Count Your Blessing

Published May 3, 2013 by jptan2012

Yesterday, I wrote about my Feng Shui blunders. I was surprised with the overwhelming emails that I received expressing their support for me.

A Senator’s wife who happens to be a regular reader and also got the pendant from me called to help me check about the NBI/Police Major that is supposedly assigned to be the aide of Senator Drilon. As it turned out, and also as expected, there is no such person.

Another reader who happens to be a wife of somebody from NBI will also check if there’s such a person in the NBI. As I write this I’m still awaiting for her feedback.

A lot of my readers whom I’ve personally met also sms’d me (some called) to offer their support, help, and/or prayers. I really appreciate this a lot! I honestly didn’t expect the overwhelming response.

I really appreciate all the messages, call, and help but there is one particular reader who emailed me that really made me realize something. His message was simple but really straight from the heart. He also thought me a valuable lesson. Allow me to share his email with you; I’ll just call him by his initials Atty. B.

Atty. B wrote:

Hi JP!

I just read about your incident with CR, and I’m quite concerned about it.

It’s really unfortunate when people become unruly, especially when they’re (supposedly) from government. It gives public service a bad image, or gives it a worse image than it already is.

Bottomline: you may have had a few Feng Shui “blunders”, but I’m certain you have more Feng Shui “wonders” generated, because of the countless people you have helped. You exemplified so much generosity through your time and effort in sharing your Feng Shui knowledge to the world.

Being a person in government myself, I abhor the name-dropping and arrogant attitude of CR. More so, as the he claims to be in the police force.

Pls inform me if CR keeps still keeps on bugging you. Modesty aside too, maybe I can (do) something to help.

Warm regards!

blessingBefore Atty. B’s email I was already seriously considering ‘closing’ this blog. I knew that when I started this blog I’m opening myself to all sorts of people. And this incident with CR stressed that belief and made me think to just stop blogging, however, that thought didn’t last long because of all the wonderful response from readers but most of all this email from Atty B. This is because Atty. B indirectly pointed out something to me and that is again I’m focusing on the negative. Why should I be dissuaded with one stressful incident while there were so much more good things happening because of this blog? And by good things I don’t refer to the supposedly good things that this blog site brings to its readers, but I’m counting my own personal blessings. As of last count, since I’ve started this blog I’ve gained several more friends. More than my 10 fingers can count. Also, all I have to do is write about a stressful incident and several of my readers will sms me, call me, send me prayers, all these only means one thing, I get so much positive energy.

This reminds me of a discussion I had with a pediatric cardiologist who at that time just lost a patient on the operating table. He was really sad for what happened but he didn’t seem depress. I ask him how does he feel that he just lost a patient. He said that he really feels sorry for the boy’s parents, and that he feels sad but – I WILL COUNT THE LIVING, I WILL COUNT THE ONES WHO GET WELL, BUT I WILL NOT COUNT THE DEAD. I WILL REMEMBER THEM AND LEARN FROM THEM BUT I WILL COUNT ONLY THE LIVING.

What happened with me is really nothing compared to what the doctor has to go through everyday of his life. But I think that it is a very important lesson that each one of us has to learn. COUNT THE LIVING, LEARN FROM THOSE WHO DIED, BUT COUNT ONLY THE LIVING. We need to ALWAYS LOOKS AT THE POSITIVE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES BUT ALWAYS COUNT OUR BLESSINGS.

Many people say that they were blessed and that their lives improved because of this blog. I should remember that. But more importantly, I should remember that I should count the blessings that I get from this blog. People who I know will always send me positive energies when I need them.

A Prophetic Dream, The Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant, and A Wonderful Blessing

Published May 2, 2013 by jptan2012

Today, I would like to share with you a story of yet another reader. Let’s just call him D.

D wrote me an email a few months back. However, because of the numerous emails that I received a day, I was not able to reply sooner. After about 3 emails, I chanced upon one of his latest email last February and replied.

D said he’s a regular reader of my blog and claims to have read each and every single post that I’ve written. He also said that he’s been wanting to get the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA pendant but thought that I it might be expensive. I told that, unfortunately, it is indeed the case because according to my jeweler it is quite difficult to make it because of the intricate design.

D said he wants to get the pendant because his wife his currently pregnant and while he still has some savings, he just lost his job. He is hoping to go into business; however, he felt that it is not the right time for him to get into something big because of his wife’s pregnancy.

I agreed to do a basic reading of D’s BAZI, and it showed that going into business might be better for him. However, he said, he is more inclined to just go back and look for work just to be on the safe side. I recommended some Feng Shui charms that he can wear which he can buy either online or in Chinatown.

However, two days after we talked. D called me up again, and told me about a dream that disturbed him. He said, in his dream, his Arowana spit out the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA pendant and that he was suddenly surrounded by several large beautiful aquariums filled with various different beautiful fishes.

I’m not a dream interpreter. However, in Feng Shui Fish and Water are almost always a sign of money luck. The key word here is that in his dream he saw BEAUTIFUL aquariums and BEAUTIFUL fishes, which gave me an indication that it’s a good sign.  I was cautious not to relate the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING AND MANTRA pendant with his possible good fortune because I don’t want him to think that I’m trying to sell him my pendant. However, D raised the question of the relation of the pendant to the fishes, that’s when I told him getting the pendant or simply tapping on the images found on the pendant might be the key for him to get the money luck as indicated in his dream.

The key word on D's dream is that he saw what he describes as beautiful fishes and aquarium.

The key word on D’s dream is that he saw what he describes as beautiful fishes and aquarium.

Dennis decided to request me to have the pendant made for him. Last March, about a month after from he requested it, he finally got the pendant, and believes that the pendant will help him get a job. However, about 2 weeks ago D called me to inform me that he still haven’t found a job, but something better happened. His wife’s uncle called them up to inform him that he is retiring, however, since all his children are in the US, nobody will run his business for him. It’s a good business that earns a substantial income every month and it will be a waste to just close shop. He wants his niece and D to take over the business. They agreed on a price, which they’ll have to pay off monthly and the business is theirs already.

D feels that this wonderful blessing was all because of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA pendant. As for me, I’m just happy that the pendant that I designed for myself and my family and friends is now an instrument for a lot of people to receive blessings and I have shared some of these testimonies here on this blog. The titles are : WISH FULFILLED WITH THE ‘WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT’ – A PERSONAL TESTIMONY and the other one is ANOTHER WISH FULFILLED WITH THE ‘WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT’. There are a lot of my readers who shares with me the blessings that they get when they get the pendant. For some people, it is simply as making them calmer. But for me I’m just really happy that something I designed for myself and for family and friends in now an instrument for people to tap into good Feng Shui.

Incidentally, I would like to share here that while I do accept requests for the pendant, please understand that I’m not a seller and neither is this my job. This is just something that I do on the side and I have my own business that I run. Sharing this here because I don’t want confusion that you’ll get your pendant anytime you want, you will have to wait until I finish working on your bazi to identify the stone that needs to be put on your pendant and for production time.

Many people who request for the pendant has problems that they go through that is why they get the pendant, no one can say whether your problem is bigger than that of the other thus you need the pendant more. I felt I needed to add this one as a learning from my experience with CR.

It Was Never About Feng Shui

My dog was really happy to see me back and wanted to be carried. Everyday he patiently waits for me at the balcony.

My dog was really happy to see me back and wanted to be carried. Everyday he patiently waits for me at the balcony.

I just want to make a quick post about Red my toy poodle. It’s amazing how much Red has affected me. In the short time that he lives with me, Red has made a lot of difference in my life. I now always have to think as to what time I should go home because no one will feed Red and on top of that I know he always patiently waits for me.

You see Red is not just a dog that gives good Feng Shui, in fact, it was never about Feng Shui but about learning to care for another living thing. About unconditional love and when I say unconditional love, I don’t mean the love that we give to dogs, but the love they have for us.

My Feng Shui Blunder

Published May 1, 2013 by jptan2012

I’m writing this blog to remind everybody that sometimes Feng Shui cures are not enough, we have to be very cautious about some Feng Shui blunders that we might do. We should not tempt fate.

I’m not a professional Feng Shui consultant but modesty aside given my various Feng Shui training and with my continuous ‘practice’ and study I can consider myself a little more knowledgeable than an average person. However, even somebody who’s very into Feng Shui like me can get a little stubborn and create a Feng Shui blunder.

Recently, I had a reader who emailed me requesting for the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA pendant. I’m not sure how many times he’s written before I replied. But we had several email exchanged.

Instinct told me that I should not entertain CR’s email. However, as my Feng Shui teacher says we are not here to judge a person, but we’re here to just share our knowledge, even if we feel the person is not totally a good person as their Bazi would indicate.

According to CR he needs the pendant, and insisted that he’ll do a bank transfer ASAP. I reluctantly gave him my account details and he transferred money. That’s when the horror story started.

As soon as he transferred money to my account, he started bugging me wanting to get the pendant ASAP. I told him that it’s not possible because there are many people who requests for the pendant, and I’ll have to do Bazi analysis of each of the people who requested for the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA pendant. He even went as far as saying I should prioritize him and that I should just bypass all the other readers and acquaintances that has requested for the pendant. Told him that I strictly follow a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis and I need to be fair. However, since I sense his desperation, told him that I will ask some readers if they’re willing to ‘give way’ to CR. Unfortunately, the people who I thought would be willing to delay their pendants a little felt that they also need their WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA pendant.

When I mentioned this to CR, he immediately requested that his money be transferred back to him, even it was a Sunday! A non-working day here in the Philippines. Clarified with him that it’s a Sunday and I won’t be able to do it, he then requested that the money be transferred back to him first thing Monday morning. Regular readers of this blog knows that Feng Shui consultancy is really not my bread and butter, this is not my job or work, this is just something that I do on the side because I believe in it. Clarified with CR that I won’t be able to do it in the morning. He then told me that I should do it in the morning because he doesn’t (in his own words sent thru sms)-I DON’T WANT TO TELL THIS TO MY FATHER I KNOW HIM HE CAN BE BALISTIC AND MIGHT SEND TROOPS TO U!- this is for me is a straight out threat! I told him that I’m not the type of person who will take threats lightly.

He really was insisting that the money be transferred back at a time that he wants. Even before the day ended he started calling me things and continuously threatened me. He even went as far having somebody call me and send me a message from somebody who is supposedly from the NBI. However, this person won’t even tell me his name. It had to take me until today before he finally gave his name and clarified that he was a police major who works as an aide for Sen. Franklin Drilon. I’m still checking on this. Until now I still get threats from CR and I’ll be filing a police report against him tomorrow.

The question is why did I experience such thing given that I have a lot of Feng Shui charms. I have to take a back seat and analyze the problem. That’s when it occurred me three Feng Shui blunders that I did last week. First, I went to a CBTL store, seeing that it is full of people, I reluctantly took the seat under the stairs, which is a big NO – NO! It’s a terrible Feng Shui blunder, but to be honest I count on the fact that my Feng Shui charms will do all the work.

Another Feng Shui blunder that I did last week was when on a very hot day I decided to wear a blue shirt. A color that is another big NO-NO for me, but since it was really a hot day, and that shirt is really ‘cooler’ than most of my shirts I decided to take a risk and wore the shirt.

We have to be careful about getting angry. Aside from attracting so much negative energy it also makes us do things that we normally won't do. In Buddhism, a mere bad thought is almost as good or bad as the actual act itself.

We have to be careful about getting angry. Aside from attracting so much negative energy it also makes us do things that we normally won’t do. In Buddhism, a mere bad thought is almost as good or bad as the actual act itself.

Lastly, the biggest of all Feng Shui blunders that I did was when at work, I lost my temper and unintentionally, said in a light way, that – SANA MA-KARMA SIYA DAHIL SA KASAMAAN NIYA! (Hope karma runs after her for her bad attitude!) that may have said simply out of anger and without much thought but it’s still a curse and there’s no excuse for it.

You see, Feng Shui charms work but we should never tempt fate. If we know its bad it’s best to simply avoid it and to top it off we should always try to stay positive. A simple anger created a lot of bad Feng Shui and thus I attracted people like CR.

By the way, there’s no pun intended in the initials CR. His initials are really CR. I shall do some cleansing to negate my Feng Shui blunder.

I have previously written about the Mystic Knot, and the Victory Banner. If you wish to know more about it, please just click on the following link:

The last object on the 8 Auspicious Objects of Buddhism is the Dharmachakra Wheel.

The truth is Dharmachakra means Wheel, so to call it Dharmachakra Wheel is a bit redundant, however, Dharmachakra Wheel is a term where most people outside Tibet are familiar with, so it is the term that I’ll be using here.dharmachakra wheel

The Dharmachakra Wheel is a symbol of Buddha’s teaching, however, the different parts each have their own iconography. The rim represents the factor of limitation, the hub represents the Earth’s axis, and the eight spokes shows the Eightfold Path dictated by Buddha.

In Feng Shui, the Dharmachakra Wheel is a powerful symbol to use for surmounting all shortcomings. Furthermore, the Dharmachakra Wheel is a powerful protection symbol that we can use to protect all the non-material things that are important to us.

The Eight Auspicious Objects of Buddhism: The Conch Shell

conch-shellIn ancient times the Conch Shell is used as a trumpet horn, and was considered as a symbol of strength and sovereignty. It is also said that ‘heroic figures’ are also given the conch shell as a symbol of gratitude from the ruler. Religiously, specially in Tibetan Buddhism, the conch shell is a ‘vessel’ for holy water and holy oil, and is also used as a trumpet to signify the start of an important religious event.

In Feng Shui, the conch shell is a powerful tool for those who wants to be able to prosper in their business ventures. It is also extremely beneficial for politicians to carry a conch shell because it will help them be stable in their position.

Carrying a conch shell is also a powerful tool to help a person attain a higher level of meditation.

Another Wish Fulfilled with the ‘Wish Fulfilling and Buddha’s Blessing Mantra Pendant’ –

Published April 6, 2013 by jptan2012

It was several months ago when I got an email about a woman who shared with me how the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT fulfilled her wish. I called the post Wish Fulfilled with the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT – A PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF A READER.

As the title indicates, this is yet another personal testimony of a reader.

I wanted this post to be written by my reader who shared with me this experience. However, she declined saying her written English is really. Well…mine is bad either, but that’s a different topic. :-)

Anyway, K is a 37 years old married woman from Chinese – Vietnamese who resides in Vietnam. She first contacted me late last year through email, according to her it was her 4th email and I didn’t reply to her first three emails. I apologized to her and explained that I received about between 50 to 75, there are times that it goes beyond 100, emails a day, and as much as I want to read all of them and respond to all emails, it is just physically impossible. As most readers would know this is just something that I do because I want to and that I have my own business that I need to take care of and not to mention that I recently just got a new dog. But that’s another story on its own.

Going back to K, she emailed me because she wants to ask for a Feng Shui help. K has been married to her husband for more than 10 years, and they have two daughters and a son. According to K, her husband and she are childhood sweethearts and that she knows that her husband is a good person. However, because of the nature of her husband’s job that entails a lot of travelling to other countries, he is always out of the house.

Little by little, K noticed that her husband since to become more aloof, and it was no longer just the physical separation that she has to think about but also the emotional separation. In fact, K said that her husband seems to be not home even when he’s home. She soon found out that her husband is involved with an Indonesian woman.

She was really surprised as much as she was hurt about what she found out, because she really believes that her husband is a very good person and that they were truly in-love, but more than that the husband has requested for a legal separation and that they he has moved out of the house.

Her kids took the separation badly and they started failing in schools and started becoming problem children. Furthermore, K’s career seems to be stagnant and her financial growth seems to have been stagnant for the past several years.

I decided to ask for K’s birthdate and did her Bazi for her. After which I also suggested a slew of Feng Shui cures for her problems. I didn’t dare recommend the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING AND MANTRA PENDANT because I myself find it to be quite pricey. However, K asks for it and insisted that I get her one. I did. I never heard from K again, that is not until approximately 2 weeks ago.

Front side of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING PENDANT

It was around 10pm when I receive a call on my mobile phone with an unknown number. I debated whether to take the call because I already had a really busy day and was quite tired. But curiosity got the better of me and I answered. It was K, calling me long distance from Vietnam.

I still remember the very first words of K, she said – JP, I GOT GOOD NEWS! I THANK YOU FOR HELP! MY FAMILY TOGETHER AGAIN! – She said in broken English. I didn’t quite get it right away, because by then I’ve forgotten about her situation, besides she didn’t even introduce herself. I said welcome and asked who was on the phone. She then introduced herself again.

According to K, after she got the pendant, she was very excited about the change that will come. However, after a week she didn’t notice any change that she got a little disappointed. She wanted to just take it off, however, she said she’d just give it a chance. About a month after she got the pendant, her boss informed her that she was being transferred to another department, to head it, and naturally, there was an increase the salary as well. Not only that, after about 2 weeks after she was informed of her promotion, her children’s school guidance counselor called her to inform her that her children is slowly growing back to their old self.

At that point, she started attributing all of the changes to the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT, but a part of her is not sure. Then she got a call from her husband who requested to meet with her. She agreed, and in tears and literally on bended knees the husband requested for forgiveness and requested that she accept her again.

She called me the night after her husband moved in to their house again. She said it was really the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA’S BLESSING MANTRA PENDANT that fulfilled all fixed her problems.

The back side of the WISH FULFILLING AND BUDDHA MANTRA BLESSING PENDANT has the images of the Victory Banner, Lung-Ta or Windhorse, the seed syllable of the Goddess Tara - TAM, and the symbolic script of the MEDICINE BUDDHA MANTRA, WISH FULFILLING MANTRA, and the NEGATIVE KARMA CLEANSING MANTRA.

The Eight Auspicious Objects of Buddhism: The Lotus

Published April 6, 2013 by jptan2012

A pink lotus flower and lily pads with saturated colorThere are a lot of Buddhist and Taoist icons that are depicted either sitting on a lotus or are holding a lotus. This is because the growth pattern of  a lotus represents the development that a being can make. The lotus has the ability to blossom out of dirty or muddy water – which represents materialism, the it grows past the water – which indicates experience, and make its way towards the sun – which represents enlightenment. It is a symbol of both mental and spiritual purity. The lotus which is a water flower is a symbol of blossoming decent deeds, that results in purification of the both mind and body.

In Feng Shui, the lotus also has the power to transform bad luck into good luck, and it is also said that the lotus has the power to drive out negative energies.

Wearing an image of the lotus made of a white stone or jade will help bring lots of blessings. It will also help in the attainment of the enlightenment.

The treasure vase, even without the ritual and powerful ingredients that goes with it is a very powerful wealth – granting symbol or object. It is a powerful object that brings tons of material and financial prosperity.

In China, a lot of the rich people their has wealth vase hidden in their cupboard or cabinets. Some of the noveau rich in China also has wealth vase in their living rooms. I personally believe that wealth vases should be hidden and not displayed.

golden fishA pair of fish represents harmony, good family life, happiness, fertility and recovery. Given that the pair of fish are golden, it also represents abundance. In China, the fish also symbolizes unity and loyalty, and it is for this reason that the golden fish are often offered as wedding gifts to symbolize an abundant long peaceful life of the couple.

Thus a pair of golden fish is good for people who are facing financial troubles with their partners.
