Sustaining Wealth Luck with Red and Gold

Published March 12, 2012 by jptan2012

In my previous posts, I talked about ways to attract wealth or ways to activate your wealth luck.

Today, allow me to share with you an effective Feng Shui tool to help sustain your wealth luck. If you are currently experiencing wealth blessings, whether it’s just enough to tide you over, or whether it’s a shower of blessings that’s really more than what you really need, it will be totally good to prepare for the time when you’d be afflicted with one of the bad Flying Star. It will also be good to ensure that you ‘lock’ this wealth luck or wealth blessing that you don’t lose them.

Doing this is quite simple. All you need to remember are two vey common words. They are RED and GOLD. Red and Gold is a powerful Feng Shui combination, they create so much good Feng Shui energy that it helps ensures that you are able to lock or sustain your wealth luck.

There are several ways of doing this. One way is simple having a gold pendant with a red stone. The two are a powerful combination to help ensure that your wealth luck is going to be continuous. I recently ensure that my WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT has a red stone. This will help ensure that my wealth luck is locked or will be sustained.

Another way of doing this is getting 3 Feng Shui coins and ties them with a red string and putting it on everything that may carry your money or represent your wealth. You can put this on your cash box, jewelry box, checkbook, bankbook; you can even put this on your purse, bag, or wallet. Just make sure the Feng Shui coins, which is really a replica of the Chinese antique coins, has bronze or gold finishing.

You can also get a Feng Shui lock coin.

This is an old version of a Feng Shui lock coin.

A Feng Shui lock coin is basically a Feng Shui tool designed as old lock engraved with powerful words and symbols. The lock coin should be made of metal, and make sure you tie it with a red string to infuse it with more yang energy.

This is the new version of the lock coin. It doesn't matter which of the two you get, both are effective.

What’s nice is that regardless of your Basket of Elements as indicated by your Bazi, this is something that will surely work for you, even if you have a high metal or high fire rating.

How do they work? Gold, which is a good wealth luck activator is further infused by the power of the color red. The red regardless whether it’s a thread or a semi-precious stone acts like a power source. Having them both will ensure that your wealth luck is sustained and locked.

However, if what you need is activating your wealth luck or enhancing your wealth luck, do read the following posts by clicking on the title – (1) FENG SHUI TIPS TO ENHANCE YOUR WEALTH LUCK; (2) INCREASING YOUR WEALTH BY PAYING HOMAGE TO YELLOW DZAMBHALA; (3) AN UNKNOWN BUT POWERFUL WEALTH DEITY CALLED – LIU HAI; (4) THE WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT; (5) AMMONITE – A NATURAL AMULET FOR WEALTH LUCK; (6) PIYAO – A CELESTIAL BEING THAT BESTOWS WEALTH AND PROTECTION; (7) A MANTRA FOR WEALTH AND HARMONY.

Fulfill Your Wishes and Get Blessings from the Buddhas with the ‘Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant’.

Published February 17, 2012 by jptan2012

A few weeks ago I talked about a new pendant that I designed. At that time I called it the Full Mantra Pendant. After several weeks of back and forth with my jeweler that includes some revisions in the design, I finally got the first WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT.

The Front Side of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA'S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT

Unlike the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT which is designed primarily as protection from bad luck and the bad annual flying star, the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT is more of a luck enhancer.

Front side of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT.

Back side of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT.

The difference is that the first is more of a ‘cure’ and the wealth aspect is incidental because of Sun Wukong, the second pendant is more of a enhancer that is designed to tap into the blessings of the various Buddhas and Buddhist symbol. Furthermore, I’m really happy, because of the lesson learned from the first pendant, I had the foresight to make it smaller thus it is  a lot more affordable than my first pendant.

On the front you’ll see the …

Unfortunately, the photo that I took is not really clear. The front of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA'S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT has the images of the Medicine Buddha, Kuan Kong, Yellow Dzambhala, Kalachakra Symbol, and the Symbolic Script OM AH HUM.

IMAGE OF MEDICINE BUDDHA, which showers us with the blessing of health luck. Furthermore, the Medicine Buddha is also a Buddha that bestows harmony. Read my post about the Medicine Buddha by clicking here.

IMAGE OF KWAN KONG (also called or spelled as Kwan Kong, Guan Gong, Kwan Ti, Guan Ti, Kwan Yu, Guan Yu), a Bodhisattva that bestows mentor’s luck to provide with people that will help us to pursue our goals. Kwan Kong also is bestows business luck. Furthermore, Kwan Kong is also a very powerful protection deity. You can read more about Kuan Kong by clicking here.

IMAGE OF YELLOW DZAMBHALA, a powerful Buddhist wealth deity that emanated from the Buddha of Compassion. Having his image constantly around us will bestow upon us wonderful wealth blessing. It also helps if you can recite his mantra – OM DZAMBHALA DZALIN DRAYE SOHA. To know more about Yellow Dzambhala you can read my post entitled INCREASE YOUR WEALTH BY PAYING HOMAGE TO YELLOW DZAMBHALA.

IMAGE OF KALACHAKRA, which is a very powerful protection, ten syllable mantra compressed into a powerful image. It bestows upon us the blessing of safety. The Mantra of Kalachakra is HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT.

THE SYMBOLIC SCRIPT OF THE MANTRA OM AH HUM. I included this because the Kalachakra mantra is seldom recited without saying the OM AH HUM, making the complete Kalachakra Mantra – OM AH HUM HO HAM KSHAMALA VARAYA HUM PHAT. OM AH HUM also cleanses us from the immediate light negative karma that we acquired with our speech, thought and deeds. This negative karma may become hindrances for us to receive blessings. OM AH HUM is also known as the Protection, Environment Purifying and Immediate Negative Karma Cleansing Mantra.

At the back of the pendant are…

The back side of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA'S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT has the images of the Victory Banner, Lung-Ta or Windhorse, the seed syllable of the Goddess Tara - TAM, and the symbolic script of the MEDICINE BUDDHA MANTRA, WISH FULFILLING MANTRA, and the NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA.

THE SYMBOLIC SCRIPT OF THE MANTRA MEDICINE BUDDHA that I made sure is included here because I believe health is the best luck we can receive.

Also included are two of the most powerful mantras the WISH FULFILLING MANTRA and the NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA.

THE SYMBOLIC SCRIPT OF THE WISH FULFILLING MANTRA OM PADMO USHNISHA VIMALE HUM PHAT which is a very powerful mantra that has the ability to bestow upon us all the good things, material or otherwise, that we wish to receive.

THE SYMBOLIC SCRIPT OF THE NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA OM HANU PHASA BHARA HE YE SOHA a powerful mantra that cleanses us from the blockages we get out of the grave sins we did and/or negative karma from previous lives.

THE IMAGE OF VICTORY BANNER a powerful Buddhism and Feng Shui symbol that bestows upon the blessing of success in all our endeavors. You can read more about the Victory Banner in one my earlier posts called THE VICTORY BANNER: A POWERFUL FENG SHUI TOOL FOR CAREER SUCCESS.

THE SEED SYLLABLE OF THE GODDESS TARA – TAM. A seed syllable is used if putting or reciting the whole mantra of the Buddha or Bodhisattva is impossible. Goddess Tara or Green Tara is called the Swift Liberator, it is said Green Tara bestows the blessings of liberation from worldly hardship. She also bestows children to childless couples, romance luck for single people. Goddess Tara’s mantra is OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA.

THE IMAGE OF LUNG-TA OR WINDHORSE, which is a symbol of good fortune and well-being. The Lung-Ta also carries the ‘Wish Fulfilling Jewel of Enlightenment’ that bestows upon us the blessing of success through wisdom and knowledge, which in turn bestows the blessing of career and professional advancement. It is also a powerful symbol to have a very successful business life. All entrepreneurs, businessmen will greatly benefit from the image of Lung-Ta.

If you wish to know more about MANTRA or SYMBOLIC SCRIPT you can read my previous post MANTRA: THE INSTRUMENT TO TAP THE POWER OF SYMBOLIC SOUND, SCRIPT AND THOUGHT.

5 Quick Feng Shui Protection Tips

Published February 7, 2012 by jptan2012

I always tell my friends that prevention or cure is better than enhancing one’s positive Feng Shui luck. However, putting or wearing Feng Shui cures sometimes may create more harm if you’re not totally familiar with your Bazi chart. Full birth date and time should always be taken into consideration, on top of that, the Flying Star and house directions should also be taken into consideration.

However, there are some basic but effective protection and cures that can be used regardless of your birth date and house direction.

1. BIRD FEATHER/S

Hanging bird feathers on your door is one of the most effective Feng Shui protector and cure for minor problems and afflictions. It has the capability to drive away minor negative energies and deflect minor poison arrows. Try to get bird feathers that are colorful but note that a black colored feather doesn’t necessarily mean that its bad. It need not be a real bird feather, fake one will also do. If using a real one please make sure that the bird was not killed for this purpose.

2. BLUE RHINOCEROS

A Blue Rhinoceros is one of the most effective cure against the Flying Star #7. However, even if you’re not familiar where the Flying Star #7 putting a Blue Rhinoceros is still an effective cure against violence and robbery. Wearing or carrying a Blue Rhinoceros is also an effective cure and protection charm. Please make sure that its blue and not any other color.

3. PIYAO

A Piyao (also spelled or called  Pi Yao, Pi Xie, Pixie, Pi Xiu, Pixiu) is powerful protection charm also. I’ve written about this in an earlier post so I’ll won’t write much about it. If you want to know more about it, please click here.

4. IMAGE OF AN ELEPHANT

An image of an elephant is also a good Feng Shui tool against violence and robbery. Furthermore, an image of an elephant also brings about stability and harmony. You can place this in any part of your house, but it works best in the living room facing the front door. The image of an elephant can also be worn as a pendant or bracelet or carried as a key chain, mobile phone charm, or bag charm.

Putting an elephant with the blue rhinoceros makes this cure more powerful.

5. THE MONKEY GOD – SUN WUKONG KNOWN AS ‘THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN’.

The image of the Monkey God – Sun Wukong is one of the most powerful tool to avoid and fight negative energies. You can put Sun Wukong in any part of your house except in the bedroom of married couple and the kitchen. Preferably though it should be place in your living room facing the door.

Wearing an image of Sun Wukong is also a very powerful wealth and protection pendant. You’ll constantly have the blessing and protection of Sun Wukong when its worn as pendant.

I personally can attest to its effectiveness because I’ve personally experienced Sun Wukong’s protection and blessing several times in my life. However, sharing my own story here might be bit a little self serving. However, I also know of somebody who firmly believes that his whole family was saved by Sun Wukong when fire struck their house at the middle of the night.

Allow me to briefly share the story with you but before that many of my readers know my devotion to Sun Wukong. My reverence, belief,  and devotion to ‘THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN’ is so deep that I even designed a WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT that has His image as the main feature of the pendant. Friends and family who wears the pendant swears by its effectivenes.

THE WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT

However, before I became a devotee of Sun Wukong, I really don’t know anything about Him. But a friend introduced me to Him. This is the same friend whose story is what I’m about to share now.

My friend’s family has always been a devotee of Sun Wukong. However, an incident that happened several years ago strengthen this devotion, specially to the younger members of their family. My friend who lives with his parents at that time has several images of Sun Wukong in their. The ‘main image’ is on their altar in their living room. There’s another one in their home office and another one in the 2nd floor living room.

One night, while they were sleeping in separate bedrooms, they were all awaken by a loud knock on their doors and they all heard a voice who warned that their house is on fire. After this, they all heard a blast and the lights went out. Panicked, they all went out of their room, some of them carrying a flashlight, to investigate the matter. They soon found out that the fire is on the first floor of the house. My friend’s brother and father were the first one downstair and found out that the fire is within the home office. They both went in, but realized that they have nothing to kill the fire. Just when they were about to get out somebody handed them a fire extinguisher to which they killed off the fire.

When they were all already pacified they started to talk about what happened. They inquired as to who knocked on the door to warn them about the fire. This is when they realized that it seems that all of them were awoken at the same time, and all of them were awoken by that loud knock and warning. The weird part is his parents swears that they heard the warning in Chinese, my friend and his two other brothers swears that its in Filipino, their only sister seems to be the only person who is not sure whether he heard the warning in English, Chinese, or Filipino.

Furthermore, the eldest son knows that it was his father who handed him the fire extinguisher in the office, but the father can’t seem to be sure who handed him the fire extinguisher. He thought it was one of his other sons, but they’re all busy trying to attend to something. On top of that, their house help claims that they were also woken up the loud knock on their door and a voice in their local dialect warned them that there’s a fire. They all agreed that they were saved by God or by a God. They were just too happy to bother to find out exactly who, but recognized that they experienced Heaven’s blessing that night.

The following night their mother dreamed of the fire incident. But this time in her dream she saw Sun Wukong as the person who woke them up and who handed the fire extinguisher. The following they decided to offer incense to the image of Sun Wukong on their altar and in the office and upstair living room. That’s when they noticed that the image of Sun Wukong in the office has burnt base. Even if the fire happened across the room and the other side of the office where the image of Sun Wukong is totally untouched by fire except that it was ‘dirtier’ because of the fire extinguisher.

You can know more about Sun Wukong by reading my previous blog post – GETTING TO KNOW THE ‘GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN’ THE MONKEY GOD CALLED SUN WUKONG.

FENG SHUI – CHINESE ZODIAC FORECAST FOR 2012 YEAR OF THE WATER DRAGON (PART 2)

Getting to Know the ‘Great Sage, Equal to Heaven’ Monkey God called Sun Wukong!

Published January 7, 2012 by jptan2012

In my previous posts about Feng Shui – 2012 YEAR OF THE WATER DRAGON FENG SHUI FLYING STAR FORECAST, FENG SHUI-CHINESE ZODIAC FORECAST FOR 2012 YEAR OF THE WATER DRAGON PART 1 AND PART 2: and 2012 CHINESE NEW YEAR FENG SHUI RITUALS TO USHER IN THE YEAR OF THE WATER DRAGON – I made mention of the monkey god Sun Wukong as one of the most powerful wealth and protector deity and as the deity featured in the specially designed WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT.

A lot of people are not familiar with the Taoist and Chinese Buddhist Monkey God called Sun Wukong and a lot of Westeners think that having a Monkey God is a preposterous idea. However, the truth is Sun Wukong or the Monkey God is one of the most wonderful and powerful Taoist immortal and Buddhist deity. However, Sun Wukong is also one of the most misunderstood Buddhist deity. A lot of people thought that Sun Wukong is merely a Taoist God or Immortal, but the truth is Sun Wukong embraced Buddhism and thus is also revered in Chinese Buddhism. I say Chinese Buddhism because I’m not sure whether he’s recognized in Tibetan Buddhism. But note that there’s also a Monkey God in Hinduism.

In the Taoist story of creation, Nuwa is the goddess who created the universe. It’s believed that she purposely left a blessed celestial rock that through the passage of time and exposure to different forces and energies became the Stone Monkey [Chinese Character:石猴  Pronunciation: Shí Hóu] .

The Monkey God being a creature out of a celestial rock is naturally intelligent. He banded with other groups of monkey. But has always been discontented about the way they live their life. One time in search for a bottomless source of water, they came across a strong waterfall. They believe that the true power of their future lies behind the curtain of water. However, no one dared to be the first person to enter the curtain of water (waterfall) for fear of the current and the unknown. Stone Monkey volunteered to his group but demanded that should he survived the crossing of the curtain water he should be honored as the king of the monkeys. All the monkeys agreed and Stone Monkey crossed the curtain water and found a cave behind the curtain water filled with fruits and flowers. He called this place the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits [Chinese Character: 花果山].

An artwork depicting the monkeys in out side the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits.

He called in his fellow monkeys, told them about this great place and encourage them to live there. He also reminded them of their agreement that he should survive the crossing he will be then honored as king. The other monkeys-young and old-honored this agreement. As the King of the Monkeys, the Stone Monkey gave himself the name: Handsome Monkey-King [Chinese Character:美猴王 Pronunciation: Měi Hóuwáng ].

However, the Handsome Monkey-King being naturally impatient got tired of his Mountain and Flowers and Fruits. He decided to that he wants to learn more about Taoist magics. He left his monkeys and the Mountain and flowers and Fruits to look for a ‘master’. After traveling for more than ten years and after passing several ‘exams’ a master adopted him, gave him the name Sun Wukong [Chinese Character: 孫悟空 Pronunciation:Sūn Wùkōng], and then train him with some magic and supernatural skills. He soon mastered the Transformation Magic and was also trained in Cloud Riding and he is also able to jump 54,000 kms. in a single flip. However, he played with his Transformation Magic and boasted his skills with the other students. When his master found out about this he was banished.

Sun Wukong then went back to the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits where he found out that his fellow monkeys were attacked and the younger monkeys were kidnapped by a monster. He then went to look for the said monster, freed and avenged his monkeys. He was greatly satisfied with his success but realized that he need a weapon worthy of his powers, for the monster that he attacked has scimatars.

In search for this weapon, he arrived at the lair of the Dragon Kings of the Ocean. The Dragon Kings kindly received him but Sun Wukong abused their kindness greatly inconvenienced them. He demanded for a weapon and for an outfit worthy of his power. After several choices he finally found the most powerful weapon in the Dragon Kings of the Ocean stockroom. The weapon is called the Magical Golden Hooped Rod which weighs 8.1 tons. Much to the surprised of the Dragon Kings was able to carry the weapon, something that hasn’t been done before. The Magical Golden Hooped Rod is really heavy, but once you’re able to carry it you are able to command it to change it size, does Sun Wukong command it to become as small as needle so that he can hide it behind his ears. As mentioned, not contented with just getting the weapon, he also demanded the Dragon Kings of the Ocean to give him magical clothes worthy of his power. They then gave him Golden Chain Mail ( Mail is a type of armor consisting of small metal rings linked together in a pattern to form a mesh), Phoenix-Feathered Cap, and Cloud-Walking Boots.

With his new found abilities, weapon and magical clothers, Sun Wukong decided that he wants to be truly immortal. He then went to hell and erased his name and that of his monkeys from the book of hell. This made him and his monkeys truly immortal.

When the Jade Emperor found out about this he called on Sun Wukong intending to punish him. However, upon the advice of the other Heavenly Beings the Jade Emperor decided to just give him a non-existing position in the Heavenly Kingdom. He was made caretaker of the Heavenly Horses. Where he got the title Keeper of the Heavenly Horses [Chinese Character: 弼馬溫 Pronunciation: Bìmǎwēn]. But Bimawen soon became bored again and challenged the Jade Emperor.

Angered, the Jade Emperor sent Heavenly Beings to subdue Bimawen. However, Bimawen’s power is so great that the Heavenly Beings that was sent to subdue him were no match to his skills, thus they are unable to subdue him. The other Earthly Immortals found out about his and they started addressing him as the ‘Great Sage, Equal of Heaven’ [Chinese Character: 齊天大聖 Pronunciation: Qítiān Dàshèng]. The Great Sage greatly enjoyed this title and immediately adopted it.

However, with the help of Sakyamuni Buddha, The Great Sage was subdued and imprisoned. However, he begged the Boddhisatva of Compassion (Goddess of Mercy) Kuan Yin to release him. Kuan Yin realizing The Great Sage’s power decided to have The Great Sage accompany the Tang Buddhist Monk Xuan Zang in his journey to the West to acquire some Buddhist scrolls. Nevertheless, Kuan Yin knows that The Great Sage with his  tremendous power will be hard to subdue. Thus Kuan Yin instructed Xuan Zang to trick The Great Sage into wearing s Heavenly Headband. Using some prayers the Heavenly Headband will cause pain to The Great Sage. Xuan Zang is to used this whenever The Great Sage becomes out of control.

The Great Sage became the protector and disciple of Xuan Zang. Thus earning him the name Pilgrim or Ascetic [Chinese Character: 行者 Pronunciation: Xíngzhě]. Xuan Zang did have to used the Heavenly Headband but he soon was humbled and subdued. Other than being the disciple of Xuan Zang, Pilgrim became the Xuan Zang’s main protector also. More than that he is also the wittiest disciple of Xuan Zang (there are 3 more disciples). He often acts as the strategist of Xuan Zang.

The story of the Monkey King or Monkey God which is depicted in the novel Journey to the West has been made into movies countless of times.

An artwork depicting Sun Wukong fighting a devil.

Another interpretation of the Monkey God or Monkey King.

Despite of the numerous challenges that they came across during their journey to the West, they were still able to finish the ‘order’. Because all of this Sakyamuni rewarded all of them giving Pilgrim the title of Victorious Fighting Buddha [Chinese Character: 鬥戰勝佛 Pronunciation: Dòu-zhànshèng-fó].

One of the extremely rare art work depicting The Great Sage, Equal of Heaven - Sun Wukong as a Buddha. The Victorious Fighting Buddha.

This story is greatly detailed in the novel of the fictionalized account of the legendary pilgrimage of the Tang Buddhist Monk Xuan Zang. It is unfortunate, that Westerners regard it as a fiction. However, to most Taoist and Buddhist believed that the story really happened in the Heavenly Realm.

I personally have a deep devotion to The Great Sage Sun Wukong. But that’s another story for another post.

In writing this I hope you’ll have a better understanding of who Sun Wukong is and why I decided to have Him as the main deity of my specially designed – WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT. He is no ordinary Monkey God, he is ‘The Great Sage, Equal of Heaven’.

The Great Sage, Equal of Heaven - Sun Wukong is the main deity of the specially designed WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT. This is because othe than being a powerful protector, the Monkey God is also the main strategist of the pilgrims who journeyed to the West. He often the one who thinks for the group.

At the back of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION are the Chinese character for 'THE GREAT SAGE, EQUAL OF HEAVEN' and the images of the Three Celestial Guardians (provides protection against the 3 Killings), Five Element Pagoda (provides protection from the Five Yellow Star or Flying Star #5) and the Ksitigarbha Fireball (provides protection against the Argumentative Star). I'm also thinking of looking for a jade supplier and a crafts man who can craft the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT on a Jade. Chinese people has a natural affinity towards jade and a lot of people have been looking for a JADE WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT.

2012 Year of the Water Dragon Feng Shui Flying Star Forecast

Published December 31, 2011 by jptan2012

The past few posts I talked about the 2012 Feng Shui Chinese Zodiac Forecast for the 12 Animal Signs – RAT, OX, TIGER, RABBIT, DRAGON, SNAKE, HORSE, SHEEP / GOAT, MONKEY, ROOSTER, DOG, PIG / BOAR. However, it is important to know that your luck for the year is not solely determined by your animal sign because it is equally important to look at the place where you live and where you work. Your luck is also determined by the Flying Stars of your house/office.

First, what are Flying Stars? Flying Stars or Xuan Kong is basically a discipline or branch of Feng Shui that studies the annual movement ‘stars’ or chi of a location that may affect your profession, health, career, finance/wealth, physical energy, psychological energy, spiritual energy. In Feng Shui the energy of your house and of your workplace is as important as your animal sign. The truth is Flying Star is also applied to the village, town, barangay, municipal, city, country and for the really good ones they can actually foretell the ‘fortune’ of the country by applying the Flying Stars concept in the world map.

The founder of Flying Stars assigned a specific number to each of this energy, and succeeding generation assigned a name depending on the effects of this energy. The name may vary a little from one Feng Shui consultant to another but they’re basically the same. It is also important to understand that the Tai Sui (Tai Suey) God and the 3 Killings are not part of the Flying Star concept. However, in discussing and determining the Flying Star of the house we include both the Tai Suey and the Three Killings in the equation because they also occupy the one of the nine squares in the Lo Shu Square.

The nine Lo Shu Square are – EAST, WEST, NORTH, SOUTH, SOUTHEAST, SOUTHWEST, NORTHEAST, NORTHWEST, CENTER.

To understand more about the Flying Star, I suggest check out Wikipedia. The offer a brief but clear explanation of the Flying Star. They’re also a lot of books that solely deal with Flying Stars Feng Shui.

THE FLYING STARS OF THE 2012 YEAR OF THE WATER DRAGON IS AS FOLLOWS:

1. AUSPICIOUS STARS

Flying Star 4 aka Romance and Scholastic Star flies to the EAST

Effects: Romance luck is heightened if your room is on this side of the house. For single people, you might have the possibility of finding love. For partnered people, you might find your love getting more ‘fragrant’. However, for married couple the effect might be too fold – First, you might find yourself loving each other more deeply, but, there might be the possibility of a third party getting involve also. It is also called the Scholastic Star because it also has a good effect on Scholastic pursuits of a person. Meaning, students may become more studious, and professionals might find themselves understanding documents better.

Feng Shui Enhancer: For single persons you can put a Rose Quartz Mandarin Ducks on your bedside. For married couple, you can  hang the character of the Double Happiness on your headboard. To safeguard yourself from a third party, tie an Amethyst Geode with Red String on the foot of your bed.

Rose Quartz Mandarin Ducks

Feng Shui Tip: Do not put too much water features on this side of the house this year because it might cause sexual scandals or promiscuity.

Flying Star 1 aka White Victory Star flies to the SOUTH

Effects: This star or chi or energy brings luck to all your endeavors.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Victory Banner / Horse.

The Victory Banner is considered as one of the 8 Auspicious Object in Buddhism.

Flying Star 6 aka Heaven’s Blessing or Mentor Luck Star flies to the CENTER

Effects: It sets the ‘tone’ for the year. Meaning, if you continuously to do good the more blessed you’re going to be. This also means even if you’re Animal Zodiac luck is not so good like the Dog, you will continuously have help from Heaven (Buddhas, Deities, Bodhisattva or Saints). This also means that you’ll be lucky enough to have people who will help you to achieve your goal.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Crystal Balls / 6 White Jade tied with a Red String

Flying Star 8 aka Wealth Star flies to the West

Effects: It gives you abundance and ‘bottomless’ pocket. This star is not just about money wealth but this is also about abundance.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Faux Gold Coins or Bars or Ingots, Wealth Deity (Maitreya Buddha or Kuan Kong or Sun Wukong)

Sun Wukong aka Monkey God aka Pilgrim aka 'Great Sage, Equal to Heaven' is a very powerful wealth and protector god. He is one of the few deities worshipped both in Taoism (also spelled as Daoism) and Buddhism.

NOTE: To know more about the Monkey God Sun Wukong, read my post about ‘The Great Sage, Equal to Heaven’.

Flying Star 9 aka Future Prosperity or Multiplying Star flies to the NorthEast

Effects: This is neither a good or bad star. It only means that whatever you ‘sow’ so shall you ‘reap’. This basically multiplies whatever karma you accumulate. If you do more good things you’ll have more good luck in the future, but if you continue to do a lot of bad things, you multiply your negative karma as well.

Using the Feng Shui tools mentioned above you can enhance the auspicious stars but all Feng Shui consultants/experts will stress that it’s more important to subdue the negative stars/chi/energy of the Flying Stars. If you’re on a tight budget, you need to subdue the negative stars first before you enhanced the auspicious ones.

2. THE NEGATIVE STARS

Flying Star 7 aka Violent Star flies to the NorthWest

Effects: This star brings hostility and loss through robbery, theft, or even manipulation. This star also directly affects the Patriarchs which means it affects the leaders as well. This means they may face danger with metal arms or face violent death.

Feng Shui Protector: (Only one of the following items will do.) Image of Sun Wukong [Monkey God], Image of Kuan Kong [also spelled as Guan Gong], Mantra Plaque, Elephant with Rhinoceros Image. For people whose room is in the NorthWest and for Patriarchs (which includes leaders, head of the family, entrepreneurs, businessman, CEO) it is advisable to wear an image of Sun Wukong, Kuan Kong or a Mantra Pendant. The WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT is also advisable.

Kuan Kong / Guan Gong / Guan Ti / Guan Yu / Guan Sheng Ti Jun

Front side of WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT. This is an image of Sun Wukong.

The other side of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION has the words 'Great Sage, Equal to Heaven' in Chinese characters at the top, followed by the 3 Celestial Guardians (Pi Yao - good for Tai Sui, Chilin, Fu Dog), then at the bottom are the image of the Ksitigarbha Fireball and the 5-Element Pagoda. Currently, I'm also looking into making a JADE WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT, that is because Chinese loves jade.

Flying Star 3 aka Argumentative Star flies to the SouthWest

Effects: May cause relationship problems, numerous bickering, litigation, quarrels and problems/conflicts with authority. Matriarchs are also affected by this star regardless of whether they stay in the SouthWest or not.

Feng Shui Protector: Ksitigarbha Fireball (place this is the SouthWest section of the house or room). For Matriarchs and/or if yur room is in this section of the house you can wear or carry the Ksitigarbha Fireball pendant/key chain. It will also be nice if you can wear a Maitreya (Happy Fat) Buddha pendant.

Ksitigarbha Fireball is a good Feng Shui tool to counter the effects of the Argumentative Star.

Flying Star 2 aka Illness Star flies to the North

Effects: As the name implies, this star causes illness and to some extent it can be fatal or terminal. Also affected by the star regardless of whether they stay in the North section of the house are the middle son and people under the year of the Rat.

Feng Shui Protector: Wulou or Holy Gourd or Image of the Medicine Buddha. For people who stays in this section of the house or office, and for the middles sons and people born under the sign of the Rat it is advisable for them to wear a Jade Wu Lou pendant and/or a Medicine Buddha pendant [preferably with Mantra].

The Wu Lou or Holy Gourd is one of the best tool to fight the effects of the Illness Star. As much as possible try to get something that can be opened and hollow inside. You can then place the following items inside-3 tablespoon of Rock/Sea Salt, 1 tablespoon of incense ash from a Taoist or Buddhist temple, small unburned incense, Medicine Buddha mantra, and an paper amulet from a Sun Wukong or Kuan Yin or Kuan Kong temple. After putting everything inside seal it and tie a red ribbon around the Wulou. If this is not possible an ordinary Wu Lou works as well, the addtional 'ingredients' is just to make it more potent.

Flying Star 5 aka Five Yellow Star flies to the SouthEast (Furthermore, the Tai Sui God is also in the SouthEast corner.)

Effects: The 5-Yellow Star is the worst of all the negative stars. It brings 5 different kinds of misfortunes and to make things worst, the Tai Suey is also in the SouthEast section.

Feng Shui Protector: AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE MOVE OUT FROM THIS SECTION. Five Yellow Pagoda, Image of the Goddess of the North Star [Dou Mu Yuan Jun] which has been blessed in a Taoist Temple [available by request], Image of Piyao. For people who stays in this section of the house or building, as mentioned, please move out. You also need the following Feng Shui tools-FIVE ELEMENT PAGODA PENDANT, PIYAO PENDANT or DOU MU YUAN JUN [GODDESS OF THE NORTH STAR] PENDANT. The WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT is also a good Feng Shui tool.

Five Element Pagoda

Dou Mu Yuan Jun (Goddess of the North Star)

Feng Shui Tip: Keep the SouthEast as quiet as possible – no watching of TV, no renovations, keep the lights to a minimum, no playing in this section, no crystals, no digging, no burning of anything, no cutting. If your main door is in the SouthEast, try to use another door, if this is not possible please make sure you put plants flanking your main door and hang a 5-Element Pagoda on your door. Also put an image of a Piyao or Dou Mu Yuan Jun on top of the door.

The 3 Killings flies to the South.

Effects: If you notice the Flying Star 1 or White Victory Star is also in the South. This only means that whatever success the White Victory Star brings ‘may be’ negated by the 3 Killings. However, despite of the name, it is quite easy to deal with the Three Killings and as long as you put the Feng Shui tool to protect you from the 3 Killings you’ll be safe from this energy. .

Feng Shui Protector: Three Celestial Guardians (Place in the South section of the house, room or office). For people who stays in the South section you can also wear the image of the 3-Celestial Guardians or carry their image as a key chain.

The Three Celestial Guardians are mystical celestial beings.

Please note that the official date of the Year of the Water Dragon is on Jan. 23, 2012, thus this will take effect on that day. There is another school of thought that regardless of the date of the Chinese New Year the Flying Stars moves to their new section on Feb. 4 every year of the Western calendar. I personally don’t believe this. I think this is just a tool for Feng Shui experts to make everything easier. It doesn’t make sense that everything else in base on the Lunar Calendar except the movement of the stars.

Feng Shui-Chinese Zodiac Forecast for 2012 Year of the Water Dragon (Part 2)

Published December 30, 2011 by jptan2012

In my previous post, I shared with you my 2012 Year of the Water Dragon Feng Shui forecast for the Chinese Zodiacs – Rat, Ox, Tiger, and Rabbit. These are base on my own calculations and interpretations of the Bazi or Four Pillars and the Flying Star. My family is an avid Feng Shui believers and we realized that it’ll be cheaper for us if one of us just enroll and study Feng Shui rather than pay for the expensive fee of a Feng Shui consultant.

Allow me to clarify that these readings are generic for each of the animal sign. For me to be able to give you a better reading, I need to have your birth-year, month, day, and time.

THE DRAGON…

might have the misconception that since this is a year of the dragon, he or she might have a very good year. However, this is actually wrong and a very common misconception at that. The truth of the matter is that if your Chinese Zodiac is similar to the sign of the year, it means its going to be a challenging year ahead for that particular sign. One reason for this is that because you’re directly within the ‘house’ or the section of the Tai Sui God of the year.

This year, will be challenging for the people born under the sign of the Dragon because, as mentioned, you’re directly within the section of the Tai Sui God and you’re also in conflict with the Yellow Killing.

This is a year wherein you should be very careful in taking risk. You’ll find yourself constantly facing hindrances and problems. You should also be very careful in watching out for your health. But do not despair because I always believe that its useless to know about what may happen when you can’t prepare for it and deal with it. Knowing these things will help you to be on your guard and watch out for possible problems.

Feng Shui Protection: Piyao [also spelled as Pi Yao] (Pendant/Bracelet)/Dou Mu Yuan Jun [Goddess of the North Star] Pendant, Five Element Pagoda (Pendant/Key Chain), Jade Wulou, Ksitigarbha Fireball, Five Bat DZI (Pendant/Bracelet), Kalachakra Pendant

Piyao or Pi Yao is a mystical celestial creature which pacifies the Tai Sui God.

Dou Mu Yuan Jun or Goddess of the North Star is a powerful Deity to counter the effects of Tai Suey. She is said to be the creator of all the Tai Suey Gods does has the power to rule or control over them.

It is quite difficult to get a Dou Mu Yuan Jun pendant. However, I was recently able to get one that's made of 14k gold from Master Joseph Chau, the acclaimed Feng Shui expert. He also has the jade version, but I find the jade version too big and its more expensive than the gold one.

There are different versions of the 5-Element Pagoda. However, personally the original version and a small one, I believe, is okay and powerful enough to counter the effects of the 5-Yellow Star.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Kuan Yin Pendant/Tara Pendant/Kuan Kong Pendant, Ruyi, Mantra (Ring/Pendant), Sun Wukong aka Monkey God aka Great Sage Equal to Heaven (Pendant/Image)

Whenever I state here- Mantra Pendant- I refer to any Tibetan mantra which I think is one of the most powerful Buddhism and Feng Shui tools. However, OM MANI PADME HUM (pronounce as HUNG) is one of the most powerful one. It's the mantra of Bodhisattva of Compassion - Kuan Yin or Avalokitesvara or Chenrezig.

I also designed my very own Wealth and Master Protection pendant which is may be advisable for people born under the sign of the Dragon. Sometimes, it seems absurd to be wearing so many pendants, that’s why I thought of designing my own pendant which will address this concern. I initially designed this pendant for myself and for my family. However, when our friends found out about this we started making this for them. Ours is made of 14K yellow gold but we can make a silver one also. Please email me if interested, but I have to warn you that it’s a little pricey but this is something that can be use ‘forever’ you don’t have to change it yearly.

WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT is a pendant I designed so that I don't have to wear a lot of pendants around my neck. At the front is the image of Sun Wukong (aka Monkey God or Great Sage, Equal to Heaven). Sun Wukong is a very powerful wealth and protector deity. There has been a lot of confusion as to whether Sun Wukong is a Taoist(Daoist) Deity or a Buddhist Deity. The truth is Sun Wukong's story is quite uniique. He started as a Taoist deity and in the process became a Buddhist deity, thus, he is worshipped and revered both in Taoism and Buddhism. The pendant is made of 14k gold and weight around 13g. Friends started requesting me to make one for them also and I started having my jeweler make a silver version of the pendant. I'm also currently looking into the possibility of having the images carved into a jade thus making a JADE WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT.

At the back of the WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT are the image of the Three Celestial Guardians (w/ implements) this is to help counter the effects of the 3 Killings and at the bottom is the 5-Element Pagoda to address the 5-Yellow Star and beside it on the right side is the Ksitigarbha Fireball fo counter the argumentative star. At the top is the Chinese character that says-GREAT SAGE, EQUAL TO HEAVEN. If I'm not mistaken this is the only Master Protection pendant that addresses different major concerns. The Pi Yao in the Three Celestial Guardians addresses the possible concerns brought about by the Tai Suey God. Sun Wukong and the Chilin in the 3 Celestial Guardians also addresses wealth and career luck. On top of that Sun Wukong is also a very powerful protector deity.

To know more about Sun Wukong click here.

THE SNAKE…

had a good fortune the past couple of years, but this year its going to be a little bad for them. This is because they’re directly affected by the Five Yellow Killing Star.

Your chi or energy is going to be  very unstable which may cause you to make a lot of wrong judgments or decisions. Financially, you will have to be very cautious. Do not overspend. Also be careful that you get into a legal case, because this may cause long term (years!) problem.

It’ll be wise for you to get yourself a wealth and protector deity like Sun Wukong (aka ‘Monkey God’ aka ‘Great Sage, Equal to Heaven’) and Kuan Kong (also spelled as Guan Gong)

On the love front, you may find yourself continuously arguing with your partner.

Furthermore, you should also be wary of the 3-Killings Star which may bring problem to your health or causes accidents, financial growth, and causes obstacle in your growth path

Feng Shui Protection: 5-Element Pagoda (Pendant or Key Chain), Sun Wukong Pendant/Kuan Kong Pendant, Three Celestial Guardians, Rooster (Pendant/Figurine), Ksitgarbha Fireball (Pendant/Key Chain)

Always look at the face of the Kuan Kong pendant that you're getting for yourself. The 'braver' the face the better.

Admittedly, its difficult to find a '3-Celestial Guardian' Pendant. A key chain will do. However, that's also the reason why I designed my WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT with the 3-Celestial Guardian at the back.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Amethyst Geode tied with a red string beside the bed, Ruyi (Pendant/Key Chain), 5 Bat DZI with Red Tiger’s Eye Beads.

Amethyst Geode with Red String.

5-Bat DZI has the image of five bats. Contrary to western belief that bats are scary and serves as a bad omen, bats actually brings good fortune.

I also designed my very own Wealth and Master Protection pendant which is may be advisable for people born under the sign of the Snake.

THE HORSE…

will fall flat on their face if they don’t learn to be humble and if they continue to cause ‘emotional injury’ with their sharp words. Having said that, this is actually a good year for people born under the year of the Horse. Success may actually come easily but they may easily destroy this good luck by continuously creating bad karma with their malicious manipulative scheming minds.

People born under the sign of the horse also has good mentor luck meaning they might find themselves surrounded by people who can help them succeed. But they should be humble enough to acknowledge this help. Give credit where credit is due.

This year the horse is confronted by the 3-Killings Star, which may cause health problems and accidents, financial problem, and obstacle. You may be asking isn’t this conflicting with the earlier statements. It’s not, this only means that you have the luck but may be negated by the 3-Killings. In turn, the effects of the 3-Killings may be aggravated by the negative karma that a snake commits. So be very careful in not doing anything wrong. The Earth Horse born in the year 1978 has the biggest tendency to be create a negative karma by being boastful, hurtful with their words, and malicious.

Health luck is a little bad. Meaning you can get ill a lot this year.

Feng Shui Protectors: Three Celestial Guardians (Pendant), Ksitigarbha Fire Ball, Jade Wulou, and be nice and good.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Chilin, Sun Wukong (Pendant), Victory Banner (Pendant/Key Chain), Mystic Knot (Pendant/Key Chain)

A Chilin is another mystical celestial creature that helps in delivering career and financial success.

The Victory Banner is one of the 8 Auspicious Objects in Tibetan Buddhism. This is a powerful tool to help us achieve our goals.

I also designed my very own Wealth and Master Protection pendant which is may be advisable for people born under the sign of the Horse.

THE SHEEP/GOAT…

will have a good fortune this year. You might come across another interpretation that says that people born under the sign of the Sheep or Goat will have ‘conflicting’ year. I was actually surprised with this interpretation and thought I might have made a mistake, so what I did is I cross reference my interpretation and calculation of the stars with some of the best Feng Shui experts in Kong Kong and Singapore. I’m really glad that my interpretation and calculation is similar to these non-commercialized Feng Shui experts.

Anyway, you the Sheep will have good fortune this year of the Water Dragon. Financial luck is very good but be careful to rule with your head rather than with your heart. Don’t abuse your luck by being too bullish.

I believe, the reason why this other Feng Shui expert said that the Sheep will have a ‘conflicting’ year is because you’re flanked by the Three Killings Star and by the ‘Argumentative’ Star. To remedy this you can wear the Three Celestial Guardians and the Ksitigarbha Fireball.

Feng Shui Protector: 3-Celestial Guardians (Pendant/Key Chain), Ksitigarbha Fireball (Pendant/Key Chain).

The Ksitigarbha Fireball is a very powerful tool to prevent arguments. I prefer that this is worn as a pendant. I also decided to put the Ksitigarbha Fireball on my WEALTH AND MASTER PROTECTION PENDANT. There are now many different versions of the fireball, I think this is just a marketing strategy to make people buy new items.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Ruyi (Pendant/Key Chain), Sun Wukong Pendant/Kuan Yin Pendant

I have several Kuan Yin pendants, some are made of jade. But my favorite is the small gold pendant because I can just wear it around my neck day and night, even while I'm taking a bath.

One other reason why this is my favorite is because it has the inscription of the Heart Sutra at the back. It is like wearing mantra. Buddhist believed that the Heart Sutra has the power to grant blessings and protection to those who has them on their body.

THE MONKEY…

has very good earth luck this year. This means you have the tendency to do well in ‘material’ things. However, heaven luck is a little low, which means relationships might be put to a test and that there might be a lot of argument. This year, its important for you to keep your cool and always think twice or thrice before you say something. Remember DON’T BE GREEDY.

Feng Shui Protectors: Ksitigarbha Fireball, Bodhi Tree or Leaf DZI (Pendant/Bracelet)/Lotus DZI (Pendant/Bracelet)

Bodhi DZI should be worn as a necklace and/or as a bracelet. If worn as bracelet strung it with an amethyst or jade beads.

The Lotus DZI can be worn as necklace and/or as a bracelet. If using it as a bracelet string it with red tiger's eye or rutilated quartz.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Kuan Yin Pendant, Om Ah Hum Pendant, Victory Banner Pendant/Key Chain

This particular OM AH HUM pendant was designed by Lillian Too and is sold on her Feng Shui Mall site.

THE ROOSTER…

maybe the luckiest sign this year! Financial luck is extremely stable while Career luck is also ‘shining’.

Love life is also extremely ‘abundant’, but this also may also have the potential to open doors to a 3rd party.

Health luck is also great, as long as you don’t totally abuse your body.

Feng Shui Protector: Double Happiness Pendant/Rooster (preferably) with Fan

Double Happiness

The rooster has the power to peck away the unwanted third party. The Fan has the power to change bad energies into good one. This particular pendant is available in WOFS.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Maitreya [Happy Fat Buddha] Pendant/Kuan Yin Pendant/Kuan Kong Pendant

Maiteya Buddha or the Happy Fat Buddha is a powerful diety to help neutralize highly negative scenarios. I always wear this particular pendant if I'm going to run into a 'heated' meeting.

THE DOG…

will have a challenging year ahead of them, this is because the Dog is in direct conflict with the Dragon, which means they’re also in direct ‘confrontational’ position with the Tai Sui (Tai Suey) God of the year.

This is not a good year for you to change career or put up a new business. There is also a possibility of a great financial loss.

A person born under the sign of the Dog will have to be careful about their health, also they should be careful not to get into depression.

Feng Shui Protectors: Piyao (Pendant/Bracelet)/Dou Mu Yuan Jun [Goddess of the North Star] Pendant, Ksitigarbha Fireball, Sun Wukong [aka Monkey God] Pendant, Ammonite Pendant, Kalachakra Pendant/Mantra Pendant, Jade Wulou

An Ammonite Fossilized Shell is a very powerful tool to negate negative energies. It also helps us achieve our goal and bring us financial and career success. However, ammonites are very expensive because this fossil actually preserved the shells formed by prehistoric cephalopods, which are extinct distant relatives of squids. I have two ammonites. I got one that's really affordable and I thought I got a good discount, it turn out that its a fake ammonite. I then looked for a real ammonite and eventually found one but it did cost quite a small fortune. But I'm happy with it because fake ammonites are basically useless.

The Kalachakra Pendant is one of the most powerful Buddhism tools to counter negative energies. Kalachakra doesn't have a direct translation in any other language but it loosely means 'the one with 10 powers'. It is also a very powerful protection pendant. You'll normally see Buddhist monk wear this somewhere around their body. I personally have 3 different Kalachakra pendants. One is made of crystal quartz engraved with a the Kalachakra, another one is made of stainless steel but enclose on it are colored Kalachakra sand and was personally blessed by Lama Zopa Rinpoche. The third Kalachakra pendant is a white gold Kalachakra with Kalachakra Mandala Sand from one of the Kalachakra initiation conducted by the Dalai Lama, this third piece is truly a collector's item because there are only 1,000 pieces made.

Feng Shui Enhancers: Sun Wukong Pendant, Amethyst (Pendant/Bracelet) with 5-Bat DZI

I also designed my very own Wealth and Master Protection pendant which is may be advisable for people born under the sign of the Dog.

THE BOAR/PIG…

will have a stable financial and career luck this year. This is the time of the year for people born under the sign of the Boar to take risks. It’s a good time for you to invest on good karma because this may be multiplied.

Feng Shui Protectors:

Feng Shui Enhancers: Mystic Knot (Pendant/Key Chain), Sun Wukong [aka Monky God] Pendant

The Mystic Knot has the power to enhance the 'good' luck of a person.

We’ve now discussed the Feng Shui forecast for the 12 Chinese Zodiacs, namely – RAT, OX, TIGER, RABBIT, DRAGON, SNAKE, HORSE, SHEEP/GOAT, MONKEY, ROOSTER, DOG, PIG/BOAR. The first four signs in in my previous post - FENG SHUI-CHINESE ZODIAC FORECAST FOR 2012 YEAR OF THE WATER DRAGON.
