and have your jeweler make one for you.

If you want you can also get the Mantra Ring design by Lillian Too. It has the Wish Fulfilling Mantra and the Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra, but it does not have the Medicine Buddha Mantra, Seed Syllable of Green Tara – Tam (a short version of the mantra OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA), image of Kuan Kong, Medicine Buddha, and Yellow Dzambhala. However, you can get them separately.

NOTE: I’m now able to serve request of readers to avail of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT. You can also read a reader’s personal testimony about the pendant by clicking here. She had her wish fulfilled right after she wore the pendant.

If you wish to know more about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, you can read the following posts:

Why Feng Shui Don’t Always Work…

Published February 3, 2012 by jptan2012

I really haven’t seen a person who has tried Feng Shui who can vehemently claim that Feng Shui doesn’t work. At the very least, they may be doubtful.

Aside from my personal experience and that of my relatives and friends with Feng Shui, one very strong proof that Feng Shui really works is the fact that it has existed for so long. In fact, Mao Tse Tung banned Feng Shui during his reign because he was afraid that his constituents, with the help of Feng Shui, might not succumb to his ruling. But even with the banning of Feng Shui, people still consulted Feng Shui and it has continued to flourish albeit it was done ‘underground’.

If you look at history, China’s civilization is one continuous story of success and power. Never, did China become ‘third world’. The only time it can be considered ‘down’ was during the Japanese occupation of the country, but even then it was never really under total Japanese leadership and let’s face it Japan also practices Feng Shui.

A friend once expressed admiration for China, she noted that after the pyramids, what did really make the Egyptian civilization stand out? Persian civilization is technically dead. In fact, among the old civilizations, China is the only who until this day has continue to flourish. They continue to have something new to be proud off. They have always been one of the leading nations at any given time. I think that can be attributed to Feng Shui.

Another example is Singapore. They’re from a third world to first world country. It is no secret that the leaders of Singapore practices Feng Shui, and when they started making a lot of Feng Shui changes in the country that their economy started to boom. Why else would they have a ‘hidden’ dragon guard their Merlion. Also, why would they have there one dollar made into a design of a Pa Kua and their vehicle tax stickers?

All the examples I’ve given should prove that Feng Shui works, at the very least, it should make you think. However, I will also be the very first person to tell you why there are times that Feng Shui doesn’t seem to work.

In my observation, there are several factors why would it seem that there are times that Feng Shui doesn’t work.

First, EXPECTING SOME MAGIC. Feng Shui is not magic, although sometimes it may deliver an instant result, most of the time one will start to feel some change with a month and when it does it’s not like a miracle it works slowly. I believe the it’s energy needs to accumulate before it works. Just like an antibiotic, you’ll start to feel its effect on your body on the 4th or 5th day. You need to relax and let Feng Shui take its course, don’t rush it.

BECOMING TOO SUPERSTITIOUS. Feng Shui is not superstition, it involves logic and common sense that should be coupled with Feng Shui knowledge. It’s not about having bad luck by taking a bath on a Friday the 13th.

CONSULTING TOO MANY EXPERTS. If you don’t have basic knowledge of Feng Shui, consulting too many experts can create more problems and it might overwhelm you with too many information and thus make you do a Feng Shui blunder. The truth is some Feng Shui experts may have varying recommendations because of the different ‘school of thought’ that they follow. There are several ‘school of thought’ of Feng Shui, and each one may vary a little with the other. Allow me to humbly and with respect site mention Lillian Too and Joey Yap, 2 of the most commercially famous Feng Shui experts in Malaysia. They might agree on the locations of the Flying Stars but they seldom agree on the best way to address the Flying Stars, because they come from two different school of thought. When I studied Feng Shui, I made sure that I studied the different school of thought, and, so far, it has proven to be beneficial. So when choosing an expert, choose one or two, check his approach, study what he or she says, and listen to him/her. Compare notes only on the basic afflictions but do not go into details because there’s bound to be some minor difference.

If consulting too many experts may cause some problems, CONSULTING A HIGH PROFILE ‘EXPERT’ is a bigger problem. I don’t mean to bad mouth anybody and I don’t mean that high profile experts are fake, but there are times that we become to enthralled with people who seem to be very high profile, people who wear a lot of jewelries, and people who seem to ‘uberly’ charming. You need to look beyond the appearance, some of the best Feng Shui experts I’ve met are not famous, except Lillian Too and Joey Yap, they keep a low profile. However, even Lillian Too and Joey Yap tend to give general ‘predictions’, understandably, this is due to desire to reach more audience. Going back to experts who are so ‘flamboyant’, I know of a famous Feng Shui ‘expert’ who caters to showbiz celebrities. Her marketing tactic is really dispensing off a lot of Feng Shui charms for free to the celebrities and she then uses this celebrities as her ‘endorser’. The sad part is that she sells fake stones as Feng Shui charms. Her Feng Shui beads are usually made of plastic, which is really a ‘no-no’ for Feng Shui. Worst, she sells them at a price higher than the real crystals or Feng Shui beads. In fact, just by putting a name of a famous celebrity on her Feng Shui charm she gets to sell them at around Php 10,000.00 while the actual price is only around Php 800.00. I will not question her marketing tactic but I do question her practice of selling fake charms, this might give the person a false sense of security. There are a number of times also when I was consulted by a friend or friends of friends who used to consult her and they’ll tell me that Feng Shui seem not work. The worst I’ve encountered so far is when a company in Laguna consulted her, she made some recommendations, which they followed. Four weeks after 3 of their employees died of heart attack in a span of 2 months. The said company is owned by a friend’s relative, when I went to see their office, I immediately saw the mistake. They upon the advice of Feng Shui ‘expert’ made a really bad ‘poison arrow’ on the health sector of the office. I immediately requested them to vacate that sector and asked them to re-renovate. Unfortunately, the ‘expert’ they consulted is a Feng Shui ‘expert’ who really didn’t have any Feng Shui training but with great marketing skills. So, you see, its important that you be careful as to who you consult. Having said that there are High Profile Feng Shui Experts who are really experts. Net, get to know the expert.

Another reason why Feng Shui fails to work is properly is because you made yourself into a HUMAN COMPASS. Don’t be lazy and make estimation where South or East or West is. Use a compass. It need not be the very expensive Feng Shui any functional and decent compass will do. You need to accurately know where EAST, WEST, NORTH, SOUTH, SOUTHEAST, SOUTHWEST, NORTHEAST, NORTHWEST is. Don’t guess or estimate! A little difference makes a lot of difference.

STRIVING FOR PERFECTION is another Feng Shui no-no. There is no such thing as perfect Feng Shui, that only exists in an ideal world and not in a real world. Try your best to address all concerns but don’t try to be perfect it, sometimes it creates more problems.

DOING A SHORT CUT is also one reason why Feng Shui may seem not to work. I once told a friend to make sure to clean and get a new red ribbon to energize a Feng Shui cure on a afflicted sector. Several months after his problem still exists so I visited his place again. The cure seems to be on the right place, and there is the red ribbon to re-energize the Feng Shui cure. However, during the course of our conversation it turned out that he has used a recycled ribbon and didn’t ‘cleanse’ the Feng Shui cure according to my recommendations. He admitted that he made a short cut and that the ribbon that he used is recycled from a gift. I then instructed to follow the original instructions and don’t make any short cut. He did, and results started to happen.

CLUTTER is one major factor why Feng Shui cures doesn’t work. Feng Shui is not just about the Feng Shui cures or enhancers you put around your house, its about the flow of energy, and too much clutter creates a ‘blockage’ of this energy. So always declutter.

BEING TOO NEGATIVE is another reason why Feng Shui may seem not to work. Negative here can mean that you are putting too much effort too prove that Feng Shui doesn’t work. You don’t have to believe in Feng Shui for it to work, but putting in too much negative thought will also hinder the positive energy that is created by Feng Shui.

Take note of these factors and let Feng Shui work for you.

Mantra: The Instrument to Tap the Power of Symbolic Sound, Script, and Thought

Published January 14, 2012 by jptan2012

In my previous posts, I made mention of wearing Mantra pendants to counter some negative chi or energy. I got some emails from readers inquiring as to what mantra really is and how does a mantra work.

The truth is the question is not easily answered because nobody really knows as to where mantras really originated. Furthermore, it will really take a whole ‘curriculum’ for us to fully understand what a mantra is and another curriculum to understand how they work. Having said that though, its worth noting that the most pervading belief of Buddhist is that mantras were directly transmitted by the Buddhas and/or the Bodhisattvas to mankind.

Going back to the question. Mantras are sacred sound and instrument of thoughts transmitted by Buddha and Bodhisattvas to us. It’s symbolic script has the extended power of the words of the Buddha and Bodhisattva’s themselves, and chanting these mantras give us the ‘power’ to manifest our wants and needs. Furthermore both the symbolic script and the sound produced by reciting the mantras also serves as protection and cleanser of our negative karma.

A mantra is so powerful that by simply seeing its symbolic script, whether you’re aware of it or not, gives you some blessing from the Buddhas or the Bodhisattvas. Hearing mantras chanted also gives you blessings even if you’re not seeking it and/or even if you don’t believe in it.

A mantra has the power to enhance positive energy and karma. But more important than that it neutralizes negative energy and karma. It has the power to remove problems, crisis, and sufferings. It has the power to heal the sick whether the illness is physical, psychological, emotional, or spiritual. Furthermore, personally for me, mantras gives a calming effect. Reciting mantras while having its symbolic script around you or on your body awakens your spiritual consciousness, you become more positive and you attract more positive energy which may translate to different things like peacefulness, wealth (both material and spiritual, health, etc. You also become more positive and you project a more positive radiance.

By reciting mantras you attract what you need, desire, and want. If you recite mantras for others you become an instrument of blessings.

By writing mantras you subconsciously attuned yourself to the symbolic script and your body starts to absorb the positive vibrations emitted by the symbolic script.

By wearing symbolic script of mantras or surrounding yourself with the symbolic script of mantras you ‘activate’ a continuous repetition of your chants or recitations. Furthermore, like writing them you subconsciously attuned yourself to the symbolic script and your body also starts to absorb the positive vibrations or energy emitted by the symbolic script. Add to that is that you are constantly blessed by the symbolic script. This is further enhanced when the mantra is on a natural precious stones or gems, and/or in precious metals like gold, titanium, platinum and silver.

The most common way of tapping to the powers of mantras is thru its recitation or chanting. To the Hindus the chanting is more important and they really frown upon wrong pronunciation. For the Chinese, to which symbolism plays a very important of their culture, writing and surrounding oneself of the symbolic script is more important. But for the Tibetans, equal importance is placed upon the writing and surrounding of symbolic script and of chanting the mantras. But, unlike the Hindus, they are more ‘forgiving’ with the pronunciations, however, it should not be an excuse for us to not strive for us to get the proper pronunciation.

All mantras, or sacred mantra as Lillian Too would call them to differentiate the ordinary ‘mantra’ made by people, have great powers to neutralize negative karma, to bestow blessings, and protect individual who comes across them. However, there are mantras that may be more specific.

One of the most common mantra is the mantra of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Kuan Yin as he/she is known by the Chinese, and Avalokitesvara in Tibetan. The mantra is OM MANI PADME HUM (HUM is pronounced as HUNG with a long U sound). The mantra is specially revered by the Dalai Lama because he is a direct incarnation of the Bodhisattva. The mantra of Kuan Yin is so powerful that it has the power to bring immediate blessing.

Symbolic Script of the Mantra - OM MANI PADME HUM. This is considered as the 'national' mantra of Tibetans. All the Dalai Lamas has a special affinity with this mantra because they are believed to be the direct incarnation of the 'energy' of the Bodhisattva of Compasion Avalokitesvara or Kuan Yin.

I personally chant 42 different mantras in a week. However, the most dear to me are…

The mantra of Amitabha Buddha which is OM AMI DEWA HRIH. This is a great protection and general blessing mantra.

Symbolic Script of the Mantra - OM AMI DEWA HRIH. This is a very powerful protection and general blessing mantra. Just like OM MANI PADME HUM, everybody should chant it everyday.

The mantra of Yellow Dzambhala which is OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE SOHA. This is a great wealth generating mantra.

Symbolic Script of the Mantra - OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE SOHA with its seed syllable. Some people believe that among all the Dzambhala's (Jambala, Dzambala, Zambala), the Yellow Dzambhala is the most powerful one.

The mantra of the White Dzambhala which is OM PADMO KRODA ARYA DZAMBHALA HRIH DAYA HUM PHAT. Another wealth generating mantra.

The Mantra of Goddess Tara which is OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA. A powerful mantra to be used when you need swift ‘response’ or results.

Symbolic Script of the Mantra - OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA. This is the mantra of Goddess Tara or Green Tara who is also known as the Swift Liberator.

The Wish Fulfilling Mantra which is OM PADMO USHNISHA VIMALE HUM PHAT. A very powerful mantra that fulfills ones’ good wishes.

The Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra which is OM HANU PHASHA BHARA HEYE SOHA.  A mantra that helps cleanse negative karma from previous lives and/or grave negative karma accumulated.

The Protection, Environment Purifying and Immediate Negative Karma Cleaning Mantra which is OM AH HUM. This mantra gives short term immediate protection to those who chant it, also it has the power to purify the environment from negative chi or energy. It also cleanses all the immediate or recent light negative karma created through our speech, thought, and action.

Symbolic Script of the Mantra OM AH HUM.

The Medicine Buddha Mantra which is TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE (pronounced as BHE-KAND-ZAY) BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA.

Symbolic Script of the Mantra - TADYATHA OM BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE MAHA BHEKANDZYE BHEKANDZYE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA. At the middle is its seed syllable.

Wearing the symbolic script of any of these mantras will bring great blessings. However, there goes again the sad truth that most ‘producers’ of sacred script mantra jewelry will only make one mantra per piece of jewelry. Honestly, I don’t understand why can’t they make several mantra in one piece, since size doesn’t really matter. It need not be totally be visible to the naked eye as long as the sacred script is there and it is written in a correct way.

To address this concern I decided to design my own Buddha and Mantra jewelry. For now I’m calling this the Full Mantra Pendant or Medallion. Unfortunately, I’m unable to share a picture right now because it it still being ‘produce’ by my jeweler, and the only file photo of my FULL MANTRA PENDANT is a tiff file. WordPress doesn’t accept tiff file.

But just the same I would like to share with you what’s in the FULL MANTRA PENDANT.

At the front are the images of the Medicine Buddha (a powerful healing and provider revered both in Tibetan, Chinese, and Indian Buddhism), Kuan Kong or Guan Gong (a protector and wealth god revered in Chinese Buddhism), and Yellow Dzambhala ( a powerful wealth god revered in Tibetan and Indian Buddhism).

Also at the front are the Kalachakra symbol and the symbolic script of the mantra OM AH HUM.

The Kalachakra symbol is one of the most powerful protection symbol in Buddhism. It actually consists of ten syllable mantra, with it symbolic script condensed into one. The mantra itself is HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. However, the mantra of the Kalachakra is never chanted without the mantra OM AH HUM. Making the complete mantra of Kalachakra - OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. This is the reason why I decided to put the symbolic script of the mantra OM AH HUM on top of the Kalachakra symbol. As mentioned this is a very powerful protection symbol and can be likened to the Scapular of the Catholics. In fact, you'll seldom see a Tibetan Monk without wearing the symbol of the Kalachakra somewhere on their body. It may be hidden but most likely they have it somewhere on their body. But you'll never see them have the symbolic scripts tattooed because it is considered extremely bad luck to have a mantra tattooed on your body.

At the back of the Full Mantra Pendant are the Medicine Buddha mantra, Yellow Dzambhala Mantra, Wish Fulfilling Mantra, Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra, and the seed syllable of Goddess Tara. Every mantra has a seed syllable and in instances wherein you can’t put the whole mantra the seed syllable works as well.

Also at the back are the Victory Banner and Windhorse or Lung-Ta. The Victory Banner is a powerful Buddhist symbol that connotes success in all undertakings. The Lung-Ta or Windhorse is a symbol of well-being and good fortune. You’ll see the Lung-Ta carrying a ‘Wish Fulfilling Jewel of Enlightenment’ which brings success through wisdom and knowledge thus this a very good symbol for those who wants advancement in their career, professional, or business life. This is also a very good symbol to be use who wants to be famous through the arts.

The Victory Banner

Windhorse or Lung-Ta with the 'Wish Fulfilling Jewel of Enlightenment' on its back.

I’ll definitely share with you the picture of the Full Mantra Pendant once I get and approve the final rendering of the pendant.

THE FOLLOWING WAS ADDED EXACTLY 35 DAYS AFTER THIS PARTICULAR POST WAS WRITTEN:

I’ve just recently been able to get the first FULL MANTRA PENDANT mentioned on this particular post. I’ve changed its name to the more appropriate WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT. I know it’s a mouthful but it hopes to communicate what the pendant is really all about. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to include the Yellow Dzambhala Mantra, it simply doesn’t have enough space. If you want to know more about the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT please read the blog post about it by clicking here.

At the back of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION is the title GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN in Chinese characters, followed by the 3 Celestial Guardians, and then at the bottom are the Five Element Pagoda and Ksitigarbha Fireball. I'm also currently looking for a jeweler who can carve the images and symbols of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT on a jade, that is because Chinese loves jade and a lot of people have been inquiring about a JADE WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT.

In choosing a Kuan Kong look for something that has a fierce face. Kuan Kong or Guan Gong is a famous wealth and protector god.

This is a Tibetan Mantra pendant. I'm not in the process of having my jeweler craft the Mantra pendant that I personally designed. It has the mantra of the THE MEDICINE BUDDHA, YELLOW DZAMBHALA (JAMBALA OR DZAMBALA) MANTRA, THE WISH-FULFILLING MANTRA, THE NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA, THE SEED SYLLABLE OF GREEN TARA, and OM AH HUM.
